Your traffic depends on one number: where you rank on Google. You spend months building content around that number, and one morning you check your stats and the number is gone. Not lower. Gone. Forty percent of your visitors, overnight, and you did nothing wrong except trust a search engine that changes its mind whenever it wants to.

That is exactly what happened to Rob Fore, the guest trainer behind this lesson inside the 15K Formula. Rob had been doing search engine work for more than a decade, ranking number one for hundreds of keywords, feeding a five-figure monthly business with no paid ads at all. Then Google rolled out the updates known as Panda and Penguin, and his rankings collapsed in a single day.

If you have ever built traffic around a ranking, you already know the fear sitting underneath that story. You put real hours into a page, and somewhere in the back of your mind you know an algorithm you do not control could take it all away tomorrow. Rob’s answer was not to rank better. It was to stop needing to rank at all.

What actually happens when the algorithm turns on you?

Rob had spent years doing SEO the traditional way: research a keyword, write content around it, build links, wait for Google to reward the work with a top spot. It worked, for years, across hundreds of keywords in every niche he touched.

Then came the update.

all of a sudden, I’m not number one on page one anymore. I’m number 50 on page 136. And literally overnight, I lost about 40% of my traffic. So that is the danger of doing SEO. If Google ever gets a be in their bonnet, you can lose your traffic overnight.

Rob was not promoting some fly by night offer. What he lost overnight was traffic feeding a passive, residual income stream, the kind of business he had built his reputation on for a decade. He did not lose the income immediately, because the people already in his pipeline stayed there. But new visitors are the lifeblood of any business like this, and he knew that without them coming in daily, the whole thing would die slowly by attrition. So he had a real problem: get the traffic back, fast, without depending on the thing that had just failed him.

Why is chasing a keyword ranking the wrong finish line?

Before showing how he rebuilt the traffic, Rob walks through the process that has to happen first, and step one has nothing to do with SEO. It is deciding what you actually want the visit to do. A lead, a phone call, a click-through, a sale. You need that answer before you write a single word, because you get exactly and specifically what you focus on, and nothing more if you focus on nothing.

Once the goal is set, the keyword research changes shape. A lot of people writing inside Empower Network make the same early mistake: they try to rank directly for Empower Network itself, one of the most fought-over phrases in the whole industry. Rob’s approach is to go after the person most likely to join Empower Network if they knew it existed, not the company name. Someone searching for MLM recruiting tips, or article writing software, or how to make money blogging is already telling you they want more income. There is no need to mention the company at all to get in front of that person.

Rob compares untargeted traffic to a grocery run. You walk in for milk and eggs, and a candy bar catches your eye on the way out, an impulse buy stacked on top of the real errand. Traffic that lands on your content by accident works the same way. You pick up the occasional stray sale, but the numbers stay small. Traffic that arrives already searching for a way to make money converts at a completely different rate, because the content is answering the exact question the visitor showed up with.

How do you get traffic without ever ranking on Google?

Here is the mechanic that got Rob his traffic back inside thirty days. Instead of writing one post and hoping it eventually ranks, he takes the same piece of content and republishes it, in different formats, across platforms that already have their own massive built-in audiences. None of it depends on Google ranking anything.

  • The original blog post, promoted normally.
  • A short video version on YouTube and a handful of other video sites, cut from the same research in about ten extra minutes.
  • The same content reworded and submitted to article directories, where some readers start their search instead of on Google.
  • A post on forums where the target market already spends time, like Warrior Forum for business opportunity seekers.
  • A PDF of the post uploaded to document sharing sites such as SlideShare and DocStock.
  • The same document shared again on Pinterest, which behaves like its own private search engine.

On one low-competition keyword that Google’s own tool said only got 210 searches a month, that single piece of repurposed content pulled 501 views from the blog, 135 from YouTube, 387 from a forum, 761 from one document sharing site, and 344 from another, without ranking anywhere on Google for any of it. On a different post about Empower Network itself, the SlideShare version alone brought in more than 20,000 views over eight months while sitting completely outside Google’s search results.

Why does leading with value beat leading with a pitch?

None of the repurposing works if the content is a sales pitch wearing a headline. People do not like being sold to, even when they are shopping for exactly what you are selling. The content has to teach something real, a technique, a story, before it ever mentions the offer.

That includes the first few seconds someone spends on the page. Rob’s rule is that a visitor decides whether they landed in the right place within about six seconds, so the headline has to promise, specifically, the exact thing they were searching for. As Rob Fore puts it, describing the discipline behind that headline, “You know, it’s been said that a rat will, will chew through steel if he thinks there’s a piece of cheese on the other side. But the second he gets one whisper of a cat whisker, he’s out of there.” Give a visitor real cheese, in the headline and the opening line, and they chew through the rest of the page. Give them a whiff of a pitch too early, and they are gone before you get the chance to say anything else.

This is also why the offer sits at the bottom of the post, not the top. Rob’s blog post about article writing software never mentions Empower Network in the headline. It answers a real question first, about writing software, and only once the visitor is engaged does it ask whether they are actually making money doing what they are doing online. That single post, aimed at a problem next door to the real offer, earned five figures in commissions and brought in more than 50 people who joined Empower Network, without ever competing for the one keyword everyone else in the company was fighting over.

What do you do while you are waiting for any of this to work?

Nothing in this lesson pays off on day one. Rob is direct about that too, both about his own history of losing rankings and rebuilding them more than once, and about the cost of watching results before they show up. Asked what advice he would give someone brand new who is tempted to quit before anything happens, Rob pointed back to his own return to internet marketing after quitting once already, and the ninety-day commitment he made the second time around, doing exactly what his model told him to do without second-guessing it.

As Rob Fore explains it, “And you got to give yourself permission. I call it giving yourself a little bit of grace. Give yourself a little bit of grace to put on the student cap and to take longer than you think it should. And if you allow yourself to stick with it, because it is taking longer than you think it should, the result will be bigger and more glorious than you ever thought it would be. But you have to stick it out to do it.”

That patience is the other half of the mechanism here. The repurposing engine gets you traffic without ranking, but ranking itself still takes months, and the algorithm can still take a swing at whatever you do build on top of it. Neither fact changes if you quit. They only stop mattering once you have enough content spread across enough platforms that no single change, Google’s or anyone else’s, can take out your whole business in one afternoon.

The full lesson goes considerably further than what is above: the live walkthrough of Rob’s actual keyword research tool, the exact repurposing sequence demonstrated screen by screen on his own blog, the backlink and social engagement strategy that replaced brute-force link building after Panda and Penguin, and the Q&A with Chris Record and Dave Wood that follows. If you did not, the entire course, including this lesson and everything built on top of it, is available for $99 through the 15K Formula course.

All right, folks. This is Dave Wood, and I'm excited about this webinar that we're having here tonight. I've got a special guest trainer on the line here. He's also one of my good friends. A lot of you guys know him.

A lot of you guys don't. I haven't really done a lot of training here with Empower Network, but he's done a lot of training generically in the niche. What I want to do real quick is first introduce – we're going to start into the paid media series this week. The guy that we have who's going to be doing the training on solo ads, which we're going to train first, is in Malaysia right now. He's actually doing traffic seminars, and he's doing Empower Network presentations over there as well.

He lives in the UK, and the internet wasn't good. We don't want those webinars to be cutting in and out. The solo ads training is going to start next week, and it's going to go either two or three weeks. Everybody here, you want to be on those, and also you want your team on them. If anybody doesn't have the 15K formula, make sure they ask.

It's going to be an amazing upgrade because that is the fastest way to get paid leads. There's not an easier, faster strategy to learn to get a lot of paid leads real fast than solo ads. We're going to get into that next week. It's going to be incredible material. He told me that earlier today.

He said he couldn't pop on. What I did was I hit one of my good friends up. None of you guys have met Rob Four. I met Rob Four – was it Rob like two years ago, two and a half? Yeah, probably two.

Yeah, about two and a half years ago. This is how I met Rob. He could tell the story about how he met me, but how I met Rob is actually kind of funny because a lot of you guys know I don't have a phone. I haven't had a phone since 2006, and I don't really make a lot of phone calls. Some people think I'm kidding, but the people who know me, they know that's the truth.

I sponsor people, and I don't pick up the phone. I don't prospect. I might talk on the phone once a day to a buddy of mine or something like that. It's through a Skype call. I hear about this webinar that's going on this SEO guru, and I said, who's this guy?

He was marketing – this SEO guru was marketing a system that I was marketing. I clicked on it, and I said, Rob Four? Who the heck is Rob Four? I logged into this genealogy report that showed all the people in my team, and he was in my team. I think that you remember.

I remember making me – then. I didn't know who you were. You know what I mean? So I popped on the webinar and heard him train. The cool thing about Rob is Rob is a little bit different in the sense that he's been marketing online for more than a decade doing SEO successfully.

If any of you guys have gone out there and looked at search engine rankings and traffic, Rob, in every niche he's in, he literally ranks for every single keyword within the top three slots, usually number one, unless Google's done some sort of update. He's got a different kind of a knowledge and a different kind of strategy base and a different way of teaching, and he really adds a lot of value. But here's the interesting thing. What did you make last month here, Rob? It was $36,000 into your own merchant account.

That was like $40,000 total or something, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah. And do you – I mean last month, I don't even know. Did you do any paid ads? Was it all organic?

No, we didn't do any paid ads at all. For me, that was all through organic SEO. And she's going, well, hey, we're making all this money, and you're really not doing anything. What would happen if you take it serious? Okay.

And recently, I started doing some paid advertising, but that was just kicked off this month. So I was actually kind of prepping for the guy that's going to show us the solo ads because that will be pretty cool to see that. Yeah, that will be a good series. And there's some. You've got a few tools here and there, and you've got some subscriptions that you pay.

But you're not spending $10,000 of that to get the leads. You're doing it all organically. So, you know, it's my pleasure working with you, Rob. We've been working together now for two and a half years. I don't know a person who has the ability to simplify.

I know a couple of good SEO guys, but the way that Rob can simplify the training and explain some things. Today, we're actually going to be covering how to get some instant fast traffic, for those of you who are a little too impatient to do SEO. So it's going to be a bonus webinar that's going to piggyback off some of the stuff Chris Record taught with Rob Forrest's kind of unique personality, unique strategy. So that being said, Rob Forrest knows what he's talking about. He's reproduced results again and again and again for more than a decade.

And I think you guys will be really entertained. As we're going through the webinar, guys, go ahead and log in to your Empower Network block office. Leave us your thoughts, comments, suggestions, questions, whatever, in the comments on this product. And we'll be paying attention to that as we go along, too. So, Rob, I'm going to click the screen over to you.

Hold on a second. All right. Rob Forrest, you got it? No, not yet. Take a second here.

Make presenter. Ah, here we go. All right. Cool. All right, man.

Over to you. Have you seen it? Yeah, yeah. Take it away, brother. All right.

Cool. Well, thank you, David. Hey, everybody. It's my pleasure to actually be on this call tonight, as David was sharing. I actually met David through the Internet.

