Justin Holland’s Instagram Lead System: Attraction Marketing and the Six Post Method
You post a photo. You wait. Three likes come in, maybe a follow from an account that unfollows you two days later, and no lead ever shows up in your inbox. So you post more, follow more people, and start wondering if Instagram actually works for anyone who isn’t already famous on it.
As someone trying to generate leads without an ad budget, you already know that specific kind of tired: hours spent tapping through your phone with nothing to show for it by dinner. Justin Holland built his Instagram approach to close that exact gap, running it across several of his own accounts before he ever taught it to anyone else.
Why does Instagram out-earn the platform you are probably already using?
Justin opens with a comparison most people never bother to check: when the top 25 brands of 2014 were measured across Twitter and Instagram, Instagram’s engagement beat Twitter’s by a fair way, largely because of how little friction there is to interact. A retweet takes a tap and a decision. A double-tap on a photo takes nothing at all, and it still counts as a like. That gap in friction is a big part of why a small Instagram account can get noticed faster than the same account on almost anything else.
What he builds on top of that isn’t a hard sell dressed up as a photo feed. It’s a lifestyle brand, built around what he calls attraction marketing.
attraction marketing for those who don’t know what attraction marketing is it’s marketing through your life through your lifestyle rather than throwing a product at someone
His own bio proves the point. There’s no product mention anywhere on it, just a lifestyle identity built around law of attraction, coaching, and public speaking, so the people who follow him are already self-selecting into his market before he ever asks them for anything.
What actually has to be true about your bio and your first six posts?
Justin is specific about the mechanics here, not just the philosophy. Your username and your domain name need to visibly match, because a stranger who notices the resemblance clicks through at a noticeably higher rate than a stranger clicking a generic link. Your landing page needs to work in a single click with no scrolling required, since Instagram leads are neither cold nor warm, they sit somewhere in between, and a lukewarm lead who has to hunt for your opt-in will simply leave. He builds in a small safeguard for the list itself, telling visitors their free item will be emailed to the address they enter, which quietly discourages people from typing a throwaway email.
Then there’s the feed a new visitor actually sees. Justin calls it the six post method, and it sets the ratio for everything above the fold.
- Three value posts: quotes, inspiration, and photos that give the audience something worth having, with no product attached.
- Two personal posts: real photos of his actual life, so a follower sees a person, not a funnel.
- One business post: his free workshop training, the only place in the six where he asks for an email address.
He shows the numbers behind it. A personal photo pulled around 90 likes, a lifestyle shot cleared 140, and a straight value post went past 300, all without a single sales line in the caption. The ratio is the mechanism. Lead with value, stay personal, and let the one business post do the asking.
How do you find real followers without getting your account shut down?
Here’s the objection most people would raise before they even start: doesn’t hunting down strangers and mass-following them just make you another spammer, the exact thing Instagram is built to police? Justin’s answer is about targeting, not volume for its own sake. Instead of chasing a massive hashtag like law of attraction, he searches narrower tags and looks specifically for small accounts, sixteen to thirty-four followers is his own example, because those accounts are far more likely to follow back or at least look at your profile than one that already has thousands of people watching it.
He’s blunt about the ceiling on all of this too. As Justin Holland puts it, “you can follow and like up to 160 people per hour”, though he doesn’t recommend running anywhere near that number, since Instagram polices exactly this kind of behavior and a flagged account is an account you lose. The same restraint applies to direct messages: a short, warm thank-you-for-following note sent one at a time, never copy-pasted to a visible group, and never pitching a product in the first line. Cold marketing doesn’t work on a lukewarm lead, and Justin treats that as a fixed rule rather than a suggestion.
The back half of this session covers what most people skip past entirely: which apps actually build the content (a quote-graphic app watermarked so a repost still carries your link back to you, and a framing app for squaring any photo to Instagram’s dimensions), how to run three or four accounts at once without Instagram shutting them down for posting identical content everywhere simultaneously, and when it makes sense to hand routine posting off to a freelancer instead of doing it yourself late at night. Justin is upfront that this isn’t a one-account, one-hour-a-day grind forever. He gets his own accounts down to about thirty minutes a day once the system and the outsourcing are running, and by his own account he’s been able to attract “between two and five leads free per day, per account” once the bio, the ratio, and the targeting are all working together.
Create your free account to watch Justin Holland build every one of these pieces live on his own phone, the bio, the landing page, the six-post feed, and the app workflow, so you can copy the exact sequence instead of piecing it together from a screenshot. hey guys it's Justin here and today I'm going to teach you guys how to use Instagram to its fullest potential so you can make sure that you are generating leads on a daily basis through another one of your social media platforms and now you know we have all different social media platforms through Instagram Pinterest Twitter Facebook and the like but um Instagram is something that's so engaging to the user that it just makes it easy and engagement towards other brands to other other social media platforms he's not as high that's proved this particularly against Twitter and the top 25 brands of 2014 were up against each other in both Twitter and Instagram and um and the engagement rate for Instagram beats it by a by a fair way and it's kind of for those who know Instagram you know how easy it is to engage with it with a double tap on honor on a photo which gives it a like you know how easy it is to engage with it with a double tap on honor on a photo compared to like Twitter where you've got a retweet or click a button to to make something happen to make engagement happen so you know Instagram wins on you know kind of cheating in their way to engagement but creating engagement creating more users using what you're looking to do is big and if you can get that quite comfortably and quite easily then you're going to be starting you know start generating traffic the right way to your accounts so I'm we're going to get started right away and just chat about some of the things that you're going to be looking for you're going to be looking for is like how can you get the people to get those things connected and talk about how to get those things communicated to your account um I'm going to give you a few tips about how to be able to get those connections to actually get more users to actually engage with those also what I'd like to do is we've talked about before is Instagram we've talked about how we can get thousands of people on there but Instagram is pretty advantageous also it's really powerful because it's not about you know your account actually being outside of the world but I think users and I'll get into that a bit later so when it comes to finding your niche finding who you want to be targeting and what kind of people you're going to be targeting it's important to know what country that they come from because it even if even if you think that they're if they're a worldwide brand and you're trying to contact someone in the US there will be you know potentially 70% of those people that you're targeting outside of the US and it may not be the right market that you're trying to you know aspire to trying to connect with so let's get into this guys and we're going to try and keep this for under under 45 minutes today keep it short and smart so you guys can get going straight away and making sure that you can start generating leads to your online business straight away all right let's get into this guys so first off we're going to talk about the tools needed to create the perfect Instagram account and we're just going to go straight onto that and then we're going to go to the next slide and then we're going to go to the next slide and then we're talking about how to create an attractive and inviting funnel we won't touch too much on the the back end of the funnel but we will touch on how to make sure that you have the perfect landing page that can go through to a funnel or you know a value funnel value ebook or whatever it is but we'll get to that a bit later bonus tools tips and how do you make sure that you are better than the next the person next to you better than the marketer next to you making sure that you're always above and beyond what someone else is doing and then we're going to finish off with something a little bit interesting with automation and outsourcing so let's get straight into it guys the perfect bio alright so the way that I do my Instagram accounts I have multiple Instagram accounts and I'll get into that get into that soon is using attraction marketing for those who don't know what attraction marketing is it's marketing through your life through your lifestyle rather than throwing a product at someone as you can see here I don't have any kind of product advertising on my on my bio you guys are more than welcome to go and check it out LOA underscore Justin I'm really big into law of attraction and you'll see that resonated throughout the photos and and the comments that I use inside my Instagram account first off we're going to talk about building this perfect bio okay so at the top I have LOA underscore Justin and that is my username as you will see in my in my domain name in my URL I have LOA in it I would recommend making sure that your name inside your bio your username and your domain name very much similar okay guys I can't stress that enough when someone sees your username and they see your they see your domain name and I They will see that resonation between the two and they'll be inclined to click on it if you have a link from say bitly or You know a direct marketing link the probability of someone clicking on it is much lower.
