Hey, what's going on guys, Paul CQ here. Cassandra Lee, and together we are the Power Couple. And I'm excited, man. I'm excited. Today, we're going to be talking about how we became the Top 200, and what we're going to share with you guys today really is insignificant for the company that we became a Top 200 for.
What's more important is what really led us into becoming the Top 200. Yeah, man. You know, this is such an awesome topic, because how many of you would like to receive an email, right? An email that says, hey, you are a part of the Top 200, welcome to the Top 200, join us for a breakfast for the Top 200, right? You know, something like that, right?
How would it make you feel to know that out of all of the people, all of the people, you are one of the Top 200? How would that make you feel? That made me feel good, man. Heck yeah, man. When I first got that email, I was like, what?
Yeah. I mean, you know, really, when we figured this out, I mean, we were probably in, I think we were in Miami, 2014, and at the time, we weren't Top 200 inside of our company. And you know, the truth was that when we saw everyone walk out of there, we were kind of like heartbroken. We're like, man, we should be there. We should be there.
Well, how come we're not there? What can we do to get into the Top 200? Yeah, seriously. And that's when we said, you know what? Let's make the commitment.
Let's make the commitment. You know, like, like, I want to be above average. I don't want to be like everyone else. I want to stand out. And I knew that was one of the ways to stand out.
Well, it never happened up until, what was it? October. October. Yeah. It never happened until October 2014.
It was a little bit over six months right after we saw that. You know, but here's what we want to teach you, right? You see, when we saw Top 200, two things can happen, right? Number one, you can be excited, motivated. You say, you know what?
I'm going to do it, right? That's the first type of person. You can immediately get intimidated and retreat, right? And at the time we were motivated, man. We said, you know what?
We can do this, right? You see, the funny thing is that with anything, whenever there's a contest, whenever there's a, whenever there's somewhere where you can place, here's, here's the thinking of a lot of people. That's impossible. So right off the bat, you're not even dealing with those people anymore. It's like, it's like those people are not even in, they're not even in the contest, right?
Even though they're affiliates, even though they're part of the company, the people who think it's impossible, never even make an effort to attempt to try to do anything or try to become the Top 200. So it's like you're, you, so that gets, that gets shaved off. And a lot of people are in that category. So it's like, they're gone. So who are you really competing with then?
And did you know that from ordinary to extraordinary, all you need is just a little extra. That's it. It's not even a lot. Like, I'm telling you, like, it's literally like a centimeter difference between ordinary to extraordinary. If you had a meter, like, that's really how much it is.
There's not a huge difference and it's just about doing a little bit more than what everyone else is willing to do. Exactly. If you do a little bit more than what everyone else is willing to do, you will find that you immediately surpass your competition. Immediately. It is not a difficult thing to do.
It's a, it's like a slight edge, man. It's like the, it's like a razor blade difference. You know, check out that book by the way. Just check it out. When you look at, when you look at professional sports, right, I mean the top athletes who get paid all this, you know, millions of dollars and then you have somebody who's, who's right underneath them, right?
It's a big gap. It's like, it's such a small difference to be, you know, from ordinary to extraordinary, but it's such a huge, tremendous difference in the payout and the rewards that you get. It's a, it really, the slight change is in the decision making. It's when one person says, oh, well, I'm done for the day, I'm going to relax. You say, well, not done for the day, I'm going to continue forward.
It's that one difference in decision making. The one who says, no, I'm going to do an extra blog today or no, I'm going to market a little bit more today. No, I'm going to take this phone call anyway. I'm going to send out an email right before I go to bed. It's the people who do just that little extra.
It's not a huge thing. It's not the person that runs like this five mile marathon. It's the little extra decision making that changes just about everything and it's huge. It's a powerful concept, okay? You know, here's what happened.
Here's what really, really went down, right? You know, when we saw that immediately, you know, of course, me and my wife, we sat, we sat down and we said, you know what, we have to outline what we need to do to get to the top 200. Right? And of course, one of the things that was always included there was going to events. I mean, we never missed an event.
We still have never missed an event and we feel like it's our duty and obligation to go to every single event because imagine if we would have never gone to that event specifically, we would have never been aware that there's a top 200, we would have never actually watched them walk out in front of us and then we would have never felt the desire to want to be something better, right? We would have missed that. We would have been completely unaware. We would have been continuing to go about our business the same way we were, which by the way was making us no money, okay? And the first thing like we did is we made a commitment, right?
We over committed and we said, you know what, this is exactly what we are going to do. We sat down, we drew out an outline of exactly what we were going to do to start producing more, what we were going to do to start creating more sales and to be honest with you, you know, the truth is it was something that we definitely did not take lightly. Absolutely. You know, I'm telling you, when we came back from, I believe, one of the events in like July, we came back and we drew a 90 day game plan. What was that 90 day game plan?