You know, I had joined this other deal. And I had built a team. And at the time, two and a half years ago, it was about 7,000, 8,000 people in a network marketing thing. And I had done it entirely belly-to-belly. You know, belly-to-belly home meetings, chasing people down at the mall, doing all the crazy, stupid stuff none of us really want to do.

But that's how I had built the business. And then, you know, I got involved. My team was really kind of picking on me. They were kind of saying, well, Rob, we don't want to do what you do. We don't want to break out the wine crackers and cheese and entertain people and chase our family and friends.

We want to do it. We want to do it on the Internet. We had a dental supply business. We built websites for real estate agents and got them a lead generation site so they could get more buyers and sellers. All kinds of different things.

I mean, so we've done a lot of stuff on the Internet. But for whatever reason, it never worked. It never crossed my mind that I could build a network marketing business on the Internet, that I could generate leads. So I joined this other deal. And the first thing I do is I go to the leader boards, just like here in the 15K program.

You come here to find out what the leaders are doing. The guys that are producing the results, what are they doing? And you just simply step up to the plate and do the same thing. You know, I'm just not the sharpest tack in the box. So it's like my best chance to.

Succeed is to copy something that's already producing a result. So in this particular program, David Wood was the number one producer and it seemed like he'd been the number one producer for all time. And so I just started to do what he said to do. He said, blog daily, tell other people about it and pick up your paycheck. It's like, you're kidding me.

But I can't be that easy. But I knew from my Internet experience promoting other things that it really was that simple. So I got in. I got in.

I got busy, literally, literally copied David. And at the time, he had this very ugly blog that just was just horrible. But I copied it. I made mine ugly. I did exactly what he did.

And pretty soon. Well, today in that particular program, I'm the number two producer there. So it definitely works. But as David was sharing, my model has always been SEO or search engine optimization, which basically means, you know, if you go to the Internet, you sit down in front of your favorite search engine, whether that be Google, Bing, Yahoo or YouTube. And if you're looking for information or a product review or a company review or a business opportunity, the entire Internet starts with search.

They sit down, they search for something and boom, we're presented with these search results. That's organic search. We want to show up on that front page of Google, Bing, Yahoo or YouTube. So when people are actually searching, they can click our link and off we go. Now, as David said, we're going to do a lot of research.

And as David shared, there is an expense to that. You know, quite often we talk about driving free traffic to our site. But my monthly overhead expense is about 400 bucks a month to do what we do as versus what David was sharing with paid advertising. Who knows? You know, you can scale it up to any size you want.

The challenge with SEO is it takes time. You know, if I go out there and write a great blog post today and post it up there and promote it so it actually ranks, it could take six to eight days. It could take eight weeks before it ever shows up on the search engine, and then depending on the keyword I was going after, it might only get 100 clicks a month. And so in order to drive a lot of traffic, we need a lot of content, and it's just a matter of time. You know, you take that consistent effort over an extended period of time, it will produce results, but here we jump into something like Empower Network that has this phenomenal income potential, just crazy, crazy income potential. Quite often, you might want to, you know, you just don't want to wait that long, so you want to go off into paid advertising, use some social media to drive traffic, even do, you know, business meetings, warm meetings, whatever.

So that's what I want to talk about tonight is how to actually drive traffic so that you can get some leads so you can make some sales without ranking on the search engines and without doing paid advertising. That's what we're going to talk about tonight, so if you're too impatient for SEO, that's okay, we got you covered. If you don't have a budget for paid media, that's okay, we got you covered, that's what we're going to talk about tonight. So if you stick with me all the way to the end, I'm going to show you something that will surprise, even shock you at how powerful this can be. You'll probably walk away and get busy. You probably won't be able to sleep tonight because you'll see the potential here, even if you're not doing paid advertising. So that's what we're going to talk about tonight.

So if you're too impatient for SEO, that's okay, we got you covered. If you're not a geek like I am and want to do SEO within Empower Network, I should really change the title to how to make a million dollars or more in the next 12 months or less, because the income potential here – and I've done a lot of things since 1996 – I've never seen nothing like it. In fact, David and I were having a conversation earlier today, and he goes, aren't you in like 18 different things? And yeah, I am.

But I stopped promoting 18 different things. Today, I promote two things, and Empower Network's at the top of the list. I have never in my life seen anything that has the potential to do what we can do here with Empower Network and change lives and contribute. So it's kind of cool. So if your goal is to generate traffic, and if you're marketing online, if you're blogging, if you're doing the eight core steps, if you're blogging daily, your goal is to generate traffic.

Plain and simple. So if your goal is to generate traffic, and it is, it most certainly is, then the key is we need to start posting on purpose for traffic. You need to sit down, and David talks about this all the time, is before you do anything, whether it's to have an event, send an email, do a blog post, you have to have a very clear intention. What's the purpose? What's the end goal?

What's your intention for whatever action it is? What are the things you're going to make? Even if you're going to make a prospecting call, you better have a clear intention of what you want your prospect to do by the time you get off the phone. So the key is to start posting on purpose, to have that intention for traffic before you ever start. And then you're going to be able to produce results like these.

This was actually at the beginning of the year, back in January. My personal blog got 1.6 million hits in the month of January. 51,000 unique visitors. And these are all coming from SEO. So one of the things I want to talk about first is that not all traffic is created equal.

And I think that's an important distinction to make, especially with the Empower Network, because a lot of people come in to this opportunity, and they get what I call the blank page blues. They're going, oh, I got this wonderful blog that has age, that has authority. All I have to do is start blogging. I'm going to tell people about it and cash my paycheck. But what the heck am I going to blog about?

And, of course, in the fast part, it says, well, your first blog post should be basically a review, basically a testimonial. Why did you pick Empower Network? And, of course, if you do any SEO training like Chris was showing us, do your keywords, optimize your page, try to get that to rank for Empower Network. But then what? And a lot of people get stuck in that then what?

And so they just start blogging. They start blogging about whatever they want to blog about. You know, if you're a good organic tomato gardener, you might start blogging about how to grow organic tomatoes. That's not a bad thing, but there's a better way to go about it if you're trying to build a business that's profitable. See, if you build or write a blog post about organic tomatoes, and you promote it, you tell people about it so it actually starts to rank and you get traffic, you're going to get traffic from people who are interested.

You're going to get traffic from people who are interested in growing organic tomatoes. Now, while they're there, they may see half-naked David standing there going, hey, I'm rich, you're not, click here, I'll tell you how to get it. But at the same time, what if you found a way to attract the people who were most likely to join Empower Network if they knew it existed? So that's the difference between what I call non-targeted traffic and targeted traffic. It's just like if you and I were going to go to the store today.

You know, our wives tell us, okay, here's your list. We want milk and eggs. Off to the store you go. So my intention is to go get milk and eggs. I walk into the store.

I go back to the back. I get the milk and eggs. And on the way out the door, a candy bar catches my attention, and I walk out the door with milk, eggs, and a candy bar. That candy bar was in addition to what my intention was. So it's kind of the same thing.

If somebody's searching for organic tomatoes, I want to learn how to grow tomatoes. And you may pick up one or two sales from the people that go, oh, I want it, I want a candy bar too, I think I'll join Empower Network. But much better would be to drive targeted traffic of people who are actually interested in learning how to make money, and you're going to pick up far more sales.

So we want to go after targeted traffic. And to do that, I actually have a five-step process that I always, always, always go through. As I shared, I'm not the brightest tack in the world, you know, in the box. Right? It has to be brain-dead simple for me.

Otherwise, I just wouldn't do it. So the first step is to begin with the end in mind. And that's what we mean when we say, let's post on purpose. We have to have an intention for our post. Why are we posting?

What do we want it to do? For search engines, SEO, we want to do keyword research, produce content, publish that content, and then promote that content to rank. What we're going to talk about tonight is how to promote that content to get free traffic literally overnight without it ranking. So we're just going to speed up the process a little bit. So here we are.

We're beginning with the end in mind. And we're going to sit down. We're going to write a blog post, or we're going to cut a YouTube video. You have to ask your question, what's your intention? What do you want the web visitor to do?

When somebody lands on that blog post, what do you want them to do? Do you want them to engage and fill out the opt-in form to become a lead? You want them to read your content, engage in the content, and then actually sign up to Empower Network? Do you want them to engage and pick up the phone and call you if they have any questions so you can create a relationship with them?

You want to engage and have them click through and maybe go take a look at a different affiliate marketing product you're offering, or maybe a personal website where you can brand yourself. What's your intention? Are you looking for a lead, looking for a sale, looking for a phone call, or looking for a click through? You need to know that going in. You are absolutely going to get exactly and specifically what you focus on.

If you don't focus on anything, you're going to get that too. Your results will be nothing. So you need to begin with the end in mind. Now once we do that, so let's say my goal is to create a lead. Okay.

That's my intention. Now I need to decide what am I going to create the lead for, and in this case, let's say Empower Network. Now the second step is keyword research. What we need to do, and there are specific tools out there, one of them being Google Keyword Tool. Just go to Google, type in Keyword Tool, and the very first thing that pops up on the page, that's a free tool you can use.

That will tell you exactly and specifically which words and phrases people are typing in and how many people are typing in. Okay. All right. So I'm typing that in per month. So the question I ask is what specific words and phrases are the people most likely to take the action you want?

What are those keywords, phrases, what, you know, so it's like if I want to opt in for Empower Network, I need to think, well, who's the person most likely to want to sign up to Empower Network if and when they come to know it exists? That's my target market. Now once I have that target market in mind, I need to know what specific words and phrases are they searching for to attract that person most likely to get involved with Empower Network. And so we're looking for exact words and phrases.

And remember, the internet runs on search. So that means there's no reason for us to guess. There's tools out there that will tell us exactly and specifically what people are searching for. So if I wanted to, let's say I decide, okay, well, I want to create a lead. Okay.

So I'm going to create a lead for Empower Network, and I think a person most likely to want to buy Empower Network if they knew it existed would be somebody interested in learning how to make money blogging. That's my target market. People interested in how to make money blogging. Then I would go to the keyword research tool and just start making stuff up. Make money blogging, make cash blogging, income blogging, affiliate blogging, and in the process of guessing, the tools will literally tell you the specifics.

Okay. And you can go to the more specific words and phrases that target market is typing in. And once we get that clarity, then we can go to the next step. So in this example, I'm going to give you an example of the goal. I'm going to go write a blog post, and the goal is to actually sell a product about sponsoring. How do you sponsor and recruit people?

How do you sign up more people in your network marketing business in a month than most people do all year? So I would say, well, who's the person most likely to buy that? Well, the frustrated networker. Anybody and everybody that's in network marketing – there happens to be 63 million or more out there – who has run out of a warm market, they're going to be interested in learning how to recruit and sponsor people. And so I just jump up to the keyword tool again. This is the free Google keyword tool. I just start typing stuff in: MLM recruiting, MLM sponsoring, network marketing recruiting, network marketing sponsoring. I'm just trying to say, you know, for that target market interested in recruiting and sponsoring, let me just put some words in here and see what this tool presents me.

And then, if you notice, there on the left I actually select the keyword, I select the box that says exact match. I want to know exactly and specifically what these people are typing in. Then, there at the bottom middle, I select show only ideas closely related to my search terms. That can help you get better targeted search terms; otherwise Google can give you a whole bunch of stuff that's just not relevant. So instead of having a whole bunch of stuff, we just get sufficiently related results, so we start off that way.

