And this is the second part of my Inner Circle audios. And this is the second part of the book, 13 Steps to Success, which I wrote a few years ago. And I want you to have access to all of the information you need to understand.
If you haven't yet, please listen to the first part of the book of my Inner Circle audios, because without that, you can't continue. The most important thing you can do in your life is to find your purpose, to find what it is that drives you. And then to focus on that thing, that purpose, whatever it is in your life that you want to attain. Because only by knowing what you want, can you possibly ever do those things which will get you there.
This section is how to get there. But if you don't know where you're going, what good is it if you get there or not? So it's very important to listen to the first audio, capture that purpose, know what it is you want, and then focus on that. And then you can continue with these steps.
So step four is, what are your goals? Do you have a navigation system in your car? You still carry a map? Do you use your smartphone? How do you get from one location to another?
If you don't know how to get there, how do you get from one thing to another in your life? You must have your purpose, and then you can start working on how to attain that purpose. And it's extremely important that you have the purpose, the focus in mind, and you are definite that nothing is going to steer you away from that you want, that you desire, that is worthy of your desires. So let's continue with this, setting goals. What are your goals? Now, what are goals? Once you have a purpose in mind and you know exactly what it is you want, goals are just the stair steps to get you there. If you were going to take a trip and you wanted to visit all the state parks because you have the time freedom and the money freedom, because you don't have to worry about time and money anymore once you own your own life. So let's say you're taking a trip and you want to visit all the national parks. Would you just take off down the road?
I mean, you may have complete time freedom and money freedom, but you still want to see all the national parks. It's not likely that you can head on down a road and you'll have it that you would actually be able to see them all, because you wouldn't know where they were. They're not always really obvious if you don't have a map. So if you wouldn't take off cross country on a trip like that, without knowing where you're going, why would you not have a navigator for your life? Why don't you have a GPS for your life?
Is it not far more important than a trip or a vacation? Like I said, be very clear on what it is you want out of life. And that has to be your focus. It has to be what's utmost in your mind. If you're not clear on that, go back.
Go back to the first audio. Get very clear on what it is you want out of life. And it has to be your primary focus. We talk about the law of attraction because of the secret that's become really, you know, that became really big. And then it kind of lost traction, because, oh, well, I want this and it's not coming to me.
Problem is, you think you want that, but it's not what's on your mind all the time. Until you know, and you're very clear on what it is you want, you can't attract those things. Like I said, that is the most important thing you can do in this life. Then once you know that, you can attract those things. Then these other steps are just one, two, three.
You just set goals and you attain each goal that helps you attain what it is you want. So be very clear. Otherwise, you're just going to float aimlessly around in an ocean of infinite opportunities. When you choose to set your goals, you're setting the direction of your life. You're moving in a purposeful direction with a clear understanding of the ultimate destination.
You could say one who sets their goals is a captain of the ship, the master of their destiny. I love the poem Invictus, and if you're not familiar with it, it's a great poem. It's one of the things that led me through my childhood. It led me out of my poverty. Like I stated in the first audio, my parents were dirt poor, had no education.
I lived in a country of poverty. It was as nice a neighborhood as we could manage. It wasn't like a slum building or anything. We had a very, very little house, but we had nothing.
For several years, my sister and I had to share a room, you know, which seems ludicrous these days. But back then, if there was only two bedrooms, well, everybody just slept in the same room. In fact, in the old days, everybody slept in the same bed. It wasn't any big deal. But as my sister got older, then I had to move out on the couch and sleep on the couch.
So my mom was very concerned with her having her privacy. And I understand that as a father, obviously now, and as a person, I understand that as a father, grandfather. But back then I was like, I have to sleep on the couch. Why can't she sleep on the couch?
It doesn't work that way. Anyway, I don't want to digress on that, but it's just, if it hadn't been for listening and searching for the knowledge of how to escape poverty, I would still be in that mindset. I would still be in that environment. I have no doubt, because most of the people that lived in there, in that neighborhood, they still live in that neighborhood or a similar neighborhood, which is, you know, pretty bad, but that's just the way it is.
We form habits and then habits take over our life. And so it's very important that you know what your habits are and you set your habits by the goals you set. So when you set your goals, you're setting the direction of your life. You're moving in a purposeful direction with a clear understanding of your ultimate destination.
You could say one who sets their goals is the captain of the ship. So like I was saying, the poem Invictus is something I learned very, very early in life. And the last lines are, you are the master of your fate, you are the captain of your soul. And that's so true.