So just keep that in mind I Get asked every day. How do I create this cool? Cool looking bios and I'm just going to show you exactly how I do it I'm for those with an iPhone you're in luck for those who aren't there are apps on Android and the like that you can use So keep that in mind and we'll go through that kind of stuff a bit later. So my bio explanation As you can see here, I've got success coach public speaker I've got my bookings email and I've got a quick bit a quick little comment about what I actually do I'm a I like to coach people.
That's what I do for a living I coach and mentor online Public speaker where I'm able to speak at events About what I do and my in my new marketing tools that I'm currently using So make sure that you are truthful you are yourself and you are using An explanation bio that fits what you're trying to get out here So for me, I want to connect with those who have a law of attraction mindset those who want to succeed online So that's the way I always go I go Towards law of attraction people and and also law of attraction people who are interested in business and we'll get to that soon Alright, so your call to action is obviously going to be your domain name And then your landing and bridge page video demonstration.
We're just going to get into that now Okay guys, so next up Mobile friendly landing pages as you can see, this is not a mobile friendly landing page at the moment I'm going to show you why it would be and why it wouldn't be so Alright guys, so I'm gonna bring up my phone here. Alright guys, so we're gonna go straight into My Instagram we're just gonna click straight on my LOA one. I'm gonna tell you why this is not a great landing page So I did this on purpose. I will not keep it as it is I wanted to show you an example of a not so good landing page and one that does not convert anywhere near All right, here it comes It's gonna come up here now and what we're gonna do what we're gonna see is that this is gonna go through to a landing page that makes me scroll and What we don't want to do is is have someone have to scroll through because the leads inside Instagram They're not cold, but I actually wouldn't call them warm.
I'd say there's somewhere in between that maybe a lukewarm They're probably like lukewarm so they're gonna want to see a button to click on straight away an email to put in Straight away I'm gonna tell you why I like this point. I don't like it. I love the writing in here I think that this actually gives us a chance to See what I'm actually about and see what I'm doing but what it does it makes you scroll through and What I don't want someone to do is keep scrolling down to get to a clickable action to my quarter action Okay guys, what I want them to do is be able to click click on my quarter action From the first page.
I'm going to show you exactly an example of that All right guys, so jump into my notes. I'm going to click through here. See this so I can actually See the whole landing page on here and click through to my Good my link. I'm an important a couple of little important notes here Keep it short and simple so you can fit it in the screen and always put that whatever value you're sending your customer whether it be a bridge video an e-book Even an offer depending on what you're looking to do Make sure that you say that you're in a little trick here that your Value will be emailed to your address below.
I put ebook will be emailed to your address below This takes out dummy emails so make sure that you are putting in the correct email and then clicking free book here and it will go through to Then putting in their name and email Alright guys so I'm just going to go back into my Instagram here as I mentioned before My bio here is looking quite cool. The way I make it is in my notes up and I've just made it in here using emoticons. I'm Just with my emoticons on here You can type in whatever you need to do and you can actually press return and then you can literally copy and paste Select all you can copy and paste that straight into your Instagram so you can have a great looking bio Straight away, you don't have to mess around with any special programs or anything like that Alright, let's jump into the next next one All right, the six post method.
So what we're going to do here I've you know over time over the over the time that I've been using Instagram I've devised a post method that has proved to be The most successful and it's called the six post method when someone comes into my bio what they see They see my bio, which is obviously important and exactly what I've gone through so far but I also see the first six posts on my Instagram profile so What matters here is that you aren't spamming an audience with what you see with what you post You can see here.
There's no spamming at all. What I've got here is The first one is a value post Second one is a personal post Third one is a business post. This one's a value post a personal post Sorry a value post and a value post what I mean by a value post isn't in isn't the same that we usually use in Network marketing a value post is usually something that gives away Something to the customer that they can use to the audience that they want to see that they that they really value and I actually have I Call my in my Instagram six post method.
