I apologize for being on here a couple of minutes late, but I'm not known for being on time, and I'm also not known for short conference calls. But tonight, I want to share some things with you guys that I really believe will transform your business if you listen.

They'll not just transform your business, they're also going to transform your life and prepare you for the road ahead. What I like to do when I do any kind of training, when I get on a conference call, when I teach, I like to start from really two places that feed into each other. I like to share a little bit about my story, and I like to start with your vision, your goals, and your outcome. Let's start with your vision and goals first. What I want everybody here to do tonight is I want you to concentrate inside for a moment.

I just want you to remember why you're here. Remember why you got started in the business to make money on the internet. Remember why you joined in Power Network if you're already in. If you're not already in, you can go ahead and join, and then remember why you just joined a second ago. I want you to concentrate on that, and to really, really, really hone in on not a financial goal or a thing goal like you want a Ferrari, you want a nice car, you want a big house, but I want you to concentrate on why you want that.

Why is it that you want to make money on the internet? Why is it that you want to be able to pay your bills on time? Why is it that you really want to be at the top of the company? Why did you join this business? Is it for time, freedom, financial independence, a little bit of both?

Is it you want to be able to build something that you can believe in, that you can trust in? Is it that you really, really, really want to do something massive? Is that why you joined? If I find people get in for different reasons, but most of the time, the people that join, they get in kind of in a moment of personal desperation. I know that's how it was for me when I first joined Network Marketing.

I had a big vision, but the reality was when I first joined is I had nothing. I had dropped out of college. I'd moved away from family. My family was all in a different state. I didn't have any income source.

I didn't really have any real-world workable business skills at any time. I just needed to make something work in my life. I wanted something where I could really, really, really build a dream. I didn't get in this industry. I didn't get in it just for the money.

I didn't do that. The reason I didn't get in it just for the money was because I've never really been that interested in that. I think it's cool to have nice things. I think it's cool to have a nice house. I mean, it's got a great gigantic house now.

I think it's cool to have nice cars. I don't have Ferraris and stuff, but I've got a big old Tahoe, and I like having a nice stable car. I like being able to live where I want. I moved out to Costa Rica in 2010. I think that's cool to have the ability to do that, but that's not really why I joined this industry, and it's not really why I'm involved in it.

It's not really what resonates with me because I fundamentally believe you could make money doing lots of things. I believe you could make money owning a car lot. I think you could make money buying and selling homes and renting homes, and you can make money selling coaching. You can make money doing lots of things, some of which have better lifestyles than others, but I've got to admit for one thing, and this is really what I fell in love with. I fell in love with the people in this industry.

When I got exposed to network marketing, I remember just meeting some of the leaders and meeting some of the reps, and I just thought they were the coolest people in the world. I don't know about you, but growing up in the world the way that it is, the system, as I like to say, growing up in the system, it's like I was always a square peg in a round hole or a round peg in a square hole, however you want to phrase it. I didn't quite fit in. You know what I mean? It's like they're like – I remember going to a counselor when I was a kid, and I took a test that was supposed to say what career path you should take.

Actually, the results of that test, what they said was you don't fit in any sort of career path that we have in our system. That's actually what it said. That was in school. That actually reminds me when I got older. I remember I went to one of these dating sites.

I can't remember which one it was. I think it was Match. It's that one where they take the personality profile, and then they're supposed to match you up with other people with that personality profile. I took that personality test, and they're like, we're sorry. You don't match up with any known variants in our database.

It reminded me of school. I didn't really fit in, but when I got around these people in direct sales and network marketing, I just found that they have good hearts. They're the kind of people that I really jived with. I did feel like I fit in. It's not like I just fed in.

It was like I was around other dreamers. You know what I mean? The concept that I really, really, really just jived with was the concept of helping yourself by helping other people first. Not stepping over people to get what you want, but helping other people step up to get what you want. You know what I mean?

It's like we live in a world where the system is built on crushing through others to get your way. That's kind of what we're taught as we grow up. You know what I mean? Not everybody can be in first place. There's competition for everything.

You go into corporate America, and the only way to really move up is to get somebody out of the way who's up there. There's not some sort of unlimited top for people. There's only one CEO position in a corporation. You know what I mean? If you want your manager's spot, then you've got to get them out of the way somehow, or they need to move up.

There's only so many spots above them, right? Fundamentally, I was raised in a world of the middle class, which I think is actually a world of lack. That's what I think it is. I think it's a world of bullshit. I remember I went to this counselor as a kid, and he's like, what do you want to do when you grow up?

I was like, I want to go to the beach. I want to surf. I want to do martial arts and make lots of money. That's what I told him. That is not a normal answer for a kid, I don't think.

He goes, no, no. I mean, what do you want to do for work? I was like, I don't want to work. What do you mean? Sit here like you do and talk to kids about what they want to do with their life when they're 12 years old and they don't know?

I was like, that sounds like the worst job ever. There was just this pain in his face, like he was saying, yeah, yeah, this does kind of suck. He said it with his eyes. He didn't need to open his mouth. I just find that most people don't love doing what they're doing.

I think that's a big disconnect in society where it's like, people are always talking about building for your career and stuff like that. We get sold into this scam. You know what I mean? It's like, hey, I want you to go through school, get a good job, get good grades, and then work until you're so old that you can't. And then once you can't work, you're retired and you're golden years.

In the meantime, you can take one vacation a year if you save and plan all year for it and are willing to put it on a credit card. I mean, that's the freaking plan. You know what I mean? Get up on a whiteboard and show that to some kids and try to get them to invest in it. But that's what people do.

They invest in that. I remember going to the people where they give you student loans and stuff, which they're really just salespeople. This is like boiler room salespeople selling people on bullcrap. You go into a room and you sit down with a counselor or whatever it is, and they're like, yeah, that's going to be like 40 grand. And you never sit there and ask, well, what for?

I remember I got my first job when I got back from a mission trip when I was 21. I got my first job at a company called USAA selling insurance. And then I had to go through this education in the company, and then I was licensed in like 48 states to sell property to casualty. That was for USAA, which they sell military insurance. So I was really answering inbound calls, selling insurance.

I did that for like a year and a half or something. And then after that, I sold loans. I've been selling in sales jobs my whole life. And so I get this job, and I remember there's this guy named Daniel. I had just graduated with a bachelor's degree.

And he said, you going to school? I was like, no. And he says, why not? I said, well, what degree do you got? And he says, I got a bachelor's degree.

And I said, OK, what's your pay here? And we're not supposed to tell each other, you know? We were both earning commissions. I actually ended up earning more than him because I earned more commissions because I sold more stuff, right? I went to four years of school, and he was $40,000 in debt.

It worked out to be $1 an hour base rate more than me. And then I actually ended up earning like, I don't know, not double, but maybe 30%, 40% more than him in that job, right? Now, what kind of freaking deal is that? $40,000 for a $1 an hour rate? It's like you can make more money than that as a construction worker.

You know what I'm saying? There's nothing wrong with construction workers, but for heaven's sake, what's college for if it's for that crap? So in any way, we grow up in this system, and nobody ever teaches us how to accomplish our dreams and goals. And so because of that, we enter into the adult life where we get suckered in, and then a few years into it, we figure out that it's not all it was supposed to be, and then we start getting frustrated. You know what I mean?

It's like we get into society, and it's like nobody ever tells us how bad this sucks. They could have warned us. They could have told us when we were kids. You know what I mean? It's like, why didn't you tell me how bad these jobs suck?

This is worse than when I went to school. You know what I mean? It's like going to school, but now my parents aren't paying for anything anymore. Now I have to pay for it, and it's still like school. I get there, and I get chewed out if I don't fill out this big stack of papers every week.

You know what I mean? And that's if you don't have a construction job or something like that, which honestly, that stuff pays more than 80% of the jobs in society for blue-collar workers. The system is built to keep people trapped. That's my opinion on it, right? It's built to keep people trapped, trapped in a never-ending hamster wheel of frustration, pain, and failure.

And so I got into both kinds of worlds. You know, when I finished my mission trip, I got a job, and then I joined my first network marketing deal. And I remember it because I got in, and I just was so frustrated because I loved it. You know what I mean? I've loved this industry since I got into it, right?

I've loved this profession since I joined it. I actually loved it from when I was a kid. I ran into it when I was a kid, but they wouldn't let me get in because I was too young. And then I eventually ended up joining when I was 21, and I thought it was the most awesome thing in the world, but for some reason, nobody would freaking join with me. You know what I mean?

It's like, I remember I saw these circles on a whiteboard, and I was like, oh, my God. The first time you see it, it's like, if you get five, and they get five, and they get five, and your mind is automatically exponentially multiplying numbers in your head. You know what I mean? It's just like, you're turning five people, and you're like, gosh, it's 18 days. The whole world is going to be in this deal.

You know what I mean? I better go out there and talk to people quickly. But it doesn't really grow like that, right? Now, nobody in this industry ever really tells you when you start that it doesn't grow like that, but I'd actually like to just tell you on the front end that it doesn't grow like that. I'm not going to tell you get two, get two, get two, get two, and it's going to go down on limited levels, and pretty soon, all of China is going to be in your down line because it's not what's going to happen, right?

You've got to learn what to do. But the reality is that you think that a lot of times the first time you see something like this. I know I did. You know, maybe it's just because I'm gullible, but I remember being in a whiteboard, seeing this whiteboard, and it was actually my brother drawing the circles, my brother, Will, and I was like, oh, my God, I'm going to go get five people, and they're going to go get five people, and they're going to go get five people. I'm going to have like the whole state of Arizona on this thing.

This is like the, who, why does anybody work a job? I don't understand, right, when something like this exists. So I remember I'd get in, and I called my up line, and I'd say, hey, what do I do, man? And he goes, who's this? I said, it's Dave.

I just joined under Will. And he says, oh, okay. He says, go make a list of your family and friends and invite them over to your house for a meeting. And I kind of paused for a second. I said, what if your family and friends are either missionaries in another country, or they live in another state?

Because I can't really invite them over to my house for a meeting. Now, this is before Google Hangouts and stuff, right? And so he was like, well, then you've got to go get a new family and friends. He actually said, get a new family and friends locally where you're at. And I was like, oh, how do I do that, right?

And here comes the kicker. Hold on. He said, well, there's people everywhere, right? And what he said is true. There's people everywhere.

I mean, there's people outside my house right now. I've got neighbors. There's a shopping mall down the road. There's gas stations and stuff. And it's like, look at all these people.

I mean, what do you mean? Go talk to someone. And so I took that just literally, right? So I would drive around to gas stations. And I was like that guy that filled my car up with gas.

And I just didn't know what to do. Nobody ever explained to me how stupid that stuff was. And I guess I was too stupid to figure it out, right? So I'd sit there at a gas station, and I would look at a person and be like, hey, how's it going, man? You know what I mean?

And I swear, 80% of the time, people just looked at me like, I can't wait to get back in my car and drive away. Because they don't know why I'm talking to them, right? Because I think in the United States, people actually used to talk to each other, right? But now you don't even know your neighbor's name, do you? You know what I mean?

It's like, if you live in an apartment complex with doors everywhere, almost nobody knows who their neighbor is right with the door right next to them. They never even talk to them, right? If you live in a neighborhood, when people move in the neighborhood, it's very rare that you move into a neighborhood now where people actually talk to their neighbors and bake them a cake and bring them a cake and stuff like they did back in 1980. So I want you to think about this for a second. Think about the environment that network marketing really got big.

When was it? It was like 1970 to 1990. Those were the growth years of the old school offline MLM industry. That was when it grew. But I want you to think about that environment for a second and think about what people were actually like, right?

Like, everybody answered their phone. Everyone. I remember when I grew up, we answered our phone. Like, my dad would answer the phone in the middle of dinner, in the middle of a movie, whenever it rang. We had no answering machine when I grew up.

And we weren't poor, right? We weren't rich, but we weren't poor, right? So people, they lived in an environment, right, where everybody freaking answered their phone, right? And if you called your friends and invited them over, they actually came over, and people actually knew their neighbors. And this is the United States, 1970 to 1990.

It's what it was like. You know those old school movies that are black and white, where people are all talking to their neighbors and smiling at them? That used to be North America, right? Not anymore. That's not how it is.

People actually, I mean, they almost get grumpy at their neighbors when they see them, you know, and just want to make sure that they stay on their side of the fence, you know? That's how it is now. And it's sad to say, but it is how it is, right? So if you got a network marketing deal in, like, 1970, and I came over, and I had your upline, and I said, what I want you to do is I want you to make a list of everyone you know, call them up, and invite them over to your house for a meeting, what would happen? Well, you'd call 20 people, and 15 of them would show up.

That's what would happen to most people, because people actually talked to each other, and they actually answered their phone. Whereas now, I want you to think about that again. What happens in today's world when we do that same thing? It's not like it never works. It actually works decently in baby boomer circles, right?

But you get outside of baby boomers, that doesn't work at all, right? Why? Because people in their 20s and 30s, they don't even answer the phone, and they have a cell phone, and half the time, they don't even have a landline, and if you call them, they usually will text you and say, hey, I'm busy, what do you want? And those are friends, you know what I mean? Like, even today, this is really the reality, even with my friends, right?

I always text them before I'll call them to see if they're available. I don't just call people randomly, even if I'm talking to a friend, right? So the whole environment in the world has changed, and the industry is still teaching this dumb stuff, because it worked one day, like, 20, 30 years ago. So what does that do to a new rep who gets in, and none of their friends answer the phone? Well, they just will call people and hit answering machines, and then the few friends that actually pick up the phone, like, text the other friends, and pretty soon, nobody picks up their calls anymore.

It doesn't work that fast. I don't care what anybody says, right? Because I tried that shit for years. In fact, actually, after I started making on the internet, so 2009, I'm broke, I'm living in a van, and I start working on the internet, right? So I was like, okay, fine, I'm going to go all over North America and do home meetings and see what happens, right?

And I want to tell you guys something. I didn't actually think it would even work. I wanted to check if it worked, because I was so sick of, like, getting hassled to do it, that I was like, okay, I'm going to see if this works. So I spent $18,000 flying all over the place, right? I flew to Alaska, I flew to Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seattle, California, Arizona, Hawaii, all in, like, three weeks.

I mean, I was, like, everywhere at once, right? And so, you know what happened, is I broadcast all these meetings on the internet, and I sponsored more people on the internet than I did in the meetings, right? First of all, and then, like, half the areas were total no-shows, right, because people were calling people and running around, and then half the reps that I did meetings with, they just quit because they were so frustrated after that, right, because that's not why they joined. They didn't get in for that, right? And you know what I said?

I said, screw this. Screw this. If I can get 2,000 people on a Google Hangout, I'm not going to go fly around doing this crap anymore, right? Because it's just a waste of money. It's a waste of resources.

If you want to be in a home business, why not be in a home business where you're in your frickin' home, you know what I mean? That's a cool business. What about where you're in your home talking to other people in their homes all around the world? Now, that's the kind of a business that can really grab some traction, and it's really super cool and attractive. Now, I'm not knocking that stuff because it does work in some markets, but there's some markets where it just doesn't work that well.

He's in Costa Rica, I could call 100 people and have 100 people show up. It's real easy, right? But Costa Rica's a different country, it's not North America, right? And they don't have as much money here, and so I'm gonna have to build it in a different way with low-priced stuff. I don't know if that makes sense to you.

Why am I telling you all this? Well, because I got involved in this crap. And then I was in the industry for seven years, running around like a crazy person. And then what happens is, 2009, I'm broke, I'm desperate. I'm living in a van, and I was like, you know, there's gotta be a better way to do this.

There must be a better way, right? And I realized something, I realized that there's hundreds of thousands of people a day looking for a home-based business. There's hundreds of thousands of them. I mean, I'm not talking small numbers here. You know, people that look for, make money online, people that are looking specifically to join a power network, people that are looking specifically to join another deal that's not really that good of a deal.

I mean, there's hundreds of thousands of them a day, and they're looking. And like, if I think about it, like the world connected to smartphones, I don't even know what the number is anymore. I think it's close to two billion people have smartphones. Two billion, right? And those are all the people in the world that could afford to join an opportunity anyway.

