If you want to see the average earnings, please visit the page at www.empowernetwork.com forward Hey, welcome everyone. This is Peter Sorensen, and welcome to this first part of a two-part training series for the Empower Network Inner Circle Audio Training. In this call, over the next hour or so, however long I go, I'm going to actually share with you really the number one thing, or two of the things that really have been the key to my success. For those of you that don't know me, again, I'm going to share with you what I've done, what I've been able to do to be able to go from literally zero, just getting started in this business in the online marketing industry a couple of years ago, to produce literally over $200,000 in affiliate commissions with my main business, and to be able to do that with less than 200 basic customer sales. Now, I share that with you not to impress with you or entice you or anything.
In fact, my results aren't typical. You can see an average earnings disclosure at EmpowerNetwork.com forward slash income dot php. I'm going to be sharing with you as an example, as one of my main businesses has been with Empower Network, but again, these strategies will apply to any business. If you're selling any type of product, whether it be $1,000, $3,000, $5,000, $10,000, or even more. Before I get into the information with you and share with you how I do a one-on-one strategy session with my new customers, my new team members, the format, the structure, some of the scripts even that I use in my business that you can model or apply if you're in our Empower Network business, or if you're in any other business, you can just model the principles to use when connecting with your customers, your clients, your team members, and you're selling to them a higher price point value product or opportunity, whether that's in person or over the phone.
These are going to be strategies that you can implement in your business and have a lot of success. Before I get into that, I want to just share with you a quick background of how I got here and why I'm talking on these topics and really how I got known to be the get money guy and the guy that closes back end sales. It wasn't that long ago, a few years back actually, 2007, I was actually a young entrepreneur, 22 years at the time, pursuing real estate, and I came across what's called a top tier direct sales organization. In that system, in that process, I won't go into too much detail in other calls and so forth. I'll share more about that story.
At that time, I had to learn how to be able to connect with my members, my prospects, how to be able to share the value, how to be able to share the compensation plan, how to get people to see the bigger picture of what I call a dual income opportunity where they could take information and resources like the Empower Network training products for instance and apply them to any business to be able to make money as well as if they wanted to be an affiliate, they could also be a reseller or an affiliate of that information and actually make an income that way. I called it a dual income. They had a couple of different ways to make income. These strategies and the concepts that I'm going to share with you and how I do my one-on-one strategy sessions today in my business have been learned and developed over the years from a lot of successful mentors. My good buddy and friend Chris Record taught me a lot when I was first getting started and people like Dave Wood, the founder of Empower Network, I've learned so much from when it comes to being able to build the value, be able to sell your vision, share your vision, be able to share the value of your products, your services, what you're doing, your business opportunity, if there's a compensation plan attached to it, share the bigger picture and value of that so that people in your business understand the bigger picture and they understand the value and that they can make an educated decision for themselves if this is something they want to move forward with, go all in on your business, and that allows you to be able to earn some big commissions if you're an affiliate or if you're selling any type of other product that's a higher end, higher price point product.
In a nutshell, in this training call, I'm going to share with you what I do, how I first connect with people, questions I ask them, how do I create what's called a well-formed outcome so they get clear on their goals. I really drive down their goals. I'm going to share with you some questions and some tactics of what I do to dive deeper in their world, to really build that bond and that rapport with my new team member or my customer, how to position yourself as the authority, as the expert, and then how to really dive into selling in a way that's selling without selling. That really is consultative sales. You're there to help coach and guide and mentor your new customer, your new team member to help them achieve their goals.
This isn't about hard closing and selling so much as it is about education and consulting and guiding them and just getting them to see the bigger picture and understanding really what they have their hands on and the opportunity that you're giving them. I want you to, if you're not already, take notes. Take a notepad, a pen, or if you're on a computer, type on a notepad, whatever works for you because if you get good at these strategies and you apply them in your business and you apply them with your customers and your team members, it can have a life-changing, income-changing benefit and impact on your business. Because if you do this right, if you apply this information in this call, what's going to happen is your people are going to want to move forward. They're going to want to buy your high-end products.
They're going to want to go all in your business, but the only thing that's going to stop them, if anything, is the money. The number one objection people have is money, so I became good at overcoming that objection, learning not only some strategies that I'll share with you how to overcome them, but getting creative at helping people find the resources, helping them come up with the funding, helping them have the right mindset to go out there and know how to raise money or borrow money if they need to for their business, to launch their business, or to find the resources to tap into their unconscious and get motivated to do what it takes. That's what's allowed me to have success and what's allowed me to help other people have success by getting good at these two skill sets. If you're not taking notes, again, take notes. My name is Peter Sorensen.
If you get value from this call, I'd love to hear about it, but here's the bottom line. Let's just dive right into it. Number one, you just made a sale in your business. Let's say ... I'm going to give an example as a Power Network affiliate because that's been my main business that I promoted over the last couple years, but again, this information really works for anything you're selling.
In online marketing, generally, you're going to have a front-end product, a front-end low price point offer that you're going to market to create a sale, to create a buyer, to create a customer, to create a team member on a low price point product. What this does is this allows you to create that initial buyer's list and rapport. I'm not going to get into the marketing, I have other training products and stuff that teach you how to do that. I'm going to assume, hey, you've got some team members, you've got some new customers. Now you're going to reach out to them.
You're going to reach out to them to assist them and help show them the bigger picture, help show them the bigger price point products and all the opportunity that you have to promote, to market, to sell, et cetera. The first thing I want to do is a couple of things. Number one, I would suggest setting up some type of a system to be able to have your new member fill out a survey. Ask them some questions about their goals, their resources, what they want, what's their dream lifestyle look like. You can use resources like the surveys, there's different survey resources out there for them to create a survey.
This is really just so you get an initial gauge on your customers, your team member. If you don't know them especially, so you can learn more about what their goals are, how much money they want to make over the next 90 days, who's going to benefit from their goal. These are some questions that you can put in the survey. Hey, if you really take this thing seriously, are you willing to pay it forward and teach other people, or do you just want to make money for yourself and don't care other people? You want to get an idea of the type of person you are working with and that you want to work with, that you want to help.
You want to ask them, how much money do you have set aside for your business? Just right out the gate. Is it someone that has a lower level mindset of like, hey, I've got nothing, no money, or I don't want to put any money into it? Or someone that's a little bit more entrepreneurial minded, understand it takes money to make money. There's cost of investments in any business, in any education platform.
What maybe assets do they have, startup capital, things like that. What's their budget for monthly marketing, advertising? What's their dream? What's their why? What's their lifestyle?
How much money do they want to make? What's that going to get them? These are questions that I'll then ask them over the phone when I have this one-on-one strategy session. If you can get some of this information beforehand, if they're coachable, are they teachable, are they going to take action, how many hours a week do they have to be able to invest in their new business? If you can get some of this information ahead of time, that will help you guide them and be able to understand who you're talking about before you ever get on the phone with them, before you ever get on a Skype call, a Google Hangout, or maybe even meet with them in person.