Because if you have control of your life, and the things that are happening to you in this life, those actually are some of the things that we can take with us. So you own your own soul and nobody else owns it. Never allow somebody else to own your soul. So get back to goals. Do you have your goals clearly written down?
Do you have goals for all areas of your life? Because balance is essential. It's not just, oh, I want to make a lot of money. In fact, that's a horrible goal. So you have to have a spiritual side.
You have to have a physical side. You have to have a mental side. And you have to have a monetary side. And they have to all be very, very clear. And when you read your goals, do you feel inspired?
For many reasons, most people do not set goals. Some people don't know how to achieve them and therefore do not bother setting them. Or they're like New Year's resolutions. You just, well, I quit setting them because I'm never going to keep them anyway. So why even set them?
So a lot of people feel like that toward goals. They are not prepared to do the work. They are afraid of what they'll have to sacrifice. They don't believe in themselves. They don't invest the time to really think about it.
Basically, they're just lazy. Or they procrastinate. Now, you will become increasingly more creative and play an active role in the creation of your goals as we go through some exercises here. So I want you to follow along. Like I said, this isn't just an audio to listen to.
There'll be things that I will like you to do, because you only gain 10% of those things that you hear, but more like 80% of those things which you do and incorporate in your life. Napoleon Hill said, cherish your visions and your dreams, as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate accomplishments. Your visions and your dreams, they're the blueprints of your ultimate accomplishments.
When we decide on a goal, it's usually not the goal we want, it's the feeling of the goal. It's the feeling we'll get when we have achieved the goal. Ultimately, what goal setters truly strive for is a feeling, a state of being, such as happiness, peace, joy, or ecstasy.
And if your goal doesn't make you feel happy when you're thinking about it, you're never going to accomplish it anyway. So that's where we get back to your purpose, what it is you truly want in life. Because if you don't know what you want, you're going to say, I don't know what I want. You're going to set goals that aren't compatible with you.
And therefore you're not going to do them anyway. Goal setting involves making a decision about an outcome and writing it down. We could call this a dream with a deadline. That's what some people call goals. Desire is the starting point of all achievement.
That is the reason for the previous sections. Many authors put goal setting as the first step. But like I keep trying to drive into you, it's knowing your true passion and desires. Because if you don't know where you're going, you can't set goals to get there.
Your goals will not be what you truly want, and therefore you will quickly abandon them. When you set a goal, you're planting a seed. When you provide the seed with the proper nourishment and attention, the seed will grow. Everything that is required to manifest your goals is going to grow.
And that's what goal setting is all about. It's about knowing your true passion is available to you through the energy and the natural laws of the universe. Everything is there. Everything you need is there. You don't need anything else to start working, setting your goals, and accomplishing your goals.
The ability to choose is our greatest gift. We have the freedom to dream, to choose to have, be, or do anything we desire. That is our birthright, inherent within everyone. Within everyone is the ability to achieve any dream we conceive. In order for the dream to become a reality, we must believe we can achieve it.
When you set a goal, your mind behaves like a missile. Once a missile is locked on target, even if the target moves and changes direction rapidly, the missile will adjust to stay locked on the target. Similarly, when a plane is locked on autopilot, it will stay on course and automatically adjust when knocked off course. When you set your mind on a goal, even if you stray from your course, you will put yourself back on course and stay committed to the goal.
Keeping to a goal demands that you harness the power of concentration. We'll continue working on goal setting in our next section. Because now in step five, we're going to study about how to set your goals. Let's recap again. Set your purpose.
Then start working on goals to achieve that purpose. Now we're going to talk about, in step five, how to set your goals. There are basically eight steps to proper goal setting. And you may have heard some of these before. But like we've said, it's hearing and applying something over and over again.
And that's what we're going to talk about in step five. If we're going to go more in depth, I want you to create that perspective on goal setting. Someone like me, I've been maximally serious about goal setting. It can be set to be more in depth, a year, two, three, four years ago, and graded, and I've been doing that.
And I'm thinking it's really important to apply that time to the important thing. And in step five, you're going to have a goal set in your life, maybe for a month, a month and a half, or a year. That's how you think about your goal setting. Step five is to narrow down your goals.
By doing that, it will give you an idea about your goal setting in one year, two, or even 23 years from now, or 20 years from now. What is it going to take to buy that new car? Have that figure in mind. We're entrepreneurs. We don't buy things on credit.
