Practicality dictates that everyone's results will vary as we are all unique and different. Basically, it takes hard work to make a substantial income in this business, and some people will make no money at all. The earnings of an Empower Network affiliate will be 100% dependent upon their skills, work effort, commitment, leadership capabilities, and market conditions. Common sense would suggest that in most opportunities, one would find exceptional individuals performing well above average, while others perform under the average. Empower Network does not guarantee any level of income or your success.

So my name is Landon Stewart, and about four years ago, I went to my very first ever internet marketing event. It was actually in Vegas, and there I met this sort of crazy, super rich dude, and we ended up going up to his hotel room that night, and we actually bought me pizza, and as we glazed out that night out the window, we actually watched the waterfall outside of the Venetian and all the pretty lights and all of that, and that night, he looked me right in the eyes, and he told me he believed in me and that I could live my dreams, and I believed him, and I've actually got that guy on the phone tonight, and because of the information that he's going to be sharing with you tonight, over the last year, I've been able to step into my vision for the future and begin living my dream. A year ago, I was completely broke.

I actually didn't have more than a few hundred dollars in my bank account. My life was a complete mess. I was actually living at home with my parents at the time, and everyone around me, I don't know if you've ever experienced this or not, but everyone around me thought I was like a complete dork for doing this internet stuff. Everyone sort of made fun of me and always asked me, you know, so when are you going to stop doing that internet stuff? I'd actually been doing it for a long time.

So here's the legendary Mr. David Wood. Hey, Landon, can you hear me okay? I can hear you, man. What's up?

Oh, dude, I'm just chilling out, man, and looking out over the city here in Escazoo, Costa Rica. You know, Landon, I couldn't help but just notice, listening to your story, that you're leaving out some of the juicy details here, because I remember watching you, and I remember that, because, you know, I first met you, and you were at that event, and I remember you got involved, and you got involved because of something to do with, like, I think I ordered everybody pizza, and you were like, I can't believe that happened. You can tell the story here in a second. Anyways, you're also leaving out this convenient part about you quitting in power networks. So I'm just going to kind of turn it back over.

Yeah, I was going to leave that part out, but if you want me to tell. So, yeah, so basically, back towards the end of November of this year, I started to get sort of frustrated because of the lack of leaders that I had coming up on my team. So I started to do what no one should ever do, and I blamed everything and everyone except for myself. And over the last couple of months of not being a part of empower network, I've had a really big, and I've had some really big and important realization, and the main thing that I realized is that the only thing that matters is people taking action. The people that do will succeed anywhere and everywhere, and the people that don't, they just won't.

And as I began to really understand that over the last couple of months, I started to look back over the last year of my life that everything empower network has empowered me to do. It's taken me, you know, from broke to not broke anymore. It's transformed my entire life. It's allowed me to begin living my dreams. Last year I went on more vacations last year than I probably went on in the previous four years combined.

And so I was able to really start living my dreams. I was able to step into my purpose in life, which is to inspire people. And so I believe that the only right thing for me to do now was to come back and build it bigger and stronger and faster and better this time because I believe that all people are important and that all people matter. And because I believe that, I believe that everyone who has a dream deserves to live it. And there's no better place to help people do that than right here.

So that's why I came back, brother. So hold on just a second, Landon. So you succeeded, got discouraged, and then you quit, and then you just decided to come back this last week, right? Yeah, just like four days ago I decided that it was time to come back. I decided that it was time to help people live their dreams, that it's not about just the income.

And the income is awesome. I'm super grateful. Like I said, I was living at home with my parents a year ago, and now I've been able to move out. I'm actually getting ready to move to Nashville, Tennessee next month with my amazing girlfriend. And so my entire life has completely changed, and way more than just the income, though.

And I want to be able to give that to people. I want to be able to help people transform. And this is by far the best place to help people do that. Well, you know, man, and I just want to tell you I appreciate you, by the way. And I remember meeting you because you're just kind of a unique cat.

You know, you come over to my – he came over to my – like this VIP party I was throwing at your first Internet marketing event. I remember you coming, and, you know, I ordered pizza for everybody there, and he was just so blown away by that. He said, I'm just going to do network marketing for the rest of my life. You know, but the thing is, man, that I saw in you, and this is something I want to talk to everybody on the call about, because sometimes even when you start to succeed, you can get discouraged about things. And sometimes when you get discouraged about things, you tend to point the finger in somewhere other than yourself.

Yeah. You know, like you're building a business, and you're succeeding, but your team's not succeeding, so you think, maybe it's the company. Or maybe you have a commission slowdown, and, you know, you say, oh, you know, I'm just going to drop on this. But what's the unique thing about Empower, and I want everybody to realize this, is Empower Network keeps having leaders come back. Right?

We're the only company I've actually ever ran into where people quit, and they come back. And the other thing is, they quit, and we don't kick them out. You know, I know, Landon, you quit, and then you went on. You were marketing something else. We didn't kick you out.

In fact, your team started to succeed more when you left. Right? And then you come back, and you're like, well, my team's succeeding, and you've still got your check. You've still got your position here. Right?

And you're welcome to come back at any time, but here's the thing. You're more committed than ever. And so I wanted to point that out. You know, Lawrence Tan, he did the same thing early on in Empower Network, and you know what? He came back, and now he's one of our million-dollar earners.

So, Landon, I just wanted to bring you out. Kelly, I appreciate you, buddy. Thanks for doing what it takes, having the courage to step out and do that public admission that you did today on Facebook. And I just wanted to tell you, welcome back, and I love you, brother. Thanks, man.

Dude, I love you too, man. Super appreciative of, you know, you never giving up. Because, I mean, it got me thinking today, you know, like I was on your team for years before I started succeeding. And so it got me thinking, like, if you would have given up, like, a year in or six months in because I wasn't succeeding, then I never would have been able to start succeeding. And so I appreciate you, man.

Thank you so much for staying in and living your dreams, man. Appreciate you. Appreciate you. All right, brother. Talk soon.

So, guys, here's what we're going to do tonight. I'm going to do a little bit different. Usually, you know, I get on these calls and I rant and rave, and then I've got announcements. And, like, near the end of the call, we finally give the announcements. But, you know, one of the things that I realized, and I think I realized this about a month ago actually, it took like 8,000 pages of feedback from people, is that the people who want to hear the announcements actually usually don't stay on the whole call.

The people who want to hear me rant and rave stay on the whole call no matter what I say. So it's better to put those things at the front of the call rather than back to the call. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to go over some important announcements for you guys who are on the call, and then I'm going to rant and rave just for a couple things and tell you guys how to capitalize on what we're doing that's coming up. And then I'm going to introduce to me the most powerful new leadership group that I've ever had the opportunity to, you know, announce on a call and talk about.

And the exciting thing about, you know, what we're doing is we keep having new leadership popping up. You know, one of the things that I learned a long time ago, actually, when I got started in the Amway Corporation, is the new blood is the lifeblood of an organization. And I realized, you know, about a month ago we weren't doing a good job at recognizing these guys. And it's one of the reasons why we created the weekly bonus pool, was to highlight them. And so we're going to talk about them too, but first let me get right into some announcements.

Number one thing, let me talk about the event coming up, the events that we've got. We've got, as you guys know, if you've logged into the back office, there's a big gigantic banner in the upper left called Impact. Now, last week I completed a sales video for that, you know, for that event just talking about, you know, some of the reasons why you want to go to the events at Impact. I'm actually going to talk more about that here in a second on why you should go, but I just need to make some announcements first. So let me cover that and then I'll come back, okay?

So first of all, you know, we did a thing the last few events where I actually kind of think that it was a bad decision, you know, and I can come out and admit when we make bad decisions. Hopefully you guys know that about me by now. We like to try stuff. Sometimes we try stuff and it doesn't work so well or it causes something that's like, gosh, we shouldn't have done that. And then we make a course adjustment and we admit that we were wrong publicly and, you know, we change, right?

And I think a lot of the problems that leaders have in the industry is they don't admit when they're flawed and people just get mad if you don't admit it, right? But if you admit it, you know, people are like, oh, okay, this guy's cool. He admits when he's, you know, when he's got flaws and stuff. So, you know, here's something we did the last time is we discounted event tickets, you know, like the last month of the event, you know, to ridiculously low. And we did it to push tickets because, you know, the last event, it took a small amount more effort to pack that event than it did the previous events because we'd just done it after that stupid launch that we did and everybody knows that launch was dumb.

You know, so we're like, oh, we're going to get people there, we'll discount the event tickets the last month. Well, you know, we got thinking about that and the truth is I just don't feel good about giving like a one-time discount in the room to the people that actually attend the event and then going back and giving the same discount or a greater discount to the people that didn't attend the last event. And I just don't feel good about it. I don't think it's the right thing to do. And we decided, we got together on a call and we just decided that, you know, it doesn't matter if we have a smaller event at all.

For the sake of doing the right thing, we are just not going to do a discount this time at this event. We're only going to offer event ticket discounts at our live events. And so those of you who've been waiting to buy tickets to the event until we do some super last-minute discount, it ain't coming. It's coming anytime in the future because we learned our lesson. And now I've admitted publicly that what we did was stupid.

So those of you who sent me angry Facebook messages last event, you were right, I was wrong, and we're not going to be discounting the tickets last minute this time again. So if you guys do want to get tickets to the event, buy them now because the price is only going to be increasing. Some of the packages are going to disappear. Now the second thing with the event, we finally have event dates up to all of the impact events, all right? We actually took a little bit longer to get a couple of those there because we had some reorganization in our corporate leadership.

But here are the dates. So we have number one, our first impact event is going to be in Seattle. That's April 3rd through 6th. If you have VIP tickets, I'm going to talk about what the VIP tickets mean in a minute. A lot of people have been asking questions about that in the back office.

Number two event, okay, so Seattle, April 3rd through 6th. It's a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Number two event is New Orleans. That's May 22nd through 24th, okay, if you have VIP tickets again. I'll talk about that here in a second.

Charlotte, that's going to be June 26th through 28th, all right? So we've got three months in a row, essentially, of regional events going on across the United States. Now these events are going to be a little bit different, and I'm going to talk about how they're different in a minute here along with the VIP day, but that's just to announce the dates. If you actually go into the back office, I've got a sales video. The dates are right there in the back office.

You can check the details, and once again, the prices are only going to increase. I encourage you guys to register now, and I'm going to be talking about why to register now here in a minute and how that's going to produce some big results. Next thing to talk about, and let's just cover this connected to the events because it makes sense, is a lot of people have been asking, hey, what are these VIP days? Well, if you guys were at the event that we did in Miami, the Freedom event, we talked a little bit, a tiny bit, about what those VIP days are going to be at the Freedom event, and we had a really, really, really good buy-in to that message. One of the things that we learned, again, by taking feedback, because in Power Network, we believe that the way to the future is by taking feedback from all of you guys that are in and making sure that we're making course corrections when we make mistakes, making course corrections to make things better, making sales adjustments to get you guys more money.

Like last week, we just changed out a sales process for the 15K formula. We had a 22% jump in sales for the 15K formula last week. We make course adjustments and corrections along the way. One of the pieces of feedback that we've gotten from people in Power Network has been we love the stories, we love the motivation, we love the big vision strategy stuff because that's important, but we want some more tactical stuff at the events. We want more tactics.

We want more grassroots stuff. We want more how to create breakthroughs, the structure of how to do it, 90-day action plan. That kind of stuff is what we want more of. Could you please do more of that at the events? We said, yeah, sure.

In Miami, what we did was we decided to do workshops on Saturday. In addition to having the training that we normally do on Saturday morning in Miami, we had 10 different workshops where Michelangelo was teaching on his sponsoring formula. Then we had Vic teaching on his traffic formula. Then we had people teaching on team building, and we had people teaching on outsourcing, all sorts of interesting tactical stuff, and people could kind of choose what they went to and what learning they could engage in. We had some of the most unbelievable feedback we've ever had from doing those workshops in the morning.

People really had a lot of breakthroughs from it. We decided to take it one step further. We decided that what we're going to do is we're going to do what we normally do on Friday and Saturday for the upcoming regionals, but on these regionals, these special events, we're going to do something different on Sunday. What we're going to do is a day of nothing but tactics, nothing but how-to, nothing but game plan type stuff. That was the plan.

The plan was come on Friday and Saturday to come to the event. We're going to lay out the strategy. We're going to lay out the big vision. We're going to help you walk through personal transformation. We've always done the best job at our grants, which is helping you walk through and transform in your life and business.

However, on Sunday, what we're going to do is we're going to reserve that to people who want to be VIPs and people who really want to get just down to the nitty-gritty, down to the dirty of how do I do this, how do I take my business, how do I take myself, my life, to a whole new level. Then we came back because we've been looking at a lot of different things in Power Network on how can we improve and how can we take our game to a whole new level. One of the things that Dave Sharp and I have both believed for a long time, Dave Sharp was the first one to think this and then I thought this too, was we really need to take our products to the next level. We've got great products and we have got, I believe, the best products that are in the whole world of direct sales and Internet marketing. However, we're just a big deal now.

Last year we did $63 million in sales. I believe that this year in 2014 we have the ability, the capability, to break over $100 million. I believe we could do $150 million this year in 2014, especially with what we're doing at Impact. I believe that we're going to do that. We just have a lot more resources and a lot more ability and a lot more knowledge and a lot more ideas than we had when we started the company two years ago.

What we decided to do is at these VIP events, what these VIP events are going to be is remaking our core product line. There are a couple of things that are involved with that and I want to make sure you really pay attention for the next few minutes. If you get nothing else from the call and the stories and the training and the content that we're going to bring out when we bring out the leadership on this call, I promise you guys the content on this, aside from these announcements, for those of you who are the announcement guys and are planning on leaving, don't leave. This is just something that you want to stick around. If you're a WUSI, obviously you're welcome to leave because there's no WUSIs allowed on this call, as I said in my email.