And then what we find is we find in this case that sixteen hundred people per month literally sit down at Google and type in the phrase MLM sponsoring. There's literally no reason to guess. It told me exactly and specifically what my target market is looking for. So if I know that sixteen hundred people per month are searching for MLM recruiting exactly and specifically, and if I can rank for that, if I can drive traffic for that phrase, then I just put the odds in my favor that they're going to be interested in my MLM recruiting product, the thing that I'm selling.

So again, now we're driving targeted traffic, which exponentially increases your odds of collecting a lead or a sale for that particular keyword phrase or niche market. So since we're posting on purpose for traffic in this model – not SEO, but where we're kind of ranking on Google for this thing where we're looking for free traffic without ranking – we want the highest keywords, the highest traffic available. So if I'm looking at this list here, the only three worth going after would be MLM recruiting, sixteen hundred people a month, and keep in mind that's just Google, so if we factor in Bing, Yahoo, and YouTube, it might be four or five thousand people a month. MLM sponsoring is getting a thousand, network marketing recruiting is getting a thousand.

So if I have a network marketing sponsoring product to sell, I would go after those top three keywords because they get the most traffic. And again, we want to drive traffic – the more people that see our offer, the better chance we have of making a deal. And you can use tools to automate this process, but the Google Keyword Tool is absolutely wonderful for this. So once we have the keyword phrase – let's pick on MLM recruiting, that's what we're going to go after – our goal is to write a blog post to attract those people and go sell them an MLM recruiting product.

So once I have that, now we need to produce the content. Now, of course, with our Empower Network blog or even your own personal blog or a YouTube video, we want to lead with value, not a sales pitch. So I don't want to create a big old sales pitch – hey, I got this wonderful MLM recruiting product, it does backflips, and there's seven closing statements and blah, click here, buy now – whoop-de-do, it's just another sales pitch. And I don't know, think about the last time you went to, say, a furniture store or a place that sold suits, and here comes the salesperson: "Hey, can I help you?" Well, what's your first response? "No thanks." Just like, we don't like sales pitches, we don't like to be sold to. We love to buy, but we don't like to be sold to.

So stop selling what you want. It is: produce content. Maybe an MLM recruiting review, I educate. Say, here's three ways to increase your MLM recruiting success. Educate, inform, engage. Tell a story. You know, David's telling us all the time it's all about the story.

Tell a story about how you changed and enhanced your recruiting. Tell stories of how it worked for you. Educate and inform. You need to get them engaged. And the longer they're engaged, the more likely it is that you're going to get a deal.

So, again, we want to lead with value and not necessarily a sales pitch. Now, I'm going to talk real quick about on-page optimization, which means once you produce this content, you need to tell the search engines what your page is about. If they don't know what your page is about, they'll never rank you. Now, we're not going to talk about ranking. But, again, this is also for the visitor as well.

When they land on your page, you have about six seconds before they're going to click the back button if they don't think they landed on the right page. So, you need to let them know right up front you have absolutely found what you're looking for. So, in this case, I was going to write a blog post about MLM recruiting. So, my title became MLM Recruiting Secrets. Boom, they know right away they have found exactly what they were looking for.

In the first sentence, searching for proven MLM recruiting secrets, take your business to the next level, so you see there right in that first three to four seconds, the moment they landed on my page, they know they are exactly where they found what they were looking for. Then, of course, we tease into it, say what you're about to discover is a handful of proven secrets that we use to personally sponsor 30 people in 30 days. And they all called us. Ooh, they're going, I want to do that too. And we create this grease chute where once they start reading your content, they can't help but go all the way to the bottom and click your buy button.

So, we want to lead with value, not a sales pitch. If the first thing they see when they land on your blog is some banner ad going, go buy my MLM recruiting thingamajiggy, they're gone. People just don't want to be pitched. So, you want to use an enticing headline and a description. I kind of think of it like cheese.

You know, if rats really like cheese, we'll just assume they do for a moment. You know, it's been said that a rat will chew through steel if he thinks there's a piece of cheese on the other side. But the second he gets one whisper of a cat whisker, he's out of there. It's the same thing here. If the person is searching for MLM recruiting, we need to let them know that on our site, we are going to end your search.

We are going to give you exactly what you're looking for and more. And you're going to do that in the headline on search. So, again, we were going after MLM recruiting. I might do a headline, MLM recruiting secrets revealed. Really?

You know, here's some secrets we use to sponsor 30 people in 30 days. Now, if I'm looking for recruiting secrets, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Or on the next one, what am I promoting there? Autopilot money system, which is actually an affiliate product that we are trying to rank for. So, again, proven autopilot money system revealed.

Now, I have since changed that post to some stupid little affiliate program that we're making 20 bucks for to Empower Network, by the way. And it's worked really well, which we call repurposing our content, which we'll talk about here in a minute. Then down there, they were looking for MLM leads. So, again, finding great MLM email lead list. I think the keyword we were going after was email lead list.

So, you want to create enticing headlines and descriptions to cause them to click. That's the first thing. Yeah. Okay. That Callaway Conspiracy, we were selling golf clubs that were cloned from China.

And, again, three dirty little secrets that are costing you golfers a fortune. Why wouldn't they click on that? I don't want to be spending more money than I have to. So, in a sense, we're teasing them into clicking our links. So, we write our content.

Now, we need to publish it. In most of the cases, we're going to publish it on our blog. You might write an article for digital. You might write a blog post for our blog. It's going to be a very high-quality blog post.

It's going to be very easy to distribute and go to E-zine Articles or one of these article sites. You may use YouTube, your publish content as a video. It could be a forum post. You could post it on high-traffic Web 2.0 sites. The different sites out there that just kind of syndicate your content like a free WordPress blog or Squidoo or HubPages.

One of the things I want to share with you is if you've gone through all the time and effort to find a great keyword, did your research on that topic, wrote a very engaging article or blog post, you should do all of these. You should repurpose your content. Do a blog post, turn it into an article, submit it to Ezine Articles and Article Base and Article City. Read through the article and create a YouTube video. Go put some forum posts and throw some snippets out there and guide people in and go put it up on Squidoo and Hub Pages.

Repurpose that content. So now you've actually done most of the work once, and now you just work a little bit to expand your reach to get more traffic. Now, I will share with you, as David shared, since 1996, or over a decade, getting my content to rank in the search engine has been my number one strategy. But what happened is back in, I think it was February and April, here comes Google, and these are all the things I ranked number one for. That's just a small sample.

At the time, I was ranking number one for hundreds of keywords, and we're getting a lot of leads and a lot of traffic for the thing I was selling at the time. Well, here comes February of this year, and Google comes out with what they call their Panda slap or their Penguin penalty. And basically, they said, all you SEO guys that have manipulated the search results because of what you do, we're going to slap you down like stepchildren. And so all these number one rankings, all of a sudden, I'm not number one on page one anymore.

I'm number 50 on page 136. And literally overnight, I lost about 40% of my traffic. So that is the danger of doing SEO. If Google ever gets a bee in their bonnet, you can lose your traffic overnight. Well, that happened to me.

And so I'm sitting there going, okay, I just lost 40% of my traffic. Because what I was promoting was a passive residual income type of thing, I wouldn't lose my income, but I knew that if I wasn't continually bringing in new blood – because new blood is the lifeblood of your business – that the business would slowly die by attrition. So it's like, how do I get my traffic back? How do I get my leads back so I can make sales?

And that's really when I came up with this strategy we're going to talk about tonight. Because I was in desperate straits. I'd lost almost half of my traffic. And I needed to find a way to get it back without ranking on the search engines. And I needed to do it very, very fast.

So if you're on the line, you're saying, well, I don't have a budget for paid media, and I don't have the patience for SEO, I want to make money before the next 3, 4, 5, 6 months, this is what will get you there.

And we're getting to the good stuff right now. So again, we call it posting on purpose for traffic. You have to have that intention. So the idea is to target keyword phrases that get a lot of searches. So when we use that tool, we're looking for the keyword phrases that get the most people are searching for it.

We don't want the tiny numbers. We don't want long tail keywords. We don't want the things that have low competition. We want high competition, massive traffic keywords. And we want to create the content in various forms and distribute that content as wide as you can.

As we talked about, you want to create a blog post. You want to create a video. You want to do an article. You want to go submit it out to the web 2.0 sites. And we'll talk about that here in a minute.

And we don't need to rank on Google to get massive traffic. So we're going to do our keyword research. Get keywords that have a lot of traffic. And we're going to go create a blog post.

So again, let's stick with the same keyword, MLM Recruiting. If you remember, got 1,600 searches per month from Google, from people in network marketing. So I do a blog post. And of course, it was MLM Recruiting Secrets. And at the time that we did this – now this blog post was back in February.

I don't remember when I took this screenshot. But my blog post actually did rank and still ranks, if you go search Google for MLM Recruiting Secrets, number one at the time or somewhere on the front page. And that created 501 hits of traffic, very highly targeted traffic. Now, I want to show you another example down here.

I did a blog post for article writing software. And I want to talk a little bit about this later. But the reason I wrote that blog post – if you look at the date, it was back in December of 2011. If you remember, Empower Network started October 31st of 2011.

This blog post was really done to promote Empower Network. It wasn't done to promote article writing software, even though we did do that too. Because keep in mind, like we talked about before, I'm looking for keywords that will attract the person most likely to join Empower Network if and when they know it exists. Well, if I know that they're searching for article writing software, that tells me two things.

They have blank page blues, and they need help writing articles. The other thing it tells – which gives me a good chance of selling them, earning a commission if they buy the software package. But it also tells me they're trying to make money on the internet. And if they're trying to make money on the internet and they're not writing content, or they have challenges writing that, then I know they're not making any money.

And I know if they join Empower Network, they can make a lot of money. So it's like, hey, while you're here, let me ask you a question. Are you making any money doing what you're doing? I know the answer is no. So I ask the question, are you making any money?

No. Why don't you click here and let me show you how, instead of making weenie commissions, you can make 100% commissions and start making tens of thousands of dollars a month selling that software product. And it's also been responsible for over 50 people joining Empower Network. The reason I bring that up is notice I'm not promoting Empower Network directly.

I'm simply promoting something that's less competitive that will attract the person most likely to join Empower Network if and when they come to know it exists. So I have a much better chance of ranking and getting traction and getting traffic, promoting something that's far less competitive than just Empower Network directly. A lot of us come in and say, oh, man, I'm going to go try to rank for Empower Network. Well, good luck with that.

There are some brutal marketers out there going after Empower Network. You don't have to try to climb this mountain when you first get started. Go after easier stuff and slide them into Empower Network on the back end. So I did a blog post. Remember, we just did a blog post, MLM Recruiting Secrets.

I repurposed that blog post, meaning I already did the research. I already wrote the content, so I know what the heck we're talking about. Then I go repurpose that by cutting a video. It only takes me 10 minutes more to cut a video because I already did the research. And at the time, we posted that video.

