Lesson 9

The Money Already In Your Brain, and the Job of Getting It Out

This lesson is part of Lake Las Vegas
The full recording is free with an account. One email gets you in.

A man flies in with a back injury bad enough that he’d already told the company to just ship the ring to him instead. He gets talked out of that. He shows up anyway, stands on a stage in front of a room full of strangers and friends, and the first thing out of his mouth has nothing to do with money. He almost didn’t come. He’d taken a long stretch away from the business entirely, and some part of him never fully left even when he wasn’t sure why he was staying. That is the real subject of this session. The commission numbers are just the part you can put in a headline.

What makes money a byproduct instead of the goal?

Before anyone gets called to the stage, the emcee makes a claim that sounds backwards until you sit with it: the financial result in this business is a byproduct. A byproduct of value created. A byproduct of lives touched. A byproduct of what a person’s team goes on to experience once that person decided to stick around. Chuck Marshall, the man with the back injury, is living proof of the claim before he even opens his mouth. He’d been in the industry about nine years, with this particular company since it opened in 2011. Somewhere in there he took what he calls a hiatus, a stretch where he slowed down and wasn’t totally sure what he was doing with his life. He never left. Not because the checks kept him. Because the people did.

He’s careful to say the quote he shares isn’t his own invention, just something he picked up and never let go of.

You have a million dollars in your brain. You just have to figure out how to get it out of there, you know.

Notice what that line doesn’t say. It doesn’t say the money is sitting in a bank account somewhere waiting on the right funnel. It says the raw material was already in you before you ever heard of this company, and the entire job is extraction, not creation. Chuck’s own arc backs it up. He started small, watched it grow bigger than he expected, stepped away, came back, and only somewhere in the middle of all that did he admit the money alone had stopped being enough. He wanted a purpose to go with it. That’s the internal conflict most people carry quietly and never say out loud in a room full of people who look like they’ve already figured it out.

Why does the room have to scream just as loud for the smallest number as the largest?

Once the recognition settles, the format changes entirely. This is Commission Countdown, and the mechanics are simple to describe and oddly demanding to actually run. Every income bracket in the room gets called to the stage in order, starting at the top and working down, one tier at a time, until the stage can’t physically hold another person. Then the format flips to the seats so the ceremony can keep going all the way down to whoever in the room has ever earned a single commission of any size at all.

What matters more than the order is the instruction given to the crowd before it starts. The emcee doesn’t ask for polite applause that tapers off as the numbers shrink. He asks for the opposite: “Never slow it down.”

That line is doing more work than it looks like. Left alone, a room’s energy naturally curves with the size of the number being celebrated. Big result, big noise. Small result, small noise, maybe a courtesy clap. This ceremony refuses that curve on purpose. The instruction is to yell just as hard for the person walking up after their first ever commission as for the person who’s carried a ring for years. Uncoupling the volume of celebration from the size of the result is the actual mechanism here, and it’s one you can use anywhere you lead people, a team, a classroom, a family. If your praise only gets loud at the ceiling, everyone underneath it quietly learns they don’t count yet.

What does it cost you to chase the number without the reason?

The emcee makes one more point earlier in the session that’s easy to miss because it’s delivered as a joke and lands as something closer to a warning. Give people money without giving them a reason for it, he says, and watch how fast it disappears, because people who get money without meaning usually go spend that same money trying to find the meaning afterward. It’s a strange kind of expensive. You don’t lose the money to bad luck. You lose it looking for something the money was never going to contain in the first place.

Line that up against Chuck standing on stage, admitting he’d once been satisfied with the income and only later went looking for purpose to attach to it, and the point sharpens. The ring is not the achievement. The ring is what a company hands you after you’ve already done the harder thing, which is stick around long enough, through a hiatus, through doubt, through a back injury bad enough to make you consider mailing it in, to let the reason catch up with the result.

That’s the real reversal sitting underneath a segment that looks, from the outside, like a company just reading dollar amounts off a list. The list isn’t the point. The room screaming just as hard for the smallest number as the biggest one is the point. A man who almost didn’t show up standing next to people who’ve been at this for years is the point. The money is what’s left over once you’ve built something worth staying for.

The full session goes further than what’s above, including the full run of the countdown itself and the gratitude exercise that follows it before the evening’s main session begins. Watch it in full, free, when you Create your free account.

I can't think of a better way to honor the amazing job that our compliance department does keeping our backs covered in the marketing world and transitioning into an opportunity to talk about a culture that we have within Empower Network that is iconic. It's something that you won't find anywhere else. You have to change the last part. Hold on.

Andy's mic is still on, guys. So, that's right, folks. We're live. So, it is something that is immediately recognizable.

How many of you have seen a million-dollar earner's ring literally from across the room at an Empower event? It's got a disco ball quality to it. It's got a heft to it that even a man as beefy as Aaron Rashkin said he had to get used to wearing it. It's got the size.

The size of a Super Bowl ring. Because we believe that this level of accomplishment is something that warrants the biggest recognition that we can fit on your finger. Now, that's not to say that in the near future, we may not add a Sir Mix-A-Lot style ring that goes over all four fingers. So, I don't want you to think that we've stopped coming up with really amazing ways to recognize our affiliates that have achieved unbelievable, outstanding record-setting results but this is something very very special this is something that symbolizes different periods of hard work some people have done it in a year some people have done it in multiple years but this is something that is meant to be the culmination of not only financial earnings because financial earnings really in this business are a byproduct they're a byproduct of value created they're a byproduct of lives touched and transformed they're a byproduct of the success that your team experiences how many of you would agree with that you know there are a lot of ways in life that you could go out and earn a million dollars countless ways that you can earn a million dollars there are very very few ways that you can earn a million dollars that result in 18 a throng a crowd of people behind you cheering you on in gratitude for the effect that you've had on their lives that's what brings meaning to money that's what takes it to a different level of satisfaction and fulfillment how many of you understand we're talking about all right because I can certainly tell you that I know if I brought a microphone out here and I know what we talked to anyone that got money without meaning they would tell you that the money went away pretty quickly because odds are when they got the money without the meaning they spent the money to find the meaning I know that was fast if they got money without meaning odds are they spent the money to find the meaning after my shit all over yourself joke I decided to play that one back for you guys so this is something that now that you all understand what you are going to be participating in you all know that it empower network we have a culture where we believe you will be celebrated in the way that you celebrate others so that's what I expect from this room now and of course I am going to need some help on this stage to recognize the individual we're going to be bringing up and I can't do it alone and there's really only one individual that can can help me do this and find style so I'm going to go ahead and cross my fingers I'm going to hope that he has picked out and pressed the finest of tank tops and I am going to hope that he has finished his kung fu sparring for the afternoon ladies and gentlemen get out of your seats and welcome for the first time this weekend mr.

