The Golden Rule Vic Strizhouse Says Most Marketers Get Backward

This lesson is part of Your Biggest Month Ever
The full recording is free with an account. One email gets you in.

You have built a list, run the traffic, watched people opt in, and then hit the same wall almost everyone in this industry hits without realizing there is a wall at all. Vic Strizhouse names it directly at the start of the fifth session: most marketers stop the moment somebody buys once, and never build anything that lasts past that single transaction.

He draws a skyscraper on the whiteboard behind him to make the point visual. What nobody sees, the foundation underneath the building, is the marketer themselves, and everything else in the business collapses if that piece is not there. But the session is not another round of mindset talk. It is a specific breakdown of how trust actually gets engineered, on purpose, rather than hoped for.

What is the golden rule most marketers get exactly backward?

Vic states it as plainly as he can. Most of the industry is focused on getting customers to make sales. He argues the far more durable approach is the reverse.

You want to make sales to get customers. Don’t confuse this with getting customers to make sales.

The distinction sounds subtle until you watch what it does to a business. A marketer chasing sales alone treats every subscriber as a transaction and burns through their list constantly needing fresh traffic to replace the people they have already worn out. A marketer chasing customers, in Vic’s sense of the word, treats every sale as the start of a relationship worth protecting, which is exactly what creates the kind of equity that survives even if the specific product or company disappears tomorrow.

What are the actual ingredients that make a stranger start trusting you?

Vic lists them out like a checklist because, in his account, every one of them can be deliberately built rather than waited for.

  • Authority, the presence a doctor or a police officer carries simply by occupying that role.
  • Affinity, sharing real, similar experiences rather than a polished, distant persona.
  • Credibility, which he says is the easiest of all to build, since it comes directly from documenting your own small wins as they happen.
  • Longevity, celebrity, familiarity, frequency, endorsements, and demonstration, each one a lever rather than a personality trait.

He is specific that overdoing any single lever backfires. Email a list too often and people go numb to you. Claim too much authority and people stop resonating with you. The goal is a balance heavy enough to outweigh a stranger’s natural distrust of salespeople, without tipping into the same aggressive noise every other marketer is already producing.

Why does demonstrating something beat describing it every time?

Vic uses an old-fashioned door-to-door vacuum sale to make this point, the kind where the salesperson cleans one room with your current vacuum, then runs their machine over the same spot and lets you see the dirt in the water yourself. Nobody has to argue with what they just watched happen in front of them.

The same principle, he says, applies to anything you are promoting online. Instead of telling people traffic generation works, show them a live campaign running in real time, the leads landing, the list growing while they watch. “Never abuse your customers, that goes without saying” is the third rule he sets alongside this, a plain guardrail meant to keep the whole system honest rather than manipulative.

How do these pieces actually fit together in a single email sequence?

Vic maps out what he calls the triangle of trust: a thank-you page that reinforces whatever someone just opted in for, a short personal follow-up with zero pitch attached, a survey that quietly asks what people are struggling with, and only then, once trust has actually been earned, an offer built specifically around what that survey revealed. Each step does its own job. Skip ahead to the offer too early and the whole sequence collapses back into the noise everyone else is already making.

Building it this way is slower than blasting a list with the same offer every day. It is also, in Vic’s account, the only version of the business that keeps paying long after the traffic source that built it has changed or disappeared entirely.

The full session goes much further than what is captured here, including Vic’s full walkthrough of the survey template he still uses today. Watch it in full, free, when you Create your free account.

All right, all right, everybody. What's going on, you guys? Welcome back. Good to be back with you guys again here.

A little bit of a different setting today. Got my water with me, ready to go. Let me know if you guys are with me here in a minute. We will be getting started momentarily.

I just want to make sure that I'm actually on is all because sometimes it's Google. I'll get a sip of water. You guys let me know. That's some really, really cool stuff to talk about tonight.

We'll be talking about how to create trust in marketing, how to create trust and influence in marketing. Guys, I'm pumped. As soon as I hear somebody's response that we are live and we are going to be starting. I just want to make sure that we are actually live because you never know.

You know what? I'm just going to assume that I know there's a little bit of a delay. I'm just going to assume that we are live. If somebody travels or somebody on here monitoring, you guys can text me or Skype me.

Let me know that I'll feel better. You know what I mean? Because I'm just talking to you. We can hear you.

Awesome. We can get started now because I just don't want to feel like I'm talking to the computer. It actually happened to me once, believe it or not. I started the webinar and nobody could hear me.

My microphone inside of my computer settings were muted out and I was just talking to myself. I was like, I'm not going to be able to hear you. I'm going to be like, I'm going to be like, I'm going to be like, I'm going to be like, I'm talking and talking and talking to a computer with no feedback, and nobody could hear me. So now I just want to make sure that, okay cool, folks I'm fired up, we're getting towards the end of the training and you know what, everything is going to start to come together for you guys, right?

Probably about starting with tonight's training, okay? So tonight's lesson is, in my opinion, everything is important, you know, everything is important. So it's just like, which is more important, my right arm or my left arm, right? My head or my legs or my ear, I mean everything is important, right?

And everything needs to be in place for your business to function properly and everything needs to be in place perfectly, right? For you to be able to – I don't believe in business to where you have to depend on somebody or you know, on some kind of system. I believe in business. in business where you get to decide how much money you make, where you get to decide what you want your business to look like, where you get to actually decide where do you want to live, how you want to run your business, and you can actually run your business on your terms.

And for that to happen, my friend, there are certain things that we need to understand on how to do this. So thus far, if I can just take a couple of minutes, thus far basically what we've covered is start with you, man. Everything starts with you. And I think if you, I told you guys, we talked about in the first webinar or the first lesson was kind of the secret behind the glamour.

Every successful entrepreneur, myself included, anybody you look at who is truly, truly a quote unquote success in other people's eyes, we all started out pretty much broke, pretty much at the exact same level. No list. Yeah. Broke, frustrated, disgusted, you know.

And nothing will happen for you, I mean all of this stuff is going to be irrelevant if you don't believe that, you know what, it's possible for you to make it. You know. When I was getting started in this industry, I had a burning desire, I shared that with you guys last night. That burning desire was carrying me over through a lot of different obstacles and along came some mentors and some people that I was learning from.

And I was just fortunate. You know, I don't, you know, we don't possess any magical, Dave Wood, Dave Sharp, none of these guys, you know, Tony Raj, anybody in the leadership council, anybody that you see out there. When I look at people who are, you know, the Donald Trumps of the world, when I look at people like Robert Kiyosaki and Tony Robbins and all these celebrities, right, in other people's eyes, when I look at them, you know, I don't see myself inferior to those people. I don't see them as someone who is superior to everybody else.

These are the people who actually craft. They believed in their vision. They believed what they wanted to do. And they went out there and they got it.

You know, sometimes we need to take the time to learn the game. You know, doctor goes to school for 10, 12 years, 15 years to become a doctor. In this industry, it's actually possible for everybody. This is my sincere belief and my sincere hope for you to just get that belief in yourself and start believing that it's actually possible for you to achieve this.

Now, once you have that, right, I mean, there is certain things that we need to do and we covered some of the things. We talked about, you know, starting to, you know, how to step out and, you know, and brand yourself, right, and do things that most people don't want to do, right. Take care of your opt-ins and how to do that. We've covered some of that stuff.

We'll be covering a lot more in great details and actually I want to get into the specific how to and teach you guys some specifics tonight that will allow you to become an unstoppable marketer, an unstoppable entrepreneur. Okay. And, you know, we talked about, you know, a person who would be magnetic to other people, a person who would be superior in other people's eyes, okay. And you will do that because you will understand some behind the scenes principles and some, you know, kind of behind the curtain psychological things that you can deploy in your business and your marketing as you're building your business that will really help you get to the next level, okay.

You know, we covered about, we talked about, you know, you're building your business from, position of power okay not building a business from the position of a weakness but building your business from a position of power and it actually starts from within you know your success is gonna come from within it will never come from you know the outside source you know we might get inspired we might get an idea we might get you know I'm we might come across somebody who might you know tell us something that would you know get us going right but ultimately is gonna be up to us so it's very very important as you build your business I'm actually gonna draw something here for you guys you know this you know the skyscraper and this is just like right what we don't see in a skyscraper is the you know is the foundation here okay is the foundation that nobody wants to talk about in our community right this right here is you okay this area right here is you this is your business and there is something but if this is gone right your business will not be sustainable so I'm if you are almost like you if you are if you haven't watched the the other webinars the other trends that we did I suggest you watching guys I'm I'm gonna get into the to tonight's topic I and just the talk about really what what how I was able to create influence in my community I by all means I'm not saying that you know I have I have arrived or anything right I'm still in the process of learning I'm still in the process of I'll ball you know implement the new you you know doing things that most people don't want to do guy if you want to get results that most people don't have you wanna start doing what most people don't want to do okay so I there is never a point in your business to work you'll be like okay now I learned this I'm good to go I don't need to learn anything else okay I believe there is and I believe when you stop learning you gonna start you know go down I when if your business is not going up is going to go on going to go down and you don't want to be in a position to where your business goes down you always want to be going up okay so I some of the things that allowed me to I'm to see the success that I was a you know that I was able to at you create you know so far in my you know internet marketing career I'm a lot of it I credit back to you know being able to I'm create this environment to work with when when people step into your business I'm going to share these ideas with you guys I want to start thinking about how can you implement some of these ideas in your business okay don't just watch this and and you know and don't do anything I want you to you start thinking about these and how can you implement this in your business okay cool so I learned a lot from people who were a very successful in what they were doing okay I was learning from people like Dan Kennedy I was learning from people like you know Bob Proctor I was learning from people like I you know Frank Kern I was learning from people I'm like rich you know chef and I was learning from from a lot of really really I'm smart marketers you know I'm I was always and still am always in the I'm in the search for the next level okay something you might wanna jot down I never get complacent okay there is you know if you get to you 2000 a month or twenty thousand a month if your goal is you know 10,000 a month never get complacent with your goals because as soon as you start you know as soon as you get complacent and as soon as you start kinda relaxing a little bit I you will start going down one thing that I noticed my business is and this is what I learned from my I when my mentors he said Vic always work on yourself right night and I repeat this over and over and over again okay because this is like eighty percent of people who are here hearing this message K they're just not listening to this they're not paying attention to it I he said always grow yourself okay a and then notice this in my business not one time not two times but virtually every time this this happened when I unplug from developing me as a marketer guy from developing my you know my for a from expanding my my a my vision right I anytime when I stop up we anytime when I stop listening to tapes, anytime when I stop putting good information that got me to where I'm at, I notice how my income, my business, the growth of my business is stopping.

It's not moving in the direction I want to go. And this is honest truth. Proof in the pudding. We have a team member.

Some of you guys, those guys who have been in Miami for Empower Network event, there was a guy on stage, one of our team members, Paulo Barroso. A year ago, one year ago, he came to me and he actually called me on the phone. He said, Vic, I am afraid I'm going to lose my job. The market is unstable.

I really need to get out of here. I need to get out of here. I really need to get out of here. I need to get out of here.

I need to get out of here. I need to get this internet marketing thing going. What would you recommend? And I told him basically exactly what my mentor told me in the beginning.

He said, money will come if you focus on developing you, if you focus on being the best version, if you focus on being better today than you were yesterday. Will this happen every day? No. But magically, things will start to appear in your business and money will follow every single time.

I told him that. A year later, he was up on stage getting his big check and being recognized for being one of the top income earners in Empower Network. This stuff works. But when you take yourself, when you take what we have been talking about up to this point and you put some really strategic marketing pieces on top of that, you explode your business.

There are four things I want to share with you. There are four things I want to share with you. This is the golden rule. If you guys are taking notes, which I suggest you do, this is the golden rule.

If you can build your business based on this rule right here, this can literally make you a millionaire. I'm going to explain this on exactly how you can implement this in your business. This is how I built my business. You want to create a date.

I want to rephrase this a little bit. You don't create customers. First, everybody wants to make sales. Everybody wants to see what most people do is affiliate marketing, ClickBank world, all these, the big affiliate summits that's going on, everything that's going on in our community.

For the most part, let's say 90% plus, people are focusing to acquire customers to make sales. In other words, people are focusing on making money today and there is nothing wrong with it. You started in this industry. You got started just like I did to create a better lifestyle.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but there is one thing that people are missing. This is your golden rule right here. You want to make sales to get customers. Let me explain what this means.

You want to make sales to get customers. Don't confuse this with getting customers to make sales. When you are building your business, there is a certain process that happens. You have traffic.

Everybody wants to learn how to get traffic. Perfect. We're going to teach you how to get traffic. Getting traffic is the easiest thing in the world.

Internet traffic formula is going to be available. You probably already have it. If you don't have it, get it. Traffic will never be an issue for you as a market.

I promise you that. You get traffic. You get opt-ins. This is the process.

You build your list. Everybody wants to know how to build a list. Cool. That's very important in your business.

Getting your list is going to come from your ability to understand traffic and also understand conversions. Traffic and conversions, again, Internet traffic formula. If you are watching this, if you don't have it, get it and it's going to teach you how to do that. When you have opt-ins, you turn your opt-ins into sales.

Your sales become your customers. Then you want this. This is what I want to talk to you guys about. Most people stop right here.

They stop right here. This is where most of our community societies should never be. members, and when I say community members, I'm talking about the internet marketing community, this space of ours. This is where most people stop.