I actually call my business post I Actually call it my business post which is my free Instagram workshop training, etc And I might give away different things and I'll show you that in a minute Okay, so I have What I want to do here is I have three value post quotes inspiration and photos Two personal posts as you can see I've got two personal posts of me one business post lead with Values all the time don't go slamming your product on here Do a soft sell the the leads we're getting in are not completely warm, but they're not completely cold So don't go cold and be a cold marketer for Instagram Let's keep it nice and warm and and make sure that people want to interact with your page What as you can see I post a book here and I get 90 likes and I get a lot of comments so it's pretty cool, and then if I go over to A post like this I get upwards of 140 likes in it's not even a not even a big one if I push over to Something like a post like this a Value post I get over 300 likes that's simple To the point and people actually want to see this as you can see I'm not selling anything here I'm not selling anything here either, but what they're doing is they're gonna they're gonna go to my my free workshop training and what they're going to do is pop in their pop in their email address and they're going to be on my email list so again I get I get free leads from this I would have got a fair few from this post and then I also have different things like a free ebook that I can also put on here and I'm just going to show you guys how to post how I can so as you can see if I'm going into this ebook here at the top I've got freeebook.justinsmovement.com so you can actually I'm going to show you how to do this I'm going to go edit what you can actually do is you can click on when you do a new post you can click on your location you can go change location and you can actually type in free ebook in the link provided you can go something like that you can go something like that you can go something like that you can do whatever you want press create and it's going to come up with that so it's a big tool it's the first thing someone sees below your name and it's in bright blue so it's it's a it's actually the only colored link that you're going to see inside a post so it's quite important to use it so make sure you do use it actually I was wrong it's not blue but it's great anyway we're going to move on from there it is a it is a great tool to use so get into it and use it one thing I love about Instagram is that you can post many photos as you want so do it use as many photos you want a day in one account you could post three or four photos in a day but make sure they are spread out throughout the day what I've actually what I what I originally did when I had just a couple of accounts is that I would just you know do about 20 to 30 minutes a day on Instagram where I where I would post a photo I would follow a niche market and and that would be it for the day and I'm going to show you exactly the process of doing that so for me in this account I'm looking at I want to look at law of attraction fans and the like so what I'm going to do is I'm going to explain to you how many people you can like and follow per hour you can follow and like up to 160 people per hour now I wouldn't recommend that Instagram still might catch to my catch-on and like might not be happy with you and going in and liking following all these different things so what we want to do right now is jump into search we're going to search some hash tags here but at attractive again go to you can go into this account so what you can do here these people are all enjoying the law of attraction so by go into here I go on a 358 likes I can actually go through here and have a look at the profiles that I want to like that looks like a you know a man that likes to as you can see he already likes I attract to me unlimited abundance as you can tell law of attraction he's loving it so I'll go ahead and follow that you just go down and just start searching start searching for people that looks great no maybe not I might take that one off and then we go through all different ones and you can start following people just like this and what that does a follow why follow over a like like on a photo when someone you know most people that have account don't have that many people as you can see this person only has 34 followers if I press follow the likelihood of them following me back is very high or the very least looking at my profile you alright guys so that's how you do that and there's another way of doing it and you're going to do is go back into here and go to hashtags so law of attraction specialist I would actually stay away from law of attraction it's massive you can do it but it's hard to find distinct users that aren't that that may want to see what you're doing so I'd like to go into something like this and what you can actually do is see what you enjoy and you can actually go ahead and like it you've probably had a like and when you find a really cool one what I like to do is when you go through here if you see a lot of likes I probably wouldn't go ahead and and click on follow I'm going to just put it a cool profile and I like to look at it but generally what I'll show you exactly an idea so one okay if I go here let's have a look like I here this person has just retweeted a post from that Webster that that that page that I was just on and She only has 16 likes.
The likelihood of her having a lot of likes is having a lot of followers is low. I would estimate she'd have under 100 to 200 likes of followers. Let's have a look here. She has a couple of followers.
But you know what? She's posting about this and she may be looking for a way to connect with you and find the value in what you're trying to share. We always want to make sure that we're leading with the value. Okay guys?
So making sure that when you're thinking about adding someone, it's going to be why do you want them to resonate with you? Why do you think they're going to resonate with you? Do you think they want to connect with you? Okay.
Look, you can't can go through and start liking things like this. Just be careful. I wouldn't go and like him like that too quickly. But I did say that you can like up to 160 photos an hour and you can go and follow up to 160 people an hour.
So I want you guys to really think about your niche market and get into it. Get into the nitty gritty. Find some really small posts. I really like this one.
Law Retraction Coach. I love this one. Look how much better these are. As soon as you go down in the amount of hashtags, you're generally going to get higher quality people to look at.
So keep that in mind. Again, when I mentioned before when you can put in your, up at the top where I put workshop.justinsmovement.com, you can put in your… Your link. So make sure that you can add your domain to your link and make sure you take the most value out of it and only put it in links, your value posts and also business posts.
I wouldn't put it in personal posts because this is personal. You want people to resonate with you and not feel like they're being hounded by a marketer every day of the week. All right. So next up, we're going to go through…
We're going to go through apps for your phone. This is a complete… Instagram is completely done on your phone. We will talk about a few things off your phone, but to start off with, we're just going to go through stuff on your phone.
All right. Word Swag. We're going to go through Word Swag and Square Ready today and just touch on the other ones. A product disclaimer.
There's no affiliations with any of the products that I'm using here. So just make note of that. I don't have any affiliate links, nor does any company. None of our company have an affiliate with them either.
So just make note of that. I don't have any affiliate links, nor does any company, nor does our company have an affiliate with them either. So just make note of that. All right.
So we're going to go straight into Word Swag. Actually, go back into here. And for a photo like this, I made this myself in Word Swag. Very, very simple.
And I'll show you a quick couple of tips on how you can make amazing photos and amazing quotes. Plenty of apps hanging around here. So these are a few of my apps I've got. Feel free to copy them.
So I've got these ones here, these ones here. And then I've also got the ones on my page just here. So you guys are more than welcome to have a look at them. We're just going to go into Word Swag to start off with.
And I'm going to show you guys exactly how this is used. All right. So click on here. We're just going to do something quite simple.
We're going to edit this. I'm just going to type in a quick quote. You can actually use stuff over here. These are able to be used.
The classics, you can just start tuning through these. There's plenty of stuff that you can use. I generally go for my own. You just think of them.
Or you can just jump on Google and find some quotes. Make sure that if you are using a quote by a certain user or certain author that you do use a quote. If it's unknown, you don't have to put unknown. But yeah, just keep that in mind.