Dave what one two three there we go Dave how you doing good good you look good thanks yeah how's the how's the kung fu sparring I don't think anyone in here believes that you're actually like like is that what it looks like kind of yeah it's a secret it's amazing because you would not expect an individual that is this tall and lanky to be able to move quickly but what you didn't see is he actually punched me four times just now and you didn't even see it's literally that fast so I just like giving the office strange requests you know what I mean is my favorite thing to do so I think like what a month ago I hit up Bonnie I'm like can you fly over this kung fu master from Europe you know mm-hmm so keep me entertained and when I got the email huh and when I got the email I didn't even flinch yeah I didn't think it was a joke I didn't ask who's messing with me we just got you a kung fu master so ladies and gentlemen if you're wondering what the secret is to massive success it is Wincheng kung fu did I say that right yeah yeah all right sweet I would make a joke about it sounding like take out but I think that he could probably like fly through the screen and you know I don't know what would even happen but I'll give you the video.

without further ado I'm going to ask that we have the rings brought on stage please and if I could get some ring music ladies and gentlemen the ever attractive mr. Travis Reagan sup dude good to see you so as many of you may realize I kind of gave you a little bit of a preview earlier about who we would be recognizing this evening it's a gentleman that when he is not doubling as a male model he is one of the most powerful online marketing presences that you've ever met he also happens to be one of the nicest most compassionate sometimes even a little bit introverted guys when we bring him up here he's gonna share with you the story of how this happened and how he achieved what he did because what I have here actually is I have a ring a for Chuck Marshall and in this in this box I have a ring for his partner Christy Marshall now ladies and gentlemen again we're about to bring Chuck on to this stage I cannot say any more clearly that you will be celebrated in exactly the way and the level of enthusiasm that you celebrate others this is an accomplishment that means far more than money because it means that you can never show up at a Pardon字 countless lives that have been touched and exposed to a different way of doing business a different way of designing a life that has more meaning and that brings money alongside with it so empower network family please help me welcome to the stage mr.

Chuck Marshall this thing's things pretty big pretty heavy gosh thanks Wow this is there's really a that's a real moment for me I'm sorry I couldn't be here are you ready are you ready to go you can tell theunetwork has a lot to say right up here will you join today's wedding thca survey I truly am honored to be here and becoming a part of the team I hope." fool man I hope sent to you a hand in the audience that's unfortunate I know what happened inens. And I'm sorry I couldn't be here in Orlando, and I appreciate everybody taking the time to honor me there.

When I wasn't able to come, I was having a super horrible, like, back pain, like, disc extrusion. Like, I couldn't even get comfortable sitting, laying. And just think of the thought of, like, flying across country. I just was like, I just can't do it.

And I was like, J. Cron, can you just ship it to me? And he's like, no, you've got to come get it. So I was like, okay, I'll definitely be to the next one.

And thankfully, I did some physical therapy and seen some surgeons and stuff. I thankfully didn't actually have to do surgery, but I got over it, and I feel a lot better. And now I'm here, so. But this is, for me, this is truly, this is really an awesome thing.

I've never achieved anything like this before in any other, you know, company or any other business I've been in. I've been in this industry now for, like, about nine years or so. And I've been with Empower for, since. Since 2011 when it opened, and now it's 2015.

And I'm really happy and very proud to be here. I, you know, over the last year or so, I was kind of, I don't know, I guess you say kind of on a little, like, hiatus. And I haven't really, I was kind of trying to figure some things out in my life and things like that. But the one thing I did is I never left.

You know, I never, I kind of, I might have slowed down a little bit, but I never left. I never wanted to be anywhere else. I never, you know, wanted to. Be involved with anything else.

And it's just a real big, it's a real blessing to come here and be around everybody again. I haven't done this since, I think, the Seattle Regional. And it feels really good to be here. I mean, I appreciate coming here and getting rejuvenated and re-excited and re-motivated.

And just as much as anybody else does. Because I need that a lot for myself, too. And, gosh, you know, for me, I can't believe that. Gosh, it's.

Like I said, it's a surreal thing. I can't believe that. Yeah, it's. Gosh, you know, like when I very first started in Empower Network, I was just like, you know, a $25 thing.

I'll get in and I'll just make some money while it's here. And then it turned into this thing that got bigger and bigger. And I never came to events before, you know, guys. Like I never, I thought that was all just a bunch of crap.

Honestly, I mean, I did. And so I came to the very first one in Atlanta. I wasn't even going. Like I was in Maui.

I was in Hawaii. And we were, and Dave was like, you should come. You need to come. And I, last minute, I decided, I asked my wife, I said, can I, you know, can we leave, like, can I leave a day early?

I need to get, can I go to Atlanta? And I'm all the way, like, in Maui. And so it's like, you know, like 10 hours of flying and six-hour time change. And I hopped on a plane and I flew my family home to Portland.

And they, I stayed at the airport and caught the next flight to Atlanta. So I was like, just flew all day. I got there. And it was the coolest thing.

The coolest event that I had been to because it was, you know, the first time I experienced that. And I've been to almost every single one since except for, like, when they had regionals at the same time. And it was, like, physically impossible to be at two at once. And then previously the last one in Orlando.

But, guys, this is, like, it's really changed my life, you know, being in this company, being around these people. The friendships that I've made and, like, the people that I've met. And obviously, like, the money part is great. But that's just a byproduct of just doing something that you love to do.

You know, and being proud of what you do because there became a point where I was, like, you know, happy with the money. But then the money was, like, I wanted to find, like, my purpose. And, you know, I wanted to discover what that was. And I really like to be here to help other people.

And there's something that, like, I kind of, it was a quote that I read. I'm not going to say I made it up because I'm not that cool. And it's something I learned here, too. It's, like, guys, like, every single person in here.

You have a million dollars in your brain. You just have to figure out how to get it out of there, you know. And that's what we do here at Empowerment. We show you all the different types of ways to do that.

And you can really do whatever you want, you know. I mean, and I know things can be tough. Like, you know, I personally had excuses, you know, like, back's hurting or this, that, or the other. Or I didn't want to do a video or I haven't done this.

And I just didn't do the work I wanted to do. But I can tell you guys, like, no matter the amount of excuses, the excuses that you can come up with, the excuses are worthless. But for sure, the results are priceless. So, you know, I don't know.

Is there anything else that I'm not sure if there's anything else that I can say or do? Well, I guess at this point, all we need you to do is just show them blue steel. Show them who? Blue steel.

Oh, okay. Oh, you're talking about Zoolander look. I don't have that. I don't have that.

I don't have that. I don't have that. I thought you were talking about this, like that. Come on, he's a good looking guy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you guys, just kidding. I actually faked the whole back injury because I wanted the stage to myself. I didn't want to get it with everybody else.

No, I'm just kidding. No. This is awesome, you guys. And my wife says hi to everybody.

And she's honored to accept her ring, too. And she's at home with my two boys right now. And I'm going to give her a call as soon as I step down off the stage. So, I appreciate everybody.

Ladies and gentlemen, get up and give it up for Chuck. Okay. Don't go anywhere. Stand right by Dave.

Your wife's ring's right there. It's fine. Dude, you rock, man. Seriously, it's awesome.

I'm glad you're here. One, two, three. I'm glad that shit's better, too. That sucks.

I'm glad that shit's better, too. You know, that just sucks. So, how many of you know why I'm keeping Chuck and Dave on stage? Commissioned countdown?

So, how many of you know what time it is? It is now. And now is the time for commission countdown. So, as you can imagine, the results of the people you're about to meet are not typical.

Please see our average earnings disclaimer at EmpowerNetwork.com forward slash income. It's actually a page that I love. I think it's sexy. If I wanted to date a web page, it would be our income disclosure.

