Practicality dictates that everyone's results will vary as we are all unique and different. Basically, it takes hard work to make a substantial income in this business, and some people will make no money at all. The earnings of an Empower Network affiliate will be 100% dependent upon their skills, work effort, commitment, leadership capabilities, and market conditions. Common sense would suggest that in most opportunities, one would find exceptional individuals performing well above average, while others perform under the average. Empower Network does not guarantee any level of income or your success.

This is Dave Sharp, co-founder of Empower Network. And, you know, this is the first time I've ever talked to Ryan before. Actually, I called him on a Saturday. I got his cell phone, and he said that, I don't remember, who did you think I was? Oh, my brother lives down your way in St.

Pete. Okay, yeah, I'm from Florida. Everybody, if you didn't know that, Dave's the one who lives on top of a mountain in Costa Rica. And he thought I was his brother. And, you know, here's what happened, actually, is Ryan reached out to me, you know, for some coaching or just to, you know, I don't really know what his real motivation was.

It doesn't really matter, you know, because I got back to him, and I said, you know, hey, you know, why don't we, you know, I found out what you were doing, man, found out who you were, you know, looked into the company records and stuff and saw kind of what you guys have been doing. And I was like, you know, I was like, wow, these guys are tearing it up. Let's hop on the phone. Let's do an inner circle interview or training call here, man. And, you know, because my energy is focused on Empower right now.

And, you know, I mean, those of you who are all in know that, that, you know, Dave and I's energy right now is being focused on Empower. We're sending into Empower Network. So that's kind of our goal. So, I mean, if you're listening to this call right now and, you know, you're wondering, you know, how do I connect closer? How do I get more in the circle?

How do I, you know, how do I pop on the phone with these guys? You know, all that good stuff that's just cool stuff. It's, you know, just get all in, you know, make a commitment, get all in, make some things happen. And we're going to be doing more and more of these type things in the future, just kind of getting in the trenches, staying in the trenches. We got it.

We made it. We made it to stay in the trenches. So enough about me and kind of what we're doing and what's on the table for everybody. Ryan, man, good to talk to you. Again, this is the first time I've talked to you.

I was just looking at some of your stats. You guys are killing it, man. Yeah, thanks. We're surprised at how sort of easy it's been. So that's why I was reaching out.

This network marketing thing is a little new for us. And I was more concerned with that aspect of it. We kind of got the lead generation down, but, you know, actually sort of being a leader, a leader of a team, is kind of new to us, you know. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And I saw that in some of the things that you had wrote over to me, that network marketing was a little bit new to you, or the whole concept of, I guess, MLM or whatever.

What have you been doing? Where are you from? We're up in Pennsylvania. I'm from Jersey and Philly, and I'm in central PA now. Okay, cool, cool.

So when you say you got lead generation down, what is it, just tell me a little bit about what you've been doing up until this point. Sure. We, you know, we have a membership site for realtors. We teach them lead generation, you know, basic stuff, squeeze pages, using social media. So what we've been, we've primarily been doing is we've built our own little funnel with your, you know, with Empower as the back end of a squeeze page.

And we're driving, it's pretty simple, we're just driving a bunch of Facebook traffic at it, targeted Facebook traffic. And you know, we're going after people already in network marketing opportunities. Yeah. So we're running campaigns to Amway, you know, Amway, ACN, some of the energy companies. And just generating a whole bunch of leads every day, and letting you guys do the rest.

Yeah, it's pretty cool that we, you know, I didn't really, the whole, you know, it was one of our selling points at the beginning because, you know, we wanted to build a company that actually had good marketing, which, you know, it sounds silly, somebody who didn't know our industry very well, which, honestly, we're trying to create a new, we're really trying to create a new space, man, I think is what we're doing. And you know, it's not really that we're trying to create it, it's being kind of created on its own. And you not being very familiar previously with network marketing, some of this information may just be irrelevant to you just because you're somewhat new in the niche. But I mean, a lot of times, I mean, just, you know, company marketing just sucks, man. And you obviously know that because you were teaching.

