Tracy! ♪ No matter what, look, I love you, you're my man. ♪ ♪ I can never get enough of you. ♪ ♪ Every time I think of you, man, everybody's hands go up. ♪ All right, do you guys mind if I erase this?
Does everybody have the notes from this? Okay. So what I am going to go over is what I talked about a little bit yesterday before we did this, and that is before you go into any type of active marketing, I believe it's important that you know who you're marketing to. And I know that so many people have challenges around who they should be targeting and who they should be marketing to. One of the things that I struggled with for a while was I wanted to market to a certain person because I just wanted to market to that person.
But the reality was that my gifts, my skills, my talents, my aura, my energy just attracted a different type of person and so I had to come to grips with who I was, right? And understand that I'm not trying to target everybody. I wanna attract the people that would probably do well working with me and where I would do well working with them. What I found is that even when I would attract people that were not like me, it drove me nuts. I hated it, I didn't wanna get on the phone with them, I don't wanna answer their questions.
They could ask me the same question as somebody else, but because it's them, I don't wanna answer, right? And that is detrimental when you're building a team and you're a leader of a team. And so I took some time to really identify who I was, what skills, what gifts, what talents I possessed already and then I tried to find a market of people that could actually benefit from what I could already provide, right? Doesn't mean that I can't enhance myself, it just means the path of least resistance. Start off with that, right?
So what I wanna do, how much time do I actually have? Somebody, finally. 60 minutes, okay, we'll go with it. I want everyone here, when we're done, I want, you will have, I'm not gonna say I want, you will have your target market identified. Okay, you will walk away with that.
You will walk away with the processes that you need to take someone through to get them from where they are to where they wanna be, which is why you're there, that's your expertise that you're bringing to their lives. And I believe that if you chose to, you would be able to create products or services or lead magnets or whatever around that because you would have many different entry points to how you can attract that person. It won't just be one front door. Does that make sense? So are you guys ready to know, finally, right, who?
And then when you get into traffic and things like that and blogging, just any type of marketing, social media, you can speak in a voice that is authentic, but that doesn't, it doesn't make you feel like you're trying to be someone you're not, right? And it's very, people can feel that too. And even the people who you're not talking to specifically will still be attracted because they can resonate with saying, I wish I was just as authentic as she was or he was, all right? So what I might do, I'll speak to Bonnie about this, is I actually have these documents I'm gonna be training from. I will see if we can make them available to everybody so that they can go through the exercises in a little bit more detail if they want to.
But the first thing that we're gonna do is we're gonna, I like to call it your niche, I guess I can see with red on here, right? It's like identifying your niche, and there's a couple of phases that we have to go through, right? So with your niche, oh, that probably won't work. And I'm left-handed, so, you know, sorry. Yeah, the blue.
Okay. So your, I'll try this on this way. So your niche, okay? So the first phase of this, and we're gonna go through each of these as exercises, okay? And I'll make sure within a couple minutes we can complete them.
But the first step is to identify industry, or passion, you know. And we'll want five of them to start with. Now, this could be, and when I say industry, these aren't skill sets, we'll do that next. Industry, like I know network marketing, right? I know real estate investing.
I know single motherhood. I know internet marketing. I know dance, right? Think areas that you know something in. What would those things be, all right?
So take a moment to write down five areas, industries, that you know something about. And when I say something, something enough to talk about it. And I'm not looking for you to prioritize them right now. I just want you to write them down. What I think a lot of us forget is that before you got started on the internet, you were an expert at something, somewhere, right?
And we get on the internet and we just act like we don't know how to do nothing. We don't know, we don't know anything. We don't know how to think, we don't know how to, you know, it's crazy, like we start all over, right? And that's not, the perception is that you have to be someone you're not. So people are constantly trying to take who they were out of the equation to build a successful business.
I just think you should merge them. I just think it's a thing, all right? Everybody have at least three, five of those down? People at home, if somebody let me know, I'll kind of tap in and make sure they have them. Do we have some people that have their five industries?
Not yet, okay. Guys, if you're at home and you have at least three to five of these, please type them in so that we can, you know, be aware. I want to keep you guys in the loop, okay? The people here, we can work on this after. I want to make sure that you guys get this, too.
And while we're waiting, if I want to just share what they've come up with in the room. All right, oh wait. All right, I have self-development, martial arts, fitness, health, wellness, and nutrition. Got it, okay, perfect. You guys get where we're going with that?