With that being said, if we could also be joined on stage by any other million-dollar ring earner, that we have in the audience. So, we're going to need a little bit of help here. I see Justin and Dee. I see Lawrence and Jessica.

Come on up, guys. I'm doing awesome. Good to see you. As you can see, their powers combined equals some really expensive jewelry.

Good seeing you, man. Good seeing you, brother. So, with that, Dave, you've got your million-dollar ring earners backing you up here. I think it's about time we took everyone through commission.

Miss Tracy Walker, you're here. Get up here. Woo! Hey, good to see you.

Get up! All right, Dave, kick it off. All right, guys. First of all, first of all, first of all, I want you to look at these guys and celebrate them.

Because remember, anybody that you celebrate for accomplishing something, what you're really celebrating is what you have the potential to do. Okay, so give these guys a hand. All right, so what we're going to do, if you guys, is there anybody in here that has never been here for a commission countdown? If you've never been here, raise your hand.

All right, this is where we celebrate the success in Empower Network. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to call up different income levels until the stage is packed with people that have earned however, whatever income we have to cut it off on until we can't bring any more people up. And then we're going to count it all the way down to who's earned a commission in the room. You guys got it?

And what I want you to do is I want you to ferociously yell and scream for every income level, even the lowest of the low, the highest of the high. Never slow it down. Just get pumped up because what we're really about is empowering you to make the money that you've always wanted to make. Does that make sense?

All right, so first of all, do we have anybody in here that's earned over $900,000? Under a million? Over $900,000? I actually don't know.

Anybody? I'm just going to keep going down if nobody is walking up. Over $800,000? Under a million?

All right. Alex and Anna Zubrev, give them a hand. Celebrate, come on, folks, come on. Come on, celebrate.

You guys over $800,000? Million-dollar ring earners this year. Give them a hand, come on, $800,000. Okay.

Over $700,000, Michelangelo and Lina Lopez, Paul, Toby, Mr. Mike Hobbs. Dude, you got to wear that costume. Hey, great to see you.

Good to see you, brother. Appreciate you. Toby, dude, you're over $700,000? Mike Hobbs, give them a hand.

Give these guys a hand. Come on, celebrate. Okay. If you're in the room and you've made over $600,000, Kevin and Melissa Kinect, Nicole Cooper.

That's actually over $600,000. It's $500,000 now. $500,000. Over a hundred.

Over a half million. Come up. You guys are awesome. I love you, Harry Potter.

I never get sick of this. Look how many people we've already got. This is like a normal MLM company with like 15,000 people in the room already. Over 400,000.

Come on up. Yeah, yeah. Frigging rock stars, man. Thank you.

Any more? Any more? Okay. $250,000 or more.

Come on up on the stage. Mr. Robert Probst, come on. Dude.

Killing it. You're killing it, dude. Dude, come on, man. Over $100,000 in commissions.

Come on up. Over $100,000. $100,000. Congratulations.

Good to see you. Dude, good, man. Celebrate these guys. Come on.

Hey. Good to see you. Come on up, everybody. Come on, man.

Well done. Hey. $75,000. Any more?

$75,000. Any more? Going once. Going twice.

Hey. Hey. All right, boys. $50,000.

Anyone over $50,000? $75,000. Give these guys $50,000. $50,000.

$50,000. $50,000. $50,000. $50,000.

$50,000. Give these folks a hand. Come on. Good to see you, man.

$50,000. Come on up. Hey. What's up, man?

Thank you. Thank you. Huh? This thing?

Yeah. Yeah. $50,000. Give it up.

Going faster. $25,000. $25,000. Yeah.

I'm doing awesome. Get up here. Hey. Good to see you, too.

Fast hugs. Fast hugs. $25,000. $25,000.

Dude. Rocking, brother. I know. It's like rapid mode.

Hey. Hugs, man. Hugs, brother. It's hugs.

What we're doing is about people. What we're doing is providing meaning to earn the money. You know, as all of you know, these results are not typical, but they sure as hell are impressive. And what this means is that everybody out here right now, you've got 90 days until our next event to make sure that you're right here, to make sure that we have the opportunity to hand you a microphone and hear your story, speaking in victory.

Who's ready for that? One, two, three. All right. So with that, ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take a brief, brief five-minute break here to clear the stage.

As you can imagine, we only have two very small staircases and an insanely large amount of people up here, which is the best problem on the planet to have. So make sure that you're ready for that. And we're going to take a short five-minute break here to clear the stage. So make sure that you go to the bathroom, make sure you stretch a little bit, but make sure your butt is back in your seats in five minutes, because we're going to be bringing up Mr.

David Wood for his evening plans with you. How many of you are excited about that? We will see you in five minutes. One, two, three.

So who in here is ready? For the evening festivities. Now, full disclaimer, as you all saw a little bit earlier tonight, Dave Wood on occasion will use language intended for mature audiences only. So full disclosure, that may be happening.

Please see our average Dave Wood language disclaimer at empowernetwork.com forward slash Dave Wood's language. But more importantly, I want to go back to literally 120 seconds ago, a room this size with that many people on stage. I want that indelibly imprinted in your memory. That doesn't happen.

That's not normal. In our disclaimer language, that's not typical. And the reason is because our family of affiliates isn't typical. Our family of affiliates is special.

That's why we can take a room like this and pack a stage like this. This is a big, big stage, big stage. It doesn't look as big because I've slimmed down. But that being said, we also have a special surprise for you this evening.

This is a treat for me to be bringing this to you, because it's an opportunity to prime you, to be your own the next generation of this special one. So let's begin. And what are we writing here for you today? I want this to wrap it up, and it's deliberate Christie, because it's a bundle, I'm buying this out here, you've here all the books I've got carrot now.

The pimp, produced that you and I, they all came out and relief, back and paid off andham, put them into the middle of the library. While there are savings out there. I'm beyond a hundred bucks for everyone who offersuna p improve a be in the mindset and prepare yourself for what Dave is going to be sharing with you tonight and what's even more amazing is we have going to bring up but I don't know if any of you have ever been through this process that she's going to be taking you through before the whole reason that she has volunteered to come up and walk you through this process is because it's going to lay the foundation to ensure that when Dave Wood finishes this evening you have received everything he's given you you've got it in a format that you can put it to work in your business immediately and you're at a place mentally where you can execute it with effortless confidence how many of you would like that well I will tell you it's gonna be amazing and the lovely young lady that I'm going to be bringing up is someone that again I've gotten to know over my 14-month tenure here with empower network she really has challenged my thinking in some very profound ways as it relates to health and as it relates to abundance and as it relates to creating a business that is so fully integrated with who you are that literally nobody can tell whether you're working or playing that it's a business that literally is fully integrated as a lifestyle how many of you have ever heard the quote before by the Master that the Master makes little difference between his work and play his labor and his leisure his love and his hobby he just pursues his vision of excellence because to the rest of the world he's always doing all of it now that was a paraphrase Laura Parrish probably knows the exact quote because she's smarter than me but that being said you are going to be taken through an exercise that is foundational to the business that this unbelievable entrepreneur has built it's going to be exciting I'm going to remind you that all of you are fully engaged right who's fully engaged excellent so without further ado I'm going to ask all of you to get up out of your seats and truly be ready for setting your intentions for what is going to happen this evening let's do a quick energy check here one two three one two three one two three and you know what now you're ready Empower Network family please help me welcome to the stage the always unbelievable Deva Rangia Wow thank you we're gonna do a very quick exercise as he said to help prime you for Dave Wood I'm very excited about this because as you know Dave was the man who literally saved my husband's life from a waterfall from drowning and that's life changing so go ahead and that we're all on the same page yes yes you doing this so yeah just everyone find a seat quickly please let's close our eyes close your eyes and take a deep breath in when we breathe we breathe from our stomach so your shoulders should not rise your stomach should inflate and deflate another deep breath in I want you to take a moment to appreciate the level of energy in this room right now take for and who am i becoming take a few minutes to do that and have fun thank you as you think about who you will become and what you are thankful and grateful for remind yourself that you already have everything that you need to be the person that you want to become the goals that you are writing on the paper now you already have everything that you need in order to accomplish it man that i'm about to introduce you all know him very well very well and before i introduce him i want to know just by a show of hands how many of you thought about something else that you not usually think about that you're grateful or thankful for show of hands without further ado it is my honor it is my pleasure to stand on this stage and walk you guys through this exercise so thank you for allowing me to do that thank you jonathan and now i would love to welcome jonathan back to the stage i know he's just going to appear he may just fall down from the ceiling i don't know and he'll introduce our next speaker great job everybody give it up for d all right how many of you after having d walk you through that can literally feel the difference that when you go through something like that that is designed to help you clarify intentions designed to help you focus designed to literally change your physiology, it's a profound experience.

