You sit down to work on your business and the whole thing feels like too much at once. Traffic, funnels, follow-up, content, tracking numbers you don’t fully understand yet. So you open a tab, watch one more training, take a few notes, and close the laptop having technically worked without a single lead to show for it. That cycle can repeat for months, and the person doing it usually isn’t lazy. They just never broke the day down small enough to actually finish anything.

As anyone building an online business already knows, the gap between people who produce results and people who just consume more training rarely comes down to talent. It comes down to whether the work in front of them is sized in a way a person can actually complete in one sitting. At a live retreat recorded for the Classic Masters Course, Tony Rush laid out exactly how he keeps a full-time online business running on two to three hours a day by refusing to let any task get bigger than a single bite.

Why does a vague daily goal never actually get you moving?

Tony Rush opens with a distinction that sounds almost too simple to matter: stop treating your business as one enormous, vague project and start treating it as a stack of small, finishable pieces. As he puts it directly, describing the one habit that shaped how he works more than anything else, “focus on making things in bite-sized pieces.” Not a slogan. An actual operating instruction for how to structure a day.

The reasoning behind it is practical, not motivational. A task that’s too large to finish in one sitting produces fatigue before it produces results, and fatigue is exactly what makes someone close the laptop and go watch another training instead of doing the work. Break the same task down small enough, and it becomes something you can start and complete inside of an hour, which means you get to feel the small win of finishing something instead of the small defeat of abandoning it half done.

This is also why so many people end up with dozens of hours of training consumed and nothing built. It’s not that the training was bad. It’s that nobody ever showed them how to translate hours of content into a single task small enough to start today. A person can sit through an entire course on traffic generation and still not know what to actually open their laptop and do at nine in the morning, because the course taught concepts and never broke them into a piece the size of one sitting.

What does bite-sized actually look like in numbers?

This is where the lesson stops being a mindset point and turns into an actual mechanism. Rather than chasing a dollar figure with no clear path to it, Tony Rush works backward from a simple visitor-to-lead ratio he tracks for his own traffic, then sizes the day’s task around that number.

Say that today I want to get 80 leads. Or say if you’re very brand new, maybe your goal is to get 30 leads. You break that down into steps. How many visitors do you need to come to your website in order to get 30 leads? Figure that out. Now, you’ll note your numbers may be different than mine. So what you have to do is you have to watch a few things as you’re moving along. They’re really simple. It’s not heavy arithmetic. We’re not doing a long division here. But basically, use some simple tracking to see how many people you have coming to your website. And generally speaking, I get about 25% to 32% of the visitors turning to leads. So I know that if I need 30 people today to opt in to my website for me to make, say, two sales of the basic program, then what do I need? I need about 100 visitors to my website.

Notice what that math actually does. It takes a goal that used to feel abstract, grow the business, and turns it into a single, checkable task for today: get roughly 100 visitors to one page. That’s a task you can start at nine in the morning and know by lunch whether you hit it. Nothing about it requires guessing whether you’re on track three weeks from now.

Notice, too, what the math doesn’t require. It doesn’t require heavy technical skill, a huge budget, or years of experience reading a spreadsheet. It requires knowing your own conversion ratio, which you get from simple tracking, and then treating that ratio as the input to a task, not as a curiosity you check once a month. Once you know roughly what 100 visitors produces for you, the daily task writes itself.

Why does staying in consistent action beat working longer hours?

The habit only holds up if the small pieces get repeated instead of treated as a one-time push. Tony Rush tells a story about a friend, a gospel singer named Rod, staying at his house for a weekend. Rod kept asking, half-joking, whether Tony was ever going to actually do any work, while the two of them sat on the back porch through barbecue, then Thai food, then cigars, talking about nothing in particular. By early evening Rod asked again, and Tony pulled out his phone to check what he’d actually gotten done that day. Ads were already running. A message had already gone out to his list that morning. The two of them ended up spending twenty minutes writing a fresh email together, right there on the porch, cigars and all, and that email brought in two sales that night.

The point of the story isn’t the two sales. It’s that the work had already happened earlier in small pieces, woven around an entire day of doing nothing that looked like business at all. As Tony Rush sums up the whole approach, “if you’re not having fun you’re not doing it right this thing should be an absolute blast all the time.” That’s not a throwaway line about attitude. It’s a direct consequence of sizing the work correctly. Tasks that fit inside an hour leave room for an actual life around them. Tasks sized for a whole day don’t.

What should you actually do with this tomorrow?

Pick one number you can track this week, visitors to your page, leads from those visitors, whatever the first step in your own funnel happens to be. Set today’s task at a size you can finish before lunch, not a vague goal for the month. Do that block of focused, bite-sized work, then let the rest of your day belong to whatever else matters to you, family, rest, a friend on the back porch. Repeat it tomorrow, and again the day after that, without waiting for a week that feels less busy to start. The compounding isn’t dramatic day to day. It’s the difference between a business that runs quietly in the background of a full life and one that consumes every hour you hand it without ever quite finishing.

The full lesson runs considerably longer than what’s covered here, with additional leaders from that same retreat sharing their own versions of turning a single day’s small actions into steady income, plus the specific traffic and follow-up modules Tony Rush references throughout. The entire course is available for $99 through the Classic Masters Course.

Hey, what's going on, guys? Jay Sharp, we told you we'd come back with a bonus for you, so we're actually headed out for dinner right now. We wanted to just catch up with you. But, I mean, welcome to the team. I mean, welcome.

Welcome, but you're somebody who can't get this if you're not all in. So, yeah, you took action, and, you know, I mean, you're going to be rewarded by now seeing what it's like to, you know, hang out and really live the lifestyle that you deserve, that you were born to have. And that's what we want to help you get. I mean, see, we've got some of our leaders here. There's Toby.

He's just kind of hanging in that SUV. And we're going to all, you know, head out in this limo. And we're just going to have some conversations with you tonight. Who knows what in the hell we're going to talk about. But more than anything, we're going to teach you how to make a million in 2013.

Yeah, and what we're going to focus on here, just I'm going to talk for a second. We're going to focus on how to turn money fast, okay? And everything you need to know, truthfully, is in the product, okay? It's in the master's course. It's in the 15K formula, the strategies, the tactics, the language, everything is in the master's course.

And what we're going to do is we're going to share some insights. I'm going to ask a couple questions to all the leaders, okay, on how they make money fast. So come on the limo with us. We have dinner reservations.

We've got to go. Ready to go? Yeah. We're going to go.

You want to put that in the back? Yeah. You want to? Hey, folks, it's Dave Wood, and I'm here in the limo with the most badass army of badass. Hooray!

And, hey, guys, isn't it cool to travel in style? Yeah. This is what you do. Hey, we just want to welcome you guys to the Lifestyle Club because you can't really get here without getting all in. We wanted to congratulate you for being a member of the real family, you know what I'm saying?

Because until somebody's all in, we're like, yeah, you know, you're an all right guy, but, you know, I'm going to spend time with Chuck Marshall, you know what I'm saying? But welcome to the all-in club. So here's what you're going to find. You're going to find way more than the money that you spent in value in the actual product, than from making money in Empower Network, okay? So what we want to do is just give you a bonus for making a decision not to buy one thing but to buy everything, all right?

Now, just so you know, in the future, if we come up with additional products, you'll lose access to this bonus if you don't buy those two because this is an all-in bonus, okay? And we want you to make a decision to be all in with everything because that's what the leaders do. Hey, just real quick, everybody can just shout out. Are you guys all in? We are all in!

So congratulations for seeing this video. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to pass the camera around. Everything you need to know in knowledge. The knowledge base is in the product.

So there's nothing knowledge-wise that we can teach you in this. We can show you proof, right? There's nothing knowledge-wise we can teach you that ain't in the master's course, that ain't in the 15K. But what we're going to do is share some stories about how we've used concepts in our products to turn around money quickly and how you can apply it here to make a million dollars in 2013 and make your money back fast, all right? So we're going to start with the man, the mid-collection, Tony Rush in the background.

We may be chit-chatting in the background. We are a level after all. Tony Rush! Yes, sir. Thank you.

I'll do it for you. Now, so what do you want, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, what? No, just give it to us real, man, just like you always do, bro. I mean, just give it to us, you know, just give it to us. We're not all going to be there.

We're going to be chit-chatting. Good. Y'all are a little freaking me out a little bit. Hey, guys, welcome to the all-in club. Man, does that not feel good?

Does it not feel good to be in the limo with us? That's where you deserve to be. Right on. Hey, so here's the principle. I can give you that has assisted me greatly.

And it's more of a concept rather than a mechanical thing. But I promise you, if you'll do this, it'll make all the difference in the world. And that is, focus on making things in bite-sized pieces. Now, if you were on the webinar earlier, you heard me talk about a 90-day action plan and how that's actually a 30-day action plan done three times. Okay?

And I know it sounds gimmicky, but trust me, this is how my brain processes stuff because I like to keep things really, really simple in really bite-sized pieces. That way, I can process it easily without fatiguing. Because that's the big thing, right? If you sit down to make some money and empower a network using our system, and you're going to hear from everybody tonight about what that system is and in the products, of course. But when you sit down, it's really easy.

