If you want to see the average earnings, please visit the page at www.empowernetwork.com forward Hey, what's going on, guys? Spyl CQ here. Cassandra Lee, and together we are The Power Couple. Welcome to another edition of The Inner Circle. Man, we love doing these audios with you guys.
We love it, man. You know why? It's number one, I love it because we've been getting some really good feedback, and the fact that you guys are listening to this, the fact that you guys are taking so much away from it, we're just truly grateful that it's able to touch you, impact you in the way that it has. The only thing is, are you taking the massive action on the things being said here? Not just with our audios, but every single one of the audios that are here in this Inner Circle platform.
It's very important that you're not just listening to this and getting aha moments, and getting moments of inspiration, but if you're not taking any action, what good are those moments? How long are they going to serve you, and how long are they going to last if you're not actually putting them into use, guys? That's really crucial. Absolutely. I'm pumped up, man.
We were just talking about something that's really powerful, right? What are certain things that are non-negotiable in your business? What are things that you absolutely ... There's no negotiating, it's just non-negotiable. It's like something that you live by, right?
Something that you must have to accomplish. It's no buts, no nothing. Right. Non-negotiables, we wanted to talk about this specific topic because when you have them, what happens is that you always, always fulfill it. Grant Cardone says it this way.
I don't even know if he says it. I think one of his friends says it this way, right? If you don't have always, you'll end up with nevers, meaning if it's like every day I will always blog, every day I will always market, right? If you don't have those always, what will happen is that each day you end up never doing it, right? You almost end up never really blogging.
You almost end up never really marketing. When you have these non-negotiables, what happens is you're putting standards, principles, you're raising the bar for how you decide to live your life or how you decide to grow this business. Let's talk about the power of non-negotiables too, baby. You can go ahead and start off with some of those things. It's powerful because the power of non-negotiables, it creates daily disciplines, right?
It creates disciplines. You know what? I think when we went to Cancun, Mexico for a seminar for our business, one of the things that we learned is really the only thing that separates people who are more successful than you are is just their disciplines, right? Their habits, right? They're just disciplined and they do things on a consistent basis and they're just non-negotiable.
There's so much power in not negotiating everything. Just think about the times where you said, you know what? I'm just going to do it later, right? Imagine if you had a non-negotiable in your business where what you say goes. I mean, what you say you're going to accomplish has to get accomplished.
No buts, no ends. I mean, you probably can see, you probably would have been a lot further in your career, in your business. And you know what? The same thing goes for us because you know what? We just recently woke up to the power of this.
We just recently woke up to what we need to do. I mean, we just recently started living life with more urgency. Absolutely. Non-negotiables puts you in a state of understanding the importance of consistency, of integrity, right? You know, what is integrity?
It's doing what you say, right? Keeping your word, doing what you say even when no one is looking. And the thing is that we as human beings just have this natural tendency to just, you know, say something, never follow through with it, right? Or you know, wither, wither through the wind. As the wind blows, we end up going wherever the wind takes us rather than saying, hey, I'm making the decision to succeed, I'm making the decision to win and manage that decision daily.
You know, we get so sidetracked by what the person on the left is doing, what the person on the right is doing. Hey, this person just got started recently and they're already on the leaderboards. Oh man, what are they doing? And you get so sidetracked and maybe you start thinking it's the company. You start thinking that it's, you know, everyone and their mother but you, right?
And this is crucial because what happens is you didn't have a non-negotiable, right? You didn't set one in place. You didn't set a standard. It's kind of like dating, right? You know, when you're dating and you're about to get serious, you kind of ask the questions, you know, like, okay, so is this, you know, are we serious?
Like what are we doing here? You start wondering what are the boundaries that are set here? You know, what is it moving forward? What is it that we're doing here, right? And when you ask those questions, the only purpose of you asking them is because you want to ensure that moving forward, you're both very clear on how to, you know, treat each other or treat the relationship on how to, you know, move forward, right?
And it's the same thing in your business. If you don't have these non-negotiables already written, like every day I am going to blog, right? Or for the next 90 days completely straight, I am going to build my business day in, day out and have one day a week off, right? Or I'm going to be on every Empower Hour call Monday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern, no ifs, ands or buts, right?
If you start setting up these non-negotiables, what happens is when somebody sets a challenge in front of you or somebody tries to confront that non-negotiable with, oh, there's a family party or, oh, your friends are going out tonight. Because you already set the non-negotiable, you're no longer going to sit there and just, you know, accidentally go to those parties or I think it's not a big deal. You're going to realize, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, I recognize this. I made a decision that on these days at this time, I'm going to do X, Y, and Z even if a party came up or even if my favorite TV show got on, right? We made these non-negotiables, therefore, when it comes up, suddenly you remind yourself of the importance of why you actually cannot go, why you have to pursue it, okay?