Credit is something we get, not that we give. Turn the figures around, pay cash, do what it takes, as Robert Kiyosaki says, get that income so that you can purchase that car, purchase that house. You may not purchase the house outright with cash, but any toys, cars, boats, those things are toys. I know it's transportation, get from A to B, but I can get from A to B in a Honda Civic as well as I can a Ferrari.
I may not feel as good about it, but I can get from A to B. So if what you can afford is a new Hyundai, or if you have that goal to actually get that Tesla, or you get that Corvette, then have that in mind and then go pay cash for it. The key point I'm trying to make here is let your money work for you rather than you having to work so hard for your money. If we would all do this, it would turn the whole financial world upside down. Unfortunately, many of us don't.
In fact, most of us, before we got into this business, we didn't know how to do it. We're terribly deep in debt. You're probably, and you may be one of those, that you've...
You never really know what's going to happen. And the credit card has just been an easy fix. So our first goal that we probably should strive for is to get out of debt. And so that needs to be on your list. Wherever, just make sure you have it on your list, because debt is a slave and you're a slave to the debt, and you don't want to be in that predicament.
So as you're going through figuring out what it is that you want, that's one of the things you should do. Other things you might, besides, you know, buying that new car, is be looking at the kids' college education, or maybe you want to send them to private schools. Those are expensive things. Anyway, start setting your goals by following the steps above. Without this roadmap, you can never know where you are or where you're going, and if you do get there, you'd never know, because you don't have a goal set. If it can't be measured, you can never know where you are. It's only a dream, and you might as well stay asleep.
Step six, segments. We don't eat the whole elephant at one time. We break things up into segments, and that's very key for everything in your life. You don't learn SEO overnight. You don't learn how to do web pages overnight. You don't go through the 15K formula overnight. You take it step by step by step. So the same way with your goals, just be sure to break them into pieces. It's a lot easier to solve something if you're looking at pieces of things. It can be really overwhelming if you say, I want to make ten thousand dollars this month. It might be easier to say, I want to make one thousand dollars this month, I'm going to make two thousand dollars next month, three thousand dollars next month. Be realistic in your goals, but break them up. Just break it up, because it'll be easier for you to see.
Step seven, time frames. Every goal is going to have a time frame. That's part of being smart, is having that time frame, and that's what differentiates it from a dream or a wish, is you have a time that you're going to make that goal. Now, every goal that you set, like I said in the previous section, step six is you break it in pieces. Well, the easiest pieces to break things into are time pieces. So if you say, I want a million dollar ring by July of next year, then what will it take to get that million dollar ring? Break that down. Okay, how many sales is that a month? How many is that a week? How many is that a day? How many is that an hour that you would have to make to get that million dollar ring? So break everything into its smallest segment. And another reason we do this, and I covered this in the first section, the first audio, is our inner brain, or the more animalistic brain, is always fighting with our higher level brain. Our higher level brain is, you know, our cognitive thinking, it's the brain we address during the day, yeah, that's the brain we talk to. The animalistic brain is the one that tries to keep us alive, and tells us that, unfortunately it tells us a lot of times, well, you know, you couldn't do that before, what do you think you can now? And also it's where the fear, the fight or flight response, comes from. And so when you trigger that, it's almost instantaneous that it will tell you that, no, can't do that, I've got to run away from that, it's going to try to escape from that, because it's scary. It's no different than when a deer smells a lion or sees a lion. It doesn't stop to analyze, well, let's see how fast I have to run, no, it just goes. That's what the animalistic brain in our heads will do too. It's going to tell us go, it's not going to let us do certain things. So you don't want to trigger that fear response. So it's good to break things down in your head into its finest points. Like David Wood says, get to a day. If you just get two twenty-five dollar blog sales a day, then everything else takes care of itself, because that's a simpler thing to do than to say you've got to make ten thousand dollars this month, or fifty thousand dollars this month. That's going to trigger your fear response like anything else. So you have to break those down, time frames, and segment them down into time frames, and make it small enough so it's attainable, something that won't trigger a fear response, so that you'll actually do it. And that's, like I said before, that's the Kaizen principle, and it's a very fascinating topic in itself, you might want to study it.
