Empower Network is a publishing company. It runs a blogging platform, it trains people to use it, and it is in the middle of handing back the courses its members already paid for years ago.
Here is the plain version of where it came from and where it stands now.
Founded 2011, Collapsed 2017, Relaunched 2026
David Wood founded Empower Network on October 31, 2011. It grew fast. Within a few years it had done tens of millions of dollars in a single year and reached members in countries he had never set foot in. Then, in 2017, it collapsed. The partnership behind it ended, the money ran out, and the company shut down. If you were a member back then, you already know how that felt. If you weren’t, the short version is this: something that was working stopped working, fast, and a lot of people got hurt in the fall. We don’t shorten that story to make it comfortable. David never let the domain go. In 2026 he relaunched Empower Network as a new company, operating under the name and the conviction that built it the first time, with one rule added this time: give back what people already paid for before asking anyone for anything new.
What This Company Makes
Three things, in this order:
- A blogging platform. Hosting, a fast theme, and the SEO basics handled, so a member can publish daily without fighting the tools.
- Training. Weekly sessions and an audio library on publishing, traffic, and the discipline of showing up daily, taught by people who are still doing the work.
- The restored course library. Every course the original company sold between 2011 and 2017 is being brought back online, and if you bought it once, you get it again free. That restoration is running right now, course by course.
You are not the first person to wonder whether a name with this history deserves a second look. Fair question. Here’s the answer we’re building the whole relaunch around: the give-back comes first. Nobody gets asked to buy anything until the people who already paid have their access back.
Who Runs It
David Wood, the founder, runs this relaunch. He is not a silent owner and he is not hiding behind a brand. When you read a post here or watch the training, that’s him, on camera, saying what he actually believes.
