The 24-Hour Ultimatum That Turned David Wood From Chaser Into Chased

This lesson is part of Lake Las Vegas
The full recording is free with an account. One email gets you in.

You’ve lost count of how many times you followed up with the same person this month. A text, a voicemail, a birthday message you sent partly hoping it would soften them up before you asked again. And somewhere in there you started to suspect something uncomfortable: the harder you chase somebody, the less they respect what you’re offering them. David Wood’s main-stage talk at Lake Las Vegas is built around the exact moment he learned that lesson, and it came from the other end of the phone, aimed at him.

What does it feel like to beg someone to take their own future seriously?

Early in his network marketing career, Wood had joined at the bottom package himself and could not get anyone on his team to come in at the level that would actually pay him a commission. He would ask, they would give him an excuse, and he would fold, because some part of him already knew he didn’t belong at that level either. He describes the feeling as shame, the same discomfort you’d feel telling a friend to quit smoking while a cigarette burns in your own hand. Nobody catches conviction from someone who isn’t convinced himself.

So he called his sponsor, Lori Harrell, and told her he couldn’t sell his own team on the upgrade to save his life. She went quiet for a minute and a half, checked his account, and told him the obvious thing he’d missed: of course nobody was saying yes to him, because he wasn’t there himself. Then she gave him one day. Get to that level in the next 24 hours, or don’t call her again. And hung up.

Every excuse he’d been carrying for months, about money, about timing, about not being ready, disappeared inside that single day. Not because the excuses stopped being true. Because there was suddenly nowhere left to keep them.

Why does chasing a prospect make them run the other way?

That call reshaped how Wood built his own team years later, and the underlying principle came from an old Amway leader named Ron DeBrow. Most people in this business chase everybody, DeBrow told him: calling constantly, hassling, trying to talk one person at a time into becoming a leader. It doesn’t work. Nobody responds well to being pursued.

The move DeBrow taught instead was to bring people in fast, in volume, and get a real group of them into a room together at an event. Once that happens, the dynamic flips completely.

these people will all be begging for your time, so much that they will do anything you tell them to do to get around you

The work isn’t more hustle aimed at any one person. It’s building enough momentum that your attention becomes the scarce resource, and the people who want it have to earn it instead of you having to sell it.

What does that sound like on an actual phone call?

Wood teaches new leaders to run this same principle on the very first call with someone who just joined their team. A few short questions: what do they actually want, how many hours can they really commit, will they follow an assignment without arguing about it. Then two specific tasks with a real deadline attached, and the condition stated out loud, up front. Finish them, and there’s a follow-up call. Don’t, and there isn’t another one.

None of that requires a single result to point to yet. As he puts it, “You don’t have to make any commissions or any money at all to talk like this.” The authority doesn’t come from a track record. It comes from treating your own time as something worth protecting, on day one, before you have proof that it should be.

Most people wait until they have results before they act like their time matters. Wood’s argument, learned first as the one being cut off by his own sponsor, runs the other way. Draw the line before you’ve earned it, and the results tend to follow the line, not the other way around.

Whatever you’re building, the same swap applies. Stop rehearsing better ways to ask, and start deciding what you will and won’t keep chasing. The people worth working with will meet that line. The ones who won’t were never going to do the work anyway.

The full session goes further, including how Wood turns this same principle into the way he builds entire teams around a single event. Watch it in full, free, when you Create your free account.

I'd like you all to go absolutely nuts and help me bring back to the stage Mr. Dave Wood! Love you, dude. You need a whiteboard or anything?

Uh, two, yeah. One, two, three. I keep forgetting what we're doing. Okay, real quick, real quick, before I get started, I need to make a video for my family because they couldn't come.

Yeah, I know. Huh? What? Huh?

I don't fucking care, I own the company. Hold on a second here, real quick, real quick. Let's see, take photo or video. Alright, alright, so…

That was hilarious, wasn't it? Disclose that! Alright. Disclosure, I own the company and can do what I want.

Alright, hold on a second. Hey, uh, baby, I just wanted to tell you something. I love you and I miss you, uh, wish you were here. Uh, everybody just say, I love you, Priscilla.

Oh, wait, wait, wait, we gotta do a chant for Angel because he likes that, you know what I mean? So, we'll just go, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell. Anyways, you gotta make it to the next one, babe. Love you, wish you were here, and, uh, you are the reason why I do everything that I do.

Yeah. Alright, so. Alright. I got some amount of time to talk and sell you event tickets.

No. I just think it's just so funny, you know what I mean? I'm like the, I was telling vacuum stories to Neil Patel, you know, backstage, and, uh, he just thought, looked like, had this face on like it was the most hilarious shit of all time, you know? I'm just a different cat, aren't I?

You know, really? Like, I look at my life, and I look at the, the thing, the way that I even run this company makes no sense at all. To any other human being. They can't figure it out.

I remember I had a, a chef that lived in my house one time, and, uh, and, uh, she didn't know what I did, right? And she kept asking me. She was like, what do you, what do you do? You know what I mean?

I don't see you doing anything. Like, I don't know what you do. You know what I mean? Occasionally, like, I'd go in, and I'd do a, I'd do a webinar or something like that, and she'd hear me talking about making money.

She's like, what are you selling? I can't figure out what you do. And I was like, if you want to go know what I do, go watch the sales video. Right?

And I was like, she was like, just tell me what it is. I live in your house. And I was like, no, I don't tell anybody what it is. Right?

And actually, what I did for a long time is whenever somebody asked me what I do for a living, I would make up something new and just, like, try to come up with something to make them just get shocked. You know what I mean? And, uh, they'd say, really? I'd say, no, not really.

I'm totally joking. What I do is secret. And, uh, like, like, I, I was on an airplane one day. Right?

And, uh, and, uh, this person. Like, next to me. And, like, I just look like shit. You know what I mean?

Because I, I'm dressing better now, thanks to Priscilla. Uh, but I still, I mean, if she was here, I'd look, like, five times better because she'd be picking my clothes. You know what I mean? And I smell better now, too.

But before, I used to smell like shit and look like shit all the time. Right? So I was sitting in, uh, first class just looking like, looking like shit. And I was logged in to, you know, like, my bank account or something like that.

I had, like, a half million dollars in it. And, and I think that, like, the person next to me just saw it and went like this. Right? And I, I didn't mean to let him see it.

Right? Because I normally wouldn't do that. And he just looked at me. Look.

Like, what do you do? And I said, oh, I sell drugs in Costa Rica. Right? And he, he, like, he, like, looks scared.

And he goes like this. And he's like, really? And I said, no, idiot. You know, so, so anyways, uh, another time I was in a, I was in a taxi.

Right? And this is, like, before Empower Network existed. This is, like, I was the, I was the top recruiter. We were in Numis Network, you know, selling coins.

And, uh, you know, I was over at, you guys remember Numis Network? You know, we were like, the coins are cool. You know, best slogan of all time, isn't it? No, they're not, unfortunately.

Coins are cool. To all the rest of the coin collectors in the world. Like, coins. It was the hardest product to sell ever.

So, of course, we did what L Network Marketing does, which is sell the opportunity and never talk about it. You know? But in any case, I used to have this hilarious presentation. I showed it to Mars.

And I had a three-step form. A formula, right? A three-step formula for getting rich from coins, right? And here's what it was.

Step one is get money, which means you buy the coins. And they ship the money to your house because it's money. That's the product. All right?

So, step one is get money. Step two is get other people to get money. And when you do that, you get more money. It's like, so, get money, get money, get money.

Three-step system. Easiest thing to explain ever. You know what I mean? So, in any case, so I'm driving.

And there was these two reps that were with me. And they were both hot girls, right? So, I looked like shit, right? Like I always do, pretty much.

And then there's these two hot rep girls sitting next to me, right? And they're, like, asking me questions and recording what I'm saying in this taxi, right? And I'm just, like, telling stories and talking about nothing like I always do. In any case, this taxi guy is just, like, like he'd stop at a red light and, like, look, Beck, he was just trying to figure it out.

And he was, like, what do you do? And I was, like, honestly, and one of them was going to explain it. And I was, like, honestly, I can't tell you. And then the girls were, like, it's like a prospecting opportunity.

He asked you, and I was, like, no, no. Don't tell him what we do. I was, like, don't tell him. No.

He was, like, no, seriously, I want to know what you do. I was, like, I'm sorry, dude. If everybody knew how to do this, I wouldn't be able to make so much money. He's, like, just tell me what it is.

Tell me what it is. And I'm, like, I'm sorry, man. I can't explain. If I told everybody in the world, it's just too good.

It's too good. If everybody knew about it, it wouldn't work so well. It's just I don't want everybody making all this money on the Internet, living in a foreign country, like driving around with hot girls in the car. Can't, I'm sorry, man.

And he just kept pestering me, pestering me, pestering, pestering, until he eventually went crazy. And then I was, like, I was, like, look, okay, here's the deal. Listen to this audio CD, right? A couple hours later, get a commission notification.

New member, right? That happened all the time. So my chef, right, she's in the house, driving her crazy. For months, I would not tell her what I did, right?

I wouldn't tell her. I wouldn't even tell her what the website was. She was, like, what's the website where I can see the video? I was, like, just look up Dave Wood on the Internet.

Just click on it. Just look around on links, and you'll find it, right? And she was, like, you're not going to give me the website. I was, like, nope.

And then she came to one of our events, right? And I flew her out there. Now, you can tell this story, because this is back to the company thing, right? So in any case, now I've got to sell you event tickets.

You all better buy them so I can keep telling stories, which is what I really want to do. So anyways, so the, you know, I'm sitting there, and she's at the event, and she's at this point going crazy, because I won't tell her what I do, right? So I got my little roller bag, right? And in the front of it, it's just filled with papers, right?

So I get to the hotel, and they're, like, we don't have a credit card on file. You know, one of the employees, like, forgot to do it, right? I think it was in the California event, the first one that we did, Fight the Forces of Evil, right? And so, like, I'm, like, you don't have a credit card.

I was, like, huh. I was, like, I think I have a credit card, right? And my chef is sitting there, like, looking at me as I'm digging through, through stacks of papers, looking for a credit card. And then I find, right, this unopened envelope where I had been mailed a company credit card that I'd had for, like, five months, stacked between, like, random pieces of paper and, like, notes and goals and stuff like that.

And I was, like, oh. And I opened it, and I handed it to her with the sticker on, and the person over the counter took it, they looked at it, and they said, you need to activate this, sir, right? I was, like, oh, how do you do that? And there's, like, there's a phone number on it.

