You’ve done the basics. You built the list, you ran the ads, you emailed on schedule. And you’re still only getting two signups a week, watching someone else in the same room turn the same activity into two a day and wondering what you’re missing.

Here’s the uncomfortable answer: probably nothing. Not a new script. Not a new funnel. Not a better capture page. One leader inside Empower Network was doing the exact basics you’re doing right now, at the exact pace you’re doing them, until an event changed the number stuck in her head. The activity barely moved. The output did.

This lesson, straight out of the Classic Masters Course, is built around that flip: what actually changes when volume snaps from a trickle to a habit, and why the fix has almost nothing to do with learning something new.

Why does two a week feel so much harder than two a day?

Picture the comparison that did it. At a live event, she started asking people around her a simple question: how many hours a day are you actually working? The answers came back small. People putting in an hour a day. Meanwhile she was working eight hours and still only landing two people in a week. That gap, more than any single piece of training, is what cracked her open.

And it was all so simple. They were all, like, working an hour a day. They were sitting there going, damn it, I’m working eight hours a day. And I’m getting two people a week. And it was so annoying. So, but it really made me realize that I had brought my ego into the picture. And actually, something Chris Campbell said on stage was the only thing, if you have a good system, the only thing that can mess with the system is including yourself in it. So, I took myself out of it.

That annoyance is the tell worth paying attention to. She wasn’t short on information, she had already been running the basics for months. Her own ego, her need to manage every conversation personally, tweak every message, control every outcome by hand, was the actual bottleneck. The system underneath her already worked. She was the variable slowing it down.

What actually flips two a week into two a day?

Removing yourself from a system doesn’t happen the moment you hear the idea. It took her roughly a month of applying what she’d learned before anything visibly changed, and then it didn’t ease in gradually. As she describes it directly, “It took me about a month to kind of apply everything that I’d learned, and then it was like flipping a switch, and it was two a day.”

That’s the pattern worth sitting with. Not two and a half a week, then three, then three and a half. Two a week, for a month, with nothing to show for it. Then two a day. If you’re only watching for gradual improvement, you’ll miss the moment the switch actually flips, and you’ll quit measuring right before the number moves.

Why does the standard you set change the result before you change anything else?

A similar shift showed up for another leader in the room once a new standard became visible to everyone around him. Once two a day turned into the expectation for anyone who wanted to call themselves a leader and sit with the people producing at that level, hitting it required changing almost nothing about what he was actually doing day to day. He simply let himself relax into the number everyone around him had already normalized.

Here’s why that matters more than it sounds like it should. A lot of people hear two a day and assume it has to be difficult, not because the activity itself is hard, but because their own history has trained them to expect two a week. Past results get mistaken for a ceiling. Once that ceiling gets named out loud by someone already living past it, standing next to you in the same room, it stops being theoretical and starts being available.

What do the basics you’re already doing actually need to look like?

None of this replaces the actual mechanics, and the training is direct about what they are. Decide the number you want to hit in the next thirty days and write it down before you do anything else. A number with no plan behind it stays a wish, so build a plan around it. Then execute the plan daily, not in bursts.

  • Decide the number you want for the next thirty days and write it down before anything else.
  • Build a plan around that number, because a number with no plan behind it is just a wish.
  • Get ads out consistently, every day, not in occasional pushes.
  • Work your list and email it on a real schedule, not only when you feel like it.

The basics genuinely are boring. That’s most of why people abandon them for something that feels more sophisticated: a better funnel, a new script, a shinier page. But boring, repeated daily, is what actually produces the number. Getting to two a day doesn’t require information you don’t already have.

What happens on the other side of the switch?

The same discontinuous jump showed up again for a man named Justin, who went from close to no production to a real, sustained result in thirty days flat. Asked what actually changed, the answer wasn’t a tactic.

As Justin put it, “I was getting one every other day, and then after the event, I started getting two a day.” Same pattern, different person: weeks of nothing changing on the surface, then a jump that lines up almost exactly with someone else’s story in the same room, on the same timeline.