However, if you're not a WUSI and you really want to transform your business, I recommend you stick around. I just can't help laugh when I say the word WUSI out loud. I am joking about that, by the way. I just think that it's hilarious to say, so I like to say it. I'm like a South Park character, but real.

In any case, here's the deal. The Sundays at Impact, here's what they are going to be. They are going to be the recreation, the professional recreation, of our core product line past the inner circle. We're going to reorganize, recreate, and remake our products that are going to be unbelievably well thought out, structured, and building one on top of the other. We're building three of them.

We started to do that with Vic because Vic came to us and he said, hey, I've got this internet traffic product that I want to create. He had the biggest first month in network marketing history. He said, well, heck, Vic, let's do it together and make that part of our suite. We're doing a launch with Vic. I'm going to talk about Vic's launch here in a second, too.

We decided to take that one step farther and say, let's take a look at what we've got and remake it and make it literally the best information that just exists anywhere, the most professionally put together because we have the ability to do that in front of 1,000 or 2,000 people at these regional events. Those of you who go to the regional events and attend the VIP day, you actually get to be a part of our product creation. You actually, for those of you who go, not only get to be a part of the product creation, you get to be a part of the message. I'm going to talk about that here in some future calls and stuff, but here's what else you're going to do. We've had some other feedback when we've launched a couple of products that we've done.

Some of you guys who are new to Empower, you have no idea what we're talking about. It's fine if you have no idea what I'm talking about here. Just wait for the content and that will relate to you more. For those of you who have been around for a few months or you've been around for a year or two years, you'll know what I'm talking about, so I want to talk to you. One of the pieces of feedback.

We had, the last couple of products we launched was, you know, people were like, you know, hey, you launch, you know, this product and what if my team member, you know, they buy before I'm qualified and then I pass up power lines, you know, this person passed up or that person passed up. And the reason was is because technically, we didn't have the ability to create some kind of like a grace period or something like that when we make a product live. And so, you know, people order and the power lines just kind of go all over the place. And that's made some people say, hey, I'm angry at that, you know. So what we decided to do for those of you who come and who go to the event and who attend the VIP section of the event, you're going to have the opportunity to become a part of that product in a way that's going to retain your sponsorship lines, OK?

And you're not going to be missing sales and stuff. And, you know, I was talking with Jonathan, our CEO, and we found a way to do that. So we're going to give you an opportunity to be a part of that. Here's the biggest thing though that I believe is the most important reason why you need to both attend at least one of the impact events. And honestly, if you have the capability, I just go to all three of them because the Sunday session, all three of them are going to be different.

Here's the reason why I would go, because we are going to take three days with you and we're going to do what we've always done at our events which is raise belief, which is create internal transformations, which is give value. And then when you come to the Sunday session, you are going to leave with a crystal clear actionable game plan on how you can take your business and your life to the next level with the specific strategy topics that we're going to be going over that Sunday. And you're going to have the ability to lock in your spot and to also participate in some of the biggest launches that you will ever see ever out there in the marketplace. And I'm not going to really say a lot more about it. Those of you who know what I'm talking about, know what I'm talking about.

And those of you who don't, it's fine. You'll figure it out later. Just get to impact. Just get to impact. Log in right now.

Click on the big impact thing in the upper left and just buy your dang tickets to impact. Here's the other thing that we're going to be able to have the ability to do that we haven't had the ability to be able to do in the past. Because the Sunday sessions at these impact events are going to be creating products that are going to be customer-facing products. See, a lot of people, they're like, you know, why can't you pay commissions on event tickets? Well, number one, event tickets don't really have any money available into them.

The company actually last year spent more money on events than we brought in from event ticket sales. A lot of people don't know that, right? We kind of like took money from other areas that were making money in the company and used it to fund the events, right? Well, you know, here's one of the cool things about, you know, the fact that they're going to be product creation. Because they are customer-facing products and we're going to be creating generic customer products that we're going to be selling that are going to be nonspecific to Empower Network, we can pay commissions on bringing people to the VIP sessions, right?

So let me just repeat that again. We have the ability to do that and we're going to be creating in the next very short time that will then publicly announce an incentive program, okay, for bringing people to the events and bringing people to the impact sessions. And there will be people who are on this call who are leaders in Empower Network that are going to make redonkulous gobs of money because of what I just said, okay? Because we are now going to have the ability to pay commissions on those, okay? Because they're going to be customer-facing products, all right?

So I'm not going to really say any more about that other than just get your tickets to impact because what we're going to do and we'll talk more about it over the next couple of weeks. If you miss it, you miss it. And that's all I'm going to say. You miss it, you miss it. That's not my thing.

You know, sometimes people, they, you know, see a train go by and they don't get on the train and they miss the train. It's not a big deal. And some of you guys have seen us do great things in the past. And, you know, you've said, man, I wish I was in when that happened, you know, but now you are. So now you have the ability to be a part of something that's just fabulous to be a part of something great as we reinvent the future in Empower Network because one thing that we've learned is whoever delivers the most quality and the most value in the marketplace wins over a period of time.

So we're putting all our resources, all of our energy, all of our thought into how can we create the most brilliant future possible. It is starting at impact, okay? So get your tickets now. Again, Seattle, April 3 through 6, Charlotte, June 22 through 28, New Orleans, May 22 through 24. And if you don't go, you are going to be missing out redonkulously and big time these events.

More details coming in the future, but buy your tickets now. What do I recommend you go to? I recommend that you go to all of them that you can. However, if you can only go to one, here's what you go to. You go to one that's closest to you, okay?

Because you're going to have the equal opportunity to all of them to get access to those products, even products that you've had, but you can go to all of them. You've got a bunch of leaders that are saying, hey, I'm going to go to all of them. I'm personally going to go to all of them, okay? Which one should you go to? You should go to the one that's closest to you and if you have the ability, go to more.

All right, next thing and then to the contest winners. Next announcement, all right, we were originally going to start Vixtra's House's launch for the Internet Traffic Formula, all right, which is a customer-facing product that we're launching out into the marketplace. We're going to start it this Monday. However, we wanted to make sure that we had everything to where it was, everything was planned out and as efficient as it should be and the videos were all in there properly and everything was done, so we're not scrambling around in the middle of a launch like most people do, and so we're going to start that next Monday. So the official launch date with the first video of Internet Traffic Formula where it's going live is going to be next Monday and the contest next week is going to be, it's going to be, we're going to do a contest next week feeding into that launch.

That launch is going to be going over a two-week period where we're going to have seven days of build-up through training videos, but honestly, I'm going to tell you guys something about these, they're just going to blow your mind with the content and the value that Vic lays out in these videos. So that's going to be the official date, is going to be next week, a week of build-up in the cart will be open for one week, all right? Now next, okay, next, contest winners. I know I'm throwing a lot at you guys. I'm throwing a lot at you fast.

You know, I can't read off all of them. You guys can all log into the back office and see the winners from last week, but you know, I just want to read off the top 20, okay, in the contest and I would read off more, but we don't have the ability to do it. We had last week 85 people qualify for our bonus pool. We're making one change to our bonus pool this week to encourage event ticket sales because I just mentioned it and we'll be talking more about that over the next couple of weeks, but first of all, let me read off the top, you know, five individually because these people beat out all the other affiliates in the entire database and I just want to recognize them. We've actually got a handful of them on the call with me now, okay?

Number one, Keala Kanai, all right? I'm actually going to be bringing him out on the call. He actually, on Sunday, came out and blew past Paul Gardner, who's the number one spot all week. I'm sorry, Paul. Paul's on the call too and, you know, a year ago, Keala, he worked at a coffee shop in Hawaii.

I just want to just mention that, okay? Next, we had Paul Gardner. He took the number two spot with 139 points. This guy is on track, guys. I'm just telling you to do some of the most amazing things you'll ever hear.

You're going to hear from him on the call tonight. All of you should be taking notes, all of you, when Paul Gardner's talking. Number three spot, we got John Ambrose. John somehow, he's like number two, number three, number one in everything we ever do and he's one of these guys that doesn't like to get on conference calls and doesn't like to speak or I probably have him out. John Penberthy.

John, I'll actually need to bring you out too. I didn't even think about them this week's call but we got John Penberthy, number four spot. We got Demetrius and Lucia on the number five spot. I actually don't know who you guys are so you guys need to hit me up on Facebook. And then number six, we got Michelangelo.

We got him on the call tonight. Number seven, we had Kano. Number eight, Alex and Anna Zubareff. Number nine, Timothy Dick. Now, his is actually listed as Tim D but he said when he put his last name on there, his sales go down which I think is funny.

And we got ten, Graciela Carci, eleven, Mike Hobbs, twelve, Tracy Walker, thirteen, Nate Andraschak. Forgive me guys if I'm pronouncing your last names wrong. Rayankara Kakuta. Number fifteen, Aaron and Sophia Rashkin. Number sixteen, Martin Wilson.

Number seventeen, Ankur and Seema. They're out in India. That's Ankur Agrawal. Number eighteen, Justin Beasley. Number nineteen, Tony Rush.

Number twenty, Vic Strathouse. Now, don't mistake that. Vic is still the number one income earner. He's got a little bit of a different strategy. So those are the top twenty for this week's contest.

I just want you all to give him a big shout out on Facebook. I published a list on Facebook. Just say congratulations because remember, how you celebrate success of other people is how other people are going to celebrate you. So even when somebody beats you out, you want to celebrate them because in Empower Network, we celebrate success. And Empower Network, we celebrate prosperity.

We're making one contest change this week, and this is something that we've done in the past where we're going to throw in bonus points for doing three things in one day. So we have the same schedule we did last week. If you want to know the details, you can listen to last week's call. We'll also publish them up on the website about the bonus pool and how it works. For those of you who are new, we'll send it out in the email.

But you're going to get two points for a blog customer, five points for a viral blogging academy, three points for an event ticket sale. However, if you sell a blog, a viral blogging academy, and an event ticket in one day, in addition to those, you're going to get 20 bonus points. So now those of you who are out there who are kind of grinding the pavement, you have a formula on how you can kind of stack production together to get better results. So once again, we added a bonus point. If you get a blog sale, viral blogging academy sale, and an event ticket sale in one day, you get 20 extra bonus points this week.

So that being said, those are announcements and a lot of details at once. Let me just talk really quickly about strategy for the next short period of time and how to really capitalize on what it is that we're doing as a team, and what it is that we're doing at Empower Network, and what it is that we're doing at the events, and how to capitalize on what you're about to hear with the strategies from the other people that we got on this call. You know, you guys know my story. I got started off in this industry in 2009 living in a van. And in 90 days from being homeless, I was in a company, and I won a competition against tens of thousands of affiliates.

I won a BMW. And ever since then, I had the ability to do things I didn't have the ability to do before then. Because there's a power when you cross over what I call a recognition bridge in your business. What does that mean? Well, when you're out there in the marketplace and you're new, you kind of just got to be raw.

You know, you got to get out there, and you kind of got to just make your knees bloody a little bit, and you got to make your marketing sting make results for you. You got to get out there and just get your face out there, get your e-mails out there, and do whatever it takes to make stuff happen. You're actually going to hear tonight from three guys who just do whatever it takes. I'm talking about if they need to make a phone call, they make a phone call. They put their phone number in their e-mails.

They'll both send five e-mails in a day if they need to send five e-mails a day. Why? Because when you're new, that's how you break through, guys. It's not some like fly-in-the-air pansy-fansy thing where it's like, you know, all of a sudden I have some magical guru secret, and everybody joins. No, you do whatever it takes to create the results that you want when you're new.

That's what you do. You don't sit around and, you know, wait for success to come for you visualizing a Ferrari driving into your house. Sorry, it's not going to happen. If you want to make something happen, you got to go out there and make it happen. Stop making excuses.

Stop being a wussy, and stop giving yourself all the reasons why you can't, and start doing whatever you can do in order to get results. That's how you do it. So, you know, what happens in the recognition bridge? Well, here's what happens. You go out there in your business, and you're fighting, and everything you do is essentially you're just grinding it out, man.

You're just making it happen no matter what it takes. You're making it happen. But now all of a sudden, because of the work that you're doing, because of the results that you're producing, you start to get recognized. You start to get highlighted. You start to be brought out in front of people.

Other people start talking about your success who make more money than you, like I do, you know, like I would, or Dave Sharp would. You start getting posted in a leader board on a Facebook wall. You start to get, you know, you start to be in emails that are sent out from the company. You know, you start to be able to be in videos and stuff that are put out by the company because the company can trust the information you're putting out there in the marketplace. And all of a sudden, your face just starts getting plastered everywhere by, you know, people who have sponsored you, and people who are in your team.

And then all of a sudden, your team starts talking about you, like you've got, like, the secrets, and you've got the powers, and you know, you know what you're doing. And all of a sudden, people are running all over Facebook saying, hey, did you hear what Kayala did last week? Hey, did you hear what Paul Gardner did last week? Hey, did you hear that call Aaron Rashkin did the other week? And then all of a sudden, here's what happens, is not only do people start seeking you out to join your business, but you start having the ability to sponsor better people in your business.

And it's not that the people that you're sponsoring now aren't great people, because everybody who joins has the potential to be great. But here's the difference. The difference is, when you first get involved in this industry, or when you first start, when you first aim your mind toward success, you've got to learn a lot, right? Well, what happens after you start getting recognized, is you start getting approached and being sought out by people who have learned a lot already, and who literally can just create success on the dime. People like Vic Strishaus will give you a call.

People like Tony Rush will give you a call. People like Tracy Walker will give you a call, and just say, hey, I want to get in this thing, just want to make sure you're a real person. First, can I join? You say, yeah, I'll sign you up, and then you go and bring in 100 people their first month. You start getting calls, and phone calls, and emails like that, and all of a sudden, it's like you break over this bridge, where you start bringing in people that are producing results, and then your existing team starts producing results, and you don't even really know what happened.