And my chef looks at me and says, how the fuck do you run a company, right? And so, you know, and then, so she comes, and she's, like, trying to figure out what I do. So she's in the event, which, of course, we never talk about it, right? And so she goes up, and she's, like, you know, what is this?

And they're, like, you don't know? She's, like, no. And they're, like, who are you? I was, like, well, I'm Dave Wood's chef, right?

And they're, like, Dave Wood didn't tell you? And she's, like, he won't tell me what it is, right? And they said, well, if he won't tell you what it is, I won't tell you either. So you know what happens?

Finally, after three and a half months, she goes and watches a sales video, and I get a commission notification. New member, you know what I mean? Makes no sense at all, right? So tell jokes and stories and get people to buy stuff.

That's the secret. So in any case, you know, really interesting. So I'm telling these guys vacuum stories back there, and I realize something talking, you know, that I've been pretty much selling my whole life, you know what I mean? Like, I was.

I was 18 years old, first sales job that I got, and, you know, it was rainbow vacuums. I got sucked in, you know what I mean? I was. I'm going to tell this story again because it's hilarious.

I'm just telling it to these guys. So this is the story of how I got involved selling stuff, right? So I'm working a job, which, of course, I've always hated them, and, you know, this is, like, I'm working all day and night, like, lifting logs and carrying plates and, like, all this other bullshit that you have to do if you work for a restaurant. It's just awful, right?

All day I was thinking, my God, this is awful, but at least I'm, like, going to have money, right? So I think I'm going to have money doing that. And then after, like, 40 hours of that, I get my check finally at the end of the week. Now, I'd never calculated how much $8 an hour is times 40.

It ain't a lot of money, right? So I get this check, and I get, I open it, and I was like, what the fuck is this? You know what I mean? It's like 200 bucks minus taxes, you know what I mean?

Welcome. You have nothing, you know? So in any case, I say, forget this crap. I quit.

I don't know how anybody does this for a living. So I just quit, and I went home, pulled out the newspaper. I was like, I need to make money. And I saw something that said, make 1,000 bucks a week demonstrating in-home appliance equipment, and guaranteed.

And I was like, guaranteed? I'm going to be rich. So I pick up the phone. I call this place, and I say, your ad says guaranteed.

The guy says it's guaranteed. Now, what I actually had to do to get the guarantee was, like, you know, you've got to, like, show 10 presentations a week, and then he'll pay you. 1,000 bucks if you don't make that much. And if you do 10 presentations a week, right, using their system, I mean, I would have made, like, three, four grand a week.

You know what I mean? Just because I was good at selling. So it was impossible to complete the task because you can't do two vacuum presentations a night, right? So you never had to pay anybody that.

But in any case, I go in, and he starts showing me this plan. And I was like, what the hell are you talking about? What am I doing? And he's like, come back tomorrow.

I go back tomorrow. He tries to sell me a $3,000 vacuum, right? And he didn't just show me the present. He didn't show me the presentation to get me to work there.

He actually tried to close me, right? I was like, dude, I live in my parents' house. He's like, well, you can buy it for your mom. I was like, I'm here because I need a job.

I don't have any money. He's like, well, we might be able to get you a loan. And I was like, I'm 18. I don't clean stuff.

You know what I mean? And it's like, he just kept overcoming my objections. You know what I mean? I was like, I'm not buying the fucking vacuum.

How much do I get when I sell one? He's like, 300 bucks. I said, I'm in. I'm going to be rich, right?

So I get in this thing. I start selling vacuum cleaners, right? And I'm going to all these appointments. We had a telemarketer set appointments because I've always been awful at setting appointments and keeping them because I could never show up on time.

But in any case, they have a telemarketer, this lady that was just vicious on the phone setting appointments. People were like, you know, I don't want the free knives. And she's like, we're going to deliver the free knives on Tuesday night. Does that work?

And they're like, well, we don't want them. And she's like, well, you have the free knives and one of our reps is going to come and you just have to watch a presentation to get your knives. And the person's like, I don't want the knives. And she goes, so is eight o'clock good or is six o'clock good?

And it was just vicious, you know? And they're like, I'll take the knives. Just get me off the phone, right? So anyways, I show up, I go like five presentations, right?

And I'm like, nobody buys. And I was like, man, this is like hard work, right? And I go in my office and I'm discouraged because now I go from 200 bucks a week to spending money on gas and nothing, you know what I mean? And I want to be fair, I was only working like 10 hours a week too.

But anyways, so I was like, and my boss is like, what's wrong? I was like, man, I just, I just, you know, it's just, I can't sell these things. Nobody wants to buy a $3,000 vacuum. He's like, David, David, do you know the magic clothes?

And I was like, the magic clothes? No, I don't know that. And he says, I didn't teach you the magic clothes. And I said, no.

I don't know the magic clothes. And he goes, David, it's my fault. I'm so sorry. I should have never sent you out without teaching you the secret.

I was like, well, what is it to tell me what the magic clothes is, right? And so he says, all right, here's the deal. Like there's this part of this presentation where you stack up the value of vacuum cleaners, right? So it's like, imagine all the vacuum bags you're going to buy and the brooms you have to buy and your carpets aren't clean anyways.

And in 20 years, it's like you have to replace your carpet five times. It's ridiculous. And it's like, it's like $20,000 of expenses that nobody really does. You know what I mean?

And it reminded me actually of what in Amway when I would try to show people that the products were actually cheaper and the very complex explanations I had to make to explain that. You know, no, this $40 soap is actually cheaper than Tide. Let me explain why. You know, here's the math to it.

You know? And so anyways, I stack up this thing, right? This like thing. He goes, and here's the thing.

It's like $20,000. And then you got to look at the man of the house because the couples had to be there together. And then you look at him and you say, so you'd agree this vacuum is worth $20,000, right? I mean, it doesn't cost that, but you agree it's worth it.

And he says, they're going to say yes because you're nodding. So they go, yeah. And he goes, and then you extend your hand, look him right in the eye and you say, welcome to Rainbow and don't dare move. He goes, he shakes your hand.

He's in, right? But you can't say nothing. You just have to wait there, right? So anyways, I go to another appointment, right?

So I'm like going to try the magic clothes, which is actually kind of ballsy, isn't it? Like just like extending your hand and like assuming a sale before you tell them how much it is. Anyways, so I'm like, how much are these event tickets? You know, well, not $3,000 today.

But in any case, so I extend my, so I go and I do this presentation and there's this guy there who just looks angry that I'm there. And I have like a tie-dye shirt on, right? And I have frayed, cut-off pants. I was an even worse dresser then.

I smelled like poo because I didn't wear deodorant, right? And my hair was like blonde and black on the other side and it was like big like this, right? So I go to this presentation, I'm doing this thing and this guy is just glaring at me during this whole presentation. I tell a joke and he's like, that's not funny at all.

Like that, like just, that's not funny at all, right? You know, and I ask him a question, he wouldn't respond, right? So, you know, it was like I asked him something and he just wouldn't respond to my question, right? But in any case, I get to the part of the presentation, most skeptical dude ever, right?

And I was like, there's just no way, right? So I go to the end of the presentation and it's like $20,000, real good value, right? So I said, now you'd agree this is worth $20,000, right? And the guy sits there for like 30 seconds and he goes, yeah, whatever, right?

And I stood up, extended my hand, stared him right in the eye and said, welcome to Rainbow. Most uncomfortable two minutes. In my entire life. He sat there glaring at me, not even looking at my hand, but I just didn't say nothing.

My heart was like pounding like this, you know what I mean? I was like, and he, and then after two minutes, this guy who just was not into it at all for like an hour and a half of me rambling about this vacuum said, just fucking sell me the vacuum. Shook my hand and started filling out an order form. Kid you not.

And since that time I sold like eight and 10, you know? I mean, $3,000 vacuum. I was doing that when I was 18 years old. You know what I mean?

Why did I tell you that story? There's no reason at all. Same as my chef story, you know what I mean? But you know, reason why I tell jokes and stories is because if you laugh and you loosen up about things, different, you'll have things sink in in a different way.

You know what I mean? People like always leave these events and this is what happens, this is how people are. You don't, it's like you don't remember anything that you were taught technically, you know what I mean? Like who remembers what Neil Patel talked about?

I was like, I just watched that an hour ago. You know what I mean? Now, if I had the slides, I'd be able to review it and remember a lot, a lot of it's in my brain. But really what people remember coming to these things is the stories, you know what I mean?

That's what people remember. They remember the news story, they remember the story, the person they met in the hallway, and that stuff really sinks into your mind. And what happens when you hear a story, right, like that, is it actually creates a new reference experience for you in your mind, right? And it actually changes beliefs a little bit.

Like there's a little bit of a belief increase and everybody in the room who just listened to that story, and if you maybe just change one thing or learn one tactic or strategy, all of a sudden you can go from no sales to eight and 10, right? Anytime I tell a story like that, it does create that effect and it just sticks in your brain forever because the brain works like that. That's why we tell stories the way that we do, because the most important thing that I could do here is to help change your beliefs, right? It's the most important thing.

I mean, you know, part of the reason why I'm all, like a goofball like I am, and this is the truth, there is a reason to it, part of the reason I'm like this is because people look at me and they say, if that motherfucker can do this, I'm gonna be rich, you know what I mean? Who in here has honestly thought that at least one time looking at me, you know what I mean? Yeah, you're like, if this guy, you know what I mean? I remember hearing a story, right?

And this is one of our reps. I can't remember who it was though. They came to the event with their spouse and their spouse had never been around it, right? Their spouse hated, hated his internet business, hated Empower Network, just passionately hated it.

Didn't know who I was at all. So I walk out barefoot and I just start talking about nothing, right? And she's like, who the fuck is this barefooted idiot? Right?

Her husband says, that guy makes like $200,000 a month and she says, we're gonna be rich. You know what I mean? Just reference experiences. That's the reason actually you're here.

You think you're here for something else, but that's actually why you're here. It's for example, on Friday night, one of the most important things we do is the commission countdown, right? Why? Why is it the most important thing that we do?

Because when you see all these people who have made money here, you literally, it is impossible after that moment to believe anything but it's possible to make money here, right? You cannot have another belief after seeing that. Now you might not still believe you can do it, right? Which is just kind of silly because I mean, how many one arm, one leg midgets in bikinis do we need to cross the stage before you think you can make money doing this?