And within one week, got an additional 135 visits to that video. Down here, we're showing here is four months. For a different video, four months, over 5,000 people watched that video. These videos were not ranking on the search engines. YouTube itself gets a lot of traffic.

And I'm going to show you something here in a couple minutes where I did a video like four days ago that doesn't rank on the search engines. And we've already had over 100 people click that video and watch it, which means I probably picked up some leads. So repurpose. So we do our research. We do our blog post.

Repurpose that blog post. Create a video. Get it up on YouTube. There's Metacafe. There's a bunch of video sites.

YouTube, of course, is the biggest one. But why stop at one? Go create accounts on five or six video accounts and get your videos up there. You want to repurpose that same blog post you did and go distribute it to the article directories. There's some big ones out there, Ezine Articles, Article Base.

Both. Puzzle. Go. Articles. Article Snatch.

And what's kind of unique about these article directories is for some people that is their preferred search engine. I might start my search, my internet search, on Google. You might start your internet search on YouTube. Others might start their search like my son. He always starts on YouTube.

Other people start on Ezine Articles. They start looking. That's where they start their search. Go take advantage of that. So, again, you can go take that same blog post, reword it a little bit, make it a little bit unique, and go distribute it to these article directories.

And, again, you can do that by hand, or you can buy some cheap software that will let you do it for you. But you want to distribute that content out for that same keyword in multiple article directories. That's going to drive even more free traffic. It doesn't have to rank, because the traffic is going to come from the people within the system, the people that like to start their search with Ezine Articles.

You then want to take and repurpose your content and publish it on forums. Again, think who's your target market. In this case, I'm going after, for this particular keyword, MLM recruiting, it would be network marketers or people interested in making money. So I'm going to go find forums where that target market tends to be. The target market tends to hang out.

Warrior Forum is a good place for business opportunity seekers. So if you're looking for people to make money, which is what Empower Network is all about, or how to make money blogging, or how to make money in affiliate marketing, Warrior Forum is perfect. So is Better Networker. Both of those are forums. You can go sign up for free and start posting a blog post on their forum.

Because they have tens of thousands of people that like their network, you're going to get a lot of traffic. So in this case, again, I did the blog post. We got 501 views. We did the video, got 150 views without ranking.

Look at the bottom right hand corner here. 387 views within a week of me posting on that forum. Again, this did not rank on the search engines. It hasn't had time to rank yet. And we got really good results.

Really close to 400 people read that and clicked my link. And so post on, find out where the people are hanging out, and go post on those forums. And here's a big one. This is the one that saved me post-Panda. Post-Panda, post-Penguin, when I lost 40% of my traffic overnight.

This is what got my traffic back within 30 days without ranking on the search engines. We never missed a beat. I never lost a commission. Post Panda, Penguin. And a lot of people still today, 10 months later, have not recovered from Panda, Penguin.

We did it in less than 30 days, and this is exactly how we do it. So again, this is how you can get traffic overnight without ranking on the search engines. Document sharing sites, or sites that allow you to repurpose or publish your content in different formats. So you can take your blog post, and I'll show you how to do that live here in a minute. And take that blog post that you just put on your Empower Network blog, and with a click of your mouse, turn that into a PDF document, I forget the term of that.

But it's a PDF document. You could turn it into a Word document. You could turn it into a PowerPoint document. If you went and created a video, one of the ways you might have done that is create a PowerPoint document. You create your video.

Boom. You create a video. Well, you also have a PowerPoint. So you take that PowerPoint and you repurpose it by putting it on the document sharing sites. You did a blog post.

You turn it into a PDF. You repurpose it and put that PDF on these document sharing sites. So again, here's two different document sharing sites. One was DocStoc. One was SlideShare.net.

I took that same blog post, turned it into a PDF, put it up on DocStoc, and get 644 visits within a week. Take that same blog post, that same PDF, put it up on SlideShare.net. Absolutely free. Doesn't cost you a dime. And within three days – look, document uploaded three days ago – 761 people saw that document and became leads.

So you don't have to rank to get traffic. Ranking and getting traffic takes a while. It takes some time. You don't have to wait all that time to get some incredible massive traffic. So again, here's an example of low search.

MLM recruiting secrets, if we look at that picture there, you see there was only 210 people per month. You know, the keyword tools tell me 210 people per month were searching for MLM recruiting secrets. So I do a blog post. We rank really fast. Four hours, go, boom.

There we are. Our video ranks really fast. Boom. There we are. We're ranking.

But according to the keyword tool, there's not a lot of people searching for it. So you think you're kind of wasting your time. Well, let me show you something. Here we go. 501 views from my blog.

135 views from YouTube. 387 views from the forum. 761 views from one of the document sharing sites. 344 views from another document sharing site. From a keyword that Google told me only 200 people were searching for.

Keep in mind, only 200 people per month were searching Google. But we had obviously more people searching YouTube. Obviously more people searching the forums. Obviously more people searching the article directories and the document sharing sites. So even with low volume keywords, you can get a massive, massive.

Amount of traffic. So that's what we call posting on purpose for traffic. So let me go show you some live examples here. Let me show you real quick. I'm up on the internet.

A website called Zinepal.com. It's absolutely free. This is where you can take your blog post. You just did a blog post. You put it up on your Empower Network blog or your personal blog.

You type in your blog post address. You just type it in. So whatever your blog post is. Blog dot multiple streams of income. And you click this button right here that says create a story.

And it's going to create a PDF document that looks something like one of these down here. It's going to create a document just like this. You then download that document. And you run up over to one of the document sharing sites. Here's my account for SlideShare.

Again, it's absolutely free. You just go sign up an account. And I'm going to go to my documents. I'll show you my documents here. So these are the PDFs that I've uploaded.

And there's a whole bunch of them. Every blog post I do, I go post here. Let me show you something. Let me go do that article writing one. Article writing.

Let's go search for this. I posted this about a year ago. And it's got 596 views. Now that's not a whole lot. But here's something that may take your breath away.

Let me go to Google first. Let me show you something. I'm going to actually search for Empower Network on Google. Now I used to rank number two or three or four up on Empower Network. Today, I rank on the second page.

So you think, oh, that's a bummer, Rob. It is a bummer. But let me show you something. Let me go to my blog first. This is actually the back of my blog, my personal blog.

Here's the post I did for Empower Network. Let me get my little thing here. Right down here. Here's Empower Network. Now I wrote that back in November of last year.

Because I ranked on the search engines on the front page for quite a while, until the past month, somebody knocked me off to page two – we've got 48,000 visitors because of SEO. So 48,000 people have clicked on that, visited my blog post, and quite a few of them have joined Empower Network. Well, now I no longer rank on page one. So I'm not going to get a lot of traffic. If you don't rank on page one, you're not going to get a lot of traffic.

But let me show you. Here's the one I did for article writing. It got 596 views. Now let me show you this. Now this may take your breath away.

Let's go from Empower Network. Now, again, this does not rank. Let me show you. Keep in mind SlideShare. Let's go back to the search engine.

This SlideShare does not rank anywhere on this front page. It does not exist as far as Google is concerned. It does not exist as far as Bing and Yahoo are concerned. It only exists on SlideShare. So let's go look at this.

Now if this doesn't take your breath away, I don't know what would. In eight months, 20,000 views without ranking. In eight months, 20,000. Over 20,000 people have started at SlideShare for whatever reason. I mean, I never even knew of the site before.

For whatever reason, they start at SlideShare and they use it like a search engine. And in the last eight months, over 20,000 people have found my blog post about Empower Network. You do not need to rank on the search engines to get incredible off-the-hook traffic. You don't need to do it. So it's pretty incredible.

Now let's go. Let me see. How do I get rid of this thing? Okay. So I'm going to actually go to SlideShare all by itself.

So here's the SlideShare site. Now it works just like a search engine. Let's type in article writing software, which is something I did. And it produces a search. I'm doing something wrong here.

And here's our search results. And here's all the documents that people were looking for. And you may or may not rank here. It doesn't matter. They get so much traffic that you're just going to get free traffic.

So SlideShare.net is a very good place to go. Now here's the other thing you can do. Once you post your little SlideShare – so let's go back up here to my account – once you post your little thing, you can actually share these and repurpose it other places. One of the places you can share it on is Pinterest.

Pinterest is kind of a new kid on the block, and people just share these pictures. And people look at these pictures, I guess. I mean, I don't get it, but a lot of people look. And if you look at this, here's some popular posts where, you know, some of these posts are getting all kinds of people. Here's a guy.

392 people looked at this picture and shared it on the Internet. 390. It's a picture of a couch. Here's a picture of some money. Look at all these people sharing it.

Well, you can do the same thing then. You take your documents. You share them on Pinterest. So let's go to my Pinterest account. And let's go to, I guess, my boards, I guess.

I don't know. And then I have a little place called Document Sharing. So if we go into this Document Sharing thing, here's pictures of all my blog posts. And again, it gets a lot of traffic, a lot of people. For some reason, don't ask me why, they go up to Pinterest and they hang out.

So Pinterest works the same. If we did article writing, just like a search engine, software, and we searched Pinterest, in Pinterest terms, boom, I show up number one. One of the reasons – one of the reasons why I promote other things designed to attract the person most likely to join Empower Network if they knew it existed – is it's easier. So I did article writing software.

Boom, there we are. If they're looking for this, they click on it. And somewhere down here is a link to my blog. And they run over to my blog. And in this blog post, we talk about the article writing software they were looking for.

But more important, I talk about Empower Network. So even though I'm writing about article writing software, we're promoting Empower Network. Well, I showed you how easy it was to rank. But now let's do Empower Network. Let's go for the granddaddy.

Now notice there's only 12 results there. There are hundreds of Pinterest. There's David. There's Eric. I mean, there's just hundreds of people that have coded this for me.

There are hundreds of people that have coded this for Empower Network. Why try to climb that mountain when you don't need to? You can come in through the back door by attracting people a different way. Here's all my buddies. Here's Lawrence.

Here's the pretty GoDaddy girl. All my buddies. So take and repurpose your content. Document sharing sites, Pinterest. What do we got here?

Okay, here's YouTube. Just the other day, I wanted to share this with you. And I was going after article marketing again, to attract the person most likely to buy Empower Network if they knew it exists, which is a person trying to make money. So I do – four days ago, right here, I do a new video.

It's a little cartoon. It took like five minutes to do this video, 111 views. And it does not rank on the search engines. Not enough time has gone by to rank on the search engines. But where it does rank is YouTube.

And I'll show you. We go to YouTube. I forgot what the keyword was. Article writing software reviews. And we search Google or YouTube just like a search engine.

And here we are, one, two, three, four, five. We rank number five. And it's actually gone up. It's gone up to 149 views. And again, once they land on that blog post, they may buy that software, but I'm actually promoting Empower Network.

So that's what I have. That's what I wanted to share with you guys. So I'm basically done, David. I just wanted to share. You can take the content, do our keyword research.

Keep in mind, you need to have an intention. What do you want your blog post to do? Do you want to secure a lead? Do you want somebody to actually buy something? Think about the person most likely to buy whatever it is you are promoting.

Who's that person? Who's that niche market? Or their business? Are they frustrated networkers? Are they people interested in learning more about affiliate marketing?