That it's something that so often we overlook it. That a lot of people talk about today that we literally have not sleep apnea, but screen apnea. That it's actually something that we, as a result of reading screens, forget to breathe. We don't breathe nearly as deeply or nearly as often as we should.

And the gentleman that I'm going to be introducing in a moment has far too much to give you to have him come up here without everyone in a prepared, focused, and as zen-like a state as possible. Because what I do know is when Dave does get up here, you're probably not going to stay zen very long. Dave has an innate ability to inspire, to enthrall, to entertain. To challenge every status quo that you can possibly imagine and some you weren't even aware of.

Dave is a guy that literally lives his life with such intent and purpose that so much of what he does is unconscious. And the process of bringing that to a conscious level that we can benefit from and implement is what he literally swears. Sweats, bleeds, and pours out over each of these evening sessions. I wish you could see Dave when he's in the lab.

And man, is it messy. There's books everywhere, paperwork everywhere. Not to mention the fact that he literally will take a two-hour presentation and memorize every moment. Memorize it.

It's unbelievable to watch the man work. So what I'm hoping that all of you are very clear on right now is your intentions. Because we're about to move into a season in our evening that intentions are going to define exactly what you get out of this time with Dave. Your intentions, the clarity in which you communicate them, and the focus in which you have to achieve them, will literally determine your experience, your life, and your life.

And that's what we're going to talk about tonight. How many of you understand the power of intentions? Excellent. To ensure that we're all on the same page, if I could get a couple of microphones with my cast members, I'd like to hear from two people about the intentions that you have for right now.

That after going through what Dee brought you through, which I was actually in the back of the room, which is why you're seeing me as relaxed as I am. I know. I'm not dancing. I'm not jumping.

I'm just pumped. I'm just internally excited. But I want to hear what intentions you're setting for this evening. And you are already raising your hand, so how could I not call on you?

If we could please bring a microphone right up here to this lovely young lady. We're going to be hearing from two individuals. And remember, this is specifically about the intentions that you have for literally this evening, literally this time. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You know, since they have so graciously given me the microphone, why don't you come up here and join me?

Welcome to the stage. This is part of my intention. No way. Outstanding.

What's your name? Where are you from? I know. It's crazy.

It is. You really are great looking under these lights, right? I know. I love it.

I love it. My name is Sherry Parego, and I am from Manchester, Connecticut. I am. I'm only three weeks into the Empower Network.

Welcome to the family. I am also all in. Yeah. I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing, but I'm brand new to online marketing.

I am so excited to just do what it is expected, OK? So for me to just get through there. Has everyone noticed, by the way, I've got a book open to my . Just for those of you that might want to get up here, I just want to give you a hint.

So tell us about your intentions. What intentions did you set? So what Dee said, you're phenomenal, OK? What am I thankful for?

Number one, I'm thankful for God. He has blessed me for being here. All right? It was the hard road to get here, but I am here.

I am grateful. I'm so glad I'm here. She asked, what am I grateful for? I'm grateful for being all I can be.

I don't know if I can be all I can be, but I'm going to be all I can be. Well, I can tell you, you're about to hear from somebody that will make sure you are all you can be. And Dave's my mentor, so I can't wait to meet him in person. And if I can get a picture with him before you, that'd be even better.

You know? Oh, my goodness. Hey, I'm on stage now. You just ran out of a microphone, and they just take it.

All right, so tell me one more intention that you have for this evening. The other question was, who am I becoming? I am becoming free. What Aaron had mentioned, the freedom, I am becoming free.

That's my intentions. Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome her to the family. Let's see this here. All right.

So. I still have a mission. I still have a microphone. And I need one more person.

You're standing. Okay, come on. Come on. One of these days, I'm going to learn to dance.

I really am. Like, I can only imagine how awkward this must look. You can jump? I use the stairs.

You're intense. Here's your mic. What's your name? Where are you from?

My name is Francis Carter from the Windy City, Chicago. Francis from Chicago. Welcome. Hi.

First time at an event. Man, that's a lot of people out there, man. I know. It's a lot easier when I ask you when you're down there, huh?

Yeah, I don't see how y'all do this. I'm like, oh, gee. Let me give you a hint. If you ever get nervous or you feel like they're looking at you, just know that they're afraid to be up here.

That's not actually true. here as well because we're a family. You can literally come up here and you can do whatever you want. Do you dance?

I dance. Sure. I dance. And ironically, as well as dancing, I'm also searching for a new AV crew.

Any referrals, let me know. So what I want you to do is I want you to just imagine that it's just you and me up here. So, tell me what your intentions are for this evening. All right, well, I'm gonna basically go off of the reading of the questions.

Sorry. I'll hold this, you find those. Okay. All right, hold the mic nice and close, there we go.

Well, basically, she asked what I was grateful for and for me personally, I'm grateful for my family. I have my wife and one of my children here. Basically, I have six kids and five grandkids. So, I couldn't bring everybody here, but I have a…

You know what that adds up to, 11. Right, what I said, I didn't beat her, but I'm halfway there. That's all right, man, you got time. So, what am I thankful for is my life and ability to have my mind to be able to control what I want and focus on what I wanna do with my life.

So, it took me some challenges to get here, but I made it here. And my intentions continuing with what I'm becoming is I'm becoming abundant, having more than enough to share with others and inspire and change others. And I appreciate the opportunity to be here and thanks everyone for listening to what I have to say. Is this your first time on stage?

Is this your first time on stage? Yeah. Well, you know what? Ladies and gentlemen, it's his first time on stage.

Get up and let's make sure he feels welcome. You good? All right, now what I'm gonna ask you to do, I'm just gonna ask you to say one, two, three, they'll know what to do. All right, let's do it together.