You were teaching realtors how to market, which is cool, which I want to talk about. I want to talk about that a little bit, man. Just the basics of marketing. A lot of people get, you know, a lot of people, I think they get snagged a little bit on the marketing. And I can make a really cool point with this, and then I want you to expand on it a little bit, which is marketing is really simple.

And the same principles apply in every industry. You need trust. You need traffic, you need to generate leads, you need to make some sort of an offer, and you need to follow up. And from what you're telling me is that this is what you've been doing in the real estate industry. Is that what I'm hearing?

Almost verbatim what you just said, those four points. I mean, that's the core of our own system for the agents. So, yeah. And it is real easy. People think it's a lot harder than it is.

Yeah. So, we, you know, we've been, right away, first of all, the reason why we went with Empower, we've been offered to join other MLMs, you know, and we actually, I actually joined an energy one, but that was, you know, and the reason I never do is because the marketing, the stuff that the company provides, you know, I shouldn't be able to do better than that just me alone. You know, what like a big company provides. The stuff you did was the first thing I was like, wow, these guys, you know, I could probably learn something from these guys.

You know, looking at your sales page, I was getting, you know, I'm studying, studying copywriting and stuff. That sales letter, that thing's crazy. You know. That thing's gangster, isn't it?

Yeah. Like all the NLP stuff going on. I was, you know, me and Josh were actually thinking about sitting down and doing a video where we analyze that thing just for fun and put it out there as a, you know, as a piece of content. Yeah. We're some NLP hypnotic gurus, man.

We just, we love that stuff. Yeah. I've been being careful with your emails to me because I'm afraid you're going to make me do something I don't want to or something. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Get out of here.

We just want, I mean, honestly, we just, it's not that we want people to buy stuff. Buying stuff just feels good, you know. So we're just like buy everything. You know, that's just our message, man. Our message is simple, bro.

And I think that's, I think a lot of marketers overcomplicate it, man. You know, I think that's one of the big sticking points, is, you know, we all try to sit in front of a camera and say the right things and be something that we're not. I just got off the phone with another lady who's making major moves, Barbie Z, inside of Empower Network. And, you know, it's just the authentic, the authenticity, man, just with a little bit of skills embedded in it, man, will take you much farther than any of this, this silly stuff that people are out there teaching.

So anyways, man, how are you shooting up so quick in Empower? Obviously, you've got a different kind of market of people. You've got realtors. You understand a little bit about how to generate leads, but what are you doing to shoot quick? Because I'm looking at some of those statistics here, man.

And you're not, I, this is, before you emailed me, I didn't even know who you were. You know, I was like, who is this guy? I just thought you were just somebody out there, maybe somebody who was just brand new getting started. And then I looked at the stats and I mean, for example, since just since we launched the contest, you've done, let me see here. I just lost you.

You guys have done $2,500 in sales. What are you doing? I took your, well, I'll just, this is in our circle so I can share this with everybody and everybody can do the same thing. I took your squeeze page and threw it away. Just honestly, and I made my own that kind of, it's a dynamic page.

It speaks to people, well, those two things, people at the different MLM companies. So we're split testing it now, but basically it says you want to do better with your Amway business. You know, we fill a variable in the URL. They come to that. They opt in and then they get Dave's video, you know, or your video.

The other thing we had in place was something, it's our free squeeze system that we've been testing. And we were really, the reason we almost joined you, one of the big reasons was we couldn't figure out how to monetize this thing. We were giving people away this free squeeze system based on WordPress. It's hosted, you know, they don't have to do anything. Just fill out some fields.

And we haven't even really taken this to our real estate agents yet. You know, we have a big list there. We wanted to see if we can build this cold. And that was a fairly cold list. So we sent a few emails to them just so people know we didn't just shoot up, you know, with cold Facebook traffic alone, but a good half of it and what we're doing this last week or two, you know, if you look at the stats, that's all Facebook and a really critical component.

My partner, Josh, isn't here, but Josh has been great. He's been really great about sending out an email every day and he's just really good at email marketing and he's just staying in touch with people about what's going on with Empower. Like what kind of results our folks are getting, you know, different, answering different questions. So now I should mention that aside from driving a whole bunch of traffic from Facebook, we're doing the follow up. Yeah.