If you make things too complex, you get some fatigue going. And truthfully, this business done full-time, it's two, three hours a day, top, really. Income-producing activity, probably closer to 90 minutes. So the way I do it to keep things really, really simple, that way I don't get burned out, is I focus on the task that I'm looking to complete. Say that's...

Say that today I want to get 80 leads. Or say if you're very brand new, maybe your goal is to get 30 leads. You break that down into steps. How many visitors do you need to come to your website in order to get 30 leads? Figure that out.

Now, you'll note your numbers may be different than mine. So what you have to do is you have to watch a few things as you're moving along. They're really simple. It's not heavy arithmetic. We're not doing a long division here.

And if you'll use the modules in the 15K formula, it's almost like placing an order at a restaurant.

Seriously, if you want 100 people to come to your website every single day, you can just choose to do that. It's nothing you have to figure out. Get in your 15K formula. I think it's probably going to be module 4, 5, or 6, somewhere right in there on paid marketing. And literally, it's as simple as just deciding how much traffic you want and then just understanding that it's all broken down into bite-sized chunks.

So 100 visitors, 30 leads. 30 leads is two basic sales. Now, if you get two basic sales a day, you can't do that consistently over time without seeing about half the people step up the inner circle and about half of those go to Costa Rica and on up the ladder to 15K and NASA. And before you know it, your residuals start piling up. So it's absolutely fantastic.

But just encapsulate it and put a bow on it. The easiest way to get your money back very, very fast is fastest thing possible. Get 100 visitors to your website. Do that on a consistent basis. And one sale of each product, and you're broken even in your business.

Beautiful. Module 6 in the 15K formula? Hey, guys. So the next one is obviously going to be the man, the myth, the legend. You really need no introduction except the fact that if you don't join, you can't be in good business.

You're going to freaking rash. And you're getting in a place that's really, really that you don't want to rash. So it's a good thing that you joined. But rash over to you, brother. Yeah, you bet, man.

Great stuff, Tony. I will just share quickly. I'll speak for myself and Sophia. You know, Tony kind of wrapped us up but kind of segued right into what I was going to share, which is all you need is just one sale at each product level to get your money back. So that if you get your basic, you get your inner circle, you get your Costa Rica 15K and Masters, right away you're going to be made whole again.

So, you know, that's all you have to focus on is just one simple sale at each product level. And that's where you're going to make a very, very quick turnaround on your investment. So how do you do that? What's the best way to get one sale quickly? Well, of course, we can talk about paid advertising.

We can talk about blogging. And I will tell you quickly, if you want to get made whole again, if you want to get money back in your pocket immediately, I'm going to tell you, I want you to think of the most successful person you know. Think of the most successful person you know. And, of course, they're not in Empower Network yet. Now, all you're going to do is you're going to go to Facebook and you're going to go create some relationship with that person.

You can literally do it in one day. And the way you do it is you go onto their Facebook wall and you go look at their posts. And you go look at some of their comments. And you go look at some of their status updates. And you get involved in a thread that they created that will create a relationship with that person.

And it will create some ability for you to communicate with them. Now, you may or may not have 1,000 friends or 5,000 friends. You may not even have a huge Facebook crowd yourself. But if you go onto their wall and you find something of interest to you that you can add some really quality value and commentary with, you can get into a dialogue with somebody very quickly and break into the world of a top producer without having to be one yourself. And what's going to happen is when you get involved with somebody like that, what you can do, is you ask them if it's okay if you private message them.

And you ask them, say, I admire you. I've been watching you. I've noticed that you're very successful. And I'm just curious what your take is on the Empower Network. And see, you don't just do this with one person.

You might do this with 3, 5, 7, 10 people, some of the most successful people that you know. And by introducing yourself and asking for their opinion, you may get one of those people to take a look at what we're doing. And the fact that you're not a big leader, maybe you're just getting started, maybe you don't have a lot of influence or credibility yet, sometimes big leaders don't just follow other big leaders. They like to work with people who they feel are coming up the line, who have a lot of heart, a lot of drive, a lot of determination, a lot of ambition. And you can break into the conversation with somebody by simply contributing value to their Facebook thread, their posts, and becoming friendly with them.

Now, it may not happen overnight. But I will tell you, if you become a person of influence literally by surrounding yourself with other people who have a lot of influence, this is a great way to build your Rolodex, build your book of business, build your Facebook, and build your contact manager and list with other influential people. And it's a matter of time before those people decide to join you as well. So although you may not make your money back that very first conversation, you can plant the seeds and literally create the relationship that will turn into an enrollment at each of those product levels. And you will get paid back.

So the investment that you made in all your products. So that's just a little share on some of the advice that I give. How many millions? Quite a handful. And I'll tell you, when I didn't have a lot of contacts and a lot of influence, I did exactly what I'm telling you to do.

And it's made us a ton of money because, you know, it's over the years of maturity that these relationships flourish. And it may not happen overnight, but I'm telling you it could. I've seen that happen as well. I've seen a lot of people that had, you know, some big success stories join networkers and other, you know, members of a company that were not already huge successes. And if you're showing up with value and you're showing up with contribution, you can certainly expect collection on the back end.

And that's really a great way to break into the industry and surround yourself with high quality people. Sophie, do you endorse everything he just said? I would. You approve this message. You got my stamp of approval on that.

Anything to add because, I mean, you're just one powerhouse agent. I mean, everything that he said. I mean, he, you know, I don't have more to add to that. He said everything well, so do what he said. There it is.

I never thought you'd hear that. Well, hey, I'm going to actually bring it over to a guy, and I'm going to introduce him here in ten seconds or less. This couple was at rock bottom six, eight, nine months ago or something like that, they got over six figures total. Not six figures a month like you like to say in the industry. Oh, I'm making six figures a month.

I mean, with that being said, over to you guys. Hey, Dave, thanks very much. When Melissa and I joined, some of you guys know, of course, I joined initially kind of without the express written permission of my beautiful wife, Melissa, which was interesting in itself. So I had to make money fast. And, you know, Tony and Jessica are our sponsors.

And, you know, what Tony said, what Aaron and Sophia said is exactly what I did. I went on to Facebook and I started putting the post out there. I also, what I did right away was I just started sending messages. You know, in Facebook, you can send private messages to people saying, hey, go look at this link. You know, this is something you've got to do.

And people will either do it or they won't. And if they do, great. You'll probably have people start. And the thing that I heard early on was focus on one day at a time. See, back when I joined at the end of March, or when we joined, I couldn't fathom where Tony.

When you joined first and then we joined. That's right. And coming off of a personal bankruptcy, I could not relate to that. Honestly, Tony, you know, I love you, bro, but I couldn't relate to where you were at the time. I just, you know, I thought, okay, but I can relate to making one sale today and then making one sale tomorrow and then one sale the next day.

Because early on, I heard Dave said, well, you know, I'm going to do this. And I knew David Wood doesn't make phone calls. I was like, well, we must be making that or else he would never guarantee that. Make one. Yeah.

Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I'm going to artifact once a guy, just saying. Once a guy, like, was Christina Munoz, right? She was getting a sale a day, and it was her 60th day.

It was her 60th day, and she was, like, at, like, $8,500. I was about to have a heart attack because I thought I was going to have to make a phone call, right? And then it was the evening time, right, and I decided to do a live stream because I didn't want to make a call, right? And I did a live stream. She invited people on.

So just, I'm sorry to interrupt. Hey, no worries. So if you focus on today, you know, think about this. If you had to make a sale within 24 hours or else they're going to come and take your house, which almost they did for us, I mean, let's be honest, you know, if you had to get it done in 24 hours, could you find a sale today? And of course the answer is yes.

And then, all right, so you did that today. Whatever you did today, you can do it again tomorrow. Now, since you're all in like we're all in, you can start going through one by one the 15K formula, like what Tony said, what Aaron said. Go learn one new technique today and employ it tomorrow. There are many free strategies.

In fact, I think videos two, three, and four are all about free strategies. Go watch the dang videos and take action. Chris Record, Rob Ford, David Wood, all the other guys in there were just totally, totally kicking ass teaching us how to do it for free. I wish I'd actually seen it, you know, when I started eight months ago, because that stuff wasn't in there before. And now we can do it for free.

So anyway, over to you, Melissa. Yeah, well, we had to take just action and we had no place else to go but up and we could do that here. And it was really encouraging to start to see the emails that you get that continually say your income just increased, your income just increased. Well, boy, yeah, you get belief really quickly. And it's a really easy thing.

There's this little program out there. It's free. It's called Jing. You can Google it. And you can go and take screenshots of the results that you're having and go post that on Facebook and send it out in an email.

Send it to a group of people that you think that might be open to something like this. Oh, yeah. And it's great. It's a secret. Yeah.

They can't argue with that. I mean, everybody is approached by things like, hey, I got the latest and greatest vitamin deal and you're going to get in at the rock bottom level and you're going to be rich, you know. But when you can start sending out proof of the results that you're having and it's so easy to take these screenshots and even put a link embedded, like you can actually take, embed, put a link right on top of the picture. You can, it's really simple to do that. You can find out.