One, two, three. Yeah! Rock on, Francis, thank you. Stairs right there, brother.

How many of you guys always wanted to do that thing in the music video where they like lean? Like, am I the only person that watched Moonwalker over and over again, practicing that lean? Which is exactly what happened. Never mastered it.

And then you grow up and you find out like, oh, it's special shoes or cables or whatever. And like it destroyed it. Cause I was like, I want the magic. I always wanted to dance like Michael.

My wife makes fun of me about it constantly, constantly. So what I'd like to go ahead and do is share with you the intentions, that these people have in common. You're hearing gratitude for family. You're hearing gratitude for faith.

You're hearing gratitude for the opportunity to pursue life differently. Beginning any process from a place of gratitude all but guarantees the fact that your results will be better. How many of you have started a process in gratitude and been amazed at the results? And on the flip side, how many of you have started from a place of scarcity, or boredom or frustration?

And been surprised that it may not have gone well? I know I have. And the other thing that I love more than anything about Empower Network is the fact that we can bring anybody up here. And that the room goes nuts.

That you guys don't care if it's a million dollar ring earner or someone who's only been here for three weeks and overcame whatever obstacle they've faced. odds he overcame to be here on this stage. You guys go nuts just the same way. So thank you for that.

That's right. So I know you're all ready for Dave, and I know that Dave is likely about ready for us. I can see they're beginning to bring up all of the accoutrements that Mr. Wood requires to do his thing, and don't worry, they are going to prompt me when Dave is ready.

I believe Mooney is Wood ready? You see, I shared with you that Wood's worked really, really hard on what he's going to be doing for you this evening, and part of being able to memorize everything he does is practice. So right now, he is literally back there reviewing a mammoth outline and ensuring that he has it memorized, because if there's one thing Dave is committed to doing, it is bringing you his best at every turn. How many of you would agree with that?

I know I certainly would, because I have yet to see Dave Wood bring anything but all-in. I mean all-in in the commitment he has to this organization. I mean all-in in the commitment that he has to his family, both in Costa Rica and here at Empower Network. I mean all-in in the work that he does on himself.

Dave Wood works just like us. He 70 percent thinks that he's able to do anything for the during the presentation. It's been a while that he's trying to convince me to put that to my side, but I'm a full, full commitment today. All right.

Now we are at the end, we are in the 40 and 40. So here is my weekend briefing, all right? We have one community meeting going on. We have height about 40 minutes to switch away because it is not a weekend, it is visiting us on the show.

I'm going to sit down after the awards works harder on himself than any human being I've ever met for him personal development and the constant study of being able to improve is not a byline it's not a half-hearted commitment it's a process that he lives every waking moment of every day and in getting to know him over the last year I continue to be amazed and pleasantly surprised at the level of insight at the level of uniqueness and at the level of I can only call alien intuition that Dave has and it really has been a pleasure to continue to work to bring his vision for what this industry needs his vision for what this company can accomplish and his vision for the change that he wants to see in each of your lives to becoming a reality and these events where we actually get to see that change made real we get to see the stage full of people that now believe they can do it we get to see the stage full of people that have completely changed their financial trajectory in powerful ways we get to see the stage filled with people that came here probably didn't even know how they got here or why they came but less than a day into it they already know they're at the right place with the people at the right time how many of you can agree with that so let me share with you what's going to be coming tonight Dave is going to be coming out and Dave is going to be talking to you about a personal revolution Dave is going to be talking to you about what we at empower network are going to be doing to support your personal revolution Dave is also going to be sharing some times in his life some that you've probably never actually heard about where personal revolution took place for him how many of you know enough about Dave's story that or have been with us long enough that you're beginning to be able to chart the points at which shifts in him have happened how many of you can see that it's interesting because being able to watch and chart that shows you what a personal revolution can mean because it truly is something that if you begin at a point and a revolution takes place even if it's only slightly when you begin to fast-forward that revolution off into the future before you know it you are in a completely different plane of existence even with one degree to the left or to the right nothing is the same you guys set your intentions tonight we're coming from a place of gratitude we've taken a lot of really deep breaths to ensure that our brains are appropriately oxygenated we are ready to make sure that everyone leaves this room tonight with everything you need for a personal revolution to take place

So, I don't want you to think that we've stopped coming up with really amazing ways to recognize our affiliates that have achieved unbelievable, outstanding record-setting results, but this is something very special. This is something that symbolizes different periods of hard work. Some people have done it in a year, some people have done it in multiple years, but this is something that is meant to be the culmination of not only financial earnings, because financial earnings really in this business are a byproduct. They're a byproduct of value created. They're a byproduct of lives touched and transformed. They're a byproduct of the success that your team experiences. How many of you would agree with that?

You know there are a lot of ways in life that you could go out and earn a million dollars. Countless ways that you can earn a million dollars. There are very few ways that you can earn a million dollars that result in a throng, a crowd of people behind you cheering you on in gratitude for the effect that you've had on their lives. That's what brings meaning to money. That's what takes it to a different level of satisfaction and fulfillment. How many of you understand what we're talking about?

Because I can certainly tell you that I know if I brought a microphone out here, and I know if we talked to anyone that got money without meaning, they would tell you that the money went away pretty quickly, because odds are when they got the money without the meaning, they spent the money to find the meaning. I know that was fast. If they got money without meaning, odds are they spent the money to find the meaning. After my "shit all over yourself" joke, I decided to play that one back for you guys.

So this is something that, now that you all understand what you are going to be participating in, you all know that at Empower Network we have a culture where we believe you will be celebrated in the way that you celebrate others. So that's what I expect from this room now. And of course I am going to need some help on this stage to recognize the individual we're going to be bringing up, and I can't do it alone, and there's really only one individual that can help me do this in fine style. So I'm going to go ahead and cross my fingers. I'm going to hope that he has picked out and pressed the finest of tank tops, and I am going to hope that he has finished his kung fu sparring for the afternoon. Ladies and gentlemen, get out of your seats and welcome, for the first time this weekend, Mr. Dave. One, two, three, there we go. Dave, how you doing?

Good, you look good. Thanks. Yeah. How's the kung fu sparring? I don't think anyone in here believes that you're actually doing that. Is that what it looks like? Kind of, yeah, it's a secret.

It's amazing because you would not expect an individual that is this tall and lanky to be able to move quickly, but what you didn't see is he actually punched me four times just now and you didn't even see it. It's literally that fast. So I just like giving the office strange requests. You know what I mean, is my favorite thing to do. So I think like a month ago I hit up Bonnie. I'm like, can you fly over this kung fu master from Europe, you know, to keep me entertained. And when I got the email, huh, when I got the email I didn't even flinch. Yeah, I didn't think it was a joke. I didn't ask, who's messing with me. We just got you a kung fu master.

So ladies and gentlemen, if you're wondering what the secret is to massive success, it is Wing Chun kung fu. Did I say that right? Yeah, all right, sweet. I would make a joke about it sounding like takeout, but I think that he could probably fly through the screen and, you know, I don't know what would even happen, but I'll give you the video. Without further ado, I'm going to ask that we have the rings brought on stage please, and if I could get some ring music. Ladies and gentlemen, the ever attractive Mr. Travis Reagan.