Those are the things that he knows about. Anybody else want to share? Lauren? So I got internet marketing, blogging, affiliate marketing, Facebook, Instagram, which is one, and then part-time building. Okay, part-time?
Yeah, part-time building. Oh, like working a job and building, okay, got it. Part-time building, all right. Everybody good? All right.
So the next section is skills you possess. And we want five of these. Now, skills you possess are things you can do. For example, I know how to write a marketing plan. I know how to put together a PowerPoint presentation.
I know how to train in front of a live audience. I know how to get a two-year-old to go to sleep, right? I know how, they're things you know how to do. Now, you want to keep them in the context of business, right? So, for example, one young lady I was working with, she didn't think, okay, one of the industries that she was passionate about was motherhood, it really was, right?
And one of the skills that she possessed was organizing travel. She's not in the travel company, but she just would put together trips, right? And the most recent trip that she put together was for women who were moms that felt guilty when they would leave their children. Right? She knows how to book travel, and she knows about moms, right?
So, she merged those two things together and booked an excursion for women to help get away and not feel guilty, right? So, skills you possess, right? Tell me what you want to share, what they know how to do. What do you know how to do? What can you deliver?
Well, training. I'm also not bad at PowerPoint presentations. Sharing knowledge, really. Nerding out. Okay.
Is there anything more, the PowerPoint presentation, but something more tangible? Like, what could you teach somebody else to do? Like, the what of the teaching? Yeah, like, what can you do that you could teach somebody else to do? Or that would add value to them?
What'd you say? Spelling? Okay, so like the art of sales. Okay. Yeah, I guess so what I'm aiming for is, let's say, like, that's part of my offer with the end, is I'll help you to learn this.
Really get you, get your momentum. So, I'll show you, I'll help you learn your workflow. So, figure out somebody's workflow is something that I'm really good at. Okay, now we're narrowing it down, right? You said you're gonna help somebody for 90 days, help me do what?
Right, yeah. We're gonna get into this specifically, so I don't want you to worry about it, but workflow is really what you're saying. Yeah. So you're saying, you wake up in the morning, you do these things, you go to bed at night, and over time, it's gonna give you a particular result. Right, exactly.
Okay. That's fine. So, managing yourself within time, prioritizing. I'm working on that for myself right now. Fine.
Yeah, yeah, but then that's the point. That's the point. You can grow with people. You don't have to already be the master before you show somebody else how to do it. In fact, most of our leaders, if you look about in history, it was a journey together, right?
I mean, think about people that wanted civil rights and equality, they were going through the same thing at the same time everybody else was. It's just they couldn't convey the vision enough for other people to get on the bandwagon and say, I wanna go there too, right? And that's the same thing. You don't already have to have $5 million, right? You just don't wanna leave.
Right, exactly. Right, you have to have a different process. All right, so people online, do they have some skills? Helen said, be from yoga, law of attraction, mindset, and personal development. I like that.
Okay. Herbert, architecture, cycling, DJ slash music, and internet marketing. Okay. And then Taylor said- These are industries. Okay.
Right, are these industries? Okay. Okay, and then Taylor said marketing, beauty, business, entrepreneurship. Okay. I like that.
Okay, you guys are getting it, right? You're getting it. So you guys know a lot of stuff, right? All right, so now you know what you know something about, and now you know what you can do, right? The next thing we're gonna do is we're gonna actually pick one of these.
And listen, it's just intuitive. Which one stands out the most for you? Okay, which one stands out the most of the industry? What you can do is what you can do, okay? But of these industries, which one of these things stands out, right?
For me, it was network marketing. That was just my thing, right? So pick that. And then what you're gonna do here is you're gonna list the problems these people face. Okay?
So if you're in the beauty industry, and you provide beauty services, and there's different types of services. It could be skin, it could be hair, it could be, I don't know, but let's just say you're a hairstylist. Well, what are some of the issues that people who would come to you as their hairstylist have, right? Oh, my hair is breaking off. Oh, it's thinning.
My color is doing something, right? Or I want a totally different, I want a cut, right? I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do with my face. All these types of things. So what are the problems that these people face?
And let's just do five of them, right? Right, so example. So because mine is network marketing, and I know how to do, or how to build sales funnels, right, I know how to build sales funnels, I know how to do marketing plans, I know how to do time management, right, I can do all that stuff. And the problems that the people face in network marketing would be they don't know how to get leads, right? One problem would be they're an offline network marketer, and they don't really know how to effectively build on the internet.