If you want to build a long-term business, if you want to be able to wake up in the morning and you just decide, you know what, I just feel like making an extra $50,000 would be nice, doing it ethically and helping people at the same time. If you wanted to do that, if you attach these two at the end, you'll be able to do that any time. If you want to wake up in the morning, some of you guys are wondering how do I win contests and things like that. How do you step in the game how do you step into whatever, promotion or contest or whatever it is that's going on out there.

You literally crush it. You don't just win by a little bit, but you just crush it. The question is, how do you do that? I'm actually curious, if you guys can let me know if this stuff is coming through okay, if my video quality is okay.

I'm going to teach you guys how to do that tonight. Very, very cool stuff and very, very strategic, very underground stuff some of this is going to be. Now, there are three factors that will nurture what I call trust-based marketing or trust-based equity in your business. This is what you want to create.

I believe that when I'm building my business, this is my mindset as a marketer. When I'm building my business, I believe that when I'm building my business, this is my mindset. I believe that when I'm building my business, this is going to be. This is what I believe that if we're moving forward in my business I want to create equity in my business.

Equity is something that will pay, over and over and over again, for a very long time. In you focus on that, this is essentially what we're going to do for the rest of the training. We're going to focus on how to create customers. Not in sales is fine.

This stuff is going to make you money for the day. This stuff is going to feed you forever. This stuff right here is going to allow you to win contests. This stuff is going to allow you to, you know what, if God forbid something happened to the opportunity that you're in right now, if God forbid something happened to your business right now, if you wake up in the morning tomorrow and everything is taken away from you, if you have this right here, you can recreate that in a heartbeat.

You can recreate your business. If everything got taken away from you right now, literally, if there was no Empower Network, if there was no Big Idea Mastermind, if there was nothing that was available to me, I would be able to recreate my income and get to the point where I'm at right now, income-wise and lifestyle-wise and everything, probably within about 90 days. Not saying that to be arrogant, not saying that to say that I'm somebody special, no. I simply understand and was deliberately engineering in my business this part right here, this part of the formula.

And so, yeah. I'm going to teach you how to do that, okay, if you guys are taking notes. There is three key factors in creating equity in your business, in creating equity through marketing in your business, okay? As a smart marketer, you need to do that.

So number one, okay, is you need to be a blunt teller of truth, okay? Actually, I'm going to write these down. Blunt teller of truth, okay? Number two is you need to have your stake in the ground.

My handwriting is terrible, guys, I hope you can read this, okay? And number three is never abuse your customers, okay? Three key factors to engineering equity in your business. Blunt teller of truth, okay?

Put your stake in the ground, we're going to talk about that, and then never abuse your customers. Now, think of people who are really influential in our community, okay, in the world. Think of people who have a lot of equity in their business, okay? Think of Donald Trump, you know, recently I've been studying a lot, you know, and kind of following what Donald Trump is teaching and just his overall business strategies.

It has nothing to do with internet marketing. He's not an internet marketer. You know, he's a real estate guy, right? But I am interested in how he thinks as a businessman.

You know, I am interested in his ideas, you know, his principles, right? Which is thing number two is, you know, your principles, okay? And what I see in Donald Trump that's something I can take for my business, and certainly something I'm doing, right? Is that that guy is a blunt teller of truth.

Okay? And he's going to tell you what he thinks, okay? And he doesn't care whether you care, you know, what he thinks or not, okay? He does not care.

That creates something. You know, most marketers, they want to please everybody, okay? He will not tell you what you want to hear. He will tell you how it is, okay?

When I look at that, and I look at my business, and I say, Donald Trump, you know, he is where he is at. Today, you know, he's been bankrupt, you know, several times, right? Because of the nature of the business, right? Sometimes, you know, the real estate market goes down or whatever, and he loses everything.

But the guy's thermostat, right, financial thermostat, it's set to billions, not millions. If he's a millionaire, you know, he's broke in his mind, okay? So that in itself tells you something, but on top of that, when he's building his business, he doesn't take. I mean, he doesn't pull any punches, okay?

When he doesn't like something, you will know about it, okay? When you are around Donald Trump, I actually, I've been to an event when he was speaking, and he is, just like he is on TV, he is in real person, okay? Blunt teller of truth. What does this have to do with marketing, guys, okay?

When you are promoting, especially if you are building your business, this is what, this is how I look at it, okay? As a business builder, when you have this right here, okay? When you have traffic, you have your list, you're building your list. The most important asset initially, okay, in your business, the most important part of your business that you need to take care of and treat it like gold, okay, is this part, your list.

When you guys are going out there, and when you will be advertising, right, you will be getting tons and tons of traffic to your sites. You will be getting thousands of visitors. I actually just ran a campaign, and I shot a video to Big Idea Mastermind, to my team, showing them some things. Over the last two weeks, folks, okay, over the last two weeks, I was running some test campaigns and just testing out different, you know, different traffic strategies and things like that.

And I got enough traffic. I got enough traffic to build over 50,000 opt-ins, okay, in about two weeks, okay, just testing some ideas. So, trust me, this part right here, you will never have to worry about it, okay, it's going to be there. In fact, some of the traffic sources you guys will be learning in Internet Traffic Academy, or Internet Traffic Formula, excuse me, you know, I will show you, you know, where I go to get my traffic to, you know, to get my opt-ins at a rate of up to 60%, okay, with cold traffic.

It's not an issue. Your marketing begins when people get on your list, okay. So as people get on your list, they are probably on other people's lists, okay. And so how you treat them in the beginning, what you promote to them as a marketer, okay, if you are selling to them anything to make a buck, I see so many people out there, they're promoting, you know, all kinds of, all kinds of garbage, okay, just garbage, man, just garbage, pure garbage.

And they're slamming their list, they're slamming their list, and they're, you know, one day is this offer, another day is another offer, third day is something else, and then fifth day they're just, you know, pitching the same recycled offer again. They're treating their list as a number, okay. These are real people, you need to understand, with real goals, real vision, okay, for the future, real desires, okay, real names. These are names, okay.

These are actual people, and if you treat this like a number, you know, when you think about your list, you know, a lot of, I come from an affiliate marketing world, you know, and unfortunately, a lot of times, you know, you will go to an event and you will hear these super affiliates, these guys who are just, you know, they're getting tons of lists, they're, you know, they're sharing lists, they're just, I mean, they're cycling their list like crazy. Okay, you go to an event in that environment and you don't hear them talk about people's dreams and visions, right.

All you hear them talk about is, hey, I got, you know, what's your list size, you know, 80,000 people, 50,000 people, 300,000 people, you know. It's all about data and numbers, okay. Some of those people are making money, right, but in order for them to make the kind of money that they're making, they need to, I mean, they need to spin their tires like crazy. They need to, you know, work.

Okay. They need to do their butt off every single month. There is no sustainability. There is no, I come from that world, guys, I know, okay.

They're doing launches after launches after launches. I'm not sure if any of you, you know, had an opportunity or ability to launch a product. It is a lot of work. It is very, very hard work, okay.

And these, a lot of these marketers that are making good money, right, but they are treating their list as a number, they have to rebuild their business every single month. Okay. If not every single month, it's every other month. They're basically rebuilding their business because their list open rate is going, you know, it just plummets, okay.

And if your open rate is very, very low on your list, there is a way to fix it. I'm going to share with you guys how to fix your open rates tonight, okay. There's a way to do that, but it starts right here. So be a blunt teller of truth.

Here is a principle that I'm building my business. This is one of my principles, okay. Thing number two right here, okay. Principle.

When I start my business, I never promote something that I don't own, okay. So if I don't, if I didn't buy something, if I don't own something, I will not promote it, I will not recommend it to my list, okay. And it starts very early on, okay. You make sales to get customers, yeah.

Golden rule. Guys, think with me here, okay. By the time we are done tonight, you will have a crystal clear path to follow, okay, if you're marketing, starting after tonight. I'm going to show you exactly what you can do tonight, okay, to start turning this around and start focusing on not only this, but also this right here, okay.

So, please time attention, okay. If this stuff seems like basic stuff, it is. It is basic stuff. But let me ask you this.

Are you doing it, okay or how are you doing it, is the better question? But my stake in the ground. My? I'm going to share it with you, is if I don't own it, if I haven't tried it, I will never ever recommend it to somebody else, especially to my list.

When people call me on the phone, sometimes they track my phone number, I don't know even how, and I was just talking just another day to somebody and he was saying, hey Vic, I got $25, just cracked my last $25 I could find. Can I be successful getting in at my last $25? Can I make $5,000 a month like you guys are talking about? You know what I told him?

I said, no, you can't. It's not going to happen. Tell people what they need to hear. Don't tell people what they want to hear.

If you tell them, yeah, just get in, whatever, take your last bread money and just get in. You're going to be rich tomorrow. What you're doing is you are setting yourself up for failure. You will never have a customer or fan for life.

Never abuse your customers, that goes without saying. What I actually want to do is, you know what, give me one sec here, let me do this. There's something I want to show you guys here that's pretty cool. I will help you.

I really hope that this stuff, when you guys are… When we finish here tonight, okay, you will have a good idea of what to do because I know some of you guys have been emailing, contacting me and sending me emails and you're like Vic, you know I need help, I'm trying to build my business, what do I do, how do I get started, all that good stuff. So I wanted to kind of package this together tonight and just really give you a clear path. Okay.

So. Here is… Okay. Here is something that, you know, again, if you're taking notes, okay, this is one of the principles that I build my business on, okay.

I have been married for over nine years. It will be our 10 year anniversary here this year, okay. I got married when I was 20 years old, believe it or not, okay. And I'm not sure, you know, how many of you guys are married and how many of you guys, you know, are married.

I don't know. On your, you know, second, third, fourth, maybe fifth marriage, I don't know, okay. This is my first marriage and I intend that to be for the rest of my life, okay. I mean I don't, but this is, here is how I build my business, okay.

I look at my business as a marriage, okay. How do you, how, here is a question for you, okay. Ask yourself this. Okay.

How do you need to treat your customer so that they will stay with you for the rest of their life, okay. Now when I ask myself that question, a lot of times, you know, what comes to your mind first is not going to be the right answer, okay. How do I need to treat my clients, how do I need to treat my list, okay, so that they would stay with me for the rest of their life. Now will this be true for every customer, for every subscriber?

Absolutely not, okay, absolutely not. But overall, if you approach your business from that question, from that angle, okay, your mind will start to think a little bit differently. Your mind will start to think in a little bit of a, you know, take a little bit of a different direction, you know, as you're building your business. So how can you make money today and how can you get customers today, at the same time, create an equity, okay, create value, create trust today, okay, at the same time.

Does that make sense? So when I think about that and I, you know, initially when I was learning from people like Dan Kennedy and still do, you know, if you guys are, you know, give him a plug, he's an awesome market, okay. When you have a chance to get around his stuff, I recommend you check him out, okay. But here are the… Here are some of the things that create, actually I'm just going to keep this because we're going to reference it back, okay.

Here are some things, guys, that create trust in your business. Here are some things that create equity in your business, okay. I hope you will take these down. I hope you will write these down and I hope you will, after tonight, you will start to think about each one of those and how can you implement it in your business because in doing that, you will start to create trust in your market.

Okay, this stuff is engineerable. This stuff is creatable. This stuff is, you know, you can actually manufacture this. You don't have to be, you know, a born inspirator.

You don't have to be a born, you know, a motivator. You don't have to be born, you know, with some special abilities or special skills. All of this stuff… I had somebody call me the other day and they're like, Vic, I am just… this is just the way I am. I cannot influence people.

I cannot, you know, do what you do. I cannot do what other people are doing. This is just me, man. I don't know how to do it.

I don't know how to be friendly with people. You know, I don't know how to talk to people. I don't know how to write emails. And you know what I say?

I say, that's not true. That's not who you are. You can learn this stuff, okay? Here is my philosophy of life and business, guys.

Nothing, nothing is impossible to you if you want it bad enough, okay? Nothing. Listen, last year, right, we went to the circus. Took my kids, right?

They taught animals how to drive bikes. They taught animals, animals, right? They taught the monkey, they taught a dog how to, you know, ride a motorcycle, okay? Trust me, you can learn this stuff and you can engineer this stuff.

So here's how you create trust in marketing, okay? Here's how you can create trust in your business. There are several different things, okay, that will allow you to create trust and a lot of equity in your business, okay? All right.

Now, the most important one is authority, okay? Think of, you know, a doctor, a lawyer, you know, police officer, right, authority, okay? Think of people who are the most influential people in any business, okay? They have an authority.

They are an authority figure in the business, okay? I think of Donald Trump. He's an authority. Okay, when he enters the room, there is an authority, there is a presence, there is a certain presence, right?

The good news is you can engineer this, okay? When you learn how to engineer this, I'm going to show you how to do that tonight, okay? You can engineer authority in your business and then you can grow it, okay? Something else that's going to help you create, you know, equity and create trust in marketing and business is going to be affinity, okay?

Now. Okay. So, I'm going to show you, you know, similar backgrounds, right? Similar experiences, similar stories.

As you're listening to me, as you're watching this kind of stuff, folks, again, think about how can you implement this in your marketing? How can you implement this in your business, okay? Another one, a very important one is credibility, okay? Credibility is your facts, okay?

What have you accomplished? What did you do? And credibility is actually very, very easy to engineer. Okay.

We had, you know, we had a 10K Challenge Winners Retreat in Miami the other day and there was a gentleman, okay, he can barely speak English. I actually, you know, there was an interview on my blog about that. But he started out with 60 opt-ins on his list, 60 people on his list, okay? He started out with 60 people on his list and he was able to scale that up, okay, and create enough trust with his little list that he had.