You know what I mean? How many barefoot hippies do we need to have up here before you believe it? Right? So in any case, you know, that's one of the reasons why we do that is because you see all these people up there and there's like nothing in common with them at all other than they're dreamers like you, that's it.

You know, you look at Lawrence Tam, he's an engineer, he dresses really well. You look at me, like I dropped out of school and look funny. You look at Justin, he looks funny too, right? And you know, you look at Chris Rushlow, he's like a really normal looking guy except for his sparkling blue eyes hypnotize you.

So maybe that's his secret, you know what I mean? Kevin and Melissa connect, totally different story. We got doctors in here, we got lawyers in here, we got dentists in here, right? We've got like 18 year olds in here.

There's no commonality among us at all. So you see all these people coming up here with all their stories and what happens without you even realizing it is you leave here with totally different beliefs about what's possible than when you came in, right? And that's why I do this the way that I do it. You know, if it's my preference, we wouldn't teach anything at the events.

Probably drive you all crazy, but you'd all get more rich, right? Cause we'd just get up here and tell stories and jokes for three days. That's actually what we did in Atlanta, right? I taught nothing at all in Atlanta.

People were thinking it was an internet marketing meeting and I got up and told stories, literally, for three days straight. And people left there in a total complete frenzy about Empower Network and didn't know why, right? But what they saw and what they experienced at the event and the people that they met, the relationships they created, that's why the events are magical. And I'm telling you guys, events have a very particular effect on the way that you think, but it also has a really particular effect on the way that your team thinks.

And if you don't promote events and if you don't commit to going to the events, you know what happens is you will never, ever, ever in your life, ever make any money, ever doing direct sales except for maybe an up month when you sell some stuff and then you're gonna have a down month and you're always gonna have to be replacing people faster than you're gonna quit. You're never gonna have leaders. It's never gonna grow beyond your sphere of influence. It's gonna stay stuck at $1,000 or $2,000 a month because that is the true reality is that events build companies.

That's it. Our company didn't really launch on Halloween in 2011. It really launched in Atlanta, right? Our first event.

And the reason it launched then is because people came there and I remember conversations in the hallways. Like people actually, I saw this guy and he looked legitimately confused. And I was walking by and I just kind of overheard it and he goes, this thing is not a scam like I thought. Seriously, right?

So people come to the events. They see other people succeed. They see people have transformations and all of a sudden they create new beliefs about themselves, all right? New beliefs about themselves.

So that's why we do events on a 90-day cycle. Why do we do that? Because 90 days is about the capacity of a human being to focus on something. It just is.

We go there, we're excited. You leave here, you're pumped up. You go to work. Your boss is yelling at you and things like that.

And 90 days later, you need to be around this again. This is what keeps our whole organization together. You cannot grow, it is impossible to grow, a big network marketing business without events, it is impossible. Nobody has ever successfully done it.

Yeah, so true, right? It's true, right? All the breakthroughs I've ever seen have happened at events, all of them. I just go story after story after story after story after story.

I could point out Justin Barangia came to an event and if he hadn't come to that event, he would not be a million dollar earner. I could point out the Lawrence Tam story, right? I could talk about Paul Hutchings, you know what I mean? You know when he really started building Empower Network?

Was Justin Barangia had started to make a lot of money and therefore he was getting like $10,000 a month in pass ups, it exceeded his entire other network marketing business income, so that was part of it, right? Kind of cool. Power Network's comp plan is pretty cool, right? But then, what happens, right?

Then, that made him go to our event. And he walked into that room and said, what the fuck have I been doing for the last year? This thing is awesome, true? Yeah!

He's like, this is what I've always been looking for. You know what I mean? So, events have a very particular effect, not just on you, right? But it also has a really particular effect on your team.

And this is how we grow and keep our community together. Right? Not everybody who comes to every single event is gonna make $10,000 a month, but everybody that's going to make $10,000 a month and continue to make $10,000 a month and have it grow, they all come to every event, and then, everybody that's going to make $10,000 a month, and continue to make $10,000 a month, and have it grow, they all come to every event, and then, everybody that's going to make $10,000 a month, and have it grow, they all come to every event, and never make excuses about it, ever.

And they actually buy event tickets the second they go on sale. Every single leader in this room will have an event ticket in the next hour. Promise you. I promise, 100% of every leader in here, and 100% of everybody that will be on stage at the next event, 100% of them will have their ticket within the next hour.

Right? And all the people that will stay broke, right, that are looking for the secret, that are gonna be frustrated, they will not have the event ticket within the next hour. I promise you, 100% of them. Right?

Because your commitments to what you're gonna do in your business, they matter because that's what you transfer to the people around you when you're communicating with your team. Right? So if you, it's like being all-in. You know what I mean?

It's like being all-in, right? How easy is it to sell an all-in if you're not all-in? How easy is it? It's real difficult.

It's hard to do. And the reason is is because you have an internal values conflict with even trying to do it. You know what I mean? It's like you are, you're trying to get somebody to do something that you're not willing to do.

It's actually really difficult to do. Right? So if we know that events build communities, if events keep companies together, if events are the reason why Amway does a billion dollars a month, if events are essentially the cultural structure of network marketing, and we know that if you do not go to the events, you will not make any money, okay? How easy is it going to be for you to get a team to the next event if you don't get your ticket immediately?

Not easy. How easy is it gonna be to get, uh, your team members that join over the next few months to get their team, to get their ticket to the next event immediately after joining if you don't have one? You won't be able to do it. You will not be able to do it.

Right? I promise you. I've been around this for a long time. One of the biggest experiences I had, it was actually in 2006 or something.

We were in Agile, right, with Chris Rushlow. And we were, you know, we were, we were building. That was actually before he was in. And I had joined that company and I got in at the $250 level.

Right? I don't even know if you knew that when you came in because I was, I was at the top level when you came in. But in any case, I was at the $250 level in that company because I didn't have any money. You know what I mean?

Didn't have any money. I couldn't do it, right? So in any case, I went out and I tried to get other people to buy the $1,000 level, right? Now I could still sell the $1,000 level and earn commissions if I could possibly sell it.

But for whatever reason, I could just not get people to do it. And I think the reason I couldn't get people to do it is because if they asked me if I had it, I just almost couldn't look them in the eye. I felt so ashamed. Seriously.

It's like, hey, you know, you should really quit smoking. You know what I mean? It's like, nobody does that, right? But they try to do it with sales and network marketing all the time, right?

So in any case, I just could not get people, for whatever reason, people just would not buy that. I told them they needed it, you know what I mean? But they would just give me an excuse and I couldn't get over the excuses. And I would actually try to sell them, right?

So I called my sponsor, Lori Harrell. And I say, Lori, I got a problem. And she's like, what? And I was like, I cannot get people to buy this $1,000 thing to save my life.

Everybody's joining at this $250 level. And she paused for a second. She's like, that doesn't make any sense. Nobody ever comes in at 250 bucks for anybody else in the company that I know, right?

I was like, I can't sell that. Nobody will buy it. And then she's like, let me check on something, Dave. And what she did was she logged into her back office and saw what level I was at, right?

So in any case, she goes, I'm gonna check something, Dave. And then there's just pause. She didn't say nothing for like a minute and a half or something. And I was just waiting for her to do something.

After a minute and a half, I was like, you still there? And she actually sounded mad, right? And she goes, Dave, I'm gonna do something for you. You're not at the top level.

Of course, nobody is going to buy it from you. Of course, they're not. So here's the deal. If you are not at that package in the next 24 hours, you are never allowed to call me again.

Hung up the phone. All of a sudden, all of a sudden, it was so easy to buy that thing. I just came up with the money. You know, it's amazing how like when something like that happens, all your excuses just, they just go away.

You know what I mean? It's like, hey, what happened to that no money excuse that I was giving myself for months? I don't know. I don't know.

I don't know. All of a sudden, it doesn't work anymore because I can't call my sponsor again if I don't do it. Doesn't work. It's impossible, right?

So events are like this. This is the way to make a lot of money in your business. You guys wanna know how to make a lot of money in Power Network this next year? Okay, now I'm gonna teach you, I'm gonna teach you a very rapid way to make a lot of money, all right?

I'm gonna teach you, see our income disclosure. I'm gonna teach you a very rapid way to make a lot of money, okay? Now any smaller chunk of this will make money less rapid but will still work at that level, okay? And this is fast as hell, all right?

This is what I did in 2009 before Empower Network existed and it still works just like it worked back then except for we make a lot more money in Empower Network than I was making from those dumb companies that I was in in 2009. A lot more, okay? Now here's the way you do it, all right? Bring in two people a day, and you follow the eight core steps for the next 90 days.

And if you are growing at a pace like that and following the eight core steps, which mean you're gonna be doing new member coachings at least till you're making 30,000 a month, if you do that, I promise you, you can get half of the people you bring in to buy a ticket for that next event. I promise you, you can. You can't do that if you're poking along like a snake. You can't.

You can't. You can't. You know what I mean? You can't.

It's really hard to do. The faster you're building and the more people you're bringing in in a shorter period of time, the easier it is to influence them to do things. Why? A long time ago, there was a guy, Ron DeBrow, right?

He's actually still an Emerald in Amway. I think he might be, maybe he's a Diamond now, I don't know, I haven't talked to him in years. I think he's an Emerald, still an Emerald. But he has a really big organization, you know, Diamond.

A Diamond leg, my sponsor was underneath him. And here's what he said, right? Here's what he said. He said, the biggest problem people have, right, is they're chasing everybody, trying to get them to do things, right?

They're chasing everybody. Get a person in, you're trying to get them to go be a Diamond. You know, I get a person in, I want that person, go be Justin Varengi, go, go. Faster.

Sponsor more people. Call them all the time, hassle them, trying to get them to do stuff, right? He said, doesn't work. For some reason, nobody will listen to you when you do that.

He says, here's the key. He says, you go bring in about 40 people, real fast, and get them to an event. And these people will all be begging for your time, so much that they will do anything you tell them to do to get around you. And the key is, you don't give them any of the time, if they don't do what you ask them to do.

That's a totally different way of influencing people to do things, isn't it? It's actually less work, right? Less hassling, and they want it, and you're not giving it to them unless they do what you want. So they actually have to do what you want to even get around you, right?

See, if you go out for the next 90 days, right? You're doing new member coachings, you bring in two people a day, check, which is gonna be easy with our new funnel, who believes that, right? It's gonna be easy. It's gonna be simple to do, okay?