They don't understand how to bridge what they know offline to what we're doing online, right? Another problem that they may face would be they don't know how to recruit. They might get leads, but they don't know how to recruit. Right, another problem might be that they don't know how to support an organization that's growing. Building a team, kind of, because they could build a team.
Because there are people that know how to go out and aggressively recruit frontline, right? And those are like your builders. But when you're building an organization, you're looking for a little bit more duplication. So then if you recruit someone who's also like you, by chance, then that's great, right? Then they'll go out and build a group of a lot of people.
But if you have someone who has the potential to build a huge group, but they're not a heavy recruiter like you, then what? So you might actually have a team growing, but you have people who might be lying dormant, because they think they need your charisma to do it. They see the way that you speak, or the way that you handle things, or the way that you know traffic or programming, and they think they have to know that. That's gotta be the way to build a team. But we gotta remind them of this, which is why you're here.
We forget, right? So problems, okay. Somebody give me an industry that they've chosen, and five problems that the people in that industry face. Take a little bit more time. Anybody online?
Some of you guys are speed demons. 60 seconds behind, okay, so a little bit less. We'll give it a couple more minutes. Go ahead. Just go for it.
All right, so. All right, I'm gonna pick self-development. That would be the industry. They may lack motivation and direction. And problems they have, well.
Wait a minute, go back. Say your industry again. Self-development. Self-development. Yeah.
Okay. Personal development, self-development, that's the industry, I got it. All right, and the problems that they have. Problems they have, lack of direction, the lead, inspire taking action, things like that. Okay, that's fine.
Because when you look at personal development, those aren't really tangible things. They're internal. All the stuff that Will did with us earlier, it's kind of that stuff that you can't quantify for someone. It's going to differ for every single person. So it's more abstract, a little bit more work, but it's okay, okay.
Because that's what you chose. You chose the personal development. Okay, anybody else? Go ahead, Mike. Give the mic to Mike.
I picked internet marketing. What problems do they face? They don't know how to generate leads. They don't know how to get traffic. Not good at conversions.
Don't have a business mindset. And don't understand engagement. Good. All right. We'll see if the people on the live stream have something.
Another one in the room. I could probably throw out so many, but let's say Lawrence helped me out earlier to find my niche, which would be a good one. Weight training, right? So I'm a- Did you put that down as an industry? I did.
Okay. Yeah. So what does everybody working out want to do? They want six pack abs. So what is the problem?
Eight, I want eight. Well yeah, eight or- I'm going hard. I know, right? 64. You want the little side grooves and everything?
Right. So what do you need to do? I'm like, it's dieting. Everybody thinks it's crunching. So I can help them figure out how to diet right.
Okay. It's really about nutrition. So give me the five problems. Because- So yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, right.
Okay. But I thought like that was like, that's so huge because- But you've had a breakthrough and you're like- Yeah, yeah. In that moment he's like- I'm like, jeez. I can help them figure it out. That's really what it is.
But you still want to eat a lot, but that's another thing. So, you know, what are the five problems they're looking for is how to save time doing it. Okay. And how to really get the exercises that they want to get the look that they're looking for. Okay.
So customized type of program? Customized programs. You know, I'm not a personal trainer, but I know how to have access to that. Okay. Yeah.
So, you know, those things. Like the look you're looking for, the six pack, the time saving. If you're like, do you have a family? You know, I've got a domain name already. Ah, ah, ah.
Digress me. Give me five problems. Right. Well, I mean, because that would be my niche, right? Like I'm home gym dad, right?
So, what's that? What to eat, what not to eat. So nutrition. Nutrition. Yeah.
And then one more. One more. Like, I don't know, like maybe access to either equipment or not equipment, right? So plyometrics or doing it with equipment. So you can do it at home or easy exercise and stuff like that?
Right, exactly. So like saving time without needing necessarily, with equipment or without. Okay, got it. So how do you feel about that? Like, do you feel like?
I'm pretty passionate about it. All right. I think it's coming out. Because you picked up, yeah? Yeah, yeah.
From yesterday when we had a conversation, you were kind of more like, oh, I've got to figure it out. I know people that like do application something. You were saying that like. Yeah, yeah. Well, I know.
