Your List Isn’t Buying? Here’s the Follow-Up Mechanism Vic Strizheus Teaches

This lesson is part of Internet Traffic Formula
The full recording is free with an account. One email gets you in.

Somebody on this call had done everything right on paper. Landing page built, traffic flowing, opt-ins coming in, follow-up emails going out on schedule. And still, nothing. He said it plainly: he was all in, he’d put in the work, and he hadn’t earned enough to prove it was working. Another caller had 550 people on her list and the same problem in a different outfit. Traffic wasn’t the issue for either of them. Vic Strizheus spent most of this Q&A explaining why, and the answer had almost nothing to do with the traffic module they’d just paid for.

Why isn’t your list buying if you’re already emailing them?

Vic’s framing is blunt: three things make this business work, an offer, traffic, and follow-up. Most people getting stuck have only built one and a half of those. They’ve got a landing page. They’re buying clicks. But their emails are either silent or they’re a pitch every single time, and their subscribers have learned exactly what to expect from them.

That’s the part he leans on hardest. He calls it conditioning, and it runs both directions. Pitch every third email like clockwork and your list stops opening the third one. Never pitch at all and you never make a sale. Send nothing but quotes and feel-good filler and it gets old fast. The list is watching a pattern, whether you meant to teach them one or not.

How you condition your list is how your list will respond to you.

He compares it to dating. You don’t lead with the ask. You show up, you’re interesting, you bring something useful, and you do that a few times before you ever bring up the thing you’re selling. And he’s blunt about where the money in this business actually comes from: the follow-up. Not the landing page. Not the first click. The relationship you build with the people who already said yes to hearing from you.

What does a follow-up email actually look like?

He gets specific here, which is the part worth stealing directly. Write to your list the way you’d write to a friend, not a prospect. Short. One idea per email, not a lecture. Don’t over-teach and don’t over-complicate a simple thing. Say thank you for being a subscriber, hand over one useful thing, and stop.

The ratio matters more than people think. As Vic Strizheus puts it, “I personally keep my ratio to about, you know, 3 to 1, maybe 4 to 1.” Three or four emails of pure value for every one that asks for anything. Skip that discipline and the list starts treating every message from you like a pitch, which means they stop reading any of them.

A few of the smaller moves he mentioned, the kind that are easy to skip and expensive to skip:

  • Write like you’re talking to one person, not broadcasting to a list of numbers in an autoresponder.
  • Shoot video when you’re actually comfortable on camera. A stiff, wooden delivery is its own kind of message.
  • In the early days, give people a way to reach you directly. Vic said he used to put his own phone number in his emails when he was starting out, precisely because nobody else was doing it.
  • Ask your list questions. Survey them. Let them talk back. A list that only ever hears from you one direction stops feeling like a relationship.

What happens when you actually commit to showing up?

Vic told the story of a woman on his team, new to the business, who spent her first several months barely making anything. Same offer everyone else on the team was promoting. Same traffic sources. What changed was one decision: she started a Google Hangout every single week, told her list about it every Sunday, and showed up whether five people joined or fifty. She committed to learning something new to bring back and teach every week, and she kept doing it after most people would have quietly stopped. Within months she was showing up on the leaderboard. Not because the mechanics changed. Because she gave her list a reason to keep expecting something from her.

Vic’s advice to anyone with a small list and no big following is almost aggressively simple: set up a free call line, tell your subscribers this isn’t for everybody, frame it as something close to invitation only, and show up and deliver even if two people join instead of two hundred. He put it this way on the call: “Nothing for sale, nothing to buy. In fact, leave your wallet in a different room.” The point of the call is never the pitch. It’s proof that you’re actually there, week after week, for the people who opted in.

None of this works as a one-time push. It works because a list that gets conditioned to expect real value starts opening every email you send, and the sale, when it finally comes, doesn’t feel like an ambush to anyone on the other end.

This session covers a lot more ground than follow-up alone, from how Vic tracks and rotates his own landing pages to what he actually tests before trusting a new traffic source. Watch the full Q&A free when you Create your free account.

All right, all right. Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. How are you guys doing? Hopefully, we are good to go here.

Welcome, everybody. My name is Vic Streisand, just in case you don't know. Maybe you forgot or something. It's been a long time.

It's been a week. I hope you guys are doing awesome. I am excited to be back with you all. This is Q&A number two, week number two.

What we are going to do is, here's what we're going to do, guys. We are going to jump straight into the answering of the questions because we have, when I checked, let me take a look here real quick. Last time I checked, we had… 261 questions.

When I saw that, I'm like, my goodness, this is going to take us a long, long, long time to go through that. But it's good. We had some really good questions that came up. We're just going to fly through them.

I think this format is going to be good. Let me just make sure you guys can hear me okay. Make sure that you guys can see me. Okay, we are live.

Perfect. Thank you very much. We have almost 1,000 people in the room. Hey, folks.

Hey, folks. I realize it's Good Friday, and for a lot of you guys, if you're overseas, you're already celebrating all that good stuff. We are going to keep this down to an hour. We're going to keep these calls to an hour.

They are recorded, so if you want to watch them through again, you'll be able to watch them through again. As far as recordings, Harass Corporate. Don't ask me for the recordings. They, Empower Network is going to be posting them in the back office.

That's that. Speaking of Easter, Happy Easter. If you're celebrating Easter, Happy Easter. Have a great Easter.

Hang around with your family, whatever you're doing. Cool. Let me do this right now. Here's what I'll do.

I'll go through. I'll go through questions in the order that they came in at. If you just submitted a question like two seconds ago, then if we get to your question, great. If not, I'm just going to answer as many of these as I can, and we're going to go quickly.

The cool thing about Q&A format is a lot of times when you just hear other people asking questions, and the answers to those questions, a lot of times you will learn more from just listening to the answers than you will by just watching somebody teach something on a particular topic. Make sense? Hopefully, this will serve you guys really well. Here is the first question.

I don't have the name because it's anonymous questions. I don't really know who submitted them, but the survey went out to people who purchased Internet Traffic Formula. The first question is, when will ITF reopen for marketing again? The answer is, at this point in time, I have no idea.

Empower Network will be making an announcement about that. That's the best I can tell you at this point. Probably, if I had to guess, maybe, shoot, I don't even know. Maybe a couple of months or so, we might have another group of students come in.

All right, second question. When will ELPP? And that stands for Easy Landing Page Pro, have any frequently asked questions or service? Okay, it has been impossible to use with any hosting company besides HostGator from the comments on the training.

That would be correct. ELPP, at this time, it's integrated with HostGator. It's not integrated. It's integrated with a company.

I think if a hosting company has a cPanel, then you can use it. If it doesn't have a cPanel, then you cannot integrate it. It's not integrated with that hosting, but there will be more hosting companies. The goal is, eventually, obviously, to have it be integrating with all of the hosting companies that's out there, all the major ones, anyways.

I am all in on Empower Network, have not earned 200 US dollars yet, where am I going wrong, please help me. Okay. I'm a person who just got started, haven't earned any money yet, haven't earned 200 dollars yet, what am I doing wrong? What are you doing wrong?

I would like to ask you, what are you doing, first of all, okay? So, here's really what you need to understand, okay? So, when you're building, when you're marketing your business, it comes down to three things, okay, three things. You need an offer, you need traffic, okay, and you need to follow up with the traffic.

You need to follow up with your opt-ins, okay? So, when I just say traffic, I automatically assume that you're sending that traffic to your landing page, okay? If you're not sending traffic to your landing page, you're just, you're doing this to your business, okay, don't ever do that. Always send traffic to your landing page.

You're capturing that lead, okay, and then you have a follow up sequence with them. Let me, it's a really good question, actually, I want to expand on it just a little bit, because I know it's going to help a lot of people, especially if they're just getting started. The, you will, you will make money a lot of times on the front end just by driving traffic to your squeeze page and then just, you know, whoever converts after they opted in immediately, right, on that thank you page, which is, you know, typically your sales page, whatever you're promoting.

You will, you know, you will make a little bit of money on the front end. Don't expect a lot of conversions on the front end, okay? I'm just going to tell you. If you're promoting an offer, that is…

You know, pretty popular, okay? If you're promoting something that is everywhere, okay, and a lot of people are promoting it, think about it. Your goal as a marketer, okay, you need to, first of all, outsmart, outsmart might be a wrong word to use here, but don't think of yourself as, you know what, I'm just another affiliate, okay? You've got to think of yourself as, you know what, I'm just going to learn this game and I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I want to be the best.

I want to be the best. I want to be the best at my craft, okay? If you approach this business from that mindset, okay, I want to be the best at doing this, okay? And I'm going to do whatever I got to do to become the best, okay?

If you think of yourself as, I'm just another marketer who's just, who's trying to make it, right? You know, if you, it's like driving that car, guys, okay? You know, when I was, when I was teaching my girlfriend at the time, my current wife, right? You know, how to drive a car, okay?

Stick shift. For the first time, I mean, the car was in control, okay? I mean, she was like, I mean, she, she did not feel the car. She, I mean, the car was controlling the driver, you know what I'm saying?

I mean, the car would go this way, the driver was like, oh my goodness, I cannot control this thing, okay? How do you drive a car? You drive a car by controlling the car, right? How do you drive your business?

How do you, how do you get good at business? Well, first of all, you've got to, you know, first of all, you know, sometimes in the beginning, the business is going to… It's going to go wherever it's going to go and you're like, you know, sometimes you might feel like, you know, it's out of your hands. That's normal, okay?

You just have to understand that. It's normal, okay? Just like any, any new thing that you're learning, okay? The main thing is don't give up, okay?

When, when my wife or current wife at that time, girlfriend, you know, when she was learning how to drive a car and if she would give up, right? If she was just saying, oh, you know, I can never learn this. I can never learn how to do this. She would never drive a car, okay?

A lot of people fail in this business. Be simple. Simply, biggest reason is just they just give up too soon, okay? So what do you need to succeed?

You need to have a landing page for what you're promoting, okay? That's number one. You need to approach it from a mindset, you know what? You need to be aware of what's going on, okay?

Some things that you will experience, some things that you will, you know, that you'll probably run into as you're building your business. And what are those things? Well, first of all, you are going to run into some frustrations, okay? Second of all is you are going to experience a little bit of…

You know, you might run a campaign, you might run a test, you might, you know, you might do something that's going to just bomb on you, okay? But you know what? You're also going to hit a home run, okay? And when you hit those successes, they feel so good that, you know what?

You will not allow yourself to quit if your dream is big enough, okay? And I want to encourage you to never, ever, ever, ever give up on your dream, okay? So you drive traffic to your landing page. Okay, why?