You can find out how to do that even just on Google and send these things out to people so that they're starting to see some proof and that you get some traction. You only have to do that a little bit in the beginning and then you get more results and guess what? Then you turn around and you post more results. Can I add one more thing to that? In our first 90 days, we didn't have much of a story, but Tony and Jessica had a story.

Tracy Walker had a great story. Laurence Tam, Dave and Dave, all the people here in this car who are older than us in the business, we were just sending out all their edification, you know. Every time Tony had a thousand-dollar day, I sent out a blast. Like, hey, check out this badass over here. Yeah, look what.

Basically, you send out a blast like every four hours. Yeah, every four hours. Yeah, yeah. Look what they're doing and, hey, here's my link. This is how you get started.

By the way, special shout out to our son, Tanner, who just dresses like a badass because of this. How'd you get that in there? Yeah, it's awesome. And yeah, we're at the restaurant, so let's get out of the limo here and we'll continue a little bit in the restaurant, maybe a little on the limo back ride. Yeah.

Right on. Yeah. Hey, what's up? Hey, what's up? What's up, guys?

I'm chilling out. We rented out the whole restaurant. I'm kidding. No, we kind of did. I mean, I actually know the owners of this restaurant, and so we brought all of our leaders here and kind of we're sitting down.

And, I mean, actually, what I want to do is I wanted to just really give you guys, because Dave and I were just talking about this, we're going to make a new sales video for Empower. And, you know, we're going to be in the middle of the day.

So, you know, I'm kidding. We're going to be in the middle of the day and we're going to have a barbecue here. At Franklin's Restaurant, a barbecue place.

Alex is going to the grill. He'll get you there, guys. Alex, what are you doing? Toby and Layla Black's parents, which makes them immediately bad-ass. So the thing about most people is they have a hard time with the front and the back.

The middle can be filled in with structure and you should learn what to do. Actually, video number 5 in the 15K formula goes over this whole thing in a lot of detail, all right? If you guys really want to master these concepts, we go over a lot of it there. Not capture pages, the formula for selling, what he just outlined in a tremendous amount of detail. But if you look at people who don't sell, they have a problem with the front and they have a problem with the back, right?

Does that kind of sound as funny as a gay thing or something like that? Get your mind out of the gutter. Yeah, get your mind out of the gutter. Stop thinking of sex for a second. Focus on the words that are coming out of my mouth and I'm going to give you a boner.

Not to be confused with a boner. Coming out of my mouth. Just everything you just said was not even right. That's not right, is it? But what do I mean by that?

Well, people are boring, right? Now, just set the lines just spaced out. Just throw a letter out there. How you doing?

I'm Eric. Good to have you. How are you guys doing? I've got a few on the line here. And so, capture attention.

And more importantly, if you're trying to make a result, you've got to tell people what to do clearly in your marketing all the time. You've got to tell people what to do clearly in your marketing, not some of the time, but all the time. If you're building a team in network marketing, you've got to tell your team what to do all the time in every message you can. If you don't do that, you won't make money. I didn't make money my first three and a half years in network marketing.

I didn't make money in network marketing specifically because I was in a team and organization that never told people what to do. It was never clear. You've got to be clear all the time. So, for example, watching this video, what I want you to do is be clear from now for all time, not some of the time, all the time, when you tell people what to do in every message you can agree, be clear all the time. That there is a $3,500 difference.

You want to know why most relationships suck? And I'm just being honest. I mean, most relationships struggle with communication because they don't communicate what's on their mind and on their heart. So, we expect, and most of my relationships sucked before I learned this principle, which is why I speak from experience. I don't ever judge or speak from somebody else's experience.

Most of my relationships sucked before I learned how to clearly tell people what I was thinking because I thought that people were just supposed to read my mind. I thought that, you know, Dave is just supposed to automatically from Costa Rica know exactly what I was thinking. The truth of the matter is, until you tell people what you're thinking, what you want them to do, they're going to say, man, that is badass. How about them yanking? And they're just going to go have dinner instead of buying what you want them to buy.

So, I mean, implement that. Peace. Message for you from my end. So, I'm going to give you guys just my thoughts on making money quick for a second because this is why, you know, it may be why you made a decision.

Maybe you made a decision to get all in. Maybe you made that decision to get all in specifically because you believed you would be able to make your money back quickly. Now, here's what I'm going to tell you that you need to do right now. Right now. I'm talking right now.

You have everything that you need. Everything that you need right now in this moment. Because you're all in, you have everything that you need to turn that into a profit fast. Now, what do you actually need to do to do this? Well, when I got started in my business online, I'm going to tell you exactly what I did.

I saw somebody that was doing something successful. I saw something that made me make a decision to get in. I had a training system that had a webinar once a week, and we had leadership calls and stuff like that. And I'll tell you exactly what I did. I got on every call, I went through every product, as I was taking massive action, applying what I was learning to sell stuff.

And I had a specific production goal. You know, Tony Rush in the bonus, he was talking about how, you know, what's your three-month goal? Well, what's your monthly goal three times? Well, what's your weekly goal four times? Well, what's your daily goal seven times?

Okay? And I've always operated on the principle that I've got a big vision, but I only focus. When I'm focusing, I honestly only focus on today. I don't focus on three months in the future, because I can dream of what I'm accomplishing three months in the future, but you've got to break it back into chunks. And I'm telling you where that leads when you break it into chunks.

First of all, set your goal higher, right? Because maybe you think that's hard. It ain't hard. What I want you to do is set your goal for the extraordinary. Set it for that.

Why? Because if you track that back and you look at what you need to do right now from now until the time you need to go to bed, and you look at what do I need to do from now until the time I need to go to bed, which Tony laid out for you. We lay out in the 15K formula and all that stuff. What you need to do now is focus 100% of your energy into getting people to take action and buy. All of your energy, everything you create, everything you say, everything you do, from now until you go to bed needs to be focused on hitting that daily goal.

If you do that, you can create whatever you want long term because it's broken down into sizable chunks. I don't care how big it is. I don't care if you've never been able to do it before. I don't care how ridiculous it is. You can do it because if I can make that happen by learning to focus in the moment with my work, right?

What are people who aren't focusing the moment doing with their work? I'll tell you what they do. They get on training webinars and they plan for the future. And they get on audio conference calls and they plan for the future.

So they're taking notes. They go to school a lot is what they do. And they feel like they're working and they're not. But I'll tell you what the difference is. I'll tell you what Tony Rush didn't do when he got in Empower Network.

He's one old camera, by the way. So he's the most expensive camera guy we ever got, right? But here's what I want to point out to you. Tony Rush didn't get in and sit on all the webinars and say, what do I do, right? He said, maybe I can learn some stuff and actually just do what they say.

Right? So it's taking action while you're learning. I think you nailed it. Because what a lot of people do, they say, oh my God, I have 50 something hours of content that I need to get through.

And you know you check in on them like a week later and they're like, well, I'm just still getting through the inner circle, and that's not how this works. You've got to get into action. You need to be in promotional action in the next 60 minutes, okay? So, like, whether you're brand new in the company right now or if you've been here for a year, let me ask you to reset this, push the reset button on your business right now and start a new method of operation. You want to create brand new, impactful, personality-driven promotional action in the next 60 minutes, and then you just repeat that over and over.

So I do that a few times a day, and I kind of weave it in and out of the other stuff that I'm doing, hanging out with my family, Jessica doing something, whatever, and I do that a few times a day, and that's what creates the leads. So what you do is, this is what I said in the limo a few minutes ago, you want to break large things down into really small bite-sized pieces. Kind of like this shrimp is not bite-sized, I would have to break that down. Now Sharp can put that, he can put two of these in his mouth at the same time. I saw him do it. Don't let him lie to you, he can do it.

Same thing, like if I want X number of leads in a day, well, how do I create that? Well, let's go get into some personality-driven, impactful promotional activity in the next 60 minutes from right now, right? So finish watching this video, then just, your number one task is to go create something that brings leads into your funnel, right? And then go listen to some audio, inner circle audio, while you're jogging or while you're doing the dishwasher, you know, whatever. Go spend some time with your girl, go spend some time with your kids, whatever.

And then a little while later, come back, don't look at your Aweber account or your GetResponse, you're like, holy crap, I just did one thing on this bonus and I got 20 leads and I've got a sale here. You may have two or three sales in an inner circle, but you'll get a sale, right? So then you do it again in the evening, maybe you write a message and send it out to your list, or maybe Dave Sharpe's doing a live stream, or he's got a conference call on a Monday night, that's content, send that out. So a couple, two or three promotional activities like that a day, some type of outgoing communication, and that's it. I mean it's not a lot to get good at here, really, it's really about taking concepts and breaking them down in bite-sized pieces.

So day two, you just do the same thing, and then after day seven, you're like, holy crap, I just completed a seven-day action plan, and do that four times, you know, like, man, I'm on track, I just completed a 30-day action plan. So that's just a quick story. My buddy Rod lives up in North Carolina, and he's a gospel singer, I used to be in a gospel group together, so Rod came down to my house, he was singing at some church about 20 miles from where I live, and anytime he's singing at that church I always let him stay at my house. So we sit up late at night and talk and smoke cigars or whatever, and the first time he came to my house he was like, aren't you gonna do anything? I'm like, well, I mean, I've already sent out an email this morning and I've got ads running, what do you want to get for lunch?