No matter what the modality is of connecting and working with your new person. You can use surveys, there's different survey platforms out there. You can then connect them to what's called a time trade, something like that, to where you can connect your new customers to be able to schedule an appointment with them, to be able to set that calendar, hook up with the calendar. Again, that's just a couple of logistic basics to help you kind of pre-frame and to kind of pre-sell, if you will, the people you're going to be working with and talking to on these one-on-one strategy sessions. Let's dive into, okay, now you're on the phone with them, you're on a Hangout, you're in person, whatever.
You want to start off by first, number one, just connecting with them, okay, getting to know them, building rapport. There's something I learned a long time ago by a famous trainer in the network marketing industry and that was the acronym FORM, F-O-R-M, and it's an acronym, stands for like, F stands for family, O is occupation, R I learned is recreation, and M is for motivation or money. So that is essentially is asking them questions just to get to know them, you know, asking them, especially if you don't already know them, things about, you know, are they married? Do they have kids? Are they single?
You know, just getting to know about their background, where they're from, you know, what do they currently do for a living, right? What have they done in the past? You want to ask them, okay, have you ever done online marketing? Have you ever made any money online in the past, right? Have you ever done network marketing in the past?
You know, have you ever done, whatever it is, you're going to ask them questions about essentially whatever type of business or product that you're promoting as it relates to that product, right? So in the past, I was in a real estate business, I might ask a question on, hey, have you ever bought any real estate? Have you ever invested in real estate before, right? In my online marketing business, I would say, you know, have you ever made money in online marketing, right? In my network marketing business, I'd say, have you ever made money in network marketing?
Have you ever done any, you know, business opportunities in the past? If so, what? So you want to get an idea because here's the thing, guys, these are going to be things that you can leverage further on in your conversation but also they're possible objections. So if you know they've had some bad experiences in the past with a business or something similar or, you know, maybe they've lost money in the past, you need to know that up front because you need to be able to overcome that, quote unquote, that objection or that skepticism or really just the fear, right, helping people overcome the fear that, you know, their past doesn't have to equal their future, right? We've all, maybe you can relate to a time in your life and remember a time in your life where, you know, you did something, you tried a business or you bought a product and, you know, you didn't get what you hoped for, you didn't make the money that you thought you'd make or you didn't get the value that you'd get and so that has people become fearful or skeptical of making new decisions, making new powerful decisions, right?
And so if you're going to lead them, guide them, be their mentor, be able to assist them to be able to be a leader in this industry, then you got to encourage that confidence and part of encouraging that confidence is knowing right up front, you know, is there anything you got to work on that in the past that they've done that's going to be, could be a hindrance, okay? So you want to ask them questions about that, about their occupation, their business, what do they do currently, right, their career, their background, you know, ask them, again, recreation, what do they do for fun, do they want to travel, what do they like to do with their spare time? You ask them questions like, hey, Bob, if money wasn't an issue, what would you do with your time, you know? Hey, Mary, you know, if I could help you make 10 grand a month and, you know, let's say that was their goal, let's say you're making 10 grand a month, right? You've got the time freedom, you know, what would you do with your time, what do you want to do with that money?
What's important to you, right? And that kind of leads to the next questions, which is about money, which is about their motivation. You know, what's driving you? I'm going to ask, hey, you know, hey, John, what's driving you to, you know, start your new business? What's driving you to learn how to make money online?
What's motivating you to be able to do something? Because hey, let's face it, you know, you're a top percenter. Most people in the world, you know, aren't looking at doing something new, aren't looking at really bettering their lives financially, aren't starting a new business, right? So you're special, right? You're not alone.
And at the same time, you're special, right? So what's motivating you? What's driving you? So you want to take some time, 5, 10, whatever minutes, to ask them these questions, to build that rapport. And also, again, you're looking for ways to find out information that allow you to be able to use later on in your conversation.
So when they tell you, if they tell you an objection, for instance, you say, wait a minute, I thought earlier you said you wanted this, and you said you're serious and committed about that, right? So you're able to hold people accountable. And that's what, again, what a good coach does, what a good mentor does, is hold someone accountable, right? You know, years ago, my mentor would say, hey, Peter, you know, I can tell you what you want to hear, or I can tell you what you need to hear, which would you prefer? And I'd say, you know, tell me what I need to hear, right?
Because even if I don't want to hear it, I know that my coach, my mentor, my partner has my best interest at heart, knows that if I make money, he makes money, so it's in his best interest, or her best interest, to help me, right? And tell me what I need to hear, okay? So this is kind of the first chunk, this is the first section of a one-on-one strategy session that I will do with a mentor, or sorry, a new customer, a new team member. The next part of that is, again, I want to get them, before we get into what to do, before we get into the money, before we get into, you know, the other products, and understanding the comp plan, and, you know, asking them questions, and giving them a guidance on, you know, what to do in their business, I want to get clear on what it is that they, you know, why it is they want this, right? And this is what's called creating a well-formed outcome.
Now I'm actually not going to spend a lot much time about it, because, you know, I've actually learned this from great leaders like Dave Wood, we actually have training just on this whole topic, in the 15K formula product that we have, as well as the master's course. And so I won't take too much time, if you have those products, definitely you can go through that. I know module one, the 15K formula, helps you to create a well-formed outcome, Dave Wood teaches you how to do that, and if you don't own that product, definitely get it. But I will share this, basically, it's questions to ask people to get clear on what they want, why they want it, okay? So let's say, you know, a common thing, someone in my business will say, you know, hey, what do you want to make?
You know, how much income do you want to make on a monthly basis that will allow you to live kind of your ideal lifestyle, right? Seven, eight, 10 grand a month. So I said, okay, great, so you want to make 10 grand a month, Mary. All right, so you're making 10 grand a month, what will that do for you, okay? If you're making 10 grand a month, what will that do for you that you can't currently do right now?
And Mary might say, well, you know, Peter, if I was making 10 grand a month, I'd be able to, you know, pay off my dad, and I'd be able to, you know, take some of the vacations I want to take with my family, I'd be able to, you know, be able to travel more, obviously, I'd be able to, you know, even grow my business, make even more, right? I said, okay, great, so you're able to travel, you're able to be debt free now, Mary, so once you do that, once you're, you know, debt free, and you're traveling, you're enjoying life, you're spending time with your family, what will that get you that you don't have right now? What will that get you that you're not experiencing right now? And she might say, well, Peter, you know, I would just feel, that would help me get more, you know, confidence, so that would help me get more security. Okay, awesome.
So how do you know when you have that confidence? What's your life going to be like? And so what I'm doing is I'm digging deeper, I'm going past just the surface level of, you know, I want to make 10 grand a month. I'm getting people to connect the money to the dream, the state of being, right? The deeper level of motion that they can begin to experience right now, the deeper level of motion of, you know, peace, security, right, confidence.