You know, if you think about it, it's like if somebody doesn't have a smartphone, could they really afford most of the time to join a network marketing company? Most of the time, no. If they don't have a smartphone, it's because they're poor, right? And so if somebody has a smartphone, and they could spend money on that, probably they're more likely to be able to join if they're plugged into the internet anyway. So if you could learn to market with people that have the money to join, if you could learn to market to them when they're looking to buy, if you could learn to market to them when they've got their credit card out in hand, and then right at that right moment, you're appearing, providing to them a solution to a problem that they have, what do you think the effect of that is?

The effect is effortless selling. It's like cutting through warm butter with a hot knife. It's like, it's not like taking candy from a baby. It's like giving candy to a baby, which is actually much easier. I don't know if you've ever tried both.

Like, it's much easier to give candy to a baby than it is to take it away, right? They may get mad if you take it away, but you give them to them, they'll take it right out of your hand real quick, right? So in any case, here's the thing. I start doing this in a different way, and I start doing things in a way that's effective, where I'm not pushing into the marketplace, where I'm pulling from the marketplace, where I'm appearing in the marketplace, and I'm showing people a path, a better way. Now, before that time, I had been building offline for seven years, off and on, quitting, joining, quitting, joining, trying to figure it out, right?

The longest I ever managed to quit for, I think, was two months. I was always doing something. I couldn't get out of the industry. I just knew that I could do this. And so 2009, I finally figured out, I come in here, and then all of a sudden, it's like, bam, I'm sponsoring two to four people a day, cloaking everybody that I talk to, and it's like, people are like, whoa, show me those lines.

Well, we teach that in our products, right? But it's not the lines. It's not the lines. It's not the things you say. And that's the thing that wigs people out, is they think that there's a way to convince people who don't wanna do something that they should do it.

But there's actually not. You can't ever convince somebody to do something that they fundamentally don't want to do. Maybe you could make them think about it, and maybe eventually, they'll change their mind and decide they want to do it. But to convince somebody that, hey, you wanna do this, and they're like, no, I don't. You're like, yeah, you do.

They're like, no, I don't. You're like, yes, you do. It's just irritating, right? But if you get somebody who doesn't want to do it, and they want a solution to it, and they wanna do it in a new way, and they want to join with a good leader, they want to join with a good team, they want to join with a good company, they wanna be involved in a vision, they wanna be involved in a movement, and you get them right at that moment, then what happens? Well, here's what most people do.

They're trying to sell meat to a vegetarian, right? We actually have an audio in the Inner Circle that I think it's called Don't Sell Meat to a Vegetarian, right? And it's about target marketing. Because you gotta realize something that the worst place to have a meat shop, right, would be in a city that only had vegetarians, right? And if that's what you're doing with your business, if you're going around and trying to pitch it to people that they just don't like it, or they don't want it, or they don't wanna do it, or they're not interested, or they don't even know what it is, right?

That's a hard way to grow your business. But if all of a sudden you go into that same town, you open a raw food shop, right? Then you've got a good model because you're selling something to people where they want to buy it. Does that make sense? So you gotta learn to sell in a way people want to buy.

And you gotta learn how to target people who want to buy your stuff, and you've gotta learn to target them when they're ready to pull out their credit card and buy, and learn how to build a relationship with them in a way that produces a buying result. And that's the emphasis that I wanna have, is it's not just a relationship. See, a lot of people, they think about building a relationship, and they're like, oh, I'm just gonna go help everyone. But going around and helping everybody in an aimless sort of way doesn't necessarily produce any sort of financial result. And if you want to really help people, you've gotta do something in a way that actually produces a result for yourself first.

Because you're not gonna be able to go out there and help people. What's it say, like you can't help another drowning man when you're drowning too? You know, if you get on an airplane, you get in, and if you ever pay attention to what happens in a disaster, which really, if the plane crashes, probably everybody's gonna die if it's gonna happen, right? But you get on there, and they give you this big seal, but what do they always tell you? They tell you, you wanna take the oxygen mask before you help anyone else, get your own oxygen mask on, then help the person next to you.

Why? Because if you're not breathing, and you don't have oxygen, you're gonna be delirious, and you won't be able to help your baby. You won't be able to, because your brain won't be working right. You need to put the oxygen mask on so you can think clearly, and then help them. Does that make sense?

And a lot of people in the industry, they're like that. It's like a drowning man trying to help another drowning man, right? The blind leading the blind. What happens is they both fall into a ditch, don't they? So you gotta do things in a way that produces a result, and you can't be averse to selling stuff.

This is the thing I want you guys to understand. I meet so many people that they've got like these weird issues inside with making money and selling, you know what I mean? And they come from their family, they come from their background, and they don't even realize they're there, but this negativity towards prosperity comes out in their language. And if you think about it, it doesn't really make sense to be negative towards prosperity and to have a bad attitude about it, right? To have a bad attitude when somebody's succeeding or to always point towards their flaws, right?

It's a really common thing that people do all the time, and it doesn't make much sense. And when they do that, I don't think that they realize that what they're doing is they're pushing prosperity away from them and rejecting it inside their mind because they actually can't deal with the fact that they're not accomplishing those results. It's actually from jealousy, right? And coveting that those emotions come from. It's not from good places, right?

Well, why does somebody see somebody succeeding and say, oh, yeah, yeah, that's because they don't care about anyone. Well, that has nothing to do with each other. Some rich people care about people and some rich people don't, right? Has nothing to do with each other, right? Now, I think that if you care about people, you're generally gonna have a happier, successful journey, but they have nothing to do with each other.

I see people saying things all the time, like, hey, I'm not rich, but at least I'm happy. And it's like, why did you even say that? What made you say that? I'm not mad at you for saying it, I don't hate you, but what made you say that is because you think that being rich makes you unhappy. So you say, oh, I'm not rich, but at least I'm happy.

So your brain, what you're doing is you're rejecting prosperity, you're rejecting it because you think that if you're prosperous, you can't be happy. Well, they have nothing to do with each other. You can make money and be happy and you can make money and be miserable. Making money is making money, it has nothing to do with happiness or sadness or anything. It's just something that's there, right?

You gotta learn to stop loving money and coveting it so much and realize that it's just a form of energy. And what do you learn to do with energy? You learn to utilize it and focus it, right? Like we do with electricity, that's all we're doing. We're learning to utilize and focus and generate energy, right?

And if you learn to think about money like that, it's no different than a light bulb. It's a resource that you have access to. It's something that you can flip on and light up the room. But what money does tend to do is it tends to amplify things. It tends to amplify the good things about you.

It tends to amplify the bad things about you. Like I've seen that about myself over the years. I've seen it with other people. People that are a little arrogant when they get a lot of money get really arrogant. People that are a little humble, they tend to actually struggle a little bit more with humility but stay in it, right?

And their goodness of their heart tends to come out, right? Because you can see the goodness in someone's heart when they have access to lots of resources. You can see it by where they aim the resources and what they'll do to get the resources. If somebody's willing to do anything for money, doesn't matter who they harm, doesn't matter who they step on, well, that's revealing that person is not a very good person, right? But if somebody realizes that money is a resource and they're willing to give more value than the money that they're getting in the marketplace in exchange for that resource, then what does it reveal?

It reveals that they've got good morals, good ethics. They've got a good philosophy, right? So don't judge money based on your bad attitude, based on the stuff you learned in school from your dumb counselor, right? And they might not be dumb. Maybe they're just frustrated too, right?

You know what I mean? But they tell you dumb things. Don't judge the resource based on how people are using it. It's like a hammer. If I have a hammer in my hand, I could crush through somebody's head with it, but I could also build a house.

And money is like that. It's a resource, nothing more, nothing less. It has no good or evil inside of it. It's empty. It's just a resource.

But if you learn to think like that, you've got to help yourself before you help other people. And the best way to do that is actually by helping yourself while you're helping other people at the same time. Because you could do that both ways. But helping yourself while you're helping others at the same time, it tends to have a better long-term outcome, right? And that's what I found.

I found that when you really, really, really give from a place of good intention, not everybody even believes it. You know what I mean? Like I say things about my intentions, and I think people, most of the time, they don't believe them until they get to know me real well. You know, I remember I started working out, I posted this video where my Kung Fu master that I trained with every few months, he crushed through like 79 full cans of soda in like a minute and a half with his bare hands. And his hands are like bleeding as he's crushing cans.

So it's a really psychotic video, honestly. I saw that, and I still can't believe that I saw a person do that. I posted my Facebook wall. But in any case, when I met that guy, he could not believe that I talked to the same behind the scenes as I do in front of people. He says, I've never met a business person like this.

This is really bizarre to be around. He froze his brain up a little bit. He's like, because behind the scenes, he saw me reject ideas that weren't in people's best interest, right? Behind the scenes, when nobody's looking, when a camera's not on me, right? When there's nobody recording, I talk the same.

And it really waked him out, because he'd never met somebody like that before. He says, dude, I'm wigged out right now. I've never, because he had always rejected money. And why did he reject money? He rejected money because of negativity that was in his family about money, not because money itself is bad.

I have a friend who has an issue with money, and this is why he's got it. He's got it because his dad was successful, but never spent time with the family, right? And so in his mind, he's like, well, and I see him doing this all the time, and he doesn't do it intentionally. But he can't help it, right? And so what does he do?

He says, oh, you know, well, I don't have money. I don't have money, but at least I spend time with my kids. And I'm here to say, why not have both? Why not have both? Why not do both at the same time?

Because you can. There's no limitations on what you can do that are external. All the things that are limitations on what you can do are reference points that are built inside your mind and heart, right? Not outside. There's no limitations to what you can do on the outside, because we've seen again and again, people break all the records.

People break all the models of the world. People break through all the presuppositions of what's there, right? And so there's nothing on the outside that limits you. What limits you is what's inside your heart, right? So why not have both?

Why not spend the money with your, why not spend, why not have lots of money to spend with your kids as you're spending time with them? Wouldn't that be a little less stressful? Why not be able to have the house that you want to live in and live in the country you want to live in and live in the area you want to live in, the state and city? Why not do that, right? Well, you have access to lots of resources and lots of abundance and lots of freedom.

Why not have both at the same, why not have your cake and eat it too? I love that saying. You know, when somebody says, you know, you can't have your cake and eat it too, and I actually don't know how you can eat a cake without having it at the same time. I actually don't understand that. It's like a riddle with words, you know, but people say that when they're like, oh yeah, yeah, you want to make money and have a life at the same time.

It's like, oh yeah, you can't have your cake and eat it too. It's like, actually, I've never eaten a cake without having it, so I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Somebody's got to explain that to me one day, you know? But I like to have my cake and eat it at the same time, you know, to have it and enjoy it, right? I like to have money and enjoy the money and to be able to do things that I love to do and to be able to impact people's lives and be able to do the things that I want to do, to work the work I want to work with charity and stuff like that.

I like to be able to do it all, right? To do it all, to have it all, to actually pursue your actual passions that aren't limited by some sort of model somebody else built in your brain that doesn't exist in the external world, right? Because if you actually get around people who actually have resources, what you'll find is that they're predominantly good people. And it'll wig you out if you've got this all sorts of bad attitudes in your brain around rich people. Maybe you met one bad rich person in your life and you've never actually met the ones that I've met because I meet them and they're actually quite nice, all of them.

They actually give more money away than most broke people do. They generally have more attitudes that are good attitudes towards broke people than broke people do towards rich people. And it's actually bizarre to look at that, you know, and to look at society and to look at the way we portray wealth and portray riches, you know what I mean? And you got, what do you got? You got a hero who's poor and a villain who's rich.

The only example that's counter to that is like Batman, right? That's it, right? He's like the rich hero, right? But who else do you got? You got Superman, who's he, right?

The poor reporter, you know? Here's a guy that can crush coal with his hands and make diamonds, but instead of doing that and then just going and saving people all day, he waits all day and all night doing a stupid job, right? And therefore limits his ability to save people to probably never have time to spend with his family because he's like running around saving people because he's working some dumb job trying to fit in, but he doesn't fit in, he's a hero, right? It makes no sense, right? And most of the heroes are like that.

They're like these poor people that are like vigilantes in the night, you know what I mean? But the real heroes of the world are people that help lots of people, the people that impact people. And generally those people do have wealth, they do have access to resources. You know, you look at somebody like Tony Robbins, I see that guy as a hero, right? You look at somebody like, you know, like all the people that really, really, really have created an impact through great books, through great works of art, right?

Through great TV series, through great movies, you know what I mean? And you look at them and they really add a lot of value to the world and they also have access to lots of resources. Those are the real heroes and they're all rich, you know what I mean? Why are they rich? They're rich because of the value that they gave to the marketplace.

This goes back into target marketing, right? Which is the subject I got on and I started talking about this. By the way, if you guys are enjoying this value, go ahead and mention it on Facebook and also make sure you have your tickets to Generation Hero because we got some bad-ass stuff happening this week and I have no idea how long I'm gonna talk tonight but you wanna make sure that you have your livestream tickets to Generation Hero and you buy those because I believe that they're on the page rather than listening in to the call. If you actually go there, you can get those and the price is going up, I believe, later this week. Hold on, I grabbed something to drink.

So it's like, okay, right? So what do I do? Let's go back to target marketing, right? Because it's not just learning how to market the people that are looking and market to them at the right time. It's learning how to speak their language, learning how to give them what they need and what they want.

Learning how to give them what's good for them. Even sometimes when they don't know that it's good for them, learning how to do that. Learning how to be a good person in the sense where you're giving good value, right? Not a good person in the sense where you're running around trying to be Mother Teresa because there's nothing wrong with Mother Teresa, understand what I'm saying. But this is not a charity.

If you wanna do charity full-time, you should go do what Mother Teresa did and go rake money and go do charity, right? This is a business, right? So if you're getting people into a business environment and you're not actually helping them make money, you're not actually helping them to expand their resources, you're not actually helping them step into their dreams, you're not actually giving them value in this space that they're in, you're not actually giving value to the space, right? You're not actually giving value to the space. Sometimes in order to give value, you gotta charge money.

Actually, most of the time. Most of the time. Find a good mentor who makes lots of money and a good mentor in a business world must make lots of money. Find one who makes lots of money who you can tap into their resources and advice for free all the time. Find them, right?

And why can't you? You're like, well, they should give it away. Well, no, they shouldn't because if they were doing that, they'd be setting you up for failure in your own business. Like if I taught you, hey, go spend time with everybody for free with no financial transactions and just go give your time away in unlimited amounts, what does it do? It creates a broke, hardworking person.

Well, that's no different than having a job, right? I'm not gonna help you to do that because it's destructive to you, right? So if I teach you, hey, don't sell anything, don't sell anything, just give away everything for free all the time, right? That's what you need to do, right? Go give everything away.

What's it gonna do? You're gonna go out there and give your heart and soul away and never ask for money and because of that, you're gonna be broke and that's gonna break your heart and soul and eventually you'll be burned out and just quit the industry. That's not helping, right? But people get these weird ideas about what helping somebody is because they have problems with money and they have problems with asking for money, right? It's good to give things away for free, especially if you've got resources and you're taking care of yourself.

You know what I mean? Because if you've got all the resources in the world and you just wanna help somebody out, well, then it's different. You know how to help them. But even then, it's not a good idea because they're gonna do what you're doing, right? So I did this in my business when I first got started online.

I get started and my pitch was basically, if you join me, I'm gonna show you everything to do. I'm gonna help you to do it. I'm gonna help you set up your websites. I'm gonna help you get your autoresponders in place. I'm gonna make sure that you get started right.

It's a great pitch. You're like, I would like to join that. No, you wouldn't like to join that. Here's why. Because then you would have to do that too in order to grow a team.

So imagine for a second if I have to help you set up your blog, help you set up your autoresponder, help you do this and that, and there's no transaction there other than some sort of tiny commission amount, and I'm helping you, helping you, helping you, helping you. What did I actually accomplish? Well, number one, I spent lots of my time without making very much money. And number two, I taught someone how to give lots of their time without making very much money. So I taught you through my actions what to do in order to be very broke, frustrated, and consumed with your time.

Now I didn't realize that when I started to do that. I just thought, hey, I really want to help people. But in desiring to help people, I was actually destructive to myself, and therefore also to the other people around. So I quickly discovered that through some good mentors, and then I changed the pitch. And I said, actually, the reason you should join me is that I won't help you personally with anything.

And then I explained it. I said, it's not because I don't care about you. It's quite the opposite is true. Our team has a team resource site, and you can go to the site and go through the training, and set up your sites and your resources and all that stuff on your own. And because we actually have access to this team community site where we all help each other, you don't have to stay there on the phone, and on Hangouts, and on Skype conference calls, helping people with everything all day and night, making no money, frustrated, and broke, because my team, we make money, and we have a life at the same time, because we work together.