Well, I mean, that's part of the kind of the four critical elements that you need to be able to succeed in marketing, the things that I mentioned at the beginning of the call. So the deal with you guys is that, and you said, I want to back up just a little bit. You said we threw your capture page away. Okay. And here's what I want to point out to people is they don't particularly need to throw those capture pages away.

They're converting really, really, really high. I want to understand for the people who are listening, why you chose to do that. It may be something totally, maybe different than why I chose to do it, but why did you guys choose to do something like that and do something that was unique to you? Remember though, everybody that comes in and even people on your team can't particularly do that. They don't know how to go out and create their own capture pages, but I want them to understand the psychology.

I want them to understand the psychology of why you guys did that. Yep. Yep. Yeah. And yours did fine.

We used it in the beginning. The reason we did it was, one, we figured everybody in MLM space or network marketing space was probably seeing your offer. Yeah. So I think, and we knew we wanted to go to Facebook with it and we wondered whether or not there would be, you know, everybody and their brother running a Facebook ad to it. So we wanted to do something different.

The other thing is we wanted to build a page that joined, you know, joined the conversation in people's heads. And the best way to do that is put their company on there. Put their company name right in front of them in the headline. So I realize it's a little advanced and people just starting out might not do this, but it's something to think about as you maybe even follow up with your leads, just finding out what they're doing. Well, let's talk about, honestly, let's talk about how the, you know, one thing that somebody can do here, where you guys are driving a lot of Facebook traffic right now, and I'm about to ramp up some Facebook traffic.

You know, you guys are going to see a lot of my Facebook ads out there. Why? Well, I mean, because I like it, because I'm a marketer. I mean, that's one. Dave and I's commitment is to never get away from that.

We love it so much. So, and just one other side note is that you're right. And as you know, one of the things that I was always frustrated with, with companies was, is that, you know, we would always have to hide, and I don't know, you may not be able to relate to this because you weren't particularly in the niche, but maybe in some other. I don't know what you're going to say because I went through. Oh my gosh.

I mean, we'd have to hide. The company was, I mean, here's what we used to do. We would do a webinar or whatever. Like I can remember this one time I had this company, this network marketing company that went under on me. I was in the top, you know, five or ten, you know, I would, we were just killing it, killing it, massive momentum, and the company shut down.

So I kind of stepped away. I was really, really frustrated. It wasn't going to get back involved. And then I just made a decision to get back involved with the company. I got hyped it up, got all of these people to a webinar, hid what I was doing.

You know, didn't want anybody to know because everybody knew the company. And as soon as I had a guest on, it was one of the top earners in the company. As soon as they heard his voice, I know I'm not lying, 80% of the people hung up the webinar. I was like, oh man.

So one of the things that I've always been frustrated with is that there's no innovation in the marketing with, you know, with a company. So what we've tried to do, and I was a little late on this because I've been doing a lot of operations stuff behind the scenes. And we've just been going through the startup challenges and pains of building a business, you know, this is it. This is what you go through. And hopefully that's been transferring through to a lot of members.

They've seen that, to realize that, hey, look, we all go through this stuff. You gotta go through, you gotta beat your head through the walls to get through to the other side. But I was like, man, I gotta, you know, that's one of my things is funnels, conversions, capture pages, copywriting. And I was like, oh God, I gotta get out a new, you know, a new set of capture pages. And so we finally did, we just put out two more and, you know, I'm going to continue to always keep those rotated for people because we're very aware of that, man.

I mean, yeah, an offer gets seen a million times, your conversions just steadily decline, but so that's good news for everybody who's wondering if we're aware of that. Yes. We're really aware of that just from personal experience. But one thing that you said there, man, I think this is really, really, really, we can talk about this for a second, and then feel free to just.

You know, take the conversation anywhere else that you want to go, if anything that you think would be useful for people. You know, one thing that I heard you say is essentially what you said is to make your campaign seem to go together, you know, make the outfit match from your ad to your capture page. And that's one of the reasons why you did it. And if somebody is using some sort of a customized funnel out there that they're running traffic through, it's, you know, it's a good idea if you're doing this full time, it's not a bad idea to brand something to you and run them through one of your capture pages.