Now, I mean, like, for example, one of those funnels, right? It's free, you know what I mean? If you can bring in two people a day and it's free, you know what I mean? I promise you, you can do it.

That, we have like a 12 minute video, it's free for five days. But to allow you to get them in, that counts. You know what I mean? That counts, because if you do new member coaching with people who join for free, you know how many of those people are gonna stick around for the rebill?

If you do new member coaching with them, almost all of them will stick around for the rebill. And they come in for free. That is the easiest way to bring in two people a day, that you've ever heard in your life, right? So, you bring in two people a day, how many people is that a month?

Well, that's 60 people a month, right? That's 120, 180 people in the next 90 days. Get about half of them to buy an event ticket, that would be about 90 people, and you could do it. And not all of them will show up, so you'll have 50 to 70 people show up at the next event.

Now, that is intense. But a fast as hell way to make more money than you've ever made in your entire life this year. Okay? So, I don't wanna tell you how to poke along.

You know what I mean? I don't wanna tell you how to do it. I wanna tell you how to go real fast. Now, if you do like half that, well, it'll work less than half as good.

Because it actually doesn't, it actually, that's not how it works. People think, well, I'll do half that. I'm gonna bring in only 90 people. That's still quite a lot of people, actually.

And that'll still work quite well. You'll still make quite a lot. But you won't make half as much, right? You'll make more like a fifth as much.

Because the more you do, the more it multiplies, right? And the more people you have chomping to get around you, right, the more socially powerful you're gonna be, right? Like anybody here, I promise you, you do a team meeting at the next event, right? And you bring 50 people, and they bring some people, and you've got 100 people in that room, okay?

You know what just happened to you? You know what just happened to you in 90 days? Here's what just happened to you. You just went, you just went from somebody who nobody will listen to at all about anything, ever, which is how we all start.

Who in here has been frustrated with that? Like you get a team member and they don't do what you say? All right? Well, they don't do what you say because you're not worth modeling.

It's not like, you're not their father. You know what I mean? They're not doing what you say because, why? Why would they?

Why would they do it? It doesn't make any sense. You're not even doing, like, you're not even getting, like, decent results yet. So you don't worry about them doing what you say.

You just get so many of them, right, that they have to almost beg you to get around you. But you don't allow it. You don't put up with begging. You don't put up with bullshit.

You say, do you have a ticket to the next event? No, I don't have a ticket to the next event. If you don't get a ticket to the next event, I'll never talk to you again. You have 24 hours.

Real easy way to sell event tickets, isn't it? Now, that's almost a magic close, isn't it? I'm almost, like, sticking my hand out and saying, welcome to Amway. Now, here's the thing, right?

Here's why this'll work. Now, I heard this first time from, first time from Rhonda Brough, right? I heard it in every network marketing company I've ever been in. I've heard the same thing.

And it remains true, just like it was the first time I heard it. And that is, there is a magic number of people to get to an event that will completely, completely change your career permanently in this industry. Okay? The magic number of people to get to the event, this is not personally sponsored.

This is your team. The magical number is 100 people. That's what it is, right? How many of you have heard that before in a network marketing company?

Okay? In other companies, right? The reason why you've heard that is because, you know, because it's true in every company, okay? Now, I'll tell you, in most companies, like, it's impossible to do that without making a quarter million dollars a year, okay?

You do that in Power Network, you're gonna make about a half million dollars this year. I don't care if you're new. See our income disclosure. I'm not guaranteeing that, right?

That's how to do it, okay? That's it. That's all you gotta do. That's it.

That's all you gotta do. That is actually really simple to do, isn't it? Now, that's like not being a doctor. I mean, he sees 17 patients a day to make $100,000 a year, you know what I mean?

It's not like being a lawyer. I mean, you have to have clients all day and make $200 an hour per client, and it's quite a lot of people to make, you know, a multiple six-figure income, you know what I mean? It's not like selling cars where you have to sell cars all day, you know what I mean? We're talking about two people a day, get them to the next event, follow those people, and they're gonna make $100,000 a year.

Follow those eight steps. In a short burst of 90 days, it will radically and permanently change your life. Permanently. You will not be the same person 10 years from now.

You'll not be the same person a year from now, two years from now. You'll be a totally changed person if you do that. And I promise you, I promise you, every single person in the room can do that, okay? Maybe you don't think you can.

Maybe you'll believe it by the end of the event. I promise you, you can do that. And I also promise something here, that if you do do that, okay, you will make more money from it than you think that you'll make. Why?

Because, it's like if somebody asks me, it's like, well, you know, how much money have you made from doing that stuff? I'll never stop making the money that I've made from doing that stuff. I'll never stop. You know what I mean?

Do you guys get that? It's like Paul Hutchings. Well, how much did I make sponsoring Daniel who quit? Maybe a hundred million dollars.

You know what I mean? I have no idea. How much did I make from sponsoring Aaron Rashka? Could be a hundred million dollars.

I don't know. Right? Because we'll be working together all our lives. Right?

How much am I going to make from this event? A billion dollars or something probably. Now why? Because I'm not going to make a billion dollars selling you something.

I mean you guys don't have a billion dollars so I can't do that. It's because this group of people will result in Empower Network eventually reaching a billion and a half dollars a year in sales and creating a hundred million dollars a year. And all of it will come from this group of people right now and the people you bring and the people they bring in. So it's kind of like a trick question.

You know what I mean? Because you can't like how much is it? You know what I mean? I don't know how much it is.

I have no clue. Right? What I do know is your life will be permanently altered if that's what you do. Right?

Permanently. Right? So in order to do this or any variation of it here's what needs to happen. Okay?

I'm going to tell you. You need to be just a commitment to yourself to be all in as soon as you possibly can if you're not right now. Right? Today would be optimal.

You need to have your ticket within the next hour so when you talk to people you can tell them Dave Wood told me to get my ticket and I got it the first hour it was on sale and if you don't buy it in the next hour I'll never talk to you again. And if you do that your team will all buy tickets or quit and it's fine if they quit. Don't worry about it. Because you're bringing in two a day so you don't have to worry about whiners, wussies, complainers, excuses.

Right? You don't have to. So here's the deal. Next event we are going to come back we will have a minimum, minimum show up in that room of 2500 people and it will all result from what you guys do.

I promise you it's going to happen. I'm aiming for bigger but I know it will be a minimum of that. Okay? Why?

Because we're going to do some neat stuff. We're going to do retargeting and stuff like that. Smart marketing and we're also going to grow a bunch. Right?

Just wait until we start our retargeting plans for blog traffic and stuff. That'll be fun. Right? Imagine if all the 850,000 people that were clicking through the sales video from Google search were retargeted and chased around on all the websites they visit.

We couldn't do that when we had no margins. We can do it now. We would have done, we would have done, we would have done seriously if we were doing that in 2013 we would have done 300 million dollars in sales. So anyways, right?

So here's the deal. You need your tickets in the next hour. I don't actually know how long the break is. We are going to take a break until everybody who's done ordering tickets has ordered them and they're back in the chairs.

Right? For the next, for this break the tickets are $97. $97. Okay?

And then after that hour they're going to increase by $10 and tonight they're going to go up another 10. So it's going up 20 bucks tonight. Right? But you only have one hour to get them at this price.

Now, that's it. And that will be the only time ever, ever that you're going to be able to get tickets at that price. We will not lower them to $97 again. Okay?

Only chance for a discount. The reason I'm doing that is to encourage you to do what you should do. Now here's the deal. If you do not want to build Empower Network and you've decided that this weekend don't buy tickets to the next event.

Fine. And I wouldn't pressure you to do something that you don't want to do. But if you are going to build Empower Network and that's what you've decided to do or you think you're going to do it right? Don't kid yourself.

You will not make any money here if you don't buy your tickets in the next hour. So you might as well go home. I'm serious. No sense in being here for my speech later tonight if you're not going to do it.

Go home. Right? Got theirs. So they're $97.

Right? $97. Price increases. Name of the next event is Unleash.

I don't know. Unleash. Okay? Name of the next event.

I never know what's going on. Okay? In the back office. Okay?

Who has their tickets already? Okay. Has your tickets already. Now who wants to make money in Empower Network?

Who doesn't want to make money in Empower Network? So who wants to make money in Empower Network? Who wants to get a million dollar ring? Who in here wants to get 100 people to the next event?

Who in here wants to make 10,000 a month and more? Who in here wants to get an all-in sale every day? Who in here is going to bring 50 to 70 people to the next event personally? And bring 200 people to the next event.

All right. Then who's going to have their tickets today? All right. Now that's the deal.

$97. Okay? For the next hour only. And then it's going to go up to 107.

And then you're going to have until the rest of the night to get them for up to 117. Right? And that's what it's going to be after that. And then we'll start.

And this is only available to you guys. It's not available to people outside this room. If I were you, and I'm going to be real, okay? If I were you, and I was brand new, I would not have any less than 5 to 10 tickets in the next hour.

I would not have any less than that. That's just me. Okay? I'm not telling you what to do because I don't know if you want to do this or not.

Right? But if you go out of here with 5 or 10 tickets, you will bring people to the next event. I promise you, you'll do it. Okay?

Where is the next event? Does anybody know? I don't know. Huh?

Nashville. Nashville. Who's excited to have 3,000 people in Nashville? All right.

All right. All right. So here's the deal. Who's going to do it?

Who's going to do it? All right, guys. You have one hour, and I promise you, if you make the commitment right now to get to that next event, right now, okay? Look, successful people do not take a long time to make decisions about stuff like this.

Okay? And here's why. Let me tell you guys why they don't make, they don't need to make a decision about it, guys. Right?

Because successful people make the important decision. And let me tell you what the important decision is. I was talking about it in the last couple of webinars. The important decision is not whether to go to the event.

Okay? The important decision is not whether to get your tickets. Right? That's not a decision.

That's one of the core commitments. Right? Because when you decide that you're going to do this, you don't need to re-decide to do every single step every single time you need to make a decision. When you decide that you're going to do this, you don't decide to go to the event.

When you decide that you're going to do this, you don't decide to listen to the inner circle. When you decide that you're going to do this, you don't decide to blog. You decide that you're going to do this, and then you follow the commitments. That's how you build an organization.

And did you know it takes way less emotional energy, way less to make a decision one time, and one time only, and then to never have to decide on any of this stuff ever again for the rest of your life? And that's what all of you should do if you want to be a leader, and you want to be sitting in the front, and you want to build rooms of 10 and 15 and 20,000 people. In Amway, they used to tell it like this. They said, which event do you go to?