So we go out and get some barbecue, you know, we come back, sit on the back porch, talk about everything under the sun. Sometime around five o'clock Jessica comes out and she says, are you guys getting hungry, and it's like, yeah, we'll still get a bite to eat, some Thai food, right, and we go get Thai food, we come back and light up cigars, and Rod finally looks at me, he's like, are you gonna do anything today? So I pulled out my iPhone and I said, well, let's see what I have done today, because see, I'm always in consistent action, I've got ads running, I don't have to be checking on them all the time, right, and I'd already sent a mail out to my list that morning. And I think it was like a Saturday, we didn't have any particular live events going on or anything, so around seven o'clock I said, hey, let's do this, I'll write up an email and send to my list and I'll give it to you to mail yours. And it took us like 20 minutes to write up a good, compelling, personality-driven email. Matter of fact I put Rod in the email, I took a photo, me and Rod, in the email smoking cigars, he mailed it to his list and he made two sales that night.

But so here's the whole point, this does not have to be a grind. If you're not having fun you're not doing it right. This thing should be an absolute blast all the time. Are you gonna be confused sometimes? Sure, anytime I encounter something I've never done before I'm like, what is that? But you don't become immobilized, you always just have this forward motion, and if you don't understand something you just go around it, you go over it, you go under it, you go through it, but you don't let it immobilize you.

So if you don't know how to upload a video, figure it out, but don't let the not knowing how to upload a video keep you from getting your 30 leads today or your 50 leads today. So the whole thing boils down again to bite-sized pieces, don't get immobilized, keep it simple and just repetitive action over and over.

Well, there's just one thing I wanted to piggyback on what Tony Rush said, and then I'm gonna walk around a little bit. He said this earlier, to focus on the daily leads, how many leads you're getting today. Here's the reality with Empower Network, we've generated a little over a million leads, okay, it's like 1.1 million, something like that. 1.1 million leads and we've brought in 72,000 people, okay. So if you want a formula for how to bring people in overall since the beginning of the company, okay, since the beginning of the company, this including people who don't work their list, this including brand new people, we've sponsored about 5% of the leads we've generated, right.

Saying that, it makes a lot of sense to focus on lead flow, because at Empower Network on a daily basis we bring in maybe five thousand, six thousand leads right now, probably by the time you see this it will be 50,000, but we sponsor at least five percent of the leads that we bring in as a company, and if you work your list you're gonna get significantly higher than that. So I just want to say that, focus on the leads, focus on the lead, that's easy, actionable, that's great income and results fast. You want to know how to get leads, go to the 15K formula, look over that, right, take one strategy and apply it and take massive action. I had a friend of mine, she was making like 60 grand a year and her husband was unemployed, and his buddy at work, his buddy that got laid off, told him, I got something to take a look at. So they went to the hotel Thursday night or whatever, so him and his wife go down there and they're all dressed up.

They were down there for like 90 minutes before somebody actually told them what they were doing. It was the weirdest thing because at some point in the meeting, and Dave you may have seen this, David Wood told me. At some point in the meeting they said, well we want all the women to come over here in this room and we're going to let the men stay in here.

And she was like, well that's kind of weird. So she gets up and goes to this other room where all the women guests are in this room, and the husbands are still out there with the main presenter. And so the whole conversation was how to be a supportive spouse to your husband's business. It was all about how to support your husband's mission and his vision for the business. Maybe he ought to come in.

Here, let me go sit out there. Yeah, but it was the weirdest thing, because it was just a weird thing. It's where you expect it to be a business conversation and it turns into a somewhat pseudo-religious sort of weird kind of tell-you-how-to-live-your-life kind of thing. Well, you know, Empower is like that. I should say, that company is like that.

That company is like a religion. They say, hey, you're crazy. What's the difference between Empower and church? What? What are you talking about?

What are we talking about? How to make money fast. How to make money fast. Listen to David Wood, listen to David Sharpe, listen to the leaders, listen to the people who are here now, because they know what the fuck they're doing.

They're smart as hell. I mean, Melissa, listen, Pierre, Kevin. Oh my gosh, my brain is right. And then, you know, we have Arthur, we have Peter, we have the Rushlings. Oh, my God.

We have the Rushlings. Okay, yeah, the Rushlings. It's been the Rushlings. Oh, the Rushlings.

We have the Sharpwoods. We've got, you know, Tracy. We've got Nicole. These people are so smart. And if you know what you're doing, you're going to listen to them.

You're going to look up to them. You're going to follow them. You're going to be on the Monday night calls. You're going to be on the Thursday evening training. You're just going to do it.

And you're going to go all in. You're going to go to the events. You're going to watch the videos on your whatever formula you've got. Whether it's the $100 formula that you've got.

The 15K formula. Whatever. Wherever you're at. You're going to watch your videos. You're going to do your training.

So, that's how you're going to do it. Yep. So, go start making money. Now. Just kidding.

Watch the rest of the video. No, no. It's like you've got a saved moment. Good luck.

And, yeah. What am I smiling at? I'm truly doing my best. Absolutely. We're just talking about how many people will just get in a gifting program or a scheme or a pyramid or a Ponzi, and you show them something legitimate that they can make more money with.

Are they going to keep the money? Because when the government shut down that Ponzi, they made all the leaders give it back. Right. And that just happened. I was just telling a story about my first experience in dadgum network marketing.

And I'll tell you what, what we're teaching and what we're telling you guys is like so ridiculously easy and simple. When we say easy, a lot of people are freaking put back by that word. You got to go to the bathroom? Oh, I thought you don't need to slide out. Oh, well, you were looking at me like you need to slide out.

I remember a girl coming up to me. I was actually in drug treatment. And a lady came up to me and she said, she pulled the old, you look like a sharp individual. I mean, I've been had by that term. And I was like, as a matter of fact, I am a sharp individual.

You're like, nobody's noticed you. Exactly. Nobody's noticed yet today. But she was like, I'm doing a home party. I went over.

It was a bunch of women. There was one guy sitting in the room. And I was like, great. At least I'm not alone, right? And then he goes, all right, I'll be in the back if you need me.

And it was just her support. He's my supportive husband, right? So he goes back to watch football and drink beer in the back room. And I'm stuck with all these females, which is great to be around. But they dragged out the whiteboard and started drawing circles.

And I'll tell you what, I was just compelled and I joined, right? That minute I called my mom. And I was like, Mom, I need to borrow like 500 bucks. And she was like, why? And I was like, call my mom and ask her.

But anyways, what I did, and what I did immediately when I joined, my mom actually brought the money over to me. And I signed up right there and took my whole product shipment home with me that night. And then, of course, the girls made me schedule my first home party. And I remember I was hanging out with this girl.

And we were doing whatever boys and girls did back then. And I don't think they do that kind of stuff anymore these days. But I was on my way, rushing late, of course, because I'm Rush, I'm late to everything. And I was rushing home.

And the girl was like, you need to drive to McDonald's and pick up a Big Mac. And I was like, why? And she was like, just do it. And when I got over, they had tables set up. I had like two or three people over at my mom's house.

Because that was also where I did my first home party. And I was stuffing Big Macs in pantyhose to demonstrate what fast food did to your digestive system. And all of the people in the audience were just kind of looking ashamed and embarrassed for me. Like, this poor bastard. Is this what he's going to be doing for the rest of his life?

Because I just assumed to see him working in McDonald's rather than doing this ridiculous shit standing up in front of people. So the moral of the story is really nothing except that what we're teaching you to do by simply going out there and learning how to generate 20 leads online is so ridiculously easy compared to all of the stuff that the majority of us did, that if you don't do it, you almost ought to check yourself into a freaking insane asylum and spend all your time in a straitjacket and a padded cell because you're crazy. It's easy, it's simple, if you listen to the words that we're saying and apply it. Because I'll tell you what, the grass looks greener on the other side, and the secret is, it's only artificial turf.

The grass is only green where you water it. So water it here. I'll talk about it here in a little while, in a second. You know, just for a second, talking about the grass being greener. It's true, sometimes the grass is greener, you know.

Maybe you're watching this video and you got all in, and your main business is something else. You know, you're like, I'm going to get people into my vitamin deal, or, you know, it doesn't matter what it is. My point is, in having this conversation, is that this time, maybe the grass is greener. You know, but we've had people in Empower Network, actually, that they thought the grass was greener, you know what I mean, somewhere else. They've said, well, no, we want to market a different type of product.

You know what's happened? This is the fruit. All the guys have done bad. You know what I mean?

Because they get involved, and they find out that not only is the grass not greener elsewhere, but they're treated less good, more strict rules, you know what I'm saying? Like, we cuss and swear in the videos and do this stuff, not because you have to cuss and swear. Look, a lot of people watching this, you know, we realize that people, you know, they're Christians or Mormons, or they, for whatever reason, they've got a different value set than we do. We like to be free. But here's the truth, and here's the reality, is that not everybody is like you, right?

Not everybody is like you, and there are a lot of people who are displaced in business, right? A lot of people. And the only reason they're not successful is not because they can't be. The only reason they're not successful is because they think traditional ways people act in business is so boring and asinine that there's nothing in the world that would motivate them to do it. They'd rather smoke pot, you know, and play video games.