Now, baby, these non-negotiables, right, are in position to do what? Man, you know, here's the deal, right, guys? I mean, if you really want this to work for you and your business, right, if you really want to have non-negotiables, right, it goes down with you, man. Do you love yourself? Because, look, if you don't love yourself and you're okay with disrespecting yourself, it's not going to work, right?
You have to learn how to respect yourself, right? And this was a non-negotiable, you know, these non-negotiable things come in play because if you don't respect yourself, you're going to violate them. You're not going to follow through with them. You're not going to do anything with them, right? So, I mean, just start attaching some pain to, you know, these non-negotiables.
I mean, if you negotiate, if you compromise what you've set in place that are going to be non-negotiables, like the examples my wife gave just a couple of minutes ago, if you attach some massive pain to it, right, if you really, you know, attach a lot of pain where every time you compromise, what you're really doing is you're taking away from the promise that, you know, that God has for you or whatever, right? So, I mean, look, listen, it has to get to that point. It has to get so painful so you can really stop doing that. I mean, imagine that every time you compromise something you needed to do, okay, you literally got a thousand dollars taken away from your bank account, right? I mean, think about it.
It's the same reason why in today's society, when you pass a red light, when you violate the law, you get in trouble, right? There's a consequence, like people, there's pain in it, right? I mean, nobody likes to pay tickets, right? Nobody wants to get locked up for, you know, their entire lives for killing people. But you know what?
There has to be pain for people not to do it and there has to be pain for you to really, for you to just kind of walk away from doing something that you're going to regret. There has to be some pain. You have to establish borders, you have to establish laws, if you may say, in your life so you don't violate them, right? You don't violate them, right? Because at the end of the day, I mean, what we're saying and what we're sharing with you guys, you know, if you don't respect yourself, you're just going to, you're just going to, this is not going to matter.
This is not going to do anything for you. But if you do, there's something really powerful that happens that all of a sudden starts to change your life. Yep. Like I remember, I actually remember when I was a lot younger, you know, I used to compromise everything, man. So much so that I was just hiding who I was because I just wanted to be like everyone else, right?
I wanted to be like everyone else and because of it, I compromised my character, I compromised who I was, I compromised everything about me and at the end of the day, for people that didn't even like me, I mean, that's crazy, right? And the same thing with your business, right? You can't treat it that way. You can't compromise for others. You can't compromise.
Look, you literally have to look at what you're doing as a, as, as, as everything, you know, it has to mean everything to you because if it does, then what you really want and what you really want to accomplish in this business will come for you. It will just, it will manifest itself. Yeah, man. You got to ask yourself, you know, what would a life look like with consistent non-negotiables? How much faster would you actually achieve the goals you're looking to accomplish?
How much faster, faster would you actually live the reality of your dreams, right? How much faster would you accomplish it? How much faster would you have what you want? You know, so many times you're like, yeah, you're right. You know, I have done this, but then I, I backslide and I end up slacking off and all these things, you start putting all these excuses and you start giving up some of those non-negotiables and when that happens, you actually prolong or hinder seeing the timely manner of your success, right?
You hinder that. You don't see it ever and this is so crucial, man. The only reason for non-negotiable, the only purpose of it is, is so that it can serve you in accomplishing your goals and dreams. That's it. So they're not bad things.
You know, some people think that laws and all these things are annoying or rules, right? It's not that, guys. That's not what it's about. See, what it is about is you being able to finally, right, or take the actions to finally see the success you've always longed for. If you don't have these non-negotiables, you're always just going to leave it up to chance to be successful.
You're not doing anything intentional about your success. That's what non-negotiables are for. This is so crucial, man, because, I mean, right now, what I would do is I would pause this audio immediately. I would shut, shut our voices off and just say, thanks power couple. I'm immediately going to apply this right now.
I'm not even going to stop non-negotiable. I'm going to take action. That should be a new non-negotiable, too, is taking action immediately. No more taking action when it's convenient, right? Another non-negotiable is reading every day or listening to one of these audios every single day.
You got to ask yourself, you know, when are you going to start implementing them? It should be now. Now should be the time. So go ahead, shut this off, and immediately start implementing what we just said. What are the non-negotiables of your business and in your life?
Absolutely. So, I mean, welcome back. If you came back, you know, I'm guessing you stopped it. You're back, right? But, you know, forget about these laws and, you know, you feel like you're restricted.