We threw out an astronomical goal, right? It was just huge. It was massive. It was a goal we've never accomplished. We've never even been close to accomplishing.
It seemed impossible, right? And in fact, we fell short, but I was glad that we fell short because I'd rather fall short at a huge goal than a mediocre goal, right? And so we shot for this extra huge goal to do only one thing, which was to increase productivity and that's what happened. In those 90 days, you know, my husband and I just went crazy, massive action. Our productivity increased, everything that we did was to the 10th power because we've never in our life shot for a goal that high and we knew it was going to require a lot of work.
So the little change that happened within us growing our business before and then was the little extra productivity, the extra goals, I mean, actions that we were taking. And let me tell you, after that 90 day sprint, not only did we hit our biggest month ever in business, but what really happened was that was the month that we actually hit the top 200 of the company. Like ending the 90 day sprint, boom, we got the email, we were in the top 200. Crazy how when you make a commitment, you set a game plan, you know, really, really I recommend everyone doing the 90 day sprint. Everybody should be doing the 90 day sprint.
Eric Worre talks about it, you know, the network marketing professional, right? He talks about it. Look it up on YouTube, the 90 day game plan by Eric Worre, right? You look that up, he explains to you how most people in business experience a huge catapult or a huge change, a huge, a monumental moment of increase, right? Nothing significant happens within a 90 day sprint.
Yeah, I mean, it's crazy too, because after the 90 day sprint, not only did we start making money inside of our company, but you know, there were so many different opportunities that opened up for us as far as connections, relationships, and you know, that really just did, that created more wealth for us, right? Not so much, not so much in the sense of money, but the relationships we were making, the connections we were making, I mean, resources that we were having, you know, all of that just really led into more wealth for us. And we were just, we were just excited, right? I mean, we really took into consideration that game plan. I mean, we really did.
I mean, we really, and you know what, we're actually, as we're shooting this video, we're actually, we're on, we're getting, we're getting ready to, audio, right? We're getting ready to move out and, you know, we're actually moving to something, I would say more like of a, like our dream living lifestyle, right? And really because, because of the business that we're in, because we've decided to make a commitment to live a life better than what a lot of other people want to live, only because we decided to do what other people don't, what other people don't really want to do, right? But the reason why I say this, because now that we're going to be, you know, as this moving is transitioning and we're planted, you know, we're going to go on another 90 day sprint. Absolutely.
We're going to crush it. You know what, because look, listen, when we went on a 90 day sprint guys, I'll be honest with you, right? We literally, you know, we didn't have a lot of space at the time, you know, we struggled with a lot of different things as far as our living situation, but we never got distracted from the 90 day game plan. We went as far as buying a tent because we wanted our own space, right? And at the time, of course, you know, we weren't doing so well in business.
We weren't making any money, a lot of money, I would say, right? So we were living with our mother-in-law, right? In the middle of her living room. And of course, how much work can you get done when there's people coming in and out? There's teenagers running around in the house, right?
There's a, there's a person just, you know, just, you know, acting out or whatever. And then there's just weird family members, right? And you know, the truth is that it's, even then we pushed through, we persevered, but we knew that we needed our alone time. We knew we had to completely get rid of any distraction, exactly, isolate yourself, incubate yourself. You know, you look at a, you look at a butterfly, a little, a little worm, right?
That turns into a butterfly, caterpillar, caterpillar, right? And a caterpillar, it's so interesting because when it's ready to, to get to the next level, the next stage and evolve into a butterfly, what does he do? What does she or he do? Right? It incubates itself, right?
It turns into a cocoon and inside that cocoon, she basically just shuts out anything from coming in and it grows into the next stage of that caterpillar's life, which is a butterfly. It evolves, right? And I think we're the same way. I think that when you're going into this 90 day sprint, you have to really incubate yourself. You have to literally be, literally be willing to make a commitment to block out any distractions.
You know, I'm excited. You know why I'm excited? Because I'm ready to go on another 90 day sprint. Me too. I'm ready to work Monday through Saturday.
Okay. 16 hours a day and then enjoying Sundays as a day to get away. That's what I'm willing to do. I'm excited. I can't wait for it.
I'm pumped up because I know after 90 days, another significant level will be reached. Another significant level is going to be reached and then there's going to be plenty of time to enjoy that time as well. Yeah. You know, there also needs to be like a gap in between, not a gap, a gap doesn't sound like a very awesome word, but there needs to be some time aside after the 90 days where you just enjoy it. Right.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Absolutely. Enjoy the fruits of the labor, but don't get stuck in that level. Right. This is crucial, man.