These are things that I, in my experience, when I dig, when you dig a little deeper, that people, that's what they really want, right? The money is a reflection of that, right? And so if you can help people get clear on that, again, this is going to allow you to be able to help assist them in making bigger decisions, making powerful decisions, being able to move forward in their business, okay? So once you get clear on that, once you kind of, you sense that they get it, and many times you'll notice, let's say on the call or especially if you see them in person, you'll see their body language, you'll see their voice kind of soften or deepen, right? You might even see them tear up sometimes or hear them, you know, their voice crackle because they're beginning, maybe for the first time in a long time, really get connected to their dreams, their goals of what they want and really why they want it, right?
And so I can't tell you how important this is and what a profound difference this can make. If you can, so many people just skip past, okay, you want to make 10 grand a month, okay, great. So how many hours do you have to work and, you know, how much money do you have to get started? All those are good questions, but if you take some time, help them kind of form this well-formed outcome a bit, ask them these questions, dig a little deeper. This can be the difference between having a $100 call and a $1,000 or a $5,000 call.
This is going to be the difference between your member just kind of getting going and dipping their toe in the water versus getting all in on the business. So this is really critical. All right. So here's the next part. You've done that.
You want to get clear that, hey, before we go any further, success or failure is ultimately up to you. You've got to get them to realize that it doesn't matter what's happened in their past, but from this moment forward that you take full responsibility for your life. You take full responsibility for your business, for success, and that are you going to commit to do what it takes to be successful? So you get them to get clear about them making that commitment, not to you, not to the company, not to the products, but to themselves. And that everyone that's successful in life committed, they made a decision that they were going to be successful.
They realized that no matter what it would take, no matter what bumps in the road, no matter what challenges, because successful people, we all have challenges. We all have fears. We all have worries. We all have doubts. The difference is we act in spite of fear.
We act in spite of fear. We take action regardless of how we feel. So you want to get clear, help your members get clear on that. You also want to begin to, again, ask them, kind of goes with the well-formed outcome of why it is what they're doing. Who's going to benefit from this?
That way it's not just about them. They get, oh, it's my family or my kids, or I want to be an impact for my kids. I get that a lot. I want to be able to set an example for my family, for myself even. One of my big whys is I want to be able to make a difference for when I have a family.
I want to be able to pay it forward and be a strong, successful man, because I didn't really have that growing up. I grew up with a single mom, three kids, two older sisters, grew up around a lot of women. There wasn't a lot of strong, male, successful role models in my life. And so one of my big kind of whys always has been I want to be able to make a difference in people's lives. I want to be able to make a difference if and when I have kids to be able to do that.
So I get that a lot from members. So you want to get them to get clear on why is it important for them to do this and why is it important for them to do this now. Why are they committed to making this happen now? So if you're selling a product, a high-end coaching, or you're selling a power network and you're helping them get all in and own all of our core training products that teaches people about internet marketing and how to build a business and how to be a top recruiter and producer and how to build a business while having a life. Whatever it is that you're marketing or selling on that next level stage, if people know why it's important for them, they know what they want, they know why they want it, they begin to believe, okay, as I'm going to share with you in the next part of this training, they begin to believe that they can actually do it, then they'll get to a place where they want to do it.
And now they realize, okay, I've got to make this happen now because if nothing changes, nothing changes. So one of the things I learned in sales a long time ago was, what if, what else, why not? That is, asking them and telling them, what if this could be the way for you? What if this could be the vehicle for you to help you finally achieve your goals and your dreams? Would it be worth it to you?
What else do you have going on in your life that could get you to make 10 grand a month? What else could you do to help you accomplish XYZ benefits, XYZ outcomes? And then, why not? Why not do this? Why not now?
Look at all the success, look at all the stories. If they can do it, you can do it. When I first got started, I saw all these successful people in our business, like Dave Wood and all the other leaders, and Lawrence Tam, and so many of the incredible leaders that we have, and Justin Varengia, and all the other top earners, and Aaron Rashkin, and the list goes on and on and on. My buddy Chris Record is having awesome success when I was first getting going right out of the gate. And so, so many incredible leaders, it's like, you know what, if they can do it, if he can do it, if she can do it, I can do it.
So you want to begin to implant that belief, that suggestion with your customers, your team members, and let them know if any one human being can do it, they can do it. None of us are special. There's no difference between me and you. Maybe if you're listening to this call, maybe you're just getting started, maybe you haven't had a lot of success yet financially. There's no difference.
The only difference is maybe time. Maybe I've been doing this longer, and or I've learned some things, I've learned some skills like what I'm sharing with you right now to help make sales, to help make big sales. So anything in that, all of that's a learnable skill. I just want you to get that. One of my mentors, T.
Harv Eker says, every master was once a disaster. I'll say that again. Every master was once a disaster. So everyone who's great, everyone that you look up to, inspire to, like, man, I wish I could be like that person or have those results. They once were new.
They once sucked what they did, right? I once never had a clue. In the first four years of my network marketing, kind of direct sales industry, I literally maybe signed up a few people, made maybe a thousand bucks in like four years. I spent and invested, guys, tens of thousands of dollars in my education, on training, on coaching, on mentors, learning how to make money in real estate. Tens of thousands of dollars before I made that money for years, right?
And so now you've got a platform and you've got calls like this and Inner Circle and the other training products and Empower to be able to learn how to shorten that learning curve, right? How to be able to do things leveraging technology, leveraging, becoming effective as well as efficient, right? So again, every master was once a disaster. So if you apply these things, you can begin to really get good at them and help other people in the process. So I want you to get clear on, number one, that you can do this and you can begin to install that belief in your members that they can do this too, okay?
So let's move on, let's move on, I'm going to grab a little sip of water here. All right, so next piece, okay? So once I've got them that, I want to get clear on a couple of things. Number one, I want to get clear on again what their goals are, I want to get clear on again how much money they want to make, I want to get clear on, okay, if they're going to do this part-time, how many hours a week do they have to commit to their business, okay? And I want to start to get an idea and get a feel of their resources, their mental, what they think they have, because many times people don't know what they have financially or the resources or they don't think they have money, many times they do, they're just not willing to part with it yet, okay?
So I'll go into more in the other part two of the training series about money and overcoming that objection and how to find money and help people part with their money, okay? But for now, just get an idea of, you know, do they have money set aside for their business? Do they understand there's other products, that there's higher level coaching and mastermind and that people want the best of the best, that they want coaching, they want mentorship, they want guidance, they want all the resources. Well, like any business, like any education, right, there's a cost, there's an investment, right? And so you want to ask them questions, get an idea if they're thinking about this, do they have an awareness of that yet, right?
And then you're going to want to go into understanding and sharing the value of what your education, your training products, your services, okay? This is where you're kind of selling the value of what you're selling, right, okay? So in my business, when I share about Empowered Era, for instance, I'm going to share about the education, I'm going to share about the value of the curriculum that we have, kind of compare it to an online marketing university. I might say to John, hey John, you know, did you ever go to college? And I say, yeah, I went to college.