That's why you should join. Now that pitch actually worked as good as the first pitch. Actually, it worked better, because here's why. Because I thought that if I didn't do that stuff with people, they couldn't produce. And you know where it came from?

It didn't come from what people actually do. It came from lack of faith in people. It was generated from a lack of faith in myself. Because any time somebody doesn't believe in people, where is that being generated from? It's being generated from a lack of self-belief, a lack of self-faith, a lack of self-trust.

Because if you don't believe in other people, where is that really coming from? It's coming from a lack of belief in yourselves. Or you think you're better than other people, which is not true, and it's also a problem. Because if you think you're better than other people, there's always somebody better than you. It's an imbalanced view of the world to think like that.

So in any case, I found personally, and I found this true for a lot of people, not only did that work better, it worked about the same with converting sales, but not only did it work better, but it produced more leaders. Because when people went out there and they liked a butterfly, beat their own wings against the side of the cocoon to break free, they got out and could fly. Whereas when I came and I broke them out of the cocoon, they'd fall to the earth and die, just like the butterfly. I'm sure you guys have heard that metaphor, that butterflies, if you actually get them in the cocoon, when they're beating their wings, you can actually hear them. They're struggling.

There's butterfly farms all over Costa Rica. You go see like thousands of butterflies in a room. And I'd never actually seen this. And then I go and I walk, and you can see them, but the cocoons are shaking around, and you want to just take it and break it free. But then the butterfly will never gain the strength of its wings to be able to fly, because they gain that strength by beating their wings against the edges of the cocoon until it breaks.

That's how they fly, and leaders are like that. You have to allow people at some level to go through their own learning, to go through their own struggles, to fall on their face a little bit. It's good for them. It's not bad for them. You know what I mean?

And think about it like this. It's like if you just get in this industry and you never have any struggles, who can you really connect with? Nobody, right? If I just got in the industry in 2002, and I had never, ever failed at anything, and then I just got in and immediately succeeded, and I had no failure, no rags-to-riches story, I'm missing the metaphor. I'm missing the archetype.

I'm missing the reason. I'm missing the hero, because that's what a hero is. It's the archetype, isn't it? That's why our event is called Generation Hero. About helping entrepreneurs rise.

It's because to rise, you have to have something to rise from. The phoenix rises from where? It rises from the ashes. Why does it do that? Because that is the metaphor.

And if you don't have your own personal transformation, your own personal transformation, how are you going to help other people? You can't. So sometimes in allowing people to go through their own personal struggles and victories, you're actually allowing them to gain the strength in their wings to fly. You're in the process of them being burnt to the ashes. They rise like the phoenix from them.

And people have got to go through a struggle in order to step into their victory. It's part of the metaphor. It's part of life. And any time you hear something different, you're not hearing all of the story. Someone is either hiding it.

It happened so long ago they don't remember it, or they're lying. Because sometimes you do hear things like, this is my first deal. I've made a million dollars. And it's like, okay, what were your first two years in it like? Or what happened right before that?

What was happening in your personal life before that? Oh, yeah, yeah, okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You had a relationship problem that drove you to near insanity from lack of money. And then you got in the industry from years of financial struggle, and then you immediately put your heart and soul into it.

Okay, so you did go through the struggle. There's always something that you're not hearing in those stories. There's always something that's hidden. But if somebody is honest like me, it will be like, hey, the reason I'm as successful as I am. It's like T.D.

Jakes was saying. I was watching this sermon the other day. And he goes, some people say, I want the success, but they can't handle the pain. They can't handle it. They quit.

I've seen some people quitting from time to time. And I always think quitter to quitter. And I don't care who it is. I don't care how close I am with them or whatever. To me, somebody who quits is somebody who quits.

And a reason for quitting is a reason for quitting. It's nothing more. It's nothing less. It's a reason. And comparatively to a lot of people, when they quit because they stubbed their toe, I've walked through molten lava and not quit.

And so I don't really have that much mercy on it. Because it's just quitting. It's giving up. It's not doing what you said you'd do. It's going back on your word to people.

You know what I mean? It's going back on your word and then doing something vicious sometimes. I see this in the industry sometimes. And this is actually – I'm going to tell you guys something. I actually just made a video.

I'm going to send it to my personal list. And it's because I'm out there marketing too. So I make videos like Michael Martin does, or like Justin Berenge does, and I do this to sign people up. Because I'm out there marketing. So I want to lead by example.

And so when I make this video, and in this video I'm talking about this concept, where it's like there's something I don't like about this industry. Let me tell you what it is. I told you what I like about it earlier in this call. Let me tell you what I don't like about it. Vicious assholes.

Truthfully, I'm just going to be real. Vicious assholes, quitters, and shit like that. I just don't like it. And I'll never like it. I've done emotional work, and I've been like, am I angry about this?

I'm not really angry about it. But I don't really like it. And I don't think there's anything that can convince me to like it. I understand it's a necessary evil. It's like a part of life, because we're dealing with people.

You know what I mean? Let me tell you why I started Power Network, and this is really going to fit in for you. So I'm in this industry, and I joined a company. It's called iLearning Global. This is when I get online.

And that company was about a third of my income, because I was selling info products, and I was also in this network marketing deal. They didn't have high-ticket stuff like Empower has, so I couldn't generate all my money from the deal. It would have been ridiculous, right? Because I wouldn't have to do anything on my own. But in this thing, I needed multiple income streams, because it was only small residual income.

That's all they had available. And it's going up every month by about 20%. It's really growing fast. And one day I get a call from the CEO. I can't even remember what title he had.

And he goes, Dave. And he sounded nervous. I was like, yeah, what's up man? And he goes, I could tell he was nervous, because I was a little psycho. So anyways, he's like, we decided to cancel the network marketing arm of the company.

Awkward pause on my end. You did fucking what? That's how I responded. He repeats himself. I said, so who decided to cancel the reason your company has customers in the first place?

I'll tell you, he was uncomfortable. And then he basically threatened me that if I did anything to harm them, they'd sue me. And I said, dude, you've got a problem, because you can't stop me from doing shit. I hung up my phone, and my new team was in the next company two hours late, because I wasn't going to let them float it, because they got in for network marketing. And just what I told that guy would happen is their subscriptions went to near zero.

I don't think they're in business. And so why did that happen? It happened, because you've got a board of directors who didn't understand what we do, looking at all this subscription income, saying our greatest expense is the affiliates. And they actually had the nerve to ask me to be a sales manager to sell this business to business. And I said, dude, nobody's going to buy this thing if you don't do it in this model.

You're killing yourselves. And they threatened me, and I hung up the phone, and recruited everybody into another thing. Why did I do that? Because they canceled network marketing. Not because I wanted to.

They canceled it on me. They canceled the deal. I would have never quit that thing, not ever. So I joined another deal. Now that company actually had good owners, and I liked them, but they went through their own set of problems.

I'm not going to mention them, because I like them a lot. They're still my friends. So here's the thing. I go through, and what I see in this industry is late. It's not what I fell in love with, and this is what I see people doing.

I see people getting in a deal, going and building a team, quitting, and then taking people to a new deal. And it is just incestuous to build like that, and to operate like that, and to live a life like that. And I said, you know what, I don't like this. I'm going to do something different, because I want my team to be in a safe environment. I want to be in a safe environment, an environment where we can really build something together.

And you'll notice in the four years of Empower Network's history, we have never promoted an affiliate offer to our list. We've never recruited anybody into a new deal. We've never sold any product that didn't directly benefit somebody in their business. And even when it has been harmful to me financially, I haven't taken advantage of certain opportunities to make much, because I want a safe environment for people and their teams. So I'm building this in a certain way, because the way that I'm building it is the environment that I always want to be involved with.

And I've always wanted an environment like that for my team to be involved with, where they really can build a future. And that's the direction where all the decisions come from. It's what's going to give people the best future, which sometimes isn't necessarily the biggest win now, although sometimes it also is. Sometimes the biggest future is in making sure that everything that we're doing now is working just right through tests. Sometimes the biggest future is in the little things that gain people's trust over time.

I go through it, if you talk to the leadership in Empower Network, they'll tell you this is true. They'll tell you. You say, why are you in Empower Network? And this is what 98% of the leaders will say. They'll say, because Dave Woods is in Empower Network.

That's what they'll say. And I'm not saying that because I'm better than another human being. I don't think I am. I'm saying that because I actually care about the leaders. I actually care about them.

I love them. You know what I mean? And I will defend them from things that are going to hurt them. You know what I mean? And they know that.

They've come to know that over the years. They've come to know that even when things were hard, I didn't give up on them. And so they're here because of me. And I'm here because of them. So it's a win-win, isn't it?

So anyways, I get this company started. And we went and did some great things. We did some things that weren't perfect all the time. You know what I mean? And the thing that I've learned watching this, watching this, has been there are certain things that we've done really well that have worked amazingly well.

And there are certain things that we've done that haven't worked as well. And you know what the value of it is, is that now after watching it all, after $184 million in sales, and more data than any Internet marketer has, when we really think about it. I mean guys, I've got data stretching across like maybe a billion page views on our site to look at. I've got information that nobody in the industry has access to, because they don't have this much traffic, because they haven't generated this much sales, because they haven't had this many reps involved. I've got information that nobody has.

And here's what I'm going to tell you, and this is what's going to blow your mind. The thing that made Empower Network great was the original idea of what created it. And you know what that is, and this is going to make you smile after all is said and done. You know what that is? Having the right heart, the right vision, and the right product to sell.

Now I'm going to talk about that. As you guys are going to see, you're going to log into the members area here tomorrow. And I built a new member introduction series that goes back to the core of who Empower Network is. Now the reason I did this, because we've done a lot of things over the years. Back in 2013, we did something we shouldn't have done.

Now I'm telling you this, and I know not all of you are at Empower Network, and here's why I'm telling it to you. Because things are actually going great right now, and I want to be transparent about the things that I've learned. Sometimes people could maybe misunderstand the reasons why I'm saying these things for another reason, but really it's because I've found, and this is my personal journey, that every time I'm not transparent it bites me in the ass. And I've been overly transparent most of the time across the history that I've been in business online. I've been more transparent than any company owner you'll ever run across.

I've been transparent when everybody around me said, no, don't be transparent. Don't tell people about that. And I've told people about it, and it's always been a good thing. When I haven't been transparent, and I haven't told people the truth, that's when it's bitten my ass. And it's not because I've told them a lie.

I've never done that. But when somebody really has pushed and convinced me and said, oh, keep that a secret. Keep that a secret. There's an old saying that says you're only as dark as your secrets. So I like to actually just tell people about everything.

Tell people what you're doing. I like to tell you what's coming. I like to tell you what our plans are, and where we're headed in the future, and how we're going to get there, and how we're going to keep it together. I like to teach you about it, because in the process of learning it, you'll know how to sell it better. In the process of learning it, you'll be able to overcome objections to it.

So in 2013, we launched this thing that messed up our core product. And I'm not going to talk about what it was, because if you're not around then, it doesn't really matter to you, because that thing isn't there anymore. We've now fixed it. We fixed it like a year, maybe a year and a half ago. And that thing messed us up pretty bad.

But you know what? We went through some hard times after that, and you know what I did during those hard times? I put my money where my mouth was, and I made it right. That's what I did. I didn't ask the affiliate to give money towards it.

I didn't go around begging somebody else to fix it. I put my money, my checkbook, my finances on the line to fix it. Why? Because I'm going to do what I said I'm going to do. That's why.

And there are very few people that know that whole story, and know how extensive it was. But I'll tell you something here. I've done stuff that no company owner has ever done, ever, that kept this company around, and is responsible for the reasons that it's here today, and it's prospering again. And I do it again in a heartbeat. Why?

Because I care about you. So we're in this space now where I'm looking back, and I'm looking back through history. And I say, ah, interesting. The reason this company got as big as it did is because of the original idea that started it. Isn't that fascinating how inspiration works, and how ideas come together at the right times to teach you something?

See, I got started in my business blogging back in 2009. I think a lot of people write this off because it's an old story. I started a blog because I was broke, and I didn't have money to do paid advertising. Then a few months later, all the search networks kicked everybody off paid advertising, and I was doing blogging, and I just thrived because it hadn't changed at all. In fact, blogging has been working for over 20 years.

And the future of marketing on the Internet is actually the same as it's been, which is creating good content. That's where marketing has always been. It's like how do you give value to a target market? You create good content. That's what you do.

If you want to know how to get somebody to trust you in your market – I'm not talking about somebody who trusts you to say, let's take bullets together, or whatever, or hey, let's drink from this point. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about somebody to trust you with financial decisions, to trust you with their credit card information, to trust you with a buying decision. That's a different kind of trust – hold on, I'll get something to drink. That's a different kind of trust than getting somebody to say, yeah, I love you and I got your back.

It's getting somebody to trust you enough to make a decision to pull out their credit card. And how do you do that? You give good content to them that solves their problem. That's how you get people to trust you. Now that might not necessarily be how you sell them.

Selling is different than creating the trust, and this is where people get hung up, is they don't know the difference. But it's how you get enough trust from them that when you reach out to sell them something, they actually click on the offer. They actually watch the video, and they convert in abnormally high ratios that aren't necessarily related to the conversions in the video. You know what I mean? You see, if somebody clicks through, and say a video has cold traffic conversions at 1.5%, that's actually pretty high.

If you talk to any marketers, maintaining a 1.5% cold traffic conversion to something, actually you just have to constantly flip after. It will just immediately drop, because what happens is anything that converts well gets filled in the paid traffic marketplace, and then the conversions start to drop, and you have to constantly test. But let's talk about something else, and let's talk about how you get unnatural conversions, because that's what I want. I don't want normal paid traffic conversions. I don't want to get unnatural superhuman conversions.

But it's conversions that don't make much sense. How do you do it? You create good content for people, content that helps them win. You have a bunch of people in this industry that are struggling, that are listening to a million people. million voices outside their head.

They're listening to a million people, a million different leaders that all have a different message to them. People that are in one deal today, another deal tomorrow, one deal they say, I promise I'll never leave. They stub their toe. They quit. And then they go out there and try to cross recruit everybody's teams.

And then people are confused at what this leader is saying, but really they are distorting the truth for their own financial gain is what they are doing. And they don't know who to trust. That's the reality. And a sales video is not going to create that trust. It never will.

But what does create that trust is creating good content for them, creating good information. No matter what's going on, you are always a source of good content and good training to help them win a little bit more. That's what actually, actually will create high open rates. And people that click through, and rather than having 1.5% buy, when they click through they are better pre-framed because you create better content, and they already want to join. And then what happens is you convert it like 10% and 20%.

I always converted from my blog list that I got, I always converted 1.5%. 1.5%. You say, 1.5% that's really high conversions. It's because it's not conversions guys. It's trust.

That's what it is. And the two are different. Why can a good old-school network marketer go show the plan to 30 people and have 30 people get in? It's because the people trust them. In the digital age, creating trust isn't about the same thing that it used to be about, and the same thing it still is about if you are doing personal networking.

Like that guy in that book where it's like Never Eat Alone. I don't know if you guys have ever read that. It's Keith Maserati. It's a great book, but thank God I would never want to live like that. It's like Never Eat Alone.

He's always out like breakfast, lunch, and dinner eating with other people, networking, giving value. I've got friends who do that in the network marketing space, and they literally are in a different city every week just meeting up with people and hanging out. So whenever they want to do something, they've got a list of people that kind of feel like emotionally almost an obligation to join. It's called reciprocity. There's that book.

I think it's called The Seven Laws of Power. I can't remember the name, but I think that's it. And he talks about different laws. One of the laws of power – no, it's influence. Influence is the name of the book.

Excuse me. And in that book he talks about reciprocity. And they did a study. This is from the Harry Christians. I don't know if you remember them, but they were trying to raise money, and they were having a hard time.

Those are those irritating guys in the airports that used to give you a flower or whatever. So what they would do is they found that if they went up and they'd say, hey, take this free book, people would say, oh, thanks, and start walking away. But then the person would say, could you please make a donation? And then you'd say, no dude, just take the book back, but they wouldn't take it back. So people felt obligated to give them money.