You know, I was telling, you know, when you, when you look up the Eric Worre 90 day game plan, he says something really powerful, right? He says, when you commit to doing this, tell your friends, tell your family, Hey, I am not going to be available the entire week. And the only time you'll be able to really hang out with me or see me or whatever is on this day, this time. That's it. That's it.
Right. He tells you to tell them because why then if something does come up, everyone has already been pre-warned not to bother you because I'm telling you, look, you, if you really want to see a significant level change in business, go on a 90 day sprint. Do it right now. You can either do it part time or full time. And when you do it, have one day completely off where you don't do anything.
That's the only day you can really, you know, exchange, you know, time with, with family and friends and catch up. Right. But really isolate yourself and go crazy with massive action. Now, what kind of actions do you take in a 90 day sprint? I mean, that's simple.
Number one. Okay. You're going to be working Monday through Saturday. Okay. Monday through Saturday.
All right. You're going to be working. You're going to make a decision to work in part time, which is eight hours or full time, which is 16 hours. Right. You know, some of you guys might just get crazy in their head and do 16 hours and for that, we commend you.
We admire you. And I think, I think that's awesome. And whether you do eight or 16 hours, just make a decision on which one of those you're going to do. All right. The next thing is that you have to be willing to work from Monday to Saturday.
Okay. Expecting nothing in return. Okay. And the reason why is because look, listen, like I, you know, I talked to someone one time and he said, look, listen, if I'm going to work this for 30 days, all right, first of all, he didn't want to do the 90 day sprints already making a mistake. If I'm going to work this for 30 days and I'm going to put eight hours in every single day, I better expect something at the end of the 30 days for all the hours I put in.
I'm like, dude, are you looking at this as like a job or something? He's like, yeah, I mean, no, I mean, yeah, I mean, a job, I get paid, you know, I work all these hours and I get, I get rewarded. I was like, dude, that's the biggest mistake you could do. This isn't a job. You're in the wrong, you're in the wrong business.
I mean, you're in the wrong industry, industry, dude, you gotta go back to a job then. This is the 90 day game plan, dude, not the 30 day game plan and you don't get paid for the hours you put in. Look, listen guys, you have to be okay with putting effort and putting hours into, into your success, not getting anything in return. And the reason why is because we heard, in the beginning, last year in 2014, we, we, we were able to, pick up a product, which is a phenomenal product. Okay.
that really allowed us to sell more high ticket commissions, right? High ticket products. Right. I mean, talk about the four figure, you know, making four figures a day type, type deal. Right.
And one of the leaders there, one of the, awesome, awesome presenters, all right. He said something and he said something powerful. He said, any action that you take towards your success will pay you, will eventually pay you, will eventually pay you in the future. Right. And that's powerful.
That's encouraging. And that's really all we needed to hear to start working this, being okay with not getting paid, being okay with spending countless of hours and nothing happening because we knew that as long as we kept taking action towards our success, that it was going to pay us. It was either going to pay us an experience, which then experience turns into expertise. And when you become an expert, don't you get paid like an expert? Don't you think people want to be around, like be around an expert and pay you for your coaching and your services?
I mean, look, listen, you get paid regardless. I mean, you will get paid and all these, all those hours that you're putting towards and you're putting the effort into the success that you want to create will pay you. It will pay you. Absolutely, man. And when you do it like that, you say to yourself, you know, a lot of people who don't have the mentality of, of winning big in business, they, they think that a lot of the times the actions that they're taking are the problem when really it's the people that don't keep doing that.
I love what you say. And that is very powerful because if you can commit to doing a ninth day sprint and not care about the actions that are coming now and care about, I mean, I mean, sorry, not care about the results that are coming right now, but care about the results that it will eventually bring. There's a difference. A lot of people care about the results now, therefore they get discouraged. Therefore they just think, man, I'm doing something wrong and therefore they end up giving up.
But if you think about the results it will eventually bring, suddenly nothing really matters what happens now. You shouldn't really care about the result. If the result comes, that's a bonus. Just, just care about the action. Are you doing whatever it takes?
Are you consistent? Are you really, really, putting every effort you possibly can? Are you doing everything within you to succeed? That's, that's what you should care about. In fact, I want to share a quick story for you.
Okay. This story is about two frogs, right? And then these two frogs, you know, were, were, you know, obviously by their pond and they're about, you know, they were young, they were youthful and they went up to each other and it was like, yo, let's, let's hop over there. Like let's go past, you know, that bush. And the one brother looks at that, at the frog and says, man, we've never been that far out.
I've never, we've never been that far out. Are you sure? This is dangerous. And the brother says, come on, let's, let's do it. Let's, let's take an adventure.