Because you want to collect that lead. You want to collect that subscriber. Your role as a marketer should be, okay, so if I'm promoting an offer and there's a lot of people promoting the same offer, how can I talk to my potential visitor that would get their attention, okay, when they see my landing page that will make them want to opt in and enter and give me their email address, okay? That's stage number one.

That's step number one. That's step number one in your marketing is how can you attract a lot of opt-ins. And I teach, you know, in Capture Mastery, right? I teach, you know, the importance of split testing different versions of landing pages.

And if you haven't watched those videos, I highly suggest you do. If you guys are posting questions, don't post questions for me in the chat because I'm only answering questions from the survey, okay? I'm not looking at the live, whatever you guys are texting there. I'm not looking at that right now.

So, you know, break this down into stages. Where is your business breaking here, okay? Your business might be, you know, if you're getting traffic but you're not getting conversions, well, your business is breaking at the point of conversion to your opt-in, okay? So you need to fix that.

How do you fix that? Just change your headline, okay? Change your layout. Do something different.

Put out a different message, okay, on your landing page to get people to opt in. If you're getting opt-ins but you're not getting sales, let's say you're getting a lot of people opt-ins, let's say, for example, if you're promoting Empower Network and you're getting opt-ins but you're not getting sales on the back end for Empower Network, well, it could be because, you know, you just, you know, I mean, the back end looks, you know, maybe people already saw the back end. Maybe they're not interested in that anymore, right?

Maybe they already saw that 10 times, right? So you as a marketer, when you see that in your business happening, how can you fix that? You can fix that by follow-up, okay? You can fix that.

You can fix that because, guys, I promote Empower Network just like you are, okay? Some of our top students on my team, you know, we're promoting Empower Network, right? So the difference between somebody who is, you know, ultra-successful and somebody who's failing to, you know, not able to make their first money on, you know, with Empower Network or with whatever you're promoting, this is not just Empower Network, obviously just an example, is follow-up, okay? How do you talk to your subscribers?

So building your list, maybe 1% or 2% of people will buy, right? Maybe, okay? Regardless if they buy on the first site of your sales page or not, that doesn't matter. Your majority of your money is going to come from your follow-up, okay, with them.

So, you know, you send out emails, you send out broadcast messages, and, you know, you just talk to them like you're talking to your best friend. You look at them, you know, a lot of people look at the list and it's just a number to them, okay, in their autoresponder. When you look at your list of subscribers, you look at them, you look at them as, you know what, these are people who, you know, you know what, I want to help these guys, okay, from that perspective. But in order for you to help those guys, you have to be a person who's going to be, you know, who will have something to give, right?

So that means that you have to become, you have to up your game, okay? If you want to make money by just trying to get other people's money, you will not have long-term success, okay? If you want to have a long-term success in this industry, in this business, guys, you have to constantly work on improving yourself as a marketer. You need to learn stuff, okay?

You need to get around and just, you know, doctors go through continuous education, right? Lawyers, I mean, every single professional, okay, in the world, they go through continued education, okay? They take classes, they up their game, they stay current on this stuff, right? You as a marketer is no different, okay?

That's why learning is so important. That's why reading is so important. That's why getting new information for you is so important. Why?

Well, part of the reason is because you will know more stuff, okay? Second reason is, you know what? The more that you know, the more that you can share with your subscribers because as subscribers come into your list, and they're probably opting into other people's list as well, and if you are sharing with them ideas that other people are not willing to share, and I'm telling you, 99% of other people, they're not sharing anything, okay? They're just slamming their list with, you know, hey, buy this, buy this, buy this, right?

When you're sharing, you know, send them a message, keep it to one idea per lesson or whatever, right? Like one idea per email or one nugget, okay? Don't try to over-teach. Don't try to over-complicate a simple thing.

Keep it very, very simple. Just say, hey, thank you for being my subscriber. I just wanted to share this with you, okay? Hope it's going to help you.

Hope it's going to serve you. Don't even worry about whether they're going to buy from you or not, okay? You know, it's kind of, it's a hard pill to swallow if you're, you know, if you're just starting out. Then, you know, you're kind of desperate for the sale.

But I promise you, I promise you, okay? If you just let go of being attached to the, you know, outcome, okay? Just don't get emotionally, don't be emotionally attached to those sales at all. And just build your business from a standpoint of, you know what?

I'm just going to provide value. I'm going to get information and I'm going to give information, right, in the form of value. What I'm learning, I'm going to share with my list. I'm going to share with my subscribers.

And I'm going to share with my subscribers. I'm going to, you know, how can you get a step closer to your subscriber? How can you out-cool your competition, okay? How can you do that?

Very simple. You send out, you know, send out an email, share an idea. Don't even pitch them anything, okay? And then I personally keep my ratio to about, you know, 3 to 1, maybe 4 to 1.

So I would send out three pieces of content, you know, and they're not like back to back, you know, like three days in a row and then boom, sales content, right? It just kind of, you know, romance them a little bit, kind of like going on a date, right? I mean, you never want to, you know, if there is a pattern in your business, right, if you condition your, conditioning is very important. This is what I learned a long time ago.

How you condition your list is how your list will respond to you. For example, if you condition your list that every third email that you send out is a pitch and you do it once, second time, third time and that's what they expect, they expect from you, okay, that third email will probably never be opened again, okay? It's conditioning. Same thing if you always send out messages saying, you know, how great you are, you know what, it gets old, okay?

If you always sending out messages just quoting other people or like quotes or whatever, right, it gets old, okay? You want to mix things up. You want to spice things up. If you go, you know, if you're going to romance, you know, you know, if you, you know, for those of you guys, for those of you guys who, you know, who, you know, were going on dates with, you know, with your wife's, you know, spouses and significant others and all that, you know what I'm talking about.

It's keep it fresh, right? Keep it new. Maybe you, you know, in this email, you just wanted to share an idea that you learned on the webinar or on a hangout, right? Maybe you read something in the book.

Just say, hey, hope this helps you. Boom, okay? Maybe next time, you know, you want to do a live hangout. Maybe you want to do a live conference call.

Just say, hey, what's your question? What's your number one problem? Like, you know, you're experiencing a problem. Okay?

You're in a business. How can I help you? Send them a survey. Let them respond to you.

It's a two-way communication. So by doing this, you know, you're engaging your list. They're responding to you and you're conditioning them, you know, to, they don't know what to expect from you. So what happens is they are waiting for your next piece to come out.

They are waiting for your next email to come out. So when that happens, when you get to that point, your email open rates are increasing, okay? So that's how you build up to, you know, 50, 60, 70 percent email open rates. That's how you build up to 50 percent email open rate because you're keeping close relationship with your list and they don't know what the next email is going to say, okay?

And so, and from time to time, yeah, you slip, you know, a sales pitch in there. But you know what? When they get your sales pitch, they feel like they owe you. You know what I mean?

And I know that's like a bad, you know, thing to say, but that reciprocity thing kicks in, right? And they don't feel like, you know, you're pitching them. They're not angry at you. They're not going to unsubscribe.

You know, some people might, you know. But for the most part, you're doing, you're marketing by just being different. Does that make sense? That's what I would really focus on is I would focus on building yourself as a marketer and then every single day say, hey, how can I serve my list today, okay?

And then people will naturally contact you. I promise you. You know, people will seek you out on Facebook. They'll reply to your emails.

One other thing that I would do is if you want to, this, I did this in the beginning. This helped me a lot too. When I was promoting a biz op back in 2005, 2006 when I got started first online, the, what I would do is in my emails, right? First of all, you write personal emails.

How would you write to a friend, right? You wouldn't write to a friend like in a very professional tone of voice. You write to a friend like, hey, check this out. Hey, I just thought you might like this.

Hey, you know, boom, check. Keep them short. Keep them very friendly, right? So.

That does a couple of things to you or to them. It makes, you know, they see you as somebody who is just, you know what, he's just like my buddy, right? So they have that friendship feeling going on that even though they don't know you but they feel like they know you, right? Maybe you can do a video, right?

Shoot a video on your iPhone or whatever and just obviously if you want to do that, if you're comfortable on video. Never shoot a video if you're not comfortable on video, okay? Shoot videos. Shoot videos to get comfortable, okay?

And but let me rephrase that a little bit, okay? I don't want to steer you guys in the wrong direction because, you know, somebody is going to say, hey, Vic told me not to shoot videos. I highly recommend doing videos, okay? Highly recommend.

I think video is not, video is how the marketing is done right now and how the marketing is going to be done in the future. Video is the king. I mean video is, if you can be, if you can get comfortable on video, you know what? You can, you'll be head and shoulders above everybody who is not on video, I promise you, okay?

Especially, you know, in the next 6 to 12 to 24 months, I'm telling you, okay? Gone are the days where people can hide behind the websites, you know? Gone are the days, I mean this is the Facebook, you know, era. This is, you know, the social media.

People want to see faces. People want to connect faces to the names and they want to know who you are. They want to feel you. They want to touch you.

You know what I mean? They want to have that relationship going on with you. They want to know what your, you know, what your style is, right, as a person. So if you're shooting a video and you're always like, the only thing that's moving is your mouth, you know, and you're like, you're like a statue, right?

That's your style. You know what? You may or may not resonate with a lot of people, right? But if you're shooting videos and you're like, you're comfortable on video, you know, I mean you talk with your arms if that's what, you know, if that's your thing is, you know, you're cool, right?

You're not, you know, your, how you feel inside when you're shooting that video is, you like, I mean, you're talking to them like you're talking to your best friend. They feel that, okay? And when they feel that, it resonates with them and they want to be closer to you, especially if you're on video because when they see you on video, okay, immediately your status, your perception, how they perceive you, elevates, okay? So maybe you can do a video and you can, you know, shoot a quick video and just say, hey, I just, I was just on this call or I was just reading this and I was just, you know, this was just going on in my life and I just wanted to share with you as my subscriber.

First of all, hey, I appreciate you. Thank you for being my subscriber. I just want to let you know I'm here for you. You know, if you have any questions, let me know, you know, shoot me a quick line or call me up, right?

And you would include your phone number, right, either in the video or you can include your phone number in the email that you sent to them. Allow them to contact you, especially if you're just getting started, okay? I did this in the very beginning. It helped me a lot.

People called me, right, and I would actually pick up my phone and they would be very surprised. They would be like, wow, Vic? You actually picked up your phone? I'm like, yeah.

You know, I gave you my phone number. So right away, that positioned me above everybody else because nobody else was doing that. Now, of course, right now, when I send out an email to my list, you know, I, there is no possible way for me to, no way I'm going to include my phone number there because my phone is going to be, you know, red hot, right? And I don't want that, okay?

But when you're just getting started, you've got to do it. You've got to do what you've got to do to build yourself up. You've got to do what you've got to do to raise yourself above the competition, to raise yourself as a marketer and start building yourself. Guys, don't depend on anybody.