Sup dude, good to see you. So as many of you may realize, I kind of gave you a little bit of a preview earlier about who we would be recognizing this evening. It's a gentleman that, when he is not doubling as a male model, he is one of the most powerful online marketing presences that you've ever met. He also happens to be one of the nicest, most compassionate, sometimes even a little bit introverted guys. When we bring him up here, he's gonna share with you the story of how this happened and how he achieved what he did, because what I have here actually is a ring for Chuck Marshall, and in this box I have a ring for his partner Christy Marshall. Now ladies and gentlemen, again, we're about to bring Chuck onto this stage. I cannot say any more clearly that you will be celebrated in exactly the way and the level of enthusiasm that you celebrate others. This is an accomplishment that means far more than money, because it means that you've touched countless lives that have been exposed to a different way of doing business, a different way of designing a life that has more meaning and that brings money alongside with it. So, Empower Network family, please help me welcome to the stage Mr. Chuck Marshall.

This thing's pretty big, pretty heavy. Gosh, thanks. Wow, this is, there's really a, that's a real moment for me. I'm sorry I couldn't be here. Are you ready? Are you ready to go? I truly am honored to be here and becoming a part of the team. I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else in the audience. That's unfortunate. I know what happened.

And I'm sorry I couldn't be here in Orlando, and I appreciate everybody taking the time to honor me there. When I wasn't able to come, I was having a super horrible, like, back pain, like a disc extrusion. I couldn't even get comfortable sitting or laying. And just think of the thought of flying across country. I just was like, I just can't do it.

And I was like, J. Cron, can you just ship it to me? And he's like, no, you've got to come get it. So I was like, okay, I'll definitely be to the next one. And thankfully I did some physical therapy and saw some surgeons and stuff.

I thankfully didn't actually have to do surgery, but I got over it, and I feel a lot better. And now I'm here, so, but this is, for me, this is truly, this is really an awesome thing. I've never achieved anything like this before in any other, you know, company or any other business I've been in. I've been in this industry now for, like, about nine years or so.

And I've been with Empower since 2011 when it opened, and now it's 2015. And I'm really happy and very proud to be here. Over the last year or so, I was kind of, I don't know, I guess you'd say kind of on a little hiatus. And I haven't really, I was kind of trying to figure some things out in my life and things like that.

But the one thing I did is I never left. You know, I might have slowed down a little bit, but I never left. I never wanted to be anywhere else. I never wanted to be involved with anything else.

And it's just a real big, it's a real blessing to come here and be around everybody again. I haven't done this since, I think, the Seattle Regional. And it feels really good to be here. I mean, I appreciate coming here and getting rejuvenated and re-excited and re-motivated, just as much as anybody else does.

Because I need that a lot for myself, too. And, gosh, you know, for me, I can't believe that. It's, like I said, it's a surreal thing. I can't believe that.

Yeah, it's, gosh, you know, like when I very first started in Empower Network, I was just like, you know, a $25 thing.

I was in Maui.

I was in Hawaii. And Dave was like, you should come, you need to come. And, last minute, I decided, I asked my wife, I said, can we leave a day early? I need to get, can I go to Atlanta?

And I'm all the way in Maui. And so it's like, you know, 10 hours of flying and a six-hour time change. And I hopped on a plane and I flew my family home to Portland. And I stayed at the airport and caught the next flight to Atlanta. So I just flew all day.

I got there, and it was the coolest thing, the coolest event that I had been to, because it was, you know, the first time I experienced that. And I've been to almost every single one since, except for, like, when they had regionals at the same time, and it was physically impossible to be at two at once.

And then previously the last one in Orlando. But, guys, this has really changed my life, you know, being in this company, being around these people, the friendships that I've made and the people that I've met. And obviously the money part is great, but that's just a byproduct of doing something that you love to do.

You know, and being proud of what you do, because there became a point where I was happy with the money, but then the money was, I wanted to find my purpose. And I wanted to discover what that was. And I really like to be here to help other people. And there's something, like, it was a quote that I read.

I'm not going to say I made it up because I'm not that cool, and it's something I learned here, too. It's, like, guys, every single person in here, you have a million dollars in your brain. You just have to figure out how to get it out of there, you know.

And that's what we do here at Empower. We show you all the different types of ways to do that. And you can really do whatever you want, you know. I mean, and I know things can be tough. Like, I personally had excuses, you know, like, my back's hurting or this, that, or the other.

Or I didn't want to do a video, or I haven't done this. And I just didn't do the work I wanted to do. But I can tell you guys, no matter the amount of excuses, the excuses that you can come up with, the excuses are worthless. But the results are priceless. So, you know, I don't know.

Is there anything else that I can say or do? Well, I guess at this point, all we need you to do is just show them blue steel. Show them who? Blue steel. Oh, okay.

Oh, you're talking about the Zoolander look. I don't have that. I thought you were talking about this, like that. Come on, he's a good looking guy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you guys, just kidding. I actually faked the whole back injury because I wanted the stage to myself. I didn't want to share it with everybody else. No, I'm just kidding.

No, this is awesome, you guys. And my wife says hi to everybody, and she's honored to accept her ring, too. And she's at home with my two boys right now.

And I'm going to give her a call as soon as I step down off the stage. So, I appreciate everybody. Ladies and gentlemen, get up and give it up for Chuck. Okay. Don't go anywhere.

Stand right by Dave, your wife's ring's right there, it's fine.

Commission countdown? So, how many of you know what time it is? It is now.

And now is the time for commission countdown. So, as you can imagine, the results of the people you're about to meet are not typical. Please see our average earnings disclaimer at EmpowerNetwork.com forward slash income. It's actually a page that I love. I think it's sexy.

If I wanted to date a web page, it would be our income disclosure. With that being said, if we could also be joined on stage by any other million-dollar ring earner that we have in the audience. So, we're going to need a little bit of help here. I see Justin and Dee. I see Lawrence and Jessica.

Come on up, guys. I'm doing awesome. Good to see you. As you can see, their powers combined equal some really expensive jewelry. Good seeing you, man.

Good seeing you, brother. So, with that, Dave, you've got your million-dollar ring earners backing you up here. I think it's about time we took everyone through commission countdown. Miss Tracy Walker, you're here, get up here.

Woo! Hey, good to see you. Get up! All right, Dave, kick it off. All right, guys.

First of all, I want you to look at these guys and celebrate them, because remember, anybody that you celebrate for accomplishing something, what you're really celebrating is what you have the potential to do. Okay, so give these guys a hand. All right, so what we're going to do, is there anybody in here that has never been here for a commission countdown? If you've never been here, raise your hand.

All right, this is where we celebrate the success in Empower Network. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to call up different income levels until the stage is packed with people that have earned however much income, whatever we have to cut it off on, until we can't bring any more people up. And then we're going to count it all the way down to who's earned a commission in the room. You guys got it? And what I want you to do is I want you to ferociously yell and scream for every income level, even the lowest of the low, the highest of the high.

Never slow it down. Just get pumped up, because what we're really about is empowering you to make the money that you've always wanted to make. Does that make sense? Under a million? Over $900,000?

I actually don't know. Anybody? I'm just going to keep going down if nobody is walking up. Over $800,000? Under a million?

All right, Alex and Anna Zubrev, give them a hand. Celebrate, come on, folks, come on. Come on, celebrate. You guys over $800,000?