But if a quote is someone else's, you should be stating that. So I can put in a quote something like, the next 24 hours are the most important. Something simple. I can change the color here.
Red. And then I can make it really cool like this. I want this one. Okay.
So then what you do, you move that up. And what I'm going to do here is press done. Okay. A trick here is to go back and kind of watermark your own photo.
So if someone ever reposts it, your link's always going to be there. So what do I do? So I go back and re-swag. Go back and re-swag and I put your website.
I'm going to put that down there. I can make that maybe black. I can change, maybe change style. Like that.
You can make it a bit smaller, possibly, and we are good to go. So you can press done there and it's literally just going to save straight to your phone and you can upload that straight away to Instagram. You can also use your own photos by clicking on that. Okay.
By clicking on this. And I can just simply take a photo like that. And it's going to bring it over here. You can actually just word-swag over the top of it, as you can see.
Obviously, I'm not going to use this photo. But yeah. Square ready. So a lot of people, when they take photos, they don't think about Instagram when they take them further.
They just take photos and have them in their camera and they can't figure out a way to square them. But because it's a square, because Instagram is square, you can only fit in the, say, 200 by 200 photo. I think it's 160 by 160. I'm pretty sure.
160 by 160 by 160. And a great app to be able to use any photo that you're looking to do is Square Ready. So you don't need to have your photo squared already. You can simply come into here.
And while I've taken a photo. Okay. For example, I took a photo of my office today. And it's not, you know, look at it.
It's all over the place. So I can just simply just click like this. So there we go. Or I can make it a cool little square like that.
Anything that you want. Okay. And I can just go and simply just save this. Or I can post it straight to Instagram.
So that's saved now. And then if I want to post this on Instagram, I could go like this and post it. And maybe it hasn't done it yet. Let that end go.
Hasn't done it. Instagram. Let's save this. And then we can get on with some more fun stuff.
Done. Cool. Let's get this up. So then an office for the day.
Office for the day. Name this location. Now, generally, I wouldn't recommend naming this location because it is office day. Because it is a value post, a quote post, or a personal post as such as well.
So I'm just going to post that. And now it's on here. And it looks pretty cool. Squared off.
Look, you can see everything sort of beach in the background. It's a cool photo. So make sure that you are getting pretty cool photos on there. That's what Instagram is about.
Getting cool photos on there. There are some other Canva web browser. Look it up. Canva.com.
It could actually be .au. It's an Australian company but I don't know .au. I'm not going to go into it right now but you can use it for any social media platform. It's basically like the easiest web design thing in the world.
Just use it. It's amazing. I use it for everything. Generally, not for Instagram anymore because I like to just do it all from my phone.
But I'll show you why you could actually do everything from your computer. So Canva for your computer. You actually can't upload Instagram stuff to your computer but I will give you another option how to do this right away. All right.
So next up, we're on the picture automation. I'm going to take that off. All right, guys. So we're going to go.
We're going to Instapload. So Instapload is an app on your iPhone. I think it's also readily available on an Android. Don't hold me to it.
I know it used to be but Instapload is a bit of a funny one. It's not my favorite and again, there's no affiliation with this product but Instapload allows you to upload up to eight photos at a time to eight different accounts and we're going to get into being able to upload. Create different accounts and why it's so cool. So for example, for me, I'm a keen traveler.
I love law of attraction. So I'd have two different Instagram accounts, one focusing on the law of attraction, one focusing on travel. As you guys saw in my photos, I could actually post the same type of photo on both, same type of photo on both of these accounts. As I mentioned earlier, we use law of attraction.
So all I'm simply doing is showing my life to the world and it doesn't matter if I'm in the travel niche or the law of attraction niche. They're both going to be explaining what my life is. Occasionally, I'll have more of a travel pic on my travel account and occasionally I'll have a law of attraction quote on my law of attraction account. But generally, I'll post similar photos across the accounts.
And Instagram is great for that because it means that I can pop in my accounts and a couple of times a day I can upload my photos. I don't even have to touch Instagram for that guys. So it's pretty cool. So I'd recommend getting it.
But a word of warning, if you're going to have eight accounts, do not post eight photos to eight accounts at one time. You are going to get your accounts shut down. Be very careful about this. I would do three maximum four at once.
If you're going to use the same photo across three or four accounts, you can. Just be careful. I do max three accounts. I run a fair few accounts now and I'm able to generate leads daily from all these accounts.
And I do do it on the automation process. So Instapload is a great little tool that you can use to start doing that. Another one is called www.onlypult.com. Again, this is from your computer.
So you could easily use Canva. And you could also use OnlyPult to just do Instagram. You could actually post from OnlyPult. You can actually schedule your posts.
So you can schedule for days, weeks in advance. Occasionally, I use OnlyPult occasionally and on a Sunday night, I'll actually set up all my posts for seven days. Done. Don't touch Instagram for a week for posting photos.
I'll actually just go in and do my random likes, ads and that kind of thing. Okay, guys. So next up, we're going to go into outsourcing. So this is when you get over a few accounts.
You can only create five accounts from your phone. So I wouldn't recommend going over five accounts. Find five different niche markets that you want to use. And by all means, go for it.
But it will take a bit of work. And that's why I've come across or I've decided to outsource them. I've decided to outsource some of my work. And you can do this on different websites like eLearns and Upwork and Fiverr and those kind of websites.
And I'll let you guys check them out yourselves because everyone's a bit differential about this. It works very well. And you can actually get marketing coordinators to take up your work where you can give them designated niches to tap into, designated hashtags to tap into. And you can give them limits to like, follow and comment on a daily basis.
It's quite cheap and it's a great source to use to outsource some of your work. You cannot go across five or six accounts and comment and like on 160 people per hour. It's just ridiculous. I used to try that kind of stuff in the beginning and it would take hours per day.
Now I'm down to like half an hour a day on my Instagram accounts. And that's through multiple channels. So, certainly look at that as time goes on. But I would recommend doing it yourself for the first few accounts to make sure that you are on top of things.
All right, so what I want to go through next is direct messaging. It's an important part of what we do. So I'm going to get my phone back on here. And something that a lot of people actually don't know what direct messaging is.