Now that was actually – it felt weird. It was a little bit of an awkward version of reciprocity. And I don't really like what they were doing, because it made me want to punch them in the face when I was in airports when I was a kid, not now. Now I would just sit there and talk to them and not take the book is what I'd do. Or I'd take the book and give them $100 and just say, go grab a good meal, dude.

But in any case, that actually worked for raising money for their temples and stuff, because they gave people something, and then people felt obligated because they were given something to give something back. That is the art of content marketing, except it doesn't make people feel icky. It doesn't, and they could buy or not buy if they want. But if you create good content and good value, which what's good value? It's things that solve people's problems.

What happens? You create an engaged, responsive list. Like you want to go look at good value, you go look at some people's Facebooks that really have a lot of engagement, and they're always giving good value on their Facebooks. What value? They're giving their market what their market wants and needs so desperately.

That's how you create unnatural conversions, because then people just open the stuff and they buy. You know what I mean? That is the secret of content marketing, of blogging really. But here's the other thing. If you can't actually pay for the amount of traffic I get for free, that's the thing I think people don't really understand.

I was looking back at old blog traffic from like my first blog, and it was down for like four days last month. Paul Hutchings pointed it out for me, and now I've got it back online. I was looking at that traffic, and I haven't touched that thing in like years. I'm a blog post here and there, and I'm still getting like 2,900 unique visitors a month from stuff I literally have not really, really, really engaged on it, or done anything with it in like four years. How much would it cost you to pay for that many clicks?

Now you might be able to pay for really targeted clicks, and get better conversions than a blog post would convert, so you're not going to really get conversions better than maybe 10% or something of your blog traffic, because people are also reading the content. They're not just there to opt in. But the thing is, how much would that cost you? I haven't touched that in four years. But in Power Network Domain you get like 7 million unique visitors a month, like 7 million.

Pay for that. Try to. You can't do it. Why? Because that's like real organic content traffic that other people pay, sites that have that kind of traffic, to tap into that traffic to get clicks.

That's how people pay for clicks. You go to Facebook, Facebook has organic traffic from the Facebook content, and people pay to get clicks from that organic content. See, blogging creates your own organic content that you control. And that's the value in it, and that's the magic in it. And that my friends, is the source of this company.

Because I want to teach you guys something. I want to teach you how to get rich in Power Network for the next few minutes. And just hear me out. Because I'm going to tell you something, regardless of whether you do it or not, I'll find somebody else to do it. I'm literally not worried about it, whether you do it or not.

And the reason is, is because there's an abundance of people. There's an abundance of traffic. There's an abundance of leads. There's an abundance of content. I don't necessarily need you to do it.

Because I'll just find so many people, and I'll get so much conversion, that whether you do it or not, I will create the richness in my team that I desire. The wealth, I will create it. And so, in Power Network, how did we do this? Well, it's really from one reason. Because I had a successful business.

It was like if you have a mom-and-pop shop that's really successful, that makes lots of money, that's set up in a certain way that generates really, really, really good customer response. And then the mom-and-pop shop looks at it one day, and they say, I'm going to franchise this. And then all of a sudden, you've got something like McDonald's, which is really a franchise that was like the McDonald's brothers, right? And then they were bought by Ray Kroc, right? But why did McDonald's work?

McDonald's worked because they were taking a model that worked, and they were replicating it into a system that worked for other people, right? That's what franchises are. Now, here's the thing. People don't understand. Franchises don't always work.

They're just more predictable than doing things on your own. And so people will pay, think about this for a second, a million dollars to get a McDonald's franchise, because it's more predictable than a traditional business. You've got to go to like a school to learn to do it that they have. You've got to pay like a million dollars. McDonald's owns the real estate for it.

And then you've got to manage like the worst employee turnover that exists in the world, which is McDonald's employees, right? 17-year-olds with bad attitudes make a minimum wage, right? Now, I might be judging it a little too much, but this is the essential world of McDonald's, right? But franchises are like that. A Subway franchise, same thing, right?

A Sonic franchise, it costs a little bit more, also makes a little bit more money. And a franchise, you've got to pay five times the average annual income of the franchise, right? And so what really worked about Empower Network was not that it was just blogging. Blogging is the leverage point for all of us, right? And not a lot of you understand that, and so you don't do it.

But blogging is the leverage point for our business, right? Always has been, always will be. Now, here's the thing, right? We give people essentially a franchise of a proven business model that works, which is my business model, right? So the core of making that great is making the franchise of it work, which is the core blog and what it does, right?

And that is my friend. That is the future. But I'm not going to talk too much, because we've got this new Fast Start training coming out tomorrow that will explain this. And all of you need to go through that and just reorient yourselves into really who we are and what we do. And we will do it, with or without you.

And not new fancy stuff. The new fancy stuff is going to create some sales too. I'm just talking about taking what we've got and turning it into a machine, right? A money creation commission firing AK-47 with never-ending supply of bullets shooting commissions onto the Internet. That's what we're going to create.

And see our income disclosure. That was a good metaphor, right? So we get back to this thing. And it's like you've got to learn how to have a good attitude about the things that we do, and see it in the right light. You know what I mean?

And sometimes we do things that you won't understand as a person who is just coming into this environment. And sometimes those things really are there to benefit you in a massive way, but you don't quite see how it's going to benefit you yet, okay? But here's what I'm going to tell you. Trust us, okay? It's not just about me.

It's not just about the corporate team. It's not just about the leadership. Trust the leaders here. The leaders that are here, they have good hearts. You know what I mean?

Paul Hutchings, he's got a good heart. Aaron Raskin, he's got a good heart. Tracy Walker, she's got a good heart. You know, Alex and Anna, they've got good hearts. Michael Martin, right?

Justin V. Berenjia, right? Pat Patterson, Sarita, Cleese, right? These people all have good hearts, and there's lots of people with good hearts in our company, right? And that's the thing that you really want in a leader.

You know, there's this leader. I see people joining this thing right now, and they just don't know how vicious and evil of a person he is. Oh, I'll mention his name, because it's not worth it. But sometimes people will do things for opportunity and sacrifice their soul in the process. And so they'll get involved with people that they kind of know will stab them in the back for money, because they've got a bad attitude about money.

And that's okay. People are people, and people are going to do what they do, right? But what I'll tell you is this, is that the leaders here, because they care about you. They legitimately are concerned for your future. They legitimately will do things and go out of their way to make things right that aren't right, to give you their heart and soul, to give you value that they don't need to give.

They'll take their time, and their energy, and their money freely and do it. You know, Lawrence Tam, for example, he was – we were in the leadership chat. What a great guy, you know? And we were talking in a month when, you know, we didn't have tons of resources to do new things, right? And sometimes there's months like that.

And he always says, he goes, I will freely give 15 to 20 hours a week of my time to corporate if you need it. That's a leader. Service first, right? Why does Lawrence Tam have the business he has? Because he's like that.

That's the kind of person you want to be in business with. Not in it for his own gain. He gains because of his value. That's the philosophy, my friends. And when you get that, you won't have any money issues.

Because a lot of times the reason people have money issues is because they want to help people. And they just don't know how to do it right. And if they knew how to do it right, they wouldn't have money issues. Their money issues would just evaporate and go away. They turn from the scalding of standing on the surface of the sun to the distant flicker of the light in the sky of the same star 100,000 light years away.

The problems are just in the distance. See, I know fundamentally because of what I know how to do that I could be dropped in a city where I don't speak the language and I don't know the people and I could just be given a laptop that works. It would need to work for about six months, right? I could get an internet connection that was decent, a camera, which I could use in my phone, right? No resources, no money, nothing.

Why could I do it? Because I know what to do. That's the value in learning. That's the value in understanding what you really got here. Understanding our model, not just selling.

See, some people they get excited when they make a sale. I get excited when you understand. Because when you understand, the sales will flow freely, right? They say from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, right? Well, from the abundance of your wisdom, commissions flow.

And if you learn what I talked about here, target marketing, content creation, giving value, right? You're not just going to have a commission. You're going to have a business. And that's what you got to learn to think about this as. You got to learn to think about it as a business, right?

Businesses are there and they exist to serve the marketplace. And by the service of the marketplace, they create profits. And by reinvesting those profits into more service, they create more profits. By giving them value, and by value I mean solutions to problems, you create responsive customers, right? If you go to a doctor and he never solves your problems, do you go back?

No. You go back to the doctor that gives you solutions to your problems. That doesn't just say, hey, you're over, why don't you take this pill? But maybe he has a hard conversation with you about your habits. That's who you go back to, right?

Who do people stay with in this industry? They stick around people who's given them so much that they got to stick around. That's the secret to keeping people around. If you want to know, it's like, hey, what's the secret to culture? Giving, right?

It's giving a value. It's doing more than you're asked. It's realizing that the best leaders are the best servants, right? Realizing that to be a leader, you've got to follow. And by following, you've got to learn.

That's what I mean. Sometimes people think that being a follower is a bad thing. But being a follower is actually just about learning. It's about being humble, and being learning is about humility, right? It's about humility.

It's about softness in your heart. It's about realizing that you don't know it all, that you didn't do it by yourself, that there was a lot of good people around you that helped. Humility, guys, is about reading, and listening to audios, and following the steps that you're asking other people to follow, and continuing to better yourself along the way. About realizing and admitting your flaws, and realizing that you're not perfect as a human being. Even if you're good at something, you're not good at something else, and you need to keep learning all the time in your business and your life, right?

Humility is about looking at your weaknesses. And guys, when I talk about humility, I've had plenty of times when I've been so prideful, you know, I'm amazed I was able to survive, because pride is the beginning of a fall. And that's the thing that you've got to learn when you're growing, is that it's not just about making money. It's about learning how to build something that lasts, and that when you get prideful, what's the first thing that you do? You immediately stop doing the things that you did to create the success that you have.

That's what pride creates. Pride creates, pride turns a student into a guru, right? Into a fallen guru. That's what it does. Because the best gurus, what do they do?

They continue to learn. The worst thing about the word enlightenment is acting like you've arrived. But the people that are really enlightened, they don't do that, do they? Right? They don't act like they've arrived.

Because they realize in their enlightenment that they can't arrive, that it's just a process. And when you realize that, that every day, your job is to just be a little bit better. Every day becomes a little bit better than the day before. Every day, your business becomes a little bit better than it was the day before. Every day your content gets a little bit better than it was the day before.

Every day, you give a little bit more value than you did the day before. Every day, you read maybe a little bit more than you did the day before. Every day, you learn to love a little bit more. You learn to give in a different way. You learn to utilize your time a little bit better every day.

And if you learn to do that, then you have something new to teach. And that's the secret, if you want to know, is to learn to teach simultaneously and never stop. See, if you stop learning, and if you stop learning new things, your brain will stop being flexible, too. Learning keeps the brain alive. You know, learning keeps the brain alive.

What happens to people when they retire? They die. Why do they die, right? And look this up if you really want to study some interesting stuff, right? Look up people who retire.

When people retire, they die like an average of a year later. So why do people go through their whole life and survive, and then one year they retire, and the next year they die on it? It's because there's no glory in doing nothing. There's no glory in giving no value. There's no glory.

There's no progression. There's no satisfaction in sitting there watching TV with no hopes and dreams. That's not fun, and it's not a way to live. And when people don't do something active when they retire, that's what happens to them. Because where there's no vision, the people perish.

They fall apart. They start breaking down. They die. Simultaneously, where there's vision, where there's a flow of spiritual energy from progression, right, people thrive. They build.

They succeed. Even when things don't appear to be going well, the perfect right thing is happening. You know what I mean? You know, somebody sent me a message earlier today, and they said, this person says the Power Network new comp plan doesn't pay her like it used to. And I was like, okay, who said that?

And they said this person. So I was like, okay, I'm going to check them. So I go and look at this person, and they were making no money before our new compensation plan. So it's like, oh, they're judging from a good spot, aren't they? That's interesting.

Maybe I should publish that on Facebook along with their name, and they stop. You know what I mean? But the reality is guys, the reality is, is sometimes when you hear information and it's coming from a place that's built in pain, or it's coming from a place with an agenda, you're not hearing good information. You know what I mean? I'm going to tell you guys the information that you need to know in order to step into a great future.

That's what I'm going to tell you. I'm going to help you guys to make the decisions that are the right decisions for you and your family, for you and your financial future, because I think that you matter, and I think that your visions matter. So my grandpa, he retires. And he went about, he went mad retiring. So you know what he did?

Started a charity, right? And worked just like as hard as he did when he had a job, and gave back, and was at meetings, and networking, and having the ball of his life. And he lived a prosperous, giving life, giving value to the world, until he died at age 96. Why did he do that? Because he just couldn't stand to sit around and do nothing.

See, sometimes people, they want to get rich to do nothing, right? But that's not the path, and that's not what you should think about. If you don't have to do anything, it's good. But if you actually fall into the trap, and you actually don't do anything, that's not good. Because you know, I was reading the four-hour work week, and he was talking about that in there.

And he says, you know, I don't only do this so I can like not work. I do it so I can spend eight hours a day pursuing things I'm passionate about. You know, being able to pursue something where you engage your body and mind, right? And be able to just take the time to do that. To be able to go, you know, you've never surfed before, and then you're going to go learn surfing, and go surf for six hours a day for six months straight.

To be able to do something like that is powerful. Not that surfing is your thing. It's not really mine, right? I think people assume that I surf because I live in Costa Rica. I actually don't, but I think surf is cool.

Maybe I should take it up sometime. I have the time to do it. You know, the other day, or the other week, I flew down to my Kung Fu Masters. Like, why do you do that, Dave? Like, why do you do this when you don't really – I don't fight or anything.

I just think it's cool, you know? Because I can talk to people. I don't fight. That's easy. Nobody ever wants to fight me.

I'm a big guy, you know? But the thing is, is why do I do it? I do it because I want to. That's the power of it. It's something that I can do that engages my mind, my body, and my spirit, and I'm passionate about.

I don't think other people are passionate about it. Some of them are, but I'm passionate about it. You know what I mean? And I have the ability to pursue my passions. It doesn't mean I sit around and do nothing.

It means I learn to engage my body and mind in new things all the time, keeping my brain flexible, and keeping it adaptable, and learning new things that I can teach in different ways, learning new metaphors about time, space, and the universe, learning new metaphors about prosperity, learning new ways of helping new people, learning new things that I can give back to the marketplace, picking up a new book written by a new author on a new subject that I don't know yet. That's the power in reading. A lot of times people see that and they say, what should I read because their brain has been so conditioned by society, because they need their teacher to show them what to read. Now we'll have a recommended reading list to get people started on that in the near future. It's a good suggestion from the Leadership Council, specifically Erin Ashton.

And I think that's a good idea, but the fact is if you just read every day and find new stuff to study that's related to your trade, and related to surrounding areas, and areas that you can learn things, and you can come up with metaphors from, you're on your way. It doesn't matter what you read. It matters that you do it every day. You know, we tell people to listen to audio every day, and people, they do it a lot of the time, right? But not everybody does it because they don't understand why we're getting them to do it, but we're getting them to do it so in their downtime they're filling their mind with value.

They're filling their mind with value, not so they could just know the value, so they could teach the value, so they could give it back. We're filling their mind with things they can give to society, things they can give to the marketplace, things they can give in blog posts, things they can give in videos. We're filling their mind with things they can teach. And before you know it, they stand on a stage, and we have to pull them off the stage because they can't stop giving value. They have too much to give, and there's a lot of time.

That's the power in learning, the power in teaching, the power in doing. See, when you learn to do, teach, and you do, you learn, you teach simultaneously, you become a different human being very quickly, right? Our society teaches us first to learn, then to do, then to teach. And it makes you learn really slow. And I learned that actually first time, not in this industry, but when I was studying martial arts, right?

Best martial arts school when I was in a school environment, and I have private instruction. The best martial arts instruction I was around, that's what they did. They would teach you something, have you drill it until you actually was in your body, and then they would immediately have you teaching a student that hadn't learned that yet. Why would they do that? Because all of a sudden you would start, the student would be asking you questions, and you wouldn't know the answers to the questions, so you'd have to learn it a little bit more.

See, I found out there when you go out there and you blog about stuff, people ask questions in the comments. The best part of your learning is not the blogging, it's the questions. It makes you think about new things that you haven't considered yet, right? You give them some lines to close people, and then they ask a question and say, what about if somebody says this, and you say, I've never thought about that before, and the act of teaching, and the act of listening to the feedback, you learn more than anything. What's the best way to learn to sell?