Don't depend on Empower Network. Don't depend on your team sponsor. Don't depend on the system. Don't depend on anybody, okay?

You want to depend, you want me to tell you like it is or you want me to tell you what you want to hear, okay? And I'm sure Empower Network is not going to, is not, you know, I mean, they'll support me on this 100%. As a marketer, okay, you have two things. You have systems and vehicles that you use to make your money, okay?

And then you have you and you have your reputation and you have your list, make sense? So you build yourself. From the very beginning, the sooner you can do that, the faster your business is going to grow and the more money you're going to make, okay? If you want to be in this industry long term, focus on building you, okay?

Your relationship with your list, the most important thing. Sales will come guaranteed, okay? We'll move on to another question here. I know the importance of creating unique landing pages but, okay, make sure you guys are still with me here.

All right, cool. But may we please see some of your actual proven to be effective landing pages URL so we can create our own modified versions of them? Absolutely. Whoever answered that, asked that question here.

Let me, I can show, I don't have any bones about it, guys. I can show you. I can show you my landing pages here. Give me one sec here.

Let me log in. I'll show you. Actually, you know what? Hmm.

See, if I show you my landing pages, you'll see my URLs and you're going to mess up my stats. I don't want to do that. Here's what I'll tell to this person. Go watch Capture Mastery, okay?

It's a great site. It's a great page, okay, in Internet Traffic Formula Capture Mastery session. Go watch those trainings. There I show you different landing pages that I use, okay?

I believe that's in that section. I walk you through. I also show you different versions of landing pages in PPV or Penny Traffic module. So if you watch that Penny Traffic module, I also walk you through specific and show you my exact landing pages that I use for PPV.

You can model after them if you want to, okay? All right. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Let's move on here.

All right. How do I set up my rotator for different landing pages? Is there a specific service you recommend? Again, this was covered in Capture Mastery.

I recommend you watch Capture Mastery videos and everything is explained there. There's tracking and rotator. I actually show you what I use. For tracking, I use personally ClickMeter, okay?

Do you have to use ClickMeter? That's just something I use and I'll just share with you what I use. The reason I use ClickMeter is because I found them to be pretty robust for the amount of traffic that I'm driving, works for me, and they're pretty accurate. Now no tracking link or no tracking service is going to be 100% accurate.

They're all going to vary, give or take here. Plus, minus, a few percentage points, whatever. But I found ClickMeter to be pretty, pretty, pretty accurate. So I use that for tracking my clicks, okay?

And also I use quality click control for tracking my, actually for rotating my URLs, okay? So my setup is, I don't have a whiteboard here, anyway. So my setup is I have my landing page one, landing page two, landing page three links, okay? I have a tracking link for each of the landing page, okay?

Unique tracking link. And then I take those tracking links and I put them in a rotator, okay? And then I have one rotator link here, okay? So now the rotator rotates my three tracking links, not the original landing pages, but the tracking links.

Make sense? So then I know, you know, how many visitors and then I can track my opt-ins and the reason I use quality click control. A ClickMeter for tracking precisely also is because their tracking is very detailed as far as where the traffic is coming from. So for example, if I advertise, you know, if I buy traffic and it's supposed to be, you know, top five countries traffic, right?

United States, Canada, Australia, you know, New Zealand and UK, right? And I look at my tracking stats for, you know, geographical locations and I see my traffic from Indonesia and just all, you know. Okay. Third world countries, well, I know that somebody played a trick on me, right?

So now I can have, you know, I can go back to the, you know, where I got the traffic from and I say, hey, you know, I'm getting this traffic but, you know, it's from countries of people who don't speak English and I don't need that, right? I always run, I always get traffic from the top five countries, guys. Don't even go and do anything else. I mean, unless you like, unless you advertise in Russia, then obviously you want to do, you know, you want to get traffic from that country specifically but if you are marketing for an English speaking crowd, right, go after the English speaking countries.

United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Those are five top countries, okay? So yeah, so to answer your question again, I use click meter, okay, to track my, you know, clicks and get all that tracking data and then I use quality click control to rotate my stuff, okay? And there is also a discount.

I'm able to negotiate for you guys from quality click control. It sells for $247, I believe. I called up the owner of that. I'm like, hey, we got a group, you know, you know, traffic formula students.

I don't want to promote them, you know, for the full price and, you know, I know there's like affiliate commissions for recommending your stuff, you know, let's just bypass the affiliate commissions and pass the discount on to them so they can get it if they wanted to. The link is in your ITF back office, one of the modules. Okay? So you guys can save a few bucks there.

I think you can get it for a hundred and something dollars if you want to do that. There is also other tracking options available and rotating options available out there. I'm sure you can just Google it and there's many of them out there. All right, next question.

First of all, thank you for sharing all your wisdom, trials and successes so that we may benefit. You're welcome. As a brand new person with no leads. And just getting starting, starting out.

What do you suggest would be the best plan to implement? Okay? No leads, just starting out, best plan to implement. I have been watching all of it but having all still tends to, what, there is a typo or something like that.

Leave me with no plan. Could you please share? Okay, so I just, I covered a little bit of that in the beginning. Okay?

Keep it simple folks. This is a machine. Okay? A machine is a machine.

It either is going to control you or you're going to control it. Bottom line. Okay? I told you to not depend on anybody.

I told you to go out there and, you know, if you know that, you know what, you wake up in the morning, you can get your own bread, right? You don't have to depend on anybody. Well, you can eat for the rest of your life. If you know how to fish, you can eat for the rest of your life.

If you depend on somebody to bring you fish all the time, right, you know what's going to happen. So, just simplify your business. Okay? Keep it simple.

Don't look at it as a big picture kind of deal. Look at it, you chunk it down. Okay? Again, three areas you need to focus on, three.

One is traffic and that's what you're learning. That's what you guys are going through. Okay? There's going to be a lot of, you know, heck, when there is going to be traffic modules, we're going to be getting into like traffic intelligence and traffic, you know, amplifier, all that stuff.

You know? I believe the last module in this course is traffic intelligence and that is going to show you how to uncover new traffic sources so that you can literally, you can feed yourself for the rest of your life. You can uncover new gems of traffic. You can test out different sources.

How do I test out? I'll show you all that stuff, right? So make a decision. You know what?

I'm going to stick around. I'm going to do whatever I need to do. Sometimes doing our best is not enough. Okay?

I'll just tell you. Sometimes doing our best is not enough. When you're training, when you're working out, right? You know?

If you're out of shape, well, doing your best sometimes is not enough. You got to push yourself past that doing your best line. Does that make sense? You got to go a little bit deeper.

You got to go a little bit further. You know, sometimes you got to go a little bit, you know, step out of your comfort zone just a little bit further, right? You got to do what you got to do, okay? And if you're just getting started, listen, it's not going to be, you know, peaches and roses all the time in the beginning, guys.

Don't listen to anybody who's going to tell you, listen. That marketing lifestyle, man, just push a button here and money's going to come from over here and then just take that money, go, you know, live on the beach. That's possible when you do the work, okay? What nobody's talking about is actually doing the work and actually treating this thing like a business, like a real profession.

You know, this profession got screwed up, it got messed up, okay, by the so-called gurus who are promoting the lifestyle of, you know what, push button riches and do nothing and get rich tomorrow, okay? That crap is not going to work, okay? People who do that, they're broke, they're on welfare, okay? They're in debt, okay?

They're struggling. If you treat this as a profession, people who treat this as a profession, people who say, you know what, a doctor doesn't become a doctor by just dabbling. Doctor becomes a doctor by immersing himself or herself. You got to immerse yourself, okay?

You got to do what you got to do, okay? Learn traffic. Learn capture mastery, okay? Learn how the tracking works, how the conversions, how to create your landing pages.

All that is covered in capture mastery for you, okay? I want you to go through that stuff. At the end of this course, we're going to have a master session to where we're just going to, you know, heck, we can spend four hours if we need to, right? And just basically tie all the loose ends at the very end, okay?

But you learn how to create your own capture pages. Why is it important? So that you don't have to depend on anybody to give you landing pages to promote. Okay?

You can create your own landing pages. I never, ever, ever use company landing pages. Never. Why?

Because everybody's promoting those, okay? I want to be different. You know, you want to make big money, you want to be different, okay? And if you're just getting started, maybe you need to use, you know, what your team is doing or maybe what the company is providing.

But at the same time, you start playing around with doing something of your own, okay? That's how you learn. How do you learn how to swim? You jump in the water and you do it, okay?

You don't just put your one foot in the water and say, oh, am I, how, how do you, you know, I mean, guys, just, I mean, that's it, right? So traffic, landing pages, and now you have traffic, now you have landing pages, so now you have conversions, okay? And now you are looking at your conversions and seeing what kind of conversions that you're having. If it's 20%, 30%, great, you know, 40%, whatever.

Your goal is to always beat your best converting landing page. That's why split testing is important, right? So you're always competing against it. Okay?

You're competing against yourself, not against your neighbor or against the other affiliate. You're competing against yourself, make sense? That's what I do. And then, you know, you have traffic coming in and then you just basically just think outside the box.

Just be friendly. How do you, how do you have a lot of friends around you? By you being friendly, okay? How do you make a lot of money?

By serving a lot of people, okay? Forget, abandon the mentality of, you know what, I don't want to do nothing and I want to make money. Become a servant, okay? And give away what you learn, okay?

Give, put your best foot forward. Why was, why was, why was Internet Traffic Formula Lunch so successful? Okay? It's because, you know, I gave good stuff out, right?

I didn't, I didn't keep the stuff secret, right? Why am I, you know, why am I able to make the kind of money I'm able to make? Because, you know, I don't mind sharing good information. I don't mind, you know, sharing stuff that actually works for me.

When people apply that, you know, heck, we had a lot of people come to me at the Seattle event saying, hey, you know, what you, what do you do? What I learned in free trainings for the Internet Traffic Formula pre-launch videos for free, you know, allowed me to increase my opt-in rate by, you know, 10, 20%, 30%, okay? Thank you. Free stuff works, right?

So if your people think about it, if you, when you learn an idea, when you try something out, that's why trying and actually doing stuff is important. So you don't teach from theory, you teach from actual experience, right? Totally different things. So when, imagine, you have a list of a hundred people or a thousand people.

And you give them an idea and they go out there and, you know, 20 people implement it. Not everybody's going to implement it, but 20 people implement it, right? And then, you know, half of those people get results from your free stuff that you gave away. And you know what?

Now, you can survey your list. You can say, hey, how did that go for you, okay? Let me know. And then you have these 10 people saying, hey, it was awesome.

What you do is you capitalize on that, right? You send out another broadcast to your list and you feature these people, okay? People want to be recognized, okay? You put a giant spotlight on those people that got your testimonials.