That's the truth. It's not because they want to smoke pot and play video games. It's because they haven't been taught how to do this. There's no way that they can do it. So we do that.

There's a purpose behind everything that we do, and we will respect you here, Empower Network. You're already all in. We respect you for that. But we will respect you when you're a leader in Empower Network. We'll respect you when you produce results here.

We'll welcome you, and you're allowed to do whatever you want to do here. It's not some dumbass illegal thing, you know what I'm saying? When we say anything, we're not talking about, you can't post child porn to your website, but, I mean, that's not what you want to do anyway, so it's fine. Yeah, it's fine.

You're allowed to be. You're allowed to be you, to be yourself, okay? We got everything from pot-smoking hippies in Empower Network to people who wear suits everywhere. My grandpa wore a suit until the day he died, but you know the truth is he looked badass in that suit, I'm just saying. It was a nice suit.

He got up every morning, ironed his suit, and I actually, in my life, I saw my grandpa probably a thousand times, and not one time did I see him without a suit on, you know what I'm saying? So you're welcome here no matter who you are, and we're going to respect you here like you deserve to be respected. We're going to respect you.

You're a Christian, you know, like Chris Record is, or Chris Garty is. Lots of Chris's names. Or if you're a couple of ex-homeless guys like that. If you're ex-homeless, I don't care if you're Islamic like Shakira is, you know what I'm saying? It doesn't matter whether you're non-religious and a little bit, you know, a little bit joking about it sometimes.

Like, don't crush it. It doesn't matter. Your background. Your belief system doesn't matter. It doesn't matter whether you're a weird-looking, scrawny white guy.

You can't dress right no matter who you are. And it doesn't matter if you're an incredibly gorgeous black lady. You're like Tracy Walker. Or it doesn't matter if you're male or female, black, white, you know, Chinese, South American. It doesn't matter where you're from, what your background is, whether you're poor or rich.

When you succeed here, we will respect you. We will respect your success. We don't respect wussies in Empower Network. Why? Because when you decide to not make excuses, you can't take excuses from another human being.

It's the thing that leads out of your brain. And so when you're watching this video, here's why I respect you. I respect you because you made it. You made the decision to get all in. You decided to buy all the products.

Crossing over that line, you decided that you're not going to make excuses. You're going to make it happen. So now here's the next step. What's the next step? You need to make 3,000 bucks a day, right?

I'm going to tell you how to do it, and it's going to sound stupid and ridiculous. But the way to do it is to decide to do it, because a decision is different than a goal. As my good pal Tony Rush pointed out. See, I learned things from everybody in here. So that's all I wanted to say.

I'm going to grab the camera back and walk around a little bit. This is a bad-ass photo. It's not going to help people. That's not physically stable. You're going to be on the line.

I know. I'm going to do that one.

Oh. Well, Jessica's not listening anymore. You want a garden shower? She's a salad? She's done that?

Yeah. Because when Tony starts talking, she starts listening. I mean, what? She respects her husband, and Tony respects her son.

She's awesome. Let me say this, too. And I know it sounds cliche, and it's like an obligatory compliment.

I could not have done it without a supportive spouse. I could have done it, let's be honest, I could have done it because you can do whatever you decide to do. But I tell you what, it's a lot harder, you know. So, those of you out there that are building alone, without a spouse or whatever, the best thing you can do to get the support of your spouse is to go make some money. Isn't that true? I wrote two post-dated checks years ago to get into this profession.

And the guy told me, he said, if you can't do what I'm about to tell you to do and be able to back those checks, you need to get the hell out of the home business industry. We had about $28 in the account. So, I wrote two post-dated checks.

And Jessica was in the car. And you remember, David, you remember when the checks had the carbons? The little carbons. Do they still do that? I don't write checks anymore.

Well, I didn't take the carbons out. And I wasn't trying to hide it. But Jessica was looking through the checkbook. And she's like, what's this $500? Well, there's another one.

What is this? And he said, I bought leads from Nick. And then you could see his face. It was like he said, there's another one in there.

May as well go ahead and come clean on the whole thing. If you're down for five, you better go down for it. But the thing about it was, at that time, we had already used that method and that marketing. It was the first time I'd ever really made any money in this industry. And that was what won my spouse.

Was that proving that it works. And just go make some money. It's easy to do. And David Wood just nailed it. The easiest way to become wealthy is to decide to become wealthy.

And most people never make a decision to be wealthy, do they? They just sort of knee-jerk their way through life and never actually make a decision. So anyway, I didn't mean to jump back on the camera. You were going to talk to Jessica. That's great.

So what are your thoughts? I mean, you've been around for that company for a long time. Eight years. How much is it? $5,000.

$5,000. You're a real worker. I know. I think you have a record. You mind every court, right?

Yeah. What are your thoughts? I think 80% of my stuff, I don't make a decision. Somebody made a decision, and they put themselves on the line.

Some of it's $5,000. Yeah. You're all powerful. But what are you calling a power? What did you do?

What you've done? What were your teachers doing? All of it. So you know what?

One of the biggest things that I see the difference of is we tried the whole work-at-home thing. You know, most people don't. Most of us don't know this. Most of us, I'm sure, look at successful people in the industry and think, well, they probably were born that way. But we've failed for years trying to figure out how to do it, thinking, I have decided.

I'm making dream boards. I'm writing dream plans. I'm buying every single product out there. I'm affirming. I do want to be wealthy.

You're telling me all I've got to do is want to be wealthy. I am. So there is a switch. There is a switch between I want it, and I will do everything from this moment right now, activity and action-wise. I will do that.

I'll do that now. I'll do it fast. And I will burn the world down to make this happen. So there's a big difference between, for us, there's a big difference between I want it, I want it, I want it, and then saying, I will do this no matter what. And I'm going to do it right now.

I'm going to do it fast. I'm going to do it hard. And I'm going to get it. You know, when you went from wishy-washy, want, want, to I will do whatever it takes, you know, it is the action. You just can't sit there and say, I want to be wealthy.

I keep wanting to be wealthy. And it's not coming about. That doesn't help. You know, want and action have to go together. Yeah.

Nothing. I'm just inspecting the grout door. Like, I mean, right on point, too. You know what I'm saying? Like, nothing.

I'm just inspecting the grout door. You know, I mean, it was just hilarious. Another time we're on a job site, and this is what I used to do before I got into working, of course. We went and we did a tile job.

And, you know, of course, I was desperate for work. It was a $6,000 job. And it took a week. And not only did it take a week, but it took a week over Christmas. And it was the only time that I could beg this guy to let us do the job was when he was away with his family on a nice family vacation.

And we stayed in slavery, at his house, you know, doing his tile job. And anyways, my cousin, I think it was maybe even, you know, the night before, two nights before Christmas, we were out. We were ready to go.

It was 11 o'clock at night. My cousin was actually staying in a place called Tent City here in town, which is like a homeless place. You know, it's actually where we just served Thanksgiving dinner. But anyways, my cousin comes stumbling out of the bathroom, again, 11 o'clock at night. And he sits down.

And all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he's like, I'm blind, I can't see. And so I was like, what in the fuck has this guy been doing? What has he gotten into? And I went into the bathroom.

We'd just been in the bathroom for, like, 15 minutes. And the medicine cabinet was still open. He had gone into the medicine cabinet and taken something. He came back out. I'm like, you bastard.

You went through that kid's medicine cabinet and took something. And he's like, no, I didn't. I swear when I'm blind, I can't see. So he loaded his ass up and took him back to Tent City, of course. And we pulled up.

Now it's about midnight, you know, maybe even later than that. And he's getting out of the truck. We're getting ready to pull away. And he's walking over to the entrance gate to where he goes in. And, you know, we'll go check in or whatever.

And there's, like, a guy, like, 50 yards away. And, of course, he's back in his environment. He's probably looking for a beer or whatever. He sees the guy over there. And he's like, hey, bro.

Hey. And we're like, bitch, you ain't blind. Construction story rants, man, with family members. I don't know how many times I got hired and fired. I think that's actually the best.

Yeah. He actually, his story didn't end well. He didn't pass away, but he took some damages. But, I mean, he's still ornery as hell. You know what I'm saying?

I mean, he's not paralyzed, but he's physically challenged now. But, I mean, dude, the guy rose hard. You know what I'm saying? I mean, the dude's 30-something years.

It just happened to him when he was, like, 35. It was fun. Dude, I mean, there's so many stories that you can tell of, like, what you did before, you know, you started marketing. I mean, it's just unbelievable when you sit around and think about the cars I used to drive.

I mean, I had this old 1994 F-150. And you started it with a screwdriver. I remember actually going to my first network marketing corporate meeting, right? And I parked it, you know, like, literally five business centers away.

So nobody saw me starting this thing with a screwdriver and sparks flying. You know what I'm saying? It was like, you know, I was always the last one to leave everywhere. You know what I'm saying? It's just hilarious.

How about it? I just started telling stories. No worries, no worries. Sure. Shit.

The amount of times I called in sick to get to an event and get some work. I don't know. I'm blinded. I didn't call in.

Hey, Lawrence, did you call in a day? So it was, I had to. So Costa Rica, I couldn't make it back. So I had to call in that morning. So it was like I was sick.