Some people say going to a seminar. I say stand up and get on a whiteboard and draw the circles. That's what I say. And then go and watch another presentation, and then go through a product, and then sell again. Learn to teach simultaneously.

How do you learn to blog? You learn to blog by doing it, and by spending time reading blogs about how to do it. That's how you learn to do it, right? You don't want to sit around and sit in front of your computer watching videos endlessly before you take action, because if you do that nobody is going to take you seriously, and you're going to probably burn yourself out financially, because you didn't start taking action earlier. And then you're going to blame the thing, and say I was working so hard, when you look back and all you did was sit there watching videos.

I've seen people do that in thing, after thing, after thing. I've seen people do it in offline network marketing too. They listen to the course, and they listen to the training, and they're like I need the perfect line. And you're like, for who? You're not talking to anybody.

You know what I mean? I need the perfect email. For who? You need a list first. You're like, I need the perfect click.

It's like, what for? You don't even know what to send them to. You don't even know where to buy. You need to go buy some clicks. Don't worry about it.

Be willing to learn. Be willing to grow. Be willing to fail. The willingness to fail is the start of greatness, not the willingness to succeed, because everybody wants to succeed, but very few people are willing to go through that process that's the key to unlocking your future. See, I have an education that's invaluable, and here's why.

I've sat there looking at numbers, and looking at sales materials, and looking at affiliates through $184 million in sales through good times and bad. I've listened to more courses than about anybody I know, not than anybody I know, but I've listened to a lot of courses. I've read more books than most people. And through the combination of that all, and in the middle of selling and doing, you know what I've learned? I've learned stuff I couldn't have known without doing that.

I've learned stuff that will take us from $180 million to $200 million to $500 million to $1 billion. I've learned things about people that I didn't know. I've learned good things about people, and some things that need work on people as human beings. And I've learned to deal with those. I've learned to let go of a lot more than I used to be able to let go of.

That's a part of growing too. I'm one of these people, they say, that don't take it personally in business. And what do I do? I always take it personally. It's what I do.

It's like my natural inclination inside my heart. It drives me crazy in one sense, but in another sense, it's one of the reasons why people are here, because they know I give a shit. And when you give a shit, sometimes it hurts when people do stuff that hurts you. You know what I mean? Sometimes that hurts.

And sometimes people never hear those stories, and you never really talk about them. But the reality is, is that I've learned to let go a lot more than I used to be able to let go. It doesn't mean I don't feel. What it means is, it means I've learned to deal with it a little bit more. I've learned to deal with the emotions.

I've learned to deal with it when leaders come and go. I've learned to deal with it when sales go up and go down. I've learned to deal with it when we have problems. I've learned to deal with it when I've got everybody around me pulling me in different directions, but I'm the only one that knows the right thing to do at that time. I've learned to just do it.

I've learned the secret, the secret to building this. It's not in a strategy that the secret to building this is inside your heart. The secret to building this is inside your vision. The secret to building this is inside the hearts of the people. It's inside the visions of the people.

Because when the people have a vision, they prosper. When the people are humble, they prosper. When the people are working, they prosper. And you've got to learn who to listen to. And you've got to learn how to block out.

You've got to learn that when somebody gets angry about something, and they're doing something else, I've learned that for some reason, not everybody does it, but almost everybody will immediately start talking bad about the thing that they were just in, even though before they were talking good about it. And I used to wonder and say, why do people do this? I don't understand. But then I learned why. I learned it's because they're hurt, and they're in pain.

They're hurt, and they're in pain, and they're coming from a bad place inside their heart, and the poison that's inside their heart is coming out of their mouth. It has nothing to do with the thing. And when you realize that, it's easier to forgive people. When you realize they are doing the best they can with the resources they have available, no matter what they say, no matter what they do. And I've learned that there are other people out there that no matter what they go through, they're loyal.

No matter what they go through, they'll stand by your side. No matter what they go through, even when they're frustrated with you, they'll stick by you because they love you. See, those are the people that I want to work with a long time, and along the way, we'll get everyone. But those are the people that are the core of a vision. Those are the people that are the heart of a company.

Those are the people that are the salt of the earth. Those are the people that build visions and dreams. Those are the people that help a company rise from being more than a company, and the company changes from a company, and the company changes into a movement. Those are the people that are the future of an hour network, or the people that are the heart and the salt of the earth. I want you guys to understand something here, that you're on a special call at a special time, in a special moment inside this company.

And if you're on the page, and you don't have your tickets to Generation Hero, you just need to click the button and buy your tickets to Generation Hero. Get to the event. Why? You're going to find out tomorrow in the Fast Start series, but I'm just going to give you a little clue. The reason why is, you guys, you can't build a successful business without attending all of the events.

And if you're not here to succeed at this, then why are you here? These are the core commitments. They're not the optional things. There's optional things here too, but the core things, they're not optional. That's why they're called the core commitments.

If you want to be a core person in our network, you've got to attend the events. In fact, in my team, I don't care if somebody comes in, and they buy all the products. I won't work with them at all if they don't attend the events. It's not because I don't love them, guys. I want you to understand this.

It's because I love them enough to be strong about the things that they have to do to succeed. It's because I care about them enough to not bend on the things that are important to their future. And I know what will happen to them if they don't go to the events. It's what happens to everybody. They'll fall by the wayside.

And I know that if they don't promote the events, they'll never have a stable organization. I've had a lot of people in Empower Network who have made some money and then been gone. And why were they gone? It wasn't because they didn't make money. It wasn't because they didn't have resources.

It's because they had a bad attitude about the events. They had a bad attitude about the calls. They had a bad attitude about the culture, and they didn't promote the culture. And because of that, they tried to hold together with their personality what could only be held together by a culture. And the culture needs to be there to hold that together, and you can't do it on your own, and neither can I.

It's the culture that does these things to people. It's not you or me. I can't, as the founder of Empower Network, do with your team what an event can do by myself. I can be at the events, and I can support the structure of that event. But if they don't attend the event, if they don't watch the live stream, you can't do with them what that live stream can do with them.

You can't take them from point A to point B like that emotionally. And here's the trick, is I can't either. I can't either. And I know that good enough to know to not spend my time with anybody that doesn't attend events. I just won't do it.

I'm getting a dry throat here. Does that make sense to everybody on here? Somebody's not committed to learning, I won't work with them. Why? Because that's one step away from arrogance.

When somebody starts doing things, and they're like, I'm not going to learn anymore. I'm not going to pay attention to the products. I'm not going to get on the conference calls. I'm not going to plug into the culture. What are they saying?

They're saying they have a bad attitude. They're saying that they think they know it all, that they think they can do it without that stuff, but they can't. And I've learned that guys. I've seen the tides come and go. I've seen the big leaders who come in, and they slam a bunch of people in, and it's great, but then they disappear, and so do their people.

The second they're gone, why? Because the people don't plug into the culture, because their leader tells them not to. They say it's not important. But that's the thing that glues the thing together. You take the oil out of an engine of a car, and what happens to the engine?

It burns out. People need inspiration. They need motivation. They need vision. They need culture and heart.

And if you try to do that on your own, you're going to find you're going to have a little business with a lot of front-line people that revolves around you, your personality, and you. But if you learn to plug people into the culture, if you learn to plug people into the events, if you learn to plug people into the calls and the webinars, if you learn to get out of the way, then you start to develop a business that's not dependent on you. It's dependent on the culture, the vision, the heart. And that's what matters guys. That is what matters.

That is the core of who we are, the heart, the heart. And from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, and the blog posts are written. They generate the traffic, because that's who we are. And why isn't Power Network really here? What's the real purpose of this?

It's not just to sell a product. Because selling a product will make you a commission, but changing a heart will make you a fortune. Sponsoring someone will earn you a few dollars, and maybe if they buy everything, you'll earn a few dollars more. Maybe if they buy some more upsells, they'll earn a little bit more. But sponsoring someone who you plug into the culture, and from the nature of the culture, their heart transforms, and they turn into a leader, someone who is capable of delivering value to the marketplace.

And by you being there, you aided them directly or indirectly in transforming what's on the inside. What's on the inside begins to change, and from the abundance of what's on the inside, the world around them begins to change, and they start to transform the world. And you create a leader, and you create a transformation in the marketplace, and through that you become free. So this is really about transformation. It's why it's called the Empowered Network.

It's there to empower people to build a business and have a life at the same time, but to do that, they have to transform first, right? Transformation comes first. It always does. When does the moment come when people walk into a transformation? It's when they get burned into the ashes, and they rise like the phoenix.

It's when they get so broke that they have to listen, and so they do. It's when things go so bad that they have to step in, and they have to put their heart and their soul into it. And by putting their heart and their soul into it, they realize that's been the secret all along, that it hasn't been something outside themselves. It's been something inside their heart. It's by pouring their spirit inside the something, and all of their energy, and every piece of mental power that can be exerted in order to make it work.

And by doing that, they create their own strategy, and what's in the trainings that they find, and the tactical trainings that are out there don't really matter so much anymore, because those tactical trainings are created by people who are pouring their heart and soul into creating the strategy because they want the vision, right? That's what creates an entrepreneur. It's the obsession over the vision, right? Not an obsession in a negative light. Obsession is negative if it's on something like drugs, or some sort of addiction, or something like that.

Obsession is not negative when it drives you in an empowering direction, when it creates transformation in the world. It's obsessing about becoming the best you that you could be. It's about obsessing about the walk towards becoming better, knowing you're never going to be perfect. Because if you think that you're going to be perfect, then what do you immediately do once you think you are? You stop learning, and what then do you do?

You start becoming prideful, and you start to fall again. So what's Generation Hero all about, and why should you attend the event? It's about helping you rise into the new you. It's about stepping into the new transformation inside your heart. It's about in Power Network, stepping into the new transformation, stepping into the next 100 million, stepping into the next 200 million, the next half billion, the next billion dollars in sales.

It's about what we're going to do to get there. It's about re-aiming your energy, and re-aiming the energy of your heart in the right direction. It's about giving you the direction that you seek inside. Because I'm going to tell you something, guys. The best direction is always going to come from inside your heart, but sometimes you need that aimed in the right direction in order to create that result inside your heart.

Sometimes you need people to help guide you. Sometimes you need mentors. Sometimes you need to list it first. Why do you have two ears, two eyes, two nostrils, and one mouth, and a body full of skin? Because there's more mechanisms for input than there is for output inside your body and mind.

Why? Because we're learning machines. That's why. The best leaders are the best listeners first. I've learned this the easy way and the hard way.

The easy way is when I was told it. The hard way was when I had to shove my own ego up my own ass and do it. You know what I mean? The best leaders are the best listeners. The best leaders are the best readers, the most consistent learners.

The best leaders are the people that give the most value, and the reason they give the most value is because they learn the most. Stop treating like this like it's a gambling, like you're gambling on the Internet by joining the right thing, or you're joining the right person. Just stop it. Stop looking for, stop wondering what these people are saying that are in other things. You know what I mean?

I see people doing this stuff, and you know what? I'm not talking about Empower even. I'm talking about everything. You've got to learn who to listen to and who not to listen to. There are people that have your best interest in mind, and there's people that will split your throat for a dollar in the marketplace, and I'm not kidding.

They might not actually split your throat. I'm talking figuratively. The people here actually have your right interest in their heart. They do, and they'll be here for you when times are good and when times are bad, because they're loyal people. You know what I found through $184 million in sales?

I find that real loyalty, real loyalty is rare, and it's not rare because it has to be rare. It's rare because it is for some reason, that people too often are with you when things are good, but not with you when things aren't. And that's what really, really tells you what's inside of a person's heart. It's when they bail, right? When do they do it?

At what point, right? I've got some people around me, you know what? They've been through me through things. The people who, they quit and they complain about something sometimes, right? You cannot even compare the level of pain between the two.

You can't compare it, right? You say, why does Lawrence have the business he does? Because he's willing to go through whatever it takes in order to have it, and he's loyal. He's got a good heart and people see through the masks, the facades that you put up there in the marketplace. They see right through it.

When you get out there and you get in front of a camera and they see an actor, their mind is so... what they hear. You don't want to be an actor. You want to be the best you. You don't want to be Dave Wood.

You want to be the best you. You don't want to be Aaron Raskin. You want to be the best you. That's the thing. That's what the leaders empower you to do.

They empower you to step into your transformation. They empower you to create your own prosperity nation. They empower you to go out there and create a generation of transformation, a generation of heroes. That's why our event is called Generation Heroes. It's about lifting up the new generation of entrepreneurs, and it's about helping the entrepreneurs thrive.

So here's the thing. I could give you a pitch on this, or I could just tell you the truth. And I actually prefer to just tell you the truth, and that's why I ain't going to work with you if you don't attend that event. Don't expect to be helped in the same way that people who attend the event and watch it. It's a live stream, guys.

You can watch this from the comfort of your own home. You say, I'm working. Take the weekend off work. Say, my boss will fire me. Get a new job.

Don't worry about it. The second you stop having fear and start making decisions, you're on your way into stepping into a new and a beautiful and more powerful future. And guys, I'm just telling you something. The biggest checks have not been created. They just haven't.

When you look at Empower Network, and you look at our history, we've done some cool things. And that's the cool thing about doing the things that we've done is our credibility. We've proven we know how to make people money. We just know how to do it. We know how to get people results.

We know how to make people money. We know how to create more traffic than they can be on the Internet. I have more data than any info marketing guru online. My team has more data, and we have a better team. I look at all this stuff, and I listen to all the people, and all the things they think are true, and it's really actually hilarious, honestly.

And it's not hilarious because it's actually funny. What's hilarious is the irony of ignorance and arrogance and how they fit together. You know what I mean? Because when people actually have good information, they're rarely arrogant. People are arrogant when they think too much of themselves, when they think they're better than they are.

I know that's when I've gotten arrogant. And I've never really had the problem with out front arrogance, because I've never thought I was better than other people. But I have gotten prideful. And that's the thing is when I've gotten prideful, I look at that and why have I done it? I've done it because I went through a momentary time when I stopped doing the things that I say to do.

When I stopped reading, when I stopped listening, when I stopped learning, what does it do? It makes it so I have nothing to teach. Because it's not about the training and what's the right training. It's about the fact that you can create a new one at any time. It's not what's the best book.

It's the fact that you're reading all the time. It's not like who's the right mentor to listen to. It's the fact that you've got lots of them. What does Proverbs say? A wise man has many counselors.

And where do you find the mentors? Where do you find the counselors? You find them in the books. You find them in the audios. You find them on the Hangouts.

You find them on the conference calls. Always be learning. And you'll find that as you learn, as your heart expands to receive new information, that everything around you will begin to transform, not because it's actually transforming, but because you're actually transforming. And that's the power. Because when you actually are transforming, when you're actually turning into a better you, it seems like the marketplace just suddenly changes, but it doesn't.

It's always been like that. Maybe it fluctuates one direction or another, or with one strategy or another, but the fact is, it's always been the marketplace. But all of a sudden, you changed you. And by changing you all of a sudden, you're perceived in the marketplace differently. And you're like, where were these people that I'm closing so easily five years ago?

They were there the whole time. They were waiting for you the whole time. They were waiting for you to be humble. They were waiting for you to listen. They were waiting for you to actually go through the products.

They were waiting for you to actually start blogging. They were waiting for you to get off your ass and to post some advertising out there. They're waiting for you. The marketplace is waiting for you. It's not waiting for Dave Wood, because I'm out there already.

It's waiting for me to be greater though. It's not waiting for Lauren Pam, he's out there already, but it is waiting for him to be greater. It's waiting for you. It's waiting for your transformation, your story, your victory, your content, your value. That's what the marketplace is waiting for.

They're waiting, and if they don't find it in you, they're just going to buy with somebody else. And the people that you're destined to sponsor will join with somebody else. Not because they weren't supposed to join with you, but because they were waiting for you, and you didn't show up. There's that old saying that says, when the student is ready, the teacher appears. The fact is, the teacher is always there, but the student isn't listening.

And I see that too often. Somebody learns one little strategy, and they think that they know it all, and then they go off, and they do something on their own, and they end up doing lots of stupid things. I have a friend who started a company, and he was so excited about it. And I got on the phone, and I told him, I said, hey, I'm not negative about your vision, but you need to change these five things, or this is what's going to happen. And he perceived that what I said was negative and an attack on him.

It wasn't. It was actually there because I knew that the merchant accounts would shut him down, and if they didn't, the government would shut him down. Because he was breaking laws, right? So what happened? The merchant accounts shut him down.