What happened was a recognition bridge. What happened was you did whatever it takes to produce, to get out there in front of people, to start getting recognized, and getting edified, and getting thousands of people kind of shouting your name. You start being able to put videos out there on YouTube, where you're speaking on stage in front of 1,000 people, or getting a check recognized on stage in front of 3,000 or 4,000 people, or 5,000 people, and all of a sudden, for whatever reason, something in your business just shifts, and it becomes easier to produce, easier to sell, easier to grow a team, easier to make money, but here's what else starts happening. Your team actually starts listening to you. See, when you get in this industry, there's this weird phenomenon.

Landon was talking about it a little bit earlier, where he was frustrated because his team wasn't succeeding. Well, we had a conversation about that, and one of the reasons is, is because Landon was suffering from what I call superhero syndrome, and what's superhero syndrome? It's where you want your list to just focus on what you're saying. You want your team to just focus on what you're saying, so you do all the calls. You do all the trainings.

You're on webinars every day, and they're always on your stuff, and they're always looking at your stuff, to the exclusion of looking at the system stuff, because you're not edifying the system, and they're just listening to you. You don't have the ability to create breakthroughs in people like a system does, and here's the reason why. See, I realize, and I'm smart enough to realize, that I'm not the biggest wig in town, and I don't know everything, and I can't transform everybody, because not everybody relates to my story. See, some people hear my story, and they say, that guy's kind of weird, and they're kind of turned off by my weirdness, and they're like, he says woofie and stuff. I don't know if I like that, and they're a little bit wigged out by it, but then if they get in a conference call, and they hear Tracy Walker, and they say, wow, I relate to this person.

I connect with this person, and then here's what happens. They hear somebody else on the call. Maybe Tony Rush pops on, and they say, you know, I can really do what this guy does. I can really do what Tony does. I can't do what Dave Wood does.

Now, funny thing is, it's the same thing. We just got different personalities, but all of a sudden, they keep hearing the message from different people, and all of a sudden, they're able to have a breakthrough by connecting with a different leader that you're not, right? And so, if you're the superhero, you're kind of in the way of people being able to tap into the information that can really create the breakthrough, and really create the results that they need in their business, and so I was talking to Lana, and I was like, you got superheroes, superhero man. I mean, your team's on all your Hangouts. They're on your conference calls, and you quit, and then they start succeeding, and why are they doing that?

It's because they say, well, Lana didn't start here, so now I need to plug into the company, and so they start plugging into the third-party systems and tools. They start listening, and they go out there, and they start producing and succeeding, right? Does that make sense? So, I said, one change that you need to make in your business is you need to start getting a lot better at edifying the system. You need to start getting a lot better at getting people to the events.

You need to force people, hey, if you want to work with me, you've got to go to the events. I have no compunction with telling everybody that joins Dave Wood and say, hey, you want to work with me? You've got to get to every event. I will not work with you if you don't go to the events, period, because I know people don't break through if they don't get to the events, because I cannot create the transformation in my team that an event can create. I can't do it, and if I spoke for three days at the event, it would ruin the transformation because it would be all about Dave Wood, right?

I ain't Tony Robbins. Maybe Dave Sharp's more like Tony Robbins, but I certainly ain't. The reality is there's a percentage of people who will transform from what I say, and there's a much bigger percentage of people that will transform from what an army of people say. I cannot create the transformation that an event can create. I cannot create the training that an army of success can create.

I can't do it. So for me, it's all about the team. It's all about working together. It's all about the system. It's all about the culture.

It's all about pulling people together. It's all about edifying the people that it makes sense to edify. So that's how you break through the recognition line, is you've got to go out there and produce, but in the process of producing, realize that if you want your team to grow past a very narrow circle of your influence and your ability, you need to be edifying the third-party system and making it so you're not the issue that breaks or makes people's business, because if you're the issue, if it's all about you, if it's all about Dave Wood, if it's all about Dave Sharp, if it's all about Tracy Walker and that's all it's all about, well, what's the problem? If you stop doing anything and you stop producing and you stop being in front of people, all of a sudden, your whole team stops working, and it doesn't work anymore. But if you can plug people into the system, if you can plug people into the calls, if you can plug people into the events, if you can get really good at being a promoter, you know, I learned something a long time ago from Eric Worre.

He said, the highest paid skill in this industry is being the best promoter the world's ever You don't need to be the best trainer. You do need to be the best promoter if you want to make a lot of money. How do you do that? You do that by telling a story about the events. You do that by telling people, I'm going to work with you if you don't go to the event.

You know, I look at Paul Gardner, and he's got more people to the event this week, I think anybody, you know, him and Keala, and I looked at what he's doing this week, and you know what he's saying this week? He's like, hey guys, you don't go to the event, I won't work with you. I'm sorry. You've got to get to the event. You want to go to the event?

Hey, don't just buy your ticket to the event. You've got to get to the event if you want to work with Paul, right? And why is he doing that? Because I sent him a message, and I say, look, dude, you can't work with people if they don't go to the events. I said, they're not going to grow if they don't go to the events.

You've got to get them there, and that's just a true known fact that we've discovered in this industry. People who don't go to the events, sorry folks, you're just not going to succeed long term. You might make a few sales here and there, but nobody in Empower Network who has long term growing success, none of them skip events. It's just the way that it is. All right, so back to this for a minute.

That's how you break through. So I want to congratulate the gentleman on this call tonight for breaking through, right? I want to congratulate him for breaking through. And so we're going to break out a handful of people in a specific order. And the reason for the specific order is because of what they're doing and how it's going to impact your business.

We're going to bring out, let me just tell you who they are, Michelangelo Lopez, number one, so you know who he is. He's the guru eater. We're going to bring out Paul Gardner, number two. And we're going to bring out Keala Kanai, number three. And the reason we're bringing him out last is of course because he won this week's contest, so we all got to celebrate him and congratulate him for winning the contest, right?

And Paul Gardner was number two this week. And Michelangelo Lopez, he's kind of like this foundation for this kind of new uproaring and sponsoring that's going on. You know, and he won the first bonus pool that we did. And why did he win that bonus pool? It's because that first bonus pool we did was based on sponsoring.

And this guy sponsors more people off of less of a list than anybody that I've ever ran into. And how does he does it? He does it because he's more of a, he does more guerrilla marketing than anybody I've ever ran into. He's more in front of people than anybody I've ever ran into. And I actually, you know, when I actually look at the amount of people he sponsors and how small of a list it's from, here's what I call that.

Some people would call that, you know, some kind of name. But I can't actually describe it as anything else but the Michelangelo effect. And the reason is because I've never met anybody that does what he's doing in the way that he's doing it. And here's the truth. The reason I'm bringing him out first, we got Paul Gardner coming on after that.

You want to know why Paul Gardner sponsored so many people. Paul Gardner sponsored so many people because he called Michelangelo about two, three weeks ago. He said, how the hell are you sponsoring so many people? And Michelangelo told him what he's about to tell you. And then, you know, Paul did, rather than arguing about it, rather than fighting about it, he says, is that it?

And Michelangelo says, yep, that's it. And he says, all right, man, don't need anything else. Hung up the phone and he just went and did it, right? So without any further ado, here's what I'm going to do. I'm just going to bring out the guru eater.

And I actually, you know, just want to print off that photo of you being an incredible Michelangelo and paste it on my wall and just worship it a little bit every morning after I wake up out of bed. I just want to tell you something just because you are just, you're actually, you punched the incredible Hulk in the face. That's how cool you are. So over to you, Michelangelo. You are?

Thank you. Can you hear me? I can hear you just fine, brother. And I'm so excited. First, I got to start off with this.

And this is, besides all my little techniques and strategies, this is what's made a difference. Because I look back and I can see myself grow and grow and get better and better from each event. And here's what the event means to me. I don't think anyone can reach this level without attending an event. Event to me means confidence.

There is no way you can reach the level of confidence that you can just bring people on. Because here's what events do. Events allow me, when I'm on the phone with the lead, I say, you know what? I'm your last hope at making money online. When you reach that threshold, when you break through, when you can look someone in the eye and say, I'm your last hope at making money online, man, they jump you.

I did a video where I said, Empire Network is so easy. All you have to do is pick up a rock, put your website on it, and phone it, and you're going to bring in 20 people from your neighborhood when you reach that level of confidence. And there's no way. And my wife, too. My wife has been affected like crazy.

You know, she's been with me for seven years with online marketing. But this is the first time she's all in mentally, mindfully. She's working the program and everything. It's because of the events. I'm not just saying that.

Because at first, I wasn't like Mr. Event. And then I start going, I start going, I start going. And now, every event, I come back on fire. Because you push it.

When you think you've reached the level of confidence that you need to reach, there's another level to reach. And people read that in your emails. They read that when you're talking on the phone. They read that when you're talking to the person. They read that at the event, that level of confidence.

So that's what events mean to me. There's no way I can have the level of confidence to say, I'm your last hope of making money online without attending events. So everyone here, I hope you attend events. Because like Dave, there's just no way you can reach your pinnacle of success without attending events. And that's for any business opportunity, Dave Wood.

Anyone I can when I have events, those leaders attend events. And that's when they get the breakthrough. You don't get your breakthrough at home listening to a webinar. Even though they're good, you don't get a breakthrough even as powerful as Empower Hour is. You get your breakthrough at the event.

Make sense? So let me give you another quick tip right here. I'm going to give you a couple tips real quick. Here's what I told Paul. I'm going to tell you what I told Paul.

So number one, you've got to. And this is so easy. I'm going to give you a tip how to get off the phone in two minutes. But you've got to make yourself accessible. I don't care if it's a Google phone, another phone, maybe not your main phone, but you've got to give people time.

So many times people call me, I'll answer, this is Michelangelo. And I always answer like this. Hey, this is Michelangelo. I'm about to go into a meeting. Be real quick.

You see, when you answer the phone, you're always saying you're about to go into a meeting. That way you just control the whole conversation. They know you need to get off the phone quick, but you gave them what they wanted. They want to hear a voice. You can't even rent a damn DVD these days with talking to a real person.

You have to go to Redbox, right? So in this day, and because there's so many, they've been beat up by so many other programs that have been five by night. They want to hear a voice, if only for a minute and a half, two minutes. I'm never on the phone more than two minutes with my lead. I answer my phone.

I let them know I'm in a meeting. I direct them somewhere to the Empire Network website, wherever I'm directing them to. That's what I encourage you to do. Make yourself accessible to everyone. Number two, a lot of people, because all I do is collect emails.

I do it through free advertising. I do the paid advertising. I just collect emails, just like a personal groupon. And I'm not afraid to send emails out every day, because a lot of people, they're worried about unsubscribe. Listen, if they're going to unsubscribe, they're going to unsubscribe anyway.

They're not going to join you anyway. You send emails knowing that those people have subscribed to everyone else, not just in the Empire Network, but everyone else in other business. So you want to be there. Number three, me, I'm all about videos. People connect with videos.

David Wood does videos left and right. I do videos, videos, videos every day. And here's the last thing I'm going to say real quick, so I won't take too much more time. Man, I'm proactive. I don't have a bunch of little follow-up messages in my autoresponder thinking they're going to convert for me while I'm, you know, twiddling my thumbs at Hooters, man.

I'm in front of my computer, and this is just for a start. You've got to pay your dues. You've got to work your butt off at start before you can make the world's beaches. My goal is to get on the world's beaches. My goal, wait a minute, my goal is to get a big old yacht like Tracy Walker just got I saw on Facebook, which is crazy.

And that's my goal right there. So to pay your dues first, you've got to be a little bit more active. You've got to be more, yeah, active, directly active where you're sending out emails. Most, 90% of my emails are not follow-up sequence. I think they're like in my messages, and then the rest are me in front of my computer doing a quick video.

I never edit my videos, so if you watch my videos, you know I stutter and all that stuff or mispronounce words and that, and I just send out. I have a friend that took him two weeks to send a damn video out. I'm like, dude, I already bought him 25 people. By the time he bought one video, send one video out, here it is. Lastly is this.

You're not trying to be somebody to everybody or you'll get nobody. You're only trying to get the me's of this world. That's all you want, and there's enough me's in this world to make you rich. Thank you, Dave. Hey, well, Michelangelo, it's always great hearing you.

So just as a recap of basically what you do, you number one, make yourself self-accessible, which this is something, guys, and I want to talk to everybody on the call for a reason here. It's because most of the people on this call all the time are new. You're either new at Empower Network or you've been in here for a while. You're still trying to create the success that you want, or maybe you're new to Internet marketing altogether. Maybe you're new to Empower Network altogether.

Maybe you've never succeeded before. I got to go back in time to before I had sort of fame-type status, and people kind of were hunting me down all over the place. So I went back. I listened to Michelangelo and he's like, you know, I put my phone number and everything, you know, and I'll answer calls, you know, and stuff like that. And so I went back, and I was like, you know, I wonder, you know, I got to go back and read all my old messages and read what I actually did in 2009 before I had a lot of leads, because when I started succeeding, I only had a couple hundred people on my list, and I started sponsoring a couple people a day.

Now, I look back at all those e-mails I sent back in 2009, and I looked at what I was sending out in 2009, and I was e-mailing my list two to five times a day, and I had my phone number and all the e-mails, and I was answering the call and closing people on the phone when they called in addition to people joining online. And so I just want to validate what you're saying. There's a difference between what you can do when you're new and what you can do when you've got a budget and you've been around and you've got a big list and you've got a big segmented list. A lot of people on this call, they're like, hey, how do I succeed when I'm new? Here's the answer.

You do whatever it takes. Number one, you're making yourself accessible to people, because you want to sponsor people when they're ready to join. Number two, you're sending a lot of e-mails, and you're not afraid to e-mail your list. And by the way, I'm on your list, and I read your e-mails, and you'll say, hey, I'm doing a conference call in six hours today. And then you'll send the same e-mail out like five times, except for it'll say, conference call in five hours.