So it was like five in the morning or something. Four in the morning. I had to call in. Hey, I'm not feeling good. I'll try to call in tomorrow.

You know. I had to. I didn't have any vacation. So people would get rich. Don't worry.

You just have to go to the box. Yeah. Thank you. Late off, right? Late off.

April 18th. So now, is anyone from your job following you on Facebook? The guy who actually mentored me at that job, he was really interested. And then he goes, oh, that seems about right. Too much work to learn internet marketing, go through that path.

And he's just like, anything? Too much work. Too much work. Oh my goodness.

It's just crazy. It's crazy.

No. I'm wearing shorts and I wear flip-flops all day. It's awesome. Yeah.

Yeah. It is. You should have a minute with David Wood. I'm trying. You know, I'm trying.

That's what I'm trying, you know.

It is. And you can see a woman. Yeah.

Yeah. Why don't you have a little bit of a warning. Yeah. Yeah. It's a beautiful thing.

Hi, David. You do have your family. I have a family. Life is family. It is.

Isn't it? It is. Life is family. That we are. We definitely don't join the parlor network because they hate their families.

Yeah. I'm not as tough as Dave was. No. If we do, we're going to be broken. That's right.

Yeah. You do have to be careful. One. Yeah.

See? I love my family so much that of course I'm all in, and they're here too. And I'm all in as well, I just haven't got very far. But I think people need to join Empower Network.

But it's possible that a lot of people don't actually understand yet what it is that's there. But as people understand, then they realize they need Empower Network in their life. So basically, by now, after watching all this video, you know that you should buy now. Right, guys? And I'll take all the add-ons and I'm all in.

They're all in, and by now they know that everyone should buy now. We have to buy now. We need to buy now. You need to buy now. I love to buy stuff.

So you should buy now. By now, I've actually finished my day job. And I'm about to have another day. But buy now.

Tell us about Amway. We want to know about Amway. You worked in Amway, right?

I was not in Amway. But my first ever experience in the network marketing industry was in a company like that. It's just like Amway, but better. Yeah, it kind of rhymes with sauna. But anyways, some of you already might know who that company is.

But yeah, that was my first exposure at the age of 18 years old. I remember reading a book, you know, Robert Kiyosaki's book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, when I was like 16, 17 years old. And that totally shifted my mindset, and the initial stages of my mindset about being an entrepreneur versus an employee and building a business and investing in real estate. So I actually got into real estate at the age of like 19, bought one of my very first investment properties.

Didn't know what I was doing. Over-leveraged. So there's a lot of challenges in that. But you learn a lot. I learned a lot.

But getting in the direct sales network marketing industry from an early age, for the first four years, I think literally from the age of 18 to 22, I probably made literally like a couple thousand dollars. I invested a lot of money, a lot into education, trainings and seminars and coaching and, you know, just reading different books and audios. And all that stuff is great. And it helped me develop my own confidence and self-esteem and connecting and leadership abilities, you know, speaking.

Some people, you know, see me today and I have no problem being in front of the stage or in front of a camera. I had the opportunity to be in San Diego at our event and speak in front of like 3,000 people. And it was an amazing experience. But had you known me years prior, I was deathly afraid to even get in front of a group, speak in front of people.

So all of that, I say that to say that it's all about growth. So now, whether it's online internet marketing, you're hearing from someone that, like myself, was very new to this industry, to the online internet marketing arena. Didn't have a big email list. Didn't have a lot of funds. Came into this, you know, kind of licking my wounds from real estate, kicking my butt.

You know, losing money, having to deal with things like that was so fascinating. And seeing my good buddy Chris Record just killing it and doing consulting and internet marketing and running different stuff, I was like, man, I got to learn how to do this. And finding Empower Network really was like, wow, they already have so much in place.

I know I need to invest in myself. I got to get the education. I got to go all in. But I know that there's a proven pathway. And that I can, instead of earning 10% and 20%, 30% commissions.

I can earn 100% commissions and make a ton of money. So, it was really, really empowering. And that's why I love this company, Empower Network. It's all about empowering people. So, to take someone like myself who was just getting started.

And now to be able to have a five-figure month. This month I'm shooting for 20 grand. I love Dave Wood's attitude. Do you have a part-time idea, like whatever?

Yeah. Full-time, aren't you? I'm now pretty much full-time, yeah. Aaron, 30 is easy to hit, right?

How much have you made this month? I'm over $7,000 so far. I'll probably be at $10,000 here in the next couple of days. You've got $10,000 in the next couple of weeks. You've just got to push and believe.

Yeah, yeah. And I know it's possible. I'll share a quick story of how it's possible. You know, when I was 23 years old, September 2008.

I'll say a little quick background. December 2008, I was 23 years old. And at the age of 23, September 2008, I was going through foreclosure. I was in big debt. I didn't have any money.

I was in this new direct sales business, just working, grinding. I was literally on the phone all day long, top to bottom, calling CareerBuilder leads and Craigslist and posting ads on the phone. Going to meetings Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, whatever it takes. I moved from Central California to Southern California. And a big shift happened to me.

A lot of things, and I won't get into all the details, but I read a book called The Science of Getting Rich. And one of the things I learned there is really the thought process of what it takes to get rich, and not only thinking about it, visualizing it, and then taking massive action. And I went from September of 2008, going through all these challenges, foreclosures, a ton of stuff, to December 2008. I made more money in a single month than I made in my entire lifetime up to that point.

And I'll sum it up to this. It was being all in, right? Success includes principle to principle. So no matter what business you're doing, whether it's Empower Network or anything else, I was all in. I was committed.

I believed it was possible because I saw other people that had done it before me. I was a part of a mastermind. I was part of successful people learning from successful people. Here I am, this young guy, 23 years old, trying to figure this thing out.

And I was learning from people that are making multiple six figures a year and even seven figures. I surrendered myself to that mastermind. I was all in. And then I took all-out massive action. And it built up.

It took me a couple months to build up more money than I made in my lifetime, not just in a year. I hadn't made that money combined, ever.

I don't know. To be able to have that first breakthrough, and as a young guy, that money came and I also spent some of it. And I was doing all that. But I learned a valuable lesson.

No doubt about it. I'm just saying, I'm just upping it. Yeah. Upping it.

Yeah. And I love it. I get to record this. So hopefully you're getting value from this. But I'm getting even more value because this is for myself.

And I'm speaking my intention into existence. And it's great because I have it recorded. So I hope you're getting so much value from Empower Network, from all of the education, from all the training. And I'll share one quick little tip on how you can get into massive action fast. And it's what I've heard.

It's what I've learned from Dave and Dave and my buddy Chris Brodecker and different leaders. And I want you to focus on the strengths you have coming into this. We all have gifts. We all have strengths. My strength was not internet marketing.

I had an earn-while-you-learn attitude. Okay? Honestly about me, I literally took forever just to get an email out for our special live hangout we did for this special bonus training. Okay? I was the last guy on my computer, even past Aaron Asher.

Okay? But here's what I did. I've leveraged social media and Facebook. I've kind of taken the old network marketing approach. And I'm upgrading it to version 2.0 online.

So for instance, people talk about network marketing. Make a top 25 contact list. Write down 25 of your top contacts. People that would be highly successful. They're already entrepreneurs.

They're money-motivated. They're people that maybe you look up to. Right? There's old ways. Just pounding the phones.

Put in the top 25 contact list. And you're calling them. And it's like, oh God, well, I don't know. You know, I'm not making that much money. And this guy's already successful in business.

And what's he going to say? And you think, okay. Scrap all that. We're online.

Everyone's on Facebook. Write a simple message to them. Connect with them. How are you doing? Catching up.

Hey, and I also got started in a new business. I'd love to just share it with you. I don't know if it would be interesting or not. But it's internet marketing. I'm so excited about it.

I'd love to connect further with you. Send something like that out. A personal, thought-felt message to connect. You can do that inside of an hour. You can connect with 25 people.

You didn't have to pick up the phone. You took an hour of your day. And all of a sudden, you've reached out and connected with 25 people. You've connected with 25 people of influence through Facebook. The second component to that is getting people to live events.

So when it gets people through the door for 25 bucks, it's simple. Believe it's easy. It's $25. They're getting so much value with their blogging platform and everything else. But the biggest thing is I got a handful of people to the event.

The very first event, I got all in. I went out to the first event. I got a few people there. From that event, one of them went all in right off the bat. Another one ended up going all in as well.

So get people to the event. Be at the event. Lead by example. Be at the next event. But be there with guests.

The biggest thing you will say, and I even say this to this day every event, is, man, I wish I would have had more people there. Because big decisions are made at big events. I know this. I built my business. I would build, build, build, build, build.

And I wasn't making a lot of money. Maybe you feel like this. Maybe you're building. You're making 25 sales. You're getting some people in.

But you haven't made a ton of money yet. Get them to the big event. If you get them to the live event, big decisions will be made. And you can come out of that event and literally create five-figure months. And this is what I did.

I went from just making a couple grand, getting people in, and then I got a big team. A big team, double-digit team, to the last event we had in San Diego. And from that event, from that momentum, I was able to have a five-figure month. Okay?