Maybe they're trying to learn about how to market on YouTube. Well, a person looking to figure out how to market on YouTube is trying to make money. That's the perfect prospect for Empower Network. So I never had to say Empower Network. Hey, do you want to join Empower Network?

Say, hey, do you want to learn how to make more money using YouTube? They go, yeah, what do you got? I create content. I publish it all over the place. Here are seven ways to make more money using YouTube.

And while they're there, I go, oh, by the way, what are you trying to make money on YouTube doing? What are you selling? Are you doing AdSense to make little nickel commissions every time somebody leaves your site? Are you promoting ClickBank products and earning a little tiny 50% commission? Are you promoting Amazon to earn, ooh, a 4% commission if they buy your barbecue pit?

What if I could show you a way to earn 100% commissions? Oh, click here. Oh, by the way. See, they're looking for YouTube marketing. They're looking for article builders.

They're looking for how to generate MLM leads. But those are perfect target market. So while we have them, we go, oh, by the way, let's take a look at something that will absolutely blow your mind. So do that. And so by using all of those free methods, I was able to get back the 40% of the traffic that I lost literally overnight.

And we got that back within 30 days. Today, that has become one of the most powerful techniques we do. So when I do a blog post, we do a blog post. We share it on SlideShare. We share it on DocStoc.

We share it on Box. We create a video. We add it to three or four different forum posts. We add it to Squidoo. We add it to HubPages.

And we just repurpose it. We repurpose that content. It doesn't have to rank. And we get just a boatload of traffic. So there we go.

Traffic leads make money. One second. Can you hear me, Rob? Wait. David?

You hear me? I can. Yeah, yeah. Good stuff, man. A couple things I want to point out here real quick that you said, but just some people aren't going to get it because they're looking for something that's not there.

And then I want to open it up for some questions. You got a few minutes. You got a few minutes? Yeah, yeah. I'm good.

Okay. Cool, cool, cool. First of all, one thing that I think is a really important thing to point out is that ranking on Google is not everything. And a lot of people, when I got started, I was doing stuff when I got started. I mean, we're talking three years ago that now, if I did that, would just instantly get my site deleted off of Google.

Right. 10,000 backlinks to the direct article. Yeah. Yeah. Every article directory, 8 million software sites.

I mean, I was a spammer from hell like you, right? Right. But with valuable content, it still sold stuff. But one thing I think a lot of people miss is that even some of that stuff will get you kicked off of Google if you do it improperly. If you spam a million article directories with the same exact stuff.

However, I always got an enormous amount of traffic from everything that I put my content to. I mean, even, you know, random article directories that were ranked really low, that didn't have tons of traffic. I'd go back six months later, an article I'd written, I'd posted there, you'd have six or seven or 800 views. You actually get traffic from all the places that you put your stuff. So a lot of people don't think about that.

They're just trying to rank. And I think it's a valuable insight. Well, yeah, that's absolutely right. So that's one of the – yeah, you're absolutely right. So it's one of those things where.

Because you are repurposing that content, distributing it far and wide, you're going to get traffic leads and sales way before you ever may rank. And you made a good point, David, that one of the challenges to doing SEO is Google will always change their algorithm. They'll always change the mathematical criteria required to get a good ranking. So you can rank wonderfully well today. Right now, I rank really well for a lot of stuff.

Tomorrow, they can get a good ranking. But they change their algorithm, and I don't rank at all. So Google should not be the only thing that you're doing. And you shouldn't be going just after ranking. Because eventually, you will lose it.

I mean, over the years, you know, I'd be ranking really well. And probably over the years, I probably lost my ranking four or five times. And it's a do-over every time. But if you're using these tools and repurposing your content, it doesn't make the do-over so painful. Because you're still getting traffic leads and sales.

Without ever ranking. And YouTube's wonderful. You know, one of the things you taught me is I wasn't comfortable doing videos in the beginning. And I watched you do these crazy jump-in-the-ocean videos, shake your head and talk about nothing. And I would say, man, this guy's got like 5,000 video views.

How in the world? And it was just because you were providing valuable content. And you were putting your videos where people who watch videos go. And that's really what we're doing. We're just getting our content in front of the people.

Before they're actually hanging out. Yeah, yeah. No, no. It's a super valuable insight. The other thing that I want to point out.

And just, you know, we talk about this a lot. But rankings take time. You know? I mean, you've been, you know, for your rankings, you rank all over the place. You know what I mean?

It's, I think, more so than about anybody out there. But you've been doing this for a long time. And you've been working on those rankings for like three years straight. Rankings do take time. And you can get traffic before you rank.

I think it's – absolutely. Yeah, absolutely you can.

In fact, you can get way more traffic before you rank than you probably ever will even after you rank. And you're measuring, you know, the actual clicks to that because you rank. Today, post Panda Penguin, it used to be, prior to February and April of this year, I could literally do a keyword, write a blog post, do my SEO stuff, and get on the front page of Google in seven to ten days. Today, knowing what I know – and I'm probably an expert at what I do.

It takes me two to three months to rank now. Even knowing what I know and having the tools that I have, it's just harder and takes longer. So for me personally, I do all of this other stuff way before I ever try to rank, because I'm going to get the traffic leads and sales overnight versus having to wait two or three months. Now, a question that I've got for you here, and then I want to open it up for a couple of questions. People have got on the side.

So guys, don't be slamming us with questions right now, because it'll stack up and we'll get a million questions. Actually, two questions I've got. First one is, you talked about target markets, that the best people to sell to are the people who are the most likely to buy. The people most likely to buy are the people who are trying to make money. And I think a lot of times, people get a little bit too narrow.

And, you know, we've got 8,000 people all trying to go after three keywords. And the reality is, that is true. However, there's a lot of related markets to – I mean, you take network marketing, for example, there's a lot of very closely related markets that aren't specifically network marketing, but a tremendous amount of people want to either make money in the market or make more money online or whatever it is. What are some markets that are just some broad general markets outside of specifically network marketing, MLM, where we get really good results?

Where we get really good conversions, you found, and high buyers and stuff like that, from just different types of keywords. There's a million of them, but I mean, there's just going to be some ideas for people. Yeah, there's a million of them. And I think that is one of the biggest challenges. I think people are too narrow focused.

But if you just, you know, I look at the three big ones. And to me, the three big ones are people already in network marketing, people already interested or already engaged in affiliate marketing of some kind, and then people who are looking to get started in either affiliate marketing or network marketing. So we got the active networkers who are struggling and they're broke. We've got the active affiliate marketers who are struggling and broke. Then we got the guys who haven't started to play yet.

They're just, you know, the classic business opportunity seeker. I want to start a home-based business. So you say, okay, well, those are the three major niches. But within those niches, if we get off of the big keywords like how to make money blogging, you know, that's next to impossible to go after. Well, if you go do your keyword research and say, well, if they're looking for a way to how to make money blogging, what else might they be looking for?

Oh, article writing software, blog backlinks, traffic to my blog. There's all kinds of ways that they're looking to figure out how to make money blogging. You got network marketing, you got MLM, multi-level. You got MLM leads, MLM lead generation, network marketing leads, networking. How about all the social media guys?

If they're out there looking for how do I increase my ClickBank income? Oh, that's an affiliate marketer looking to make money. How do I do Facebook ads? Well, the person looking for information about Facebook ads is trying to promote something, which tells us they're trying to make money. That's our perfect target market.

So, I mean, you can dig so deep. The universe is so big. I literally have a list of keywords that if I did one keyword per day, it would take me nine years to go through them all. It's crazy. Yeah.

No, I agree with you. Let's dive into just some questions that we've got on the side. First of all, I think Chris Record is on the panelist line again. Chris, are you there? Let's see if he had any questions, if he's around, because he does good stuff.

All right. Let's bring some stuff out over to the side. Hold on a second here. All right. We've got a million people asking questions.

Okay, guys, I'm going to ignore all the questions that were already asked. I'm here, David. Oh, you're there? Interesting strategy, I think. But what are your thoughts, and do you have any questions for Rob?

Well, I guess the first thing I want to start with is just that when I first started in Empower Network, I want to just be honest. I just want to be totally transparent here. Rob was actually somebody that I looked up to big time. Pretty much everywhere I would search related to anything in Empower Network, Rob would show up.

I mean, just everywhere. Secondly, when I first started, I actually modeled after Rob. Rob doesn't know this. I was like Rob's little stalker. He just didn't know it at the time.

And I basically modeled after him. I mean, look, I've been in the game for a little while, but I'm not afraid to admit that I can learn some things along the way. And basically just watching Rob, I love learning by example. Like, David, when you speak, I know you'll be training something, but I'll be studying how you're speaking, what you're saying, what you're doing.

That kind of stuff just turns me on to be able to figure out how I can leverage that to improve my business. Same thing with Rob. I mean, watching his writing style. I'll give you an example, just one simple thing that I picked up from this webinar.

It was said early on, and it just made a whole lot of sense to me, was you've only got a handful of seconds before somebody clicks the back button when they visit your website. So here's something I've never really taken into consideration before today. I mean, I'm telling you, just this one little tip out of all of them that Rob shared. Every single blog post from now on, I swear I'm going to do something to keep that in mind, that I've only got five or six seconds to grab their attention before they possibly hit the back button. And I know I could do a better job of that.

And I'm almost wondering if Rob just helped me double or triple the retention rate of my blog. Just with, I mean, the simplest little techniques like that, you know, Rob probably just has a habit out of it. He probably doesn't even realize how powerful – or maybe he does realize, that's why he put it up front – how powerful that is. But I just love modeling. I love modeling after people.

And, you know, Rob is very humble. He'll kind of joke at himself, saying he doesn't really know all that much half the time, but he does. Rob, you're incredibly intelligent. You do a phenomenal job. You do it right.

You do it very, very seriously. And you inspired me. One of the reasons that I'm spending so much time blogging with Empower Network, and I, too, have made most of my money blogging, is purely because I saw that it was possible through your example. You're one of the few examples that I saw – hey, here's somebody who is out there blogging, generating leads, generating a ton of traffic, and converting that into business, pretty much on autopilot, and keeping most of the overhead, keeping your overhead down, keeping your profits high. And it's just inspired me.

So, you know, sure, I have a couple questions, but before that, I just wanted to make sure, Rob, that you know I got a ton of respect for you, bro. You're leading by example. You're paying it forward. You're an awesome dude. Well, you know, it's kind of cool, Chris, because what you don't know is I'm one of your secret stalkers as well, because I'm sitting there looking at the leaderboards.

You know, we always, you know, Dave and Dave always put up these great affiliate contests. I'm looking at the leaderboards going, man, Chris is just rocking it. So all of a sudden, I'm spying on you. I'm on your blogs. I'm on your YouTubes.

I'm on your Facebook. I'm going, what's this guy doing? So that's the neat thing that I love about our community. Yes, we, in a sense, are in a competitive market, but it's much more than that. We're in a cooperative community where we do pay it forward. We do learn from each other.

We don't mind sharing what we really do to help everybody. And so it's just been a pleasure and honor. Thank you. I'm honored to actually watch you do what you do. And I've actually learned a few things, but I ain't going to share it.