Guess what's going to happen next time? Next time you do something like that, more people will try to implement what you told them. And you know what? Subconsciously, people will be gravitated towards, you know what, they will do whatever they can do to get results so they can report the results back to you so you can spotlight them.

Does that make sense? So what you're doing is you're creating your internal momentum within your community, within your following ship in your business, okay? So now, it's like that snowball, right? Start small but then you start rolling it, rolling it, rolling it, right?

And then it gets massive. And then all of a sudden, you know, the snowball gains its momentum of its own. And before you know it, you know what? People are contacting you.

People, you're like, you know, you have to do just a little bit. In the beginning, you have to do a lot, okay? You have to do, you have to stretch yourself. You have to do, you have to step out of your comfort zone.

But as you progress, right, you don't have to do as much because now you have people who are out there talking good stuff about your stuff, right? And now they're promoting you without, you know, without you doing anything, right? They're talking about how great your stuff is. And now what you're doing is you're creating your own success stories.

That's where I'm heading the business, okay? Is my business is not about money anymore. My business is, it has never been about money. You know, initially I thought it was about money.

But then very quickly I realized, you know, I was learning from a mentor and I was just, I was just smart. I was smart enough, you know, just smart enough to learn from, you know, when my mentor was telling me to do something, I wasn't questioning. You know, I said, he said, don't focus on the money, money is the last thing you want to focus on. I said, great.

So mentally, I tricked myself, alright? I said, just money is going to come, let me just learn on, you know, what can I learn today that I can share with others? What can I learn so that I can implement and I can share with others? And I started to do that, right?

I was doing conference calls once a week and, you know, seven people showed up on the first one, you know? But I was doing that conference call, just mental tricks sometimes you have to play on yourself, right? You have to pretend like there's 5,000 people on that call and you talk with enthusiasm, man. Just like, you know, that energy that you portray, you know, is either going to attract people or is going to repel people.

And you don't want to repel people, you want to attract people, okay? So. You know, and that's how you start, right? That's how you start.

And then it kind of grew bigger and bigger and bigger and people started to contact me and I would give out my phone number and that's how I started out in the industry, right? Started making money. And then it's going to, it's going to multiply. Okay, again, next question, when will this super agency be released?

Again, I answered that. Just keep your eyes, you know, on your email or whatever. Keep your ears open. You will hear about it.

I don't know, guys, you know, maybe, you know, in the near future, hopefully. We'll see. Okay. Hi from Australia.

Do you think it's important to have your own website as an empowered network affiliate and ITF user? Thanks, Vic. Your stuff is authentic and I love you for bringing it to us. Lee Hemmings.

Lee, thank you for the comment there. I appreciate you. Okay, so the question is, do I think it's important to have your own website as an empowered, as an empowered affiliate and ITF user? Heck yeah.

I think it's important. Do you have to have it to succeed? You know, I don't want to say yes. I don't want to say that, you know, it's absolutely mandatory.

There are people who are making money without their websites, right? If you were to ask me just how I run my business, I would say go for it, you know. You can promote, you know, if you're promoting an empowered network website, promote that, okay, if you have a team website, promote that, but at the same time, build something of your own. Understand how the system works.

You don't need to understand coding. I don't know how to create, how to code a website. I don't care. You know, I don't know HTML.

I don't know how to, you know, put up a video on a site. I don't know how to, you know, how to put comments in the feed or whatever. I don't care about that stuff, okay. You know, when Ford was making, you know, the first cars.

You know, he didn't know how that thing works, right? That's what, that's why, you know, there's other people to do what you cannot do, okay. But you need to understand the strategies. That's really what you need to master, really what you need to focus on is strategies.

Understand people skills, okay. Understand how, what makes people tick, make sense? Understand what makes you tick because what I do in my promotions is I put myself, before I send out an email. Before I send out any, put up a new title.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.

So, I put myself on the other side of the fence, so to speak. And I say, okay, if I was my own prospect, forget what I know now because a lot of times we promote stuff from a, from a, looking at the things from a lens as of a marketer, right, of, of a, of somebody who's on this side of the fence. So, we know what's going on. So, we speak assuming they know what we're talking about, okay.

And that can create a, a barrier a lot of times. I want to forget. Imagine. Imagine they don't care who you are.

Imagine they don't care what you have. How can you make them interested and want to listen to you? That's my approach all the time. Every single promotion I do.

If you approach it from that angle, you'll be good. Next question. In regards to split testing three landing pages on a rotator, you would need to have three separate domain names? Not necessarily three separate domain names, depending on what you're using.

If you want to split test three different versions of landing pages, for example, if you're using something like ELPP, Easy Landing Page Pro, it allows you to create a separate landing page, same domain, just put it in a different folder. You can have the same domain, just a different folder. Or you can have different domains. If you go to Megaphone or Leadpages, obviously it's going to give you a unique UI.

It's going to give you a unique URL per landing page. Obviously, that would be different URL. Not necessarily different domains, but different URL would be more appropriate. Per landing page, that would be correct.

Next question. I have really been struggling with knowing what to do first. Could you give a step-by-step of how to begin with the process? I believe I just talked about that.

I have had four sign-ups over the past few months, but they have never continued their membership or purchased any higher products. My list is about 550 people. As of right now, I send them information, but things haven't been going like I had hoped. My question is, what kind of information do you send them, first of all?

How are you talking to them is the second thing. You have 550 people on your list. Here's the rule of thumb, folks. Take care of your list.

If you really treat your list as gold, your average dollar per subscriber is going to be anywhere from a dollar to, I'd say, $5. Now, some segments of my list, my average subscriber value, I guess, is going to be about $1. I'm not going to give you a general rule of thumb. Money-wise is upwards of $50 and $70.

I'm just talking about general. A dollar to $5 per subscriber per month is the general rule of thumb. To achieve that, what do you need to do? Well, you need to do stuff that's a little bit different.

You need to go out there. What I would recommend you do is, if you have 550 people on your list, start doing conference calls. Freeconferencecall.com. Set up yourself a free line.

Send them a message to your 550 subscribers. Say, hey, first of all, thank you for being my subscriber. Just wanted to let you know I'm doing something special. I'm doing a special training.

Nothing for sale, nothing to buy. In fact, leave your wallet in a different room. You won't need that. I just wanted to bring you value, share with you how I was able to X.

Whatever you learned, give them one hook. A hook is something that you say that will get them curious enough to show up. How to do X or how I was able to X. You know what I'm saying, right?

Give them a hook. What you're going to talk about. I learned a strategy that can potentially quadruple your subscriber rate or whatever. I'm going to share with you a strategy on how to get the most targeted leads or the most targeted traffic that you can ever get on the internet.

I'm going to share it with you for free as my subscriber. Here's what I'm going to do. What I found though, when you send out messages like that, if you make them feel like they are a part of an exclusive group, if you make them feel like it's not for everybody and it's not like you're going to go out there and you're not desperate to get a lot of people on the call, you're just sharing with them because they are your VIP subscriber and you just want to take care of them and just say, don't share this with anybody. This is an invitation only, which is true because you're inviting them.

They feel like there's going to be, it's a closed door kind of thing. Who cares if two people show up? If two people show up, you do your best. You perform the best that you can on that call.

Then you record it and then guess what? You're going to send out the recording to your 550 subscribers again and maybe four people are going to listen to it. But you know what? Those four people, next time that you send out an email, they'll pay attention to you and you never know.

One of those four people might sign up and go all in. You never know. Maybe you have to do two or three conference calls like this. Maybe one of those people is going to sign up and go all in and you make $4,000.

Whatever you're promoting, you never know. But see those four people, you focus on them as there were 4,000 people as far as your energy, as far as your enthusiasm, your optimism and just your posture as a marketer. Make sense? It's really, really going to help you.

That's how you scale. Everybody starts out small but you just take that first step and you work your butt off. Okay, so where can we find last recording? That should be posted in the back office.

I'm not sure. I will ask Mr. Travis from Empower and see if we can get that up. When is ITF going back?

Again, we talked about that. Hey Vic, thank you for giving me the possibility to completely change my life. You are welcome. I'm glad to hear that.

You are an awesome guy. So are you. www.ITF.com.ar Love you. Love you too.

Well, my question is, do you think that is better to make just a video thank you page after people opt in or to do the welcome video and a series of videos that you give them, for example, one of the traffic techniques that work like crazy today step by step and then give them another link to go check out what we have to promote? Is it better to give them content with follow-up messages or give them with basically everything on the same page? So Alexander, here's what I suggest. It's going to depend on your style.

So when somebody opts in on your landing page and they go and they opt in and they get redirected to your thank you page. And your thank you page, you're giving them some kind of lead magnet, some kind of training. If you can capture their attention long enough and if you can captivate them on video, if you can really connect with them. A lot of times when you shoot a video, you will feel if there was a connection or not with that camera, as weird as it sounds.

But sometimes we shoot a video and you know there is no connection. I mean you didn't feel the connection. It's weird to say the connection with the video camera. But if you didn't feel like you were present, if you didn't feel like you were in your zone when you were doing that video, chances are you probably did not connect with that prospect.

When I was shooting pre-launch videos for ITF, I was operating on like two hours of sleep like for weeks. So I had to be in the zone. One of the videos, I don't remember which one we shot. It was okay.

We did it. Everything was cool on the surface. But I just felt like it wasn't it. It wasn't it.

The connection just wasn't there. And the video guy didn't feel that. I felt that. And so we shot it.

We did it over again. And when you feel that, you know what, yeah this was it. And you were present. You clicked, right?

Then you know that chances are you'll probably have their attention. So if you can do that type of video, you can actually do video one, video two, video three all on the same page and just kind of say hey, step one, watch this. Step two, watch this or whatever. You know if you're someone who maybe you're just getting started and it's kind of difficult for you to hold that attention and to hold that.

But to kind of keep that enthusiasm and just kind of be yourself at the best level you can possibly be until you record all the videos. Well maybe it's better for you to release the first video and then shoot another one and send out as a follow-up a couple of days later. You never know. What I would say is go with what you think feels best and fits best for your style.