And then just like in the last, well, during the contest that we were running, you know, he earned over $16,000 qualified for the retreat, okay, guys? This stuff is powerful. Credibility, the easiest way to create credibility is the stuff that we have been talking about, I believe in the first lesson or the second lesson of this program, is building on your little successes. When I was, when I learned about this particular piece, okay, and the importance of having, you know, success.

Okay. When you're having credibility in your business, number one, you can borrow credibility, okay? If you are just getting started, you can borrow credibility. That's what I did in the very, very beginning, okay?

I was referencing my sponsor's credibility, you know, I was referencing my team's credibility. And if you haven't made money yet, you don't talk about making money. You don't talk about, you know, you never lie to people. You never say you earned $20,000 when you didn't earn two bucks, okay?

Credibility is when you can prove something. Something that is working either for somebody else who is associated with you, okay, or for yourself. So if you go to an event, right, for example, and you meet your sponsor or you meet somebody else, you know, your team member, and, you know, and they have the result that you don't have yet, you know what? You take pictures, all right?

You do a video interview. Your association with that person will create, will give you a little step up in the credibility arena, okay? Run an ad campaign. When you get traffic right here, guys, pay attention because this stuff is going to be, is going to come together and you, I promise you, okay?

When you do this in the, like, when you take this blueprint right here, okay, and the stuff that we have been talking about, you know, up until this point, folks, this year can be the most profitable, the most explosive year for you, period, okay? And moving into the future, your business will never be the same. You will never look at your business the same, okay? When you will, you know.

When you get access to the, you know, internet traffic formula, okay? You will learn how to get traffic. When you have 100 opt-ins, when you have 1,000 opt-ins, when you have 10 opt-ins on your list, it's very, very easy to start building credibility with your list, okay? You do a quick video proof, right, and you talk about what you did here that got you this.

Does that make sense? That's going to give you a little bump in the credibility arena. Okay, so moving forward, there's quite a few things, okay? Longevity.

Longevity, all right? How long have you been in this community? How long have you been with a particular company, with a particular system? If you are a jumper, let me tell you this.

Let me tell you something. If you're jumping ships all the time, okay, if you never can, you know, can put your stake in the ground with something, with one thing, if you're here today, gone tomorrow, if you're doing one thing today. And you're doing something else tomorrow, and yet something else tomorrow, and if that's how your list is, you know, this is how your list sees you, right, as this jumper, right, there is no longevity. I don't care if you've been a marketer for the last 20 years, okay?

There is no longevity with you. Like if you go to apply for a loan, okay, to a bank, they look at your track record, right? They look at your job, right? They look at your previous employment history, right?

And they look at how long have you worked for other companies in the past. And if you worked for five companies over the last two years, okay, you will probably not get a job if the job is decent enough. Does that make sense? Guys, important stuff, all right?

When your list sees you as a person who is centered, okay, a person with a vision and a person who's going to go through whatever you need to go through. To get to your end destination, all right, no matter what, they'll respect you and you'll have, you know, you'll have trust with them, all right? Next one is celebrity, okay? Celebrity status creates trust and creates equity in your business, okay?

All of these stuff right here is engineerable, okay? All of these stuff you can do starting tonight, I'm going to show you, okay? So for example, celebrity. How do you create celebrity?

Well, you can create celebrity status. You can create celebrity status by A, something as simple as just association, okay? You can also create celebrity status by doing video, okay? When people see you on video, they look at you differently, okay?

When you get on stage, whether it's Empower Network or, you know, when you get in front of a group of people, okay, or you do your own event or you do a hangout, how about that? Or you do a webinar or you do a teleconference, right? Believe it or not, in a lot of people's eyes, you become, quote unquote, celebrity. Celebrity in our community doesn't mean that you need to be, you know, a movie star, all right, to be a celebrity.

If you are doing things that most people are not doing, okay, and if you're perceived as a little bit, you know, you've got something that other people don't have, okay? Okay. You're doing a Google hangout. You are, you know, you're up on stage.

You took a picture with, you know, with another perceived celebrity in that niche, okay? By the virtue of association, you do a video, you know, you shoot videos. And when you shoot videos, you, you know, you portray the best version of you, okay? When you shoot your videos, you don't take your, you know, your phone and just talk like, well, you know, yeah, I had a good day today.

You know, it was great. I guess, you know. There is no celebrity in that. You know, when you shoot your video, you talk to the camera like this is your best friend.

And how you feel over here is going to get transferred over there, okay? And when they feel that, you become celebrity in their eyes. Why? Because chances are they probably cannot do that, okay?

They probably think that this is hard. When they resonate with you, they feel that when they do a video. People will not resonate with them like they resonated with you. Does that make sense?

Let me check this if you guys are still with me here, okay? This is going to, it's really going to get, it's really going to get, we're going to get deeper in this, in this kind of stuff, okay? This stuff is really, really actually really, really good, okay? This is going to allow you guys to, to, I'm going to show you, again, I'll give you guys a specific assignment tonight, alright, and show you how to do this all together, okay, by the time we're done.

Okay? So, think about, again, as I'm sharing these ideas with you, think about how can you implement this in your marketing, starting tonight, okay? Alright, so, let's see, okay, so you can still see here, okay. Something else here, alright?

How about familiarity, okay? Familiarity is how familiar are they with you, okay? When, and a lot of people think that, you know what, to be familiar, to keep yourself familiar with your list, right? Right?

It's on a daily basis, right? Familiarity, we're going to come back to that, actually, but familiarity is, is one of the most important things that you can start engineering in your marketing. Familiarity means how familiar are your people with your name, okay? Some of you guys are promoting out there, and I've seen this, okay, certainly I, I can talk about this because I, I, we got, we got a team of over 28,000 people right now within Empower Network that we've built just over the last about 13, 14 years.

13, 14 months, alright? Started from scratch, started from an idea, over 28,000 people, okay guys? So and, and I can, I can talk about this because I, I see this happening on my team, alright? People who got started, okay, people who promote stuff, they don't want to put their name in front of their opt-ins, okay, in front of the list, but when somebody, when they get traffic they get an opt-in, right?

And when they send out an email, autoresponder to that opt-in, they don't want to put their name in front of their opt-ins, okay, in front of the list, but when somebody, when they get traffic, they get an opt-in, right? They use somebody else's name, alright, or they use a company's name as they from in the email. Does that make sense? Don't do that.

That's, that's bad for your business, that's bad for you, alright? You want to use your name, why? Because you want to be familiar, okay, you want to be familiar with your list, you want to be familiar with your marketplace, you want to be familiar, not Vic, you don't want to use Vic's name to promote your stuff. You don't want to use Dave Wood's name to promote your stuff.

You want to use you, right, your name, your brand, because as you're doing this, you know what? As you're shooting videos, you know, as you're talking about one thing over and over and over and over again and over again, you're delivering value and you're doing the triangle of trust, which I'm going to show you here a little bit later on tonight, right? As you're getting credibility, right, as you're sharing similar experiences like you had to go through, you know what, your struggles right now, my friend, can be your best asset later, alright?

Alright, you will not have affinity if everything is green, you know, is, you know, red roses for you, right? If everything is in pink colors for you, right, if, you know, if I would not have to struggle in the beginning, I would not have affinity with my people, alright? I would not be able to share similar experiences with them. I would not know how they feel when they go through turbulence in life, right?

But because I went through turbulence, lots of it. In my personal life, right, I have this thing called affinity, right? I can talk about it and I understand how they feel and I'm actually going to come back to it because there's actually a very deep psychological process that you can actually deploy and thing that you can do with people that will actually help them, it will elevate them, it will inspire them, and at the same time, they will see you as a celebrity, okay, and they'll be very familiar with you. Okay.

There's a few more things, okay? Frequency. Okay. There's frequency.

How many times do you mail your list? And, you know, this is one of those things that I'm not going to give you the right or wrong answer on that or advice, okay, give me one sec here. But I can share with you guys what's working for me, okay? Again, you just have to try it for yourself.

See if it works for you, okay? Frequency for me means… People think that, you know, again, they have to slam their list every day or twice a day or 20 times a day, right? Well, if you do that, I think you're going to burn your list.

I really do. Even if you're sending them the best, most awesome information in the world, okay, if I would send you, if I would email you, you know, five times a day and my information was the most awesome information ever, okay? You would probably open my emails for about maybe three, four days, okay? And then you get too familiar, you get complacent, right?

Each one of these things, there is a borderline. There is… You don't overdo it, okay? If you have too much authority, people don't resonate with you.

If you have, you know, if your story is way out of whack, right, people will not resonate with you. If your credibility is just over the top, people don't resonate with you, okay? If you're too frequent with your list, people will step back. I want my marketing to be pool marketing, okay?

I want my marketing to be, you know what? If I don't email my list, I want them to send me emails and say, hey, you still there? You know, I didn't get your email, right? Here's something else.

I want to engineer. Guys, I'm going to show you how to do that. I'm going to give you specific… Okay.

…direction of what's working for me that you can model after, okay? With this thing called frequency, I want to keep my list, all right? I want to keep them waiting. There is a way for you to engineer that, okay?

How many of you guys saw some of the Facebook posts that I showed with the, you know, like, you know, like, you know, like, you know, like, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, I mean, you know, like the screen shots of my GetResponse account, right, showing my open rates and things like that. Why do I show you that? I show you that not to say that I'm somebody special. I show you that because this stuff works, all right.

And for those of you guys who have been seeing that stuff on Facebook — I've been posting, right? — I deliberately wanted to plant those seeds for this training, all right? Because… Tonight — see? — to get a, you know a… you know, in 70% or 80% open rate, okay, on my emails, on my, you know, when I send out an email to get, you know, I get sometimes as high as 90% open rate on some of my emails.

And they're not like tiny lists. They're like thousands of people, okay? How do you engineer that? You be deliberate with this stuff.

And with frequency for me is this. When I send out an email, okay, we're going to come back to that. It's, you know, it's the, I'm going to show you guys a thing called triangle of trust. But when I send out an email, okay, I want to be, I want to know what people are going through.

I want to know what their problems are, okay? And I do that through things like surveys and things like that. But I want to know who I'm dealing with, okay, on my list. So once I know that, I give them one thing.

Guys, if you can, if there is one thing that you want to do, I want to do it. I want to do it. I want to do it. one thing I'm going to tell you that will probably take your business to the next level very very quickly okay and that would be keep your communications simple okay don't overwhelm your prospects don't overwhelm your customers don't overwhelm your followers okay I want to give them one thing if you can give them one thing something that they want okay it's like going to the restaurant to really really really good restaurant okay and they bring you a sample like an appetizer like a sample little thing right it's it's small and you're really really hungry okay when when they get on your list man they're hungry they're not getting on your list just because they got nothing else to do when they get on your list they are hungry they are looking for a solution okay you find out what they want you give them a little sample okay in your emails make it really really good when I show you guys how I do it personally okay and then what happens is you condition your followers you condition your list to look for your next piece of content to come out I personally email my list very very sporadically okay I don't I don't have like a set every single day because why I don't want to get I don't want to get the complacent with me okay I don't want them to think like well okay I'm gonna wake up tomorrow check my email at 10 o'clock in the morning and there's gonna be an email from Vic like clockwork now I don't want to do that I want I want to condition them again this might work for you this might not work for you I'm just sharing guys this is this is my you know opening my business you know kind of taking you behind how I behind the curtain of how I run my business okay I want to create a certain amount of mystery okay a certain amount of you know what an authority okay a celebrity is somebody who is not easily approached okay if you want to guys I'm gonna I'm gonna just share some ideas with you and it might not be applicable to you right away if you are just getting started but if you are at the you know if you're at the like five to ten thousand to twenty thousand income level it's gonna be super easy for you to take it up and and just triple your income okay very very easy very easy process you want to become more scarce okay you cannot you cannot call Donald Trump and get him on the phone anytime you want no way okay how easy is that for you to approach a celebrity you know a movie star somebody who is it's not it's not easy to approach a celebrity okay so you want to become right it's actually very very difficult how can you apply that in your business to an extent I'm not saying that you know to be unapproachable at all okay what I'm saying is if you can create a little mystery in your business little little mystery around your brand around who you are okay a I want to I want to find out what they want okay I'm going to show you how to do that B I want to give them kids you know really really good stuff for that to happen I need to up my game personally that make sense I need to be the best version I need to be on the edge right personally I need to be sharp I need to be enthusiastic I need to know what I'm talking about okay for that to happen you need to learn stuff every single day you need to read every single day you need to listen to two audios every single day you need to do stuff that we have been talking about up to this point every single day non-stop not even on Sundays not even Saturday it's a daily process if you want to be in the top 2% of category of income earners if you want to be a celebrity authority in this marketplace if you want to wake up in the morning and you know what you have people that you can email to okay and if it's something you believe in if it's something that's going to be good for them you send one email and you make twenty thirty forty fifty thousand dollars in from just one email if you want to engineer that it is you need to do this stuff every single day you need to be the best version of yourself every single day ok and so that when you send your your emails to your list they will perceive you as an authority figure they'll perceive you as a celebrity and they'll feel like they know you they will love your stuff but yet you're gonna have this this little aura around yourself to work you know you're not going to be available to end you to talk to anybody on the phone and you you're not going to be available to talk to anybody who's got you know you know who wants who just want to talk to you okay they have to jump through hoops to get to you again it's it's very very advanced strategic stuff we may actually talk about that a little bit later um let's see okay so I'm just gonna write this okay there's there's something else that you can also do okay really really powerful is endorsements okay and this is I'm talking about third party endorsements okay people who are either your customers or your opt-ins okay I learned this early on in my business if I come to you and I say my stuff is awesome okay you say okay great if somebody else okay comes to you and says hey Vic's stuff is awesome you'll say okay cool right if another person comes to you and says hey Vic's stuff is awesome you should really check it out okay that will get your attention wouldn't if ten people come to you and they say hey his stuff is awesome you ought to check it out okay you'll probably go and check it out make sense endorsements how can you engineer that in your business very very easy okay and you don't have to make money you don't have to have customers to get endorsements if you have this see you will learn how to get this I'm gonna show you how to nurture your list the right way okay you'll be able to get endorsements from your opt-ins make sense and what you're gonna do is you're gonna collect those and then you're gonna sporadically you're gonna you're gonna plant the seeds okay plant the seeds anytime you want okay again this is advanced stuff guys but endorsements again think about it these are ideas for you to think about if you can implement two three four five of these great if you can implement all of these you can implement all of these right if you can deliberately focus on implementing all of these ideas in your business man you are going to be unstoppable okay moving on this is a this is a big one demonstration okay hmm when you talk when you tell when you tell somebody something okay it's one thing it's perceived you know from from a single a certain angle okay when you demonstrate something to somebody and and your demonstration is is you know it just it's punchy okay you will have trust and you will have you will have authority okay over what you're doing okay let me give you an example guys there is you know I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys are familiar with companies like you know the vacuum cleaners right the rainbow and there is like dolphins and there is Kirby I guess there is there is all kinds of different vacuum cleaners right there is a lot of vacuum cleaners right and these guys are walking around you know door-to-door scheduling appointments and and you know and and you know and and what they're doing is they're just saying hey I'm gonna demonstrate I'm gonna clean one room for you okay for free okay so they get into the door with just cleaning your your room for free then what they do is they demonstrate their vacuum don't they okay they demonstrate their vacuum and then some of them just go to to the extremes as you know like crazy it's up and then we bought you know this it's rainbow vacuum oh you know a while back and you know and and the lady came to our house she's let you know she she's like hey you know let me let me let me show you the difference she she got the regular vacuum that we had and then she vacuumed the you know the the carpet or you know that the floor and then she's like okay this this looks good right yeah you know those good and then she took her you know rainbow her super duper vacuum and then she you know and it's a water filtration and then she vacuumed over this over the same spot and the water is all dirty she's like see all right that was all I needed to see boom sale all right on a spot demonstration is very very powerful how can you demonstrate what can you demonstrate in your business that would that would solve a problem that you're up then your your person your your follower is having okay for example for example okay as at the time of us recording this video right now you know if you're watching this recording then obviously you know at the time of me recording this for you you know we're about to launch internet traffic formula okay and guess what we can talk about internet traffic formula how awesome it is we can talk about you know hey you can generate traffic and it's possible and this and this and this all day long until we're blue in the face that's what everybody else is doing out there okay a better way you guys will see this a better way to do this would be do a simple demonstration wouldn't it okay so what if I come to you and I say look you're struggling with traffic let me show you something check this out I'm gonna start this campaign all right right in front of your eyes I'm gonna send I don't know 20,000 clicks 40 50 thousand clicks within about 40 24 48 hours okay I'm gonna get about 30 40 percent up to rate on that and build my list just like that into thousands and thousands of people okay and then I demonstrate to you the what okay check this out I demonstrate to you the what keyword here is what okay and then I sell to you the how huh you like that I mean let me know let me know guys this stuff is making sense to you okay I'm actually curious if this stuff is making sense to you guys.