And then you have the same e-mail, conference call in four hours. So you just basically write an e-mail, send it six times telling people there's only 20 minutes left. And that's the second thing you do. You e-mail a lot. Third thing you do is you connect with people on video.

Now, I can attest to everybody, and I hope everybody here has our video hosting product, guys. I just want to tell you something. There's a strange effect to video. And here's the different effect that video has than anything else that you could do. Audio has a similar effect, but it's not quite the same.

And the reason is because people don't really know your face in addition to your voice from an audio. All right. But when you make a video and you send it out to people, it creates an effect that's kind of the same effect as if you sit down with them at lunch. They feel like they know you unconsciously. And when they start to like you through video, and people will like you who watch your videos if you're just real, okay, if you're just honest, if you're authentic, if you just are who you are, people will start connecting with you.

You'll start to get really good at communicating. First time you make a video, you'll feel awkward. After a while of doing it, you'll just start to be real authentic with people. And what happens, guys, is people connect with you, and they'll see you at an event and be like, oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

How are your kids doing? I remember the first event I ever went to from the Internet, I was blown away. People were like swarming around me. And they're like, you know, how's the house in Costa Rica? How's the dog doing?

And I was like, do I know this person? And I had to realize that this person had been watching my videos from my list for like a year, right? And this is the first time they were seeing me, and they felt, to me, I was like their close friend, right? So it creates the friendship effect video does, and it's just an amazing, amazing, amazing tool. So once again, Michelangelo makes himself accessible.

Number two, he emails his list way more than anybody else emails his list. Number three, he puts his face in front of people and connects to them personally, so people are falling in love with Michelangelo, and that creates, those three create what I call the Michelangelo effect, which is what he is sponsoring about, what is it, 15% of your active list, Michelangelo? Yeah, right now, today, I have six, and I'm 12 away from 1,800 personal in 14 months. So just listen to that. 1,800 people in 14 lists from one of the smaller lists in Empower Network of people that are succeeding big, and he's doing that by the combination of those three things.

So you want to know how to do the Michelangelo effect? Email your list more, make yourself accessible, and be willing to get out in front of people on video. Okay, next person we're going to move on, and we can talk more about Michelangelo for hours, but we're going to keep bringing you on, Michelangelo, just because you're doing great things, is I want to introduce, you know, thanks for coming on, by the way, I appreciate you. We're going to introduce somebody that I just met for the first time face-to-face, and it was, you know, I've seen him at an event, and the first event I actually, you know, met this guy at, it was really interesting, because he walked up to me and said, dude, I'm so determined to do this, and I looked at him, and he had just kind of that thing in his eye. When you see this thing in people's eyes, you just know they're going to do it.

It's different. You know, they walk up to you, and they're not just saying they're succeeding like other people do. You know, they hear other people saying it, so they're repeating it. When they say it to you, it's like their eyes are piercing your soul. So he walked up to me, and he just, his family had just said, I don't want to steal his story, but his family actually had thrown him into a crazy hospital to try to get him out of network marketing, right, because he joined in power network, and his family thought he was crazy, so they actually threw him to a crazy hospital, and he was drawn to plan the whiteboard trying to get people in the hospital.

That was about a year ago, and I didn't barely remember that, but here's why I remember him now, because he started popping up all over the leaderboard, and then Tracy Walker hit me up, and she said, you know, I got this team member. He's really cranky. He's number one in the contest right now. It would just be a blessing if you came out on this Hangout, but I want to be a surprise for him. So I popped out on this Hangout, and just started chatting a little bit live, but here's what happened, is I listened to Paul Gardner, right, and I heard a hundred thousand a month earner this year, okay, and that's something that doesn't happen every time somebody's talking, right.

It happens from a combination of desire, right, and guys, look at our income disclosure. When you dial into this, there's an income disclosure. I hope to God there's no dumb idiot on this call who thinks I'm promising that I'm going to make you money. This guy is working harder than about anybody I've ever seen works, and that's the truth, okay, but I saw, right, I saw somebody who's just breaking through, but when I heard him speak, I heard somebody who's already speaking like a hundred thousand a month earner, and when somebody's already speaking like a hundred thousand a month earner, that's what happens next, okay, and so, man, Paul, first of all, man, you know, Kayala, he just came in here and passed you that last day. I know you were working your tail off last week, but you got to congratulate him.

You know, that's what this is all about because we're going to learn some things from him, too, but, you know, what you did last week is just amazing, man, and I'm telling you it's the foundation for greatness. I'm going to help you make a couple of tweaks. Even today on this call, I'm going to help you make some steps after you're done talking to get you because I believe this month, I believe this month you're going to have a massive month because of what you just did last week, and so we're going to talk about that a bit, but I want to turn it over to you, and you're just rocking. You're just cranking it, brother. I want everybody to hear the Paul Gardner that I saw in that Hangout, so go ahead and just take it away, brother.

I'm going to mute myself out. Man, I appreciate you. Can you guys hear me? I can hear you fine, dude. Cool.

Cool. I appreciate the awesome introduction. That was awesome. It's so crazy because I've been envisioning this happening for years ever since really I started. I remember I hopped up on one of the Dream Team calls for the first time, and it was like a midday motivation where I got to share what I wanted to do for a couple of minutes, and I was so excited even then.

I feel like I'm back there where I was so nervous, just sweating, and just pacing back and forth, and that's how I was when I first started. I remember I got off the call, and I said, man, I want to hit my goals. I was unclear, so I obviously didn't know what I wanted, so I was like, yeah, I want to hit my goals, and one day speak on the inner circle call, and then I find myself listening to you introduce me. I'm like, you know, I envisioned this happening for a long time, and I was just like, wow, this is actually really happening, and it blows my mind on how if you advance constantly in the direction of your dreams, which is one of the best philosophers ever said, things just start happening, right, and really, I guess, you know, mind-blowing introduction just because I had a breakthrough just listening to what you just said because, you know, I've always spoken as if it's already done, right, well, my intention, whatever it is that it was, right, and, you know, and just to remind everybody, I'm fairly new to network marketing, and I believe Kayola is as well. I've only been in network marketing completely 15 months, right, and I know I hear the stories all the time of people, you know, going through years of just pain and agony and frustration of not making money online.

It scares me. I'm like, I don't know if I would be mentally tough to deal with that, right, because and then, you know, I find the difference in all these companies with the different comp plans on how the company's out for themselves and, you know, particularly our company's out for the rep, right. I'm just so, first of all, I just want to say thank you, Dave, for even bringing me on this call because I'm so grateful to not just have the opportunity to be on the call right now but to be a part of something that I've never been a part of in my life, and, you know, even though I have very little experience in the game, I've learned a lot during my journey, and I studied, and I realized what is really working in 2014, right, and I believe that you have to believe in your product in order for you to actually go out there and share it with other people. The thing is that this Empower is not an energy drink company, right. We're not really selling anything tangible, so it's nothing physical, and it's nothing that you have to, you know, hold in your hand, you know, so and I always look at Empower people like, well, what's the product?

What's the product? And, you know, my thing is, well, really the product is you. The product is you, right, and it's not about not believing in Empower Network because Empower Network is you. The real question is, do you believe in you, right, because that's Empower Network. You have to believe in the product in order for you to go out there and get a result, so, you know, people are still confused on what Empower Network is.

I always tell my team, I'm like, listen, you are in Empower Network. You are the product. You have to believe in yourself. You got to believe in you. That's really what I did is that I believed before it even came because I was already confident.

I came in with a little bit of a sales background, and I was in the cell phone industry for about three years, and, you know, besides that type of experience and just being face-to-face, that gave me the drive to go out here and create something awesome with this company, but it did not really teach me marketing or business, so I came in here just completely clueless, right. I would post on Facebook statuses about Empower, right, spamming people's walls. I was having home meetings. I didn't know what I was doing because I wasn't, I did not go to an event, and I wasn't willing to fully commit in the beginning, and I was still doing things like it was in the 1990s, right, and I finally went to my first event where I saw that it was real because, you know, it's kind of like we've had blinders on our entire lives, and when we get exposed to an opportunity or personal development for the first time or studying universal principles and laws, you realize really quickly that you've had a literally a blindfold over your eyes, and you tapping into this type of, you know, industry, this type of environment, these type of people, it's like, wow, like I didn't even know that this was real. Like, I remember I was in a kiosk and thinking to myself, am I going to sell cell phones for the rest of my life?

Like, I honestly thought that. Just debating, like, what am I going to do with my life, right, and then my daughter came into the picture, and that gave me more of a reason to even entertain a business opportunity. Before, I was so ignorant. Listen, I've been taken out from people that are trying to recruit me for lunch, like even women, like women that I thought were attractive were like, hey, you want to go out to eat? Sure, and then I go there.

and then they pitch me their deal on a napkin. I don't know if that's ever happened in that sense, but that's happened to me and I've always rejected it because I've never had a real reason to be in a business, right? Till, you know, I hit rock bottom. I hit rock bottom hard. I was working corporate America for three years.

I'm also an MMA fighter. Some of you guys already know that. And I've been doing that professionally for about five, six years. And, you know, after just being stuck at a job that drains you, that is just not what you really wanna do. And then you just, you know, you just get tired of the grind.

That reflected onto my career in MMA and I started losing fights. So I, you know, I'm getting depressed from losing fights. I'm depressed at work. I feel stuck in life and I didn't know what to do. And then on top of that, was going through relationship problems.

My beautiful daughter was on the way and I had, you know, I was gonna become a father. So all of my attention went away from taking care of myself, but now taking care of some, you know, a new life, just like Dave Wood. He had his, and Justin DiVorengio and Trixie is about to have hers. And everything being about me, it became about somebody else other than me. And that was like the first time that I've ever felt like I knew what real love was.

Like when you guys have kids or when you guys have the kid, it's gonna be just an amazing connection and you can't even explain it, right? So that was the reason why I got in business is because all those things. But as a result, I hit rock bottom hard to the point where, you know, I was going through all these stresses in life and then I found Empower, you know, and then obviously being, you know, first generational entrepreneurs in my family. Some of you guys on this call are probably first generation entrepreneurs and you have your family and your friends and everybody telling you that what you're doing is a scam and a scheme and a pyramid, right? Not realizing that their job is the real pyramid and what they're doing is the real scam, not going after their dreams of real loss in life, right?

And if you guys are going through that, that's what I went through. I was going through all of that. So the combination of just the stress from life in general and then, you know, I pretty much had a nervous breakdown to the point where, you know, I stopped caring what people thought because I hit so low mentally that I made a decision that I wasn't gonna listen to anybody else anymore. I said, no, I'm gonna do Empower Network, that's it, period, and you guys are not gonna stop me because I realized something. Up until that point, until I joined Empower Network, I was living with other people's opinions.

I was living up to the expectations of others, not what makes me happy. And I didn't know that I was. I didn't even know that I didn't even know. Listen, I come to this call very humble. I come to this call with me knowing nothing.

I can tell you right now, I'm ignorant as hell. I am ignorant and I know nothing, but I happen to know a little bit about fighting, I happen to know a little bit about marketing, and I happen to know a little bit about making money because I learned from the industry's best. Yeah, that's it, right? You know, I came in here humble, something that I wasn't for a very long time. And because I was not humble and not willing to listen, my results in my life were also a reflection of my own ignorance, you know?

So then I started reading and I started listening to audio and all these things started changing my mind. And I became such a different person to my family's eyes, to my friend's eyes, that they decided, you know what, Paul's gone crazy, wanna become a millionaire, in his network marketing deal, let's put him in a mental institution. And during the time that my daughter was about to be born that week, so I was going under so much. I've never, like, some of you guys may have read the book, Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill. And if you haven't, that's a really good book and I highly recommend it, right?

But there's a part where Napoleon Hill loses himself, loses his old self, his ego, and then he taps into his higher self. I know some of you guys are like, what's all this self talk, you know? But I'm telling you, I felt like I became a different person while I am, and the experiences that I had in there made me have a massive breakthrough and I realized something. Everything started connecting, the dots, the audios that I was listening to, books, the trainings, and Empower Network. I had pretty much like a miniature breakthrough.

I don't feel like a breakthrough is just one time. I feel like the breakthrough will always occur. That's where I really had my first breakthrough where I realized that I'm in this mental institution because I was listening to the wrong people. I was taking advice from broke people. I was listening to family and friends and saying, oh, don't go into business.

It's a scam and a scheme and a pyramid, right? I was listening to people and saying, don't go to the event. I was listening to them. And then I look at my life and I'm like, wait a second. Why is it that I'm here?

And then I realized that the people that I was spending my time with, right? And then I made a decision that I was done and I'm just gonna, you know what? This is an authentic call and this is why I love Empower Network because I'm just like pacing back and forth in this room and I'm just talking my head off, right? I don't even know what I'm gonna say next. That's the beautiful thing about it, right?

And I wanna tell you guys a really funny story because I feel like this story is gonna link to a little bit of training that I'm gonna share with you and then I'm gonna pass it on. I'm almost done, I promise. But something that solidified my breakthrough, right? We all talk about it all the time. Like, oh, we have a breakthrough.

Oh, we have a breakthrough. Oh, I get it now. But sometimes we still don't take the massive action that we need to take, we're not certain. I was so certain about Empower when I first found it because let's just be real, right? 100% commissions, $4,600 all in sales.

Like, I mean, who does not want that, right? So I was just really excited on top of that. Not only was I money motivated, right? I was also spiritually motivated. I realized that Empower Network connected me to something bigger and I found my purpose here.

And that is to inspire, empower other people because the problem is that most people are just walking zombies, right? They're on video and they don't even sound passionate enough for anybody to watch seven seconds past it. So I'm inspired and I'm empowered because of what the Empower Network has taught me. So, you know, I go back to what really happened outside of the mental institution. Like, it just gave me the biggest breakthrough.

And I knew right there that I was done listening to my family and friends. I was done listening to my broke associates at work. I was done to listening to the naysayers telling me that I was crazy, that this was a pyramid scheme and this, this, and this, and this, you know? And I just put my foot down. That's exactly what I did.