So I'm in my Law of Attraction account here. And direct messaging is just like a Facebook message or a Twitter message or something like that. It's quite personal because not many people know how to use it. And when one pops up on their system, they're like, wow, that's cool.
This guy's trying to contact me personally. So I get all random. We're going to go up here. I get a few random people contacting me.
And what I'm going to do, I'm just going to show you exactly how to do it. And we want to be really warm for this. So what I actually do is simply just put a thanks for the follow. I created this inside of Word Swag.
Thanks for the follow. And then a follow up with my Facebook page. You can put that to your blog. You can put that to your personal Facebook page.
Be wary. You'll get a crap load of Facebook ads. So I had to take one off. And simply keep it warm.
Keep it valuable. What you want to do here is hustle. You want to be able to hustle people. You want to be able to build relationships.
Not hustle on the end that you throw stuff at them. Hustle on the end that you build relationships. As we know, cold marketing towards a market like this is not going to work. Everyone out there does it.
Let's be different. Let's be above them and make sure that our marketing is to a T. Marketing is perfect to a T. So what I'm going to do here.
Okay. Thanks for the follow. Hope to see you around the world somewhere. Abundance.
Abundance. Wishing you a life of abundance. Wishing you a life of abundance. Very, very simple.
Press okay. I will not share any kind of product in here. This will have someone click on your account. Okay.
Only do one at a time. When you see people go one, two, three, four, five. They're all going to see that you're posting it to all these people at once. Do one at a time guys.
Do one at a time and press send. And you can simply go in, copy and paste and send it to a few a day. So it's up to you how you want to do that. As you can see, I've actually just tested this a bit before.
Already got a reply back. And I go and follow her now. And she's already interacted with me. And I can actually start a conversation here.
I can start a conversation and start the hustle. Start the real work. Start working like we are taught in marketing to build relationships. And never sell a product to them.
Let them want to know what you're about. So just keep that in mind guys. I find direct messaging probably the number one tool on Instagram. Inside of Instagram obviously we've got a lot of tools outside as well.
With the apps, the outsourcing, that kind of thing. But yeah, that's about it today guys. I'm not really going to close up on too much. But to really get into Instagram guys, as I mentioned, there's 300 million active users per day.
Per day? Per month. Per month guys, sorry. Got that one wrong.
But make sure you get into this and use these methods that I've been able to attract. I've been able to attract between two and five leads free per day, per account. So you certainly will be able to get a few leads a day on one account. So as long as you follow my procedures, follow my tools, and make sure that you are active on Instagram daily, making sure that you are following, you are liking, you are commenting, and you are direct messaging in your niche market, then you will be fine.
So thanks so much guys. And hopefully I'll see you guys around the world somewhere as well. Maybe at one of our next events. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, it's Justin here, and today I'm going to teach you guys how to use Instagram to its fullest potential so you can make sure that you are generating leads on a daily basis through another one of your social media platforms. Now, you know we have all different social media platforms, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and the like, but Instagram is something that's so engaging to the user that it just makes it easy, and engagement towards other brands on other social media platforms is not as high. That's proved this particularly against Twitter: the top 25 brands of 2014 were up against each other in both Twitter and Instagram, and the engagement rate for Instagram beats it by a fair way. For those who know Instagram, you know how easy it is to engage with it with a double tap on a photo, which gives it a like, compared to Twitter where you've got a retweet or click a button to make engagement happen. So Instagram wins, kind of cheating in their way to engagement, but creating more users using what you're looking to do is big, and if you can get that quite comfortably and quite easily, then you're going to start generating traffic the right way to your accounts.
So we're going to get started right away and just chat about some of the things that you're going to be looking for. You're going to be looking for how you can get people connected and talk about how to get those things communicated to your account. I'm going to give you a few tips about how to be able to get those connections to actually get more users to actually engage with those. Also, what I'd like to do, as we've talked about before with Instagram, we've talked about how we can get thousands of people on there, but Instagram is pretty advantageous, it's really powerful, because it's not about your account actually being outside of the world, but real users, and I'll get into that a bit later. When it comes to finding your niche, finding who you want to be targeting and what kind of people you're going to be targeting, it's important to know what country they come from, because even if they're a worldwide brand and you're trying to contact someone in the US, there will potentially be 70% of those people that you're targeting outside of the US, and it may not be the right market that you're trying to aspire to connect with. So let's get into this guys, and we're going to try and keep this under 45 minutes today, keep it short and smart so you guys can get going straight away and make sure that you can start generating leads to your online business straight away.
All right, let's get into this guys. So first off, we're going to talk about the tools needed to create the perfect Instagram account, and we're just going to go straight onto that, and then we're going to go to the next slide, and then we're talking about how to create an attractive and inviting funnel. We won't touch too much on the back end of the funnel, but we will touch on how to make sure that you have the perfect landing page that can go through to a funnel, a value ebook, or whatever it is, but we'll get to that a bit later. Bonus tools, tips, and how do you make sure that you are better than the marketer next to you, making sure that you're always above and beyond what someone else is doing. And then we're going to finish off with something a little bit interesting with automation and outsourcing. So let's get straight into it, guys, the perfect bio.
All right, so the way that I do my Instagram accounts, I have multiple Instagram accounts, and I'll get into that soon, is using attraction marketing. For those who don't know what attraction marketing is, it's marketing through your lifestyle rather than throwing a product at someone. As you can see here, I don't have any kind of product advertising on my bio. You guys are more than welcome to go and check it out, LOA underscore Justin. I'm really big into law of attraction, and you'll see that resonated throughout the photos and the comments that I use inside my Instagram account. First off, we're going to talk about building this perfect bio. So at the top I have LOA underscore Justin, and that is my username, and as you will see in my domain name, in my URL, I have LOA in it. I would recommend making sure that your username and your domain name are very much similar. I can't stress that enough. When someone sees your username and they see your domain name, they will see that resonation between the two, and they'll be inclined to click on it. If you have a link from say Bitly or a direct marketing link, the probability of someone clicking on it is much lower. So just keep that in mind.