You demonstrate the what and you sell the how. And a good example would be for you guys to really look at the launch of Internet Traffic Formula. How are we going to do that? We're going to use this particular piece of trust creation in launching Internet Traffic Formula.

How can you implement these in your business? Think about it. Everybody wrote it down? Because I'm going to erase it.

I'll give you guys a second here. Okay. Cool. Give me one second.

I'm actually going to go ahead and erase this. And then we're going to talk about something also really, really cool. How can you put all this stuff together? Okay.

All right. So what you're doing essentially, here is the idea guys. Before I actually erase this. The idea is for you to build authority.

Right here. This right here is what you're after. You build authority by combining some of these pieces below. Authority is where you really want to be actually, is what you want to gain, right?

But you do all these other stuff to help you build trust. And at the same time, as you're building trust, you are creating authority. Okay? One second.

Okay. Cool. It's making sense. Okay.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Just checking out some comments here.

Cool. I want to make sure you guys are with me. Okay. Cool stuff.

So we can move on. Here is why this stuff is important. Okay guys? If you can picture this.

Think with me. Think logically. Okay? Let's put that away from our businesses.

Okay? We all want to create unbelievable businesses and that's good. Okay? We all want to sell lots of stuff that's good.

But let's take a look at the sales industry as a whole. Okay? In general. If you step back, okay, and if you just pay attention, people in our world nowadays, okay, they not only distrust salespeople anymore.

They distrust, a lot of them, unfortunately, okay, they distrust themselves. How? When you are marketing to somebody, okay, when you sit down in front of somebody, when you are presenting your idea, when you're presenting your opportunity, when you're presenting your product, okay, whatever, when people are listening to you, when people are watching your videos, okay, pay attention because this is why this stuff is important for you to implement in your business. Okay?

As people read your emails, as people watch your stuff, okay, a lot of them, not only do they distrust you as a marketer because they have been burned, right, before, and it's natural for people to distrust salespeople. Okay? There is obviously, you know, you've got something that you want to sell and people don't want to be sold to, okay, but people, a lot of them, distrust themselves because they, you know, once… Previously in their life, right, they trusted their intuition, they trusted themselves, and they got into something that later turned to be, you know, a lot of pain for them, right?

You know, maybe they got into a relationship that, you know, they regretted later. You know, they bought something that, you know, screwed them over. I mean, they trusted themselves enough, right, to get into something and then that didn't turn out well, right? So a lot of people… It's like a scale, okay?

Picture this, okay? This will be beneficial for you guys, okay? It's like a scale, okay? It's like a lever, if you will, alright?

See, I'm going to demonstrate to you my artistic skills here, alright? Okay? On one side, you have the distrust. This is what… this is the people, this is the side that your customers are, okay, your prospects are.

They have all, right, subconsciously, this happens all subconsciously, okay, and sometimes even consciously. People think, right, and they feel how they felt, you know, when they got burned, okay? Bad experiences, you know, lost money, all the, you know, all their, you know, that self-talk, right? I did not do this.

This is not for me. I tried it before. I don't know. This probably is not going to work.

You know, what if I fail? All this baggage, all this, you know, all this distrust type stuff on this side, okay? You as a marketer, you need to have enough, okay, trust… we'll just say trust and influence, okay? You need to have enough trust and influence on your side.

And you do that, you know, through the stuff that we just, that I just erased, right? Authority, you know, affinity, credibility, all that, all that stuff that you can, that you can create in your marketing, in your business, and these are like your bullets. These are like your assets in your business, you know what makes sense? So you put all that on this one side and you do this, you, boom, you demonstrate.

You do credibility. You do this, this, this, this, and you overcome, you literally, you have more weight on this side right here than they have in there. And they're conscious or subconscious over here, so you overweight them, okay? Does that make sense?

This is just metaphor, metaphorically speaking here obviously, but I hope that this stuff is making sense to you guys. That's why that stuff is important, okay? Now how do you do this in a way that, you know, you talk to them logically and you connect with them emotionally and you influence them on a subconscious level? You cannot influence somebody, I mean, I guess you can, you know, you can influence people on a conscious level.

You learn how to influence people on their subconscious level, man, you got it, all right? It's going to be over, okay? It's going to be over. So what, one of the things that you guys may want to do is, maybe this is going to be one of your assignments today.

Hold on one second, I got my, somebody's texting me, okay, cool. Write this down, positive power of negative preparation, okay? Positive power of negative preparation. What you're going to do is.

Think about your prospect, okay? Think about your prospect and think of all the possible objections that they may have in their mind when they see your stuff, okay? Maybe it didn't work for, you know, for somebody else, maybe I don't know if it's going to work for me, I've tried similar things before, I'm not sure, you know, every single possible objection or negative thought or negative emotion. What you're going to do is, you're going to write down all the things that your prospect can potentially have on this side, okay?

You write it down, okay? And then you create right next to it, you create one or two positive trust and influence, what's the word I'm looking for, pieces, right, that you can overcome that with, okay? And it's called positive power of negative preparation, okay? So, you literally, you anticipate what could, what could they be thinking, okay?

And how, you know, and what can you have in your arsenal, if you will, right? And I mean this, you know, in a good positive way, obviously, that you can influence them for the better. Okay, so, here is one of the things that I was practicing in my business a lot that worked really, really, really, really well. And actually, just recently, just a couple of days ago.

I, I also did a little, a little deployment of this little strategy and it worked really, really well, really well, okay guys? This goes under the radar of people's negative emotions, okay? And this is how you can literally sell without selling and be, and at the same time, you, you know, you build credibility, you build authority, you build friendship, you know, you build affinity, you, you, you do all those trust factors and trust pieces, right? And you can actually compress them and when you compress them, man, big things happen.

So, I taught this on one of the, on one of the previous trainings that I did, okay? There is, there is a couple of different things that you guys can do that will work really, really well. And, and none of this stuff is mine originally, I didn't come up with this originally. I actually learned this from people who are very, very successful in this industry.

And I was a good student, right? And I implemented a lot. I did a lot of this stuff. And I also, you know, I also try to perfect stuff, you know.

I also want to, you know, I want to put my own twist on it. I want to put my own ideas on it and see how it's going to work for me, right? I want to put my own personality into this stuff. Because you know what?

You probably will not have the same personality as Vic has, right? You are unique and so you need to find your own style, right? Again, I don't want to resonate and, and, and kind of be, I don't want everybody to resonate with me, right? I don't want to please everybody.

Because there is no possible way that I can please everybody, right? But I want to be influencing, right, people who decided to follow me, okay? There's going to be a group of people that will resonate with you, with your style, with your personality. And those are the people who will build your business, okay, and your, and your vision.

But here's the thing, okay? This is called the Triangle. This is the Triangle of Trust, okay? You are getting traffic to your opt-ins.

You're getting traffic to your landing page, rather, and then when they opt-in, they become, you know, they get on your list, okay? Perfect. Makes sense. So, you are collecting, you know, emails, okay?

What this is, this is how my diagram works, okay? When somebody, when somebody got on my list, okay, again, guys, this is just, don't take this. This is what I say when I say this, you know, because I know there's, there's going to be hundreds of people after watching this, you know, they'll do exactly what I told them and that's okay. But I want you to, I want you to put this and tweak this to your own liking, okay?

Because again, this is what works for me. You have to put it to the test and see if it's going to work for you as well, okay? Put your own personality into it. When somebody opted into my list, okay, naturally they will, they will be redirected to some kind of, you know, some kind of thank you page, you know?

Some kind of offer or whatever, okay? It might be a video, you know, it might be just my video saying, hey, thanks for opting into my list, you know, check your email, whatever, some kind of thank you page, okay? Or a sales page for that matter, okay? Then my autoresponder is going to kick in, right?

First email is generally, okay, well, let me do a little bit better for you because I don't like this drawing, all right? First email will generally reinforce this thank you page, okay? So if it's a sales letter, it will generally say, hey, just want to make sure that you got this, blah, blah, blah, check this out, okay? Whatever they opted in for, okay?

Second email, I will give them some kind of, some kind of, hey, let's connect, you know, this is who I am, how's it going? Short, sweet. Just kind of like a letter to a friend, okay? Give them maybe one tip.

If they opted in for a specific thing here, maybe keep it related to this but no pitches, okay? No pitch here. Just a personal contact. Maybe I'll say, hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm here for you, okay?

And this is some of the things that I was able to accomplish. Again, again, did you catch it? Okay, some of the things I was able to accomplish, okay? Affinity, credibility, credibility, right away, subconsciously, right?

Not like, look at me, how great I am, you know? And I don't know about you but I got started in this industry eight years ago from the bottom and I understand what it's like to not have $1.19 to your name, you know? I might actually do a video or a personal email or something like that, you know? Again, affinity, right?

Affinity. Sharing your similar experiences. Again, this is all psychological, subconscious. Okay?

This is, you know, under the radar type stuff that resonates and influences people on a deeper level. But you're not selling anything here. You know what most marketers are doing? Is they're going to slam the list with an offer here, slam them with an offer, slam them with, hey, buy this, hey, buy this, hey, buy this, and for the first 15 or 20 days they're just buy, buy, buy, buy, okay?

No wonder their email open rates are going like that, going down, okay? My email open rates go like that, okay? They're going up. Then one thing that I want to make sure that I have in my email follow-up series is some kind of survey, okay?

I say, hey, I'm working on this awesome training, okay? Again, awesome training. What is it telling them? What you're really saying is, hey, I'm an expert, don't you?

You're working on a training, okay? You're an expert. You want to, you want to start crafting, you want to plant those seeds of authority, credibility, celebrity. Okay?

Affinity. Affinity. All this stuff. Hope you guys have been taking notes, right?

All this stuff that we have been talking about here, you plant those seeds, a little bit here, a little bit here, one thing here, one thing there, and everything is working for you, right? Everything is working in building you up as a marketer, your brand, your image. Making sense? Okay?

All right. So, okay, I just want to make sure that we're still live here, make sure I don't talk to my computer. Okay? All right.

So, what I do here is I say, hey, I'm working on this cool training for you. I'm going to send it to you for free, no strings attached, there's going to be nothing to buy. I just want to say thank you for being my subscriber. Again, thank you for being my subscriber.

What you're doing here is you're removing their objection because they're coming into your list maybe like that, okay? What is this guy going to sell me? You know, whatever you promised them here, but chances are they don't want to receive your emails because they got everybody in the marketplace is slamming them with everything, all day long, right? They're getting bombarded with emails and here you are.