Step eight, prioritize. Well, now you've got to figure out what you want to do first, and what second, you know. So once you have all the goals laid out, and in the right time frames, then you've got to figure out what you want to accomplish first. Because you have all these different sheets of paper, remember, you have money goals and family goals and education goals, so what things are you going to work on first? And so you've got to highlight those with a big yellow highlighter or whatever, put those up in big letters, all these goals that you're currently working on, make sure they're somewhere you can see them every day. This is where a lot of people fail, they'll write their goals down and stick them in a drawer and they never look at them again. So it's incredibly important, the brain is a repetitive machine. If it doesn't see something, if it doesn't hear something — and this is why we're going over a lot of stuff that you've heard over and over again — because the brain needs to have that reinforcement, and the brain will fixate on whatever it is told to do on a regular basis, that's just the way it's set up. So you have to have them so you can see them, and you should look at them every morning at least, and every night, and then let your subconscious work at night and figure out how it's going to accomplish that goal.
Step nine, goal statements. This is something I stole from a good friend, Noah Saint John. We've all seen affirmations — who was it, was on Saturday Night Live — anyway, he would get in the mirror and say how smart he was and how good looking he was and all those things. Well, there you go, your animalistic brain's like, nah, you know your mother always told you, you were the ugly child. So it's a little hard to overcome that by standing in front of a mirror and saying, oh, how good looking I am, now, especially if you were told as a child you were an ugly kid. So I like the way Noah presents affirmations — they're not affirmations, they're "afformations," it's not even a real word, except he invented it. Goal statements have to be powerful statements, they're written as if you have already attained that goal. Now, David tells you this all the time, these statements become what are called afformations instead of affirmations, because the difference — it may seem subtle, but to our subconscious it's a huge difference. When repeating an affirmation, you're telling your mind something you want to have happen. If your mind does not believe the statement is true, it will just ignore it. However, when stating the goal as an afformation, you are telling your subconscious that you have already attained that goal, and you're conscious that you have already attained the goal, and then the mind is calculating how it accomplished that goal. So when repeating the affirmation over and over, the mind is trying to figure out how the goal was accomplished, and the answer will be supplied to you on how to accomplish that goal. Repeat the goal statement over and over again with conviction and sincerity, your belief system will accept it as fact and show you how you did it. Goal statements use the power of thought, one level of creative energy, and the power of word, another level of creative energy. When you consistently affirm a statement, it is only a matter of time before the energy of thought and word move into form, and that's what we want, we want thought and word to become form. And create an affirmation: when writing your goal statements, use the words "I am" or "I have," to set the goal statement in the right direction, and the goal as having already been accomplished. The subconscious mind does not distinguish between what is real and what is vividly imagined. We can go on a whole topic of that, but what an athlete can do when they're recovering mentally, the mental exercises they have to go through, the mind can't tell the difference. So when you use the words "I want," the universe will provide you with the experience of wanting the goal, not having the goal. Wanting something is always placing it in front of you and not claiming the goal as yours. Claim the goal as yours, that you've already achieved.
The following are guidelines to be followed when creating your goal statement, so ensure each and every goal statement follows these guidelines, and you might want to take this down, like I said before: write the goal in present tense, as if you have already achieved the goal, using "I am" and "I have."
State your goals in the positive and choose your words carefully. For example, if your goal is weight related, ensure that you write out your ideal weight and use words such as slim, ideal weight, or healthy. Do not use words such as fat, heavy, or overweight. Use ING verbs in your statement wherever you can: driving, enjoying, celebrating, flying, cruising, singing, etc.
For example, "I, [put your name in there], am proudly receiving the award for [put in the award], your million dollar ring." Verbs in the present tense will help you experience the feeling that you will have when you achieve that goal. David tells you this all the time, you have to imagine that you already have that million dollar ring in your possession, if that's what your goal is. When writing out your goal statement, state your full name.
For example, "I, John Smith, am gratefully enjoying being an example of outstanding contribution to whatever." Ensure that the list of your top goals is written in your own handwriting, or typewriter or computer printed, and clearly displayed. When writing out your goal statement, be specific and clearly define your goal. So here's an example of a few, just so you can get it set in your head.
"I, Mary Smith, am happily enjoying the beauty of the view from the window of our beautiful cottage on the lake." "I, John Doe, am enjoying driving my brand new car." "I, Jane Smith, am enjoying being at my ideal weight of 115 pounds. I am fit and in excellent shape. I love to exercise and I do so on a regular basis."
Did you catch all that? All positives. And it was all stated as if it had already been accomplished. That's how to write your goal. "I, John Doe, am happily enjoying running my profitable and successful business. I offer tremendous value to my customers, and as a result, they benefit from the use of our products. Our revenue this year has exceeded last year's numbers by 200%."