And I might ask him a question, did you spend, you know, how much money did college cost? Did you, you know, go to college? Well, you know, it was 10 grand, 20 grand, 40 grand, whatever, right? Many times it's, you know, especially nowadays, 10, 20 grand a year, right? So 40 grand even for a college education over four years is very realistic.
So let's say it's that, right? And I say, okay, well, let me ask you this, did the college also allow you to refer other students to the college and allow you to get your education for free? He goes, no. Okay, well, of course not, right? How awesome would that be, though?
Well, here's what's cool about Empower Network, for example, it's my business. I would share it. You know what? Empower Network has got this incredible curriculum. It can teach you the skill sets of marketing, right?
The number one really skill in business, which is how to market, how to know your target market, how to attract people to you instead of chasing people down, right? How to be a top producer and recruiter in your business. How to be able to, you know, do effective marketing online. How to leverage email marketing, YouTube marketing, Facebook marketing. How to do paid traffic.
How to be able to build a business, be able to build a following, build a tribe. All of these different things, right? These are in our core product line, right? And so, you know, our core product line is, you know, say a few thousand dollars, what have you, whatever the case may be. But the bottom line is, when you compare that to a traditional university, here's what's cool, John.
You know, in a traditional university, it takes you years to, before you're actually able to then go out there in a career, get a job, be able to make that, be able to make an income, right? Be able to pay off your student loans or whatever, maybe. Versus in something like this, in this business model, you can take the education and while you're applying it to any business, learning the skill sets of how to market anything to anyone from anywhere in the world, as long as you've got a laptop and internet connection or internet connection, and you can learn the skill set. And while you're learning, you can earn while you learn. You can be an affiliate if you choose to be an affiliate with us.
You don't have to. It's optional. But if you want, you can be an affiliate. And by owning these products, you're qualified to earn these commissions, and you can literally be able to position yourself to earn an incredible income. In fact, you can, within a few referrals, you can literally make your money back on the education.
So how cool is that? To be able to get started, be able to own this education, go through it, refer it to a few other people, and now you've got this entire education, kind of this online marketing university for free, okay? And so why don't I begin to share in my value? Now maybe you're not selling the Empower Network products when you're selling something else. Well, in that example, you want to begin to share the value.
What's the bigger picture? And you want to compare that value to something else they can relate to, right? Again, in my former business, I was selling real estate. I was selling a $20,000 product, right? Yeah.
In fact, there was other companies and big guru companies that were selling a similar type package for $40,000, believe it or not, right? So whatever you're selling, you want to compare to something else that they can know or relate to and believe in that's a realistic value that's even way more money than what it is that you're selling. So if I'm selling a product, maybe it's even a lower end product, right? Maybe it's a $100 product, a couple hundred bucks, whatever. You want to relate it to, you know, there's other stuff in the marketplace that costs $500 or $1,000 or whatever that they can really see and think, wow, okay, I can begin to see the value.
Here's something that now the price of whatever you're selling, maybe it's, again, if it's a higher ticket item, the price begins to become less of an issue, at least becomes to justify the value because price is only an issue in the absence of value, right? If I were to say, hey, you know, I've got a Bentley, maybe they go for a couple hundred grand. I'll sell you this Bentley right now for $20,000, right? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you had a dime to your name.
If you know you could get a Bentley, a $200,000 Bentley for $20,000, you would do whatever it takes and I guarantee you'd come up with $20,000 to buy that Bentley. Why? Well, because you know that it's worth $200,000, right? It's worth 10 times what you're going to spend or, you know, the cost investment of getting that Bentley, right? And you know you could make money with that.
You could turn around and resell that Bentley, resell that product and make money with it, right? Very easily, right? So when you get your people to believe that same concept of your product is worth your product, your business, whatever you're marketing, the Empower Network products, being all in, whatever it is, that is worth way more than the cost, right? And you get them to see the value and then when I'm going to share with you some of the other things as it relates to sharing the benefits and the comp plan and different things like that, then they begin to see, wow, this could make me that much more, right? You know, an investment in my education has made me over a couple hundred grand in commissions in two years.
And again, those results aren't typical, right, and definitely not average. But do you think it was a smart, and again, when I started, I didn't have the money just like many people. I didn't have the resources. But I found it because I believe and I saw enough value in the education and the training and I saw the people having success, I believed that if I applied myself over time, I could get similar results and then I could get a return on my investment, a return on my education per se, right, because it's not really an investment, but we're investing in ourselves. We're investing in our education, whatever the case may be, right?
If you're marketing or selling some type of higher end product or a business opportunity or coaching or mentorship or mastermind or whatever it is, that there's going to be maybe a significant investment for people, right? But if people begin to see the value of that cost, if they begin to see the value of what that can make them and the value that can add to their lives, not only financially but personally or anything else for that matter, right, depending upon what you're selling, then again, price becomes less of an issue. The cost becomes less of an issue because now you've built the value, okay? So in my one-on-one strategy sessions, it's a very big distinction to make sure that my customer, my new team member, my new affiliate, what have you, begins to understand the value of the system. We have the value of the training and we have the value of the products that they're going to potentially market and sell as well as to consume and go through and become a product to the product and to be able to apply that product, apply those strategies to their business.
Whether it's this business as an affiliate with Empower Network, whether it's any other business. I have a lot of people that apply these strategies to tons of different businesses, network marketing companies, they're building teams in other organizations, they're launching their own products now from what they've learned. So the cool thing is, again, it's that dual income opportunity. So I can help people realize, even if you never are an affiliate of this stuff, even if you never, you know, let's say you're listening to this inner circle call right now, even if you never refer the Empower Network products, that's okay. You can apply these strategies, you can apply what I'm teaching you, you can apply what other leaders are teaching you in these calls and in the video trainings that we have, for instance, and you can apply that to any business in any industry and that can help you have success and help you have money, make you money, right?
Even if you never referred these Empower Network training products, okay? And that's what's really powerful, it's really cool, it's what I call a dual income opportunity. And so I share that with people, right? I share the value of our education, the value of our training products. And you need to do the same, okay?
If you're sharing the value of Empower Network, you need to kind of do that. If you're selling another product or another business opportunity or whatever it is, you got to share the value, you got to have people know, understand, and believe that your product, your product, your service, stands on its own. It's what's called a standalone product, a standalone service so that regardless if there's any income opportunity attached to it or affiliate opportunity, forget all that, just put that on the side for a second, that your product inherently has value. We're not selling thin air here, we're selling valuable products, valuable services that people can consume these products, consume these services, and get value in their lives, get value in their business, right? And when they get that, again, now the price becomes less of an issue, okay?
So instead of saying how much it's going to cost them, they begin to say and think, wow, how much could this make me? And when you get your people to shift from what's this going to cost to how much can I make, that's the difference between an unsuccessful and successful person. That's the difference between a regular person, a nine to five job, whatever, versus someone that's an entrepreneur. Guys like Robert Kiyosaki, for instance, author of the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, talks about the difference between unsuccessful people and successful people, and successful people think, you know what, not how much is this going to cost me, but how much is this going to make me, right? Even when, let's say I don't have the resources, even let's say you don't have the resources, you'll find the resources, you'll come up with the resources because you're focused on how much it can make you, right?