Asked directly whether the difference was belief or intention, he didn’t hedge. Belief, completely, was the answer. Not a new headline. Not a new opt in page. Just believing the number was actually possible, then watching the activity catch up to the belief instead of the other way around.

Why is removing yourself from the system worth more than trying harder?

This is the deeper move underneath everything above, and it’s worth sitting with after you close this lesson. Trying harder inside a system that already works usually makes the result worse, not better, because your hesitation, your over-management, your ego, gets inserted right into the moving parts. The fix isn’t more effort. It’s less interference.

One of the men in the room made the trade sound almost absurd once he said it out loud: staying poor is the hard way to live, doing your own dishes, washing your own car, cleaning your own clothes, one chore stacked on the next. Once his production changed, none of that stayed his job. His wife stopped touching a dish. They outsourced the parts of life nobody actually wants to do themselves.

That’s the real prize behind the number, and it’s the reason two a day is worth chasing in the first place. Not the count itself, but what stops being your job once the count is real.

The full lesson goes considerably deeper than what’s above: the full room exchange on setting your own thirty-day number out loud, how bringing a growing team to a live event compounds the momentum this lesson describes, and the exact language leaders in the room used to walk a brand-new person from two a week to believing two a day was already available to them. You know he flew here from the UK. Who here is from the UK by the way? They're not bad ass guys, you know what I'm saying? UK, Costa Rica. Who came the farthest to get here?

Who do you think? Who came the farthest? Raise your hand. This guy? These guys all think they did, they can fight it out later.

This guy thinks he did too. But tell us, you've been in the industry, how long have you been in this profession? 15 years, I was online in 1995, 1997 I was making money full time. And what I was doing back in 1997 was building a list and I still do it exactly the same today. That's it, you've been done.

Partner with companies that are in momentum, pay 100% commissions. And you know it's pretty good doing the basics, basics over and over again. I mean it might seem a little bit boring but the reality is it makes a lot of money. And you know... No it's true, I mean that's what it's all about.

It's just, you know, set the goal, have the right mindset, decide how much you want to make, partner with the right companies that pay the 100% commissions obviously. And it's easy, I mean it's not difficult. And the more success you have it just breeds success. And it's very straightforward. And attending the events is why it keeps you on track.

Because you can't get sidetracked if you're not at the events. So hence, this is why I'm here. I see, I know. You do more than that. But what suggestions do you have for just people who...

To just start out and just get moving over the next month and hit their goals. Just some ideas. Well ideas really is, it's all to do with marketing. So literally it's a matter of, you know, deciding how much you want to make. I mean, you know, how much do you want to make in the next 30 days.

And I've just written down there what I want to make in the next 30 days. And I'm going to take that, what I've just, you know, what I've just talked about and I'm going to make it happen. So that's the first thing you want to do is decide how much you want to make. And then put a plan of action how to do that. Because the reality is if you haven't got a plan then it's not really going to happen.

And that involves marketing. So get as many ads out there and, you know, give it everything you've got. I mean, it's simple. It's just basic stuff. Getting the ads out there.

Being consistent. And again, emailing your list twice a day is something that, you know, I'm going to take on board as well. It's a great strategy. Just do the basics. Push hard.

Dream big. Make it happen. Simple. Give them a hand. Hey, me.

Come down here real quick. Me. I want her to talk for a second here because here's how you're going to make the most money over the next little while. Is by doing what you've got to do to slam as many people in as possible. Right?

Now, some of you can do it two a day. Some of you can put in 200 by the next event. As many as you can. Now, get them to the event. And here's the reason why is because we're going to release this product there.

Right? And there's people in here who could have $100,000. Right? At that event. And I'll tell you, there's nothing that would be a cooler story than a $100,000 day.