It's like it's my former career. Oh, who are they? I think a lot of people watching and listening right now are like, you know, we're moving away from something. We're not necessarily running away from something, but we're trying to move towards something. And that's really what it is.
I think Lawrence helped me out a lot with that. It's like figuring out like, you know, he's not talking about engineering, you know, he's not talking about his previous career. So what is it the next, what's the next level for me? And then how can I, how can I build the bridge to then get people to like, that's my front end and then get people in the back end. And that, I mean, that's why this says industry is a passion.
No innuendos on that. Right. I mean, it's really important when you can tap into something that you already feel good about and that you know something about, you don't have to be the expert in it. The point that you're going to become the expert in it, right, that's what we're doing. We're building you to be the expert.
And then you know what they struggle with, then now you're the solution survivor. And that's really all we're doing. That's what marketing is. People think marketing is the strategy or the technique, and it's not. That's advertising.
Right. Right. Exactly. So my content is, are these five things, for instance, that the content, that's where I deliver. And then, you know, between we have commercials.
There you go. You got it. Okay. So then you're, you're pretty much almost ready. I mean, you're ready for it.
So now what we're going to do is of these five problems, which one stands out the most in your mind? Which one do you believe these people want the most information about now? They want information about them all, obviously. But what is the one that is the most pressing, that is the most dominant, that is, that keeps them asleep, keeps them awake at night? That keeps some people asleep, too, I guess.
They don't want to get up. Right. Get to work. So we're going to look at the number one problem. You want this?
Of those five. So we took your five passions and we made you pick one. Now you're taking the problems people face, and you're picking one. And we also know what you can do. This is kind of starting to come together.
A little bit. All right. At home? I mean, yeah, I guess they're at home. Somebody have the mic?
This is from Judy. She said small businesses. That's her niche? That's her niche. Okay.
She said maintaining clients. Okay. Maintaining staff. Effective advertising. Training of staff and customer support.
Good. Very good, Judy. You got it? All right. So now everybody have the one most pressing problem.
Right? So with you, who would you say, or what problem would you say would be the most in-demand problem? Direction? And like a new career? Because the thing is, you're saying personal development.
So what do we say? Are we saying people are transitioning from? Oh, you're looking at the mic. Sorry. What is the context of the personal development?
Because you can have personal development in business. You can have personal development in marriages. You can have personal development with your children. You can have personal development at work. Like, in what context?
Entrepreneurship? In the context of entrepreneurship, yes. Okay. So entrepreneurship. And people who want to do what?
Start a business. Okay. People who are looking to start a business. So they're probably working? Probably working, yes.
Full-time partner doing something. And they want to shift out of that and get into entrepreneurship. Yes. And the number one thing is where to start. Yes.
And what direction they should go in. Yes. Got it. Does that make sense to everybody? And this is just a mental problem.
This isn't hard stuff. Right? I mean, we've been doing, what, 15 minutes? Maybe? I don't know.
Okay. Now I'm going to erase this. You guys got this? Okay. We're still on this section.
This is four. We've got to do number five. What we did number? Okay. Now we're going to do number five.
So now we're going to take the person from where they currently are to their desired position. Right? This is where you come in. Because people will only join people that can help them go from where they are or where they believe you can help them go from where they are to where they want to go. That's it.
That's it. And we all have different skills, obviously. So your person is currently at, this is the number one problem. What did you say yours was with the weight? What's the number one problem with that?
Abs. So are you talking to men? Because women care about abs, but maybe not so much. Well, booty pop. Good thing I didn't have the mic.
I was repeating it. You blew it in. Okay. So you're saying, like women, we like the tone. Right.
We like the tone. I don't necessarily want to be a body builder. And I don't need to walk out and look like She-Ra either. Right? But I just want to be together.
I want to look good in a swimming suit. I want to fit my clothes. I want to have a sexy shape. Okay. So we'll get into a little bit more of who.
But ideally the thing is what for you? The toning or the muscle building? I don't know. I think guys, you know, if we just think about like Hollywood movies, right, just think about, you know, guys want to look like the guy there and the girls want the guy. So how do you get to look like that guy?
So it's about the look. So it's the look. Yeah. Okay. So we'll take girls as an example.
It's never really about the scale. It's about the look. So, yeah. Okay. So this group right here, what's the problem?
That they don't like the way they look? Right. I guess so. Or, you know, that they don't look like that guy. They don't like the stomach, the tummy's too big, or the what?