So this is an important part of your one-on-one strategy session of your training process with a new member that you want to help them understand, okay? So once you've got that, the next component, especially in our business, is to share with them and understand they understand the business model, the business aspect of how they can market your products and service, how they can work with you as a team member, as an affiliate, and to be able to earn commissions, to be able to earn income, referring and selling your products and services, okay? Now this won't apply to all businesses. If you're just selling direct to consumer and you don't really have an affiliate plan or something like that, this wouldn't apply to as much, but most people I have, most people that are in this business or other businesses in the direct sales, network marketing industry, affiliate marketing industry, home-based business, do this, right? So it's very important that I spend some time on that and share with people and share with you the power of our compensation plan, the power of whatever it is that you're doing, right?
So in Power Network, for example, we have an incredible compensation plan as an affiliate for those that take action on that where people can earn high commissions to be able to resell our products, okay? Once they're qualified to sell our products, either they sell our products or they buy our products and they get qualified to be able to earn commissions on them. So I'm going to share with them kind of our franchise style business model. I'm going to share the systems that we have. I'm going to share the support and how in marketing, for instance, it's incredible.
You've got to create traffic, leads, and sales. So I'll teach them. So again, this is consultative, not like so much selling, but I'm giving them a bigger picture and helping them understand what this industry and this business is all about. I'm going to share with them what I call the three C's of online marketing, which is how to be able to create traffic, capture leads, and convert sales. You might say, Peter, what's that mean exactly?
Well, creating traffic, getting eyeballs to your website, to your offer, to your landing page, to your sales video, right? Creating leads, capturing leads, okay, is the second step. You're building a list. You're building an audience of people to be able to share value with, add value to, be able to follow them, and be able to then convert them into sales, okay? So this is kind of the front end, the three steps of front end online marketing, right?
So I get them to understand that, and so I get them to understand, well, what if you could just get good at one thing? What if you could just get good at getting leads, getting sales, getting eyeballs to the sales process? And what if we had sales videos to help convert those leads into sales, and we had tools, we had email swipe files, and we had Hangouts to plug people into, and what if you just got good going through the training, going through our products, and you just learned how to do that, right? And then we had other systems and processes in place to help you with the other parts, right? So whatever it is in your business, you want to get them to understand how you've got a model where if they can just get good at something, one thing, maybe in traditional network marketing business it says, hey, just get good at extending an invitation.
Just get good at getting people to the meeting, right? We'll do the selling. We'll do the presenting, the telling, the closing. for your prospects, you just get them there, right? Or maybe it's, you know, hey, you get really good at networking, you generate leads, you generate contacts, and then you plug them into a system, and we'll do the, again, the selling, the telling, the closing, et cetera.
Whatever it is, you wanna know that there's a system in place, right? Because systems fail, people don't fail. People will fail if systems don't fail. So for instance, I'll compare it to a franchise type business. Why is it that franchises and franchisees are successful?
Right? Now, Empower Network, for example, is not a franchise, and, you know, many businesses you're gonna be involved with are probably not a franchise, right? But I'll say, okay, why is it that most people in a home-based business, traditional network marketing business, why is the failure rate so high, but the franchise business is so successful, right? Well, it's a couple of reasons. In traditional network marketing, or home-based business, online market, even Empower Network, there's not a lot of money.
You know, people can get started for a relatively low amount of money. It's low startup costs. It's one of the benefits, right? Now, compare that to a traditional franchise. In a traditional franchise, the cost is staggering, right?
Could be tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands. You know, at a McDonald's, for example, it's like over a million dollars, I think. So, you know, you compare that. People have got to come up with a mass amount of money. You're talking, they're leveraging their homes, they're doing everything, they're borrowing, they're getting all kinds of loans, whatever, to be able to get that franchise.
Well, why do they do that? Well, they believe because it's a system. So, compare that to, let's say, traditional network marketing where there's low startup costs and, you know, sky's the limit, there's huge potential. But, because it's easy in, easy out, right? Because there's little skin in the game, people are likely to quit.
Now, compare that to a franchisee who just, let's say you've invested 100 grand to buy a franchise. Can you imagine a franchisee telling a franchisor that? No way, right? They would never do that, right? They'll work 18, 20 hour days for two years if that's what it takes to be able to make their money back and make money.
Why? Because they have so much money on the line, they can't just walk away from that, right? It could be the difference between them going bankrupt and not. So, versus traditional online marketing, affiliate marketing, network marketing, you know, you could get started for 25, 50, 100 bucks, 200 bucks, even 1,000 bucks. In the scheme of things, it's not the end of the world.
It's not a huge amount of money, right? Even $5,000 or something like that. It might seem like a lot of money, you know, to the average person, but when you compare it, and this is what you wanna do, you wanna compare, this is the training. So, that little piece right there, I'll share that with my new members, my team members, so I get them to compare and have a bigger understanding of what they think of a little business and get them to see the bigger picture. Not only the money they can make, but compare it to a system, compare it to a franchise-style business to know that one of the reasons why people succeed when they have a lot of skin in the game and they're invested and they've got all the education and the training and the resources, you know, it's a lot harder to just walk away from that and quit, right?
Versus if they got 50 bucks, 100 bucks, a couple hundred bucks online and invested in their cost and their education and what have you, they're gonna be more likely to quit. That's just the nature of the beast because easy in, easy out, right? And so, this is what you wanna do. So, if you're selling anything, doesn't matter what you're selling, it's something that's a higher cost, higher value, okay? You want to compare it to something else in an industry that they'll understand that is a lot more money and that has a success record because it is a higher value position, because it's something that is going to have systems in place, because they're gonna have support, they're gonna have a community, they're gonna have mentorship, and they're gonna have a business model that they can follow.
They're gonna have a coach or mentor, again, depending upon what you're marketing, what you're selling, right? So, this is where I'll explain the value of that business model, and I'll explain the value of the compensation plan. I'll share how, hey, what if you can just get this, whatever that is, let's say the Empower Network products, for example, and refer a handful of people over because our comp plan, I'm not gonna go into detail about that because that's not what this call's about, but in the short of it, be able to A, earn your money back, so now you've got this entire system for free, right? That's pretty cool, right? Imagine if you had a franchise.
I mean, how many franchises would you have to sell to probably make your money back? Or how many sandwiches in the subway or whatever, you know, not to mention any names, but how many products or little widgets or whatever would you have to sell to be able to make your money back? A lot, many franchisees don't make their money back for two to three years, okay? Versus in something like this, in a business that you might have, where people could, with not a lot of work, so with work, of course, but with not a lot of sales, it doesn't take nearly as many sales to at least break even in their business or be able to reimburse the cost of their product, okay? In network marketing, for example, there's a slogan like, buy one, sell three, or refer three and yours is free, or something like that.