And when I got out of the mental institution, there was like this big party, right? Everybody was waiting for me in the room at my house, at the old house that I was living at that time. And they were all waiting in the room like, oh, hey, congratulations, you got out of the mental institution. Oh, oh, we'll help you go get a job. We'll help you get back on your feet.

Maybe go back to college, do these things, right? And it was crazy because I knew at that time, just standing there, before I tell you exactly what I did, cause it's kind of ridiculous, right? I was in the mental institution. I'll tell you a quick story. And there was this guy, this martial artist who got put in there because he lost a lot of sleep the night before.

And then the next day, he was a very wise guy. I was impressed with his wisdom. So I had to listen to him. And he told me this, I told him my story, he said this. He said, your family has seen you naked, right?

And I was like, well, yeah. Like your girlfriend's seen you naked? I was like, well, yeah, well, what does that have to do with anything? He said, don't worry about other people's opinions, right? Do not worry about it.

And that's really all he said. And he said, you know, I wouldn't worry about it to the point that if you wanna make a point to them, just get butt naked in front of them and make your point. For some reason, right? Maybe it's because I was a little crazy in there. Maybe because I just didn't care.

But I took his advice. I was like, all right, I have nothing else to lose. I'm already like at rock bottom anyway. Might as well just tell people that I'm serious about this network marketing deal. So what'd I do?

I go home from the mental institution and I go to the house and my whole family's waiting on me. Expecting that I got back to my senses and I'm gonna go back to a J-O-B, just over broke, right? I didn't. And what I did was I just took my shirt off, took my pants off, stood there butt naked and said, I'm not gonna go back to a job. I'm done listening to you.

My life sucks and you have something to do with it. Yes. Yes. Some people know that story and some people don't. Some people are like, wow, that dude's crazy.

But hey, I'm gonna tell you something. I'm inspired by the crazies. Because I remember when he went to my first event and I saw him and he was not quite there where he is right now. But I remember that he spoke for the first time on the event, at the event. He said, I'm gonna make a million fucking dollars by the end of this year.

And then he just started saying, a million, a million, a million dollars, right? And a year later, he did it. Okay, I'm tying this in. Look, the whole story, the crazy, the passion, it's all on purpose. Don't think I'm just talking out of my ass here.

I'm doing it, I'm actually training you right now. Because here's the thing. Now, I'm gonna tie this in to how powerful it is to have an intention, okay? How powerful it is because that's what happened to me. Michelangelo taught me some amazing things that just changed my life.

It changed my business right overnight, literally. I believe we sponsored 76 people since February 1st, right? And I went to this event and I saw Justin claim that million dollars and that made me realize after he got it and the real breakthrough, what happened to me was when Tracy hit her million on the stage and she intended that to happen when everybody was calling out the millionaire ring. And that inspired me and then I knew right there and then that the intention and the confidence to go out there and do it was all I needed. Because I didn't really have that many results.

I've had income disclosure just because I've made a couple five-figure months doesn't mean that you will. And you can visit our average income disclosure at any time. However, I didn't realize that the intention and saying fuck it to everybody else's goals and just doing what you want to do was the real secret. So what did I do? It's like just going to the event not only gave me the clarity and the confidence to go out there and say, hey, I'm gonna be the number one in the contest because that's exactly what my intention was three weeks ago.

When Michelangelo kindly showed me exactly what to do because some of you guys on this call right now and you're overlooking his strategy right now. You're still gonna go and do the same thing that's keeping you broke. I'm being honest and this call, right? This call is like the truth call. Like even Dave Wood forewarned you.

And you'll be broke until you make a new decision to do something else or go to an event, right? So Michelangelo told me his technique. When he showed me and I saw it work, I knew that it would work. I knew I've been doing the same thing, Facebook, YouTube and stuff like that. And I haven't changed my technique and I haven't found something that just really truly worked.

I applied it, right? Just as some of you guys are gonna apply it right after this call and it started working for me. I remember like the next day I got like six signups, right? It was really powerful. But right there and then when I had that moment where I was like, wow, like that gave me the connection that I needed for me to continue to take action on that technique.

So I made the intention right after Michelangelo showed me that I'm going to be in the top five, right? And next week I got to, I believe four, I was number four. And the next week after that, I was number two. And then this week I was number one for most of the week. And then Kayla came up here and just fricking went super sane and killed it, right?

But still, right? There's something going on where I'm placing every time. Why, right? And I'm gonna tell you what I do and what I did. So I made the intention.

I said, that's it, period, I'm gonna do it, right? There's an audio in the inner circle. If you guys don't have the inner circle, grab the inner circle and listen to Dave Woods audio speak the world into existence. I've listened to that audio at least 50 times. And I realized something that you don't need to be technical.

You don't need to have these magic tricks on making money on the internet. The thing that served me, that got me out of my poverty when I was down, when I was literally drinking toilet water, drinking faucet water, eating peanut butter and ramen noodles when I first started building this business. What got me out of that was not just my faith in God, universe, whatever you guys believe in is fine, but because of the training and empower. If you actually open up the product and go through it, they're gonna teach you life-changing principles. I didn't know that by simply yelling out my intention out into the universe, by claiming it into existence, that it would start happening.

I did not know that. And when I was broke and the bills would come in, I said, I command these bills to get out of my life. And I command two people to sign up in my business today. That's it. And I didn't know what else to do other than show my heart and my passion.

And somehow the energy started attracting other people. Being passionate about your business started bringing people in. Now, I realize that is truly the secret. Because some of you guys are on the call right now and they're like, please share with me a technical technique so I can apply it right now. The truth is, is that some of you guys are not gonna follow instructions.

Some of you guys are gonna still need to do a lot of heavy personal development in your business. Because the thing that's stopping you from taking action, which I believe this is what's more important, the thing that stops you from taking action is you. It's all of the crap that's been holding you back your entire life. You have literally a coat full of your excuses, your stories, your lies, all the reasons why you can't be at the top. I was just having a conversation with one of my teammates.

He's trying to tell me that, oh, only the top people make all of the money. Oh, they've been in the game for years. I don't wanna hear that excuse because I have not been in the game for years and I was at the bottom, wearing a blue lanyard at my first event. I just made a decision that I was tired of having mediocre results in my life. If you're in business right now and you've been placing in the top 200 at the same spot, what are you doing?

Why do you continue to be satisfied at that position? Why don't you just stretch yourself and go for more now? Right after this call, you can say, you know what? He's right because I remember when I made an intention last time, I hit it. I listen to people like Dave Wood and Dave Sharp and Tracy Walker and Michelangelo Lopez.

I listen, I put my ego to the side because up until that point, my ego kept me broke. My ego kept me broke and I didn't even know why. I didn't even know that I had an ego and I thought I was smart. It took me hitting rock bottom to finally wake up. Just to finally, I don't even know how long I've been going to be honest and I don't even know what I'm saying because I'm just pushing the information that God and the universe has given me to get to you right now.

And the only thing that I can give you is some of my energy and my hope, that's it. And I want you to think about this for a moment. Empower Network is a powerful vehicle. It's the Lamborghini of the internet. I have not seen average people making these kind of results, especially in a day.

I have not seen it. You guys can make a significant income if you guys focus, if you guys focus for 90 days because the truth is most companies out there have three to four year plans and Empower Network, you can have massive success within 90 days whether you have skills or not because I did it. So why can I do it? Is it because I'm confident? Is it because I'm willing to just speak my mind?

Maybe, right? But that is what I'm trying to tell you guys tonight is go take your business to the next level tonight because the truth is that whether you believe it or not, there will be a hundred millionaires being created this year, I believe that. Why? Because everything that I believed in the past has been coming true, everything. And you can't tell me this shit doesn't work.

You can't tell me it doesn't. And if it's not working for you, it's because you're not doing it. So there's a lot more value that I would love to give. I don't wanna take up too much of the call but I'll leave you with this. I promise you if you focus for the next 90 days on the training that Michelangelo laid out for you on the inner circle and what Kayola's gonna share with you and what Mr.

Dave Wood's gonna give you, I promise you, I promise and I promise you if you focus, if you take your business to the next level which means double your focus, put your head down, mind your neighbor and just go out there and get it and follow the eight core steps and meet us at the event. If you meet us at the event, follow the eight core steps and you set an intention tonight on your Facebook wall. If you're an affiliate here at Empower, you guys need to set an intention tonight, tag everybody that you know and tell everybody what you're about to do because guess what, that's all I did. I didn't know how the hell I was gonna do it. I did not know that by just setting an intention and telling people, hey, this is what I'm gonna create that I would attract it into my life.

And now you guys saw that I hit number one and then graciously fell to number two. Right, so I'm on fire right now because I'm just like, this can happen for anyone that just decides to go and get it, right? So I'm gonna log off here. Thank you for letting me on. Just, I promise you guys, just follow these things, eight core commitments, go to the event, focus on two sales a day with these techniques and you can win here, period.

You can win, just do what it takes for the next 90 days and focus with everything you have. If you think you've been working as hard as you possibly can, stretch, go farther because you can go farther and that stretch, that uncomfort zone, you're just doing whatever it takes. You're gonna learn a lot about yourself and you're gonna learn what it truly takes to succeed. And if you wanna work your business inspired, right? If you want to have all the amount of energy in the world to work your business without being tired, without having aches, without having headaches, right, if you feel lazy in your business because you're not inspired, get clear on your goal.

Get clear on your goal for the next 90 days and realize that your life can change because now because everybody knows me and thanks to the Empower Network, they're going to blow me up out of the map and my credibility is going to shoot to the moon and I'm going to hit my goal, 1.2 million, January 24th, 2015, I'm going to be a fucking millionaire. Watch me. Thank you, Dave. Thank you, Dave. Hey, Paul, that was just one of the greatest stories ever, by the way.

I got to send that out. You know, first of all, I'm proud of you. First of all, can everybody here see why he's producing the results that he's producing? Super obvious, isn't it? You see, when you listen to people that are creating results, they all kind of start sounding the same and the reason they do is because when you listen to them, it's like your spirit moves, doesn't it?

You know, you listen to him say what he's going to do and you know he's going to do it and it's not like a question in your mind that he's going to do it, that he's going to make it happen. And so really quick here, a couple of tactical things, Paul, okay, because I did promise people some tactical things on this call, I want to get a couple of tactical things just real quick and then I actually want to help you because I've got an idea for you here and just a thought for you that I think will double your income next week. And the advice, by the way, everybody, I'm going to give to Paul, it's for Paul, okay, because I know his numbers and I've been working with him. So you know, first of all, tactical things. So you know, you had a break through a couple of weeks ago.

I know you talked to Michelangelo and you know, he basically got on and he said, well, here's, you know, what I do. I send five to seven emails a day. You know, I do live stuff, I get on video and I make myself accessible, right? And then I saw you just immediately start doing that. So what is it that you actually did?

We talked about the mindset, we talked about the words, we talked about the belief, which are prerequisites to all this stuff working, right, which a lot of people, they don't think that. They're like, it's just the tactics, but the tactics don't work without this stuff, guys. So tell me, tell me what were the tactics, what did you do in these last, you know, few weeks to produce, out-produce pretty much everyone, okay? So just talk about that maybe for a couple of minutes. Okay, cool.

Yeah. And just to let you know, you can turn the fire down anytime, so people don't think you're crazy all the time, but you can just let you know. But yeah, I mean, Michelangelo gave me some awesome advice and I started implementing it. Like you said, you know, I started emailing my list 10 times a day, somewhere around there because I realized, you know, the guerrilla marketing where you're just in front of people It's just another way and I tested it and it worked for me, right? Not sure if it'll work for you, but it worked for me.

And I left my number as well and I was following the same, you know, technique. I don't personally like to be on the phone a lot, so I'm just instantly closing them the minute that they call me. Like oh, are you in front of your computer right now? Do you have a credit card or debit card? Okay, ask your question and then would you be ready to get started?

So I don't work with anybody that's not ready to make a decision while they're on the phone. So it avoids me from like having a painful life from being on the phone all day like some marketers like to do. The third thing I started doing was giving away incentives and that was like a real big victory for me. And I remember, you know, there's another book that's really good, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, and he talks about, you know, giving people a free gift without expecting anything in return. Well, you know, maybe just for opting in.

You can send them PDFs, you know, you can buy, you know, very cheap books online for them and send it to them. You can create reports. You can, you know, you can give them the blueprint and empower, which is the eight core commitments as a PDF and send it to them just, you know, as a gift of your appreciation, just things like that. And I started giving more and I just started, you know, stacking those results and stacking the bonuses. And then, you know, for every result that I was getting, I would, whether it's a sale or whether it's leads, I would just pretty much mark it to my list, those results that I was getting.

And again, being available and then giving them gifts and incentives to join me and not anybody else. Right. And I followed that exact advice that Michelangelo told me and, you know, and from that, I started, you know, promoting it on Facebook, sponsoring my posts. I mean, you guys probably see my Facebook and almost every post is sponsored because I had the mindset like before, I was afraid to reinvest my profits back into my business. And, you know, some of you guys are like, you know, that you have the yo-yo months.

I know people that it's happened to and it's because they didn't do that. And then I finally get out of my comfort zone and I decided while I was on a call that I would finally start reinvesting my profits back into my business. I started doing that and then everything started to grow. So from the results that I was getting from the email marketing, I started pumping out, you know, Facebook sponsored posts. I started dabbling a little bit in Facebook PPC and just really targeting my market, right?

Like in the sales video, Dave Wood said, the riches are in the niches. I just started really targeting my market and everything was very aligned and congruent from the website name, maybe having the company name and something that you created as a website name that's targeting that particular company or niche from the lead capture page being where I learned this from Tracy Walker in the leadership guild where the lead capture page would be something that's in relation to what the company is about, a unique marketing message to them. And then a filler page that we use to build the relationship after they opt in. And obviously with the communication skills that I've learned in Empower and if you guys want to know how to speak, you know, speak through the power of video and sell through the power of video, module four and the 15K formula, it's something that I've studied a lot and yeah, so I started doing that and I started doing videos and then redirected them to you guys, the Dave and Dave video. I just believe, you know, top of all those techniques, very, very simple.