I get asked every day how do I create these cool looking bios, and I'm just going to show you exactly how I do it. For those with an iPhone, you're in luck. For those who aren't, there are apps on Android and the like that you can use, so keep that in mind and we'll go through that kind of stuff a bit later. So my bio explanation: as you can see here, I've got success coach, public speaker, I've got my bookings email, and I've got a quick little comment about what I actually do. I like to coach people, that's what I do for a living. I coach and mentor online, public speaker where I'm able to speak at events about what I do and my new marketing tools that I'm currently using. So make sure that you are truthful, you are yourself, and you are using an explanation bio that fits what you're trying to get out here. For me, I want to connect with those who have a law of attraction mindset, those who want to succeed online. So that's the way I always go, I go towards law of attraction people, and also law of attraction people who are interested in business, and we'll get to that soon. All right, so your call to action is obviously going to be your domain name, and then your landing and bridge page, video demonstration. We're just going to get into that now.
Okay guys, so next up, mobile friendly landing pages. As you can see, this is not a mobile friendly landing page at the moment. I'm going to show you why it would be and why it wouldn't be. All right guys, so I'm gonna bring up my phone here. All right guys, so we're gonna go straight into my Instagram, we're just gonna click straight on my LOA one. I'm gonna tell you why this is not a great landing page. I did this on purpose, I will not keep it as it is. I wanted to show you an example of a not so good landing page, one that does not convert anywhere near as well.
All right, here it comes. It's gonna come up here now, and what we're gonna see is that this is gonna go through to a landing page that makes me scroll, and what we don't want to do is have someone have to scroll through, because the leads inside Instagram, they're not cold, but I actually wouldn't call them warm. I'd say there's somewhere in between, maybe lukewarm. They're probably like lukewarm, so they're gonna want to see a button to click on straight away, an email to put in straight away. I'm gonna tell you why I like this point, I don't like it. I love the writing in here, I think that this actually gives us a chance to see what I'm actually about and see what I'm doing, but what it does, it makes you scroll through, and what I don't want someone to do is keep scrolling down to get to a clickable action, to my call to action. Okay guys, what I want them to do is be able to click on my call to action from the first page. I'm going to show you exactly an example of that.
All right guys, so jump into my notes, I'm going to click through here. See this, so I can actually see the whole landing page on here and click through to my link. I'm important, a couple of little important notes here: keep it short and simple so you can fit it in the screen, and always put that whatever value you're sending your customer, whether it be a bridge video, an e-book, even an offer, depending on what you're looking to do. Make sure that you say that your value will be emailed to your address below. I put "ebook will be emailed to your address below." This takes out dummy emails, so make sure that you are putting in the correct email, and then clicking free book here, and it will go through to then putting in their name and email.
All right guys, so I'm just going to go back into my Instagram here. As I mentioned before, my bio here is looking quite cool. The way I make it is in my notes, I've just made it in here using emoticons. With my emoticons on here, you can type in whatever you need to do, and you can actually press return, and then you can literally copy and paste, select all, you can copy and paste that straight into your Instagram, so you can have a great looking bio straight away. You don't have to mess around with any special programs or anything like that. All right, let's jump into the next one, the six post method.
So what we're going to do here, I've, over the time that I've been using Instagram, devised a post method that has proved to be the most successful, and it's called the six post method. When someone comes into my bio, what they see, they see my bio, which is obviously important and exactly what I've gone through so far, but they also see the first six posts on my Instagram profile. So what matters here is that you aren't spamming an audience with what you post. You can see here, there's no spamming at all. What I've got here is: the first one is a value post, second one is a personal post, third one is a business post, this one's a value post, a personal post, a value post, and a value post. What I mean by a value post isn't the same that we usually use in network marketing, a value post is usually something that gives away something to the customer, to the audience, that they really value. And I call my business post my free Instagram workshop training, etc, and I might give away different things, and I'll show you that in a minute.
Okay, so what I want to do here is I have three value post quotes, inspiration and photos, two personal posts, as you can see, I've got two personal posts of me, one business post. Lead with value all the time, don't go slamming your product on here, do a soft sell. The leads we're getting in are not completely warm, but they're not completely cold, so don't go cold and be a cold marketer for Instagram. Let's keep it nice and warm and make sure that people want to interact with your page. As you can see, I post a book here and I get 90 likes and I get a lot of comments, so it's pretty cool. And then if I go over to a post like this, I get upwards of 140 likes on it, and it's not even a big one. If I push over to something like a value post, I get over 300 likes, that's simple, to the point, and people actually want to see this. As you can see, I'm not selling anything here, I'm not selling anything here either, but what they're doing is they're gonna go to my free workshop training, and what they're going to do is pop in their email address, and they're going to be on my email list. So again, I get free leads from this, I would have got a fair few from this post, and then I also have different things like a free ebook that I can also put on here, and I'm just going to show you guys how I post.
As you can see, if I'm going into this ebook here at the top, I've got freeebook.justinsmovement.com, so I'm going to show you how to do this. What you can actually do is you can click on, when you do a new post, you can click on your location, you can go change location, and you can actually type in "free ebook" in the link provided, you can go something like that, and you can do whatever you want, press create, and it's going to come up with that. So it's a big tool, it's the first thing someone sees below your name, and it's in bright blue, so it's actually the only colored link that you're going to see inside a post, so it's quite important to use it. Make sure you do use it. Actually, I was wrong, it's not blue, but it's great anyway, we're going to move on from there. It is a great tool to use, so get into it and use it.
One thing I love about Instagram is that you can post as many photos as you want, so do it, use as many photos you want a day. In one account you could post three or four photos in a day, but make sure they are spread out throughout the day. What I originally did when I had just a couple of accounts is that I would do about 20 to 30 minutes a day on Instagram, where I would post a photo, I would follow a niche market, and that would be it for the day, and I'm going to show you exactly the process of doing that. So for me, in this account I'm looking at, I want to look at law of attraction fans and the like, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to explain to you how many people you can like and follow per hour. You can follow and like up to 160 people per hour, now I wouldn't recommend that, Instagram still might catch on and might not be happy with you going in and liking and following all these different things.