You know, refer three people and your product is free. You know, that's a very classic example in the network marketing industry. So whatever it is, if you can show people a way where, wow, if I just do this little bit of action or just make a few sales or a few referrals, now it kind of eliminates the fear of, at least, at the very least, now I made my money back. Now this product is free, or now this education is free. So maybe I don't make, maybe I'm not a million dollar earner and maybe that's their goal, but even if I don't, at the worst, worst case scenario, I can just do this action, or I can make a few referrals and I can at least have this be paid for.
I can reimburse my cost and be able to get this for free, right, and that's a valuable proposition because that's something that's very believable because most people are just on a call actually yesterday. Most people don't believe they can make 100 grand a month or even 10 grand a month at first, but if they can make a couple thousand or they can reimburse the cost of their education or they can reimburse the cost of their product, whatever that is, whatever it is that you're selling, then that's gonna help them and guide them and motivate them to do what it takes to move forward, to get all in your business or to buy your top package or get to the company events. That's gonna motivate them. Even if they don't have the resources, they're gonna be more likely to then find the resources. And again, in another call in part two of this series, I actually teach you some different ideas and the strategy and the mindset of how to come up with money and understanding really what money is and overcoming the money objection and different ways for funding and all that.
So make sure to listen to that call. But again, they'll never do that. They'll never go out there and find the money. They'll never go out there and borrow the money. They'll never go out there and maybe they have the money, again, but they won't part with it unless they know and believe that they can make their money back.
Unless they know they're gonna get more value than what the cost is of the product or service. If they believe the value's there, if they see the value's there, if you do a great job of sharing it, explaining it, showing it, maybe getting them to an event. For instance, a big company event is always a huge way to share the value of whatever it is you're doing. So that was one of the keys to my success is I got good at sharing the value of people and getting people to the event. Because once I got them to the event, I knew that big decisions were made at big events.
So that's just another little tip for you. If you're in a business and your company has events, Power Network, we have events. We have a big event coming up soon, actually, at the time of this recording. And so if you get good at helping people get to that point where they're motivated to go to the event, they're more than likely gonna see the bigger picture. They're going to experience on a physiological level the value and the community and the support and the education and the training.
And they're gonna see the bigger picture. That's going to encourage them. And they're gonna be much more likely to then upgrade or buy other products or go all in your business because now they have an experience of seeing the value. Okay, so very, very critical, guys. I could go on and on this one topic alone.
If you do this correctly, this is going to help, quote unquote, your clothes be simple and easy. Again, this is consultative and coaching based. This is not about high pressure. It's not my style. I'm not a hard sell.
Nothing in this is about closing and pressure and hard sell and sales tactics. It's really just about guiding your new members, your customers, your team members, and having them to understand the bigger picture. Getting them to see what they have their hands on. Getting them to see the value in your product, the value in your business opportunity. Getting them to see with just a little bit of effort and work that they could at least make their money back.
And if you break it down in stages like that, it'll be more believable. And that's one of the key things. I want you to write that down, is people make decisions based on their beliefs. People make decisions based on their beliefs. So if you get them to believe, right, that they can do it, whatever it is, right, they're gonna be much more likely to move forward.
Because I'll train in another topic, people make decisions in a form of progressive agreements. Okay, I actually go into this in other training in detail. But in simple form, what progressive agreements is, and I learned this from a very successful marketer, Dan Kennedy, progressive agreements are basically getting people to agree to a step-by-step-by-step. So if you're selling, let's say, an all-in Empower and they're doing something, you can't just sell them your high-end package right away. You're gonna sell them a lower-end product.
You're gonna sell them maybe on why they need to generate more leads in their business. And then you're gonna sell them on how to do that, okay? So it's a progressive process, okay? It's kind of like the dating example, right? When you go out to ask the girl for a date, or you go and take her on the first date, you know, if it's someone you're really serious about, you're probably not necessarily gonna go straight for the clothes and ask her to marry you on date one, right?
It's going to be a process. There's gonna be progressive agreements, you know, to get a girl that you just met to marry you, right? Maybe it's, you know, at first it's, you build that rapport and connection and you ask her for the number, right? And then you follow up, right? You follow up with the prospects.
You follow up with the girl and you ask her out on a date, right? And maybe it even takes you several times of asking before she says yes, right? And then you go on that date. And you have a great date, and you show her a great time, and you build up the value and show how awesome you are, and you ask her questions and get to know her, and you're talking all about her and being genuinely interested in her, right? That's another little tip for you, okay?
And then, you know, then what's, do you just ask her to marry you? No, no, you ask her on another date, and maybe another date, and another date, and then eventually maybe now you're, you say you're gonna be kind of committed and serious and you need a boyfriend or girlfriend, right? And that goes on for a period of time, and then eventually you're gonna pop the question, right? And then she, let's say she says yes, and now you're engaged. Now you're engaged, now are you married yet?
No, you're not even married. Now you got the whole engagement process, and planning a wedding, and going through all that, right? So finally, maybe months, years down the line, you're now married, right? So there's a process. Now the cool thing about what I'm sharing with you right now, it doesn't have to take years.
Like, you can do this process inside of an hour with someone once you get good, and inside of an hour, and I've done this many, many times, I can take someone that's just getting started, knows very little about that business, and inside of an hour later, they're committed. They're committed to going all in. They're committed to finding the resources. They're getting the top package. They're getting to the next big company event, right?
Inside of a conversation, within an hour, right? So it doesn't have to take years, okay? When you do this, and you do this well, and you understand this process, you can literally begin to have a massive increase in your upsells, your back-end product sales, and know this, the big money, guys, the big money is in the back-end, okay? Now, unless you're like the super recruiter, and you go out there and make hundreds and thousands of sales, you know, if you make thousands of sales of your front-end products, you don't necessarily need to make a lot of sales in your back-end products, and still make an incredible income, right? But for me, when I was first getting started in this business, I had no real list, no really online marketing experience, per se.
I was pretty new to a lot of stuff, but I understood and had these skill sets of one-to-one selling, and top-tier sales, and helping people come up with money and resources, and sharing the value. So while I was learning how to build a list, and do advertising, and Facebook marketing, and YouTube videos, things like that, while I was learning all that, I had this skill set, so even though I didn't have to make a lot, even when I wasn't making a lot of sales, I might have only made a sale a week. So it's a powerful process, when you understand how to do these one-on-one strategy sessions, and you understand how to get your people to shift their beliefs, and understand and believe what's possible, and begin to believe new things, begin them to connect them to their why, be able to connect them to why they're doing it, begin to help them get committed to the process, and assist them in this journey. Then, when it comes to kind of the end of the close, we're kind of coming to the close here, it's pretty simple. It's, you know, number one, is this something you see yourself doing?
Okay? Besides the money, you know, let's say money was an issue for them, right? Besides the money, is there anything else that would hold you back from moving forward right now? Okay? Besides the money, is there anything else that would hold you back from going all in?