Right? Who here thinks that might help you sell some stuff based on what you learned this week? Right? Yeah. So, here's why I want to bring Dave up is that you've been doing a really good job with small numbers getting, I mean, almost everybody to the event, I think.

It's like ridiculous. It's like she brings in two and two come. You know? Yeah. You've been doing.

How are you doing that? Well, I tell them that the reason I'm getting two a day is because I went to Atlanta. Oh. And so, I say to them, you know, my big thing, like, aha moments that have created what I'm doing now is because I went to Atlanta. And I tell them before Atlanta, I was doing two a week.

Now, I'm doing two a day. And that's only because I went to Atlanta. And if I didn't go to Atlanta, I'd still be making two a week and I'd still be, you know, slaving away. And I wouldn't be having the success that they're all seeing. And I'm allowing them to see my success.

I'm, you know, welcoming my new members to the team. I'm allowing them to see how much momentum I have. And suddenly, these old members that have been in for months and haven't done a thing are also coming to the event. And they're also upgrading. And so, it's they see that momentum.

And I just tell them all, it came from Atlanta because it did. And I just have to not be afraid to share that. Now, real quick, what was it, you think, at Atlanta that created that? I'm just, I don't think I asked you earlier. It was all those damn checks.

Was it the big checks? No, and the bit where you just, everyone you pulled up, you're just like, how long a day do you work? And, you know, like, what are you doing? And it was all so simple. They were all, like, working an hour a day.

They were sitting there going, damn it, I'm working eight hours a day. And I'm getting two people a week. And it was so annoying. So, but it really made me realize that I had brought my ego into the picture. And actually, something Chris Campbell said on stage was the only thing, if you have a good system, the only thing that can mess with the system is including yourself in it.

So, I took myself out of it. Badass. And then it worked. Well, that's badass. Give her a hand, everybody.

Give her a hand. Focus on as many people as you can get, get them to the event, and let's hope you have a $100,000 day. Let's keep it simple. I mean, let's keep it as simple as that, right? You know, I think that's pretty badass, right, Rob?

That's better than we've done for a while in a day. You know, one of the things I was thinking about is I noticed that in my business, I wasn't paying attention. But after you started saying, let's do two a day, I started looking, going, well, if that's the expectation, and if I want to call myself a leader and sit with all the cool people, I have to be doing two a day. That was the expectation. Amazingly, I did nothing different when we started doing two or three a day.

Just because I just let myself relax into the expectations. That's what we do here. Hey, that's interesting, isn't it? Well, this is where this comes from, by the way, and I want to talk about this here for a sec. A lot of people hear that, and they assume that it's difficult because of their past experience.

Not because it is, but because you were getting two a week. You hear what she just said, folks? Two a week, one day, two a day the next day. How long was it? Was it like a day transition?

Yeah. It took me about a month to kind of apply everything that I'd learned, and then it was like flipping a switch, and it was two a day. And in July, it was 50 people, and that was like, it was July 1st. In July, it was how many people? 50.

Wow. 50. How many of them are coming to the event from those 50? Do you know? From the 50?

I'm not sure. I guess. It's probably between like 10 to 15. It was a lot. I mean, for other people, it was a high ratio.

Give her a hand, everybody. Hey, Justin, real quick. Come back up. Right, D? Right.

Nothing. Just like this. How long did it take? What was it? 30 days.

30 days? And the difference was what? Belief? Intention? Totally belief.

I was getting one every other day, and then after the event, I started getting two a day. Same story. I started believing I could do it. You know, it was pretty easy. Set the intention.

That's it. And it's easy, isn't it? Really easy. Super easy. So now I'm like, crap.

It's easier than being poor. I should have done 11. Being poor is hard. You've got to do your own dishes. You've got to wash your own car.

You've got to clean your clothes. It's awful. So now my wife never has to do the dishes again. We outsource. They go food shopping for us.

They do the dishes. They clean. We just do what we want. It's badass, man. Give him a hand.

Hey. Hey.