The shoulders aren't broad enough or the arms aren't flat. Like what is the problem? This, you know, they don't have the superhero look like, you know, Captain America. So then they look like who? Who do they look like?
Homer what? Yeah, they call him, yeah, Homer Simpson. Okay. So currently they look like Homer. Oh, maybe.
Right? We'll put that in quotes. Or they feel they do. Right. Well, I mean, yeah, and feeling is probably the best way.
It's like how do you feel about what you're looking like? Okay. What will that bring you? So then the desired position is what superhero? What superhero?
Yeah, specifically. I don't know. Because you said superhero. Yeah, yeah. I just said, I don't know, Captain America.
Like whoever's in the Avengers. Okay. Or whatever superhero of the day Ryan Reynolds is playing. All right. So is there a difference between Homer and Captain America and the way that they look?
We all agree. Right? And so the guy that feels like he looks like this, that wants to look like this, obviously can't just jump over there. So what are the steps he needs to take roughly to get there? Tell me.
Here's a clue. Yeah. What are those five problems you have? Right. Exactly.
So first off, yeah, you have to either start with a workout or you change your nutrition. So those are like the real two things. But just changing the way you eat. Okay. So eating, having.
Right. Okay. What's next? The exercise program. Okay.
And you don't have to be in any particular order right now. Okay. Okay. Eating, exercise. So, yeah, like I mean exercise, but then you get the actual program to specifically get the specific exercises that will give you the look.
So specific workout plan? Flexibility. Like muscle flexibility? Yeah, because it's more like a lifestyle, right? So, yeah, you don't want to be spending all your time doing it.
You don't want to be thinking about it all the time. Okay. So it's got to be part of your life. So some kind of like flexible plan. Okay.
Time management. Okay. Scheduling, time blocks, time management. Okay. What else?
Mindset. Like habits. Yeah, it's like what the habits call in time management. Okay. So do you, in your heart, believe that if you had a person that came to you that was down here, and you could strategically show them these steps, and they implemented them because they were serious, that they could get here?
Absolutely. Okay. So do you believe you found your niche? Yes. Okay.
Do you feel good about the niche? I feel awesome about it. Okay. Do you believe that you can teach this stuff without a lot of extra homework? You might be doing some research, but overall could you talk about this stuff without having to like kill yourself to learn more?
Yeah, no, absolutely. I couldn't. Okay. All right. Everybody understand that, right?
The transformation process. I'm so happy for you. Yeah, I think a lot of people are happy for you. Thank you. All right.
Anybody else have their niche determined? Who didn't have it before? I'm worried about you guys. Not worried, but, you know, I can see it. Okay.
Because you're kind of vague. Yours is kind of vague. Yes. Okay. So let's erase this.
Let's erase this. Okay. And we'll do you. And then we'll go into a couple of more little things I need to do with you guys to bring this home, okay? Because this is really just step one.
This is just aligning with it. This is aligning with it. But this hasn't taught you what to do now. Right? This is just, okay, now I know I have a plan.
I can see. But now I need to know what steps I take to materialize this. Okay? All right. All right.
So what's number one problem? You said that. Direction. Direction. So state it to me as a problem.
So if you were that person, my problem is that I don't, I can't. Okay. Doesn't know how to get started. Is that it? Is that the problem?
Yes. Okay. And so what they want? They want to have a business that is profitable. So this is no business at all because I don't know how to get started.
And this is have a profitable business. Online? Yeah, or brick and mortar. Or where? Or.
Okay, two different things. Okay, online. Direction. Online. Okay.
Online. You guys, it's a difference, right? Yes. If I'm going to start a business offline and I have zero money, I'm probably going to have to write a business plan and somebody has to give me some money some kind of way. If I want to start a business online and I don't have any money, I could probably borrow that.
Right. So yes, online. Okay. Just checking. Yes.
Okay. So what are the five problems that you said they have that you can solve? Okay, they don't believe they can do it. So belief. Belief.
So they need to have a, so the next step is that they need to have a change in belief. Yes. Can you help them get a change in belief? Yes. Okay.
What's next? They want to be motivated. Can we say inspired? Inspired. How about, how about you do inspired versus motivated and share the difference?
What? Because there's a difference. You can't do this or something? No. You want me to do this?
Because inspiration is from inside out. Yes. Right? So motivation can come from the outside, but then what happens to most people that when that motivation doesn't exist or what they identify as a motivation doesn't exist, then they cease. Right.