It's not a bad idea. It's not necessary, you can run them through Empower Network capture pages, but something that's important is that if you're targeting people on Facebook and you're targeting a specific audience, they talk to that audience. Now here's the disclaimer. I'm not telling you to copyright any images or copyright any texts, but one thing that you want to do is make your ads seamless, make your campaigns and your funnel seamless. You sent me that capture page, something that I noticed that you did was that if you were talking to people in a specific company, you talk to those people in that specific company.

Give me your experience, not only in this industry, but in other industries, about kind of the riches being in the niches, and the more fine tuned, the more you can target your prospect, the more results you're going to get. Yeah. I mean, this is what we build for our real estate, you know, our real estate members. For example, we have foreclosure campaigns, right? So we teach.

Then we will build a squeeze page that everybody can use. But somebody opting in to see a list of foreclosures doesn't want a blase, a general real estate agent drip campaign, you know, dropped on them for the next 90 days. What they want to see are good deals in real estate. So we just, you know, we tell people it's so simple, send a deal of the week, right? Or send a deal every day if you can.

Which is so simple, but so, so hard for a lot of agents in that industry to wrap their head around, is that it can be that easy. You don't need to spend a lot of time, you know, sort of coming up with a master plan and 40 emails that you're going to send people or buy some product that drips. You just gotta find cool stuff, good content that they're going to be interested in, and send it out every day, and they'll raise their hand when they're ready for you. And that's what's, you know, ours, the sales we're making are just people raising their hand saying this sounds okay.

You know, we don't have to get on the phone or anything, people are just hitting the buy button when they hit your, when they hit the sales letter. Are you guys going outside of the industry at all? I know you said you were running a lot of ads to people in specific companies. I'm going to share one thing. I'm going to start going for people who are maybe just finishing college and not getting a job.

So we're going to try something in there, you know, guys in their early twenties and gals in their early twenties, and say, hey, if you want an internet marketing education, you want top notch education, here it is. And it's a job to boot and it's not going to cost you much. Yeah. You just spent 120 grand on college or whatever it might be.

I give this a shot. What's just, what's another 1,200 to get involved in something that they can, you know, maybe actually give you some returns. Yeah. And let you work in your underwear from your basement, generation-wise, going to love that.

Nothing, nothing better than working in your underwear, dude. I mean, period. I built this company a lot with Dave, a lot of my underwear, be honest with you. I'm not even lying, man. I mean, some days.

I just had to be like, man, you need to get in the shower, dude. You need to get in the shower. One thing I think that's golden, man, I heard it. I don't know if anybody else did listening to this call, man, was that marketing is all about trial and error and, you know, marketing is about what do you work?

Your income is going to be based on your creativity and your ability to take a risk. So a lot of times, and I got people bombarding me saying, I heard, I saw you do this training, for example, and I have had several people. I did one training on Craigslist. I don't know how long ago, sometime last year.

It was the only training I ever did on Craigslist. I'm still, I've sold an affiliate product on it. There's still three to five sales come through a day on this little affiliate deal. And people hit me up and they say, would you sell Empower Network through Craigslist? And my response to them is you'll never know unless you try.

Yeah. Yep. And it sounds like you're not going to do it. Yep. You're doing some of the same things.

You're not afraid to take those risks. Yeah. I built a swipe ad for Craigslist today. What we're trying, one of our real estate agents is going to try, as he runs his real estate ads, going to try just dropping a little funny banner, you know, something like this guy makes more money than you, you know, funny picture of a guy that drives traffic over to his Empower page. He's actually going to start putting his, just to fame any real estate people or anybody in other, you know, things are out there and you're not using your Empower blog yet.

We're going to try actually putting content, real estate content on an Empower blog. Why not? Because a lot of agents are taking that effort anyway. You know, they're posting their properties online.

Why not make their Empower blog a property page? Sure. Drive the Craigslist traffic to that. So, yeah. So are you guys, you sound to me more like just kind of hardcore direct response guys, if I was to guess.

Yeah. And it's obviously not hard to hear from a direct response, I'm a direct response guy to a direct response guy. But what's your thought process, man, honestly, just to shift gears just for a second here since you brought up the blog, kind of on the blog. I think a lot of people missed the hit with that.