You want to be perceived different. You want to be perceived as, you know, you want to remove that objection that they have subconsciously over here, right? The level that I showed you and you want to get a step closer to your prospect, a step closer. Okay?

Again, all on a subconscious level and I say, hey, I want to know what you need help with. Okay? Okay. Some of the things that I'm really good at and some of the things that I believe I can help you.

Another cool little nugget I'm going to give you guys and that is, you know, the three factors of creating trust, right? Three key factors. Number one was being blunt, right, about your stuff, okay? Telling the truth.

When I got started in the industry, I was learning from some people. And this is before I understood this game and before I, you know, started to make money. Before I came across genuine, real mentors in my career. I saw so many people just flat out, you know, lying to their prospects.

Just manipulating, just telling them what they want to hear, you know, that kind of stuff. And just promising, just saying, hey, you know, there is…I mean, there's a lot of people. I mean, you're going to be rich. Just get this thing right here.

You know, this is it. You know, I'm making $20,000 per month even though they're on welfare. You know, they don't have two nickels to rub together. You know, I am making $20,000 a month and they're hiding behind screenshots, you know, that they got from the internet somewhere, okay?

Not even their own. And all that garbage, okay? What I want to do is I want to say, hey, here are some of the things that I was able to accomplish, okay? And I don't know if it's going to work for you, honestly.

But I hope this works for you, okay? Hope this works for you. Yeah, maybe you can model this. Just kind of be like, you know, like you're talking to a friend, right?

You're not being pushy. Sometimes when you are pushy with your free stuff, you will repel people, okay? You don't want to repel people. You want to attract people.

And the way you attract people is you step back. When you step back, they come closer to you, okay? Make sense? When you are pushing, they're resisting.

When you pull back, they'll come closer to you, okay? Hope this makes sense to you guys. I want to be, I want to kind of, I want to step back. I want them to come to me instead of me pushing them, okay?

In my marketing, I don't want to be this guy who is a pushy salesman and a pushy marketer, okay? I want them to look for my next email. I don't want my transaction to end here, okay? I want my, I want this right here, okay?

I want customer, I don't want just sales. I want customers and fans and how do you do that is you're being strategic about how you run and you position your business, okay guys? I'm going to say, hey, I'm not sure if it's going to work for you. It works for me really, really well.

In fact, check this out and I can show, you know, whatever, if you've got opt-ins to show them, you know, if you know how to get traffic, which you will all know, right? You will all have internet traffic formula. And if you don't have that. Yeah.

Yeah. I don't know what you're thinking. I don't know what you're doing here. You need to get internet traffic formula.

If you're watching this, there's no possible way that you can build this business and do what I'm showing you, you know, if you don't understand this first component which is going to be taken care of for you in, you know, internet traffic formula. So here's the deal, if you don't have it, get it, all right? But see, you're learning this and they're just starting out and I promise you a lot of people don't understand this. This is very, very basic stuff.

How to get traffic. You say, hey, look, I was able to generate traffic, right? I was able to get, you know, 500, 1,000, 1,500 people to my website just, you know, yesterday alone. In fact, check this out.

You show them proof. Again, planting seeds, right? You're showing them credibility. Again, I don't know if it's going to work for you.

I want to show you how I did what I did. But I would like to know what you need help with, okay? So what you're doing is, again, under the radar. Totally under the radar.

You just got a step closer to them and you open them up to, you know, you just open the line of communication with your list, okay? And so what I do is I go to SurveyMonkey, okay, SurveyMonkey.com, get yourself a free account and you, you know, ask them three questions. Hey, how much money are you earning right now? You know, where would you like, what's your goal, right?

And what's the number one thing that prevents you from reaching that goal? What's your number one problem that you're, you know, experiencing right now? And maybe you can add another question, what's the second biggest thing or the second biggest challenge, right? Or whatever.

Again, I don't want to give you guys specific words to say, you know, because I know there's going to be thousands of people sending out the exact same emails. I want you to think about this yourself. I want you to put your own personality into it, okay? So basically what you're doing is keep it very short, keep it very, very friendly, okay?

Keep it very low key and with an attitude. Here's the thing. When I email my list, my attitude is this. I'm not attached to the outcome at all.

I don't care what they do, okay? I want to help them, alright? I, you know, I'm there to help them but I'm not attached to the outcome. I'm not attached, I'm not going to be this desperate guy, oh my God, please, you know, please click my emails.

I don't care. I'm detached and here's what I found, if you detach yourself from the outcome in your business, abundance will start flowing in your business, okay? It's just how it is. I don't know why.

I don't know how it works but it just, you know, I say, hey, let me know, okay? And so this is, because this is one of the follow-up sequences, okay, as my new traffic comes in through my funnel, my new opt-ins and everybody goes through the same process, over time you will have a really, really good idea of what your list wants. You will know what their problems are. Okay?

You will know how much money they're earning, right? And here's what I do is I say, hey, how much money are you earning right now, right? Tell me so I can craft my training to really help you, okay? And just give them some options, you know, zero to a hundred dollars a month, a hundred to a thousand dollars a month and just give them a few options to choose from.

Let them choose the best option, right? Second question, where would you like to be at, what's your goal, right? Tell them what they want, you know, give them some options, let them tell you, okay? What's preventing you?

Here's the kicker. Here's the kicker, in what's preventing you or what's your biggest challenge, what you need help with, in the answers, you don't say something that you cannot deliver on. That would be stupid, wouldn't it, right? That would be silly.

You give them answers that you can deliver on and you can train them on or you can give them tips on. Make sense? I promise you, if you say, hey, traffic, okay, I need to learn how to get traffic or my biggest problem is traffic generation, which I surveyed thousands of people. Number one problem people are having is this right here, right?

Number two, you know, maybe you can say, well, you know, conversions, how to convert traffic into sales or maybe how to earn my first $100 on the internet or something like that, right? Something you can deliver on and because you are a smart marketer, right? Because you're learning this stuff and you understand, you don't need to know a lot. You just need to know a little bit, right?

You just need to know enough to give them one tip. Give them one idea, okay? And they will go, wow, thank you. And all of a sudden, you just shot to the top in their perception.

And here's the thing, guys. Perception is reality. Okay? If they perceive you as an expert, even if you're just getting started, man, if you just got, you know, internet traffic formula and you learned one strategy to get a hundred applicants to your list, if you can share that one strategy, all of a sudden, you are an expert in their eyes.

Does that make sense? All of a sudden. You just stepped up on that authority, you know, ladder. Just a step higher.

Does that make sense? So again, guys, very, very strategic stuff. Then what you do is you deliver your content. Here is the best way I found, okay?

I used to do this before I, you know, before I started to blog. You know, I used to do this through, you know, well, you can do this through webinars, right? You can do this through, you know, just email. But I found the best way, okay?

The best way is to do a live event, if you can, all right, again, if you're comfortable with doing a hangout or a live webinar or a teleconference and just kind of teach people what you know, right, great. Another really, really cool method is, all right, you email your list, okay? You say, hey, I just put a video, okay? I just put a video on my blog, okay?

I just put a video on my blog that shows you how to do, boom, one tip, okay? See, you can have your follow-up sequences pre-made for the first, I don't know, 10 days or something like that, you know, 15, 30 days, however you like. And then you'll get to the point to where, you know, you don't want your follow-ups to go for the entire year, all right? You just want to build, you know, that influence with your list.

Right? Authority, you want to step closer to them. And then, it's all about broadcasts, okay? It's all about broadcasts, okay?

Then, you know, people who are at the end of this right here, you'll just send them an email just saying, hey, you know, you put up a new piece of content, you know what they want, right? They told you here in the survey and your survey always gets updated, you know, new people are coming in and so you're accumulating those answers overall and you're giving them one tip on your blog. Here's one tip. I actually, you know, a couple of days ago, I put up a video.

I put up a video on my blog, just like one tip. I was just in Miami, just walking on the beach and just, you know, interviewed one guy. And you know, we talked about it and I thought, well, you know, pretty cool thing. Why don't I try something?

At the end of the video, why don't I just say, hey, if you want to be on my team, click here. Simple, okay? That's all. That's all the call to action.

I did not talk about join my team in the video, nothing. It was basically value video based on what my marketplace wanted, what my followers are looking for, right? Which is how do I make money? How do I just get started in this thing?

How do I, you know, simple stuff that we all understand. At the end of the video, I just said, hey, why don't you join my team? Click here. Got sign-ups.

All right? Just from that. This is the kind of stuff that like in the, when I would engineer a webinar, see what you do is you deliver, right? All the people want.

Right? All the people want. And then at the end, what you can do here is you can give them one tip. If you're going to do a Google Hangout, if you're going to do a webinar training, you give them one.

Here's what I like to do. In my videos, in my trainings, in my, you know, conference calls that I do, live events, whatever. I want to do three things. Number one is I want to inspire people, okay?

I want to open their eyes to possibilities. Number two is I want to give them one tip, okay? One tip. Number three is I want to give them a call to action, okay?

And a call to action can be, hey, if you like what I showed you here, get a, you know, join my team or buy this thing, you know, and I'll give you this little bonus, right? I found that specific time frames work really, really well with people. Again, guys, this is the kind of stuff we're going to be talking about in conversions. Again, Internet Traffic Formula is not just about traffic.

It's about traffic and conversions. So part of the conversions process is getting people to do conversions. So part of the conversions process is getting people to do conversions. So part of the conversions process is getting people to do conversions.

Again, subtle little things that you can, you know, do in your marketing that cause people to convert. Either, you know, traffic to opt-ins, opt-ins to sales, sales to fans, all right? There's a way to do that. So, guys, actually, let me know.

We're going to, there's a whole bunch of stuff that we can, you know, talk about. We've been going on here for about 90 minutes. We'll do a bonus webinar for you guys. Okay.

overwhelm you is this stuff making sense if you can let me know in the comments below real quick if this stuff is making sense to you so far all right and if you have questions write them down jot them down and and and I'll be I'll jump on on a bonus webinar and we'll do you know Q&A type stuff okay but folks when you do this it might take you a day it might take you a week I don't know okay but it's worth it I'm telling you sit down all right sit down and and and and just diagram your business just just figure out how do you want people to perceive you okay what do you want to be known for what do you what do you want to be known as all right in the marketplace right what kind of value can you provide you and most important thing is what can you do in your business to build trust with your subscriber okay what are some things that you can do how can you implement all those those trust you know little pieces okay that would you know how many of those pieces can you implement hopefully guide took notes how many of those pieces and how can you implement them how can you deploy them in your marketing okay that would that would position you as a an authority figure in your marketplace guys when you do that when you see what we've been talking about so far is we've been focusing a lot on developing you okay and guys none of that stuff is going to matter if you don't develop yourself for you to give something you have to be something that make sense so so you never stop developing yourself okay you'll never stop developing yourself so But as you're developing yourself, you're doing that, it's over, all right?

I mean, you're unstoppable, okay? This industry is your sandbox, and you decide what you want to do, what kind of money you want to make. And see, the most important thing is you do this kind of stuff, your people will become customers, and they'll become fans because nobody else or very, very few other people understand this, and actually even fewer of them actually do this kind of stuff, okay? Guys, this is how I build my business.

This is what I implement, okay? It works really, really, really well, okay, personally for me. So I suggest you guys, okay, you guys liking this? Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.

I see a lot of cool comments here. Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice. Awesome. I appreciate you guys.

Thank you for the comments. I feel better now, so I don't feel like I'm just talking to a screen here. All right, cool stuff. Here's your homework, all right?

Hopefully you took notes. If you didn't, you can watch this recording again, all right? Figure out what you're going to be implementing first. The best thing you can do is, one of the best things you can do is get comfortable with being on video, okay?

Get comfortable. Forget about going on. Forget about sitting in the computer all day. And you can do that, you know, you can be comfortable with being on video all day.

Get comfortable, get comfortable, get comfortable. You can be a little aggressive. You can be a little aggressive, you can be a little aggressive. Many of the days guys, where you can just, I guess you can still do that, you know, hide behind a computer screen and things like that.

You are unique. You have unique abilities. You have your personality. You have a story.

You have, you know, a voice. You have something that, you can make a difference in somebody's life. You understand that? You can make a difference in somebody's life.

Listen. If I did not study this stuff, I'm privileged to be able to influence positively literally thousands of people by now over the years for the better. I don't know where would I be today if I didn't say to myself, you know what, I'm going to study this stuff. I'm going to make this work and this is going to happen for me no matter what.

There is no plan B. I'm going to do this or I'm going to die trying and if somebody else can do that, if Vic can do that, if that guy can do that, if that guy can do that, I can do that and that's it. You're not inferior to anybody else. We're all essentially the same.

We all have the same abilities. Sometimes we need to develop those abilities. Sometimes we need to develop those skills. This stuff is learnable.

This stuff is something that you can all engineer. That's the cool part. That's the cool part about it. So folks, with that being said, I appreciate you all.

Tomorrow we're going to talk about the big promotion. The big promotion and I'm just going to share with you how I engineered a $700,000 my first month income within Empower Network. Everything that I covered so far. Up to this point including first, last, second, third, fourth and now this is fifth.

All of this stuff played a big major role in my engineering of that first promotion within Empower Network that resulted in over $700,000 in three weeks. It doesn't happen by accident but the cool thing is now you know, don't you? Now you have an idea, now you have a plan to follow in your business that six months or whatever. Right?

You're on the road. When you start mastering, when you start implementing this stuff, you'll be able to engineer, you'll be able to put together your own big promotions and do big launches if you want within this company or within whatever else you're doing out there. It's totally, totally possible. But all these pieces need to be in place.