I mean, it's, you know, we're simplifying the process, but with all of that, I don't believe that the person that has not gone through an event or that has even gone through, you know, buying all of the products or just having the personal breakthrough or having the conscious connection or the conscious contact to success, I don't believe that even if they do take that action, they may not even get the result, which is why the core commitments are so important and why it's so important to listen to audio. Why we tell you that the same message that Dave and Dave has been telling you for two years to focus on two sales a day, follow your eight steps, focus on personal development more than you work on your business. And then when you're out there, your energy and your state of mind that you're marketing or you're writing or you're doing a video, you're coming from a different place. You're not coming from a place of luck. You're coming from a place of prosperity.

You're coming from a place of abundance. And these are things that some of you guys don't even know about because you're not willing to go through the core commitments. If you went through the core commitments, you're going to learn that you have to open up the package. So I'm telling you now, guys, if you're on my team specifically, you know, you guys need to go to the event, you guys need to follow your eight core steps and just do exactly what we tell you to do and just go for it. You have to be in capacity, mental capacity to go out there and stretch yourself, right?

I got one last thing, Dave, before I give it back because, you know, I got two people that I just want to give a shout out to. My buddy Tyler Hill, he's probably on the call right now, extremely talented guy, but he is settling for a lot of goals that I know that he deserves more of. And I believe in you, dude. I'm on this call right now and you knew me when I was broke and I know you're going to be on this call. And Brian Kane is another one who's inspired me and who's helped me personally when I was down because he was there for me and he's been in the game for a little bit.

And that guy's just, you know, 21, 22 years old, one of the best speakers that I've ever heard at his age in my life. And I know that he can easily also have a chance to share his story and to be on stage. And dude, I believe in you, you deserve to be here, you know, just step it up, bro, and you'll get here. Every one of you, if you guys just step it up right now, treat the next 90 days like you're going to, you know, an advanced college course and your job is to get an A in the class daily. Follow the assignments and work like you've never worked before for 90 days and you stretch yourself.

If you have a clear goal and just do whatever it takes for 90 days, I promise you, your business will never be the same again. So that being said, thank you for having me on this call, Dave. I appreciate you. Hey, man, it's great having you out here. I'm just going to give you two quick ideas here, probably two, because I was just looking at your numbers and what you're doing is amazing and a couple of tiny little tweaks and it's going to take you to the next level.

And they're little things, okay? One of the things is that I'm going to just suggest to you, Paul, and guys, anybody on here, when you start breaking through and you start doing what it takes, you'll connect with leaders and they could give you advice like this. It's really easy to make a tweak in a ship that's moving. It's really hard to correct something that's not moving at all. And so Keala, this is just a tip for you.

I want you to have an energy that if people really want to be close to you, they have got to do what you're doing now. You're getting them to be in the Viral Blogging Academy. You're getting them to buy the blogging system and I know you're sending them a book and you're getting them to get to the event, but if they really want to be connected to you, you need to require that people get to the event. Require it, okay? Don't take any answers from people.

Just say, hey, you want to be close to me, you have to go to the event, period. I will not work with you if you don't go to the event. If you do that, people will go to the event and if they go to the event, they're going to break through. The second thing is create a special mastermind, whatever it is, for people who buy the 15K formula. If you do something special for them, and it doesn't matter really what it is, but just a special kind of like an inner circle, hey, you have to be a part of the 15K formula to be a part of this, you will have a massively larger amount of your team buy the 15K formula than are buying it right now.

You will have a massively bigger amount of your customers because people want to know what you know. Right now, you have to be picky and choosy on who you're close to. It's like if you're running a martial arts school with 400 students, but you had one student that was there four hours a day, and then you had another one that was there three hours a day. You had 10 who was there all the time, and then the rest of them, they just kind of come to a class a week. You spend the time with the 10.

You spend the time with the ones that can win in the ring, and that's kind of how you have to think about this. This is the same way that you think about martial arts, the same way you think about fighting. You're only going to work with those people who are really willing to do what it takes. The next thing is if you'll do something live with the events along with the schedule to your team who are in the master's course, just at the events, they can only come to something that you're doing if they're a part of the master's course. You'll have a huge amount of your team that aren't buying it who will buy the master's course.

Just those two things, that combination, I'll leave you free to utilize your creativity. That combination of those two things will double your income next week if you do it. If it doesn't, we'll talk next week, and I'll help you make adjustments. Is that cool? Yeah, man.

Absolutely. Cool. Cool. All right. We are out here.

Okay. Next person I'm going to bring out, now this is guy, number one guy in Empower Network last week. The cool thing is he worked in a coffee shop like a year ago, and so anytime I hear a story like this, these are my favorite stories because it's like Paul was thrown in a crazy hospital, and he was drawn on the white board and shown the plant, and now he's like the top guy in Empower Network for most of the week. Then we got this guy, Keala, and I actually was on a hangout with Keala because Lawrence Tam suggested him to me a few weeks back, and I was on his team, and we just had a ride at the time, and he spoke at one of our events. I was looking at this guy, and I didn't realize that a year ago he was working in a coffee shop.

I got him to this hangout, and he just took off. Now, here's the thing that he did last week that blew my mind. We have this bonus pool, and so I was certain Paul was going to win. I was just certain of it because he's just like, I ain't never seen somebody crank like that just all the time, only a handful of times, and then all of a sudden, Keala comes on Saturday, and he gets like 40 points in a day, and then he comes back on Sunday, and he gets like 60 points in a day. I'm looking at that, and I'm like, what in the heck is he doing?

I log in, and of course, this is a coffee shop guy, and so last seven days, he's made five figures, and a year ago, he was working in a coffee shop. I'm actually curious on his story and how he did that because I know I was goofing off with you, Keala, the other day on that hangout, which is one of my favorite hangouts of all time, but you're just cranking it, brother. I'm proud of you. I know you've got a ton of people coming to the event, and you've got magical powers. Congratulations on being number one this week and just killing it.

I'll just get turned over to you, man, and just listen because you've shooken us all up with what you can do, so over to you, pal. Okay, cool, Dave. Can you hear me, brother? Can you hear me, brother? Dude, I can hear you perfect.

Awesome. All right. Well, I don't know what happened while Paul was talking, but suddenly, I was compelled to take all my clothes off, and now I'm walking around my living room butt-naked doing this Empower Hour call, and I did want to mention, Dave, the advice that you gave Paul just a second ago is exactly what I do. People who get started with me on my team, I basically tell them, look, you're going to follow the eight core commitments, you're going to get all in, or I'm not going to help you. You've got to show me that you're committed.

You've got to be willing to step it up to a level and meet me on a level playing field if you want to spend time with me. So the only people on my team that I'll actually spend time with are people who are all in and are following the eight core commitments religiously, and, of course, one of those commitments includes getting to the live events, which I'm going to talk about here in a minute, well, my experience, my first experience of a live event. And so when I got started, like you said, Dave, I was broke, man. I was working in a coffee shop. My average paycheck, I think, was like $600, right, after two weeks of work, and I was struggling.

I was living in my mom's house. I was living in a spare bedroom in my mom's house because I wasn't able to afford rent anywhere. For those of you who don't know, Hawaii is pretty expensive. I mean, I was making just enough to grab a gallon of milk and some cereal is pretty much all I had. So I was coming down to the bottom of the barrel.

I was at the, you know, just the lowest point in my life that I've ever been financially. And leading up to that point, you know, I've been an aspiring entrepreneur for about eight years leading up to that point. I had gone, you know, I had, you know, done thing after thing after thing. I'd never been involved in any network marketing before, before this, so this was my first deal ever, and I guess I lucked out because I got in with the best deal on earth, right? But for eight years leading up to that point in my life, I was an aspiring entrepreneur and I just met failure after failure after failure after failure.

I promoted nightclubs for a while, you know, I did, I started a clothing line for a bit. I had bought and sold cars for a while, you know, I just did a ton of different things that I was, that I was, you know, going after, going after this dream of not having to have a job. I was going after this dream of not being told what to do with my entire life. I was going after this dream of, you know, being my own boss, being the architect of my own life, not letting somebody else determine the outcomes, right? And I had failed.

And there was a night back in July of 2012, I was sitting up late at night in bed and I started asking myself, what if I'm just never going to make it? What if this is it? What if this is all I'm capable of? What if I just really need to be real with myself and admit that I don't have what it takes? And what if I just need to go out there and get a job and work really hard and build somebody else's dream and hopefully retire with enough money to live?

And that night haunted me and I had tears in my eyes. I was on the verge of walking away from my dreams. And eventually I kind of got back up and that's when I went out and I started getting, I got that job over at that coffee shop and I started working. And then not too long later, you know, I saw the Empower Network video again for like the eighth time. This thing was like all over the place.

I couldn't avoid this thing, right? It was like the universe was just throwing it in front of me over and over and over again. And I kept clicking on these ads on Facebook and every ad I clicked on was an Empower Network ad, right? So I'm sitting there one night, brokest I've ever been. I click on this ad on Facebook and it's the Empower Network sales video, which I'd already watched like six or seven times before that.

And so I watched it and I said to myself, what I'm doing isn't working. Whatever these guys are doing, it seems to be working. I'm just going to stop listening to myself. Stop listening to my ego. I'm just going to do what these guys are doing.

And see, I had kind of been involved in internet marketing before that. I was trying to figure out this whole internet thing. I'd been online for about two and a half years, never made a freaking dime doing anything. I made like, I think I made like 40 bucks selling it. Like I tried to make this Twitter product one time and I could only sell it to my friends because they were the only people that were willing to buy it because I couldn't get anybody online to buy this damn thing, right?

And I've been listening to all the bullshit that you get from the gurus, right? About like branding yourself, branding yourself, branding yourself. And I'm thinking to myself, and I was like, I bought into that. You know, I had my own blog, right? At calakani.com, I had my own blog up and I was trying to brand myself as this internet entrepreneur.

And, you know, it just kind of like hit me one night when I was watching that, that Empower Network sales video. I'm kind of thinking like, these guys keep telling me to brand myself. What the fuck does that mean? Am I supposed to go pick up my bicycle? Because I didn't even have a car at the time.

I was so broke. Am I supposed to go take a picture of myself with my bicycle in front of my mom's house and say, hey, follow me online. I'll teach you how to ride a bicycle and live with your mom. Bullshit, right? I've got no results.

So I got started with Empower Network and I didn't know what to do at the time. I'd been jaded by the industry, you know, buying all these products from guru after guru after guru after guru, just all swearing that it's going to be the thing that heals my pain, right? So I got started. I didn't know what to do. So I got started with $25 and I went through the eight core commitments and I said, okay, I don't know how this is going to work.

I don't know why I need to listen to audio every day. I don't know why I need to read every day, but what I'm doing isn't working, so I'm just going to do this. And one of the commitments was get on the Monday night calls. And so I started getting on the Monday night calls. Every Monday night, I just got on those calls and you guys kept pitching the event, right?

The Atlanta event had already passed, the San Diego event was coming up and you guys kept pitching this event. And I was kind of one of those people, right? Who sat on the call and I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, I'll get to your stupid event when this thing starts working, right? I'll get to your stupid event when you prove to me that I can make money here, right?

Like, how stupid is that? I look back at myself sometimes, like, wow, what an idiot I was, right? As if it's the thing that's going to actually do the work. And so I got on this Monday night call one night, and I was listening to Justin Varengia. And I'd seen Justin Varengia back, like, right before I got started.

And he's sharing all his breakthroughs that he got out of the event. And that's when I finally, you know, said to myself, all right, what if I have to get to the event to make it work? And at that time, I was walking around the shopping center here in Hawaii, so I had to go back home. I got back home, and I looked in my – I looked up – I pulled up my bank account, and I had $37 and some change in my bank account. That's all I had.

You know, when I start talking about, like, people talk about living paycheck to paycheck. I didn't even live paycheck to paycheck. I lived paycheck to about two to three days before the next paycheck, and those days I sometimes starved. I ate food out of a can, right? I didn't have money to buy groceries.

So I opened up my laptop, and I have $37 and some change in my bank account. I said, fuck it. I'm going for it. I'm going to make this work. So I went into my closet that night, and I pulled out stuff out of my closet, stuff that I had packed away because I had moved into a spare bedroom from my mom's house because I couldn't afford rent nowhere anymore.

So I pulled all that stuff out of the closet, and I started finding all the stuff that I could that I could sell on Craigslist, anything that had a little bit of value. I took pictures of it that night, and the next day I posted it on Craigslist. I went into my coffee shop, and I posted a note on the refrigerator and said, if you want to have a day off this week, Cali will take your day. Any day, any shift, call me. And I just got to work.

I started picking up as many shifts as I could. I started selling that stuff on Craigslist, and I got to the point where I was getting in trouble at my job because I was hitting overtime, and they didn't want me hitting overtime because then I got paid extra. But that was part of my master scheme so I could get to this frigging event. Right? And about three weeks later, I bought my ticket for the event, and I bought my flight.

And when I did, I was broke again. I didn't know where I was going to stay when I got up there. You know? And so I was talking to my girl about it, and she was like, well, I think we have friends in San Diego, right? So we went on Facebook, and we found some friends that we kind of knew that lived in San Diego.

And so I called them up, and I asked them if I could couch-surf at their place while I went to San Diego. And luckily, they agreed. In fact, they were even nice enough to say, well, we're not even working that weekend, so we can take you to and from your event. Awesome. So it all came together.

You know what's cool? I didn't even care if they said no. I was still going. If I had to sleep outside on the sidewalk outside of that convention center with just myself and my luggage, I would have done it because I wanted it bad. And so the day that I left to go to San Diego, I had to borrow $200 from someone so that I would have money to eat while I was up there.