So number one tip, leverage your existing strengths. If you have an existing network and maybe you have direct sales and network marketing experience at all, maybe you've struggled but you've had some skill sets, don't discard those and just say, I've got to learn only internet marketing and I can't use the experience I have in the past. Leverage your experience. Leverage your connections.

I've been on the phone all day. But hey, I was willing to get on the phone. If I had a friend, I would call my friend anyways. And I believe so passionately in this. I'm going to connect with them.

It may or may not be for them. But again, you can do certain things. Leverage technology. You can leverage email. You can leverage text messages.

And you can leverage social media. And you can learn. The information you're learning and what I learned in the Costa Rica Masters Retreat is absolutely powerful. It is really what assisted me to go from just getting going in this business to having a five-figure month. And now having multiple four-figure days and all of that.

You're just getting started. So, get to the big events, obviously. You're all in now. You're watching this training right now. Go through the training.

But don't just go through the training. Take action. Take massive action. Take one or two skill sets that you're okay at already. Build upon that.

Take massive action. And just like one of the things I'm doing with video marketing and YouTube and all of that, is you can develop leads. Leads on content. Leads on social media.

YouTube. And just like Dave Wood says in the training, he built his whole business on free media. On blogging. On videos.

On action. Yeah, bottom line. You don't have money to take action? I didn't have a lot of money.

I just took massive action. You take action on what you can do. Bottom line.

That's it. The rest will figure itself out over time. That's it. You've got to work with yourself over time.

Hold on one second. The thing is that I grew up, David was a legit solutions. Whatever he? Yeah. So, you know.

You talk a lot, brother. And, you know, this idea of real, or you know. And I'm part-time.

I'm not even full time. The reason why is because it's December. And everybody's always whining like a weenie about how December's hard. So there's like almost two-thirds of the month left. I'm just saying, you're making enough now if you just did it every day.

And you won't do it on the 25th. I mean, I'm just kidding. Probably. Maybe you can get a Jehovah's Witness to go all in on the 25th. Or like a Jew or something.

But not a normal person. Or not a person who's going to go all in on the 25th. A normal person is actually bad work. A lot of people are normal. I'll tell you right now.

If David can be successful at this, you can definitely be successful. I'm drinking some wine. No, I know. I know what you mean.

You mean, look. Is that even on Christmas? I'm not even going to hit $100,000. I'm just saying, dude. I can hit $100,000.

Here's the fact of the matter, David. Thanks, Travis. David has got to get another glass of wine. Honestly, let me say something real quick. You want David to drink a little wine.

You want some of these leaders to drink a little wine. Because when you drink a little bit like we are right now, what happens is you just release another layer off and you're just willing to be more real and be more fun. Here's what I like about David. He's not afraid of saying something that might offend somebody.

Because at the end of the day, people know he's got a good heart. So if he says something, see, a lot of people go around life trying to do everything perfect. And honestly, I've been one of those people, trying to do everything perfect. But the more that you just let yourself just be real and be who you want to be.

Work is a four-letter word. Nobody likes a four-letter word. You want to make it fun. You want to make it just super fun. You want to make it exciting.

You want to make it passionate. So what David's teaching me is, you know, Chris, you can just be yourself, dude. I mean, you've got $14,000 more. That's like five days of what you've been doing.

You know what I'm saying? Always pushing me. So five days. Here's the killer part.

That's what I love about this business. It means that I work smarter. What David's saying is, hey, you don't have to put in five, six hours a day. You can keep putting in your two hours a day. Just be smarter in those two hours a day.

Be more effective. Find more ways to get stuff done. Beginning of this month, I came up with an incentive. I said, you know what? Everybody should go all in anyway for them.

Maybe I can come up with an incentive to be able to help encourage them. I came up with an incentive that made sense. I promoted it through a Google Hangout. We talked for a few hours. People got motivated, and they bought.

Money is just an idea. People get so hung up on money. Money is just an idea. David Wood, we were sitting at the house telling the story. David Wood comes up with an idea, and freaking like 20 or 30 people buy masters inside of an hour from that idea.

It's crazy. Money is just an idea. Let me talk about, okay, so here's the question, okay? We've got a room full of people, and the reason you got all in, or maybe you just got all in for a different reason, and you still got this bonus. We're just going to make it so everybody, I shouldn't say this, but don't tell anybody, but basically everybody who gets all in gets this bonus, okay?

So, you know, the next 30 all the time, right? So what you're saying is you're going to take this recording and put it onto, yeah, if you're all in, you'll get the bonus. It's going to be a tool for you to use, so to also make money. Yeah, so if you send people to coaching.empowernetwork.com who just got in to the basic membership, that's one of the keys to making a lot of money for them, because if they're in the next 30 all the time, they're going to get it.

And what's crazy is I've been sending people to the coaching.empowernetwork.com link this whole entire time. See, when you start putting your hat on, a lot of times people are like, oh, I'm just being sold. No, you're being taught how to earn commissions. By now I know you realize that. You're being taught how to earn commissions.

You're being taught from somebody who freaking makes like a few hundred thousand dollars a month on the marketing side. And doing very little, I'm just saying. Well, you're running a whole company on the side.

Yeah, you have to build this on the side.

Well, yeah, and you do it for talented people. Here's the beauty of network marketing and what we're doing. I want to not call it network marketing because what we do is so much more badass. I'm just saying. Because network marketing,

you've got to come up with a new industry. Yeah, you've got to go like get a million people to make any money, but in Empower Network, it's not true. You know, in Empower Network, you've just got to produce. And if you've got a team succeeding, it's more. You know what I'm saying?

So, but here's what I want to point out, the commonality of this room. And this is going to be the commonality with you when you concede. And look, I'm going to be honest with you. Some people seeing this are not going to concede right now, right?

Some people need to go through a little bit of pain before they decide to just do what he says, which is take massive action. Some people need to go through a little bit of pain for that, right, before they say, okay, I'm just going to decide to take massive action, right? I'm just going to make a decision right now, right? That's okay if that's you, because you can get there later, right? But for those of you who can get there now, right, I want to talk to you for a second.

What's the commonality in the room? Here's the commonality. You came up to me and I said, hi. I'm a learner. I'm a learner, right?

I take concepts that I learn from other people and I implement them. That's what I do, right? Because I'm always wanting to know what can I implement to create results. What can I implement to create massive results, right? So he's selling a greater number of master's courses part-time than I am, right now.

Now, it's not saying that he's better, right? But it might be. It might be, right?

Now, he's got a hot lead too, right? But it's saying it's interesting, right? Right now. Now, so I go into that and I say, all right, what are you doing? He tells me what he's doing.

How long did it take me to implement? Literally 15, 20 minutes. I mean, I saw you while I was telling you that the wheels were turning, going, dude, everybody in the company could benefit from some type of incentive like this. And I saw him spinning that. And then it went from spinning that to going, well, we should do it.

And then it went from we should do it to we should just freaking do it right now. And it just went to, and then cameras came out. Livestreams came out. Emails came out. And literally within like 20 minutes, we had 1,000 people on a livestream hearing exactly what we just talked about 20 minutes earlier.

That's the epitome of taking massive action. Yeah, so if you guys think about this for a second, okay, here's an example, right? I'm talking to Chris Record. He's selling a lot of masters courses. I mean, if we had every team in Empower Network selling as much as he was selling.

Now, I have no idea what's happening right now. You might be seeing this in two years, right? You might be seeing this like a week after we're making it. And I might still be selling the most masters. Right, you might still be selling the most masters.

Whatever's happening is happening, right? But here's one more. It went from, okay, you're creating a massive result by taking massive action. What is the action that you're taking? He told me, right?

I asked him questions. I said, well, how are you doing that, right? And you explained how you're doing it. And on the side note, I was completely transparent. That's the other thing.

Abundant attitude. If I was scarcity, I wouldn't want to share what I was doing. Right. Now, what he's doing in particular, I'm just going to say, we can't do as a company, right? Because it wouldn't work, right?

Yeah, I'm offering a team incentive to my team. It's a team incentive, right? But he was talking about a time-based incentive. So what did I do? I said, well, what are you doing?

And then I said, how are you doing that? And I said, well, what's it creating? And I said, why is it getting the result? And I sat there and I asked questions. And he told me.

And then I sat there and I thought for a minute. And you know how long it took me to take a massive action? I'm a team member. I'm just going to adopt that, too. Right, take massive action.

You know how long it took me to take massive action? It took me until the moment when I understood how to implement it, right? Which was when I asked enough questions. And then I said, wait, we can do that right now. And I said, wait, there's a room of people right now.

And I said, look at all the people right now. I said, when could we do a better video than we can right now, randomly, in the moment? And you know what I did? I went out to the video guys who were recording testimonials. And I said, hey, I need one of you to come set up this camera, right?

He came out and set up the camera as everybody in the room. Now, not just me. There's a commonality here. What do you see everybody in the room doing? They pull out their laptops and all the laptops turning on and the internet turning on, slowing down the internet.

Now, it took longer than I thought. We were all sending out e-mails to our list, to our family, to our friends, everybody around us putting posts on Facebook saying, look, guys, we've got to take massive action, right? Right now. And get on because we've got a room of people making money. Fifteen minutes later, we have 1,000 people on a live stream implementing a concept that I just learned 15 minutes earlier, because that's what you do if you want to create results.