I would also split test. know see what kind of feedback you're getting on both styles there is no there is no one particular answer that would be you know fit for all kind of answer but but definitely you know definitely put yourself out there you know definitely put you know put your value out there and and your information we have a team we have a team member on my team here with empower Network a girl who started out with us I'd say like seven months ago okay and for the first four months or by the first three to four months she was she was struggling you know she was not making money I don't think she made I don't think she made you know more than maybe a couple hundred bucks okay she was struggling then all of a sudden she's on leaderboard she's on a leaderboard of empower she's on a leaderboard you know and big idea she is she is everywhere and she is and I look at her you know we have the you know we're able to see the you know the the sales and everything through API like how people perform and how they just like informational numbers and you know I mean this girl she's like 15,000 oh you know a week or a month rather excuse me 20,000 a month right next month and third month after that is like 25 28 thousand okay what she did the only thing she did and I interviewed her her name is Tatiana Torres the only difference she started or the only thing that's different that she started doing her business was she implemented a I believe it's either a webinar a Google hangout okay same thing she implemented a Google hangout every single week okay every Sunday she would email her list and she would say hey I'm doing this Google hangout show up and just hang out just talk about stuff but she committed to learning new stuff so that she can pass on new stuff to her you know listeners and so just nothing else traffic sources didn't change nothing else changed the same site same offer same everything she started to do something that other people were not willing to do in her market okay and right now she's one of our top earners okay twenty to thirty thousand plus per month okay now talking about income guys disclosures everywhere got to be compliant you know income not guaranteed it was her results you know hey your results might be 300,000 a month I don't know might be zero just got to get out there and start doing stuff okay all right let's go through a couple more questions here alright alright alright to do okay my get response is set up for double opt-in do you recommend that or should I change it double opt-in is good do I recommend double opt-in yes unless you are not seeing the results that you want okay double opt-in is always better than a single opt-in you have a cleaner list okay but you your downside is you're going to lose about 30% to 40% of your subscribers, okay?

Some of them are going to be, obviously you're going to filter a lot of the fake ones and just junk, but with that you'll probably miss maybe 15% of the actual good ones just because they just forgot who you are or whatever. So if you're getting enough traffic to where you can afford to lose that kind of percentage, right, but still have enough new subscribers coming into your list on a daily basis to where you're making money and you're turning profit, then yes, stick with it. If you're having challenges building your list in the first place, then I would stick with single opt-in.

Get as many as you possibly can. And then as you're gaining momentum, then you can turn. I am kind of experimenting with both single opt-in and double opt-in. I tend to stay with a single opt-in for myself just because I want to get as many subscribers as I can.

You know, when I do my promotion, I want my return on my investment to be as high as possible. And not every subscriber is going to have legit email, but that's just how it goes. Okay, I'm in the UK. Can I be able to register for the VIP SMS priority notification list?

If so, will I be charged? How much? Yes, you can. Will you be charged?

Yes, you will. How much? Depends on how much your carrier charges you, okay? Let me do this.

Let me log into Empower. Let me tell you guys something because I think there was about a hundred or so of you that – let me share my screen – that missed out on this. Guys, is this stuff making sense to you? I mean, is this good stuff?

You guys learning something? Let me know in the comments real quick here. What do you think? Let me know in the comments real quick.

I don't know. Okay. I'm going to log in here. Here's what's up, guys.

Okay? So, some of you, that's not going to apply to everybody. It is going to apply to some of you guys. Okay?

So, when you go here, you go to Interim Traffic Formula, right? You go Interim Traffic Formula. You go Traffic Mastery. Now, if you haven't gone through the Capture Mastery, I highly recommend go through Capture Mastery, okay?

But when you go to Traffic Mastery here, and then you go to Traffic Agencies, okay? I just want to point this out. this link right here was added I don't remember when but anyway so when it was first added when it was first added then it did not point to the right did not actually go to the right place okay where it's supposed to go is for you to register for the for the super agency it needs to take you to the registration page okay for you to enter your stuff here and register create your password okay if you if you haven't filled this out what you need to do is you need to go back and you need to refill this out okay for some of you it took you straight to hey you're confirmed blah blah blah you never actually submitted your registration you will never be in the system okay so I recommend if you did not feel you know if you didn't submit this form you need to go back you know you need to go back to the empower network and you know you need to go back to the empower network and you know click on the link and submit that form again if you want to if you want to be registered and processed cool that was a little thing that we needed to fix there all right everybody cool awesome stuff you guys are with me cool cool cool cool cool I appreciate that still learning okay I learned a lot today up now that's good that's good that's good see we'll learn every day and I learn stuff every single day all right everybody let's see if we can take on a couple more here before we wrap up I'll see if I can pull up some some some questions with some meat in them okay I wonder if if the super agency will support niches like personal development and even people who are interested in areas such as meditation yes yes there will be different niches available yep now here's the thing with with the super agency guys so with the super agency there was there is a lot of there's a lot of there's a lot of there is a lot of traffic resellers out there okay a lot of them are a lot of them a lot of them are bad a lot of them are bad I'll just I'll just tell you like it is guys there is there are some good ones though okay what the idea was well with with the super agency is you know we said how do we weed those out okay how do we weed out the bad ones from the good ones and so you know before you know before I mean how do you know which you know which data is going to convert how do you know which publisher is going to convert you can either right you can either do run a test yourself okay what I do is when I go to a new publisher when I go to a new data broker when I go to a new you know vendor or whatever data center I usually run three different tests okay I I do a test for about a thousand clicks and I say hey let me let me do a small test a thousand clicks I track the heck out of it okay opt-ins all that okay countries where the clickers are coming from if my a thousand click test goes you know satisfactory then I do another one typically for about 20,000 clicks okay and I track the heck out of that as well okay opt-ins open rates conversions you know all that stuff click through rates on my email follow-ups if that is is good then I you know I negotiate an agreement right with the the you know with that particular data center or publisher vendor or whatever and we say hey we are going to take your data right and we're gonna make it exclusively available through the super agency and so that's why that's how you know the idea is to bring that the best the the the the cream of the crop so to speak right the best of what's been proven and tested right into the super agency and so you know then when when you know when you guys get the traffic from the super from the super agency, if that's what you want to do, the idea is to get you proven stuff that actually worked and been proven.

Now it's also going to depend on your landing page, how your hook is created, what your landing page says, your follow up and all that. But at least it's been tested for you. That's kind of the idea there. And yes, there are different niches and we're constantly, constantly testing.

The test budget just for testing different vendors and publishers is $200,000 to $250,000 a month. That's just testing different things. We've got 15, 17 different campaigns going at the same time all the time. Can you walk through how to use Traffic Agency?

You will have a full tutorial on what to do when your application is processed. Submit an application. When it's processed, you get approved, you get your login. When you log in, you have a full tutorial on how to do that.

Okay, let's see. Okay, Traffic Agency stuff, Traffic Agencies, Traffic Agencies, cover that. Okay, Vic, I noticed that quality quick control. Okay.

You can track and rotate links along with providing conversion stats. Why with capital letters, then should we have one site for tracking and just only use quality quick control for rotator? You can actually use quality quick control for tracking your opt-ins as well. The reason that I want, the reason that I use click meter, right, for my tracking is because I find.

I find that to be a little bit more accurate as far as tracking your actual opt-ins and it gives me a lot more stats, like where the traffic is actually coming from, what countries, IPs, all that stuff. So a lot of times, you know, it's very useful for me, especially when I'm buying traffic for the top five countries, right, I want to know where they're coming from. And I know that quality quick control, they're always, you know, improving, they're coming out with newer versions all the time and upgrading their stuff.

So, you know. Heck, maybe they'll come up with, you know, with something that's going to be very close to quick meter and give you the same kind of stats, that would be sweet, you know. Okay. What is the best way to optimize your URLs, URL keywords in lead impact?

When to delete a URL, okay? You let it run for, you know, what I do is, what I recommend you do is you, when you start a PPV campaign, right, when you start a lead impact campaign or, you know, traffic events or direct CPV or whatever, track your stuff and look at your stats every single day, okay? Look at your stats at least 24, every 24 hours. And what you want to look for is, you go to reports, okay?

You log into your account, it's very simple, guys. Go to reports, you pull report for, for keyword, performing keywords, okay? And you take a look at the list of your keywords, URLs. Okay.

Okay. And you take a look at how many impressions each URL received, okay? And then you will know, and then it's going to tell you how many impressions, right, versus the conversion. So if you are getting tons and tons of impressions on a particular keyword URL and there is no conversions on it, well, that tells you that the URL is probably not targeted, okay?

I actually had, you know, a few people that I met at, at different events that I went to. And in different workshops and they, you know, came to me saying, hey Vic, my, you know, PPV campaign is not converting. And I'm like, get your computer out, let's take a look. So you know, we log into their, to their back office, pull up stats and sure enough, you know, I look at the keywords, there is like a hundred keyword URLs and five of them or ten of them getting like the most, like 90% of traffic.

And those keywords are like walmart.com, like, you know, it's like the most, you know, I mean, it's just not targeted at all for what they promote. Okay. And it's, it's generic, it's big and there is a lot of traffic coming to it, but they're not targeted. Okay.

So when you look at where the majority of the traffic is coming to, you know, which particular URL and then you just go to that site and see if it's a good match for what you're promoting. All right. If, if there is a match, then keep it, right? A lot of times, you know, when, if your campaign is not going well, that means that you have some URLs that are not, they're getting tons of traffic, but they're not, you know, targeted.

Okay. So I remove a URL. If I see, you know, if, if there is like, I mean, it's kind of difficult to say because it depends on, on, you know, on the conversion and, and how it stack, you know, stacks up against the other URLs. But if there is, you will see it very quickly, you know, you let it run for a day or two and then you take a look at your list of URLs, you will see the ones that will stick out like a sore, you know, like a sore thumb, you know, with a lot of data.

And then those are the ones that you look at. There, there was another question. And we're going to wrap this up here because we're actually going over time. There was another question of, of what I suggest paying for, for how do you, how do you, you know, how do you, I guess, gauge your, your conversions from PPC, right?

From, or from PPV rather, excuse me, pay-per-view. So here is my rule of thumb, okay, typically. I look at, at the end of the day, okay, I look at my cost per lead, okay? Cost per lead.

What does that mean? So if I have 5,000 impressions, okay? If I do a, a PPV campaign and I have 5,000 impressions and let's say I pay two cents per impression, okay, on average, you know, sometimes it's going to be one cent, sometimes it's going to be, you know, a cent and a half or whatever, right? So you know, I, I, I spent $100.

I take a look at how many opt-ins I got, okay? How many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many, how many opt-ins you got for that $100? I want my opt-in cost, my lead per, cost per lead to be obviously as low as possible, but I'm willing to tolerate up to $3, you know, sometimes $3.50, depends on what your process is, per opt-in, okay?

But then again, I know my backend, right? I know how much I can spend to acquire an opt-in because I know that, you know what, I'm going, I'm going to provide value to those opt-ins. I'm going to build a relationship with them. them and I know how much I'm going to earn per month for every single one of those opt-ins as an average number.

That's why guys, keeping track and knowing your business is like controlling that car that you drive. So the car doesn't control you, it's like you're not moving in blindly. You know what? You're taking the steering wheel and you're driving your business where you want it to go.