So I was going to be up there five days, and all I had was $200, which really isn't much, you know? I mean, when you've got to feed yourself, right? And you're not at home. So that's what I had. And then I walked into the event the very first day.

And I remember asking myself, like, what am I doing here? You know? Like, I spent $800 getting here, and all I have is this $25 blog to sell. Because I didn't have any money to get all in. What was I thinking, right?

I get into this event, and I'm sitting in the audience. And it was about two hours into the event. And, Dave, you said something. You were talking about the struggles that Empower Network went through when it got started. You were talking about the banks shutting you down.

You were talking about getting on the phone with David Sharp, and you guys were in tears, right? Because you're watching your dream possibly go down the drain. And then you said something, man, that changed my life forever. And I'll always be grateful for you for this moment. You said, you kind of slammed your foot on the ground, and you said, when you have a dream, nothing can stop it.

I don't know what you did, man, but you embedded that in my brain. And it was that moment. Just that moment, right there, was worth every penny that I paid. It was worth every moment that I struggled for the eight years previously. I would have paid ten times the amount of money that it took to get me to San Diego just for that moment right there.

Because I knew I have a dream. And I've had a dream for a long time. And I've let stupid things stop it. And that's the moment I made the decision, not this time. Not anymore.

I'm going to go out and make it work. I'm going to make it happen. And so I left that event. And the rest of the day, the rest of the event was good. And we talked about getting to the event, and I'm going to tell you guys on the call, if you don't have an event ticket, get to the goddamn event.

Stop being a wussy, log into your back office, and just buy your ticket right now. And go. The event's where the breakthroughs happen. You know, I had every excuse not to go. And I still made it happen.

And I still showed up. It was the best damn decision I ever made in my life, man. Biggest transformation I had ever experienced. I had read lots of books about personal development, right? I read lots of books.

I attended lots of seminars. I had spent up until that point probably about tens of thousands of dollars on personal development seminars. And nothing compared to that one moment. That's when everything changed. And I left the event.

Came back home, still broke. I started asking my friends if I could borrow some money. And, of course, my friends, you know, they knew I was broke. You don't loan broke people the money, right? It's not a loan.

It's a gift. You ain't going to get it back, right? And nobody would loan me the money. And then one night, a couple nights after I got back home from the event, I was talking to my mom, and she was asking me how that event was that I went to and stuff. And so we were talking about it.

And at the end of that conversation, I asked her for the money. And she agreed. And the next day, my mom gave me the money. And immediately after she gave it to me, I walked out of the house and I went down to the bank. I deposited in the bank.

I came back home. I got on my laptop, and I bought everything. And then I went to work. About 30 days later, I was able to pay my mom back. Obviously, I'm not guaranteeing you an income, right?

Read our income disclaimer. I have another guy getting on. I have a master's course sale coming to me either today or tomorrow, whenever the guy turns in the form, right? So, the rest is kind of history. And so, how did I win this competition this week?

I want to get into that. I won the competition because I stopped making it about me. You see, when I first got started, I was broke. And all I wanted was to stop being broke. That's all I wanted.

I didn't have a vision. I just had a goal. I had a goal of not having to have a job anymore and of not having to freaking, you know, live paycheck to two to three days before the paycheck. I had a vision of not being so broke that I couldn't buy. You know, that year, 2012, August, it was my girlfriend's birthday, right?

Let me share this story with you guys real quick. It was my girlfriend's birthday in August that year, just before I left to go to the event, right? And her birthday was coming up, and I had no money, okay? And about two weeks before her birthday, we were at my mom's house, and my mom has this, like, home care business, right, where she helps people take care of their homes. And so, she had a box sitting on the table, and my girlfriend started looking in it, and there was purses in the box from one of her customers.

And she had to take it down to Goodwill when she got a chance. And my girl was going through those purses. And she found one that she kind of liked. And she said, oh, this one's really nice. Oh, I wonder why they're getting rid of it or whatever.

And then about two weeks later, her birthday was coming up, and I didn't have no money to buy her anything. So I walked over to my mom. I went up to my mom one day. I said, Mom, is there any chance that you got that box of purses that you have from your customer's house? She said, yeah, I have it.

It's in the closet. I haven't taken it down to Goodwill yet. I was like, can I take a purse out of it? She said, for what? I said, for my girl's birthday.

Right? 2012, my girl had been with me for eight years. And for her birthday, I gave her somebody else's trash. That's how broke I was. I remember looking at myself in the mirror, right, and thinking, this is what's come to it, 29 years old.

I've got to make a change. So when I got started here, you know, I just wanted to stop being broke. That's all I wanted. And I've gone on to do that. Right?

But now it's about much more than that. And on that journey, going from broke to making money to having my first five-figure month, on that journey, along the way, I saw people's lives change because of the work that we do here. I saw people's lives change because of the work that I was doing. And it became about more than just money. I get people all the time that send me e-mails and stuff, like you're just in it for the money.

Bullshit. Money is just a tool. Right? Just like you need a hammer and nail to build a house, you need money to build a dream. I don't care about money.

I care about two things. Two things. I care about who I become and character in mind to get rich, not the riches themselves. Because riches can come and go. But it's that character and that mindset that nobody can take away.

And because I build that character and because I can build that mindset here, I'll never be broke again. Maybe financially. I don't know what will happen financially. But internally, my internal wealth will never be broke again. And the other thing I care about, people.

Why am I successful in this business? Why am I successful in this business? Because I care about people. I have a dream. When I got started, all I had was a goal.

And today I have a dream. And Power Network and the work that we do here, and Dave Wood and David Sharp and these leaders here, they kind of ignited that dream for me. I don't care about the money. I mean, I'm grateful for the money. Right?

But it's not about the money for me. I have a dream of inspiring people. I have a dream of uplifting people. I have a dream of speaking life into people. I have a dream of being that thing that ignites that flame that is burning deep down inside of you when you're ready to give up.

I have a dream of lifting people up. I have a dream of inspiring other people's dreams. I have a dream of being the rain and the sunshine that makes that key deep down inside of you. That is your dream. I have a dream of being the thing that makes that seed grow.

Because I look out into the world, right, and I see a world that crushes dreams. Kids these days, they go to school, right, and they want to be an artist or they want to be, you know, a musician. And school, what do we do in school? We tell them, no, no, no. Hold on.

You need to learn how to do mathematics. Now, if you love mathematics, I don't have anything against mathematics. I just personally don't think that a child who wants to be an artist needs to learn how Joe the camel is going to carry 99 bananas across the desert at a wind shear of 30 miles an hour and how long it's going to take him. I don't think he needs to know that bullshit. So we have this society, these institutions, that just shatter dreams.

Right? Society just wants you to fit into the box. Just fit into the box. And if you don't fit in the box, then you know what? We're just going to label you.

You're hyperactive. You have ADHD. You have autism. You know what these labels are? Society labels things, I believe, because it's a way for society to ignore its own sickness.

And we have a sickness. We live in a world where it's a risk just to have a dream. It's a risk just to tell it to somebody. For God's sakes, Paul was thrown in a crazy house for having a dream. We live in a world that wants to shatter dreams because people have given up on their dreams, so they want you to give up on yours.

This world has a sickness, and I want to be a part of the cure. How did I make it to the number one spot on the leaderboard? Because I made it, and it's not about me. It's not about me. I have a dream.

I have a dream of changing the world. I have a dream of doing the work that we do here at Empower Network because I believe in what we do. I'm honored to bring people in here because we're going to treat them right. We're going to treat them good, and we're going to love up on them. And we'll believe in them even if they don't believe in themselves, right?

That's what Dave Wood did for me when he stood on that stage and said that stuff. When he stood on that stage and said that stuff, I felt it at my first event that these people really believe in me, and I was ready to give up on myself. I made it to the number one spot on the leaderboard because I saw people on my team hitting the leaderboard, right? And I just fucking made a decision. Like, fuck it.

I'm just going to go for number one. I'm just going to show everybody that it's possible that a guy who was working in a coffee shop who couldn't afford to get his girlfriend a gift last year or whatever year it was, 2012, right, who had to give his girlfriend somebody else's garbage for a birthday gift, that a guy who was that low in his life could turn it around. And so I just went for it. I went for it hard. And God damn it, Paul, thank you very much because you made me freaking stretch, dude.

You were kicking my ass. I was like, I woke up Sunday morning. I didn't even know how I was going to catch up, right? I got Dave Wood talking trash about, I don't think Cal is going to make it. He's probably going to sleep in all day, right?

Paul's already pulling out ahead again for the day. Cal is not going to do it. I was like, shit. I didn't know how I was going to do it, guys. When I woke up Sunday morning, or Sunday afternoon, rather, I didn't know how I was going to do it.

I just knew it had to be done. So I went to work. And I worked my ass off in front of my computer for the next six hours. I think I emailed my list like five times. And then I emailed my team and threw in a bonus to get them to upgrade to the Viral Blogging Academy.

So I think yesterday I got like six Viral Blogging Academy sales, I think. Three personals and then like three pass-ups. And I think I brought in like 11 or 12 people yesterday. Not because I wanted to make a ton of money. But I wanted to inspire people.

I wanted my people, my team members, to see that they can do it. I do want Empower Network to hear the story and know that you can do it. Because I have a dream. And part of that dream is inspiring your dreams. Part of that dream is helping you believe in yourself.

Part of that dream is awakening the dream that's inside of you that maybe you've covered up for a long time because the world snatched it from you. That's my dream. So I'm going to go out here. I'm going to be the example of what's possible. I'm going to go out here and I'm going to go and I'm going to go and I'm going to go and I'm going to go and I'm going to keep going.

You put a leaderboard out there, I'm going to climb that bitch. You put an obstacle out there, I'm going to break through that thing. So I'm going to be the example of what's possible. For you. So that you can see that you can do it too.

Everyone. All of you. Because someday, you know, maybe a month from now, maybe a year from now, there's going to be some guy who's broke, working in a coffee shop, who gets started here. On his last leg, losing almost every glimmer of hope. And hopefully he'll hear this inner circle call.

And he'll know that he can do it too. That's all I want. And I'll tell you this. Go out there and get your dream. And I ain't never going to quit.

I ain't never going to quit. You might quit on you. You might quit on Empower Network. You might quit on your dreams. But me, I ain't never quitting.

I'm not going to be in some new hot deal next month. And I'm not going to be in some new hot deal next year. Because it ain't about the deal. It's about the people. And I ain't abandoning no one.

I'm here to stay. That's all I got, Dave. Well, Keala, I don't really have a lot to add to that other than just you are a beast. You are a beast. And I can tell why you're moving on.

Now, here's what I'm also going to say, just from where you're at and what you're doing, is you're going to start to see something really interesting just by continuing to do what you're doing and what you're going to see. Because you've got people coming to the events, dude. And I would challenge you, and I don't know how many people you've got in the audience, but I would challenge you, and I don't know how many people you've got coming to Impact, I would challenge you to get at least 100 people there. And I think that you could do that, because if you do, it'll change everything. You know, Eric Worre actually taught me that a long time ago, that there's like kind of this threshold where everything changes when you get 100 people to an event.

And I've seen it again and again and again and again. Just get 100 people there. Trust me. So that was awesome. I'm inspired.

So, you know, guys, here's what I'm going to say. It becomes obvious when you listen why people are getting the results that they're getting, right? They're doing what we're teaching them to do. You know, a lot of times people come to those calls and it's like, you know, hey, you know, well, I got it, I got it, I got it. So follow the eight core steps.

But what's the secret, right? What's the secret? Relationships are intense, and video adventure is awesome, so what is the most important aspect of a budgetary financial plan? It is the amount of money you have in your pocket galvanized by other savings that drives all of your purchasing. How do you plan how you plan your finance through time?

make a commitment before you do it? How many times do we need to repeat the same thing, not for us, but for you? That is my question for you, is how moldable are you? Here is why I have been talking to Paul and here is why I have been talking to Kayala, and here is why I communicate with folks like this. I talked to Paul the other week and I told him to do something.

I said, ìHey Paul, here is something that will help you in your business.î You know what happened? The very next day, I saw him doing it. The very next day. He didnít say, ìOh, why do I do that?î He didnít say, ìOh, how do I do that?î He just went and he did it. How many times do we need to repeat the same thing before you just go out there and you start doing it?

Hopefully, not a lot of times. Now, here is the difference between a follower and a leader. A leader makes a decision quickly and they change their mind slowly. In fact, most of the leaders I know, they barely ever change their mind when they make a decision about something. They decide things fairly fast.

They say, ìI am going to do that. I am going to do this.î That is it, period. ìI am going to make it happen.î You donít see them changing their mind and flipping all over the place and joining deal after deal after deal after deal after deal looking for the secret because they donít need a secret because they have got it inside. I actually was talking to a guy on Facebook the other day and he is actually in another deal and he is thinking about coming back to Empower Network. He said, ìYou know when I broke through,î and I said, ìWhen did you break through, brother?î He said, ìI broke through when I was on a call with you and Dave Sharp.î Dave Sharp got up and he was on this live stream you guys did when you were out in Costa Rica.

Dave Sharp got up and he said something and it changed everything for me. He said, ìStop looking for the secret and start knowing that you have the secret inside. Stop looking for the secret and start knowing that you have the secret inside.î The secret that you are looking for is the secret that you have inside. All you need to do is go out there and act and step into the congruity of you speaking a vision, of you speaking a message, of you going out there with a dream to make something happen and people will start to flock around you like flies flock to honey. People will start to flock around you because people want to be inspired and lifted up by a vision.

People will start to take action around you because people will do anything to get close to the source of a great dream, to the source of a great vision. Thatís when I listen to Kyle, thatís when I listen to what heís doing. What heís doing is he is casting a vision with such faith and with such belief and with such strong words and with such conviction that it breaks down the doubts and the failures and the ìWill this work for me or not?î and the excuses people are making around him. They canít even remember the excuses because when he gets up and he says, ìThis is where Iím going, this is whatís going to happen, and it doesnít matter what obstacles stand in my way, thatís it, period,î he makes it happen. So, Kyle, I want to congratulate you on that.