Okay. So they need like compelling reasons, like a strong why. Right. So, so I'm going to put inspired versus motivated. Right?
And your reason for that is what? Why do you want them to have inspiration versus motivation? So, so that they can take action. Okay. So that's, that's the change that we want to make.
Yes. So they're going from no action into action. Yes. Okay. Getting into action.
All right. What else? And then finding, you know, finding what they're, what they're good at to actually do it. Okay. So, so identify skills.
Skills. Yes. Identify skills then. Okay. What else?
So now we're going to change your belief. Once you believe you can do it and you can inspire yourself enough to take action, you got to do some stuff. Next. What's next? Have the mindset, right?
Well, I mean, let's, yeah, let's, cause this is where they're going. Yes. We got to get into something because if I'm going to work with you and I didn't have a business and now I want a profitable business, you got to show me something else. I've changed my belief. Now I'm ready to go.
I'm taking action on the things I know how to do. Okay. Like what? Okay. So that might be the solution, but what is it that empowers solves?
When you say tools, are you saying like processes? Are you saying systems? Are you saying training? Are you saying education? What are you saying?
We do it all. But what are you saying for this person? I'm not sure. What do they need? They need training?
How did you? They need marketing. They need training to do this because they got a skill set, right? I don't know how to write a business plan. Okay, great.
Now what? Right. And I'm inspired to do it and I believe I can do it. Okay. How does that help me get here?
So now I need to know how to turn these skillsets into something in motion, right? Where I can generate an income for this. So education, marketing, training. Right. Exactly.
But then this becomes how to materialize skills, right? And we can put marketing, training, more education of some sort. Okay? Is that the gist? Okay.
So now you're going to show me how to do some marketing. You're going to train me on some stuff. I'm going to get educated on other concepts. And what's the last thing I need to do? I have an idea.
Action plan. Action plan would work. Action plan, would that work? Okay. Because they said to you that they don't know how to get started.
And the best thing you can do for them is to show them what? How to get started. Exactly what to do. Because if you can't show them how to get started, none of this, you're playing around. Right?
So now, do you guys believe that if you were brand new and you didn't know how to get started, that if you learn these things, now again, we're not looking to teach everybody everything about the whole world and the gamut of the thing. We're talking about something that we can tangibly provide value or something we can tangibly give somebody to provide value to the marketplace that has the potential to get them from point A to point B in the way that we know how to do it. Right? Do you believe that if you went through these steps that you could possibly get here? Absolutely.
You feel confident in that? Very. And you know somebody came through your process and they followed your steps. You're like, hey, if you don't get this, it ain't because of us. Yes.
It's because of you. Right. Okay, good. So you got it now, right? Did you write it down?
I got it. Okay. Thank you. You got it. You're welcome.
Okay. So, let's keep going. Do we have any current to desired steps that people have come up with? No? Okay, guys, listen.
You gotta participate. All right? You gotta participate. We're doing this not just for the people in the room. I'm doing this because these are real life examples that I can share with you to help you creatively come up with what works for you.
So, I need to know that you're getting this. All right? I need to know that you're getting this because it doesn't do me any good. I'm up here to teach you something to get you from here to here. Right?
And if I don't know the documents you got here, then I'm not doing what I'm supposed to be doing. If I need to adjust, I need to adjust. Right? But I don't know I need to adjust unless I get feedback. All right?
So, from the room, it looks like we're good. All right? We've got two of these done. How am I on time? Somebody?
It's fine. Okay. Can I erase this? Okay. Oh goodness, that fast?
Time's up. Okay, good. All right, so we've got the niche. Nobody gets to say ever on social media in my presence, but I don't know my niche. Right?
Because if you have somebody on your team then who has this problem, then they need to buy this product. Right? It's not your job to, I mean you could, but it does you better to leverage a system, a tool, right, that sells it as third party. Right? You make more commissions that way.
All right, so we got the niche. Now, what we want to do is we want to really, really hone in on now your lead magnet. Because one of the things that I heard people say that they want to get out of this is, how do I get leads? Right? So there's marketing strategies to drive traffic to a lead capture page.
That's traffic. But how you get leads is by whether or not somebody converts. That's how you get a lead. Just because you got traffic doesn't mean you're going to get the lead. Everybody understand that?
You can buy all the traffic in the world, the wrong message, you won't get the lead. Okay? So, first thing we need to do is we need to identify your core strengths. And we're going to say that there's two, at a max. Okay?