You're in control guys, don't ever let anybody control your business. Don't ever let anybody steer your business and then sit behind the steering wheel of your business. Because they're going to run into a wall or something or a tree and wreck it. You want to learn how to drive your business.

It might take you a little bit, but you know what? Take it slow. Take it easy. It's okay.

Learn it because this is a skill that is going to serve you for the rest of your life. I cannot imagine doing anything else. I don't want to do anything else. This is just too much fun.

And one time, there's going to be a day where it's going to click for you. When it clicks for you, you know what? It's like that fog is going to be lifted off your eyes and you're going to be like wow, I got it. I can actually recreate it.

I can actually duplicate my success. And that's when you will never, ever, ever, ever go back and struggle again. It's worth it guys. Take the time to learn it.

Listen, we're here. You can go through this information over and over again. If you're getting too many sources of information, if you're getting too much conflicting information, maybe you need to filter the information and just go with the stuff that you really resonate with. But at the end of the day, stick in the game.

Stay in the game. Do this. Decide that you know what? I'm going to be the best no matter what.

I'm going to depend on myself. I'm going to learn the business. Really you need to learn three things. Traffic, creating capture pages and following up.

That's it. Really, that's really it. Three things you need to learn. Traffic is simple.

Creating capture pages, give it a little bit of practice. You'll get it. I mean, you'll get it. Learn people skills.

How to win friends and influence people. Read that book. Let me share with you some good books here I've got here on my shelf. One sec here.

I'll share with you guys a few of them. I'll give you guys a few good ones here. The book on influence, I got them on site here guys. I'll share with you guys here some of my books here.

There are good ones. These will get you started. All right, these will get you started right here. I got a bunch of books.

Most of my books are on my iPad. But here, how to win friends and influence people. This is all about dealing with people. Checking out the best in people, right here.

This book, highly recommend you read that. Another one, this one right here, Signs of Getting Rich. Highly recommend you read that one. The movie The Secret that is the world's phenomena, again, it opened, it brought a lot of awareness to people but it also made a lot of people slack off a lot just by thinking, hey, I'm just going to do nothing.

Just kind of visualize. This one is going to fall from the tree and everything but it doesn't happen so people get discouraged. But that movie was inspired by this book. Read that.

Another one is called Success. Success, simple little book. The Glenn Beck Method, how to set goals and make plans that really work. I mean, cool, cool, easy to read, good stuff.

Bottom line is this. This business is about people. It's not about, guys, it's not about systems. What is system?

It's a way for you to communicate your message on the automated way. Who are you communicating the message to? People. You want to make money.

Where is the money going to come from? Think about it. Where is your money going to come from? People.

You're selling stuff. Who are you selling stuff to? People. Every single thing comes down to people.

There was one thing that you needed to get rid of. There was one thing that you were really, really good at and really, really understand and never, ever leave to chance. That would be learning about people. Learning human psychology, what people respond to, how people operate, what makes them tick.

Not like organs and stuff like that, but really psychology of people. Human behavior. That's the kind of stuff that when you learn, you know what? You'll understand.

You'll understand how to create your hooks, how to create your angles, how to connect with people better, how to deal with people. Guys, learn that stuff and traffic. What is traffic? It's learning how to get people to your offers.

How do you get people to your offers? You put out a message that's compelling enough out there in the marketplace when people, see this word people keeps coming back, isn't it? When people see your message and it's compelling enough because you understand how people work, not your marketing. You understand your business or whatever.

You understand how people work, right? You put that message that's compelling to people and then people see your message and then they come to your site and then they go through your funnel and then they give you money by buying stuff, right? You follow up with them. It's all about people, folks.

This is the people's business. Learn everything you can about people and everything you can about driving traffic, creating those landing pages, communicating with people. Guys, you are going to crush it. I appreciate you.

Have a happy Easter. Bye. I had fun hanging out with you all and I hope you guys got a nugget or two here tonight. Until next time, have a good day, good afternoon and have a great week.

Make today the best day you have ever had because you deserve it. See you guys next time. Bye.

Last time I checked, we had...

261 questions.

You will make money a lot of times on the front end just by driving traffic to your squeeze page and then just whoever converts after they opted in immediately, right, on that thank you page, which is typically your sales page, whatever you're promoting. You will make a little bit of money on the front end. Don't expect a lot of conversions on the front end, okay? I'm just going to tell you.

If you're promoting an offer that is pretty popular, okay, if you're promoting something that is everywhere, okay, and a lot of people are promoting it, think about it. Your goal as a marketer, okay, you need to, first of all, outsmart, outsmart might be a wrong word to use here, but don't think of yourself as, you know what, I'm just another affiliate, okay? You've got to think of yourself as, you know what, I'm just going to learn this game and I want to be the best.

I want to be the best. I want to be the best at my craft, okay? If you approach this business from that mindset, okay, I want to be the best at doing this, okay? And I'm going to do whatever I got to do to become the best, okay? If you think of yourself as, I'm just another marketer who's just trying to make it, right?

You know, it's like driving that car, guys, okay? When I was teaching my girlfriend at the time, my current wife, right, how to drive a car, okay, stick shift, for the first time, I mean, the car was in control, okay?

I mean, she was like, I mean, she did not feel the car. I mean, the car was controlling the driver, you know what I'm saying? I mean, the car would go this way, the driver was like, oh my goodness, I cannot control this thing, okay? How do you drive a car? You drive a car by controlling the car, right?

How do you drive your business? How do you get good at business? Well, first of all, you've got to know that sometimes in the beginning, the business is going to go wherever it's going to go and you're like, sometimes you might feel like it's out of your hands. That's normal, okay?

You just have to understand that. It's normal, okay? Just like any new thing that you're learning, okay? The main thing is don't give up, okay? When my wife, or current wife at that time, girlfriend, was learning how to drive a car and if she would give up, right?

If she was just saying, oh, I can never learn this, I can never learn how to do this, she would never drive a car, okay? A lot of people fail in this business. Be simple.

Simply, biggest reason is just they just give up too soon, okay? So what do you need to succeed? You need to have a landing page for what you're promoting, okay? That's number one. You need to approach it from a mindset, you know what?

You need to be aware of what's going on, okay? Some things that you will experience, some things that you'll probably run into as you're building your business. And what are those things? Well, first of all, you are going to run into some frustrations, okay? Second of all is you are going to experience a little bit of...

You might run a campaign, you might run a test, you might do something that's going to just bomb on you, okay?

And I teach, in Capture Mastery, right?

I teach the importance of split testing different versions of landing pages.

Your business might be, if you're getting traffic but you're not getting conversions, well, your business is breaking at the point of conversion to your opt-in, okay? So you need to fix that. How do you fix that?

Just change your headline, okay? Change your layout. Do something different. Put out a different message, okay, on your landing page to get people to opt in. If you're getting opt-ins but you're not getting sales, let's say you're getting a lot of people opt-ins, let's say, for example, if you're promoting Empower Network and you're getting opt-ins but you're not getting sales on the back end for Empower Network, well, it could be because, you know, the back end looks, maybe people already saw the back end.

Some of our top students on my team, we're promoting Empower Network, right? So the difference between somebody who is ultra-successful and somebody who's failing to not able to make their first money with Empower Network or with whatever you're promoting, this is not just Empower Network, obviously just an example, is follow-up, okay? How do you talk to your subscribers? So building your list, maybe 1% or 2% of people will buy, right?

Maybe, okay? Regardless if they buy on the first site of your sales page or not, that doesn't matter. Your majority of your money is going to come from your follow-up, okay, with them. So, you send out emails, you send out broadcast messages, and you just talk to them like you're talking to your best friend. You look at them, a lot of people look at the list and it's just a number to them, okay, in their autoresponder.

When you look at your list of subscribers, you look at them as, you know what, these are people who, you know what, I want to help these guys, okay, from that perspective. But in order for you to help those guys, you have to be a person who's going to be, who will have something to give, right?

They're just slamming their list with, hey, buy this, buy this, buy this, right? When you're sharing, send them a message, keep it to one idea per lesson or whatever, right? Like one idea per email or one nugget, okay?

Don't try to over-teach. Don't try to over-complicate a simple thing. Keep it very, very simple. Just say, hey, thank you for being my subscriber. I just wanted to share this with you, okay?

Hope it's going to help you. Hope it's going to serve you. Don't even worry about whether they're going to buy from you or not, okay? It's kind of a hard pill to swallow if you're just starting out. Then you're kind of desperate for the sale.

But I promise you, I promise you, okay? If you just let go of being attached to the outcome, okay? Just don't get emotionally attached to those sales at all. And just build your business from a standpoint of, you know what? I'm just going to provide value.

I'm going to get information and I'm going to give information, right, in the form of value. What I'm learning, I'm going to share with my list. I'm going to share with my subscribers. How can you get a step closer to your subscriber?

How can you out-cool your competition, okay? How can you do that? Very simple. You send out an email, share an idea. Don't even pitch them anything, okay?

And then I personally keep my ratio to about, you know, 3 to 1, maybe 4 to 1. So I would send out three pieces of content, and they're not like back to back, like three days in a row and then boom, sales content, right? It just kind of, you know, romance them a little bit, kind of like going on a date, right? I mean, you never want to, if there is a pattern in your business, right, if you condition your, conditioning is very important. This is what I learned a long time ago.

How you condition your list is how your list will respond to you. For example, if you condition your list that every third email that you send out is a pitch and you do it once, second time, third time and that's what they expect from you, okay, that third email will probably never be opened again, okay? It's conditioning. Same thing if you always send out messages saying how great you are, you know what, it gets old, okay? If you always sending out messages just quoting other people or like quotes or whatever, right, it gets old, okay?

You want to mix things up. You want to spice things up. If you're going to romance, for those of you guys who were going on dates with your wives, spouses and significant others and all that, you know what I'm talking about. It's keep it fresh, right? Keep it new.

Maybe in this email, you just wanted to share an idea that you learned on the webinar or on a hangout, right? Maybe you read something in the book. Just say, hey, hope this helps you. Boom, okay? Maybe next time, you want to do a live hangout.

Maybe you want to do a live conference call. Just say, hey, what's your question? What's your number one problem? You're experiencing a problem. Okay?

You're in a business. How can I help you? Send them a survey. Let them respond to you. It's a two-way communication.

So by doing this, you're engaging your list. They're responding to you and you're conditioning them, so they don't know what to expect from you. So what happens is they are waiting for your next piece to come out. They are waiting for your next email to come out. So when that happens, when you get to that point, your email open rates are increasing, okay?

So that's how you build up to 50, 60, 70 percent email open rates. That's how you build up to 50 percent email open rate because you're keeping close relationship with your list and they don't know what the next email is going to say, okay? And so, from time to time, yeah, you slip a sales pitch in there. But you know what? When they get your sales pitch, they feel like they owe you.