Well, I've created multi-site networks like Empower. And I know how hard it is to build your own self-installed WordPress blog from start, especially when you don't know anything. You know, we're all self-taught with WordPress, for 25 bucks to be up and running and have a monetization, you know, have something there that I looked at right away and said, yes, this is, there's a banner, big, big old on the top, something on the right, something on the bottom, said yes, if I get traffic to this, I can't not convert as long as it's, you know, halfway relevant, right, the traffic going to it. So, I don't know, I haven't ranked anything.

I haven't spent a lot of time on the blog. But what do you think, can I turn it back on you? What do you think of that strategy? Somebody wants to rank for Philadelphia foreclosures, if they spend the next 60 days posting content about that once a day, what are the chances that an Empower site will rank?

Oh, I think they're so ridiculously high. I mean, that's not even funny. And you've got to realize that the way that I've been blogging on the Empower blog is mainly to you guys. You know, a lot of the content that I've been creating, and you've got to remember, I've been blogging on the Empower blog for a long time. And you've got to remember that as somebody who's doing a lot, I got my hands in 20 different pots, Dave and I are actively marketing and we made a commitment to blog on a regular basis, but you've got to also recognize the fact that our blog posts, and I got to give you another perspective, that there's a couple of different ways to blog.

One way to blog is to attract people in your content because it's interesting, and it should be interesting regardless of these two approaches. But the other approach is to attract people. Hardcore, you know, hardcore target a keyword and try to rank it in the top three spots and get clicks, get eyeballs, and work the numbers. So it's the difference between the quality of lead that you're getting. The quality of lead that Dave would always get through his blogs were really quality because people were coming back and engaging with him emotionally, watching his videos, things of that nature.

And he could monetize more of his traffic. He didn't need as much traffic to make that much money. Whereas if I'm going to target a specific keyword and it's going to be more generic, it's going to be less engaging and emotional, then it's probably going to take more eyeballs and I'm going to have to learn to work the numbers. So those are kind of the two different approaches that you can take with blogging.

And of course, I'm not saying that there's not anything else. I'm just trying to generalize it really for those who are listening, to understand that the two different approaches that they can take. One is entertainment, and entertainment always sells. And the other is working the numbers, and that sells too.

If you can learn to get enough numbers. How do you work the numbers with a blog post and SEO? When you work the numbers by targeting high traffic keywords or long tail keywords and running traffic through it, Dave, should we be targeting, I'm wondering, should we be targeting make money type keywords, or does it matter at all? I mean, what I would do is I would encourage you to do a little bit of research, but I would also encourage you to go after aggressively the ones that you think you can't get. Here's case in point, okay, there's a couple of things that are going to give you page rank these days. It's a little bit different than it would all, what it would have always was. And I know this from talking to so many different SEO gurus.

I mean, I'm talking to five a day, usually just because we got some bad asses here in Empower. And one of the major factors, man, is the social interaction. Okay. So one thing that I would always encourage people to do, which is going to give you the ability to go after some of those bigger keywords, is to engage people more with leaving comments, liking things, Google plusing things, because that is the next generation of what's going to give you page rank.

That's where we're at. It's 2012, backlinks are good. They're great. But Google understands that there's things that certain people have been, that, you know, SEO marketers have been doing for 15 years. And there's other things that you can fake, but it's a little bit more.

Difficult. I can go get people to go and like, and I can get 20,000 likes on a page, but that interaction, that comedy is going to rank your post more. So case in point, I get, I say all that to get to here. Okay. I always use this example because I think it's powerful, and maybe on the third or fourth time some people here in it, they'll realize how powerful this is.

I wrote a blog post back in November. You may have even heard me talking about it, it was a blog post for a call that I did on Black Friday. Now, if you Google right now. And I'm going to Google it just with you. Let me log out of my accounts, and this should answer your question, you know, in a way that gives you also a little bit of proof too.

I'm going to Google, Black Friday bonus. Okay. And for me, I don't know what you see on your side. What do you see? Yeah, I got it.

Yeah. It's popped up. You got enough. Do you got it in the number one slot? I got a number one.