So what do you do if you want to create results? Well, you see a concept and you say, that's fascinating, how did you do that? Let me tell you another story. Dave Sharpe right here.

Let me tell you a story about you, too. Dave Sharpe right here, right? When I met Dave Sharpe, he said, I'm getting an amazing opt-in rate. I'm getting all these leads. And I was like, that's bullshit.

Right? That's honestly what I thought. I was like, dude, I mean, I had so many people brag and bullshit to me that I was like, yeah, whatever. So you know what I did is I went to his site and I copied his page. Right?

Because I just, you know, I learned enough about the internet at that point where I just right-clicked on it. And I copied all the code and then I replaced my Aweber. And I just put it on my page and then emailed it out to a bunch of people. I wanted to see how many people put their email into that page. Right?

And then I went to his page. I copied it. I emailed it. Yeah, I generated. I don't know if Barbara told you.

The month before that Costa Rica, did you do that? No. No, we didn't. We made a bunch of money off it and said, all right, we're going to partner.

Dude, the month before that Costa Rica product, the original one we did, I generated 8,000 leads from that dumbass page. You know, you made it, right? I made it. He called me. This is what he said.

He said, Dave, you're paying me so good on this, that's why. Every time I see you, I'm so excited right now. That's why you've done it, right? Right.

And I said, I looked at it and it was a headline. You know what I mean? It said, free video. And I'm an ex-homeless drug addict, threw in the hammer and picked up the paycheck. And they said, put your email in here.

And then I'm like, put your email in and submit. And I was like, that fucking thing does not convert. He said, I'm just getting like, you know, so many leads. I wasn't going to do it on me. It's 30 days a day. And I put this page out there five minutes after he called me, because I thought he was just bullshitting, right?

Because I get all these people that are like, yeah, I make a million dollars a year, and I get them in, and they fucking do nothing, right? So I was like, yeah, whatever. But I put that thing up there, dude, five minutes later, ten minutes later. And the next day I looked at the conversions on that and it was 68.5%. And I said, the funny thing is that you probably like it.

You might like it. I got on the internet, I went and I copied a bunch of your PowerPoints to that goddamn boot camp. And we made a bunch of money off of it, too. But like five minutes later, you know what I'm saying? Like he didn't wait like a year to come back right now.

You know what I'm saying? You saw it. You said, does it work? The way they're saying it is they just stole my idea 15 minutes later. So I'm saying you're watching this video right now because I stole his idea about an hour and a half ago, and we turned on the camera and picked up the paycheck, right?

We all shared. Because, yeah, we believe. As long as you're all in. That's the thing.

As long as you're all in. If I wasn't all in, I wouldn't even be in the room. If he wasn't all in, there wouldn't even be a business. As long as you're all in, this is the kind of mash-up I'm going to have. You just get to steal everybody's stuff.

And I'm going to give you as many ideas as I can. And the reason is because if you take them and implement them, they work. They work, all right? I actually don't share anything that hasn't worked, except for if I'm making fun of it.

You know what I'm saying? Like I share about wandering around at Walmart, and I actually sponsor people. I actually did, too. It's scary, though, to think that I would have to do that again for any business. Well, it's scary to even think that's a good idea.

I mean, I don't even know what to do. Oh, yeah. I don't even think the people that I did sponsor, I thought that they would join. But it's kind of intimidating. They joined, I think, out of just my raw skill of, this dude is bold enough to tell me I'm sharp and recruit me into a business.

They never did anything. People at Walmart were there, you know, scared. I think they joined because I intimidated them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's not a good tactic.

It is not a good tactic. The point is, though, we heard the tactics, we thought it was good, so we did it. Well, we were told it was good. Actually, I was told it was good.

I was told the way you go to build business is you wander around and you meet people. Now, here's the thing. We still did it, right? We still did it because the difference between people who succeed and people who don't are people who do it and people who don't. That's true.

So, big point there. I took massive action on what I was told. Even though it didn't work, I learned a skill in the process, and that skill, it's funny.

I don't have this skill right now. This is a true skill for me and Dave Wood. We can go anywhere, to any restaurant, to anywhere, and we can go get somebody's phone number, tell them they're sharp, and they keep their options open. I used to walk up to hot girls and be like, you know, if you're single right now, it actually doesn't matter. Well, this is some random way to say it.

You're going to get some girls' numbers or guys' numbers if you're single. Just go walk up to a bunch of hot girls and say, you know, you seem like a sharp, sexy person with big boobs. You seem like a sharp group of hot chicks. No, I'm serious. You keep your options open, but you're giving numbers to guys like me.

Look, here's the difference, and here's the last thing I want to point out. I think we're done with this bonus, you know what I mean? I think this bonus is goddamn worth $100 million. You know what I'm saying? That's why you just got it for getting all in, whatever price you want.

So here's what I ask you before I go out. Dave, give me a backup there, brother. But you know, look, here's the thing. Here's the difference. People who listen to a concept and implement it.

Versus people who listen to a concept and say, I need another concept. I need another training. Look, there's a lot you're going to learn as you go through the training. You're going to learn stuff as you go through Empower Network trainings.

You're going to learn stuff in the 15K that wasn't in the Costa Rica. You're going to learn stuff in the Costa Rica Mastermind that wasn't in the 15K. You're going to learn stuff in the Master's course that isn't in anything ever, right? But the difference is, some of you guys are going to be like, well, I'll implement after I've watched every video, every audio, read every blog post, learned every strategy, been to an NLP practitioner training and learned hypnosis, and then I'll start working. But the difference is, here's what Chris Record does.

This is why I'm going to talk about this here for a second. About 10 minutes. How much time is left? Just a little while. What's it say?

Media almost full. Four minutes. Okay, we got four minutes, all right? So here's what I'm saying.

What's it say about Chris Record? Five minutes ago, we were sitting here laughing about a phrase. Like, by now you've made this decision. And I saw your phrase saying they're telling people to buy now. Like, in an embedded command in a sentence.

So did I act on that? No, here's the thing. Five minutes later, we're doing this video now, right? And if you go back and you look at the beginning of this video, he says, buy now 400 times. And why is he doing that?

It's because he's taking action. That's what he learned five minutes ago. He's not waiting until he's at the end of the product to take action. But by now, they're probably ready to take action, too. By now, they probably are ready to take action.

Maybe they even want to buy right now, right? Maybe they want to buy something else, and maybe there's nothing to buy yet. Maybe there is something to buy, and there's a button below this video. If there is, click the button, right? Maybe that's what you should do, is you should buy now because by now you realize buying now is important, isn't it?

Right? But here's the thing. He heard that. We just can't sell it. Buy, buy.

It's the problem and the solution. Hey, hey. Five minutes, and he's implementing it, right? That's the difference. If you want to learn how to actually get results, here's what you do.

You hear something, and as you're hearing it, if you can figure out how, you're implementing right then. And if you can't figure it out right then, then what you're doing is you're saying, how can I implement this in maybe 60 seconds? And you're implementing in 60 seconds. You're not waiting for 500 years. You're doing it now.

No, no. I'm jealous. Here's what I'm saying. I'm jealous. This is real money.

If you listen, this is real talk. Dude, you need to change your team name, I'm just saying, from Team Take Massive Action to Team Take Massive Action Now. And maybe even to Team Take Massive Action Right Now. And maybe even to Don't Be a Goddamn Wussy, Take Action Right Now. And here's why.

It's because the difference between success and failure is one thing. And I'm not saying that. I'm telling you it's one thing. Well, maybe two. Okay.

So I'm going to make it two. Okay. Step one is be willing to be humble and realize you don't know everything. See, I own the company. I'm not going to say, well, Chris Record's making all these sales.

Well, forget what he's doing. I'm going to say, well, he's making a lot of sales. What are you doing? Dude, I love you, man. What the heck are you doing?

Because if everybody does this, it makes a bigger story. And everybody receives more, and you sell more because you share your thing, and then we amplify it. You know what I'm saying? So I say, what did you do? And he tells me.

I tell you what he does, and I take action. Right? Right then. That's the difference.

You learn. You take action. That's all you've got to do. So if you're watching this video, what do you do? Watch a video of the Costa Rica, take action.

Watch a video of the 15K, take action. Listen to an audio in the inner circle and take action. Watch a video of the Fast Start and take action. Get on a Monday call and take action. When?

Right then. How much time is there? One minute. Okay.

Last thing I'm going to do. Here. I'm going to stand up here. Hey, folks. Guys, we got one minute left for the bonus video, right?

Here's what I want to say in a minute. I want to give a toast real quick to my wife, Ashley. It's our anniversary. We wouldn't rather be anywhere but spending it with you guys. Actually, right now and then later we'll go be by ourselves, but I'm just saying you guys are standing on.

And everybody here, you know, I'm going to say it right now. Everybody in here, you guys, you're not going to make a million dollars in 2013. That's for people who just see the video now, right? You guys will still make at least two or three million. Let's each have a million-dollar earner in our kids.

Let's do it. Cheers, everybody. That's for your bad ass. Love you. Happy anniversary, brother.

Yeah. Happy anniversary.