And they said, all of them. For how long? Forever. That's what they said.

Why do they say that? They say that because that is why they do a billion dollars a month in sales and are still around after 60 and 70 years. And they have events in North America, where they'll have five events going on the same weekend on the West Coast. Each one has 15 to 20,000 people in different cities.

And we will do the same. Right? Who here's pumped up for Unleash? Who here's gonna get your tickets?

Who's gonna get at least five tickets? All right, less people, but we got some leaders who are gonna be in the room, right? All right, so you guys got, I think, what is it, like 40 minutes? Sales break.

Go buy your tickets. I love you guys. Go through the level up sequence. Okay?

It's the first thing you wanna make sure they do. Call them, tell them it's there. They should know it's there, because they just bought a, you know, they watched a video and bought it. Right?

But not all of them will go through it. They'll just skip over it. You wanna make sure they go through it. I'm gonna tell you how to do that here in a minute.

All right? And then there's something you're gonna do after they go through it, okay, to aid them in the buying process. And if you do the two, you're just gonna make a lot more money than if you don't. All right?

That's the number one thing. Number two, start the 21-day blogging challenge. Okay? Why?

Here's why. If you get people to go through the level up sequence, okay, you're essentially getting them to commit to the upsell process. So they're gonna make a commitment to you to go through the upsell process in its entirety as fast as possible. I think it's about two and a half hours.

Right? The whole thing. It'll take them to go through it. Right?

They can do it in one sitting. They can do it over a week. But you're gonna get them to commit to a time when it will be completed. Okay?

And you don't have to do this. I'm just telling you, this will make you more money and you'll have time to do it because nobody in here is bringing in 15 people a day. All right? I'm bringing in like 10 people a day, but nobody else is remotely close.

Okay? So number one, get them to go through it. Number two, you're gonna do something with them after they go through it. Number three, get them to go through and complete the 21-day blogging challenge.

Get them to commit to do it. And here's the key. Not all of them will do it. But if people will start blogging after they buy the product, they will keep the product.

Okay? People very rarely quit quickly if they're using the product. They quit very frequently when they never log in and use it. Okay?

So how do you do that? Call them. Let me tell you how a conversation go and tell you how easy this is to do. All right?

Get a new member to join. Right? If you're bringing in lots of people, you can have an assistant call your new ones and only talk to people after they've been through the, you know, the level up sequence because then you can close them and make a bunch of money from the phone calls. Right?

I'll teach you how to do that too. So how do you do it? New member comes in. Call them up.

Ring, ring. Hey, is this Mary? Yes. Mary, this is Dave Wood.

I just noticed you came into the team. I wanted to call and welcome you to the team. How you doing? I'm doing good.

I promise you they're going to be surprised if you do that. They're going to be shocked if you call them. They're going to be like, somebody on the internet called me. That never has happened when I've bought anything.

Right? Say, Mary, I want to have a conversation with you. I've only got a handful of minutes and then I've got a jet and I actually want to have a follow-up conversation with you too. Okay?

You got five minutes right now. Yeah, I got five minutes. Just real quick, I want to ask you a handful of questions, all right? Because I want to find out how I can help you reach your goals here.

Is that okay? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Right? Your voice tones have changed a little bit. First of all, Mary, what is it that you want to learn how to be able to do here? What is it that you want to accomplish here that made you decide to pull out your credit card and buy?

Well, you know, I want to make $2,000 a month or I've always wanted to succeed online. I've never known how to do it or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Let me tell you the reasons. So you want to make $2,000 a month, Mary?

Yeah? I want to ask you a couple of questions here and the reason I'm going to ask these questions is because I need to qualify whether or not I should invest time into you to help you accomplish that goal or not. That okay? Yeah, it's okay.

First of all, how many hours a week do you have that you could dedicate towards reaching your $2,000, $3,000 a month? Oh, I got 10 hours a week. You got 10 hours a week? In other words, when you tell me you have 10 hours a week, are you actually going to work for 10 hours a week?

If I tell you what to do to make $3,000 a month, will you do it? Yeah, I'll do it if you tell me what to do. People always respond the same stuff. You know what I mean?

Always, 100% of the time. It's the easiest thing ever. So you'd do it if I tell you to do it. Yeah, I'll do it.

And I want to ask you a really specific question because if you don't answer this in the way that I'm expecting you to answer it, I can't ever talk to you again. And it's not because I don't like you. It's not because I'm not appreciative that you just joined. It's because my time's really valuable and I can really only work with a few serious people.

If I tell you to do something and you commit to me to do it, will you actually follow through and do it? Or are you gonna constantly give me excuses on why you can't? No, no. I'll follow through and do it.

One last question and then I'm gonna give you a couple of assignments and then schedule a follow-up call with you. Okay? Okay. How much money do you have to invest in your business to get it started in the right way?

I don't know if we should use the word invest. Maybe you could use a different word than that. Ask compliance. That was awful.

Sorry, guys. Anyways, right? Well, I got, you know, $1,000, $1,500, $500, they're gonna tell you something. Right?

You say, okay, so you have $1,000 set aside to where you could invest into your business to get it started in the right way. Is that right? Yeah, that's right. Okay, I'm gonna give you two assignments right now.

Now, whether or not I'm going to work with you ever again is going to be entirely determined on whether or not you complete in full these two assignments. If you complete them, I'm gonna have a follow-up call with you. If you don't complete them, we will never talk again. Is that fair?

Yeah, that's fair. All of a sudden, you've, like, turned from, like, some random person on the internet to an authority. You don't have to make any commissions or any money at all to talk like this. Right?

You say, number one, all right, you just bought a training series. It's called the level-up sequence, okay? You probably saw it when you logged in right after you bought. All right?

Have you watched any videos, any parts of the level-up sequence? Oh, yeah, I watched maybe 10 minutes of the first one and then I kind of skipped it back off because people are gonna do things like this. What you then do is this. Okay.

I'm gonna give you two assignments, okay? That whole series is gonna take you two and a half, three hours to complete. Okay? When is the soonest possible time that you will commit to me that you will have that entire series completed all the way through?

Well, is that important? Yeah, it's important. I won't talk to you again if you don't do it. I could do it, you know, tonight, you know.

Most people say that. They'll just do it at one go, right? Because you're telling them it's important, right? Now, why is that important for them to do?

Because if they go through that process immediately upon joining, they're gonna be educated immediately on the value of the products and going all in. They're gonna know how much it costs. They're gonna know how the business is built, right? They're gonna know what they're buying.

They're gonna know what they're selling, right? All of a sudden, you have dramatically increased their chances for success, haven't you? Okay? But what else have you done?

You've educated them on what it means to go all in through a third-party tool, right? Soon enough to where they can actually do it in the discount window if they really want it, right? So they're gonna be educated right away. And you've done it in a way where you're immediately established as an authority.

So yeah, I could do it tonight. By what time? What time could you do it tonight? What time will you have completed all two and a half, three hours of that sequence?

Gosh. You know, nine o'clock? Okay, I don't have any time, Mary, tonight at nine o'clock. But what I want you to do after you've completed the sequence is I want you to send me an email and tell me that it's done.

Will you promise me to do that? Yeah, I'll do that. Okay. Now, there's no cheating here.

I'm gonna actually ask you some questions about the videos. And if you can't answer the questions and you've not watched them, that will be our last video. Okay? So, I'm gonna ask you some questions about the videos.

And if you can't answer the questions and you've not watched them, that will be our last phone call. Ever. Is that okay? And the reason I'm talking to you like this is because I want to help you succeed.

I want to help you get to that $3,000 a month. And if you are not willing to listen to assignments, I know in advance that I can't help you. Is that fair? Yeah, fair.

Everybody will respond virtually the same to that. And if they don't respond to that, let them quit. And please let them go get their money back immediately. Right?

Because if they're gonna fight and bicker and say, you know what, I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do that, and they come over and argue with you and hassle you when you're talking to them like that, you just don't want to be around them. We don't want them in the company to be honest with you. We just, they can go do something else. Right?

I'm cool with that. I'm cool giving them their money back. But you have just totally changed your role in that person's life from some random affiliate who they clicked on a link and bought from a video to all of a sudden, you are now their mentor helping them reach their dreams and goals who, when you speak and you give an assignment, they must listen to what you tell them to do. And if they don't do it, it's fine.

Cut them off. Yeah. Right? Now, what do you do next?

Schedule a follow-up call. All right, so you're gonna do it by nine o'clock. I don't have time to talk to you tonight because I'm busy. So what I'm gonna do is tomorrow, I have some time between one and two where I could do a follow-up call.

Can you break free of whatever you're doing between that time and promise me you will be by your phone available and expect when I've called that you'll have gone through the entire sequence and watched every single video and know what's in them. What time will work for you? It's between one and two. Would one or 1.30 be better?

Okay. Talk to you then. Now you're gonna call a person back who is educated on all the products, knows how much money they are, who you have authority with, and then you can pop on the phone and have $1,000 conversations and $2,000, $3,000 conversations in 10 and 15 minutes. Okay?

Now that's the first thing you want to get them to do. The second thing you want to get them to do is make them commit if they want your attention and help to complete the 21-day blogging challenge. Now, not everybody who starts that is gonna complete it because it takes more than five seconds, you know what I'm saying? But if they write five posts, right, which most people will if you talk to them, they're not going to quit for quite some time.

They'll stay in way longer. Your residual income will be bigger. They'll buy more products. They'll be more excited.

They'll be more likely to get on the conference calls, more likely to get to the next event. Does that make sense? Now, when you have a follow-up call, you want to do a combination of closing them on what they can do and also making sure that they get on the next couple of webcams. Right?

We're gonna have one every week, Tuesday and Thursday. All right? Now, why do you want them to get on those webcams? Because we are going to help you sell them on getting all in through third-party webcams.

And if you get them there and get them to commit to go there, right, even if they don't buy on the phone with you, a lot of them will buy on the webcams because there's a timer that's going to be running out of time. And they're gonna be educated See, the problem, like, right now we've got the bundles, right? What's the problem with them? Well, people come in and by the time the timer runs out, they might not even know what it means to be all in yet.

You guys know? That's why a lot of you don't make all-in sales, because people have no clue what it means. They just see a timer and it's like this video that's like 10 minutes. Whereas with this, if you get people to go through that process, and they will go through it almost 100% of the time if you talk to them like that, your up-sell ratios are gonna go crazy.