Look, dude, we need laws. I mean, our body operates under laws. I mean, we have systems within systems. I mean, think about it. Imagine if all of a sudden, you know, we just, we didn't have laws inside of our bodies.
Our bodies would be chaotic. You know what I'm saying? It'd be crazy. I mean, all this stuff would be flowing through the wrong things and, you know, things would be coming out of the wrong way in the wrong pipe and, you know, things would just go crazy. I mean, you know, when you eat food, there's a specific hole that it goes to your stomach and then your stomach digests it and then it takes it.
You know, it's so many different things. You need laws. You need laws and, you know, forget about laws. Stop looking at laws as a way, as almost like a restriction in your life and look at them more as of allowing them to give you the freedom that you truly want. Yeah, man.
I mean, we're not telling you to be restricted. We're not telling you not to do, you know, to incarcerate yourself or to beat yourself up when you don't do it. But you know what? You need some pain, man. You really need these things in order for you to live the life that you want, right?
Because again, the only difference between people who are more successful than you is just the routines that they're doing, the disciplines that they do day in and day out. Absolutely. Right? Every single night. Yeah.
I mean, one thing we learned today was your reality is a reflection of your routine. And so, if you're not pleased with the current reality you have, the lifestyle you're living, the money that you're creating, the job you have or the job you don't have, you know, the house you have, the house you don't have, if you're not happy with your reality, all you have to do is change the routine that's giving you it, right? Because literally it's the routine that you have that is giving you that reality. You know, what you're doing on a day-to-day basis is giving you the reality you have. So if you don't like it, change your routine and you'll have a new reality.
And this is one way to change the routine is by setting non-negotiables so that way you can change up the routine that's going to actually serve you instead of work against you. Yeah, man. I mean, really powerful stuff, right? And, you know, I'm just excited, you know, because actually I remember when I was, you know, growing up when I was a lot younger, you know, I look back and I see a lot of things that, you know, I never had these non-negotiables, man. You know, it cost me so much time in my life that I could have enjoyed in so many different ways because I had non-negotiables.
I mean, you know, and it's going to cost you. I mean, how much is it really going to cost you to not sit down right now and write these non-negotiables? I mean, what are you willing definitely not to ever negotiate? I mean, when you look at an iPhone, let's say, right? I mean, you go to an Apple store, dude, they ain't going to negotiate that price, right?
Why not? Because they know who they are. They know the value that they possess, right? And guess what? You have a value.
You have an eccentric value. You are valuable, okay? You are worth more than what anyone has ever told you, okay? You're worth a lot, a lot. I mean, you're worth.
I mean, so, I mean, if Apple, right, has, understands their value, so when people try to negotiate, they'll be like, no, keep it moving. We know what we're worth. We know what we carry. We know what we're capable of. We are Apple, right?
We are an iPhone, right? Well, what if you started talking to yourself like, what if you started talking to yourself like that, right? And all of a sudden, you know, this little inner voice that wants you to compromise, wants you to be lazy, wants you to go out and do something you're not supposed to be doing or something that's going to compromise, right? What if, what if all of a sudden you understood your value? What's your, what's your true value?
What are you truly worth, right? You know, and the truth is, right, you'll, you're never really going to see what you're worth unless you actually take the time and figure out what your purpose is, right? What's your purpose, right? What's your purpose? Because when you figure out what your purpose is, right, then you understand the true value that you serve on this earth, the true value that you'd serve on this planet.
And because of it, you understand that you can't negotiate anything because you need, you have a purpose. It's, it's, it's a higher calling, right? Yeah, man, this is so, so powerful, man. This is some powerful stuff that we're talking about, guys. You know, when I was a kid, I was like in eighth grade, seventh grade, and I was sitting in this classroom.
And you know, when the teacher would teach and I'd pay attention, but there was this like really distracting poster, you know how like some classrooms, they put posters up, you know, readers are, I mean, leaders are readers, you know, things like that. And I remember I was sitting next to this one poster that was by the door, and I would look at it. And it was, it stands out like till this day, I can describe, I remember not only how the poster looked, not only what it said, but the thought process I had after reading it. And every day I would actually look at that thing, and just continue pondering about what it stated. And I'm sharing this story with you, because it has a lot to do with this topic.
You know, I look at that thing. And the poster would say, if you stand for nothing, you fall for anything. And the way it was written, it was really animate, right? It had like the word stand really tall, like, you know, standing, and then for nothing was like small, right? And then you'd fall for anything was like the words were falling apart.