We're going to talk about that tomorrow. Guys, I appreciate you all. Thank you. I'll see you guys around.

All right. Bye.

I'm going to be like, I'm talking and talking and talking to a computer with no feedback, and nobody could hear me.

For you to be able to — I don't believe in business to where you have to depend on somebody or you know, on some kind of system. I believe in business where you get to decide how much money you make, where you get to decide what you want your business to look like, where you get to actually decide where do you want to live, how you want to run your business, and you can actually run your business on your terms.

You don't create customers first. Everybody wants to make sales.

Traffic will never be an issue for you as a marketer.

This is where most of our community members should never be — and when I say community members, I'm talking about the internet marketing community, this space of ours. This is where most people stop. If you wanted to do that, if you attach these two at the end, you'll be able to do that any time. If you want to wake up in the morning, some of you guys are wondering how do I win contests and things like that.

How do you step in the game, how do you step into whatever, promotion or contest or whatever it is that's going on out there.

This is what I believe: that if we're moving forward in my business, I want to create equity in my business. Equity is something that will pay, over and over and over again, for a very long time. If you focus on that, this is essentially what we're going to do for the rest of the training.

We're going to focus on how to create customers, not just sales.

And so, yeah, I'm going to teach you how to do that, okay, if you guys are taking notes.

And what I see in Donald Trump that's something I can take for my business, and certainly something I'm doing, right, is that guy is a blunt teller of truth.

So that in itself tells you something, but on top of that, when he's building his business, he doesn't take — I mean, he doesn't pull any punches, okay?

And I got enough traffic to build over 50,000 opt-ins, okay, in about two weeks, okay, just testing some ideas. So, trust me, this part right here, you will never have to worry about it, okay, it's going to be there.

In fact, some of the traffic sources you guys will be learning in Internet Traffic Formula, excuse me, you know, I will show you, you know, where I go to get my traffic to, you know, to get my opt-ins at a rate of up to 60%, okay, with cold traffic. It's not an issue. Your marketing begins when people get on your list, okay. So as people get on your list, they are probably on other people's lists, okay. And so how you treat them in the beginning, what you promote to them as a marketer, okay, if you are selling to them anything to make a buck, I see so many people out there, they're promoting, you know, all kinds of garbage, okay, just garbage, man, just garbage, pure garbage.

And they're slamming their list, and they're, you know, one day is this offer, another day is another offer, third day is something else, and then fifth day they're just, you know, pitching the same recycled offer again.

There is no — I come from that world, guys, I know, okay.

Here is a principle that I'm building my business on.

So, please pay attention, okay. If this stuff seems like basic stuff, it is.

It is basic stuff. But let me ask you this. Are you doing it, okay, or how are you doing it, is the better question? But my stake in the ground —

I'm going to share it with you: is if I don't own it, if I haven't tried it, I will never ever recommend it to somebody else, especially to my list. When people call me on the phone, sometimes they track my phone number, I don't know even how, and I was just talking just another day to somebody and he was saying, hey Vic, I got $25, just cracked my last $25 I could find. Can I be successful getting in at my last $25? You know what I told him? I said, no, you can't.

It's not going to happen. Tell people what they need to hear. Don't tell people what they want to hear. If you tell them, yeah, just get in, whatever, take your last bread money and just get in, you're going to be rich tomorrow.

What you're doing is you are setting yourself up for failure. You will never have a customer or fan for life. Never abuse your customers, that goes without saying. What I actually want to do is, you know what, give me one sec here, let me do this. There's something I want to show you guys here that's pretty cool.

I will help you. I really hope that this stuff, when you guys are... when we finish here tonight, okay, you will have a good idea of what to do because I know some of you guys have been emailing, contacting me and sending me emails and you're like Vic, you know I need help, I'm trying to build my business, what do I do, how do I get started, all that good stuff. So I wanted to kind of package this together tonight and just really give you a clear path. Okay.

So. Here is... Okay. Here is something that, you know, again, if you're taking notes, okay, this is one of the principles that I build my business on, okay. I have been married for over nine years.

It will be our 10 year anniversary here this year, okay. I got married when I was 20 years old, believe it or not, okay. And I'm not sure, you know, how many of you guys are married and how many of you guys are on your, you know, second, third, fourth, maybe fifth marriage, I don't know, okay.

This is my first marriage and I intend that to be for the rest of my life, okay. Here is how I build my business, okay. I look at my business as a marriage, okay. Here is a question for you, okay.

Your mind will start to take a little bit of a different direction, you know, as you're building your business. So how can you make money today and how can you get customers today, at the same time, create an equity, okay, create value, create trust today, okay, at the same time. Does that make sense?

So when I think about that, and I, you know, initially when I was learning from people like Dan Kennedy and still do, you know, if you guys, you know, give him a plug, he's an awesome marketer, okay. When you have a chance to get around his stuff, I recommend you check him out, okay. But here are the — here are some of the things that create — actually I'm just going to keep this because we're going to reference it back, okay. Here are some things, guys, that create trust in your business. Here are some things that create equity in your business, okay.

I hope you will take these down. I hope you will write these down and I hope you will, after tonight, you will start to think about each one of those and how can you implement it in your business, because in doing that, you will start to create trust in your market. Okay, this stuff is engineerable. This stuff is creatable. This stuff is, you know, you can actually manufacture this.

You don't have to be, you know, a born inspirator. You don't have to be a born, you know, motivator. You don't have to be born, you know, with some special abilities or special skills. All of this stuff... I had somebody call me the other day and they're like, Vic, I am just... this is just the way I am.

They taught animals, right?

Okay, when he enters the room, there is an authority, there is a certain presence, right?

Okay. We had, you know, a 10K Challenge Winners Retreat in Miami the other day and there was a gentleman, okay, he can barely speak English. I actually, you know, there was an interview on my blog about that.

But he started out with 60 opt-ins on his list, 60 people on his list, okay? He started out with 60 people on his list and he was able to scale that up, okay, and create enough trust with his little list that he had. This stuff is powerful. Credibility — the easiest way to create credibility is the stuff that we have been talking about, I believe in the first lesson or the second lesson of this program, is building on your little successes.

You never lie to people.

When you get traffic right here, guys, pay attention because this stuff is going to come together and, I promise you, okay?

When you do this, like, when you take this blueprint right here, okay, and the stuff that we have been talking about, you know, up until this point, folks, this year can be the most profitable, the most explosive year for you, period, okay? And moving into the future, your business will never be the same. You will never look at your business the same, okay? When you get access to the, you know, Internet Traffic Formula, okay?

You will learn how to get traffic. When you have 100 opt-ins, when you have 1,000 opt-ins, when you have 10 opt-ins on your list, it's very, very easy to start building credibility with your list, okay? You do a quick video proof, right, and you talk about what you did here that got you this. Does that make sense? That's going to give you a little bump in the credibility arena.

Okay, so moving forward, there's quite a few things, okay? Longevity. All right? How long have you been in this community? How long have you been with a particular company, with a particular system?

If you are a jumper, let me tell you this. Let me tell you something. If you're jumping ships all the time, okay, if you never can, you know, put your stake in the ground with something, with one thing, if you're here today, gone tomorrow, if you're doing one thing today, and you're doing something else tomorrow, and yet something else the day after, and if that's how your list sees you, right, as this jumper, right, there is no longevity.

When your list sees you as a person who is centered, okay, a person with a vision and a person who's going to go through whatever you need to go through to get to your end destination, all right, no matter what, they'll respect you and you'll have trust with them, all right?

Next one is celebrity, okay? Celebrity status creates trust and creates equity in your business, okay? All of this stuff right here is engineerable, okay? All of this stuff you can do starting tonight, I'm going to show you, okay? So for example, celebrity.

How do you create celebrity? Well, you can create celebrity status by, A, something as simple as just association, okay?

You are, you know, up on stage. You took a picture with, you know, another perceived celebrity in that niche, okay? By the virtue of association, you do a video, you know, you shoot videos.

And when you shoot videos, you portray the best version of you, okay? When you shoot your videos, you don't take your, you know, your phone and just talk like, well, you know, yeah, I had a good day today, you know, it was great, I guess, you know.

When they resonate with you, they feel that when they do a video, people will not resonate with them like they resonated with you. Does that make sense? Let me check this, if you guys are still with me here, okay?

This is really going to get deeper in this kind of stuff, okay? This stuff is really, really actually really, really good, okay? This is going to allow you guys to — I'm going to show you, again, I'll give you guys a specific assignment tonight, alright, and show you how to do this all together, okay, by the time we're done.

Familiarity, we're going to come back to that, actually, but familiarity is one of the most important things that you can start engineering in your marketing. Familiarity means how familiar are your people with your name, okay? Some of you guys are promoting out there, and I've seen this, okay, certainly I can talk about this because we got a team of over 28,000 people right now within Empower Network that we've built just over the last about 13, 14 months.

Started from scratch, started from an idea, over 28,000 people, okay guys? And I can talk about this because I see this happening on my team, alright? People who got started, okay, people who promote stuff, they don't want to put their name in front of their opt-ins, okay, in front of the list, but when somebody gets traffic they get an opt-in, right? And when they send out an email, autoresponder to that opt-in, they use somebody else's name, alright, or they use a company's name as they-from in the email. Does that make sense? Don't do that. That's bad for your business, that's bad for you, alright? You want to use your name, why?

Because you want to be familiar, okay, you want to be familiar with your list, you want to be familiar with your marketplace. You don't want to use Vic's name to promote your stuff. You don't want to use Dave Wood's name to promote your stuff. You want to use you, right, your name, your brand, because as you're doing this, you know what? As you're shooting videos, as you're talking about one thing over and over and over again, you're delivering value and you're doing the triangle of trust, which I'm going to show you here a little bit later on tonight, right? As you're getting credibility, right, as you're sharing similar experiences like you had to go through, you know what, your struggles right now, my friend, can be your best asset later, alright?

Alright, you will not have affinity if everything is, you know, red roses for you, right? If everything is in pink colors for you, right, if I would not have to struggle in the beginning, I would not have affinity with my people, alright? I would not be able to share similar experiences with them. I would not know how they feel when they go through turbulence in life, right? But because I went through turbulence, lots of it.

In my personal life, right, I have this thing called affinity, right? I can talk about it and I understand how they feel, and I'm actually going to come back to it because there's actually a very deep psychological process that you can actually deploy — a thing that you can do with people that will actually help them, it will elevate them, it will inspire them, and at the same time, they will see you as a celebrity, okay, and they'll be very familiar with you. Okay. There's a few more things, okay? Frequency.

Okay. There's frequency. How many times do you mail your list? And, you know, this is one of those things that I'm not going to give you the right or wrong answer on, okay, give me one sec here. But I can share with you guys what's working for me, okay?

Again, you just have to try it for yourself. See if it works for you, okay? Frequency for me means... People think that, you know, again, they have to slam their list every day or twice a day or 20 times a day, right? Well, if you do that, I think you're going to burn your list.

I really do. Even if you're sending them the best, most awesome information in the world, okay, if I would email you, you know, five times a day and my information was the most awesome information ever, okay? You would probably open my emails for about maybe three, four days, okay? And then you get too familiar, you get complacent, right? Each one of these things, there is a borderline.

There is... you don't overdo it, okay? If you have too much authority, people don't resonate with you. If your story is way out of whack, right, people will not resonate with you.

Here's something else I want to engineer. Guys, I'm going to show you how to do that. I'm going to give you specific direction of what's working for me that you can model after, okay? With this thing called frequency, I want to keep my list waiting. There is a way for you to engineer that, okay? How many of you guys saw some of the Facebook posts that I showed with the, you know, like the screenshots of my GetResponse account, right, showing my open rates and things like that.

Why do I show you that? I show you that not to say that I'm somebody special. I show you that because this stuff works, all right. And for those of you guys who have been seeing that stuff on Facebook — I've been posting, right? — I deliberately wanted to plant those seeds for this training, all right?

Because — tonight — see, to get a 70% or 80% open rate, okay, on my emails, when I send out an email I get, you know, sometimes as high as 90% open rate on some of my emails. And they're not like tiny lists. They're like thousands of people, okay? How do you engineer that?

You be deliberate with this stuff. And with frequency for me is this: when I send out an email, okay, we're going to come back to that. It's, you know, I'm going to show you guys a thing called triangle of trust. But when I send out an email, okay, I want to know what people are going through.

I want to know what their problems are, okay? And I do that through things like surveys and things like that. But I want to know who I'm dealing with, okay, on my list. So once I know that, I give them one thing. Guys, if there is one thing that you want to do, I want to tell you that will probably take your business to the next level very quickly, okay, and that would be: keep your communications simple, okay.

Don't overwhelm your prospects. Don't overwhelm your customers. Don't overwhelm your followers, okay. I want to give them one thing, if you can, something that they want, okay. It's like going to a really good restaurant, okay, and they bring you a sample, like an appetizer, a little sample thing, right? It's small and you're really hungry, okay. When they get on your list, man, they're hungry. They're not getting on your list just because they got nothing else to do. When they get on your list they are hungry, they are looking for a solution, okay. You find out what they want, you give them a little sample, okay, in your emails, make it really good — I'll show you guys how I do it personally, okay — and then what happens is you condition your followers, you condition your list to look for your next piece of content to come out.