Yeah, no, I love it. I mean, look, David, I know you just kind of called me out here on a whim and said, hey, you got any questions? I mean, Rob covered so much, it's hard to say, you know, okay, what more you got. I mean, he just covered basically the gold mine on this kind of stuff. You know, I think, Rob, okay, how about this one, Rob?

One of the biggest things is the mindset in blogging. And early on in the webinar, in the first quarter of it or whatever, you basically – I know you went out of your way to tell people, look, SEO is a strategy that's, you know, a long-term strategy. It doesn't happen overnight. And you're vulnerable to all of these things changing overnight, your entire business. Right.

You know, I know you told the story about, you know – I'm trying to remember back – you told a story about even, I think, you didn't get blacklisted, but your traffic, I guess, dropped significantly very, very early on. Right. And you're very susceptible to these things, but yet you keep going. And the thought that comes to my mind is I get questions all the time from people on my team that say, Chris, I want to start blogging.

I want to drive traffic to my blog. I want to do this, but it takes so long, you know. And not only does it take so long, but people give up. People tend to give up really, really early on. So I guess my question to you – or if you would address everybody listening, I know there's so many people that are brand new right now.

Right. And one of the most common things that happens is they get started. They get all hyped up and fired up. They bought the 15K formula. They're watching these webinars.

What are a couple pieces of advice you can give them to just not give up early on, you know, because sometimes you don't see results instantly. As much as we try to get them, the fact of the matter is that we're all at different learning curves. We're all at different places in our business. What advice do you have for brand new people that, you know, are in their first month, second month, whatever it is – they went all in so they could get this training. And they're going to be susceptible to something not working for them, and they're going to want to give up.

What kind of advice would you have to those people that are listening in right now? Yeah. It was – and I have to give kudos to David Wood on this one too – because when I first started on the internet, you know, I joined this program that he was in. I had actually joined that same program a year before under somebody else. And I took one look, because keep in mind, at the time I was building my business.

You know, the belly-to-belly way. And at the time, so I joined this thing, I look at the back office, and I got so overwhelmed and confused because there was SEO and YouTube and this and that. I got so overwhelmed and confused. Literally within three weeks, I quit.

Canceled. I'm done. A year later, I come back under David Wood. And what I did when I came back is I made a decision to do exactly the same thing. Right.

Exactly and specifically, because David was my model. So I'm going to do exactly and specifically what David says, without question, for 90 days. And at the end – I mean, honestly, do it – whatever he says to do, I'm going to do. And what he was doing with that program is the same thing he's doing here.

Blog daily. Tell other people about it. And cash a check. And it's like, okay, I'm going to do it. So I, you know, I had to study.

I had to learn the keyword research. I had to learn all this stuff. And the first 90 days was brutal. What takes me an hour and a half today used to take me six hours and two days back then. But I made a decision.

I'm going to do it for 90 days. I will not quit. I will not allow myself the luxury of second guessing. Oh, maybe I should do YouTube. Maybe I should do Facebook.

No second guessing. I picked my model. I'm going to stick with it for 90 days. At the end of 90 days, I'll sit back, look at the results, if there are any, and make a decision from that point, whether to move forward or not.

So I think, like any other business, you know, if we go do a brick and mortar business, a dirt world business – we were going to go start an ice cream store. We've got all this investment in the building and the equipment and the ice cream and the inventory. And then we got to learn how to actually serve ice cream and sell ice cream. You know, most dirt world businesses take two and a half years, two to two and a half years to become profitable. Here we have an opportunity where people want to get in, make one blog post, do a Facebook blast, and think they're going to get rich overnight.

It just, in my experience, doesn't happen that way. It just takes time. And you will get better at it. Like you shared, Chris, just you shared that one little tip – I'm going to go put a catchy sentence right at the top of my blog post – will probably double your business.

So we're never done learning. But in the beginning, when you're first starting, we got to learn how to walk. We got to learn how to run. We got to learn how to do it before we can run. And you got to give yourself permission.

I call it giving yourself a little bit of grace. Give yourself a little bit of grace to put on the student cap and to take longer than you think it should. And if you allow yourself to stick with it, because it is taking longer than you think it should, the result will be bigger and more glorious than you ever thought it would be. But you have to stick it out to do it. Yeah, it's powerful.

It's powerful stuff. And to give that example, the thought that came into my mind is how, when you watch movies – when you go to a movie theater, when you rent a movie at home or something – the first couple minutes of the movie, like let's say it's an action movie, they'll start out right up front with a powerful action scene, something that will just draw you in. I mean, my favorite are like the James Bond movies, where right off the bat, it will instantly start with just some crazy hectic scene that's just nonstop. And then finally it just sucks you in and draws you in. And then it gets into the whole background and the story and the love story and all this other stuff that's a little bit slower and drawn out.

If they started with the slower drawn out stuff, you know, I think it would lose people right off the bat. But they start with just something powerful to basically captivate you in the initial part of that movie, to make you want to commit to the full movie. So you capture someone's attention in the first – you've only got that first moment, that first window of opportunity, first chance to make a first impression. And you've only got that small window. You capture them.

You do something powerful to capture them in. And then once you've got them in, now they're willing to commit to hearing out the full content. And that's when you can really tell the story, and you can really move to a sales pitch. So when you were giving that part of the training, which we're talking about again here, that's the thought that went on my mind. It's like, wow, that's really how a movie is lined out.

You know, it's obvious. Put some powerful stuff up front to suck people in, to draw people in. Once you've got their attention, then let it flow. And that's – I mean, I know I'm only pulling on one little thing here out of the whole entire webinar. But that movie analogy really worked for me, because what you're saying is, you know, hey, the very first thing they should be reading is – beyond purpose –

The very first thing they should be reading is exactly what it is they're looking for. So you're sort of clarifying for them, hey, this is what you're looking for, and I've got it. I've got exactly what you're looking for. So you're basically saying, hey, look, no need to go anywhere else. You found it.

So go ahead. Save it. Sit back. Take a minute and read what I've got to share with you. And, like you said, you're going to read all the way through and buy everything that you have to sell.

I have found myself not doing that as often. I'm going to be honest here. I can think of numerous times where, you know, it never crossed my mind to deal with the fact of that bounce rate, to deal with that fact that people are going to bounce off your site so quickly if you don't do that. And so I really think – I mean, I honestly think, some people feel I'm an advanced blogger. Some people feel like I've already arrived somewhere in terms of knowing what to do.

And yet I can come here and pay to be on these webinars and learn from my peers on strategies that can double or triple the duration people stay on my site. You know, what I'm going to do is I'm going to look at my Google Analytics tonight. I'm going to take a few screenshots. And what I'm going to do is – I'm a take massive action kind of guy – I'm going to take what you've taught, and I'm going to go ahead and apply it over the next literally 30 days.

And I'm going to go ahead and check my screenshots 30 days from now. And I'll probably shoot you over a personal email with it. Because I just want to check to see, you know, the average time someone spends on the site. I'll take a little screenshot of that figure that Google Analytics shows us. You know, how long is the average visitor on your site?

And then I'm going to apply this Rob Four magic, this Empower Network magic, to it. And I wouldn't be surprised if that number increases 50% or 100% even. Or, you know, I don't want to go crazy, but it's very possible – I was doing it so wrong for so long that I might even increase it 200% or more, just because you're right. It just makes sense.

It's one of those moments where I'm sitting here just kind of hitting my head against the wall long enough until my ears finally popped out. So they popped out tonight, man. Well, it's pretty cool, because I've seen your content, and your content is pretty engaging anyway. Because you just have this magical genius of tying in wonderful graphics, and your flow is perfect. So, yeah, you add that, and it's game over.

Oh, it's game over. Plus all the instant traffic stuff. You know, I have to admit, I'm a little bit more of an SEO guy, and a little bit more of a – you know, I mean, you obviously – people saw the last couple 15K webinars I did, they kind of know what my style is. But, man, you know, just what I'm learning.

Look, real quick, let me address anybody listening in. Okay, look, you paid money to be on this program. Okay, you're here. You're going through this. I'm going to tell you right now, I've been in this industry for a while.

And I have not seen training like what Rob Four put together. And this is just one of, you know, however many modules it's going to end up being when it's all done. And just to know, to know that you're in a company with real quality training, to know that you're actually getting, to know you're learning from pros who are actually doing it. You know, for instance, Rob Four is not a guy who several years ago made a name in SEO back when, you know, back in 2005 or something when it was pretty new, and made a big name.

And he's just been traveling and speaking ever since. No, I mean, literally, when I joined Empower Network six months ago, his strategies were ranking him at the top for almost everything. Still to this day, it's been unwavering. You can find Rob Four in almost every search, not just Empower Network related searches, but just network marketing related searches, MLM related searches. I mean, you name it, he's picked and pulled.

You know, the topic of his marketing was posting on purpose for profit. And he's an actual student of that process. I mean, if you go, you can clearly see Rob has decided an industry to go after. That's his purpose. He's posted content that's specifically targeted for that industry.

Okay, that's his posting. And he's profiting because he has a business model like Empower Network, which is a good match for that audience. And that's why, if you were to go today, if you were watching this today live, if you were going to go to the competition leaderboard for a current contest, you know, you're going to see Rob Four right up there on top or near the top. I mean, it keeps changing every day, but he's just skyrocketing. Okay.

And it's like, don't you love learning from people who are actually doing it and it's actually working in today's market, versus learning from people who just, you know, just learned it once, but what they're teaching you is archaic and it doesn't even work in today's market. And that's kind of like David Wood. The fact that David Wood is literally repurposing this entire 15K formula training to be more up-to-date, more fresh, it means that David Wood's working out of his heart here for the team. You know, he doesn't have to do this. He doesn't have to bring all of us out here, and we don't have to volunteer.

We could all just keep selling the existing 15K formula. But because we know that the times change, the industry changes, there's this valuable content that everybody gets to pay for. And I just – so I'm just, what I'm summarizing here is that Rob, I love learning from people who – you can look at their results, and it's real. What you're actually teaching really works. And there's evidence of that.

So if we can get out of our own way and just follow your teaching and just put this stuff and take massive action with it, I'm confident that we can go out there and get similar results to you. And we can go out there and we can get our names on leaderboards, and we can get the traffic like you. We can make the money that you're making. But we have to get out of our own way. We have to unlearn all this garbage that people taught us, you know, that they learned years ago that doesn't even work anymore.

You got to learn what's working in today's market. Rob, just listen, I just showed you that. And he has no holds barred. He'll teach you anything.

Rob's one of the most transparent guys I know. So, you know, look, I'm not saying we should just go back and forth at a love fest here. That's not the point. The point is, man, the point is I, as a student, love this stuff. Man, I, as a student, I appreciate you for sharing.

You're getting more value in a $1,000 purchase than $20,000 purchases. It's freaking crazy. And I love you guys. Yeah. Yeah.

Let me share this, Chris, because I think you just made an awesome, incredible point there that I really, really hope people take to heart, is everything you need to have absolute, massive, incredible success you will find within the confines of Empower Network. There is no reason in the world for you to step out and go buy somebody else's how-to-do-YouTube product, how-to-do-SEO product, because you have a couple challenges there. One, you're spending more money you don't need to spend. Just upgrade into Empower Network. But two, Chris had it spot on.