Yeah. Number one slot. Okay. Black Friday bonus. That was the leadership call that I did.

And that was essentially where we offer the 15K formula back then as a freebie for buying all the products. Okay. I've obviously got 231 comments on it and I've got, you know, 462 likes. I don't particularly think that you need that or half that, or even a quarter of that, to rank, because I think any interaction, the majority of blog posts that you see in the search engines are going to have anywhere from two to maybe 10 likes.

Okay. Maybe a couple of comments. I mean, this is a little bit over the top, as far as the social interaction, but I also want you to think about the competitiveness for that particular keyword. And this is a keyword that's outside the niche, Black Friday bonus.

How many people are out there, you know, looking at Black Friday stuff? You know what I mean? It's just a big time keyword, 43 million results. That's what it's showing on my side. So can it be done?

Well, absolutely, it can be done. But it needs to be done a little bit differently, with a combination of backlinks. If that's what you, if you're going to go after a big money keyword, it needs to be backlinks.

And also it needs to be social interaction. Yeah. You beat out Groupon on that one. Look at that. It's pretty crazy.

It's pretty crazy. I mean, Groupon, there you go. Black, black, you know, bonus, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Groupon. So can it be done? I mean, this is a 12 year old domain.

I mean, this was an active blogging community and we had people blogging on this domain a long time before we launched the company. So, I mean, this domain is seasoned, and there's a lot of authority behind it that we don't talk about a lot just because we try to keep it simple for people. But yeah, it can be done. Yeah.

I'm going through the 15K, right. You know, and I've never really, it's been a while since I had a personal brand type blog, cause we've been, we've had a site for the business, sort of different things we do. What do you think? Any danger just make your Empower blog your personal brand blog, you know, for somebody who's advanced and can.

Well, I don't see, it's a matter of time and money, man. So I mean, I see a couple of different perspectives, and what do you want to move forward? A guy like me, I'm in the process now in my career that I'm also concerned about my brand. You know, I also want to build out my brand. When you get to a certain point in your career, you want to build out your brand, but what does it take for me to build out my brand?

Well, it takes time, money, and resources. I got to have the connections to be, and I got to be able to pay for those connections. Yeah. Yeah. I got to allocate the time to be able to design something, because if I just throw money at a website or whatever, and I don't really get what I want and it doesn't portray the correct brand, then it was kind of all for nothing.

And I did a photo shoot today, and one of the things I learned today, or was kind of reaffirmed, was that sometimes our personal, the image of ourselves is not particularly the image that, it's not the same. Yeah. Because everybody else sees us. So one of the benefits of Empower is that we understand direct response a little bit more, and we understand image a little bit more and branding a little bit more. So what we plan on doing is we plan on rolling out a couple of more themes for people that they can brand a little bit more to themselves.

And they can also be a little bit more generic for whatever their uses are, so they can do a little bit more with it. So that's a really good thing. I think it's a really good thing, themes. So right now a newbie, now obviously I don't know what you would consider yourself, but I mean somebody who is brand new, if they said should I spend the time and money in the learning curve to be able to go and set up a blog, I would ask them why, and if they didn't have a really good reason, then I would say go learn how to do Facebook PPC or go learn how to do a specific skill set instead of spending the time and money to set up a blog.

Because let's look at Facebook, I mean, I could brand myself with a really cool Facebook, you know, photo right now and interact there and not even have a blog, and I know a lot of people who have done it without a blog. So it depends on where you're at, how much money do you have to spend, and are you really making good decisions with the money that you do have. Yep, that was helpful. I mean, I just started talking to people coming in yesterday, it was the first time I've been on the phone in three years.

Yeah, you know, but that's the question I'm getting from you, where do I go, what do I do with the blog. And it's hard for me to say to go do it because I'm taking the shortcut. I have a little bit of a budget, you know, to do Facebook ads, so that's a good, you know, I'm going to use that kind of script you gave. It depends on time and money, right? If you got time, you go for the blog, is that what I'm hearing?