Million-dollar ring earners this year, give them a hand, come on, $800,000. Okay, over $700,000, Michelangelo and Lina Lopez, Paul, Toby, Mr. Mike Hobbs.

Dude, you got to wear that costume. Hey, great to see you. Good to see you, brother. Appreciate you. Toby, dude, you're over $700,000?

Mike Hobbs, give them a hand. Give these guys a hand. Come on, celebrate. Okay, that's actually over $600,000.

It's $500,000 now. $500,000. Over a hundred. Over a half million. Come up.

You guys are awesome, I love you. I never get sick of this. Look how many people we've already got. This is like a normal MLM company with, like, 15,000 people in the room already.

Over $400,000. Come on up. Yeah, yeah. Frigging rock stars, man. Thank you.

Any more? Any more? Okay. $250,000 or more. Come on up on the stage.

Mr. Robert Probst, come on. Dude, killing it. You're killing it, dude.

Dude, come on, man. Over $100,000 in commissions. Come on up. Over $100,000. $100,000.

I'm gonna have to go back up here. Well, just keep giving it high fives now, faster, doing good, doing good. One, two, three. Good to see you guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, where else can you see a stage this big, a room with people that have made it happen, here at Empower Network? That is the only place you will find it. The only place we're gonna need bigger stages. How many of you are ready to be on stage at the next event? I think it's about capacity. Give it up for a great man. How you doing, bro? Come on, man, hug. One, two, three.

Powerful.

All right, so with that, ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take a brief, brief five-minute break here to clear the stage. As you can imagine, we only have two very small staircases and an insanely large amount of people up here, which is the best problem on the planet to have.

So make sure that you're ready for that, and we're going to take a short five-minute break here to clear the stage.

So who in here is ready for the evening festivities?

This is a big stage. It doesn't look as big because I've slimmed down. But that being said, we also have a special surprise for you this evening. This is a treat for me to be bringing this to you, because it's an opportunity to prime you to be the next generation. So let's begin.

What we're preparing here for you today is deliberate, so that you'll be in the mindset and prepare yourself for what Dave is going to be sharing with you tonight. And what's even more amazing is we have someone who is unbelievably powerful that is going to walk you through this brief preparation before we bring Dave Wood up here. Now, many of you know this unbelievably powerful entrepreneur that I'm going to bring up, but I don't know if any of you have ever been through this process that she's going to be taking you through. The whole reason that she has volunteered to come up and walk you through this process is because it's going to lay the foundation to ensure that when Dave Wood finishes this evening, you have received everything he's given you, and you've got it in a format that you can put it to work in your business immediately, and you're at a place mentally where you can execute it with effortless confidence. How many of you would like that?

Well, I will tell you it's gonna be amazing, and the lovely young lady that I'm going to be bringing up is someone that, again, I've gotten to know over my 14-month tenure here with Empower Network. She really has challenged my thinking in some very profound ways as it relates to health, and as it relates to abundance, and as it relates to creating a business that is so fully integrated with who you are that literally nobody can tell whether you're working or playing, that it's a business that literally is fully integrated as a lifestyle. How many of you have ever heard the quote before, by the Master, that the Master makes little difference between his work and play, his labor and his leisure, his love and his hobby, he just pursues his vision of excellence, because to the rest of the world he's always doing all of it? Now, that was a paraphrase, Laura Parrish probably knows the exact quote because she's smarter than me. But that being said, you are going to be taken through an exercise that is foundational to the business that this unbelievable entrepreneur has built. It's going to be exciting. I'm going to remind you that all of you are fully engaged. Right? Who's fully engaged? Excellent. So, without further ado, I'm going to ask all of you to get up out of your seats and truly be ready for setting your intentions for what is going to happen this evening. Let's do a quick energy check here. One, two, three. And you know what, now you're ready. Empower Network family, please help me welcome to the stage the always unbelievable Deva Rangia.

Wow, thank you. We're gonna do a very quick exercise, as he said, to help prime you for Dave Wood. I'm very excited about this, because as you know, Dave was the man who literally saved my husband's life from drowning in a waterfall, and that's life changing. So go ahead and have a seat if it's possible. I don't know if your notebook is literally attached to your hand and your pen is glued to your fingers, but if it's not, then put it beneath your seats please, your cell phone devices too. Throw them at the guy with the furry hat, no, I'm just kidding.

Okay, and I really want the room to be ready for this, so I'm going to ask that, if you're in the back of the room wearing a sexy black coat, that you find a chair, have a seat, even y'all who are standing there with your hands in your pockets just looking around, because it's really important that we're all on the same page. Yes, you, doing this too. So yeah, just everyone find a seat quickly, please.

Let's close our eyes. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. When we breathe, we breathe from our stomach, so your shoulders should not rise, your stomach should inflate and deflate. Another deep breath in. I want you to take a moment to appreciate the level of energy in this room right now. Take a moment to really embrace where you are, the people that you're around, taking in all the abundance and love, hope, excitement, learning, mindfulness, friendship, laughter, joy, spirit and soul. Taking these things that will start a revolution. You will no longer see obstacles. You will no longer see challenges or mistakes or failures. You will see opportunities. You will see opportunities to become more of who you truly are.

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to help walk you through this, and thank yourself for making the commitment to be here this weekend, and for showing up and playing full-out. Smile at yourself, laugh with yourself, be grateful for everything you have, and be excited about everything you will become. In a moment I will ask you to open your eyes. I will ask you to take out your notebooks and a pen, or your phone or tablets, whatever you are anchored to, and write these things down: what am I grateful for, what am I thankful for, and who am I becoming? What am I grateful for, what am I thankful for, and who am I becoming? Now bring up the lights slowly please, keep the music going, and let's write these answers to these questions. What am I grateful for, what am I thankful for, and who am I becoming? Take a few minutes to do that, and have fun.

Thank you. As you think about who you will become, and what you are thankful and grateful for, remind yourself that you already have everything that you need to be the person that you want to become. The goals that you are writing on the paper now, you already have everything that you need in order to accomplish it. The man that I'm about to introduce, you all know him very well, very well, and before I introduce him, I want to know, just by a show of hands, how many of you thought about something that you don't usually think about that you're grateful or thankful for? Show of hands.

Without further ado, it is my honor, it is my pleasure to stand on this stage and walk you guys through this exercise, so thank you for allowing me to do that. Thank you, Jonathan. And now I would love to welcome Jonathan back to the stage. I know he's just going to appear, he may just fall down from the ceiling, I don't know, and he'll introduce our next speaker. Great job everybody, give it up for D.

All right, how many of you, after having D walk you through that, can literally feel the difference? That when you go through something like that, it's designed to help you clarify intentions, designed to help you focus, designed to literally change your physiology. It's a profound experience.

It's something that so often we overlook. A lot of people talk about today that we literally have not sleep apnea, but screen apnea, that as a result of reading screens we forget to breathe.

Dave has an innate ability to inspire, to enthrall, to entertain, to challenge every status quo that you can possibly imagine and some you weren't even aware of. Dave is a guy that literally lives his life with such intent and purpose that so much of what he does is unconscious. And the process of bringing that to a conscious level that we can benefit from and implement is what he literally sweats, bleeds, and pours out over each of these evening sessions.