And it was such an animated picture. And I remember like repeating it, repeating it, repeating it in my head, and, and getting the Wow, that's a really powerful, you know, line. And so I began to think about, you know, what are some things that I'm going to stand for? And I thought about that at that age, in fact, so much so that, you know, I led into my high school career with that with those standing stand, you know, what am I going to stand for? I went into that high school career with principles.
So I didn't get distracted by peer pressure, or I didn't get distracted by nonsense. I walked in with standards. And anyone could tell you really, you know, how I operated myself in high school, it was very different. I didn't go with what the crowd stated, you know what I'm saying? And this is so crucial, because it's the same thing here.
Look, if you're standing for nothing, you're falling for anything in business. And how long do you want to continue to fall for anything? Because the more you continue to fall for anything is the longer and longer and longer you are going to never see the things that you want. I don't know if never is the right word to use. But man, if you actually want to make it a reality, if you actually want to say, yes, this is what I'm going to do, I'm actually going to have if you if you want to see it for the first time, instead of having this idea of what success may look like, or an idea of what time freedom and financial freedom may feel like, instead of making it an idea and actually making it your reality.
It's by standing for something. It's about putting the non-negotiables in place and taking massive action on them. Don't just write them and look at them and go, oh, these are cute, right? Actually write them, read them, say them, live them, become them. The more that you become them, the more that you'll be the best version of yourself.
And that's what you're ultimately looking to do. Absolutely. I mean, I couldn't have worded it better. You know, guys, and you know, what should your action plan be right now? You know, ask yourself the question, you know, what are some non-negotiables that you're going to state that you're going to do in your life that you will honor, that you're going to honor?
All right. You see this whole, I mean, think about it. You know, when you look at anything, when we honor, I mean, one of the things that we honor in this country is the freedom that we have, right? And every time they put the song or the Pledge Allegiance, right, I mean, when I was a kid, you know, every morning, you know, through the speakers, you know, we had to say the Pledge Allegiance, right? And we would all honor that, right?
We would stop what we were doing, okay, the teacher would be teaching or whatever, and then, oh, the speakers went on, all of us would have to stand up, all of us would have to put our hand on our chest, okay, and we would have to repeat the Pledge Allegiance, right? When we were young kids, right? Why? Because we, that was a non-negotiable, right? That was a non-negotiable that we had to honor.
I mean, what are certain things in your life that you're neglecting to honor, even though they deserve to be honored? You deserve to be honoring things right now in your life. What are those things? Because you know those things. You know those things.
I mean, we're not stupid. I mean, I'm not stupid. You're not stupid. You're a smart person. I'm sure you are.
And you know that right now there are certain things in your life that you know you're not honoring. You know you're not reading. You know you're not listening to enough audios. You know you're not taking enough action. You know you're not blogging every day.
You know there's something right now in your business that if you just begin to start giving more attention to it, you begin to start honoring it, and you begin to start doing it, it was a non-negotiable, you'd be at the place that you'd want to be, right? I mean, it's as simple as that. It's doing what others don't want to do. I mean, you're a special kind of person. If you're in business, it's because you believe that you should have more and better things, that you're worthy of better things.
And that's awesome. Everyone gets into business so they can live the life that they want, but you have to first understand in order to live the life that you want, there's a certain type of person that only gets to live that type of life. And I'm not talking about you are like, you have to be gifted, or you have to be talented. No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying that there's attributes and qualities that you need to obtain, okay, in order so you can become that person.
And it's through that person that you can actually step into that life. Are you willing to do what others don't want to do? Are you willing to sit down right now and write, write down on your notebook, on your piece of paper and say, what are non-negotiables that I will start honoring? Look, if you do, if you just sit on this information and you do absolutely nothing with it, look, dude, you're not going to get far. I mean, what's the assignment?
Write down your non-negotiables inside of your business, inside of your life, inside of your family's life, right? I mean, one of the things that I wrote down here from my family is, you know, date nights. Me and my wife, I said, you know what, from now on, this is non-negotiable. No more third wheel parties, nobody. Date nights is date nights.
Not disrespecting my wife or letting anyone disrespect her or put her down. Enjoying family time and not thinking about business, right? Living life, a life of purity, right? Without sin. You know, going to church every Sunday, no matter what, right?
These are some of my non-negotiables, all right, for my family and for the things that I do with my family, right? You know what? And you know what? You should do non-negotiables, not just for your business, for everything in your life, right? Yep, absolutely, guys.
Man, we hope you enjoyed this Inner Circle audio. Go ahead, take action on it immediately before you even listen to another audio or before you go about the rest of your day. Take action on this right now, guys. This is The Power Couple.