So what we want to do right now is jump into search, we're going to search some hashtags here, law of attraction, go into this account, so what you can do here, these people are all enjoying law of attraction. So going in here, I go on a post with 358 likes, I can actually go through here and have a look at the profiles that I want to like, that looks like a man that likes it, as you can see he already likes "I attract to me unlimited abundance," as you can tell law of attraction, he's loving it, so I'll go ahead and follow that. You just go down and start searching for people, that looks great, no maybe not, I might take that one off, and then we go through all different ones and you can start following people just like this. What that does, why follow over a like on a photo, when someone, you know, most people that have an account don't have that many people, as you can see this person only has 34 followers. If I press follow, the likelihood of them following me back is very high, or at the very least, looking at my profile.
All right guys, so that's how you do that, and there's another way of doing it, and what you're going to do is go back into here and go to hashtags, so law of attraction specialist. I would actually stay away from "law of attraction," it's massive, you can do it, but it's hard to find distinct users that may want to see what you're doing, so I'd like to go into something like this, and what you can actually do is see what you enjoy and you can actually go ahead and like it. When you find a really cool one, what I like to do is, if you see a lot of likes, I probably wouldn't go ahead and click on follow, I'd just note it's a cool profile and I like to look at it, but generally I'll show you exactly an idea. If I go here, let's have a look, this person has just retweeted a post from that page that I was just on, and she only has 16 likes.
The likelihood of her having a lot of followers is low. I would estimate she'd have under 100 to 200 followers. Let's have a look here, she has a couple of followers. But you know what, she's posting about this and she may be looking for a way to connect with you and find the value in what you're trying to share. We always want to make sure that we're leading with the value. Okay guys, so making sure that when you're thinking about adding someone, it's going to be, why do you want them to resonate with you? Why do you think they're going to resonate with you? Do you think they want to connect with you?
Okay, look, you can go through and start liking things like this, just be careful. I wouldn't go and like things like that too quickly. But I did say that you can like up to 160 photos an hour, and you can go and follow up to 160 people an hour. So I want you guys to really think about your niche market and get into it, get into the nitty gritty. Find some really small posts, I really like this one. "Law of Attraction Coach," I love this one, look how much better these are. As soon as you go down in the amount of hashtags, you're generally going to get higher quality people to look at, so keep that in mind.
Again, when I mentioned before, when you can put in your, up at the top where I put workshop.justinsmovement.com, you can put in your link, so make sure that you can add your domain to your link, and make sure you take the most value out of it, and only put it in your value posts and also business posts. I wouldn't put it in personal posts, because this is personal, you want people to resonate with you and not feel like they're being hounded by a marketer every day of the week.
All right, so next up, we're going to go through apps for your phone. Instagram is completely done on your phone, we will talk about a few things off your phone, but to start off with we're just going to go through stuff on your phone. All right, Word Swag, we're going to go through Word Swag and Square Ready today and just touch on the other ones. A product disclaimer: there's no affiliations with any of the products that I'm using here, so just make note of that. I don't have any affiliate links, nor does any company, nor does our company have an affiliate with them either. So just make note of that.
All right, so we're going to go straight into Word Swag. And for a photo like this, I made this myself in Word Swag, very, very simple, and I'll show you a quick couple of tips on how you can make amazing photos and amazing quotes. Plenty of apps hanging around here, so these are a few of my apps I've got, feel free to copy them. So I've got these ones here, and then I've also got the ones on my page just here, so you guys are more than welcome to have a look at them. We're just going to go into Word Swag to start off with, and I'm going to show you guys exactly how this is used.
All right, so click on here, we're just going to do something quite simple, we're going to edit this. I'm just going to type in a quick quote. You can actually use stuff over here, these are able to be used, the classics, you can just start tuning through these, there's plenty of stuff that you can use. I generally go for my own, you just think of them, or you can just jump on Google and find some quotes. Make sure that if you are using a quote by a certain user or certain author that you do credit the quote. If it's unknown, you don't have to put unknown, but just keep that in mind, if a quote is someone else's, you should be stating that.
So I can put in a quote something like, "The next 24 hours are the most important," something simple. I can change the color here, red, and then I can make it really cool like this, I want this one. Okay, so then what you do, you move that up, and what I'm going to do here is press done. Okay, a trick here is to go back and kind of watermark your own photo, so if someone ever reposts it, your link's always going to be there. So what do I do? I go back into Word Swag and I put your website, I'm going to put that down there. I can make that maybe black, I can change the style, like that, you can make it a bit smaller possibly, and we are good to go. So you can press done there, and it's literally just going to save straight to your phone, and you can upload that straight away to Instagram. You can also use your own photos by clicking on this, and I can just simply take a photo like that, and it's going to bring it over here, you can actually word-swag over the top of it, as you can see. Obviously I'm not going to use this photo.
But yeah, Square Ready. So a lot of people, when they take photos, they don't think about Instagram when they take them, they just take photos and have them in their camera, and they can't figure out a way to square them. But because Instagram is square, you can only fit in, say, a 200 by 200 photo, I think it's 160 by 160, I'm pretty sure. And a great app to be able to use any photo that you're looking to do is Square Ready, so you don't need to have your photo squared already. You can simply come into here, and, while I've taken a photo, for example, I took a photo of my office today, and it's not, you know, look at it, it's all over the place, so I can just simply click like this, so there we go, or I can make it a cool little square like that, anything that you want. And I can just go and simply save this, or I can post it straight to Instagram, so that's saved now. And then if I want to post this on Instagram, I could go like this and post it.
And maybe it hasn't done it yet, let that end go, hasn't done it, Instagram, let's save this. And then we can get on with some more fun stuff. Done, cool, let's get this up, so then, an office for the day. Office for the day, name this location. Now generally I wouldn't recommend naming this location, because it is office day, because it is a value post, a quote post, or a personal post as such as well. So I'm just going to post that. And now it's on here, and it looks pretty cool, squared off. Look, you can see everything sort of beach in the background, it's a cool photo.