So they agree. And the two frog brothers, right, they, they end up hopping around and they're having a good time. They're feeling, you know, adventurous and, and they're taking a risk and they're laughing and they end up jumping really high and they hop into this bucket, this bucket of cream, right? They have no idea what it is, but they jump into like, whoa, what are we in? And they, they taste it and it tastes so good.
They start splashing each other. They start drinking it. They're burping. They're having a good time and they're, they're just enjoying themselves. Right?
Suddenly they get warned out. Right? And they're like, all right, let's go home. This was crazy. And so they're trying to hop out of this bucket, but, but they realize that they can't, right?
Because they're in a bucket. It's slippery. They can't get their, their feet to plant down on something to really leverage themselves to hop out of the bucket. They're, they're in, they're in cream, right? The, the edges of the bucket are slippery.
They tried to climb up, but nothing is working. So they're starting to get really discouraged. One brother says, let's just look over to our home and die here with what dignity we have left. And the brother says, no, are you kidding me? We're not going to die here.
We're getting out of this bucket. And then he says, he says, no, it's impossible. How are we going to get out? The one frog says, don't you remember when we were just tadpoles and all we hoped was to one day hop on land? Weren't we able to do it then?
Don't we have luck now or something like that? And then the frog says, there's no, there's no luck in the life of a frog or no hope in the life of a frog or something like that. And the one brother is like, no, I refuse to die here. So the frog ends up drowning, right? And he dies at the bottom of the thing.
The other frog is saying, no, I'm going to do this. He starts swimming in circles, swimming in circles around this bucket, trying to figure a way out of this, this mess, right? He wants to get home and he starts swimming and swimming and swimming and swimming and nothing is happening. And all he can think of is his brother's words. There's no hope in the life of a frog.
He starts thinking, is he right? Am I swimming in pointless circles for nothing? Is nothing going to come out of this? And he keeps swimming and swimming and swimming and swimming until finally his muscles are extremely tired that he ends up stopping. When he stops, he starts to sink, but then he feels something, something really hard.
He touches it and he's like, what the heck is this? It's rough. It's like strong. He, he plants his foot off of it and he, he, he pushes off and he's able to jump out of the bucket and onto land and two immediate feelings begin to happen. Number one, he gets extremely excited.
Like what? I did it. I'm out just at the point as he was about to give up. And the other feeling was, man, my brother settled, thought that there was no action possible to get him to the life he truly desired. And you know what happened when that frog was swimming in pointless, endless circles?
You see, what happened was he eventually churned some butter by spinning in circles in that cream. It churned butter. And so the morale of the story is to show, tell you and show you, Hey man, if you've been swimming in pointless and the circles and you're not seeing any result now, the thing. don't get weary of doing good. Don't get weary of the actions.
The actions eventually will turn something. Something's going to come out of it and you'll be able to plant yourself on it, throw yourself off of it, and land into a better place. That's what the 90-day sprint does. It's like that frog in that bucket, but which frog are you going to choose to be? The one that says I'm giving up or the one that says I'm pushing through.
I'm going to keep going. There has to be a way out. I'm telling you a 90-day sprint will allow you to end up in a way better place than where you are right now. You just have to be willing to go through it. You have to be willing to get tired.
You have to be willing to get to feel like nothing has happened. You have to be willing to take massive action regardless of the results you are seeing at the current moment. A full 90-day sprint is what will get you to your next level. Absolutely. I love that story.
I absolutely love that story and if you want to if you want to understand some of the you know where that concept comes from that should I say that story it's actually from the book The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. I mean if you want to go ahead and pick up that book which we highly suggest it's something that's really going to change your life the way you think and it's really going to be impactful and I think it's going to serve you as a good book to read while you do the 90-day challenge. Because the biggest the biggest challenge that you will face in this challenge is going to be that in the very beginning when you're starting anything you need a lot of velocity you need a lot of effort you need to put a lot of things forth and you might not see all the energy that you're putting into it in the very beginning you might not see the evidence but eventually just like anything right just imagine you're pushing a big boulder in the very beginning you have to exert just levels unimaginable of effort like just like quantities like massive quantities of effort to push this boulder but then what ends up happening right what ends up happening is something beautiful that after you continue to push it all of a sudden the boulder starts to roll faster because of its own weight because of its because of because of the speed that it's going right it starts to carry itself faster and faster and then all of a sudden it becomes easier to push that boulder right so I mean even think about when you're when you're kid when you were a child and you were you're on the swings right and all of a sudden when someone would swing you or when you're pushing somebody in the swing should I say it's hard in the beginning right but then all of a sudden what happens right the swing all of a sudden just starts to pick up its own speed based on the child who's sitting on the swing that's just going back and forth back and forth and then you have to put you have to put less and less effort to get more and more and more in return right so I mean look listen pick up that book it's a great book to read especially this 90 day challenge yeah man so guys take action take massive actions this is the power couple