Okay? And it doesn't take a lot of time. Who in here thinks they could do that? Okay.

Now, if you want to get better at the language I just used, at the questions I just used, all of you need to go through which product? Top producer formula. Who in here has actually been through that product? Okay?

Who in here has that product but has not gone through it? Honestly, just be honest. Okay. If you go through that product, like, I have scripts, I have transcriptions, okay, and I have live examples where I'm walking through, closing people, overcoming objections and getting them to pull out their credit card and buy.

And it's good stuff. And if you listen to that product, okay, and I'm telling you, here's the best way to get value from that product. Go listen to those live examples where I'm closing and overcoming objections, talk to a new customer and do it, listen to it again, talk to a new customer and do it, listen to it again and repeat that process until 80% of the people you're talking to are buying all the way up to at least $500. Okay?

And if you do that right, if you do what I just told you to do, anybody in here could learn very quickly to get 80% of your customers to buy the inner circle and to buy all the way up to the top producer formula. Okay? So, if you do that right, if you do what I just told you to do, anybody in here could learn very quickly to get 80% of your customers to buy the inner circle Okay? Higher than that, it's going to be less because not everybody has money to do those things immediately.

Okay? But your ratios for all that higher stuff is going to be way up. That make sense? Now, what does it look like and what's the difference between getting 80% of the people to do something like that and getting just the numbers that we're going to get naturally as a system from our process being good?

What's the difference? The difference is the difference of bringing in 10 times the people right? To get the same result of somebody bringing in a 10 to the people as you. It's a big difference.

Okay? A big difference. Chris, what's your Chris Rush, what's your all in ratio? It's like one to five, right?

22% of his customers go all in. Well, most people don't get 22% of their customers to go all in. Why does he do that? Because he does what's in the top producer formula.

Okay? If you do it like this, like this, like this, if you'll do it and listen, do it and listen, do it and listen, do it and listen, spaced repetition of information. Okay? If you only listen and you never try it, you're not going to get good at it.

But if you'll listen to it then do it, then listen to it then do it, then listen to it then do it, then listen to it and do it. It's only going to take you 10 or 15 times to get all the way up to 80% closing ratios of people getting all the way up to the top to get everybody in here. Okay. Who can do that?

Okay? Who just believes a little bit more that you can do it after just hearing the way that you do that? Right? You're like, that actually makes sense to talk to people like that, doesn't it?

Isn't it better than begging? Isn't it better than begging? Right? Now it's really important whenever you're building a team and a community to plug people into our cultures and systems.

If you don't do that, okay, you need to plug people in to our culture and system. Plug people in. The first part of that is getting all of them to go through that level up sequence. Bring them in, get them to go through it.

Bring them in, get them to go through it. Bring them in, get them to go through it. Just doing those two things, bringing people in and getting them through it, you're going to make more money than we've ever been able to make before in Empower Network from less work. Okay?

Because it's a good process. Bring people in, get them to go through it. Bring people in, get them to go through it. Okay?

That make sense? Everybody in here? Okay. Number one, we're all going to go through that funnel.

Who in here is going to go through that funnel the second it's live? All the way through. Okay. I got a question for you.

What time is the funnel going live? Tuesday, do we know the time? 10 a.m. Eastern time.

Okay? 10 a.m. Eastern time. So I'm going to, I just want to challenge you guys here in this room.

You guys down for a challenge? Okay. What is the soonest that it would be possible to complete all the way through the first Mars? So is the, is that including the fifth bonus video?

Two and a half hours? So about three hours including the bonus video. So we'll say three hours. So it goes live at 10 o'clock.

What's the soonest possible that you could be through it? One. One. Who in here will be through that funnel by 1.30 p.m.?

Okay. Who in here will be all the way through that funnel, have watched all the way through it so you understand it, right, by at least that day? By Tuesday? By midnight Tuesday who will be through it?

Okay. If you're not raising your hand, you need to question whether or not you should quit. I'm just being honest with you. Okay.

If you're not willing to do the things that you need to do to build your business, right, you need to ask the question, am I going to do this or should I just quit? You're welcome to hang out. We're not going to make fun of you, right, but if you're not willing to do the things that you know are required of you to do in order to build your business, are you going to succeed here? No.

So then why are you here? To hang out? You know, you can go to a casino and do that. You could go to a discotheque, right?

You can go to like join a church or something like that. If you just want to pay money, you know, and be a part of something, go join the Mormons, right? Who in here is actually going to make this happen no matter what? You're going to.

Who in here is going to do it, right? Now, now, here's the thing. Raise your hand if you already have tickets to the next event. Pretty good.

Pretty good. I'm getting better at this. Actually, that's the best response I've ever had in a room. I need to watch myself do that and see what I was doing differently this time.

That was pretty good. Yeah. It's the guilt trip, isn't it? Right?

No, you guys are awesome. Normally, it's like 40% of the hands go up in the room. That's almost everybody. Huh?

What, 40 tickets? I want all of you to give yourselves a hand. That's good. I'm getting good at this, Silvio, right?

See, it's talking to people like this that makes people take the actions that they need to take to succeed. Being weak with people does not help them. It doesn't. See, a lot of the times people are weak with other human beings, right, because they want to be nice.

Isn't it? They want to be, I want to be nice. It's not nice to keep someone poor because you're not willing to have courage. Right?

You got to learn, you got to learn that you and your business, see, everybody here ever read, anybody in here ever like, you know, read any books on setting up good boundaries, emotional boundaries, you know, boundaries in relationships, boundaries with children, right? Anybody in here know about setting boundaries in your life? Right? You got to learn how to set your boundaries as a leader in your business.

What people have to do to get around you and stay around you. What people have to do to get your time and attention. What people must do in order for you to help them in their business. What people must do to even be in the same room as you.

Okay? You set your boundaries. Okay? And they must adhere to those boundaries or you go find somebody new.

Make sense? Okay? A leader doesn't show up to the events, I won't talk to them. Sorry.

I don't care how much money they make. They're not part of the culture. Won't do it. Okay?

You must learn to do that and when you learn to act like that, it's not mean because people will fall into line because they're following a real leader. And that's what people want to do. Okay? So, I'm going to give you some tips because everybody knows instinctually you got to follow a great leader in order to become one.

You guys know that? You got to learn to plug in to the right people. And it's funner setting up good boundaries because you don't have to deal with weak, whiny, complainy weenies. Right?

Somebody calls you up or messages you and they start giving you excuses, what do you do? Interrupt them. Yeah, cut them off. Wait, stop.

Stop. Stop. Until they stop talking. Then say, now let me tell you why I told you to stop.

Okay? I have two rules here. Number one, I don't take any excuses from myself for any result that I'm getting or not getting. Number two, I will not allow you to give me excuses.

So, here's the deal. You can keep making excuses on your own and never talk to me ever again and do it in a bathroom looking at yourself in the mirror, looking at yourself saying, hi weenie or, or, you can decide right now to never, ever, ever give me an excuse on why you can't, on why you won't do what you need to do and you must do in order to get the results that you want because these are your dreams, they're on the line because if you're not going to do it I'm going to go find somebody new. Boundaries, right? And it actually takes less work to get people to take more action to get people to duplicate better and to make way more money.

Did you know that, I want to teach you guys something. If you build this right it gets easier as your business gets bigger. It actually gets easier. It actually takes less work to produce consistently bigger and bigger and bigger results as you're building an organization properly if you're doing things right.

How many of you know if you acted like I just described you would already be getting way more upsells? Way more, right? Not a little bit more. I mean I'm not talking about a 2% conversion difference.

Conversions cannot do what I just taught you to do. A marketing funnel cannot do what I just taught you to do. It can't do it. Only you can do it and if you do it your people will do it and how do you teach them to do it?

Tell them to go through the top producer formula, bring in members and do that, go through the top producer formula, bring in members and do that and repeat it until they're getting 80% of the people buying up to at least that $500 product and then you'll get a little bit better and you'll get 50 and 60% of the people to buy all the way in. Right? And then you'll get even better and you'll be getting 22% of your people buying all the way up to getting all in and how much money would you make if you were bringing in two people a day and one out of five almost was going all in, right?

How much more money would you be making if you just did that with zero duplication? Way, way more than any of you have ever made in your life probably with very few exceptions in this room. And I just taught you how to do it in like an hour and if you'll do that and plug people into our culture as a requirement, a requirement, as a requirement to work with you, they must be a part of the culture. You gotta get on the calls, you gotta come to the events, right?

And you gotta follow our process. If you don't do it, it's fine, you're welcome to be here and fiddle around with your final $500 months but don't expect, don't expect attention and support from me because I'm busy either working with the people who are already doing that or finding new people who are gonna replace you. Yeah, totally different, isn't it? That's the attitude of somebody that gets people to take action.

Okay? To take action. No excuses. No excuses.

All right? Who in here is excited about having no excuses for yourself or other human beings? You guys excited about that? Now, it's gonna take you a little while to master all the stuff that we're doing here but it's really only a few things that you need to learn how to do.

How long does mastery take? Anybody know? Been a bunch of studies done on this. 10,000 hours.

That's proven, right? That's how, that's how your brain works. It takes 10,000 hours to master something. How long does fluency, being able to use something to be able to get a result, 700 hours, right?

700 hours to learn a language, right? To be fluent. 10,000 hours to master a language. Right?

That's how long it takes kids to learn how to read really well too. It's how long it takes to be proficient or a master at anything. Right? But if you do that, you gotta commit to the process far before you ever attain mastery.

How does that break down? How does that break down? How long will it take you to master something if you do it for one hour a day? What, 40 years almost?

30? 30 years? One hour a day, you can master something in about 30 years. Right?

Two hours a day? Cuts it in half. 15 years. Right?

Three hours a day? Well, all of a sudden, you could do it in like 10 years. But it's gonna take a certain amount of time to master something. Okay?

And you guys gotta understand that, that if you want to make a lot of money, not just for a month, for two months, if you wanna make a lot of money for a long time, a long time, right, you gotta eventually step into a role of mastery here. But you don't have to do it to make 10 or 20 or $30,000 a month. Right? But eventually, you'll want to do it so you are in control of your future no matter what happens.

Right? Who in here wants to be in control of your own future? Right? But you must commit to that process of mastery long before you ever step into it.

Right? Takes about 10 years. Right? Isn't that interesting?