I also wanted to cover a question I got given on Facebook. Iíve been making rant and raving on Facebook and people are commenting all over the place, ìBest call everî is what people are saying, so we need to make sure to share this out there in the marketplace. A couple of things. Iíve got a couple of people that have been asking, ìHow do I get my VIP tickets to the event?î Theyíre not actually up for sale right now, but youíll only be able to access it, you need to buy your tickets now, and itís going to be the same price. So, you buy your tickets now, and it will be an upgrade to attend the VIP session on Sunday, and that should be up in the back office, I believe in about two days.

So, go ahead and register and buy your tickets now because the event might sell out, and you want to get your tickets to the event that is closest to you before it sells out. If you question that, just log in and watch the sales video, click on the event tickets. We will not be discounting them to repeat that again, and weíre just done doing that. So, if you want to get discounts to future events, you need to be at the events and buy them in the room because we just arenít going to do it anymore. So, buy your tickets now, log in, and hereís why I believe that you need to buy your tickets and you need to take action.

This is the biggest thing because when you guys are on this call, this is mostly the people who are on this call. Itís people who are thinking about joining Empower Network and building a business, right? Thatís the number one category of people on the call, and number two is people who are in Empower Network and building a business, right? And if youíre not in one of those two categories, I actually donít entirely know why youíre on this call today. Maybe youíre just here for the value, maybe youíre here to take the inspiration and apply it somewhere else.

Youíre welcome to do whatever you want to do. Hereís the reality though, is that youíre either here to do one of those two things. Now, if you really want to break through, that requires me being honest with you. You know, that requires me telling you the truth about what this is going to take to succeed because I donít like to blow smoke. You know what I mean?

If I was going to blow smoke, hereís what Iíd tell you. Iíd get on a call and Iíd say, ìHereís how to succeed. Get five people. Theyíll get five people. Theyíll get five people, and youíll have 78,000 people, seven generations down, right, and youíll be rich.î And the fact is, is I donít ever say that, do I?

Because itís not true. If you want to succeed, hereís what you got to do. Go out there and produce. Go out there and make sales. Go out there and work.

Go out there and follow the three things that I call, that create what I call the Michelangelo effect, if youíre brand new, and go out there and start sponsoring and recruiting people, start making something happen. How do we make money in this business? We sell all of our products. and then by leading armies of people and leading a vision. Thatís what we do, and you heard that tonight on this call.

What is the common thread with everybody on this call if you listen to what all these people are doing? Whatís the common thread in what theyíre actually doing every day theyíre producing sales? They donít have a day where thereís no sales happening, I guarantee you. I guarantee you that Keola does not have a day that sales donít happen in his team. Heís going out there and heís making sales happen, heís going out there and heís getting people to make decisions.

Heís going out there and heís sending emails out, heís doing whatever it takes. I guarantee you thereís not a day where Paul Gardner wakes up without the mindset that today Iím going to bring in more sales than ever, and heís out there producing and making sales all day. That is how you make money in this industry, by selling products. Does that make sense? So hereís what you need to do.

You need to log in and buy your event tickets. Why? Because unless you commit to something, you cannot get other people to do it. Thereís some weird effect in the human mind. I think I know why it happens, but the truth is that I donít know exactly why.

The mind is kind of weird and strange, and you know, even neuroscientists, neurosciences in its infancy, we donít know all the things there is to know about the human brain. But hereís what I do know, I know that for some reason it is very difficult to commit people to do things that youíre not committed to, for whatever reason. So if youíre out there and youíre saying, ìWell, Iím going to dip my toe in the water,î guess what, youíre going to attract maybe one other person that says, ìWell, Iíll dip my toe in the water with you.î But guess who people donít want to follow? People donít want to follow people who dip their toe in the water. People donít want to follow people who say, ìIím just kind of trying it out.

I want to see if it works.î Well, guess what, youíre not going to see it working, because if you want to see it working, youíve got to make it work. Youíve got to go out there and make it happen. Youíve got to get people to make commitments. And this is about commitments, folks, and if youíre not getting people to make commitments, guess what? Youíre not going to make any money.

And guess how youíre going to get people to make commitments? Itís by making them yourself. Itís by stepping over that line. Itís by saying, ìNo, there ainít nothing else.î Hopefully, youíre listening on this call and youíre saying, ìI never heard anything like this before. I havenít ever heard success like this before.î Hopefully, you were one of the ones on the line, like I was.

I was listening to it, and I was thinking, ìGod, there ainít nothing like this. I donít want to pull out my credit card and buy.î But you know, the truth is, there ainít nothing like this. There ainít nothing where you got on a call like this, and youíre a guy who was a coffee shop worker a year ago. Let me repeat the pattern here, guys. Iím coughing.

Iím coughing. A guy who was an MMA fighter, whoís in his first deal, his first time in the industry, his first deal, sponsored 30 people last week. You donít see that, guys. Guess what you see a lot of? You see a lot of, ìIíve been in the industry for 20 years, and joined 20 deals, and now Iím succeeding.î Thatís what you see all over the industry, a guy in Power Network.

We got coffee shop workers who are doing it. We got people in this business who are MMA fighters who are doing it. We got people in this business who used to just be burnt out because being on the phone, they never succeeded, and theyíre doing it. We got people in Power Network whoíve never made anything happen who are doing it, and how are we doing that? Weíre doing that, guys.

We are doing that by being the best, by giving the most value, by continuing to answer our message, by continuing to help people make more money, by continuing to provide more value at the events, and if you want to get people to make decisions, youíve got to make a decision. A decision ainít, ìIím going to dip my toe in the water,î because the person whoís dipping their toe in the water, they ainít going to get anybody to do nothing, and I promise you that. Youíve got to go in the water, and youíve got to say, ìIím going to be baptized by immersion, man.î Thatís what Justin Berengi did out here when he came down to Costa Rica. He almost drowned. He went under that water, and he said, ìToday might be my last day.

Iím making it happen no matter what.î He didnít get up out of the water and say, ìOh, Iím going to dip my toe in the water. Iím going to go out there and try myself in life. Iím going to see if it works, and go out there and try to inspire with that message.î No, he said, ìIím making a decision. Iím making it happen. Where do you see that in this industry?

You donít. You see a bunch of suits and ties who are all Christians. Hey, well, we got Christians doing Empower Network, and we got them succeeding. And you know what the unique thing is here? You know, somebody hit me up on Facebook the other day.

They said, ìDavid, youíre excluding people by the way you talk.î I said, ìPeople I like to talk like that. Theyíre saying that.î And I was like, ìYouíre excluding people by being snooty, ainít you?î Because I got a lot of Christian friends who donít care about how I talk and say, ìHey, you know what? I ainít going to talk like that, but I donít care what you do, because you go out there with your message.î I said, ìIsnít it excluding people by being a little bit snooty about what youíre doing?î Thatís what I said to the person. You want to know why? Because when you look at my team, Iím the only one I know of in network marketing who built a company that has a hippie with long hair, followed by a Christian preacher, followed by an atheist, followed by a black woman, followed by a guy who looks like heís 12 but heís actually 22, followed by a nerdy-looking guy, followed by a guy that canít even speak English as his first language, and theyíre all making money.

I remember when we had our first mastermind group, and we had a new CTO at the time, a lot of you guys know, and he was sitting there, and he was scratching his head, because we had this mastermind group, and he was like, ìThese guys are direct sales leaders.î I was like, ìYeah, but the top guyís in the company.î Heís looking at me, and heís like, ìWell, weíve got an engineer.î Heís like, ìThat guy just looks like normal.î I was like, ìYeah, he used to work as a construction dispatcher. That was Chuck Marshall.î Heís like, ìYouíve got a black woman.î I was like, ìYouíve got an atheist.î Heís got somebody who looks like he lifts weights like eight times a day. Heís got Chris Jones in there. Heís like He-Man, and then another one, Aaron Raskin. He actually did play He-Man.

You know what? You look at all these people, and youíre like, ìThereís no commonality between these people at all.î And I said, ìYouíre wrong. There is a commonality between these people.î These are people that made a decision. These are people who said, ìIím going to the event.î These are people that said, ìIím following the eight-course steps.î Those are people that made a decision, and they didnít just say, ìOh, yeah, Iím going to the event.î They pulled out their credit card. They bought their ticket on the spot, and then they went out there to their team.

They said, ìYou better get to the event and tell me when you got your ticket, because otherwise you ainít getting on no more team calls.î Right? These are the people who went out there and made something happen no matter what. These are the people that went out there and said, ìHey, Iím going to have a dream. Iím going to have the dream. Iím sick and tired of somebody else having a dream.

Iím going to step into that power, and Iím going to run out of a group of people that know how to make something happen.î Thatís who makes this happen. What other commonality is there between them? Nothing. They got a dream, and thatís it. You know, you say, ìWell, do you got to be some sort of inspirational badass to do this?î No.

Why? Because the number three person in the contest last week was John M. Rose. And you canít get John M. Rose on a call.

Why canít you? Because he specifically has requested that we not ask him to do it, because he says, ìIím not going to do the calls, man. Iíll promote them all day and night. But, man, I pace around all day, and Iím just nervous. And you know what, John M.

Rose, you canít get him on stage. Iím going to have to drag him up on stage and try to give him a million dollar ring at the next event, and he wonít even get on stage. And heís made a million dollars in the power network. How do we get all these people? We get all these people by having a bigger vision, by having a bigger dream, by doing something a little bit different, and by telling you, ìHey, Iím going to pull new punches.

Iím going to make this happen by going out there and getting five, and get five, and some other network marketing fantasy bullshit. Youíre going to get this by going out there and making something happen. And by going out there, and youíre going to make it happen, youíre going to make some sales, and youíre going to make decisions along the way. And if you want other people to make a decision, then youíve got to make a decision. And Iím going to challenge you to stand up right now and make a decision, to stand up right now and say, ìIím bringing an army to the event.

î To stand up right now and say, ìIím being a part of the revolution.î To stand up right now and say, ìItís my time.î And hit yourself in the chest like David Sharpe was going and screaming about at the last event, and say, ìItís my time.î And to stand up and say, ìPower Network is my business, and Power Network is my vision, and Iím going to be the leader, and Iím going to be the one that inspires people. Iím going to be the one that leads armies at the events and fills rooms with thousands of people. Iím going to honor people at the events.î Thatís what this is about. And stand up and make a decision. Stand up and do this.

Stand up and make a decision. Get all in. Now pull out your credit card and buy your tickets to the event. And congratulations on making the decision. And I will see you at Impact, folks, in a city near you.

But if itís not a city near you, then go anyways and buy your tickets now before they sell out. And Iím looking forward to launching a peopleís revolution because thatís what this is about. Thatís what this is about. This is about you. You sitting in your chair, or standing up, or standing up, and just slapping yourself in the chest, walking back and forth, saying, ìIím going to be the one.

Iím going to be the next Paul Gardner. Iím going to be the next Kay Arla.î But no, youíre not going to be them because guess why? Because thereís only one you. And thatís really what I want to get across. See, I canít be Kay Arla.

I canít be Paul Gardner. I canít be Tony Rush. But I can be the best damn Dave Wood the worldís ever seen. Thereís only one you in the world. And the only thing Power Network is really missing.

And Power Network is missing you stepping into your power. And Power Network is missing your personality, your story, your breakthrough. Thatís what we need. We need you. We need you to make a decision.

We need you to show up. We need you to make a decision to stretch. We need you to make a decision that youíre going to do whatever it takes. We need you to make a decision youíre going to commit to be a core step. We need you to make a decision to say, ìI ainít doing nothing.

Iím just doing this.î We need you to make a decision to say, ìI am being an impact and Iím getting my tickets tonight. Iím going to post it all over Facebook.î And thatís what I want you to do. You bought your tickets to the event. After youíve bought them, go on Facebook and say, ìIím going to be an impact because Iím ready to impact lives.î Thatís what this is about. Iím going to be an impact because Iím going to impact lives.

Iím going to create generational leadership. You know the best thing about this call is generational leadership. I posted this on Facebook the other day. A lot of you guys have seen that. Itís because weíre on the call right now.

Weíve got Paul Gardner, whoís in Tracy Walkerís team, and weíve got Kayala, whoís in Lawrence Tamís team. And you look at that and Tracy Walker is somebody who was just a beautiful thing. It was just a beautiful thing to see her breakthrough to make a million dollars. But you know what the best thing is? Seeing one of your team members make a million dollars.

But you know whatís better? When one of their team members does it. When one of their team members crosses over the bridge. When one of their team members crosses over that line. Thatís what the best part is.

And you know what the best part of this call is? Weíve got two people on here who are second generation. And you know whatís going to be the better part? When one day, when one day, Paul Gardnerís on the call and heís got his million dollar rank and heís introducing somebody on his team who hasnít broke through. When heís introducing somebody on his team whoís a team member of a million dollar earner.

When Michelangelo Lopez is introducing one of his team members on the call whoís a team member of a team member of a team member of a million dollar earner. And when Cayola gets on a call and heís introducing somebody whoís ten generations down in teams of million dollar earners. Thatís what the best part of his business is. Is raising up generational leadership. Is raising up generational visionaries.

Is raising up generational leaders, thought leaders who change the world. Cayola got on this thing and he says, ìI have a dream to change the world. A man working at a coffee shop.î Who are you not contacting about the business? Who are you not reaching out to because you think, ìOh, they canít do it.î They have this emotional threshold that allows them to do things. That allows them to do things that they want to do.

And you got to make a decision. You got to have a dream. Thatís what this is about. So pull out your credit card, register for the event. I will see you at impact and folks, I will see you on the beaches of the world.

Congratulations on making a decision tonight. Letís lock arms, fight the forces of evil and go out there and change the world. Bye-bye.