You know what I mean? And I know that's like a bad thing to say, but that reciprocity thing kicks in, right? And they don't feel like you're pitching them. They're not angry at you. They're not going to unsubscribe.

Some people might, you know. But for the most part, you're doing, you're marketing by just being different. Does that make sense? That's what I would really focus on is I would focus on building yourself as a marketer and then every single day say, hey, how can I serve my list today, okay? And then people will naturally contact you.

I promise you. People will seek you out on Facebook. They'll reply to your emails. One other thing that I would do is if you want to, this, I did this in the beginning. This helped me a lot too.

When I was promoting a biz op back in 2005, 2006 when I got started first online, what I would do is in my emails, right? First of all, you write personal emails. How would you write to a friend, right? You wouldn't write to a friend like in a very professional tone of voice. You write to a friend like, hey, check this out.

Hey, I just thought you might like this. Hey, boom, check. Keep them short. Keep them very friendly, right? So.

That does a couple of things to you or to them. It makes them see you as somebody who is just, you know what, he's just like my buddy, right? So they have that friendship feeling going on that even though they don't know you but they feel like they know you, right? Maybe you can do a video, right? Shoot a video on your iPhone or whatever and just, obviously if you want to do that, if you're comfortable on video.

Never shoot a video if you're not comfortable on video, okay? Shoot videos. Shoot videos to get comfortable, okay? And but let me rephrase that a little bit, okay? I don't want to steer you guys in the wrong direction because somebody is going to say, hey, Vic told me not to shoot videos.

I highly recommend doing videos, okay? Highly recommend. I think video is how the marketing is done right now and how the marketing is going to be done in the future. Video is the king. I mean video is, if you can get comfortable on video, you know what?

You can, you'll be head and shoulders above everybody who is not on video, I promise you, okay? Especially in the next 6 to 12 to 24 months, I'm telling you, okay? Gone are the days where people can hide behind the websites, you know? Gone are the days, I mean this is the Facebook era. This is the social media.

People want to see faces. People want to connect faces to the names and they want to know who you are. They want to feel you. They want to touch you. You know what I mean?

They want to have that relationship going on with you. They want to know what your style is, right, as a person. So if you're shooting a video and you're always like, the only thing that's moving is your mouth, and you're like a statue, right? That's your style. You know what?

You may or may not resonate with a lot of people, right? But if you're shooting videos and you're comfortable on video, I mean you talk with your arms if that's what your thing is, you're cool, right? Your, how you feel inside when you're shooting that video is, you're talking to them like you're talking to your best friend. They feel that, okay? And when they feel that, it resonates with them and they want to be closer to you, especially if you're on video because when they see you on video, okay, immediately your status, your perception, how they perceive you, elevates, okay?

So maybe you can do a video and you can shoot a quick video and just say, hey, I was just on this call or I was just reading this and I was just, this was just going on in my life and I just wanted to share with you as my subscriber. First of all, hey, I appreciate you. Thank you for being my subscriber. I just want to let you know I'm here for you. If you have any questions, let me know, shoot me a quick line or call me up, right?

And you would include your phone number, right, either in the video or you can include your phone number in the email that you sent to them. Allow them to contact you, especially if you're just getting started, okay? I did this in the very beginning. It helped me a lot. People called me, right, and I would actually pick up my phone and they would be very surprised.

They would be like, wow, Vic? You actually picked up your phone? I'm like, yeah. I gave you my phone number. So right away, that positioned me above everybody else because nobody else was doing that.

Now, of course, right now, when I send out an email to my list, there is no possible way for me to, no way I'm going to include my phone number there because my phone is going to be red hot, right? And I don't want that, okay? But when you're just getting started, you've got to do it. You've got to do what you've got to do to build yourself up. You've got to do what you've got to do to raise yourself above the competition, to raise yourself as a marketer and start building yourself.

Guys, don't depend on anybody. Don't depend on Empower Network. Don't depend on your team sponsor. Don't depend on the system. Don't depend on anybody, okay?

You want to depend, you want me to tell you like it is or you want me to tell you what you want to hear, okay? And I'm sure Empower Network is not going to, I mean, they'll support me on this 100%.

But I found ClickMeter to be pretty, pretty accurate.

Make sense?

So then I know, how many visitors and then I can track my opt-ins and the reason I use quality click control, and ClickMeter for tracking precisely, is because their tracking is very detailed as far as where the traffic is coming from. So for example, if I advertise, if I buy traffic and it's supposed to be, top five countries traffic, right? United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and UK, right? And I look at my tracking stats for geographical locations and I see my traffic from Indonesia and just all, you know.

Okay. Third world countries, well, I know that somebody played a trick on me, right? So now I can go back to where I got the traffic from and I say, hey, I'm getting this traffic but, it's from countries of people who don't speak English and I don't need that, right? I always run, I always get traffic from the top five countries, guys. Don't even go and do anything else.

I mean, unless you advertise in Russia, then obviously you want to get traffic from that country specifically but if you are marketing for an English speaking crowd, right, go after the English speaking countries. United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Those are five top countries, okay? So yeah, so to answer your question again, I use ClickMeter, okay, to track my clicks and get all that tracking data and then I use quality click control to rotate my stuff, okay? And there is also a discount.

I'm able to negotiate for you guys from quality click control. It sells for $247, I believe. I called up the owner of that. I'm like, hey, we got a group, traffic formula students. I don't want to promote them for the full price and, I know there's like affiliate commissions for recommending your stuff, let's just bypass the affiliate commissions and pass the discount on to them so they can get it if they wanted to.

And just getting started out. What do you suggest would be the best plan to implement? Okay? No leads, just starting out, best plan to implement. I have been watching all of it but having all still tends to, there is a typo or something like that.

Leave me with no plan. Could you please share? Okay, so I just covered a little bit of that in the beginning. Okay? Keep it simple folks.

This is a machine. Okay? A machine is a machine. It either is going to control you or you're going to control it. Bottom line.

Okay? I told you to not depend on anybody. I told you to go out there and, if you know that, you know what, you wake up in the morning, you can get your own bread, right? You don't have to depend on anybody. Well, you can eat for the rest of your life.

If you know how to fish, you can eat for the rest of your life. If you depend on somebody to bring you fish all the time, right, you know what's going to happen. So, just simplify your business. Okay? Keep it simple.

Don't look at it as a big picture kind of deal. Look at it, you chunk it down. Okay? Again, three areas you need to focus on, three. One is traffic and that's what you're learning.

That's what you guys are going through. Okay? There's going to be a lot of, heck, when there is going to be traffic modules, we're going to be getting into like traffic intelligence and traffic amplifier, all that stuff. I believe the last module in this course is traffic intelligence and that is going to show you how to uncover new traffic sources so that you can literally feed yourself for the rest of your life.

Sometimes you got to step out of your comfort zone just a little bit further, right?

You got to do what you got to do, okay? And if you're just getting started, listen, it's not going to be peaches and roses all the time in the beginning, guys. Don't listen to anybody who's going to tell you, listen, that marketing lifestyle, man, just push a button here and money's going to come from over here and then just take that money, go live on the beach. That's possible when you do the work, okay?

What nobody's talking about is actually doing the work and actually treating this thing like a business, like a real profession. This profession got screwed up, it got messed up, okay, by the so-called gurus who are promoting the lifestyle of, you know what, push button riches and do nothing and get rich tomorrow, okay?

At the end of this course, we're going to have a master session to where we're just going to, heck, we can spend four hours if we need to, right? And just basically tie all the loose ends at the very end, okay? But you learn how to create your own capture pages. Why is it important? So that you don't have to depend on anybody to give you landing pages to promote.

Okay? You can create your own landing pages. I never, ever, ever use company landing pages. Never. Why?

Because everybody's promoting those, okay? I want to be different. You want to make big money, you want to be different, okay? And if you're just getting started, maybe you need to use what your team is doing or maybe what the company is providing. But at the same time, you start playing around with doing something of your own, okay?

That's how you learn. How do you learn how to swim? You jump in the water and you do it, okay? You don't just put your one foot in the water and say, oh, how do you, I mean, guys, that's it, right? So traffic, landing pages, and now you have traffic, now you have landing pages, so now you have conversions, okay?

And now you are looking at your conversions and seeing what kind of conversions that you're having. If it's 20%, 30%, great, 40%, whatever. Your goal is to always beat your best converting landing page. That's why split testing is important, right? So you're always competing against it.

Okay? You're competing against yourself, not against your neighbor or against the other affiliate. You're competing against yourself, make sense? That's what I do. And then you have traffic coming in and then you just basically just think outside the box.

Just be friendly. How do you have a lot of friends around you? By you being friendly, okay? How do you make a lot of money? By serving a lot of people, okay?

Forget, abandon the mentality of, you know what, I don't want to do nothing and I want to make money. Become a servant, okay? And give away what you learn, okay? Give, put your best foot forward. Why was Internet Traffic Formula launch so successful?

Okay? It's because I gave good stuff out, right? I didn't keep the stuff secret, right? Why am I able to make the kind of money I'm able to make? Because I don't mind sharing good information.

I don't mind sharing stuff that actually works for me. When people apply that, heck, we had a lot of people come to me at the Seattle event saying, hey, what do you do? What I learned in free trainings for the Internet Traffic Formula pre-launch videos for free allowed me to increase my opt-in rate by 10, 20%, 30%, okay? Thank you. Free stuff works, right?

So if your people think about it, if you, when you learn an idea, when you try something out, that's why trying and actually doing stuff is important. So you don't teach from theory, you teach from actual experience, right? Totally different things. So imagine you have a list of a hundred people or a thousand people. And you give them an idea and they go out there and, 20 people implement it.

Not everybody's going to implement it, but 20 people implement it, right? And then, half of those people get results from your free stuff that you gave away.

So what you're doing is you're creating your internal momentum within your community, within your following in your business, okay? So now, it's like that snowball, right? Start small but then you start rolling it, rolling it, rolling it, right? And then it gets massive.

And then all of a sudden, the snowball gains its momentum of its own. And before you know it, people are contacting you. You have to do just a little bit. In the beginning, you have to do a lot, okay?

You have to do, you have to stretch yourself. You have to step out of your comfort zone. But as you progress, right, you don't have to do as much because now you have people who are out there talking good stuff about your stuff, right? And now they're promoting you without you doing anything, right? They're talking about how great your stuff is.

And now what you're doing is you're creating your own success stories. That's where I'm heading the business, okay? Is my business is not about money anymore. My business is, it has never been about money. Initially I thought it was about money.