Well, man, if you got time and you got money, go for the blog. But also don't go out there and just throw money on something that's not useful. Right now, a lot of times when people want to go and build their brand before they got results, nobody really, and this is just keeping it real, and how it is, if you want to build your brand before results, then you're doing the cart before the horse. Get your results and then build your brand, and then you can actually say, as you're building your brand, hey, I went from broke construction worker to built to doing millions of dollars, you know, in sales online.

If you look at my personal blog, I mean, you know, I'm just now getting that redone, and I built that by hand personally myself back several years ago and haven't done anything with it since. And the reason why is because, honestly, I'm not the big blogging guru, I didn't build my business on it. I built my business based on direct response marketing, good marketing funnels, copywriting, and focusing on conversions. And then Dave, who was more of a blogging guy, we partnered up and married the two together. So, I mean, you know, it's just all in, I think really building a business is about good decision making, man.

So I'm just now at the point, as you know, an owner of a company who's done 4.2 million dollars in sales, I'm going to go and build myself a nice brand. So, you know, do I need to go do it, though? No, I really don't, honestly. I don't need to go do it. I could just go put up a capture page on my domain name and I'd be just as happy with that.

I think the biggest thing that I've heard, you know, I've been listening a lot to the stuff, is, one of your recordings you said, you kind of laid it out pretty harsh, all you need is what is it, a capture page, a sales page, and the traffic, right? Well, all you need is a capture page, a sales page, and it'd be smart to have a follow-up series, right? I mean, that's all you need to make money online, period. A lot of people complicate it, they spend too much time getting dressed up, they ain't got nowhere to go.

So you guys, maybe you can share what you see other people doing because of the follow-up, even though we're doing pretty good with it, we're getting a lot of questions about it. You guys have provided the capture page, you have a good sales page that works, what should people do for the follow-up in your view? Well, man, we're gonna continue to, I mean, I honestly think that people should go back there and get themselves an Aweber account or get a GetResponse account, and those are the two that you can integrate into the back office. There's links in the back office to get those two, or if their sponsor has a link they can surely get that from them as well.

But I would say that, you know, if you go to the blog, I mean, let's just keep it simple here, we're going to give you codes here in the future and we're going to do some follow-up series for you. I'm actually working on our email system right now to get that down to where the deliverability is working better and we can follow up with some people. But you really want to make sure that you take responsibility for your own follow-up, that's the smartest thing to do, and so send your posts or send your own content, that's, these are just questions I'm getting, I kind of know. So here's what I would do, I would go to the blog and I would go to the swipe copy section, okay?

And you know, as you're generating leads, okay, if you go to empowernetwork.com, you go over to the side under categories, there's swipe copy, there's 12 messages there right now. Okay, we need to continue to update that, we've got somebody who's been doing that for us, Stephanie, she's been updating the swipe that we send out. We've got much more that we can send out, but you've got 12 messages right now that you can send out, that people in Empower can send out, they can send out, you know, 10 messages a day and they're all really very rewarding resources and they're very eventful and they're very useful.

And so that's one of the things to consider, is how do you, if you have a bunch of messages at once, send out on your phone and make sure they're all received, what's going to happen is that they're going to get a nice response, it's not just an email, and you're going to get an email. That's one of the most important things for people to understand, that it's not about some random thing, but it's about how do you manage your phone's response, because it's so important to keep that conversation going. And so always remember that you can't set yourself up right on the phone, it's not about sitting at a desk or a table, you're doing it out of your head in the middle of the room, and it will convert sales for them.

This was really helpful, I didn't even know that existed, the swipe copy, and that's, you know, in terms of the team we're building, a site, and this is great, so we can just build an Aweber series and share it with our team right now, and you guys are probably going to do the same, it sounds like. Well, I mean, honestly, just as a leader of your team, you know, man, and obviously you want to continue to create more leaders and build more, you know, you want to pass that baton, you know, I mean, that's really what this business is about, it's about leverage. So you want to teach your people to do this for their people too, is create, go through the swipe, you know, spend the night going through the swipe and, you know, tweak it a little bit, customize it, and put it into a series and give it to your team.

I didn't know it existed, I don't know if, did I skip something in the fast start, maybe it would help everybody if that was more front and center, that was great. Yeah, we're gonna redo a lot of those videos. Yeah, we've had a lot, man, since we made that stuff. I'm actually going down to Costa Rica this week, we're gonna redo some of the videos. So yeah, we're gonna update a lot of that stuff.