It wasn't three weeks before they shut him down. But he was like, dude, the merchants were on board. They got everything. And I was like, you talked to the merchant sales rep, didn't you? And he goes, yeah, who else are you talking about?

I was like, dude, there's underwriters of those, man. I was like, the people that actually want to drive away, the business to protect the bank from businesses like yours that are breaking laws. And he paused. But guess what he didn't do? He didn't listen.

Why? Because he was succeeding. But that's the point where you need to listen the most, because it's not just about growing and building. It's about keeping it together. You know, can you keep it together when something goes bad?

Can you keep your team together when something's not going the way that you want? Can you keep it together then? Right? Because, you know, I heard something a long time ago. He's somewhere on career.

He's an Amway cat. And he said, building is the easy thing. Keeping it together is the art. And, you know, I never knew what he was talking about, but it always stayed in my mind. But I knew what he was talking about the first time I had a team of 10,000 people.

And then I ran into a big struggle. And then all of a sudden, all of a sudden, I had to look at things differently. And all of a sudden, I had to look back at that knowledge and say, he's right. This is where the art comes in. This is where the culture comes in.

This is where the vision comes in at this moment. It's not when it's growing. It's not when everything's going right. It's the moment when things go sour. How do you keep it together?

And what do you do? And where is your heart? And how do you serve in those moments? How is the culture? Growing a business without a culture can grow really fast.

It also collapses just as fast. And I've seen that with deal after deal after deal that actually tried to model what we do. But see, they're creating a model, right? They've got no creativity. They've got no ingenuity.

And there's nothing wrong if you don't have ingenuity. But you just have to understand which parts of the world you fit into and which parts you don't, depending on who you are. We all work together to create something greater than we can create on our own. This isn't about arrogance. I'm great at vision.

I'm great at selling. I'm great at eloquating. I'm great at teaching. I'm not great at many other things. And so if I'm the sole person responsible for this business, the business will fall apart.

Why? Because I don't have the requisite skills to hold all the intricate infrastructure together without the right people in place. I need those people there. See, we all need each other. This isn't about you, right?

We have to realize we need those people. We need the accountants to be good. We need the lawyers to be good. We need compliance to be good. We need the marketing team to learn how to split test everything and to run tests.

By the way, we've increased front-end conversions just in the last couple of weeks in different places by 100 percent, other places by 40 percent, other places 200 percent just by split testing. How? Thanks to a great marketing team. You guys are going to see here coming up this week that we're going to have a new blog team that's just built to get sales coming out. But I've been working with the team on designing here to bring into effect the core of what we do and who we are.

And that thing will be split tested across millions of pages of views across the site and there will be nothing like it that could convert like it does on the internet because we just have more data. You'll be able to just blog on it and get leads and sales without having to know how it works. That's valuable. How's that come together? That comes together from somebody with the idea like me and who sees the patterns like I do because I've got this great gift for pattern recognition.

But then you need people to be able to design. You need people to be able to implement. You need people to be able to code. You need people to be able to split test and to put the requisite code on different parts of the site to run the requisite tests in order to understand what things actually work better and what things don't. Sometimes I put something up and it doesn't work as well as something that was there in the past.

And you've got to have no ego about that. The other week I spent three days all day and night making a sales video. And I put it up and split tested against the video we had there. The video we had there that was made by the marketing team converted better by about 30% on normal traffic and on mobile traffic converted eight times better. So what did I do?

I had no ego. I took my video down. Why? I could say, well, I know how to sell things and I do this and that. But the reality is that data reveals where you're doing things right and where you're not doing things right.

And the data is a better opinion than what anybody thinks. So what's the purpose of a button? To get people to click on it. What's the purpose of an opt-in form? It's to get people to opt into it.

And how do you test that? Well, you try different things. And sometimes you think something's going to work great and it's going to be a home run and it lowers convergence and cuts them in half. And then what do you do? You remove it because you've got data.

Data should drive decision-making, not personality. And that's the core of how you build a business into a better one. So what Empower Network's going to be is it's going to turn into a commission-generated machine. And you guys are going to see this as you realize something here. This is the value.

I was talking to our COO about this earlier today. I was like, what's our job really? Our job here at Empower Network is simple. It's to make sure that when somebody brings a customer here, they earn more money than they could possibly, possibly earn anywhere else in the world, anything else in the world, and that it's easier to get those customers. That's what our job is.

And if we can do that, we're going to become great, and that's all we need to do. And there's so many areas we can help you guys make money that we're going to be implementing over this next year. My goal is to help you guys actually have commissions coming in, and you don't even know where they're coming from. You don't even need to understand where they're coming from. You just need to understand our core process and how it works.

And we'll have an army of team members that are hired, the best talent in the world, they're going and doing things in the background that are just generating you commissions, and you don't even have to know the source, right? How would that be for a change? To actually be a part of something where you don't need to understand the entire business model. You just need to benefit from the entire business model by being a part of it. See, that's the purpose in teams.

It's that we can do things that are greater as a team than we can do on our own. And I see too many people venturing out on their own because they're frustrated with something. But what are they really doing? They're really displaying, in a deeper sense of the word, a level of arrogance that's not healthy for them and their future, right? And that's just the truth, guys.

That's just the truth. You know what I mean? And I've seen that again and again. And it's not to say that other things are bad. And it's not to say that everyone's bad or anything like that.

I know that everything and everybody has their own place in the world and is going to do their own things. And one thing that I've learned over the years is that you don't own people. They can do what they want to do, and they're going to do whatever they wanted to do in the first place. But I also know sometimes when somebody does something that's just not right for them, right, and then they end up blaming the thing that they were just in, or they end up blaming the leader they were just learning from, and they end up bad-mouthing the thing that was just paying them. And it's not good, and it's not good for them and their future, you know?

I was in a thing, and I've resisted talking about it for years, that really, really actually harmed me. And I just stopped promoting, and I stopped talking about it. I removed my link, and then I just kind of let it fade off into the background, right? You don't need to go bad-mouthing the thing that you were just in to promote your next thing, even if you come from something that we don't like, right? We don't want you coming into this environment and bad-mouthing your other thing to get sales.

It's not good for you, and it's not good for us, and it's not good for the marketplace. It makes us all look like snakes, right? But we're not snakes, and that's the thing to understand, is that we all have value. We all have a place. I like the positive strategy.

I go out in the marketplace, and I used to write positive reviews on people, products, and things. I would never write a review on somebody and go out there and say, you know, this person's a scam. Here's all the reasons. Why? Because then I attract all the complainers, right, in the marketplace.

I'd rather have them be attracted to something that they actually, like, want to be attracted to, which is another dork bag. That's what I prefer, right? So what I actually used to do is I used to say, is this company a scam? Nope, here's why. And then I'd write off the good things about it, even though I wasn't in it.

And, you know, I caused some people to come and find my article, then they'd go join that company. You know what I mean? I remember I wrote a review on USANA, which is a vitamin company, and I wrote all the positive things about it. And you know what happened? That review was so good and so positive, it got shared out the wazoo all over social media by USANA leaders, right?

People came in and argued with me in the comments, and all the USANA leaders came in and defended it, and I defended them, and guess what happened? It ranked number one in the search engines, and I used to get 10 to 15 leads a day just from that one company, and the USANA people loved it because I was ranting and raving about how awesome they are. Because why? I don't need to go there and bust their balls, you know what I mean, and say they're selling a product and I'm selling something on the Internet, so I can't talk good about them. I can go out there and be positive in the marketplace.

I can go out there and I can help people, and why else is that good? It's because who's attracted to my blog post? It's the leaders in that company. It's the people that actually are there because they want to be there. Who are the best customers for me to have?

It's those people. It's not the complainers. If I go out there and I attract complainers to my business, what am I doing? I'm target marketing people that refund complaints, that charge back, that are assholes, and that are assholes in the marketplace. That's the truth of it.

And guys, I'm just talking real to you, you know what I mean? If you want to attract some people, go attract the good people in the marketplace. Go out there and give some value to the marketplace. Be good to people, right? And you know what?

Things are how they are when it comes down to it, and sometimes you do need to be open and transparent about something or other, you know? And sometimes people are out there and they're joining actual Ponzi schemes and things like that, and sometimes you do need to protect people from those things. But don't mistake that for a bad attitude, right? And I see a lot of people who've had a lot of bad attitudes over the years, and all that's required is to go inside your heart and to ask, why am I really doing this? And who do I really want in my business?

And by realizing who you want in your business, you'll automatically start doing these negative, destructive things. You know, like if you realize, for example, that by complaining, you're going to sponsor other people who complain, because everybody who doesn't complain is going to be completely reviled by your presence. If you realize that, that you realize that you're just being a pussy, and you don't want to attract pussies into your business, then you know what you can do is you can actually, actually just change your language and change the way you talk and change the way that you talk about other people in public, right? And by doing that and by transferring good energy, you actually become attractive to the good people, the customers that buy a lot, the high-paying customers in the marketplace, people that don't like being around garbage, people that don't really be around negativity, people that don't like being around, right? Trash-talking and stuff like that.

Go out there and attract the good. Go out there and attract, right? You want to know how to attract an author to your blog, right? Write a raving review about it and share it on social media and tell people why they should buy their book. You want to know how to attract good marketers to your blog, go out there and tell people why they're a good leader and why they do great things, write a rave about them, right?

That's how you attract the good people in the marketplace. You attract the good people in the marketplace by talking positive about the things that they're doing and the things that they're in. And too many people, they don't realize that and so they go out there and they give value to the wrong group of people, guys. That's not target marketing, right? Target marketing is targeting the best customers possible.

And who are they? They're the people that get in, they stay in, they spend lots of money, they become leaders and they break through. Those are not complainers. I'll tell you one thing, a complainer will never be a great leader until they stop. And sometimes they stop and sometimes they turn into a great leader later on.

But a complainer will be a complainer and they'll be a broke complainer after long and they'll be someone that a lot of people dislike after a time. Why? Because that's what they're attracting because they're doing target marketing and they're looking towards negativity. You know what I mean? That's not the best place to target.

So where does this all fit in and where are we going in the future? Guys, we need to go back to realizing who we are and what we do. We're doing some things great. Front end conversions are flying. You notice if you've been sending traffic.

We've got some upsells that have been increasing across the site. But nothing like what's going to happen tomorrow because I'm going back to the root of who we are and how we've done what we've done and you're going to see that it's a mass simplification, not an addition, right? And there's a difference between the two. Sometimes you add something and it turns into this cluster of things. But sometimes you can reduce away the cluster and you can say, hey look, this is what you need to do.

And by simplifying it, you magnify it, right? Reduce and specialize. Reduce and specialize. It's one of our core values, right? Realizing that we are good at certain things and this is what we do and when we reduce and we specialize and we become even better at that thing, that's what makes people more money, right?

So my goal this year is to do something that I started doing on the internet in 2009 that I got good at doing by 2011 and that's to help you make more money than you could know what to do with in more ways than you know what they are, right? I actually don't need you to understand the whole process or all the psychology behind it. I just need you to participate in it as a community in order to make it work, right? We'll handle the process. We'll handle that and we'll teach you how to do it if you want to do it too.

But the reality is that you don't need to know how to do it. You just need to participate. He went off and he did something else later and that's fine. I'm not going to criticize him for it. He can do what he wants to do.

You know what I mean? But the reality is that he didn't understand what made him all that money. I had another guy I helped make a lot of money. I'm not going to mention who he was and the truth is he always wanted to rip out the core of our business model and change it all, right? And he didn't understand that core of the model is actually what created all of the results and that he didn't come up with any of it but he was participating in a certain area where he was giving tons of value and that area is what he was good at.

A prophet has to realize that he needs an apostle, right? Otherwise, the vision has no organization, no structure, no progression, right? You have to realize that the visionary needs the accountant, he needs the lawyer, right? He needs the operations officer. Sometimes people criticize an operations officer because they're doing things that save the company money and the people out in the field they don't realize that without somebody doing those things there is no company.

That without people out there watching the dollars that we spend and where we spend them and being concerned about it and giving legitimate value by being concerned about structure, right? And some people get waked out by that and they say, oh, I don't like the things this person is doing but they don't realize that without that person there is no company because the vision, the heart needs an engine built around it to survive. So sometimes we don't know what we don't know and that's not to criticize any of you and it's not to criticize any of your philosophies because I love you all. It's to realize we're all here to learn together, to grow together and that every part of the body is important. That, well, the prophet needs the apostle, the apostle needs the pastor, the pastor needs the teacher, the teacher needs the student.

We all fill a role, right? And when you realize that one of us is not better than the other but that we fill different roles we won't spend so much time bashing each other and instead we won't just get along, we'll synergize. And what's synergy? Synergy is when you put two metal poles together it doesn't just multiply the power by two. It's exponential, right?

Some weird thing in construction and I actually don't understand the math behind it so I'm not going to sound arrogant there. Just look it up, synergy. That's what synergy is. It's the compounding of force when you put things together. That's what happens when you get people participating Right?

Why did God destroy the power of Babel? He destroyed it because he said, look how unified these people are. Right? Look what they can do. Because if the people are up to malicious things and they're completely unified they can do things that sour the whole world.

Look at World War II. Look at Hitler. Look at some of the communist countries and the people that they've harmed. You know what I mean? When people unify for good or bad, they can accomplish great things.

So why not unify and accomplish something great? Why not through our unity empower other people? Why not through our unity go out there and change the marketplace? The other week we had a leader. We made a new comp plan headed into the new year, headed back to our roots to help people make more money, and to help them do it in a more sustainable way that's a lot bigger and a lot better.

And very few people understood how it works. And I got online with one of our core leaders, Pat Patterson, and he was all frustrated about it until I explained how it works. And I've got this video actually we've sent out to people who have Generation Hero tickets. And then when I explained how it works, he was so excited by the end of it that he almost couldn't contain himself, and all of his frustration was actually a result of a complete misunderstanding. It's really funny because there's this gal who's been a friend of mine back in our comp plan in private conversations, and I get bored with this stuff.

And she was making absolutely no money before that comp plan existed. So where's her information really coming from, and how much does she know really about comp plans and how they should work? See, what she was doing and her attitude about how she was building, and the way she was building her business was the problem. What was the problem? What was inside her heart, not inside the comp plan.

From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, and if somebody speaks out and all they're filled with is foul garbage about somebody else, or something else all the time, what does that say about what's inside their heart? It says it's filled with foul garbage, and you need a garbage truck to come and to take that out of there, and to get rid of it, or you're going to sour the people around you. It has nothing to do with the thing that they're around. It has nothing to do with the people they're around. It has to do with what's inside their heart.

And I realize sometimes some things and some people are harder to forgive than others, but you've still got to go out there and do it, right? And press and push yourself. Push yourself to let go of these emotions. I've done that for the last couple of years, and I'm telling you something that's changed my life. If there's one thing that's changed my life more than any other thing I've ever learned how to do, it's to forgive other people.

And you know what? I'm still working on it, and I've still got to constantly, constantly, constantly watch myself, because one thing that I notice about people that are creative, people that are visionary, is the problem that they have is a pattern towards resentment, right? And how did I notice that? I noticed it about myself, right? We tend to be emotional human beings.

Why do people who have businesses and entrepreneurs always say, don't take it personally, it's business? It's because they all take it personally after they learn their way out of it. It's not something they learn from somebody else. It's something they learn by going through it, because when you're passionate about your vision, your company isn't just a company. It's rooted inside your heart, and when somebody goes and attacks it, it feels like they're attacking you.

And you've got to learn your way out of that. It's not something that you're going to do overnight. It is an emotional thing, and you've got to be really careful to get around people that actually have no emotion about what they do, because that usually means they're a sociopath, right? And that's not a good thing to trust your future to, because they'll do anything and everything to hurt you. And I've been in a lot of organizations that were led by people like that, but I've also been on the flip side around a lot of people and a lot of organizations that were really there, really there.

Their sole purpose in being there was to give other people value first, not with their words, but with their actions. Not by what they say, but what they do. Not by a vision that they have and an idea that they have to make themselves great, but by a vision and idea they have to make other people great. And there's more of them in the marketplace, so let's not criticize the whole thing for someone, right? There's more of the good in the marketplace.