You might be buying a product that produced a result two years ago. Or right now, if it's SEO, as little as 10 months ago what used to work, as David was sharing early on, will get you banned, booted, and de-indexed today. So you buy a product that somebody produced a year ago, you will ruin your results. We're here within Empower Network, especially in this 15K area – we're getting, as Chris shared, what's working today, what's working right now. And that is so incredibly valuable.

It's insane. And you do need to take your ego off. I mean, I have had to do the same thing. Where I go back in and I watch these trainings and go, they know what's working today. How do I know?

They're on the leaderboards. How do I know? That's how I know it's working today. That's the person I'm going to follow. Not some product that's been out there two, three years.

It's just stupid. Hey, something I want to point out here too, is just a couple things based on, you know, the stuff you guys talked about. And then, guys, everybody listening to the webinar, if you have questions, what I actually want you to do is if you could just log in, click on the tab for the 15K formula and write your questions in the comments there. We'll pull out a couple of them and answer them.

But a couple of things that I want to talk about. Number one is how to apply this, okay? Anytime we teach any new content strategy, there's going to be somebody on the webinar who says, God, this is going to take me all day and night – the reality is what he just showed you in the entire webinar might take five minutes, right, once you got it down. First time you do it, it might take an hour, an hour and a half, because you're rewatching the webinar and figuring it out and looking at your notes. But the actual strategy might take five minutes, okay?

But here's a kind of rule of thumb, okay: first of all, blog daily like we've been talking about. Use the information. I like, Chris, I think the webinar you did, the number two on how to create content in an hour or less, speed blogging, I thought that was the best webinar on that. Just pure content creation and keeping it compressed into a short period of time, that I've ever seen in my life. That was an incredible training.

Use that information to create your content fast. Guys, don't spend all day and night, especially if you're new, creating your content. Massive temptation to do it. Go back to what we said before. Create something in an hour or less, and then spend an hour syndicating it, okay?

And you might find the first time you try some of this stuff that maybe it'll take you two hours or three hours or four hours to follow every single one of the strategies we laid out in this webinar, and Chris Record's stuff that he went over and back-linking for SEO, and you don't have time to do it. Just do it for an hour and stop, and the next day syndicate a little bit differently. And what you'll find is you'll be able to do this stuff really, really, really fast in a couple of weeks. It really doesn't take a lot of time. So just spend an hour blogging, an hour syndicating, and get it done fast, is my suggestion to you, to keep it real, okay?

The other thing that I want to talk about, just for a second, is – you know, Rob talked about when somebody clicks, you've got five seconds for them to feel like they landed on the right page before they leave. How do you do that? How do you get people to land on a page if they're searching for something and want to stay? Here's what I'm going to say, okay? If somebody's looking for dog shoes and they click on an article that says, you know, pink dog shoes.

Okay, that's ridiculous, because I don't know if there's such a thing, but there probably is. And then they click on the article, and somehow you schemed Google into ranking an article on the top that had a line about dog shoes and then eight pages about network marketing. People are going to leave the site, okay? It's really important, guys, to, especially because we have a massive, massive contest, provide value for what people are searching for. If people are looking for MLM recruiting tactics, right, teach them some MLM recruiting tactics.

Maybe something you learned off an Inner Circle audio. Maybe something that you heard on one of these calls. Maybe a lead generation tactic. Teach them something relevant to that strategy, and they're going to want to stay. They're going to want to read.

They're going to want to buy your stuff. That's my two cents. If you do that, guys, compress times, okay? Have an intention of doing it an hour or less, okay? You're going to learn this stuff and you're going to get a lot of value out of it fast.

The most important part is to blog every day, right, and then to spend an equivalent amount of time, an hour, syndicating your content. That's the formula to make money from blogging. Now that formula – now here's the interesting thing, Rob. The strategies have absolutely changed in the last three years. I mean, 18 times.

You know what I mean? Oh, at least, yeah. I mean, when I did it, I could just take an article submitter and just submit, you know, the same article to eight million directories and get a bunch of traffic and rankings. That's how easy it was, right? And then it changed, and then it altered.

But I'll tell you what hasn't changed: spend an hour blogging and do it every day, then spend an hour syndicating and getting traffic to the blog, and then do it again the next day. Everybody who's kept doing that for the last three years has continued to get more traffic, because you can adapt your strategy when the strategy changes. So don't worry about Google changing their algorithms. That's my two cents. Let's go through some questions.

Let's see. We got a bunch that have popped up here. Some people wrote some hilarious comments. Thank you, Rob. Tears of joy.

Let's see if this is a question. If you guys want to log in and look at the questions that are popping up, too. All right. I don't think that this is actually even a question.

Okay. I want to thank everyone. Okay. Hey, Zach, I wouldn't worry about that, first of all. That's not really related to the subject of this training, so I'm not going to answer that.

You can put it in a support ticket if you want. Okay. This is a question, Clint. Maybe for a bonus webinar or something like that. Not really relevant to the...

Guys, if you have some questions that are relevant to this training, it would be useful. And if not, we can just move on. Some secret tools that you use. I think we do another webinar on that, too. Do you use any tools to do this?

Yeah. I think we do the tools. Well, no, actually, most of this is pretty manual.

Well, to the article directories, yes. We use either of those. Yeah.

Yeah. And yes. We use either Article Marketing Robot or one of the better ones that I like today is Spin Distribute, which, instead of buying software, you pay on a per-post basis. It's like $3 a post. And then it sends it out to 800 article directories.

So it takes you like 3 minutes and $3 to go to 800 article directories. But the biggest powerful one out of what we talked about tonight is really SlideShare, DocStoc, and YouTube. So of course it takes a minute to create a YouTube video, but the DocStoc and SlideShare – it takes about five minutes, and maybe there's software to do it, I don't know, but we do it manually where we create a PDF of our blog post, and then we just manually upload it to SlideShare, DocStoc, click a button to share it over on Pinterest. And I was just seeing in one of the comments that a guy says that SlideShare is also shared on LinkedIn, so thank you very much for that, because we'll be clicking that button now, and putting it on LinkedIn as well. So it's very fast and easy to do.

Like you said, David, when they first start, it's going to be like, oh, I don't know what to do, so it'll take you way longer to do it the first week than it will a month from now. Okay, a couple of good questions here. Somebody said on image creation, because you're uploading this to image sharing sites, are you just taking a photo of your slides, or what are you using to create the images? Actually, yeah, no, actually I do it all from SlideShare, so once I create the PDF and put it up on SlideShare, SlideShare has a share button that automatically apparently takes a screenshot of it and puts it on Pinterest. You clearly just click your mouse. You don't do anything, yeah, you just click a button.

Okay, okay, that answers that question. Somebody said, is backlinking still effective? They asked that to me, but that's a good question to direct at you anyways. Yeah, backlinking is still effective. You have to go after a variety.

A variety of backlinks. You know, backlinks will always be effective, but you can't spam them. It used to be we could go get a million backlinks, just spam the crap out of forums or whatever, and rank all over the place. Today, if you do that, you'll actually get banned and de-indexed from the search engines. So today, not so much quantity as it is quality, and what Google's looking for today is really social engagement.

So they're looking for how many people are commenting on your blog, and are you answering back? How many people are liking and tweeting and re-sharing your content? Are you getting backlinks from honest article directories and good websites, or are you getting crappy ones? So they're paying attention to the quality of them. So the model I've taught for years, and I know you've taught too, Dave, is get a bunch of backlinks.

The only thing that's really changed isn't the method, it's the tools, so you don't want to use some of the old spammy tools that got in trouble. And you just don't want to do it as brutal. I used to call it marketing just by brute force. You don't need a million backlinks anymore. We need 800, and there's just higher quality software to do it.

But I actually found social media engagement is the most powerful thing today. Likes, shares, tweets, comments, things like that. Okay. Hold on a second. In fact, you've been teaching that forever.

Yeah. And I never got it. And it's like, oh. Well, if I can do it, I can do it. If I can get people talking about it, that is way better than backlinks.

Well, that's a thing, and sometimes you need to really drill that, especially in the new people, because people think blogging, and then they just start writing crappy bullshit, just putting it everywhere. And it won't sell anything, and people don't like it. If people don't like it, see, Google – and I think this is the insight, Rob – Google wants to rank stuff that people want to see. You know what I mean? Yeah.

Well, that's exactly right. Yeah. Yeah. You have to think about it from, you know, their job is really to end search. Here's a search result.

You click on the link. Google doesn't want to see that person hit the back button, so you've got to look at your own content from the eyes of the consumer. Do I want to read your crap? Are you trying to sell me something, or are you trying to push something down my throat, or are you trying to teach me, educate me, uplift, encourage, edify, or entertain me? You know, give me a reason to want to stay on your content, and then I may do business with you.

If you're just trying to pitch me, I'm out of here, or bore me, or use scraped content that's all gibberish, doesn't make any sense, or, you know, I've seen some people write a blog post, and they say, hey, check out my blog post. And it's crap. You know, why would I do business with somebody that doesn't have enough time and attention to put in good time and attention in their own business? One thing on that, Rob – you know, a lot of people, because a lot of people do pay for article writers, you know, and most of the time it's crap, especially if you go to any of the big sites that sell articles in bulk to thousands of people. I give you 100% credit for that.

You know, it's crap. It's crap. It's crap. If you go to any of the big sites that sell articles in bulk to thousands of people, I give you 100% guarantee that 99% of what they create is pure crap. And it's just not good content.

What I did, about a year and a half ago, because I pay for people – I do pay for people to write articles on some of the sites I've got out there – I went and hired people manually and paid a little more. But what I've found was that by doing that, I could train a person to be able to be a ghostwriter that's a college student. And most people can't tell the difference on my sites, where I do that, between stuff I write and stuff my outsourcer's writing, because I hired people individually.

So I have about 10 articles a week – really good, high quality, very targeted content – that I have created and put out there. But I did it by hiring manually. It's not expensive. Okay.

I'll probably actually pay him more, because he keeps getting better all the time, but that's a trick – if somebody does want to outsource their article writing, I've made a tremendous amount of money for every article that I put on my site, hiring somebody individually. It's cheap – college kids do it, you know what I mean? That's a great strategy, actually, combined with – I think if you use that, and combine it with, just as a kind of an open forum discussion, combine that with what Chris Record taught, I think you could create good articles in, you know, five minutes doing that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, David, mind if I jump out? Yeah, go for it.

Cool, yeah, well, look, I love serving value. Anytime David ever asked me, hey, can you pop out, I always tell him, hey, any way I can serve the community, I believe in servant leadership, and I have an abundant attitude, so I don't mind sharing things. Obviously, either it is Rob or David, we believe, just share what you know, and teach people how to make money, it'll be good. Here's a strategy that I use, and a lot of people don't know that I use it, and I have a few different blogs. People really only know my Empower blog, because I don't always blog under my personal brand all the time, but this is a strategy, and I've been doing it a lot lately, and it is so powerful. So, for those of you that are still listening right now – I see there's nearly a thousand people on right now – I really want to teach you a strategy that I've done that has made blogging so simple.

