Okay, so we'll move on from credit cards. Let's move to real estate for a minute. Real estate is a little bit of a slower process, but there's a lot of possibilities in real estate as well. You've got some of the big ones, like if you own a house that has some equity in it, you could do a cash-out refinance. So you can go and you can actually go refinance possibly for a lower rate than what you're currently paying.
Go talk to a loan officer about it. Or another version of that, you might go get a home equity line of credit, a HELOC. And another example would be maybe you're not refinancing your entire home loan, but maybe you're just getting a second loan. And whatever. The payments are going to vary.
I'll just throw a rough number out there again. You talk to a loan officer for example numbers. So for those of you that do have that option, it's a cool possibility. And heck, don't let anything hold you back. Real estate is killer.
There's also creative real estate. There's creative real estate deals. For those of you that love real estate or are in the real estate game, there's so many things you can do with real estate. For instance, you can partner with somebody on a real estate deal and do part of it or figure out a way to do part of it and get in on the action. There's so much money that can be made in real estate.
It's a little bit slower, so it's not the best way to raise money immediately. But it's also a good way to – it's a good thing. For instance, for those of you that do borrow money or do get a loan, it's a nice little thing to be having in the background is just figuring out a way that you can partner in on some real estate deals or do something with somebody in real estate. It's just a good – it's where a lot of money changes hands. And if you can pull this off and get a lot of money to change hands, then there's just a lot of opportunities there.
So anything having to do with houses, with real estate, with brokering that – now, not illegally brokering it without a license. But what I mean is meaning. Brokering it with – brokering it just legally by simply hooking people up together. I mean, don't ask for illegal kickbacks from anybody. Don't do stuff like that.
Ask them. Say, hey, look, I'm looking to raise $5,000. I know you do real estate transactions. Go find a real estate investor. Say, look, I know you do real estate.
I know you do big money deals. I'd love to make it in the next 30 or 60 days or 90 days. Is there anything I can do to assist you in making money? And say, of course, legally. I don't want any illegal kickbacks or anything like that.
Is there anything available? What do you have going on? Do you need someone to help you bird dog deals? Do you need to line something up? Do you need to make something happen?
Heck, maybe they come to you and say they're looking for money. So, hey, if you can help us raise some money, we'd be glad to give you some of it. And you think, aha, I'm going through this course right now on the funding method. I'm learning all these ways to raise money. Maybe I can help these people raise money for their real estate.
At the same time, maybe when I'm out there finding people with money, maybe I can just make introductions and get a little piece here and there. Connect some people. Make a little middleman profit. Of course, do it all legally. And, of course, be smart in everything that you do.