There's a lot of stuff that's going on all around, that's why we just try to plug people in, we encourage them to go to the blog, kind of browse around, always keep up to date with things that are going on, and, yeah man, we got more resources here, the majority of the time it's just a matter of pointing people in the right direction.

Cool. I had another question, if I can, it's a little probably a little more advanced but I wanted to get it out of the way. You know, sure, man, I guess shoot away. We're, you know, so we're probably bringing in between five and ten a day, I think, the last week or two, and I did get on the phone just to see what it was like, what do you think about outsourcing upsell calls?

Well, we're in the process of testing that right now, we're testing it right now, and what we may even offer, now don't hold me to this, but we may even offer that service to people in the future. So that's going to be something that we're going to be doing in the future, and that's something that we're actually, again, like I said, we're testing it right now, so I'll actually be able to have real world results to be able to give people.

Cool, yeah, include us in the data if there is one on that. Here's one thing that I will tell people, okay, is go in your back office and call your unpaid members. I was just on the phone with a woman, and I went back into her back office, and if you go under, let me see here, let me try to find the... Josh got three today, by the way, doing that, my partner. So again, let's make sure that we tell people exactly how to do it, probably be a good way to end this call, man.

It's just because that is like a big place that people are leaving money on the table. So if you're an affiliate and you're selling our products, then you go to the my business tab, then go to view team, and in that drop down menu you'll be able to see your active and unpaid members, and it says that for each particular product, Costa Rica masterminds, and I went into this particular lady's back office and she had just a whole load of unpaid members.

And how does it, okay, well it's just somebody who doesn't own the product who's already in the system but doesn't own the product. So if they're an EN basic membership unpaid person, they filled out the join form, and if they are an inner circle training, they're going to be able to join, the circle member, they're on your team and they just don't own that product. I got it, I got it, so upgrade them and then call those, call those people there.

And you know, guys, I mean, the truth of the matter is, I would just, it's all about kind of keeping your reports and staying organized. So I mean, make yourself, if somebody came up with a good sheet, we'd send it out to the rest of the people in the company, you know, if you guys wanted to create something, if you were super organized, you know, and it's kind of like, I've made these things before for myself when I was calling a lot of people. And Dave and I, as you can see, I mean, not only are we calling people, we've actually called people to close people too, in here, we're also on the phone with, like I'm doing right now.

Don't be afraid of the phone, you know, and what we teach here is a lot different than what most other people teach, was to just pound the phone, pick up the yellow book and cold call people and make a list, your friends and family. Let's build our sales funnel to where it converts really high, and then once you've created a customer and delivered some value, and then let's upsell, it's a lot easier to do that than to just hammer, you know, and beat the pavement.

So cool, yeah, we're, one idea, I don't know what other people think, we're going to try to bribe the upsell by doing some blog customization for people who come into the inner circle, that's just a thought. Again, your income, and I tell this to, I think I said it earlier, is going to be dependent on your creativity, man, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys do.

We're also going to be doing some events here, man, coming up, bottom line is just, if people are serious about their business, they just need to be at the events, I mean, period. We're doing one in ATL here, it's going to be our first event coming up in May, probably, we'll announce it, it's the one that we're giving away free tickets for, for people in the contest, that leaderboard will be up here today or tomorrow, and people just need to be at the events. We're talking about a tour this summer, you know, we'll come up to you guys' town and do something up there.

So just, you know, guys get geared up, everybody who's listening to this, people who are on you guys' team, you guys just start kind of brainstorming, thinking, getting people rallied up and together, you know, let's continue to build the culture. And then also, you know, just remind people to get in that 15K formula, because that baby's going up to a thousand, that's going to change people's lives, not only from the perspective of what's in that product, but also the affiliates, from the perspective of the first time a thousand dollar commission hits their merchant account or their e-wallet, they won't be the same again.

Yep, so hey dude, good conversation, man, glad we hooked up. You need anything, let me know, brother. Okay, thanks a lot. All right, man, we'll talk to you soon. Bye, man, we'll talk to you soon.