So make sure that you are getting pretty cool photos on there, that's what Instagram is about, getting cool photos on there. There's some other, Canva, web browser, look it up, Canva.com, it could actually be .au, it's an Australian company, but I don't know, I'm not going to go into it right now, but you can use it for any social media platform, it's basically like the easiest web design thing in the world. Just use it, it's amazing, I use it for everything. Generally not for Instagram anymore, because I like to just do it all from my phone, but I'll show you why you could actually do everything from your computer. So Canva for your computer, you actually can't upload Instagram stuff from your computer, but I will give you another option how to do this right away.
All right, so next up, we're on to picture automation. All right guys, so we're going to go to Instapload. So Instapload is an app on your iPhone, I think it's also readily available on Android, don't hold me to it, I know it used to be, but Instapload is a bit of a funny one, it's not my favorite, and again there's no affiliation with this product, but Instapload allows you to upload up to eight photos at a time to eight different accounts, and we're going to get into being able to create different accounts and why it's so cool. So for example, for me, I'm a keen traveler, I love law of attraction, so I'd have two different Instagram accounts, one focusing on law of attraction, one focusing on travel.
As you guys saw in my photos, I could actually post the same type of photo on both of these accounts. As I mentioned earlier, we use law of attraction, so all I'm simply doing is showing my life to the world, and it doesn't matter if I'm in the travel niche or the law of attraction niche, they're both going to be explaining what my life is. Occasionally I'll have more of a travel pic on my travel account, and occasionally I'll have a law of attraction quote on my law of attraction account, but generally I'll post similar photos across the accounts. And Instagram is great for that, because it means that I can pop into my accounts a couple of times a day and upload my photos, I don't even have to touch Instagram for that guys. So it's pretty cool, so I'd recommend getting it.
But a word of warning, if you're going to have eight accounts, do not post eight photos to eight accounts at one time, you are going to get your accounts shut down, be very careful about this. I would do three, maximum four, at once. If you're going to use the same photo across three or four accounts, you can, just be careful. I do max three accounts, I run a fair few accounts now, and I'm able to generate leads daily from all these accounts, and I do it on the automation process. So Instapload is a great little tool that you can use to start doing that.
Another one is called www.onlypult.com, again this is from your computer, so you could easily use Canva, and you could also use OnlyPult to just do Instagram. You could actually post from OnlyPult, you can actually schedule your posts, so you can schedule for days, weeks in advance. Occasionally I use OnlyPult, and on a Sunday night I'll actually set up all my posts for seven days. Done, don't touch Instagram for a week for posting photos, I'll actually just go in and do my random likes and that kind of thing.
Okay guys, so next up we're going to go into outsourcing. So this is when you get over a few accounts, you can only create five accounts from your phone, so I wouldn't recommend going over five accounts. Find five different niche markets that you want to use, and by all means go for it, but it will take a bit of work, and that's why I've decided to outsource some of my work. And you can do this on different websites like eLance and Upwork and Fiverr and those kind of websites, and I'll let you guys check them out yourselves, because everyone's a bit differential about this.
It works very well, and you can actually get marketing coordinators to take up your work, where you can give them designated niches to tap into, designated hashtags to tap into, and you can give them limits to like, follow, and comment on a daily basis. It's quite cheap, and it's a great source to use to outsource some of your work. You cannot go across five or six accounts and comment and like on 160 people per hour, it's just ridiculous. I used to try that kind of stuff in the beginning, and it would take hours per day. Now I'm down to like half an hour a day on my Instagram accounts, and that's through multiple channels. So certainly look at that as time goes on, but I would recommend doing it yourself for the first few accounts to make sure that you are on top of things.
All right, so what I want to go through next is direct messaging, it's an important part of what we do. So I'm going to get my phone back on here, and something that a lot of people actually don't know is what direct messaging is. So I'm in my Law of Attraction account here, and direct messaging is just like a Facebook message or a Twitter message or something like that, it's quite personal, because not many people know how to use it, and when one pops up on their system they're like, "Wow, that's cool, this guy's trying to contact me personally." So I get all random, we're going to go up here, I get a few random people contacting me, and what I'm going to do, I'm just going to show you exactly how to do it, and we want to be really warm for this.
So what I actually do is simply just put a "thanks for the follow," I created this inside of Word Swag, "thanks for the follow," and then a follow-up with my Facebook page. You can put that to your blog, you can put that to your personal Facebook page, be wary, you'll get a crap load of Facebook adds, so I had to take one off. And simply keep it warm, keep it valuable. What you want to do here is hustle, you want to be able to hustle people, you want to be able to build relationships, not hustle on the end that you throw stuff at them, hustle on the end that you build relationships. As we know, cold marketing towards a market like this is not going to work, everyone out there does it, let's be different, let's be above them and make sure that our marketing is perfect to a T.
So what I'm going to do here, okay, "thanks for the follow, hope to see you around the world somewhere. Abundance. Wishing you a life of abundance." Very, very simple, press okay. I will not share any kind of product in here, this will have someone click on your account. Okay, only do one at a time, when you see people go one, two, three, four, five, they're all going to see that you're posting it to all these people at once. Do one at a time guys, do one at a time, and press send, and you can simply go in, copy and paste, and send it to a few a day. So it's up to you how you want to do that.
As you can see, I've actually just tested this a bit before, already got a reply back, and I go and follow her now, and she's already interacted with me, and I can actually start a conversation here, start the hustle, start the real work, start working like we are taught in marketing, to build relationships, and never sell a product to them, let them want to know what you're about. So just keep that in mind guys, I find direct messaging probably the number one tool on Instagram. Inside of Instagram, obviously we've got a lot of tools outside as well, with the apps, the outsourcing, that kind of thing.
But yeah, that's about it today guys, I'm not really going to close up on too much, but to really get into Instagram guys, as I mentioned, there's 300 million active users per month, sorry, got that one wrong. But make sure you get into this and use these methods that I've been able to use to attract between two and five leads free per day, per account. So you certainly will be able to get a few leads a day on one account. So as long as you follow my procedures, follow my tools, and make sure that you are active on Instagram daily, making sure that you are following, you are liking, you are commenting, and you are direct messaging in your niche market, then you will be fine.
So thanks so much guys, and hopefully I'll see you guys around the world somewhere as well, maybe at one of our next events. Thanks guys.