There's more good people than bad. You know, sometimes we get in this pattern of seeing what's on the news, and by seeing what's in the news, we think the whole world's filled with that. But they didn't report the love story that happened that day, the people that just fell in love. They didn't report the marriage that stayed together for 70 years that day. They didn't report the new baby that was born that day and how healthy it was.

All they do is report the damage, the new disease, the destruction, the new war, right? Well, if our mind is filled with war and destruction, what are we going to seek for? Our unconscious seeking mechanisms are going to fill our lives with the same destruction because that's what we're seeking and that's what we know. But if we learn to reprogram our mind, the solution to pollution is dilution. We can dilute the garbage inside our mind by giving our mind the things that it needs to thrive and grow, and that's really what the inner circle is all about.

That's what the calls are all about. That's why you need to be on the calls. That's what the books are all about. That's what reading is all about and the mentors are all about. It's not about thinking you're being around people that are like gods or better than you.

It's about realizing that by being around people that stretch, you can stretch. By being around people that grow, you can grow. By being around people who are progressing, you can progress, right? And realizing that you're not the only one who goes through these things you go through. You're not the only one that has these doubts that you have.

But it's not about the doubts. It's about the decision. It's about the decision. You know what I mean? You know the fascinating thing is that I always see people, the one moment they preach against quitting and then the next reason they're justifying why they just did it on their Facebook wall.

And I find that fascinating because people always justify what they do and it's nothing more than justification, whether it's good or bad. You're just justifying your decisions that you already made and looking for outside references to support it. Yeah, I had somebody, he posted something on his Facebook wall and it was some sort of doctor's quote about how being involved in something that you, you know, like when you quit, it releases these endorphins and sometimes it's time to let go. And it's like, and sometimes, it's that point after you go through that stretch, it's that point after you're going through that pain, it's that point after you get stabbed in the back by that person, it's the point after you continue forward, that it releases a different kind of endorphin from the success that you create, from the victory that you have by not being a fucking pussy ass quitter. That's what happens sometimes too.

I'm just sorry, it is what it is, folks. You know what I mean? And one of the things that I've committed to do this year, I saw this originally from Aaron Raskin, I like his post, I actually really like it, is I just decided, you know, I'm just going to say what's inside my heart. And I'll make sure that what's inside my heart is constantly getting better all the time. Sometimes if I have some negative energy come through, well then I need to work on that.

You know what I mean? But I'm not going to kind of, you know, puff something up anymore. You know what I mean? I've been on calls where I've disagreed with the whole foundation of the call, happened to me back in 2014, where I thought that what was happening was the biggest bullshit I've ever experienced in my life, the weeniest thing that I'd ever experienced in my life, the quitterest quitteriest thing that I'd ever been around in my life. Somebody making an excuse to quit for something that was total bullshit, to rape all the people he was there to support.

And you know what? I was there on that fucking call and didn't say anything, not anymore. I'm going to tell people the truth about how I feel about shit, whether they like it or not. You know what I mean? Because I'm here to give you a transparent, profitable, truthful business.

We're here to build a future together, right? And if you don't want that, that's fine. Lots of things you could join. You know what I mean? Lots of things out there.

But here we're going to build something great together, right? That's what we're going to do. And I'm going to set out to accomplish the original purpose of this company, which is not to create the biggest company in network marketing, but to create the richest team. Because the two are different. The two are different.

You know what? I'm going to be honest with you guys. We used to pay 100% commissions for a long time, and then there was a point at which I had to lower that. And it still has to be lowered, right? We've moved it to 70% because 100% was not sustainable.

I'm going to be honest with you guys. If there was ever a way for me to increase that, I'd increase it. Truthfully, that second, if I could do it, I'd increase the commission, right? Not too many company owners around that would do that, and that's coming from a place of honesty, right? And you know what?

That year, I'm going to tell you guys something. I'm going to tell you guys something about my story here, and you guys will know who you're talking to after you hear this, right? I've made a lot of money in Empower Networks, you know, and I've had times when I haven't, when I put all my finances on the line in order to make something better, right? When I've done something that's not in my best interest, but it's in other people's best interest because I'm here for the long term for the vision, right? 2014, something happened.

I didn't make money for about a year and a half. I put my own money into the company to fix it until mid-2015. And I didn't make money because it's not like I could, and I could have taken a lot of money out of the company. I didn't make money because I was here for the long term and I wanted to deliver on the promise that I had given to people, right? And so I fixed what was there, right?

I just took my money and I put it back into the company. Why did I do that? I did that because I'm here for the long term and I don't fucking quit no matter what happens. So when somebody says I stubbed my toe and I quit, I say I was walking through molten lava, burned my feet off, and they grew back when I got to the other side, right? So you know what?

When somebody comes up with some bullshit, my health's bad, I quit, fuck you. You know what I mean? And so I'm here because I believe in what we're doing. I actually do believe in it, right? And I'm not going to be here to give you guys crap, right?

But what I will be here is I'll be here to support you in your vision, to support you in your future, to support you in building a bigger, better, more powerful dream, right? And that's what I'm here to do. That's what I'm here to do. And I'm going to tell you something, guys. Empower Network will go down as one of the greatest companies in the world ever.

But it's not going to be because we have a goal of being a great company. You know, it's like Dapos. They make the company great by making the customer experience great, right? Guys, Empower Network is going to go down as a great company because of how we serve people, because of the products that we deliver to people, right? Because of what we do for people in the marketplace.

That is why it's going to be great. You know what I mean? That is why it's going to be great. It's going to be great because of the great leaders we have. It's going to be great because of the great visionaries we have.

It's going to be great because of the market we serve, right? Because you're on this call and you're here for one reason. You're like, what does this have to do with me? You're on this page and you're like, why should I attend Generation Hero? Hopefully you know, right?

If you're on the call and you're not in Empower Network, you can go ahead and join. If you are in Empower Network and you've not got your tickets to Generation Hero, go ahead and buy your tickets to Generation Hero, right? Go ahead and buy your tickets to Generation Hero, because what Generation Hero is really all about, it's about a resetting. It's about a resetting and aiming in the right direction. It's about taking all this energy that we have out there in the marketplaces and saying, this is what we're going to do with that energy, right?

This is what we're going to do with that energy. It's about having a vision that breaks through obstacles. It's about helping you to be a real entrepreneur, helping you to learn what to do and how to do it, helping you learn what a real entrepreneur is really all about, which is not tactics, right? A real entrepreneur is about heart. It's about vision.

A real entrepreneur is like the Braveheart movie. You know what I mean? It's like your heart is so big that it breaks through everything, right? That's why it's called Braveheart, because it's about the heart that matters, right? Empower Network is about the heart of the people.

That's what it's about. That's what it's always been about. It has not been a selfish business, not ever. There have been times when people have accused it of selfishness, who aren't in it, or who were in it and then weren't. But there's never been a time at which where the core of this business actually, actually was selfish.

If you really want to talk to somebody about it, go talk to Jonathan Cronsted, who was our CEO for a long time, right? And ask him about my heart for the people, right? And here's what he'll tell you. He'll tell you that I put my money exactly where my words were 100% of the time. And he actually couldn't believe that I was doing it some of the time, but why did I do it?

Because it's not for the short-term gain. It's for the people. Because I don't think – see, I think that having things – I wrote this on my Facebook wall a while ago. Having things is nice, but people are not things, right? And always remember, guys, and I want you to always remember this if you're on this call, that you are not a thing, or neither are your people.

When people come into your business, they are not a number. Yeah, you have to watch numbers to get conversions, but what conversions represent are human beings that are doing things. And human beings matter. They're not there to be expended with, right? And too many people treat human beings as expendable.

They're there to serve a purpose, and then when they're no longer serving the purpose, they've expired, and then they get thrown away like a used heroin needle into the trash, right? People are not a drug. People are not a thing. People are not there to be taken – to take advantage of, right? People are there, and they matter.

Conversions matter because it's the people that it represents, right? Who are we helping when we get an increased conversion? Number one, we're helping the rep who made the sale. Number two, we're helping the customer to make a good decision. So it therefore makes sense to have as good conversions as we possibly can, right?

Who are we really serving when we get a higher click-through rate on a button? It's really serving the person who clicks on the button because we're getting a person who is interested in what we do to make a better decision by clicking on it. So conversions matter because people matter because when you believe in what you do, you believe that you should do the best job possible. I'm not saying everybody should join, but I am saying we should do the best job we possibly can at getting the highest percentage of every little piece of value we have out there working the way that it should work to get money for the people, to make commissions for the people, to get people to make decisions. I was talking to my brother about this.

And he said, you know what? He says, you know what it really means when you have somebody that buys more products? And I said, what does it mean? He says, it means you have a customer that is better trained That's what it means. Sometimes people, they don't sell things to people because they're all nervous about money from issues they've got in the past.

But they don't realize by not selling that product, by not being good at what they do, what they're actually doing is they're not equipping the customer to succeed. They're not equipping the customer to break through. They're not equipping a person to have vision. They're not equipping a person to have the skills that they need to have in order to break through in their business. They're not equipping a person to position themselves in their business by not selling as good as they can.

By not learning to sell, a new customer is automatically in a worse place. And so are they better off if they learn to sell or if they don't? They're better off if they learn the sales principles, the marketing principles that allow them to get new customers and increase their lifetime customer value. Therefore, it's good for them if they spend the money on the top producer formula. And therefore, we're going to have a better customer who stays for longer.

I was perplexed when I first started Zpower because we had a lower retention on our lower-priced product than we did when somebody bought up to the inner circle. When somebody bought up to the inner circle, their average retention more than doubled. And I said, why is that? It's because they have more value because they're spending more money, because they're better equipped, because they have more vision, because they made a better decision. And therefore, my job is to get as many people to buy the inner circle as I could possibly get as the owner of this company because I believe that when they do, they're going to be better equipped to succeed in the marketplace.

I believe that when they do, their sponsor will make more money. I believe that when they have it, they're going to sell more of it, and they're going to make more money if they're a direct. I believe if they're a customer, they're going to be more inspired if they listen to it than if they don't. And therefore, my job as the owner of this company is to make sure that the processes are in place to get the best possible conversions to the inner circle we could possibly get because I care about the people. That is a good attitude about money.

That is a good attitude about transactions if transactions are representative of good decisions, right? Now, that doesn't happen if you're not selling something of something value, when you're not selling something that's transformational. But when you're selling something that has value, when you're selling something that has transformation built right into it, then all of a sudden it matters. It matters what people buy and what they don't buy. It matters.

Your conversions all of a sudden don't just become about numbers. It becomes about a passion. See, when you can convert numbers into a passion, when you can convert a dollar into a vision, all of a sudden it takes on a new meaning. All of a sudden, pouring through reports of data inspires you because you're looking at things that are actually affecting the future of all of the people involved with you, and therefore they're of the utmost importance and need to be paid attention to, if that makes sense. See, all this stuff is philosophy, and philosophy needs to be rooted in the right causes and the right reasons, right?

And it's not for selfish gain, right? There's nothing wrong with gaining. There's nothing wrong with earning. There's nothing wrong with making money, right? But making money does not need to be rooted in selfishness.

It should be rooted in selflessness and realizing that the reason you have that money is not because of how good you are. It's because how good the value was that you gave. And if you stop giving that value, you're going to stop getting that money because that customer that bought from you will not buy from you again and won't say good things about you, right? But if you do the opposite and you give more value than the money you receive, if you give more value than the money you receive and you do things for people that are above and beyond, it does come back to you. See, I don't believe, for example, that year that I made no money running in Power Network because of a lot of things that happened.

I'll talk about it some future time, perhaps. But I don't think that was a bad thing because I know that it will come back, right? Because I know the value that I gave in that year and a half. I know what I did. I know what I did to the marketplace.

Not a lot of people know about it. A lot of people saw different results from it. But I'll tell you, the company is still around because of it. Because of that, the company is still around, right? And I'll tell you something.

I don't know five people in the world that could keep a company together through that time. But I did. Why? Because I'm here to give you a victory. I'm here to deliver on a promise.

I'm here to be faithful to the words that I speak, right? And we'll do that to the best of my ability. And I promise you that I will never tell you something that is not the best interest of your business. But you know what I did through that time? I learned to change.

I learned to change the environment around me. I learned to change and to structure a better company. I learned to change and to be a better company owner. I learned to have a better vision. I learned what I need to be involved in and what I don't need to be involved in to succeed.

I learned what I need to pay attention to because nobody else understands it for some strange reason. It's not because they're not smart. It's because my brain is built for certain things, right? So I learned to be a better entrepreneur. I learned to be a better entrepreneur, a better visionary, a better company owner through that process of pain, right?

Sometimes the greatest victories in the struggle, ask anybody who lifts weights or, you know, is a bodybuilder for a living, where does their muscle come from? It comes from the pain, right? That's where it's generated from, like the phoenix comes from the ashes, back to the metaphor of how we started, of helping the entrepreneur to rise out of the ashes, the rags to riches story, the metaphor that you came with, back to the beginning. The beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning, right? I talk in loops.

Why do I do that? Well, maybe you could buy your ticket to Generation Here to find out. Or maybe you could just make a decision that this is what you're going to do for the first time ever. That would be a good decision, right? Realizing, realizing, right?

Realizing that the best decisions, the best decisions, they come, right? They come when you're pressed hard enough. See, sometimes you don't allow yourself to be pressed. You don't allow yourself to be pushed into. You don't allow the pain.

You want to avoid it, right? You want to avoid the pain. You want to avoid crying. You want to avoid feeling it. You know, somebody has a death in the family and they don't want to feel that pain, so they block it in.

But what you block in comes out. You can't hide it. Allow yourself to feel those emotions, to feel that pain, to be pushed. Allow the stress to motivate you to make good decisions, to break through. What was responsible for my breakthrough stress?

Right? When I first got on the internet and why I succeeded, why was it? It's because I was down and alone. And so, therefore, when I engaged in my business, I didn't give it some of what I had. I gave it everything I had.

Everything. Right? When you give something everything you've got, everything that you've got, everything that you've got, everything that you've got, you're going to win eventually. Right? How do I know when Power Network is going to be great?

Because I've given it everything I've got every point along the way because I really love and believe in what we do. Not from a I-believe-in-it-because-I-own-it perspective, because I never wanted to own a company. It was never my goal, not ever. I never had a goal of being a company owner. Owning a company was a result of a vision that was unable to be fulfilled, because the heart of the people that own companies in the marketplace was not right.

And if you doubt me on that, ask any of the leaders. They've been in lots of things. I used to have people who worked for me that would say things like that. They'd be like, why are you really owning this company? I'd say, because this company is here because of my vision.

And they'd say, but it's not for any sort of reason for yourself. It's like, no, I'd make more money as an affiliate here, truthfully, through the history. Now that probably will not end up being true sometime in the future. That's fine. I'm not opposed to making money for myself and making lots of it.

That's how much more I would have made. Now I'm okay with that. Why am I okay with that? Because I'm here to serve. And I don't need a lot of nice things in my life.

I've got a big nice house. I've got a nice car. And I have great income and all that. That's cool. I can travel the world.

I can do things I want to do. But there's a certain capacity limit for me where I just don't really care about it anymore. Where for me, for me, my value isn't giving back. Because I see I've been able to accomplish these things, and these things exist to serve you. And I really, really, really care about my people.

And I think a good leader should. I picked that up from some of the best leaders that I know. The best leaders that I know are very protective of their people. They're very protective of them. Why?

Because that's what good leaders do. They protect their people. A good shepherd protects his flock from the robbers, and the thief that's coming in from the outside, cross-recruiting. That's a good shepherd. It's protecting his flock, protecting them.

Why? You guys have got to realize something here. I'm going to teach you guys something here that might be – and this might, by the way, just sound like it's going to rail in some people. But I'm not going to mention any names here. So Aaron Raskin – let's use another example.

I talked about him last night. Why don't we use him again? Bring up his name. So he brings in a customer to Empower. And then I take that customer, and I just sell them whatever I want.

Raskin doesn't get any commissions from that. What am I doing? Stealing. So Tracy Walker is building a team, and I get introduced to – somebody else gets introduced to her team because they're a leader. And then that leader goes off and joins a new thing.

And then they leverage the relationship they had with Tracy to go recruit her team members into another thing. What is that person doing? They're stealing from Tracy because it was her money that brought those people in. And that person is leveraging her relationships that she got through her hard work and her money, and they're stealing from her. So they're stealing.

They're thieves. When somebody has people going over to their house to sign NDAs from an organization that they were building, what are they doing? They're stealing from the leaders that they were claiming to help. They're thieves. That's how I feel about it.