You know what's interesting when I thought about that? I thought about my own journey through network marketing. I was reading about this mastery thing just the other day. I thought about my own journey.

I started in 2002, but really, I had no skills before because I've been selling since I was, you know, 18. And then when I was 19, I was a Mormon missionary. And if that doesn't teach you how to sell, I don't know what does. You know what I mean?

That's the hardest thing in the world to sell. You know? Pay tithing. Don't drink coffee.

Don't drink tea. Don't drink alcohol. Stop having sex. You're not allowed to masturbate.

Look at porn and give me 10% of your income. Right? Hard thing to sell. You know what I mean?

Right? But let's say 2002. Let's just take this. I had to reach a pretty high level of proficiency to make any money at all because I was never a part of something that had systems like Empower Network.

If you had to build our funnels and you had to build your own front-end processes and you had to set up your own websites and you had to learn to do all that stuff, it would take you a very long time to gain the level of proficiency that you need to make any serious amount of money. Here, check this out. So 2002, I start network marketing. All right?

2009, I start making about $30,000 a month. Right? In seven years. Guess how many hours a day I was trying to build network marketing for seven years?

About four. What's that add up to? How many hours is that over seven years? It adds up to, funny enough, funny enough, right about exactly 10,000 hours.

Isn't that interesting? Never thought about it like that. Isn't that fascinating, Justin? Right?

See, in Power Network, you can make money a lot before that. I was just saying stupid stuff. Because we have good processes, good systems, good culture. Okay?

But eventually, you'll want to step into the role of mastery if you want to put on events with thousands and thousands of people. If you want to be able to recruit thousands of people in a year without phone calls and stuff like that and really step into a high level of proficiency in your business, it will take you some time. But you don't have to be a master right now to go get two people a day, promote them into the next event and participate in the culture. You have to be a master to create a culture of your own which you don't need to do.

Okay? So, what does mastery look like? Okay? What is it?

It's an accumulation of knowledge that kind of builds its way into your nervous system to a point where you gain a kind of special intuition about something to where you can see things that other people can't see in that particular area where you're a master. Right? People tell me all the time in Empower Network, they're like, David has this weird intuition about this thing. Right?

Isn't that true, Kevin? You've been around me for a long time. It's true, isn't it? Isn't it true, Mars?

It's like I never read my email but I always answer the right ones. Right? I always run into the right people all the time. You know what I mean?

I always pop on the phone calls that I actually need to be on but conveniently miss the ones I don't need to be on. I always show up right at the right time with the right people to produce the result that leads us to the next step and I always know what to do all the time. Why? Because of that.

So what I do is I want to show you another neat Kung Fu trick. Okay? I'm going to be a guinea pig here. If that guy's still here.

Is he still here? Is he still here? Is Sifu still here? He's back there?

You guys have the blindfold? I have the blindfold. I'm now going to be afraid for the next couple of minutes. Right?

So you got a blindfold? Did they get you one? Okay, cool, cool. Somebody else maybe will need to help him tie that on his head.

So anyways, Kung Fu is kind of a weird martial art where once you have contact with another person you respond through it's a kinesthetic response. You're feeling the power and the direction and the energy of the other person and you can actually do that without the need to see at all. Right? I actually showed that to Paul Gardner the other day.

I showed him some YouTube videos where some Kung Fu masters were fighting other Kung Fu masters with blindfolds on just kicking the shit out of each other. Right? And he was like, I have never seen something like that in my entire life. Right?

So in Kung Fu you develop that through an exercise called Chi Sao which is sticking hands which is learning to stick to the direction and the energy. Really sticking to the other person's core. Right? And I don't want to explain how all of it works.

What I want to do is put a blindfold on him. Okay? And have him show you on me. Because I would not make any of you agree to this ever.

It would look a little bit weird. Okay? But what I want to demonstrate is something actually really simple. Here.

I'm going to come out here. Right? He will need to be touching me because he can't feel me if I'm like standing behind him with a hammer or something like that. You know what I mean?

But there's very few people in the world that can do things like what you're about to say. Okay? Where once he touches my hands, right? I really can't do anything to him at all.

Right? So. Here. Turn this way.

Okay. Thank you. Give him a hand. Now that is some scary shit right there.

So, probably some of you think I'm not trying but, you know, I just can't do anything. Right? Like sticking my hands into meat grinders. Who here thought that was a little weird and cool?

Now, the thing is I actually can fight way better than an average person. You know what I mean? You know? Yeah, I wouldn't look like that if I was fighting most of you.

Right? So, right? There's some good martial artists in here too and you guys are impressed aren't you? Right?

So, in any case the role that you step into over time changes as you gain unconscious knowledge of something to a proficiency level where you always know the right thing to do. Okay? If you guys want to earn millions of dollars, millions, that's where you need to go. Okay?

There will be a day in Empower Network when I earn as an affiliate a million dollars a month. Okay? Why? Because I want to lead by example.

Right? There will be people in Empower Network that earn a million dollars a month that are not in yet. The biggest leaders we will ever have in the company have not joined yet, I promise. Okay?

There will be people in here who will have teams by themselves that are ten times bigger than all the people that have joined Empower. And they're not even in right now. But in order to get there with us, you need to commit to that process. First is getting the information in your brain.

What do you need to master in Empower Network? What do you need? You need to master the top producer formula, team builder formula, and mass influence formula. Okay?

The first part of that is getting information into your brain. That's why we have those products, right? That's why we have them. Some of you don't know that.

Why do you need to do that? Well, because the first thing you need to learn to do is produce, which I taught you some tonight, and I told you that to get good at it, you got to go through the top producer formula and understand how to do it. Right? Right?

Right? Okay? The second thing you need to learn to do is build teams. Where do we teach that?

The team building formula. The next thing that you need to do is kind of an influence and where do you learn that? You learn that in the mass influence formula. That's what you need to master.

Now the easiest way to do that is to get that information into your brain as fast as possible and start working with it as you're building your business. That make sense? Okay? Those products are a result of my journey into this.

Okay? Who in here is a little more excited to go through those products? Okay. Now, real quick, if you are already all in in Empower Network, I want you to stand up because we want to salute you.

Already all in members. Look at this. Give these guys a hand, folks. Look at this.

This is some shit, isn't it? Almost all the room. Most action-taking room we've ever had in Empower Network, isn't it? Okay.

Okay. Go ahead. Sit down. Sit down.

Okay. Now, there's somebody in the room, there's somebody in the room and I don't know who it is. You just saw all those people stand up and you heard what I just said and you're not all in but you just decided to go all in and you're going to do it tonight. If that's you, I want you to stand up.

Is there anybody in here? Come on up on the stage. Come on up on the stage. Nice to meet you too.

Give these guys a hand. Okay. Everybody just sit down for a second. Sit down for a second.

What's your name? Zach. Zach. Welcome to All In.

Scott Riley. Scott Riley. Now, I'm expecting you all to actually do it tonight. You're going to do it tonight?

You're going to do it tonight? You're going to do it tonight? You already did? Today.

Give them a hand. All right. Now, actually, most of this room is already all in which is, we've never had a room like that before. You guys are the most badass action-taking crowd that we've ever had on Power Network.

Give yourselves a hand. If there's somebody else in the room there's only a few people not All In here. These three. I think that's cool, innit?

Okay. You guys want to know how to make a lot of money in Power Network this year. All In. Then, bring in two people a day and do what I taught you to do tonight.

With a focus on All In. How many of you are excited that our whole community is focused as a system, as a culture, as a process as a whole? Okay. For example, tomorrow we have the All In day.

Right? Who's gonna be here tomorrow? Give yourselves a hand. What are we doing?

We got a, we got a workshop with Neil Patel. Who liked listening to Neil today? That guy's way smarter than I'll ever be. Right?

You guys excited to hear him speak tomorrow? You guys excited to hear the other content we have prepared for you tomorrow? Okay. As we grow and as we continue into the future, we're gonna have the opportunity to continue into the future and Power Network is gonna get more and more focused on being All In.

Right? And making sure that the people who are All In, right, have access to the best quality information, private events, right, and spheres of association that you don't have if you're not All In. The reason we're going to do that, the reason why, is because we want to help you make as much money as you could possibly make in your business. And if we can age you, if we can help you, if I can help you, if the leadership can help you get more people All In, you are going to make way more money.

Way more than you've ever been able to make before. Because here's what's gonna happen this year. I promise you it's gonna happen. Our numbers will pick up bigger than they've ever been before.

The momentum will get bigger than it's ever been before. And at the same time, more people are going to go All In in Empower Network for the process that we're building than we've ever been able to create before because we're gonna be doing it in a single unified direction as a community, as a culture, as a process, as a marketing funnel, and also as our personal relationship and our conversations with people all working together aimed in one direction. Who here is excited about that? You guys want to know how to make a million dollars here?

About 300, I think about 330 All Ins in the first, in that discount window that would about do it. $3,000 commission time. Take a million dollars, divide it by 3,000. Right?

And you will make a million dollars from that many All Ins within the discount window. Okay? That's pretty cool, isn't it? So the question is, is how long would it take you to do that alone without a team duplicating?

All of you could do that alone in a couple of years. Some of you could do it in a year. What would happen if everybody in here went out in the next two years and got 300 All Ins? We would need another meeting just with million dollar ring earners.

Wouldn't that be cool? Yeah. That's all that it takes to make a million dollars. Right?

And there's something magical that happens the first time you make an All In sale and here's what it is. And I'm going to let you guys stay up here as long as you like. You can sit down, stay here, whatever you want to do. All right?

Just do not try to fight the Kung Fu master. Okay? Something special happens. What happens?

They earn a $3,000 commission. Right? During that discount period and then if people get All In later it's I think a total of $3,500. It's a little bit more.

Right? But it's also more expensive for the member. Right? If we focus on that promotion and educating people quickly we're going to get a lot bigger results as a team.

That cool? Okay. Something special happens the first time somebody makes an All In sale. What is it?

Belief? Right? What is it? The first time you get, well the first time you pass it up, the first time you get a commission, right?

The first time you get a commission, what happens? You just made in one day the average family income in North America. Okay? People completely change their beliefs about what's possible for them.

It changes people the first time they earn $3,000 in a day. Completely. I've seen it again and again and again and again. Who in here has earned $3,000 in a day at least one time in Empower Network?

Just raise your hands. Look around the room. Right? How many of you when you got that $3,000 day you were like, holy shit.

Honestly. You're like, oh yeah. Your heart starts pounding. You're like, I did that.