Besides the money, was there anything hold you back from buying this, from getting started? Besides the money, you know, was there anything else? Again, that's assuming they've kind of told you that money's an issue, right? They're not sure how to fund this. If I know they probably have the money, it's just more about them partying with the money, it's just straight up, hey, so does it sound like you're ready to get started?
Sounds like you're ready to move forward? Sounds like you're ready to go all in? And if they've got the money, they'll be like, yeah, okay. I mean, I gotta move some things around, maybe it takes them a few days or whatever, I gotta do some things to do that, and that's understandable, right? But, you know, it's just that.
And then, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna set up a follow-up. Once they've made that commitment, once they've bought that high-end product, or they get to that next package, or they go all in, whatever that is, right? I might set up a follow-up with them, hey, we're gonna get a game plan session, we're gonna go over specifically, you know, here's the things you wanna be doing, and here's how you wanna spend your time, spending your time on income-producing activities. And I wanna tell them, you know, 78% of your time should be focused on income-producing activities, okay? So once they've committed to you, they've committed to themselves, and they've committed that, hey, they're gonna do this, right?
Then it's just about, okay, do you know how to come up with the money? Do you have a plan to go all in? Do you have a plan to come up with the X amount of dollars it's gonna take to do this, right? Whatever it is you're selling, whatever that next step is, right? And if they have a plan, so what's your plan?
If they don't have a plan, you might say, okay, well, you know, we can take a few minutes, and I can ask you some questions on how to help you go through some ideas and some strategies on how to come up with money and leverage maybe some resources that you have, or other resources. Again, I go into more detail in this part two training on this call. So after you listen to this call, definitely listen to part two, so I'm gonna go into detail on some funding strategies and mindset about money and tips to overcome the money objection, okay? But for now, in this module, just know that if you do everything right and you do this good, there won't be any objections other than maybe, okay, I wanna do this, now I just gotta figure out how to find the money, okay? And that's what you want.
If nothing else, that's what you want, because I had a member, I did a strategy session like this with someone yesterday, and they hit me up on Facebook a few hours later and said, thank you so much. I actually ended up talking to my mom and sending a most incredible, inspiring, heartfelt email to my parents about what my why was, my dreams, my goals, and to get the funding, right? And that was something that she would have never done. She would have never asked her parents for, who wants to ask their parents for kind of a loan or to help them get funded in a business? No one wants to do that necessarily, right?
But she did that because of knowing that she could, and believing that she could do this, because she saw the value, she got clear on her goals, she got clear on her game plan of, okay, here's what I need to be doing on a daily basis with creating content, with marketing and advertising, with my learning, okay? Spending my time on getting people to create traffic leads and sales, going through the education to create traffic leads and sales, understanding this process, right? Now, someone won't take the actions to come up with the resources to buy your product or to get all in your business or to get to the event, whatever, what have you, if all of these pre-things, these progressive agreements aren't done first. Once these progressive agreements have been accomplished, it doesn't matter if they don't have the money, they'll go out there and find it. I've seen people come up with 20 grand that didn't have two nickels to rub together, and days later, a week later, two weeks later, next thing you know, they're coming up with thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars.
I've been there in a place myself where I was tens of thousands of dollars in debt, I was a half a million dollars in real estate debt, and in a period of two weeks, I got creative because I was motivated and I believed I could do this, and I came up with $20,000 for a business, okay? So when people are motivated and they believe they can do this and they see how they can do it, they will go out there, they will find the money, okay? But none of that will happen unless you do these type of things to get them there. Does that make sense? I hope this is starting to land for you, and when you get good at this, you can guide people, and over the course of an hour call with someone, for instance, you can do this.
Now you might say, Peter, well, I don't wanna do this, or I don't wanna get on the phone with someone and do this. That's okay, cool, have someone else do it, hire it, outsource it, you can do that too, okay? But if you're just getting started or you don't have a ton of sales or a ton of money for advertising or whatever, let's have you, if you're like me, kind of doing it on a bootstrap budget when I was getting started, and I learned these things and learned these skills, well, that allowed me to be able to very quickly start making a full-time income so I could be full-time in this business, in my business, and to be able to do that without being a top yet recruiter or producer, being able to do that without figuring it all out, right? While I was still learning how to market, while I was still learning how to generate leads, while I was still learning how to convert sales, once the sales I did get, I could increase the value of them, I could increase the lifetime value of my customer, okay? And that's what allowed me to be able to earn over 200 grand in commissions as an affiliate in my business with less than 200 basic sales because of this process.
Now, again, I don't see those results to impress you. They certainly are not typical or average, right? But again, it's what's possible when you can begin to get good at some of these things I'm talking about and training you how to do these one-on-one strategy decisions and how to sell and how to upsell and how to sell big-ticket items, okay? Whatever you're selling. So to kind of wrap this up, and I'll wrap this up, the call for you, how I'll wrap it up with my members, is I'll get them to commit to doing three things daily, get them to understand that in our business it's about marketing.
creating content or creating value, sharing that content, sharing that value, creating traffic leads and sales, right? And then the second part of that, which is just learning, which is, hey, you've got to learn it, do it, then teach it. Learn something. Go out there and do it. Take action.
Because you're going to learn by doing, right? Just as much as you are just by learning and going through the modules or calls like this. When you take action on this stuff, you're going to learn a lot. Then once you learn that, share that with others. Create a video about it.
Create a blog post. Create a Facebook post. Create content. Create value for people that's sharing what you're learning. Because when you do that, that's going to allow you to help build your list, build your brand, build influence, okay?
So do that. And again, we have other training products that go in detail inside of our Power Network that teach you how to do that in detail, so I'm not going to spend a ton of time on that. But again, you want to teach people how to do that. And again, you then want to get clear on getting their commitment. When are they going to move to that next step?
When are they going to get all in? What's the date? Hold them accountable, right? When are they going to commit to getting their ticket to the next event? When are they going to commit to buying the top package?
Hold them accountable to a specific date. I like to hold them accountable generally within seven days that they've made that commitment, that they're going to move forward, or they're going to at least give me a progress update at the very least. Because sometimes, if you're selling a high ticket item, here's the reality, guys. It might take some people some time to move some money around or to get the resources or to get some funding or pull out a creative funding strategy or lending strategy or whatever the case may be, no matter what the strategy is to come up with the funds, right? So you've got to understand that, too.
It's not going to just say, hey, here's five grand on my credit card right now. Some people, they can do that. But other people, a lot of people can't, right? It's going to take a little bit, maybe some time and creativity. So I want to get an agreement, an acknowledgement of when they're going to do that, a commitment from them, and a follow-up.
And the follow-up can be as simple as a quick Facebook chat or a conversation or a text or whatever. But if that person is committed to moving forward with you, working with you, joining your mastermind, getting all in, then you want to follow-up with them, because fortune's in the follow-up. So get that commitment, all right? And then get clear on those next steps, and then be able to assist them, be able to follow-up with them. And you say, okay, bottom line is, are you serious to do this?