But then very quickly I realized, I was learning from a mentor and I was just smart enough to learn from, when my mentor was telling me to do something, I wasn't questioning. He said, don't focus on the money, money is the last thing you want to focus on. I said, great. So mentally, I tricked myself, alright?

I said, just money is going to come, let me just learn, what can I learn today that I can share with others? What can I learn so that I can implement and I can share with others? And I started to do that, right? I was doing conference calls once a week and seven people showed up on the first one, you know? But I was doing that conference call, just mental tricks sometimes you have to play on yourself, right?

You have to pretend like there's 5,000 people on that call and you talk with enthusiasm, man. Just like that energy that you portray is either going to attract people or is going to repel people. And you don't want to repel people, you want to attract people, okay? So. And that's how you start, right?

That's how you start. And then it kind of grew bigger and bigger and bigger and people started to contact me and I would give out my phone number and that's how I started out in the industry, right? Started making money. And then it's going to multiply. Okay, again, next question, when will this super agency be released?

Again, I answered that. Just keep your eyes on your email or whatever. Keep your ears open. You will hear about it. I don't know, guys, maybe, in the near future, hopefully.

We'll see. Okay. Hi from Australia. Do you think it's important to have your own website as an Empower Network affiliate and ITF user? Thanks, Vic.

Your stuff is authentic and I love you for bringing it to us. Lee Hemmings. Lee, thank you for the comment there. I appreciate you. Okay, so the question is, do I think it's important to have your own website as an Empower Network affiliate and ITF user?

Heck yeah. I think it's important. Do you have to have it to succeed? I don't want to say yes. I don't want to say that it's absolutely mandatory.

There are people who are making money without their websites, right? If you were to ask me just how I run my business, I would say go for it. You can promote, if you're promoting an Empower Network website, promote that, okay, if you have a team website, promote that, but at the same time, build something of your own. Understand how the system works. You don't need to understand coding.

I don't know how to create, how to code a website. I don't care. I don't know HTML. I don't know how to put up a video on a site. I don't know how to put comments in the feed or whatever.

I don't care about that stuff, okay. When Ford was making the first cars, he didn't know how that thing works, right? That's why there's other people to do what you cannot do, okay. But you need to understand the strategies.

That's really what you need to master, really what you need to focus on is strategies. Understand people skills, okay. Understand how, what makes people tick, make sense? Understand what makes you tick because what I do in my promotions is I put myself, before I send out an email. Before I put up a new title.

Okay. So, I put myself on the other side of the fence, so to speak. And I say, okay, if I was my own prospect, forget what I know now because a lot of times we promote stuff looking at the things from a lens as of a marketer, right, of somebody who's on this side of the fence. So, we know what's going on.

So, we speak assuming they know what we're talking about, okay. And that can create a barrier a lot of times.

They feel like there's going to be a closed door kind of thing.

Whatever you're promoting, you never know. But see those four people, you focus on them as if there were 4,000 people as far as your energy, as far as your enthusiasm, your optimism and just your posture as a marketer.

When I was shooting pre-launch videos for ITF, I was operating on like two hours of sleep for weeks.

If you're someone who maybe you're just getting started and it's kind of difficult for you to hold that attention.

When I do my promotion, I want my return on my investment to be as high as possible.

Let me tell you guys something because I think there was about a hundred or so of you that — let me share my screen — that missed out on this.

Okay? So, when you go here, you go to Internet Traffic Formula, right? You go Internet Traffic Formula. You go Traffic Mastery.

Now, if you haven't gone through the Capture Mastery, I highly recommend go through Capture Mastery, okay? But when you go to Traffic Mastery here, and then you go to Traffic Agencies, okay? I just want to point this out. This link right here was added, I don't remember when, but anyway, so when it was first added, then it did not point to the right place. Where it's supposed to go is for you to register for the super agency. It needs to take you to the registration page, okay, for you to enter your stuff here and register, create your password, okay.

If you haven't filled this out, what you need to do is you need to go back and you need to refill this out, okay? For some of you it took you straight to, hey, you're confirmed, blah, you never actually submitted your registration, you will never be in the system, okay? So I recommend, if you didn't submit this form, you need to go back to the Empower Network and click on the link and submit that form again if you want to be registered and processed. Cool, that was a little thing that we needed to fix there. All right, everybody, cool, awesome stuff, you guys are with me.

Cool, I appreciate that, still learning, okay. I learned a lot today, now that's good, that's good, that's good, see, we'll learn every day and I learn stuff every single day. All right, everybody, let's see if we can take on a couple more here before we wrap up. I'll see if I can pull up some questions with some meat in them, okay.

I wonder if the super agency will support niches like personal development and even people who are interested in areas such as meditation. Yes, there will be different niches available. Yep, now here's the thing with the super agency, guys. So with the super agency, there is a lot of traffic resellers out there, okay. A lot of them are bad, I'll just tell you like it is, guys. There are some good ones though, okay.

What the idea was with the super agency is, we said, how do we weed those out, okay? How do we weed out the bad ones from the good ones? And so, before I mean, how do you know which data is going to convert? How do you know which publisher is going to convert? You can either run a test yourself, okay. What I do is, when I go to a new publisher, when I go to a new data broker, when I go to a new vendor or whatever data center, I usually run three different tests, okay.

I do a test for about a thousand clicks and I say, hey, let me do a small test, a thousand clicks. I track the heck out of it, okay, opt-ins, all that, okay, countries where the clickers are coming from. If my thousand click test goes satisfactory, then I do another one, typically for about 20,000 clicks, okay, and I track the heck out of that as well, okay, opt-ins, open rates, conversions, click through rates on my email follow-ups. If that is good, then I negotiate an agreement, right, with that particular data center or publisher, vendor or whatever, and we say, hey, we are going to take your data, right, and we're gonna make it exclusively available through the super agency. And so that's why, that's how, you know, the idea is to bring the best, the cream of the crop, so to speak, right, the best of what's been proven and tested, right, into the super agency. And so, when you guys get the traffic from the super agency, if that's what you want to do, the idea is to get you proven stuff that actually worked and been proven.

Now it's also going to depend on your landing page, how your hook is created, what your landing page says, your follow up and all that.

But at least it's been tested for you. That's kind of the idea there. And yes, there are different niches and we're constantly testing different things.

Okay, Vic, I noticed that quality click control. Okay. You can track and rotate links along with providing conversion stats.

Why with capital letters, then should we have one site for tracking and just only use quality click control for rotator? You can actually use quality click control for tracking your opt-ins as well. The reason that I use ClickMeter, right, for my tracking is because I find that to be a little bit more accurate as far as tracking your actual opt-ins and it gives me a lot more stats, like where the traffic is actually coming from, what countries, IPs, all that stuff. So a lot of times, it's very useful for me, especially when I'm buying traffic for the top five countries, right, I want to know where they're coming from.

And I know that quality click control, they're always improving, they're coming out with newer versions all the time and upgrading their stuff. So, heck, maybe they'll come up with something that's going to be very close to ClickMeter and give you the same kind of stats, that would be sweet. Okay. What is the best way to optimize your URLs, URL keywords in LeadImpact?

When to delete a URL, okay? You let it run for, what I recommend you do is, you, when you start a PPV campaign, right, when you start a LeadImpact campaign or, you know, TrafficVance or Direct CPV or whatever, track your stuff and look at your stats every single day, okay? Look at your stats at least every 24 hours. And what you want to look for is, you go to reports, okay? You log into your account, it's very simple, guys.

Go to reports, you pull report for performing keywords, okay? And you take a look at the list of your keywords, URLs.

I actually had a few people that I met at different events that I went to. And in different workshops and they came to me saying, hey Vic, my PPV campaign is not converting. And I'm like, get your computer out, let's take a look.

So we log into their back office, pull up stats and sure enough, I look at the keywords, there is like a hundred keyword URLs and five of them or ten of them getting like the most, like 90% of traffic. And those keywords are like walmart.com, like, it's like the most, I mean, it's just not targeted at all for what they promote. Okay. And it's generic, it's big and there is a lot of traffic coming to it, but they're not targeted. Okay.

So when you look at where the majority of the traffic is coming to, which particular URL, and then you just go to that site and see if it's a good match for what you're promoting. All right. If there is a match, then keep it, right? A lot of times, when, if your campaign is not going well, that means that you have some URLs that are not, they're getting tons of traffic, but they're not, you know, targeted. Okay.

So I remove a URL. If I see, I mean, it's kind of difficult to say because it depends on the conversion and how it stacks up against the other URLs. But if there is, you will see it very quickly, you let it run for a day or two and then you take a look at your list of URLs, you will see the ones that will stick out like a sore thumb, with a lot of data. And then those are the ones that you look at. There was another question.

And we're going to wrap this up here because we're actually going over time. There was another question of what I suggest paying for, how do you, I guess, gauge your conversions from PPC, right? Or from PPV rather, excuse me, pay-per-view. So here is my rule of thumb, okay, typically. I look at, at the end of the day, okay, I look at my cost per lead, okay?

Cost per lead. What does that mean? So if I have 5,000 impressions, okay? If I do a PPV campaign and I have 5,000 impressions and let's say I pay two cents per impression, okay, on average, sometimes it's going to be one cent, sometimes it's going to be a cent and a half or whatever, right? So I spent $100.

I take a look at how many opt-ins I got, okay? How many opt-ins you got for that $100? I want my opt-in cost, my cost per lead, to be obviously as low as possible, but I'm willing to tolerate up to $3, sometimes $3.50, depends on what your process is, per opt-in, okay? But then again, I know my backend, right? I know how much I can spend to acquire an opt-in because I know that I'm going to provide value to those opt-ins.

I'm going to build a relationship with them and I know how much I'm going to earn per month for every single one of those opt-ins as an average number. That's why guys, keeping track and knowing your business is like controlling that car that you drive. So the car doesn't control you, it's like you're not moving in blindly. You know what?

You're taking the steering wheel and you're driving your business where you want it to go. You're in control, guys, don't ever let anybody control your business.

It's like that fog is going to be lifted off your eyes and you're going to be like, wow, I got it. I can actually recreate it. I can actually duplicate my success. And that's when you will never, ever, ever, ever go back and struggle again. It's worth it, guys.

Another one, this one right here, The Science of Getting Rich. Highly recommend you read that one.

The movie The Secret, that is the world's phenomenon, again, it opened, it brought a lot of awareness to people but it also made a lot of people slack off a lot just by thinking, hey, I'm just going to do nothing. Just kind of visualize. This is going to fall from the tree and everything but it doesn't happen so people get discouraged. But that movie was inspired by this book. Read that.

Another one is called Success. Success, simple little book. The Glenn Beck Method, how to set goals and make plans that really work. I mean, cool, easy to read, good stuff. Bottom line is this.

This business is about people. It's not about, guys, it's not about systems. What is a system?

Bye.