I personally email my list very sporadically, okay. I don't have like a set schedule every single day, because why? I don't want to get complacent with me, okay. I don't want them to think, well, okay, I'm going to wake up tomorrow, check my email at 10 o'clock in the morning and there's going to be an email from Vic like clockwork. I don't want to do that. I want to condition them — again, this might work for you, this might not work for you, I'm just sharing, guys, this is my, you know, opening my business, you know, kind of taking you behind the curtain of how I run my business, okay. I want to create a certain amount of mystery, okay, a certain amount of, you know what, authority, okay. A celebrity is somebody who is not easily approached, okay. If you want to, guys, I'm going to just share some ideas with you and it might not be applicable to you right away if you are just getting started. But if you are at the, you know, five to ten thousand to twenty thousand income level, it's going to be super easy for you to take it up and just triple your income, okay. Very easy, very easy process. You want to become more scarce, okay. You cannot call Donald Trump and get him on the phone anytime you want, no way, okay. How easy is that for you to approach a celebrity, you know, a movie star? It's not easy to approach a celebrity, okay. So you want to — it's actually very difficult — how can you apply that in your business? To an extent — I'm not saying, you know, to be unapproachable at all, okay, what I'm saying is if you can create a little mystery in your business, little mystery around your brand, around who you are, okay.

A, I want to find out what they want, okay, I'm going to show you how to do that. B, I want to give them, you know, really good stuff. For that to happen I need to up my game personally, that make sense? I need to be the best version, I need to be on the edge, right, personally, I need to be sharp, I need to be enthusiastic, I need to know what I'm talking about, okay. For that to happen you need to learn stuff every single day, you need to read every single day, you need to listen to two audios every single day, you need to do stuff that we have been talking about up to this point every single day, non-stop, not even on Sundays, not even Saturday, it's a daily process, if you want to be in the top 2% category of income earners, if you want to be a celebrity authority in this marketplace, if you want to wake up in the morning and, you know what, you have people that you can email to, okay, and if it's something you believe in, if it's something that's going to be good for them, you send one email and you make twenty, thirty, forty, fifty thousand dollars from just one email. If you want to engineer that, you need to do this stuff every single day, you need to be the best version of yourself every single day, okay, and so that when you send your emails to your list they will perceive you as an authority figure, they'll perceive you as a celebrity, and they'll feel like they know you, they will love your stuff, but yet you're going to have this little aura around yourself where you're not going to be available to anybody to talk to on the phone, and you're not going to be available to talk to anybody who just wants to talk to you, okay. They have to jump through hoops to get to you. Again, it's very advanced strategic stuff, we may actually talk about that a little bit later.

Let's see, okay, so I'm just going to write this okay. There's something else that you can also do, okay, really powerful, is endorsements, okay, and this is — I'm talking about third party endorsements, okay, people who are either your customers or your opt-ins, okay. I learned this early on in my business: if I come to you and I say my stuff is awesome, okay, you say okay, great. If somebody else, okay, comes to you and says, hey, Vic's stuff is awesome, you'll say okay, cool, right? If another person comes to you and says, hey, Vic's stuff is awesome, you should really check it out, okay, that will get your attention, wouldn't it? If ten people come to you and they say, hey, his stuff is awesome, you ought to check it out, okay, you'll probably go and check it out, make sense? Endorsements — how can you engineer that in your business? Very easy, okay, and you don't have to make money, you don't have to have customers to get endorsements. If you have this — you will learn how to get this, I'm going to show you how to nurture your list the right way, okay — you'll be able to get endorsements from your opt-ins, make sense? And what you're going to do is you're going to collect those and then you're going to sporadically plant the seeds, okay, plant the seeds anytime you want, okay. Again, this is advanced stuff, guys, but endorsements — again, think about it, these are ideas for you to think about. If you can implement two, three, four, five of these, great. If you can implement all of these, if you can deliberately focus on implementing all of these ideas in your business, man, you are going to be unstoppable, okay.

Moving on, this is a big one: demonstration, okay. When you tell somebody something, okay, it's perceived from a certain angle, okay. When you demonstrate something to somebody and your demonstration is, you know, punchy, okay, you will have trust and you will have authority, okay, over what you're doing, okay. Let me give you an example, guys. There's, I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys are familiar with companies like, you know, the vacuum cleaners, right, the Rainbow, and there's the Dolphin, and there's Kirby, I guess, there's all kinds of different vacuum cleaners, right. There's a lot of vacuum cleaners, right, and these guys are walking around door-to-door scheduling appointments, and what they're doing is they're just saying, hey, I'm going to demonstrate, I'm going to clean one room for you, okay, for free, okay. So they get in the door by just cleaning your room for free. Then what they do is they demonstrate their vacuum, don't they, okay? They demonstrate their vacuum and then some of them just go to the extremes — we bought, you know, this Rainbow vacuum a while back, and the lady came to our house, she's like, hey, let me show you the difference. She got the regular vacuum that we had and then she vacuumed the carpet, or you know, the floor, and then she's like, okay, this looks good, right, yeah, you know, that's good. And then she took her, you know, Rainbow, her super duper vacuum, and it's a water filtration, and then she vacuumed over this, the same spot, and the water is all dirty. She's like, see? All right, that was all I needed to see. Boom, sale, right on the spot. Demonstration is very powerful. How can you demonstrate — what can you demonstrate in your business that would solve a problem that your person, your follower, is having, okay?

For example, okay, as at the time of us recording this video right now, you know, if you're watching this recording then obviously, you know, at the time of me recording this, we're about to launch Internet Traffic Formula, okay. And guess what, we can talk about Internet Traffic Formula, how awesome it is, we can talk about, you know, hey, you can generate traffic and it's possible, and this and this and this all day long until we're blue in the face — that's what everybody else is doing out there, okay. A better way — you guys will see this — a better way to do this would be to do a simple demonstration, wouldn't it, okay? So what if I come to you and I say, look, you're struggling with traffic, let me show you something, check this out. I'm going to start this campaign, all right, in front of your eyes. I'm going to send, I don't know, 20,000 clicks, 40, 50 thousand clicks within about 24, 48 hours, okay. I'm going to get about 30, 40 percent opt-in rate on that and build my list just like that into thousands and thousands of people, okay. And then I demonstrate to you the what, okay — check this out, I demonstrate to you the what — keyword here is what, okay — and then I sell to you the how. You like that? I mean, let me know, let me know, guys, if this stuff is making sense to you, okay. I'm actually curious if this stuff is making sense to you guys.

Okay. All right.

So what you're doing essentially, here is the idea, guys. Before I actually erase this: the idea is for you to build authority. This right here is what you're after.

You build authority by combining some of these pieces below. Authority is where you really want to be, actually, is what you want to gain, right? But you do all these other things to help you build trust, and at the same time, as you're building trust, you are creating authority. Okay?

One second. Okay. Cool. It's making sense. Okay.

Okay? We all want to sell lots of stuff, that's good. But let's take a look at the sales industry as a whole.

Okay? In general, if you step back, okay, and if you just pay attention, people in our world nowadays, okay, they not only distrust salespeople anymore — they distrust, a lot of them, unfortunately, okay, they distrust themselves.

Okay? There is obviously, you know, you've got something that you want to sell and people don't want to be sold to, okay, but people, a lot of them, distrust themselves because, previously in their life, right, they trusted their intuition, they trusted themselves, and they got into something that later turned out to be, you know, a lot of pain for them, right.

You know, maybe they got into a relationship that, you know, they regretted later. You know, they bought something that, you know, screwed them over. I mean, they trusted themselves enough, right, to get into something and then that didn't turn out well, right? So a lot of people — it's like a scale, okay? Picture this, okay?

This will be beneficial for you guys, okay? It's like a scale, okay? It's like a lever, if you will, alright? See, I'm going to demonstrate to you my artistic skills here, alright? Okay?

On one side, you have the distrust. This is the side that your customers, your prospects, are on, okay. They have all, right, subconsciously — this happens all subconsciously, okay, and sometimes even consciously — people think, right, and they feel how they felt, you know, when they got burned, okay? Bad experiences, you know, lost money, all the, you know, self-talk, right?

I did not do this. This is not for me. I tried it before. I don't know. This probably is not going to work.

You know, what if I fail? All this baggage, all this distrust type stuff on this side, okay? You, as a marketer, you need to have enough, okay, trust — we'll just say trust and influence, okay. You need to have enough trust and influence on your side. And you do that, you know, through the stuff that I just erased, right?

Authority, you know, affinity, credibility, all that stuff that you can create in your marketing, in your business, and these are like your bullets. These are like your assets in your business, you know, makes sense? So you put all that on this one side and you do this — you, boom, you demonstrate. You do credibility. You do this, this, this, this, and you overcome — you literally have more weight on this side right here than they have over there.

And they're conscious or subconscious over here, so you overweight them, okay? Does that make sense? This is just metaphor, metaphorically speaking here, obviously, but I hope that this stuff is making sense to you guys. That's why that stuff is important, okay? Now how do you do this in a way that, you know, you talk to them logically and you connect with them emotionally and you influence them on a subconscious level?

You cannot influence somebody — I mean, I guess you can, you know, you can influence people on a conscious level. When you learn how to influence people on their subconscious level, man, you got it, all right? It's going to be over, okay. So one of the things that you guys may want to do — maybe this is going to be one of your assignments today.

Hold on one second, I got my — somebody's texting me, okay, cool. Write this down: positive power of negative preparation, okay? Positive power of negative preparation. What you're going to do is think about your prospect, okay.

Think about your prospect and think of all the possible objections that they may have in their mind when they see your stuff, okay. Maybe it didn't work for somebody else, maybe I don't know if it's going to work for me, I've tried similar things before, I'm not sure, you know, every single possible objection or negative thought or negative emotion. What you're going to do is, you're going to write down all the things that your prospect can potentially have on this side, okay? You write it down, okay. And then, right next to it, you create one or two positive trust and influence pieces, right, that you can overcome that with, okay.

And it's called positive power of negative preparation, okay. So you literally anticipate what they could be thinking, okay, and what you can have in your arsenal, if you will, right, and I mean this, you know, in a good positive way, obviously, that you can influence them for the better. Okay, so here is one of the things that I was practicing in my business a lot that worked really, really well.

And actually, just recently, just a couple of days ago, I also did a little deployment of this little strategy and it worked really, really well, okay guys. This goes under the radar of people's negative emotions, okay, and this is how you can literally sell without selling and, at the same time, you build credibility, you build authority, you build friendship, you know, you build affinity — you do all those trust factors and trust pieces, right, and you can actually compress them, and when you compress them, man, big things happen.

So I taught this on one of the previous trainings that I did, okay. There's a couple of different things that you guys can do that will work really, really well. And none of this stuff is mine originally, I didn't come up with this originally. I actually learned this from people who are very, very successful in this industry. And I was a good student, right.

And I implemented a lot of this stuff. And I also try to perfect stuff, you know. I also want to put my own twist on it. I want to put my own ideas on it and see how it's going to work for me, right.

I want to put my own personality into this stuff. Because you know what? You probably will not have the same personality as Vic has, right. You are unique and so you need to find your own style, right. Again, I don't want everybody to resonate with me, right?

I don't want to please everybody. Because there is no possible way that I can please everybody, right. But I want to be influencing, right, people who decided to follow me, okay. There's going to be a group of people that will resonate with you, with your style, with your personality. And those are the people who will build your business, okay, and your vision.

But here's the thing, okay. This is called the Triangle. This is the Triangle of Trust, okay. You are getting traffic to your opt-ins — you're getting traffic to your landing page, rather, and then when they opt-in, they get on your list, okay.

Perfect. Makes sense. So you are collecting, you know, emails, okay. This is how my diagram works, okay. When somebody got on my list, okay — again, guys, this is just, don't take this literally.

What I say when I say this, you know, I know there's going to be hundreds of people after watching this who will do exactly what I told them, and that's okay. But I want you to put this and tweak it to your own liking, okay, because again, this is what works for me. You have to put it to the test and see if it's going to work for you as well, okay. Put your own personality into it.

When somebody opted into my list, okay, naturally they will be redirected to some kind of, you know, thank you page, you know. Some kind of offer or whatever, okay. It might be a video, you know, it might be just my video saying, hey, thanks for opting into my list, you know, check your email, whatever, some kind of thank you page, okay. Or a sales page for that matter, okay. Then my autoresponder is going to kick in, right?

First email is generally, okay — well, let me do a little bit better for you because I don't like this drawing, all right — first email will generally reinforce this thank you page, okay. So if it's a sales letter, it will generally say, hey, just want to make sure that you got this, blah, blah, blah, check this out, okay, whatever they opted in for, okay. Second email, I will give them some kind of, hey, let's connect, you know, this is who I am, how's it going?

Short, sweet. Just kind of like a letter to a friend, okay. Give them maybe one tip. If they opted in for a specific thing here, maybe keep it related to this but no pitches, okay. No pitch here.

Just a personal contact. Maybe I'll say, hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm here for you, okay. And this is some of the things that I was able to accomplish. Again, did you catch it? Okay, some of the things I was able to accomplish, okay?

Affinity, credibility, right away, subconsciously, right, not like, look at me, how great I am, you know. And I don't know about you, but I got started in this industry eight years ago from the bottom and I understand what it's like to not have $1.19 to your name, you know. I might actually do a video or a personal email or something like that, you know. Again, affinity, right?

Affinity. Sharing your similar experiences. Again, this is all psychological, subconscious. Okay? This is, you know, under the radar type stuff that resonates and influences people on a deeper level.

But you're not selling anything here. You know what most marketers are doing? They're going to slam the list with an offer here, slam them with an offer, slam them with, hey, buy this, hey, buy this, hey, buy this, and for the first 15 or 20 days they're just buy, buy, buy, buy, okay. No wonder their email open rates are going down, okay. My email open rates go up, okay.