That's how you need to write each of your goals. And I bet no one out there is doing that at this point.
So step 10 is review. Take the time to review your goal list. Keep a copy of your goal list with you over the next week. Carry it in your pocket.
Every time you put your hand in your pocket, you'll have this piece of paper. Take it out. Look at it. Add to the list as ideas come to your mind. Goals can be added and removed from your list at any time.
There's nobody standing behind you saying, oh, hey, you can't cross that goal off. It may be a different circumstance. Things happen in your life, and certain goals can be modified.
They're your goals. You can do anything with them you want. Don't think that once you've put them on paper they're set in stone. It's paper. Draw a line through it or just modify it.
But don't do it just because you're lazy and you don't want to do it. I put down that I'm going to lose 30 pounds, and yeah, that's not too hard, I'm going to lose 10 instead — no, that's just wimping out.
That's being a wussy. We don't accept wussies. Remember that there's no limit to the number of goals that you can be working toward. But if it starts becoming overwhelming, like I said, you can kind of cut back. Keep track of the goals list.
If it's too many, then you don't want to fail at all of them just because you've got too many things you're juggling. Just put some of them on the back burner, no big deal. Read your goal statements at least twice a day, every day. The best time to read your goals is just before you go to sleep, because at this time your conscious and subconscious minds are the most receptive.
This allows the subconscious mind to accept what you have written as a reality. Take the opportunity to read your goals throughout the day. If you're sitting in traffic, take out your goals, read them. If you're waiting in a dentist office, read your goals while you wait.
Always be working on your goals. As you plan your day, verify that each action is one which brings you closer to a goal. If you're doing anything and it's not attached to a goal, then you probably need to stop doing it, or you need to create another goal. You can always add to your goal list. Share your goals only with people who will support you.
If you think people will not support you and your goals, do not share your goals with them. This is important because it will allow you to avoid any negative input or possible non-empowering thoughts entering your mind. If people will support you, share your goals. You may find these people to be a great support, and they may also intensify the energy.
It's the same principle of masterminding. Two minds toward the same objective can accomplish ten times more than a single mind on its own.
When reading your goals, say them out loud. Say them with conviction. The intensity will contribute toward building the beliefs and putting energy in motion. So if you could have anything, what would that be? Dream big dreams.
Suspend any disbelief. Imagine there are no limits. Be decisive and know your outcome. If you follow the 10 steps to goal setting, your life will completely turn around.
All the roadblocks that had been put up between you and your goals will start dissolving. The reason: because now you have the powers of the universe working with you. All things are possible with the universal forces in your corner. Try it.
Prove it for yourself. Don't take my word for it. Go out and do it. See if it doesn't work.
Step six, moving forward with your goals. We are creatures of habit. Therefore, we must set a habit that influences our behavior patterns. Just setting goals and reading affirmations will not make us successful. It requires action.
These other things are important, because as the goal statements are read, the law of attraction is engaged. This is how you can actually create your subconscious to be focused on what you want. As we were talking about in the first Inner Circle audio, you have to be focused on what you want. The goals get you the steps that you need to take to get there. And then the universe starts working with you, and the laws of attraction will work for you.
And so if you've never had any success with the law of attraction, that's probably where you were failing. Now, you know what you must do to get the law of attraction to work for you. Taking action steps, though, is all the goal setting and all the focus.
Those are extremely important. But now we have to take action. Taking action helps this process along. So let me give you an example. Imagine that your goal is a small pile of metal filings and you're a magnet.
Imagine the magnet is at one end of a long table and the metal filings are at the opposite end. The law of attraction is working, that is, the magnetic force is attempting to draw the metal filings to the magnet. However, because of the distance between the two, bringing the metal filings to the magnet is not going to occur. However, if you physically move the magnet toward the metal filings, as the magnet draws closer, the magnetic force will draw the filings to the magnet.
So you see how this is working with the law of attraction. Okay, in your life, the same principle works with achieving your goals. Taking action moves you closer to that goal. It's that magnet moving closer to those metal filings. You can have the goal, you can think about it all the time, you can read your goal statements, but if you don't do anything about it, you will likely fail. That's all — you will not achieve the goal.
Tony Robbins talks about the overwhelming success that he realized at the beginning of his career. By the time he was in his late teens, he was running a successful business and making more money in a month than most people were making in a year.
And he's making a lot of money now. He was nicknamed Wonder Boy. When Tony was asked what contributed to his success, he said that he took massive action toward his goals. Not passive action, massive action. Taking action does not mean that you must take massive action.