And here's why. If you can make $3,000 in a day once you can do it twice. If you can do it twice you can do it twice a month. If you can do it twice a month you can do it twice a week.

And you could even do it twice a day. Right? You can. How do I know that?

It took me six months to recruit my first person in network marketing. Okay? That was in 2002. Right?

Hilarious story I'll tell another time. I told it to Neil Patel and those guys. At dinner. And then all of a sudden I was doing it once a month.

You know, a few years later I wasn't making a lot of money. Then all of a sudden I was recruiting two and three a month. And that was in like 2006, 2007. Then 2009 I was recruiting two people a day.

With less work than it took me to recruit my first person in six months. And now I'm recruiting five, ten people a day. With less work than it took me to recruit two a day. So if you can do one time you can do it twice.

If you do it twice you can do it twice a month. If you could do it twice a month you could do it twice a week. If you could do it twice a week you could do it twice a day. How much is twice a day?

Well you could get a pass up and you could sell one a day over time. You could learn to do it. It's two million dollars a year. Quarter million dollars a month about.

Without including residuals and stuff like that. More money than anyone in here except for me probably has ever made in your entire lives. With maybe one or two exceptions depending on who's in the room. Okay?

And you can grow to there. Imagine if you could get to a time in your business when you were getting an all in commission once per day. On average through the week. A million dollars a year.

A million bucks a year. Imagine doing that. Imagine getting to the place getting to the place in your life in your life when you could turn it on like that and bring in two, three, four all ins in a day anytime you want. Imagine getting to a place in your business when you're getting more all ins from pass ups than what you're selling yourself.

Imagine imagine what it feels like to not just become a million dollar earner. Imagine what it feels like to help another person become one. Feels awesome. I'll tell ya.

You know how I felt when Lawrence Tam made $49,000 the first five weeks in Empower Network? You know how it felt? You know how it felt the first time we gave a million dollar ring away? When we came up with this?

How it felt? How it feels to bring Chuck Marshall on stage and give him a million dollar ring? How it felt to give one to Tracy Walker when I know he could barely afford his rent a couple years before? To have Lawrence not only earn $50,000 in a month but also to get a million dollar ring the same guy who was about to quit?

To give one to Tracy Walker and to see her cry on stage? Do you know how that feels guys? It's awesome. See once you accomplish to a certain level in your life like you just you just like you know getting more stuff doesn't really make you feel any better.

And everybody has their level for that. It could be $20,000 a month. Normally people are like you know $50,000 $20,000 $30,000 a month they're like most people they like feel like they've arrived. But then to help another human being step into that is totally a different feeling indeed.

You can be so impactful and so powerful with other people if you make a decision that you're going to do this no matter what. And you don't even know how far the ripples go. From people who decide not to kill themselves from listening to an inner circle audio to saving a family from poverty. Right?

Building an organization so big that you start bringing people to events and people meet the love of their life at the events like Paul and Kim. Right? Seeing people who never believed in themselves before all of a sudden have a fire light up inside and for the first time ever believe that you too can become great. Right?

Seeing a $10,000 earner who's been stuck there for 10 years all of a sudden get to 20 and 30. Right? Alex being able to quit his dumb job he hated. And he's close to a million dollars too.

You know? How deep do the ripples go from your decisions? Right? And what's lost if you don't make that decision?

What would Justin Varengia have lost out on if I didn't make the decision to do this? What would Lawrence Tam have lost out on if I didn't make a decision to do this no matter what? What would have Paul Hutchings lost out on? What would Paul Hutchings have lost out on?

Right? What will the world lose out on if you don't step into your power? It's not just a shame for you it's a shame to all the people and all the ripples of influence and other people that you're destined to impact and won't. Therefore if you have a dream it's your responsibility to step into that dream as a human being because when you do you also change the world around you and make it a place.

You're more important than you think you are and I know that because you're here in the room. I have a interesting energy with people where people get around me and they just start to change things in their life. They just start to make new decisions about their future. They change their careers.

They get out of a nasty relationship and into a beautiful one. They start making more money. They start believing in themselves. They feel differently about your future because I believed in my dreams.

What a shame it would have been if I had decided to quit. What a shame it would have been if I decided to throw in the towel. It'd be like watching all the way through the end of the Rocky movie and he just doesn't get up in the tenth round. He'd be like what the fuck was this?

You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? Your decisions matter.

You matter. Your future matters. The people in this room matter. And now we're playing Braveheart music because it's time to have some bravery in your heart.

Isn't it? Everybody stand up. Give yourselves a hand. You guys gonna do this?

You guys gonna make this happen? You can do it. Trust me. If you don't believe in you, I believe in you.

The leaders believe in you. Are you gonna do it? You gonna make it happen? We're gonna change the world?

Then let's do it guys. I'll see you tomorrow.

I'd like you all to go absolutely nuts and help me bring back to the stage Mr. Dave Wood! Love you, dude. You need a whiteboard or anything? two, yeah.

Alright, alright, so... That was hilarious, wasn't it? Disclose that! Alright. Disclosure, I own the company and can do what I want.

Alright, hold on a second. Hey, baby, I just wanted to tell you something. I love you and I miss you, wish you were here. everybody just say, I love you, Priscilla. Oh, wait, wait, wait, we gotta do a chant for Angel because he likes that, you know what I mean?

So, we'll just go, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell, and hell. Anyways, you gotta make it to the next one, babe. Love you, wish you were here, and, you are the reason why I do everything that I do. Yeah. Alright, so.

Alright. I got some amount of time to talk and sell you event tickets. No. I just think it's just so funny, you know what I mean? I'm like the, I was telling vacuum stories to Neil Patel, you know, backstage, and, he just thought, looked like, had this face on like it was the most hilarious shit of all time, you know?

I'm just a different cat, aren't I? You know, really? Like, I look at my life, and I look at the, the thing, the way that I even run this company makes no sense at all. To any other human being. They can't figure it out.

I remember I had a, a chef that lived in my house one time, and, and, she didn't know what I did, right?

And, they'd say, really? I'd say, no, not really.

I'm totally joking. What I do is secret. And, like, like, I, I was on an airplane one day. Right? And, and, this person.

Like, next to me. And, like, I just look like shit. You know what I mean? Because I, I'm dressing better now, thanks to Priscilla. but I still, I mean, if she was here, I'd look, like, five times better because she'd be picking my clothes.

You know what I mean? And I smell better now, too. But before, I used to smell like shit and look like shit all the time. Right? So I was sitting in, first class just looking like, looking like shit.

You know, so, so anyways, another time I was in a, I was in a taxi. Right? And this is, like, before Empower Network existed. This is, like, I was the, I was the top recruiter.

We were in Numis Network, you know, selling coins. And, you know, I was over at, you guys remember Numis Network?

But you know, reason why I tell jokes and stories is because if you laugh and you loosen up about things, different, you'll have things sink in a different way.

Right?

Kind of cool. Power Network's comp plan is pretty cool, right? But then, what happens, right?

Then, that made him go to our event. And he walked into that room and said, what the fuck have I been doing for the last year? This thing is awesome, true? Yeah! He's like, this is what I've always been looking for.

You know what I mean? So, events have a very particular effect, not just on you, right? But it also has a really particular effect on your team. And this is how we grow and keep our community together. Right?

And the reason is because you have an internal values conflict with even trying to do it.

Not easy.

How easy is it gonna be to get, your team members that join over the next few months to get their team, to get their ticket to the next event immediately after joining if you don't have one?

This is what I did in 2009 before Empower Network existed and it still works just like it worked back then except for we make a lot more money in Empower Network than I was making from those dumb companies that I was in 2009. A lot more, okay?

Now here's the way you do it, all right? Bring in two people a day, and you follow the eight core steps for the next 90 days. I promise you, you can. You can't do that if you're poking along like a snake. You can't.

You can't. You know what I mean? You can't. It's really hard to do. The faster you're building and the more people you're bringing in a shorter period of time, the easier it is to influence them to do things.

It's not like being a lawyer. It's not like selling cars where you have to sell cars all day, you know what I mean? Follow those eight steps. In a short burst of 90 days, it will radically and permanently change your life.

Permanently. You will not be the same person 10 years from now. You'll not be the same person a year from now, two years from now. You'll be a totally changed person if you do that. And I promise you, I promise you, every single person in the room can do that, okay?

Maybe you don't think you can. Maybe you'll believe it by the end of the event. I promise you, you can do that. And I also promise something here, that if you do that, okay, you will make more money from it than you think that you'll make.

All right.

I've never known how to do it or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Let me tell you the reasons. Yeah? I want to ask you a couple of questions here and the reason I'm going to ask these questions is because I need to qualify whether or not I should invest time into you to help you accomplish that goal or not.

That okay? Yeah, it's okay. Oh, I got 10 hours a week. You got 10 hours a week? In other words, when you tell me you have 10 hours a week, are you actually going to work for 10 hours a week?

All right?

Right? Right?

Okay. Now, real quick, if you are already all in Empower Network, I want you to stand up because we want to salute you.

And at the same time, more people are going to go All In Empower Network for the process that we're building than we've ever been able to create before because we're gonna be doing it in a single unified direction as a community, as a culture, as a process, as a marketing funnel, and also as our personal relationship and our conversations with people all working together aimed in one direction.

Who here is excited about that? You guys want to know how to make a million dollars here? About 300, I think about 330 All Ins in the first, in that discount window that would about do it.

Completely.

I've seen it again and again and again and again. Just raise your hands. Look around the room. Right? How many of you when you got that $3,000 day you were like, holy shit.

Honestly. You're like, oh yeah. Your heart starts pounding. You're like, I did that. And here's why.

Imagine what it feels like to not just become a million dollar earner. Imagine what it feels like to help another person become one. Feels awesome.

I'll tell ya.

To give one to Tracy Walker and to see her cry on stage? Do you know how that feels guys? It's awesome.

See once you accomplish to a certain level in your life like you just you just like you know getting more stuff doesn't really make you feel any better. And everybody has their level for that.

Your decisions matter. You matter. Your future matters. The people in this room matter.

And now we're playing Braveheart music because it's time to have some bravery in your heart. Isn't it? Everybody stand up. Give yourselves a hand. You guys gonna do this?

You guys gonna make this happen? You can do it. Trust me. If you don't believe in you, I believe in you. The leaders believe in you.

Are you gonna do it? You gonna make it happen? We're gonna change the world? Then let's do it guys. I'll see you tomorrow.