Are you committed? Are you going to do whatever it takes? And if they say yes, okay, awesome. Then I'm going to hold you accountable, welcome to the team, welcome to my inner circle, welcome to my mastermind. I'm going to act as if, because you're a man of your word.
Are you a man of your word, John? Yes. Mary, are you a woman of your word? Yes. Okay.
So I'm going to hold you to your word, and I know that this is something you're going to do, right? Yes, I'm going to do it, Peter. Okay, awesome. All right. So in the next three days, seven days, whatever that is, so I'm going to hear from you.
Next Friday, I'll hear from you, and I can count on you doing that. I can count on you getting that product, or I can count on you moving forward. Yes. Okay, great. Awesome.
Well, any other questions you have for me? If they have any other questions, can I answer the questions? Okay, awesome. Well, I hope this call was valuable for you. I'm looking forward to working with you.
I'm looking forward to having you at our event. I'm looking forward to having you on our mastermind. I'm looking forward to having you as part of our all-in, kind of elite inner circle team here, and assisting you, and helping you achieve those goals that you told me you wanted. Now, real quick before I end, if they give you any objections, I'm going to have to ask you a question. I'm going to have to ask you a question.
I'm going to have to ask you a question. Now, real quick before I end, if they give you any objections, I'm going to have to ask you a question. I'm going to have to ask you a question. I'm going to have to ask you a question. If they give you any objections, I'm going to have to ask you a question.
I'm going to have to ask you a question. If they give you any objections, this is where the whole front end of this call comes in handy. The give them an objection about the money, or they're not sure. We say, well wait a minute. You told me that would help you create freedom, that would help you create confidence, security, and your life.
Are you serious about that? Sometimes silence. Why are you serious about that, Mary? Are you serious about that, John? Well yeah, Peter, I am.
OK, well here's ... I'm going to be your mentor. I'm going to open some coaching. I'm going to open a little Tough Love. Well, becoming successful in anything is about being willing to become resourceful, right, to find resources.
It's about being willing to be uncomfortable to making a new decision, taking new actions to create a new result. So if you want something you've never had before, you've got to do something you've never done before. You've got to believe something you've never believed before, right? If someone says, well, I'm not sure this really works. Well, I don't know.
I mean, does it work for so many other people? Does it work for yourself? You're now a member, right? So does traffic work? Yes.
Is it worth entering leads? Yes. Because you filled out an email, right? You watched a sales video. So does a sales video work?
Yes. And I'm now having a call with you. And so, well, does this process work? Well, yes, right? So any objections that they might have, you're going to use that information in the front end of the conversation about their well-formed outcome, about their goals, about what they want, why they want it, that deeper emotional reason, understanding the value of the education, understanding the value of the products that you sell, the opportunity, the system, the business, the support, the community, the mentorship, so that they realize, OK, I can do this.
And you know what? Man, I want to do this. Even if I have some fear, I'm going to overcome my fear. I'm going to take action. I'm going to do this.
And when you do this, guys, you wrap all this up, put a little pretty bow on it, it's powerful. Not only does this work for myself, but so many of the people that I've taught these strategies to, so many of the people that I've learned these strategies to, there's top people in our business, and this company that I made seven figures doing some of these things. OK? And so again, no matter what you're marketing, no matter what you're selling, if it's a higher end price product or service or opportunity, again, these skill sets of doing these sessions with them, whether it's in person, over the phone, over a Hangout, over a Skype call, whatever the case may be, if you do this, a little extra time, a little extra effort can make the difference in increasing your lifetime value of your customer tremendously. Make the difference between even potentially success and failure, because maybe you're not generating a ton of sales, but you got some.
This is how to make the most of it. This is how to not only make the most of it for yourself, but to really help people, to really make a difference. I want to really kind of end with this, because if people are committed, if they're all in, if they're committed with their minds and their wallets, they're going to be much more likely. Of course, there's never any guaranteed success of anything. You can never guarantee someone of anything.
I can't guarantee you of anything. I don't know what you're going to do. I don't know who you are. I don't know if you're going to take action on this. I can tell you this.
If, let's say, one out of ten people make a decision and buy that top package or go all in, for instance. I know 90% of people don't. Right off the bat, they're 90% of the way of success. They're doing that 90% of other people aren't doing. Now is that final 10%.
What's that final 10%? The final 10% is taking consistent action. Learn, do, teach. Learn, go through the product. Take action.
Be consistent. Don't quit. If they do that, it's not if they'll succeed. It's just when and how much. That's the key, to be consistent and to never quit, and to realize that if anyone else can do it, you can do it, and you can apply these types of strategies and information to be able to create results in your life and your business and now pay it forward to other people and help them get committed in their business, help them move forward.
If you're an affiliate with Empower Network, you know, based on our compensation plan, you have a direct financial vested interest in helping your team members and your customers succeed. When they succeed, you succeed at a greater level. How cool is that versus a corporate environment where it's kind of a dog-eat-world where you don't really want to empower the next person because they could take your job, right? But in this business, the more people you empower, the more people you help, the more you help them, the more money you can make. That's the great thing about this type of business model in this industry.
The online marketing, affiliate marketing, network marketing industry is you can really help people. You can help them make money. You can help them make big new decisions, and you can help them create a turning point in their life. You can help them create a turning point. Maybe this is a call as a turning point for you.
Maybe by now you're making the decision for yourself that you're going to take action on this. You're going to apply these strategies, and you're going to commit and move forward in your business. Maybe you just kind of got started, and this is maybe helping to open up some ideas for you. Or you can now pay this forward to help your new team members and your customers and your affiliates begin to see the bigger picture and to help them make big decisions in their lives so they can create big results in their lives. With that, guys, I hope you've got incredible value.
It's been a little over an hour now in this call. Again, in the next call I do, part two of the training series is actually overcoming the number one objection, which is money, and understanding really what money is, how to get it, how to help people get it, overcoming that objection, how to help people become resourceful to find the resources. Make sure to listen to that training audio as well. You're going to absolutely love it, because that's really the second stage. If you go through, again, this process and this training, you can re-listen to it.
If you get good at this, nothing will stop you. The only thing that will stop you, if anything, is money. Part two of this training is going to help you overcome that, help you find money for yourself, help you get good at helping other people get money. That's kind of how they nicknamed me, my buddy Chris Rucker and other people have nicknamed me the Get Money Guy, because I've helped people kind of get money. I've helped do a lot of back-end sales and be able to close a lot of all-ins and things like that, because I understand these two components, these two components of how to connect with people and do these one-on-one strategy sessions, and then how to help people get creative, and then tapping into their resources to be able to find the resources to move forward in their business.
Make sure to listen to that. I'm Peter Sorensen, delivering you this special Inner Circle audio training call. Hope you've loved it, and I'll look forward to hearing you and seeing you in the next call and perhaps meeting you in person at one of our next events. Take care.