I wish you could see Dave when he's in the lab, and man, is it messy. There's books everywhere, paperwork everywhere. Not to mention the fact that he literally will take a two-hour presentation and memorize every moment. Memorize it. It's unbelievable to watch the man work.

So what I'm hoping that all of you are very clear on right now is your intentions, because we're about to move into a season in our evening where intentions are going to define exactly what you get out of this time with Dave. Your intentions, the clarity in which you communicate them, and the focus in which you have to achieve them, will literally determine your experience, your life.

And that's what we're going to talk about tonight. How many of you understand the power of intentions? Excellent. To ensure that we're all on the same page, if I could get a couple of microphones with my cast members, I'd like to hear from two people about the intentions that you have for right now, after going through what D brought you through, which I was actually in the back of the room for, which is why you're seeing me as relaxed as I am.

I know, I'm not dancing, I'm not jumping.

Thank you.

I am only three weeks into Empower Network. Welcome to the family.

I am also all in. I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing, but I'm brand new to online marketing. I am so excited to just do what it is expected, okay? So for me to just get through there.

Has everyone noticed, by the way, I've got a book open? Just for those of you that might want to get up here, I just want to give you a hint. So tell us about your intentions. What intentions did you set? So what D said, you're phenomenal, okay?

What am I thankful for? Number one, I'm thankful for God. He has blessed me for being here, all right? It was a hard road to get here, but I am here.

And if I can get a picture with him before you leave, that'd be even better, you know? Oh, my goodness.

Hey, I'm on stage now, you just ran out of a microphone and they just take it. All right, so tell me one more intention that you have for this evening. The other question was, who am I becoming? I am becoming free.

What Aaron had mentioned, the freedom, I am becoming free. That's my intentions. Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome her to the family. Let's see this here. All right.

So, I still have a mission, I still have a microphone, and I need one more person. You're standing.

Okay, come on, come on. One of these days I'm going to learn to dance, I really am. Like, I can only imagine how awkward this must look.

You can jump? I use the stairs. You're intense. Here's your mic. What's your name?

Where are you from? My name is Francis Carter from the Windy City, Chicago. Francis from Chicago, welcome. Hi.

First time at an event. Man, that's a lot of people out there, man. I know. It's a lot easier when I ask you when you're down there, huh? Yeah, I don't see how y'all do this.

I'm like, oh, gee. Let me give you a hint. If you ever get nervous, or you feel like they're looking at you, just know that they're afraid to be up here. That's not actually true, here as well, because we're a family.

You can literally come up here and you can do whatever you want. Do you dance? I dance. Sure, I dance.

And ironically, as well as dancing, I'm also searching for a new AV crew. Any referrals, let me know. So what I want you to do is I want you to just imagine that it's just you and me up here. So, tell me, what are your intentions for this evening? All right, well, I'm gonna basically go off of the reading of the questions.

Sorry, I'll hold this, you find those. Okay, all right, hold the mic nice and close, there we go. Well, basically, she asked what I was grateful for, and for me personally, I'm grateful for my family.

I have my wife and one of my children here. Basically I have six kids and five grandkids, so I couldn't bring everybody here, but I have, you know what that adds up to, 11. Right, what I said, I didn't beat her, but I'm halfway there.

That's all right, man, you got time. So what am I thankful for is my life and ability to have my mind be able to control what I want and focus on what I wanna do with my life. So it took me some challenges to get here, but I made it here. And my intention continuing with what I'm becoming is I'm becoming abundant, having more than enough to share with others and inspire and change others. And I appreciate the opportunity to be here, and thanks everyone for listening to what I have to say.

How many of you guys always wanted to do that thing in the music video where they lean? Like, am I the only person that watched Moonwalker over and over again, practicing that lean?

Which is exactly what happened. Never mastered it. And then you grow up and you find out, like, oh, it's special shoes or cables or whatever, and it destroyed it, 'cause I was like, I want the magic.

I always wanted to dance like Michael. My wife makes fun of me about it constantly. So what I'd like to go ahead and do is share with you the intentions that these people have in common.

And on the flip side, how many of you have started from a place of scarcity, or boredom, or frustration, and been surprised that it may not have gone well?

I know I have. And the other thing that I love more than anything about Empower Network is the fact that we can bring anybody up here and the room goes nuts. You guys don't care if it's a million dollar ring earner or someone who's only been here for three weeks and overcame whatever obstacle they've faced, whatever odds they overcame to be here on this stage.

I believe, is Wood ready? You see, I shared with you that Wood's worked really, really hard on what he's going to be doing for you this evening, and part of being able to memorize everything he does is practice. So right now, he is literally back there reviewing a mammoth outline and ensuring that he has it memorized, because if there's one thing Dave is committed to doing, it is bringing you his best at every turn. How many of you would agree with that?

I know I certainly would, because I have yet to see Dave Wood bring anything but all-in. I mean, all-in the commitment he has to this organization. I mean, all-in the commitment that he has to his family, both in Costa Rica and here at Empower Network. I mean, all-in the work that he does on himself. Dave Wood works just like us.

He's about 70 percent through thinking that he's able to do anything during the presentation. It's been a while that he's trying to convince me to put that to my side, but I'm a full, full commitment today. All right. Now we are at the end, we are in the 40 and 40, so here is my weekend briefing, all right?

We have one community meeting going on. We have about 40 minutes to switch away because it is not a weekend, it is visiting us on the show. I'm going to sit down after the awards.

He works harder on himself than any human being I've ever met, for his personal development and the constant study of being able to improve is not a byline, it's not a half-hearted commitment. It's a process that he lives every waking moment of every day. And in getting to know him over the last year, I continue to be amazed and pleasantly surprised at the level of insight, at the level of uniqueness, and at the level of, I can only call it, alien intuition, that Dave has. And it really has been a pleasure to continue to work to bring his vision for what this industry needs, his vision for what this company can accomplish, and his vision for the change that he wants to see in each of your lives, to becoming a reality. And these events, where we actually get to see that change made real, we get to see the stage full of people that now believe they can do it, we get to see the stage full of people that have completely changed their financial trajectory in powerful ways, we get to see the stage filled with people that came here probably didn't even know how they got here or why they came, but less than a day into it they already know they're at the right place with the right people at the right time. How many of you can agree with that?

So let me share with you what's going to be coming tonight. Dave is going to be coming out, and Dave is going to be talking to you about a personal revolution. Dave is going to be talking to you about what we at Empower Network are going to be doing to support your personal revolution. Dave is also going to be sharing some times in his life, some that you've probably never actually heard about, where personal revolution took place for him. How many of you know enough about Dave's story, or have been with us long enough, that you're beginning to be able to chart the points at which shifts in him have happened? How many of you can see that? It's interesting, because being able to watch and chart that shows you what a personal revolution can mean. Because it truly is something that, if you begin at a point, and a revolution takes place, even if it's only slightly, when you begin to fast-forward that revolution off into the future, before you know it you are in a completely different plane of existence. Even with one degree to the left or to the right, nothing is the same. You guys set your intentions tonight. We're coming from a place of gratitude. We've taken a lot of really deep breaths to ensure that our brains are appropriately oxygenated. We are ready to make sure that everyone leaves this room tonight with everything you need for a personal revolution to take place.