As long as you're taking some action toward your goal, you will be moving in a forward motion and using the creative energy of action. So that magnet doesn't have to run over to the metal filings. As it slowly gets there, the magnetic attraction starts building and building and building, just like the law of attraction in your life will as you're taking action toward your goal. Once you set a goal, ask this question: what will I do to take me in the direction of my goal and achieve the desired result?
"What will I" is a pretty assumptive question. It assumes that you will do something, and this in turn causes you to take an action. At first, incorporating new disciplines into your life will feel foreign, especially if you start to do things that you haven't ever done in the past. So if you're wanting to run a marathon, if that's a goal, and you say, I'm going to run 10 miles tomorrow, your body is definitely going to fight that.
And you're probably crazy anyway, unless you're in really good shape. You'll probably need to work on a quarter mile, half mile, maybe a mile, build up to it. But at least you're taking some action. What will I do? Use that statement, "what will I."
So it is going to feel foreign. And like I said, this is why you have to break the goals down into pieces that are not scary. Anyway, this creates a feeling of discomfort.
But if you persist, the new behaviors will start to feel like normal everyday activities. And that's the key. You want to make your actions toward your goals become habit. Habit changes everything. I knew a girl who had broken her arm when she fell out of a tree.
She had always been right-handed, but because her arm was in a sling so long, she had developed her left hand to handle all of her daily tasks, including writing. It was awkward for some time. However, it finally began to feel normal to write with her left hand, so much so that when she had the cast and sling removed from her right arm, she continued writing with her left hand. At first, when you are adapting to new behaviors, it feels awkward and unnatural, just as it did for the girl trying to write with her left hand.
But she persisted, because at the time she had no other choice. Actually, she did have another choice, the one many of us take: when the going gets tough, just don't do anything.
"Oh, I can't write, got my arm in a sling, you'll have to write for me." No, she took action. We need to take action.
So what actions should you take? Well, here's a suggested list, I'm trying to help you here. Okay, find someone who can help. Create a mastermind alliance, a group of individuals who help support each other.
This is why we have our Facebook groups and any other kind of group, because together we're so much stronger than we ever could be by ourselves. Search for the information. The internet is jam-packed full of valuable and useful information. Start by being clear about your goal, then look for the answer. Ask questions.
You'll find them. If you look, the answer will be given to you. The mind loves questions. If you will pose a question to your mind every night, you will have answers when you wake up in the mornings. It may take several nights, but you'll get an answer, because your brain loves answering questions.
Make a plan. Follow it. Do something daily, a tool for achieving your goal. Creating a plan will take some time, but once you've done it, all you have to do is follow it and modify it if necessary.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Complete this exercise at least a week after reading and stating your affirmations twice or more a day. At this point, your mind will have started putting the pieces together on how you're going to accomplish your goals, because your affirmation statements have no control over your actions — you're going to have to implement your actions on your own. Now, having convinced your subconscious that you have accomplished your goal, and it's been formulating how it was accomplished, take each affirmation — remember, goal statement — using your subconscious, map out a monthly, weekly, daily activity schedule.
At the end of each day, write down a list of items you will accomplish which will bring you closer to your goal. Each morning, plan out your day and how each task will be accomplished. Never end your day before the list is complete, and you will never fail to reach your goals. I think that's really important. Write out — now, you can do this at night, you can do it in the morning, I actually — it works really well for a lot of people to have it written out at night, what you're going to accomplish the next day. Let your mind dwell on it as you're sleeping, it still works. Then during the day, accomplish every one of those tasks, and you'll never fail to reach your goal.
See, all this time you've had this problem reaching your goals. Well, now you know how to overcome that, and I think we're going to end this here. And I thank you for listening to this Inner Circle audio. I will be making a third Inner Circle audio, and it will start with step seven of the 13 Steps to Success. And I hope you like these. If you would like a copy of this, just let me know, I can send you the 13 Steps to Success, and if you will just redline it for me and send back a copy, so that I can make a copy of this, and I'll see you next time. You better, maybe, update it — like I said, I wrote this about three years ago, and I think these principles are consistent and constant, so for the most part I don't believe there's anything that's really outdated. But if you find something, write me a little note, I would appreciate it. Thank you very much, this is Roy Harris, and I'm extremely grateful to have this opportunity to speak with you. Have a wonderful day, and talk to you very soon. Be looking for audio number three, 13 Steps to Success.