Core strengths. Think that you can do. Now, these aren't the tangibles like marketing plan, Facebook ads, this and that. Go ahead, Lauren. Okay, let's talk about what a lead magnet is.
Thank you, sir. Yes. We did say glossary, right? Okay. So a lead magnet is specifically the thing that you are going to offer someone in exchange for their information.
Their email address, their phone number, their name. Right? It's a lead magnet because we are attracting them. Right? It's like a moth to a flame.
Right? They want to be attracted to this thing, which this thing is, we look at it as a lead capture page, right? And essentially, there is like a title up here, right, of some sort. And sometimes there's a video or an image here. And then over here, there's an opt-in.
Right? And then here, there is a submit button. Right? That's like the basis. So what happens is that the page does nothing without the information that's attracting the lead.
But let me go to the niche first. Right? So we're going to put this together real fast, like five minutes. It's not that hard. Okay.
Core strength. What do you know how to do? I know how to speak and I know how to train. That's it. Boom.
If I could spend 80% of my time doing nothing but that and everything else was outsourced, all the blogging, all the lead capture page building, all the email lists, whatever that is, all the extra, if I could get up in the morning and just do these two things and then go to sleep or go live my life, I would be absolutely happy. Right? Speaking and training. That's it. What would those things be for you?
Same thing? Speaking and training for you? Okay. What would it be for you? Same thing?
What would you say yours are? What is it? Teaching and coaching. It's kind of the same. So you are a teacher.
You can coach. And what else? And you don't have to have two. Look, the reality is that the most successful people on the planet have one, no more than two. Like Bill Gates, programming.
Like ideas and programming. Right? He's not doing nothing else when he got started. What he was doing. Mark Zuckerberg, same thing.
He found other people to do other things because that's what he knew how to do. He breathed that. Right? So what do you breathe? You breathe the teaching and the coaching.
And is there anything else? Doesn't have to be. No? Okay. Teaching and coaching.
Teaching, class, coaching. Got it. People at home, what are your core strengths? What do you like to do in your business? Let's remember, this is our business.
If you are frustrated getting up to do your business, that should be a clue. That you're not operating in your strengths. Right? Go ahead. Oh, Mike, can you pass the mic to him, please?
I guess I need help seeing what you mean. So let's say with my niche, we've identified the five things that I can do to help someone to reach that goal. So, you know, my past, I was a trainer. Well, trainer. Like I said, applications training.
I would help people know how to apply what they were learning to what they were doing. So training. Yes. But is that, does it have to be done? Like I'm trying to think of someone else that doesn't have the experience that I have.
You can make it hard or you can make it easy. Why are you trying to make it what it is? Well, because I'm actually, because I know for myself, but let's say that I'm helping someone. I'm not talking about anybody else. I'm talking about you.
Right. Well, those are my strengths. You're down the road on. Okay. Now the person's already in my weight training class or something.
And they want to, they want to know that like you're, you're down the road. You're already in the coaching class. Right. Or I'm thinking like when I recruit someone. Well, we're not there yet.
Okay. I'll just send them your product. Okay. I'm with you. So why would I give you my email?
What would you give me? I don't even know you, dude, but if I'm going to give you my email, a good email, what can I download for you now? This right here is about deliverability. This is not about what you're going to be teaching them. This is about the deliverability.
So what does, let me, let me bring this back for a little bit. So speaking and training, that means for me, I do better with the lead magnet than where I can speak, where I do a video, because I can communicate better in my core strength of speaking. If someone forced me to write the free report, I was, you understand what I'm saying? Because I'm not operating in my strength. What we know now is that I can take my video and transcribe it.
So I don't have a problem with having it in written form. It's just, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, it's not going to be the native form in which I create it. The native form would be a video. Right. And getting transcribed and then that's how you get that information.
But I can only do that confidently when I know that speaking is a core strength. Yeah. Because if speaking is not someone's core strength and I tried to force them to do a video, what would they do? Request me. Unless I could show them how to do it the way they used to do it.
Right. When Dave first got online, I mean, large members, he never showed his face. We didn't know who he was. He did like PowerPoint presentations that were three hours. That didn't start with Empower Network.
Dave always had that longevity in him from the jump. Right. And then people like me, I would try to model that and say, okay, well, he's not showing his face. I can do a PowerPoint and then I would hire myself out because I couldn't, that wasn't my thing, but I couldn't model it. But his strength obviously is speaking.