Then one thing that I want to make sure that I have in my email follow-up series is some kind of survey, okay. I say, hey, I'm working on this awesome training, okay. Again, awesome training. What is that telling them?

What you're really saying is, hey, I'm an expert, don't you know? You're working on a training, okay. You're an expert. You want to start crafting, you want to plant those seeds of authority, credibility, celebrity. Okay?

Affinity. All this stuff. Hope you guys have been taking notes, right? All this stuff that we have been talking about here, you plant those seeds, a little bit here, a little bit there, one thing here, one thing there, and everything is working for you, right.

Everything is working in building you up as a marketer, your brand, your image. Making sense? Okay. All right. So, okay, I just want to make sure that we're still live here, make sure I don't talk to my computer.

Okay? All right. So what I do here is I say, hey, I'm working on this cool training for you. I'm going to send it to you for free, no strings attached, there's going to be nothing to buy. I just want to say thank you for being my subscriber.

Again, thank you for being my subscriber. What you're doing here is you're removing their objection, because they're coming onto your list maybe thinking, okay, what is this guy going to sell me? You know, whatever you promised them here, but chances are they don't want to receive your emails because everybody in the marketplace is slamming them with everything, all day long, right. They're getting bombarded with emails, and here you are.

You want to be perceived different. You want to be perceived — you want to remove that objection that they have subconsciously over here, right, the level that I showed you — and you want to get a step closer to your prospect, a step closer. Okay? Again, all on a subconscious level, and I say, hey, I want to know what you need help with.

Okay? Okay. Some of the things that I'm really good at and some of the things that I believe I can help you with. Another cool little nugget I'm going to give you guys is the three factors of creating trust, right? Three key factors.

Number one was being blunt, right, about your stuff, okay. Telling the truth. When I got started in the industry, I was learning from some people. And this is before I understood this game and before I started to make money. Before I came across genuine, real mentors in my career.

I saw so many people just flat out, you know, lying to their prospects. Just manipulating, just telling them what they want to hear, you know, that kind of stuff. And just promising — I mean, there's a lot of people... you're going to be rich, just get this thing right here.

You know, this is it. You know, they don't have two nickels to rub together, not even their own. And all that garbage, okay. What I want to do is I want to say, hey, here are some of the things that I was able to accomplish, okay.

And I don't know if it's going to work for you, honestly. But I hope this works for you, okay. Hope this works for you. Yeah, maybe you can model this. Just kind of be like, you know, like you're talking to a friend, right.

You're not being pushy. Sometimes when you are pushy with your free stuff, you will repel people, okay. You don't want to repel people. You want to attract people. And the way you attract people is you step back.

When you step back, they come closer to you, okay. Make sense? When you are pushing, they're resisting. When you pull back, they'll come closer to you, okay. Hope this makes sense to you guys.

I want to step back. I want them to come to me instead of me pushing them, okay. In my marketing, I don't want to be this guy who is a pushy salesman and a pushy marketer, okay. I want them to look for my next email. I don't want my transaction to end here, okay.

I want this right here, okay. I want customers, I don't want just sales. I want customers and fans, and how do you do that? You're being strategic about how you run and you position your business, okay guys? I'm going to say, hey, I'm not sure if it's going to work for you. It works for me really, really well.

In fact, check this out, and I can show, you know, whatever, if you've got opt-ins to show them, you know, if you know how to get traffic, which you will all know, right, you will all have Internet Traffic Formula. And if you don't have that —

I don't know what you're thinking. I don't know what you're doing here. You need to get Internet Traffic Formula. If you're watching this, there's no possible way that you can build this business and do what I'm showing you if you don't understand this first component, which is going to be taken care of for you in Internet Traffic Formula. So here's the deal: if you don't have it, get it, all right.

But see, you're learning this and they're just starting out and I promise you a lot of people don't understand this. This is very, very basic stuff — how to get traffic. You say, hey, look, I was able to generate traffic, right? I was able to get, you know, 500, 1,000, 1,500 people to my website just, you know, yesterday alone.

In fact, check this out. You show them proof. Again, planting seeds, right. You're showing them credibility. Again, I don't know if it's going to work for you.

I want to show you how I did what I did. But I would like to know what you need help with, okay. So what you're doing is, again, under the radar, totally under the radar. You just got a step closer to them and you open the line of communication with your list, okay.

And so what I do is I go to SurveyMonkey, okay, SurveyMonkey.com, get yourself a free account and you ask them three questions. Hey, how much money are you earning right now? What's your goal? And what's the number one thing that prevents you from reaching that goal? What's your number one problem that you're experiencing right now?

And maybe you can add another question: what's the second biggest thing or the second biggest challenge, right, or whatever. Again, I don't want to give you guys specific words to say, you know, because I know there's going to be thousands of people sending out the exact same emails. I want you to think about this yourself. I want you to put your own personality into it, okay.

So basically what you're doing is keep it very short, keep it very, very friendly, okay. Keep it very low key and with an attitude. Here's the thing. When I email my list, my attitude is this: I'm not attached to the outcome at all.

I don't care what they do, okay. I want to help them, alright, I'm there to help them but I'm not attached to the outcome. I'm not going to be this desperate guy, oh my God, please, you know, please click my emails. I don't care.

I'm detached, and here's what I found: if you detach yourself from the outcome in your business, abundance will start flowing in your business, okay. It's just how it is. I don't know why. I don't know how it works but it just, you know, I say, hey, let me know, okay. And so this is, because this is one of the follow-up sequences, okay, as my new traffic comes in through my funnel, my new opt-ins, and everybody goes through the same process, over time you will have a really, really good idea of what your list wants.

You will know what their problems are. Okay? You will know how much money they're earning, right? And here's what I do: I say, hey, how much money are you earning right now, right? Tell me so I can craft my training to really help you, okay.

And just give them some options, you know, zero to a hundred dollars a month, a hundred to a thousand dollars a month, and just give them a few options to choose from. Let them choose the best option, right. Second question, where would you like to be at, what's your goal, right. Tell them what they want, you know, give them some options, let them tell you, okay. What's preventing you?

Here's the kicker: in "what's preventing you" or "what's your biggest challenge, what you need help with," in the answers, you don't say something that you cannot deliver on. That would be stupid, wouldn't it, right. That would be silly. You give them answers that you can deliver on and you can train them on or give them tips on.

Make sense? I promise you, if you say, hey, traffic, okay, I need to learn how to get traffic, or my biggest problem is traffic generation — which I surveyed thousands of people, number one problem people are having is this right here, right — something you can deliver on. And because you are a smart marketer, right, because you're learning this stuff and you understand, you don't need to know a lot.

You just need to know a little bit, right. You just need to know enough to give them one tip. Give them one idea, okay. And they will go, wow, thank you. And all of a sudden, you just shot to the top in their perception.

And here's the thing, guys: perception is reality, okay. If they perceive you as an expert, even if you're just getting started, man, if you just got, you know, Internet Traffic Formula and you learned one strategy to get a hundred opt-ins to your list, if you can share that one strategy, all of a sudden, you are an expert in their eyes. Does that make sense?

All of a sudden, you just stepped up on that authority ladder. Just a step higher. Does that make sense? So again, guys, very, very strategic stuff.

Then what you do is you deliver your content. Here is the best way I found, okay. I used to do this before I started to blog. You know, you can do this through webinars, right. You can do this through, you know, just email.

But I found the best way, okay. The best way is to do a live event, if you can, all right, again, if you're comfortable with doing a hangout or a live webinar or a teleconference and just kind of teach people what you know, right, great. Another really, really cool method is, all right, you email your list, okay. You say, hey, I just put a video, okay. I just put a video on my blog, okay.

I just put a video on my blog that shows you how to do, boom, one tip, okay. See, you can have your follow-up sequences pre-made for the first, I don't know, 10 days or something like that, you know, 15, 30 days, however you like. And then you'll get to the point to where you don't want your follow-ups to go for the entire year, all right. You just want to build that influence with your list. Right?

Authority, you want to step closer to them. And then it's all about broadcasts, okay. Then, you know, people who are at the end of this right here, you'll just send them an email just saying, hey, you know, you put up a new piece of content, you know what they want, right? They told you here in the survey, and your survey always gets updated, you know, new people are coming in, and so you're accumulating those answers overall and you're giving them one tip on your blog.

Here's one tip. I actually, you know, a couple of days ago, I put up a video on my blog, just like one tip. I was just in Miami, just walking on the beach and just, you know, interviewed one guy. And we talked about it and I thought, well, pretty cool thing.

Why don't I try something? At the end of the video, why don't I just say, hey, if you want to be on my team, click here. Simple, okay. That's all. That's all the call to action.

I did not talk about join my team in the video, nothing. It was basically a value video based on what my marketplace wanted, what my followers are looking for, right, which is how do I make money? How do I just get started in this thing? How do I, you know, simple stuff that we all understand.

At the end of the video, I just said, hey, why don't you join my team? Click here. Got sign-ups. All right? Just from that.

This is the kind of stuff that — in the, when I would engineer a webinar, see what you do is you deliver, right, all the people want. Right? And then at the end, what you can do here is you can give them one tip.

If you're going to do a Google Hangout, if you're going to do a webinar training, you give them one. Here's what I like to do. In my videos, in my trainings, in my conference calls that I do, live events, whatever, I want to do three things. Number one is I want to inspire people, okay.

I want to open their eyes to possibilities. Number two is I want to give them one tip, okay. One tip. Number three is I want to give them a call to action, okay. And a call to action can be, hey, if you like what I showed you here, get a, you know, join my team or buy this thing, you know, and I'll give you this little bonus, right.

I found that specific time frames work really, really well with people. Again, guys, this is the kind of stuff we're going to be talking about in conversions. Again, Internet Traffic Formula is not just about traffic. It's about traffic and conversions. So part of the conversions process is getting people to do conversions.

Again, subtle little things that you can do in your marketing that cause people to convert — either traffic to opt-ins, opt-ins to sales, sales to fans, all right. There's a way to do that. So, guys, actually, let me know.

We're going to — there's a whole bunch of stuff that we can talk about. We've been going on here for about 90 minutes. We'll do a bonus webinar for you guys. Okay. I don't want to overwhelm you — is this stuff making sense? If you can let me know in the comments below real quick if this stuff is making sense to you so far, all right, and if you have questions, write them down, jot them down, and I'll jump on a bonus webinar and we'll do Q&A type stuff, okay. But folks, when you do this, it might take you a day, it might take you a week, I don't know, okay, but it's worth it, I'm telling you. Sit down, all right, sit down and just diagram your business. Just figure out how do you want people to perceive you, okay. What do you want to be known for, what do you want to be known as, all right, in the marketplace, right. What kind of value can you provide? And most important thing is, what can you do in your business to build trust with your subscriber, okay. What are some things that you can do, how can you implement all those trust pieces, okay, how many of those pieces can you implement — hopefully you took notes — how many of those pieces and how can you implement them, how can you deploy them in your marketing, okay, that would position you as an authority figure in your marketplace. Guys, when you do that — what we've been talking about so far is we've been focusing a lot on developing you, okay. And guys, none of that stuff is going to matter if you don't develop yourself, because for you to give something, you have to be something, that make sense? So you never stop developing yourself, okay. You'll never stop developing yourself. But as you're developing yourself, doing that, it's over, all right.

I mean, you're unstoppable, okay. This industry is your sandbox, and you decide what you want to do, what kind of money you want to make. And see, the most important thing is, you do this kind of stuff, your people will become customers, and they'll become fans, because nobody else, or very, very few other people, understand this, and actually even fewer of them actually do this kind of stuff, okay. Guys, this is how I build my business. This is what I implement, okay.

It works really, really well, okay, personally for me. So I suggest you guys — okay, you guys liking this? Okay, cool, cool, cool. I see a lot of cool comments here. Nice, nice, nice.

Awesome. I appreciate you guys. Thank you for the comments. I feel better now, so I don't feel like I'm just talking to a screen here. All right, cool stuff.

Here's your homework, all right. Hopefully you took notes. If you didn't, you can watch this recording again, all right. Figure out what you're going to be implementing first. The best thing you can do is, one of the best things you can do is get comfortable with being on video, okay.

Get comfortable. Forget about sitting in front of the computer all day. You can be comfortable with being on video all day. Get comfortable, get comfortable, get comfortable.

You can be a little aggressive. Many of these days, guys, you can just, I guess you can still hide behind a computer screen and things like that, but you are unique. You have unique abilities.

You have your personality. You have a story. You have a voice. You have something that can make a difference in somebody's life. You understand that?

You can make a difference in somebody's life. Listen. If I did not study this stuff, I would not be privileged to be able to influence positively literally thousands of people by now over the years for the better. I don't know where would I be today if I didn't say to myself, you know what, I'm going to study this stuff. I'm going to make this work and this is going to happen for me no matter what.

There is no plan B. I'm going to do this or I'm going to die trying, and if somebody else can do that, if Vic can do that, if that guy can do that, I can do that, and that's it.

Everything that I covered so far, up to this point including first, last, second, third, fourth and now this is fifth.

All of this stuff played a big major role in my engineering of that first promotion within Empower Network that resulted in over $700,000 in three weeks. It doesn't happen by accident, but the cool thing is now you know, don't you? Now you have an idea, now you have a plan to follow in your business that six months or whatever. Right? You're on the road.

When you start mastering, when you start implementing this stuff, you'll be able to engineer, you'll be able to put together your own big promotions and do big launches if you want within this company or within whatever else you're doing out there. It's totally, totally possible. But all these pieces need to be in place. We're going to talk about that tomorrow. Guys, I appreciate you all.

Thank you. I'll see you guys around. All right. Bye.