And I'm not pulling punches, guys. That's the truth of it. They're stealing. They're thieves. In old times, they used to cut the hand off of a thief.

You know what I mean? But the reason why I'm so adamant about that is because, guys, you know what? If somebody is stealing from you, I'm going to do what I can to protect you. I've seen enough bullshit over the years. But we need to treat teams and lines of sponsorship sacredly.

It's sacred. It's sacred. You know what I mean? It's sacred. The lines of sponsorship, making sure that the things that we have are working, making sure that we're delivering on our promises, making sure that we're maintaining the integrity of teams along the way, that you're not going underneath people and grabbing away their resources.

That stuff is sacred, guys. It's other people's money. And you don't mess with other people's money the same way you don't mess with their wives. It's that important. It's that important.

It's messing with somebody's finances. It's messing with their heart and their future. They're giving. And when somebody takes advantage of that, they're nothing more than a thief and a robber. And the industry doesn't call this out enough for what it is.

But that's what it is because it breaks people's hearts. I've seen it. Sometimes you've got to get out there and you've got to tell people the truth. You know what I'm saying? I told you on my Facebook wall, I said when I posted the link to this, I said, hey, I'm going to get on here and I'm going to tell the truth.

But you know what? When we glorify thieves and robbers because of results they get by being a thief and a robber, that's not really that much of a smart thing to glorify, is it? Because what are they going to do? They're going to do it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and repeat the pattern that they've repeated for the last few years until they change. And they could change.

You know what I mean? They could change. But that's why you see people doing things like, you know, when you have – I'm going to teach you guys some stuff about building organizations next. What's the best way to turn somebody loved into somebody hated? What's the fastest way to do it?

When that somebody who was loved starts being a thief and a robber, because that's what it is. It is what it is. And they'll make excuses about it on social media. They'll make justifications for it. They'll say, my ethics couldn't align with this or that, or whatever it was.

But it's all fucking bullshit. And justifications for doing things that are for selfish purposes. It's not a good way to build. It's not a good way to live. Another thing, I know some people who have done things, and then they've built new things after that, who have never cross-recruited.

Raskin's one of them. He's been in other deals, and he started building new deals and didn't cross-recruit. Not everyone. Always kept to his agreements and stuff. You don't need to do that stuff to build other things.

So when you see somebody doing it, understand that what they're doing is stealing, and it shouldn't be edified. It shouldn't be supported, and it shouldn't be thought positively about, because it's not positive. It's negative. It's stealing. I've always felt like that, and sometimes I haven't said it, but now I'll say it.

I've talked to the leaders about that. That's why lines of sponsorship are sacred. Your organization is sacred to me. Your team is sacred to me. And I'm always doing the best that I know how to help your team succeed.

And sometimes I don't do all the right things, because I don't have all the data in the world. But I promise you that through the future, I will do the right things to the best of my ability. Because your team is sacred to me. Your time, your hard work, your money, or your sweat and tears. And when we realize this, that we both treat the same things as the important things, then we can build a great future together.

See, when I look at what we are and who we're going, sometimes we've been really great, and sometimes we've gotten lost along the way in the past. But the great thing about that is it's like the prodigal son when he comes home, the father rejoices, doesn't he? And why does he do that? It's because a new discovery is made in the return to your roots. You know, it's really easy to forget where you came from.

And the reason isn't because your memory gets deleted. It's because your life is so different for so long, it's difficult to remember back, to remember the van, to remember the broke, to remember the frustration, to remember who you are before you were helped by that mentor. Remembering where you came from can actually be a difficult thing as the years pass by, but it's important to remember, to remember why the things happen that they happen. I've had people, they've been in, they've been like, you're not doing this right, you're not doing that right. They go on their own, they flop.

And I've had other people who've actually done that and succeed. But what does it show? Not everybody understands why they're getting the results they're getting. Not everybody understands it. They're just a part of something.

If we realize that, we stay students. If I say students of the industry, the leadership says students of the industry, then we can all succeed in a new and powerful and a better way in the future. So how do we build this thing and what do we do? Watch for your email tomorrow and log into the back office. You all need to go to that Fast Start training immediately as it comes out, because there's some built-in stuff that's important for your teams.

And team leaders, you just need to make sure to get that out to your teams. Just trust me. You'll kind of be forced to go through it when you log into the back office, because what we haven't been doing is bringing people into a simple environment where we're showing them exactly what we are, who we do, what our products are, why we sell them, who we sell them to. We haven't been doing that right. But something we did do right, right out of the gate, and that came from my brain, and I allowed it to get messed up along the way.

It's something that I've learned. Is there certain things that I just need to pay attention to and pay attention to and watch like a hawk, because I'm the one that created the original vision for the company, or was at least a part of the original vision download, however that works. I don't know where vision has come from necessarily, but here's the thing. We'll be orienting all new people that come in, because we're bringing in a lot of people, all in one way together as a community. And everybody on this call, you need to go through that to understand how that's going to work.

Because that process there will double all of your incomes who are out there selling stuff, see our income disclosure. If you aid in the process, it will probably triple, because that process works. We did $100 million in sales without change in a thing, our first $100 million. And it's a better process, the one that I just put up. And it will educate you on what we do, and reorient you in the direction that we're going.

And you need to watch it, and you need to pay attention to it. And all through the way, we're split testing everything. I just made an upsell funnel, and then I made another version, and I split tested to get the first version. The second version I made had a 30% increase on some of the product lines, 200% increases on others. So we're working on doing things that are increasing your income along the way.

And here's what I promise you. I promise you that the biggest month hasn't happened. The biggest leader hasn't joined. The most traffic hasn't been gotten. The coolest blog themes haven't been built.

The products haven't gotten as cool as they're going to be. And you ain't seen nothing yet. Why haven't you seen nothing yet? Because right now I'm just telling you, I've got a different kind of a passion for what we're doing. I've been looking back over the last few years, and seeing all of the ups and downs, and the cool parts, and the bad parts, and the ups that we're in right now, and the things that we've done right, and the things that we haven't done right, and the reasons why we didn't.

And you know what excites me out of all that is this. It's the original idea that created this company is still the core of why it worked. That's powerful. That's powerful. See, we did something that nobody else has ever done, because we were doing things in a new way.

And we still are. And nobody really understands why we've gotten as big as we've gotten. And they can't, because they don't have the data. You know what I mean? When you have data, you can make different decisions than when you don't.

When you see things that other people don't see, you can make decisions that other people can't make. And that's where we are right now. We're in a special time, a time not of reinvention, but a time of restoration. And that's a fun place to be. So I'm going to take those leaders in Miami.

Every single one. Stable. Now I'm not guaranteeing they will, and I'm not promising you will. Anytime I'm talking about this, I want you to understand this. When you look at our income disclosure, the reason we put that there is because we're not a lotto.

It requires hard work, determination, leadership. I talk about listening to audience, so therefore buying an audio library and not listening to it is not going to get you a result. It's listening to them that will. I'm going to take those leaders in Miami with the core leadership here. I will show every single person a path that is proven that will get them to diamond by the end of this year if they follow that.

And some of them will get much bigger than that. Now not everybody will probably do it, but there will be people who do it. And it will be the start of a new wave, of new leadership, of realizing the reason why we are who we are, and how we're going to get to the next level together, and how we can all profit in a bigger way by uniting ourselves in one direction, aiming our minds, protecting our teams, protecting them from vile, vicious things in the marketplace, protecting them with their best interest at heart. And I sent a voice broadcast out to my team telling my entire team not to buy the launch because it's not in their best interest, even though I would have made 50% commissions on it. And I didn't even sign up for the affiliate program because I didn't believe in it.

And I told my team not to buy it, and I had people go buy it anyways, and I missed the commissions. But you know what I got from that? You say, well what did you gain by losing those commissions? I gained loyalty. Paul Hutchings, he was around then.

He remembers it. I had 200 emails that came to me in my email inbox. And they said, I couldn't believe that you turned down a commission. You turned down a commission because you didn't believe in this. And I said, that's how I'm going to be for the rest of your life if you work here.

I still got a lot of that team still around. Why? Because I've kept to that. There's a year I did like three, that year 2014-2015, I did like three product launches. And there's some people in the field that they perceived it as me trying to grab money.

And there was a perception of that. But what they didn't realize is that the only reason I did those launches is because keeping 100% commissions is not a sustainable business model. We didn't have enough money to run the company, and I was launching those products to replace our old product line. But literally, the only reason I was launching them was because the revenue generated from those products was not going to me. It was running the company.

So I worked 18 hours a day for like six months straight creating that stuff to keep people's commissions at 100%, after which realizing that I couldn't save them. Isn't that fascinating how things are different than they seem? See, sometimes you don't know what you don't know, and I apologize if it's me not being transparent. That's just this new thing that I've got where I'm just going to tell people the truth all the time, even if they fucking quit. You know what I mean?

Look, this is the way I feel about this thing right now. I feel like we have got the best thing on the Internet ever, especially with what I know right now, especially with what I know from the past. And I know that the inspiration that came to me to help start this great company was just a great inspiration, because right now I was looking into the traffic we have. And you guys have got to see this Fast Start series when it comes out. Just promise me that you go through it tomorrow on Tuesday.

And if you're not in, get in and just go through it and decide if you want to be in there. And go through it, and go through all the steps, because it's going to unlock a bonus for you. Now here's the thing. I look at this, and I look at the things. We've got enough traffic right now to be three to five times the size we are by just optimizing it.

Like right now with our current resources, just optimizing who we are and what we do, we've got the traffic to be three to five times the size. So if I do that, what does that do to your checks? It multiplies them by three to five times if you've got teams. Obviously, if you don't have a team, you can't multiply zero. You've got to get out there and work.

Now see our income disclosure that's at EmpowerNetwork.com forward slash youhavetowork.php. I'm just joking. It's actually forward slash income at the bottom of all of our sites. But the reality is just by optimizing that and by paying attention to it. I was looking at it all the time.

It's like you want to put up a new process. And I was just looking at our front end process and looking at all the people coming in. And I tested six split test variations in a week and it increased conversions double on mobile traffic. And it increased them like 30%, 40%, 50% on regular desktop traffic. Finally, by the time I got to my last test, I found something that beat everything.

And now what's the goal? It's to beat that, because that same traffic that's coming in can get more conversions. I did a bunch of split tests on the inner circle, and I got the inner circle to grow in conversions by about 50%. But what's my next goal? To get it to about double of what it is right now.

A lot of leaders are thanking me. They're sending me notes saying, I haven't had inner circle sales automated like this in like two years. Well, I'm doing my best. But what's the next goal? The next goal is to increase it higher.

But it's not just about conversions, because conversions are linear, but leadership progression is not linear. It's unlinear progression. It's exponential progression. It's progression that doesn't make sense. Because you increase the conversion, you increase somebody's income.

You increase a good customer decision. But by increasing that customer decision, you create a customer that turns into an evangelist, because they realize the value in what they have. And I realize that even the layout right now of our back office, it's not focused around the products. And therefore, people are not going through them at the level that they should. Our new layout is focused entirely on the products.

Why? Because the products are what create the transformation. If you haven't been through them, you actually do need to go through the products. Because they're not just there to sell something to get a commission. They're there to give you the value that you need to grow into better business, to grow a better future, to grow a better life, to teach Internet marketers and network marketers how to profit more, how to prosper more, how to do it in a better new way.

They're unique in all the world. And you need to realize that. You can sell those things in multiple languages too. But you need to go through the Fast Start series and just understand what we do and who we are, and participate, and be at the Generation Hero event sitting in your chair and watch. I've been talking for a long time tonight, and ran back and forth about different things, and we'll end where we started, which is Target Market, and you, and value, and your dreams.

So why are you in this, and what are you here to do? Focus is what I encourage you to do. But I actually want you to make a decision first. And this is the tricky part, and it's the tricky part of everything. If you're on this, you're on a page with a decision to buy the Generation Hero ticket event, which is not a decision.

It's a foolish decision to decide like that. It's not foolish because you're necessarily a fool, if that's you. So I want you to understand why I'm talking like that. It's foolish because it's ignorant and unwise in a decision-making process to decide if you're going to do something or not every time a new decision comes up that's a required commitment that you need to make in order to succeed in your business. Deciding whether or not to attend every event is a foolish way to think, because you're not going to build a big business unless you attend every event, and therefore, events should never be a decision.

It should just be something that you do as a part of your profession, if this is what you want to do, even if you're part-time. This is a part-time profession. It's not a lottery. You're not gambling. You're not gambling on the event.

This is a profession, and it's a part of your learning. Therefore, you just do it. And that's what all the leaders do. Like Lawrence, you see him. He has his credit card out whenever we're selling tickets.

He's one of the diamonds. You know what I'm saying? That guy goes to more seminars than anybody I know. Why does he make a diamond income? Because he has a diamond brain.

And why is that? Is it because he's a super genius? No. It's because he's got his childlike passion there. His passion for learning, his passion for growing, his passion for thriving is back.

He restored it as an adult. You know what I mean? So he goes to seminars. He goes to seminars. You know what I mean?

He goes to seminars. Why does he go to seminars? He goes to seminars because he's always learning. Why is he always learning? Because he realizes that it's a requisite of success to continue to learn.

You must continue to learn. They require doctors to go through a certain amount of annual education to keep themselves in the game. Why? Because information changes and you need to learn new things and you don't want to prescribe somebody something that's proven not to work now or something like that. The same thing is true online.

It's not just about being educated one time. Sometimes people say, I've been to the fast start training. I'm trained. No, you're not trained. You're oriented.

You're oriented into your future. You're oriented towards your goals. You're going to be oriented. That's a part in the process. It's a part of humility.

That's a part of learning what to do, of learning what path you need to be on in your business, in your future, in your life. But just look out and watch out for your email is my last call to action. So you need to make the right decision. And what's the decision? The decision is whether you're going to do this or not.

Look, I'm fine either way. I've had a lot of people quit over the years. I'll have a lot of people quit in the future. And to me, a quitter is still a quitter, but you know what? Fine.

I'm not going to keep you around if you don't want to stay around. That's not my goal. My goal is to keep the people who want to be here, here. To keep the people who want to be in this, in this. That's the goal.

To keep the people here who are going to prosper from it, who are actually going to do it. See, I know you're not going to succeed if you don't go to Generation Hero because it's your bad attitude about events, not your financial situation that's making you make that decision. It's your bad attitude. Right? And if you don't have that bad attitude, then great.

I'll see you at the event. And you say, I don't have a bad attitude. Just the fact that you're justifying it means that you do. Yes, you do have a bad attitude if you're always re-deciding about everything. It's like getting married and every time something that you don't like happens, you're-deciding whether you want to be married or not.

You don't make decisions like that. You get married and then you just go through certain things as a part of the process that are required. Business is like that too. You can't just have a business and then not show up and expect it to work. You've got to show up.

It's a requirement. Right? The eight core commitments are a requirement. Going through the Fast Start process so you understand what your team is going to go through, so you understand how to aid in the process to create more sales in your business, to triple your income, it's required. Right?

And it's not required because it's a rule. I can't stop you from doing what you're going to do anyway. But what I can do is I can tell you the truth which is you're not going to succeed with a bad attitude. I know because every time I've had a bad attitude, my success has decreased, not increased from that attitude. And I've had to change it and change my heart.

Does that make sense to you? This ends where it starts in the beginning which is you, your vision, your target market, blogging, understanding why we do what we do and how to give value to the marketplace and that your real value financially that you're going to receive is going to be the value that you give. And make sure you're doing things in a way that's going to attract the right people. And let's go out there, walk arms, fight the forces of evil and create the next generation of heroes together. You guys ready for that?

If you're ready for that, give a shout out on Facebook. Give a shout out to all the leaders. Give a shout out to everybody in the leadership council who freely gives their time, effort, and money in order to make this thing work. Give a shout out to all the corporate employees. Give a shout out by writing a blog post, by being in your back office tomorrow watching your email.

Give a shout out by going out there and getting your tickets to Generation Hero by being there with your sponsor. And give a shout out more importantly to the universe and say, yes, it's my time. And make the decision that you're going to do it. And then by that decision, by virtue of it, I know you'll be here a year from now because that is the decision. That is the decision that is required for your record.

I will see you on the beach of the world. Appreciate you my friend. I love you. Let's lock arms and rock this thing. Talk soon.