So, if any of you are listening, and you're wanting to do this kind of stuff, like paying article writers, or you're wanting to go to sites like oDesk, or Fiverr, or whatever – you're wanting to go to those sites and pay people, because you don't feel confident in your writing skills – okay, I want to just address that for a minute, because first of all, that's cool, totally, go hire people, go do whatever you want to do, that's totally cool. But don't live your life limited, you know. I love having breakthroughs. Go out there and have a breakthrough. Go out there and overcome your fears. Go out there and be – you know, I'm not saying be someone who you're not, obviously be yourself – but at the same time, challenge yourself. If you want to, if you're not making the income that you deserve to make right now, it's probably because your level of thinking has got you where you are. So sometimes you just need to break through that level of thinking, you just need to challenge yourself and break through it.

So I would suggest, rather than giving up on the idea that you can blog, why not just get creative, think outside of the box. So here's one of Chris Record's think-outside-of-the-box ideas that has helped me out tremendously, okay. I've got two kids under two, and one of the things I do a lot is I do stroller walks, where I'll basically just – you know, I got the Bob Duallie stroller, you know, one kid facing back, one kid facing forward – and I just go on these long walks, because I like to stay in shape, and then also I'm always driving around and doing stuff. Well, I can't be blogging while I'm doing that.

Okay, so I came up with this idea: how can I blog while I'm doing that, how can I make money on a stroller walk, how can I literally get paid to go on stroller walks, how can I get paid when I'm driving around running errands. Okay, because I remember the quote – I've said this before – millionaires become millionaires because they find two or three ways to make money doing what they're already doing. So I'm already out on the stroller walk, I can't change that, I've got kids, it's a part of my life, okay? I know a lot of you have kids listening, so the thought came to me: I'm going to go on a stroller walk. Here's an idea, so listen up, if you want to learn an idea, here we go. On my phone, on my smartphone – I use an iPhone, by the way – I have a little app that basically, I guess I think it just came with the phone, and it's just an app called Voice Record, and I literally can just hit a button and basically just record my voice. It comes out pretty clear too, whether you're using a headset or you're just speaking into a speakerphone.

So what I'll be doing is I'll be walking, and get this – it's so cool, I think this is just so fun, I love sharing it – I will literally speak a blog post, I will just speak it. So I'll be sitting there, walking, and I'll come up with this idea for a great blog post, or maybe I'll already know what it's going to be, and I go on these, literally, like one-hour walks. Okay, I'll go 20 minutes to a coffee shop, I'll hang out there, I'll come 20 minutes back, whatever, I'll be gone for an hour. I'll write about 10 blog posts on my stroller walk – about 10 – because what I'll usually do is I'll do Voice Record, I'll speak into it what I want it to say, and I'll just speak for real. You know, hey guys, Chris Record here, I want to share about a strategy today on blogging that I learned from one of my business partners, Rob Four – now Rob Four taught me a very powerful strategy about, you know, such and such – and it goes on and on, and I'll just share that into my voice record.

So when I get back home, I've got like literally 5 or 10 recordings on my Voice Record, okay, I stock those up. And what I do is – there's two ways to do this – you could go to Fiverr, or you can go to oDesk, or Elance, or whatever works for you, but you can go to these services, and you can hire people that do transcription, and what they'll do is they'll do audio transcription, and you can hire them, and they're pretty cheap, meaning that on oDesk, you can pay roughly – I'm just going to give a rough estimate here – roughly about 15 or 20 dollars, they'll transcribe about an hour's worth of content. So if you have 10 blog posts that are an average of about 6 minutes each, if you do about 10 talks that are 6 minutes each, that'll cost you about 15, 20 bucks to have that transcribed. Pretty cheap, right? So you get somebody like that, you give them an hour's worth of work, you negotiate the price – I don't need to go into training on that – but you get them to transcribe it, they basically, while you're sleeping, they're working for you, and they basically give you this transcription file back. And now what you have is you have 10 posts of completely original content from you, spoken from your perspective, that you didn't have to write.

And now all you do is you copy and paste those into your blog posts, and, you know, add like a couple of pictures, or add a couple links, or add a call to action. You want to talk about speed blogging – now you can go in there and you can literally write a killer blog post, long and very thoughtful, in a matter of 10 minutes just by adding a couple of pictures and a nice call to action. And sometimes you have to fix what the outsourcer did – you know, the outsourcer might not have known Rob Four's name, right? So they might have just completely guessed. So you basically proofread it, but it just doesn't take long.

And eventually the person gets it as well. You develop a working relationship. So that one technique right there, I use that on another blog I do too. And that will allow you – I'm not kidding – you can bust out numerous blog posts a day inside of an hour. You could, because you're doing it while you're out doing other things.

Millionaires become millionaires because they find two or three ways to make money doing what they're already doing. And like Rob said, you know, it's kind of like – and what sparked this in my mind is when Rob said, hey, sometimes if you could pay someone to have an article written, instead of just posting it word for word, you know, take five or ten minutes to personalize it a little bit. Make it your own. Take Rob's strategy and add a very, very catchy hook right in the beginning. Take David Wood's strategy about a powerful call to action and add that a little bit throughout the blog post, and very much so at the end, to make sure there's a very, very specific call to action where you're telling people exactly what to do.

And then use the Chris Record approach and just kind of beautify it a little bit. Just add a couple pictures and make it look nice. But what you're going to find is you're going to find that inside of ten minutes you're writing a powerful blog post that would have taken you three or four hours. You would have spent all day on it, and now you can bust them all out. So there you go.

That's a little tip that came to my mind, and I always love sharing nuggets. So hopefully someone got some value out of that. Yeah, that was actually awesome, Chris. I was sitting there taking notes as you were sharing it, going, okay, so now I have this audio recording. Yeah, and absolutely pass it over to the transcribers.

But that audio recording can now be uploaded to iTunes and all these podcast sharing sites. And you just syndicated it even deeper to the people that are audio-oriented, and actually now embed that audio into your blog post as well, to decrease the bounce rate as well. I mean, just awesome stuff right there. Cool. Yeah.

Cool stuff, guys. I think. Yeah, absolutely. There's tools that allow you – oh, go on, Chris.

What were you saying? To embed it. Keep going. No, I was saying, yeah, there's tools that allow you to embed it on your blog post. And even on Empower Network, which is a multi-user blog, so it's limited what you can do, there's still tools out there that you can use on your Empower Network blog posts that let you embed audio into your blog post.

So just like Rob's saying, you can syndicate it. You can also post it in your blog posts. And now you've got the sticky factor. Now if you can suck somebody in and play, now they can't leave your site. They have to stay there.

Otherwise, they lose the recording. And while they're there, they might as well read what else you got. And you've just branded yourself. So sorry for interrupting there, David. Oh, no.

No worries, man. I just think all the insights here are valuable. There's not really a tremendous amount of questions here that are directly related to what we're training. Mike asked a question on the tools to input audio. Mike, that's actually just a better thing to do a Google search.

And here's actually what I want to encourage a lot of you guys to do. A lot of you guys are asking questions that we could go on and on answering technical questions. Some of this stuff is going to change in a month when there's new technical tools that are out. But one great way to get traffic is a lot of these questions you guys ask are really, really, really great titles for blog posts. Somebody just asked a question, for example, in the comments about, how do I get my picture to show up by the search results?

Well, that's a thing called Google Authorship. And if you Google "Google Authorship," you'll find eight million articles teaching you how to do it in like five minutes. Not really content that's valuable on a $1,000 product. But what I challenge you to do, if you've got a question about Google Authorship, is go do a search for that.

And then read one of the articles. Do it on your Empower blog. Just follow the instructions and get your little picture there. It's super easy to do. It takes five minutes.

And then write an article teaching other people how you did it. It's a subject for an article by itself, teaching people how to do what you're asking right now. That's actually how I started, Rob – I started just answering questions I had. And I found a lot of other people were searching for it, too. Then I learned to do keywords.

Well, yeah. Yeah. You know what, David? As you were sharing that, I got goosebumps. Because that's, I mean, literally, I got goosebumps.

I got goosebumps right now. I'm trying to rub off my arm. Because that's exactly how we build a business. You can learn while you learn. You know, you can earn while you learn.

If you have a question, go research that answer. Go implement. And then we teach – we learn better. That's the best way we teach. So go teach what you just did.

And now, you've branded yourself as the expert. Now, you may not think so. But a guy told me a long time ago – this was a guy I knew that taught some kind of super advanced calculus thing at college. And it's like, dude, you must be like this super mathematical genius dude. And he goes, no, I just need to be one page ahead of the students.

And they think I'm a genius dude. It's the same thing here. You can brand yourself. If they're the person asking the question and you're providing the answer, at that moment, to that person, you are the credible authority, and they will pay you for that. So every question you have, I'm just flabbergasted.

Because that's a million dollar technique right there that I think all of the leaders have used. We share what we learn. And the more leaders we have, the more we learn.

There's some details that you need to learn along the way when you're doing it. What's the actual formula to make fifteen thousand or way more a month? Well, I'll tell you: the way-more formula is the same as the fifteen-thousand formula, and here it is. Number one, follow the eight core steps, which starts off by doing what we talked about the first three webinars in this training: blog daily and share that content in the search engines. Take an hour a day, especially if you are studying and marketing – do it for the next ninety days.

But here's the key: when you start making sales, when you start making money, a lot of people, once they start making money, want to slow down. Don't. Take twenty percent at least of the money and just trust me, and do paid ads. That will show you a way to grow.

If you'll just do that, if you'll go out there and follow these strategies until you're making money, then you take 20% at least of your money. At least. Shakir will tell you. He's training next week. He'll tell you more.

He'll say 40 or 50%. But if you take 20%, it'll be unbelievable to you how fast you can grow a list, how fast you can grow an income, how fast you can advance your business forward. That's the secret, folks. You can take that simple concept of just getting two sign-ups a day by blogging, what Rob Four does, and I do it, focus on those strategies to start getting sign-ups. Take 20% of your income and reinvest it back into paid ads.

You can build a team unbelievably quickly, not just in Empower Network, but really in anything. So we're going to start teaching you how to do that next week, so I'm excited about that webinar series. Between now and next week, what's the assignment? It's what you need to do next. Next is write a blog post a day.

Every day, spend an hour creating the content using Chris Record's formula, and an hour syndicating the content to get traffic, and focus on an intention of signing up two people a day. If you focus on that and say, how can I sign up two people a day, I promise you'll get there. We've got a huge, huge amount of people in Empower Network doing it. So we'll come back next week, solo ad training. Start there.

We're going to get into media buys and all sorts of cool PPC stuff and all kinds of neat strategies people are using to make a lot of money here, and also in other companies. So Rob, thanks for coming out. Appreciate you, buddy. Great training. I learned a lot.

Chris, thanks for coming out and giving your insights. Everybody on here, thanks for coming out. If you thought this was worth at least $1,000 by itself, post all over Facebook about it and tell everybody how awesome this product is, how much value you got tonight. So we'll talk to you guys soon, and be blessed. Cool.

The organizer has ended the session, and this call will...