Okay. So basically, okay. So I've got, I've got my, I've identified my five things I can deliver to them. Now, you know, how am I going to deliver that? What is my core strength?
I don't think we should have, this shouldn't be a discussion. You don't think what? That we shouldn't be having this debate with you right now. We know that your character is, I mean, would you guys not agree with this? He is not shy to speak.
That's really what that is. If you're sitting there and you want to talk, you want to talk, but you're afraid to talk, then maybe, but that's not your issue. No, I'm an extrovert. Yeah. So that's it.
We're done. Okay. Well, you're welcome. Okay. Whoever was wondering, you're welcome.
You're speaking and you're training essentially because you brought that already. You said that in your past career, you taught people how to apply what they did or whatever they need to do. Okay. So that's it guys. Keep it simple.
You know what I'm saying? This is five minutes that we can sometimes make five years in a power network, right? And back and forth and back and forth and back and forth when it's just done. When you know what you bring to the table, you just bring that to the table. That make sense?
Okay. So now that you got your core strengths, you know what your deliverability is. That is how you're going to deliver the information here. Does it make it that much easier? So when people say, Oh, what's the best way?
The best way is to identify your core strength and whatever that core strength is aligned with the modality that's been here. So I can't tell somebody exactly how to do it. Right. Okay. So now you know how you're going to deliver this information, right?
Next thing we need to know is that number one thing that we picked before that number one problem that's going here. That's why it's number one problem. Right? So that's okay. So number one problem will be the content.
Everybody with me? Everybody at home, are you with me? Now, don't you really have five problems? Couldn't you come up with probably five more problems if you thought about it? Doesn't that mean you could create more than one lead magnet?
This is not locking you in because this is the only way you can get people in the door. We're just starting with the number one because it should be the easiest for you to get going. Okay, so you're speaking, you want to do a video, free video review, free video report, free video tutorial, something, right? And what did you say the number one problem was? I said, could be a pussy.
Definition. All right. So. I was like, is Tracy pregnant this week? And that's really, really fast.
So definition of a pussy, right? All right. So now, title. On the days of Mars. You see now how we're just moving right along, right?
Now we need a title for this thing. Really? In Denver? We could do. After Denver.
How to. Because this is Denver. Or is she just wearing a Denver shirt? One way. Right?
One formula. Another formula is. How to. X. Without.
Y. Another one could be. How to. X. Using.
Y. Or with Y. Five tips. To. How to.
X. And Y. Time. Just examples. Right?
Traffic people. With IDs. Fare. Models. Talking.
Through. About. X. The. Number one.
Thing. They. Don't. Want. You.
To know. About. X. Right? Plug and play.
Whatever resonates with you. Just example. Boom. That's my title. Right?
So. Definition of physique. Give me a title. For example. One of these.
One of these. Okay. So how to get that six pack abs. Specific. Result.
Right? How to get six pack abs. In. An hour or less. In seven minutes a day.
There you go. How to get six pack abs. In six minutes a day. I like odd numbers. But.
You get it. Whatever. Test it. So do them all. And test it.
That's the beauty of it. No one can say. I can't say. Your market will tell you. Okay?
So there you go. Right now. With that. We got this done. We did a few little bullet points.
Right? So. In this. How to get six pack abs. In.
Five minutes a day. You've been doing video before. What are they going to learn? My neighbor asked me to learn how to do that. What are they going to learn?
We will get 50 bucks. Over and over. Every week. Yeah. Three foods you should never eat.
We could do one a day. Huh? We'd have to have some marketing behind that though. It's got to be something specific. And if you go contrary to what the mind is thinking.
People already know exercise. But if you can tell them how to do it without exercise. But at the same time we have no kids to sleep in. Do you understand what I'm saying? So.
So. To go through the entire contact list. Carving out your ab without doing it. And it doesn't include crunches. Or something.
I don't know. Without cardio. Okay. So something without cardio. Right.
That's one thing they're going to learn. They're going to do it without cardio. They're going to do it with or without what? They're going to discover what? I know we're putting you on the spot.
I know we're putting you on the spot. Can you do it without crunches? Sit-ups. Can you do it without sit-ups? Okay.
No sit-ups. Without what? Oh, thank you. Yeah. So.
Six-pack abs with no effort. No, that's not it. That's vague. That's vague? No effort?
Look. I want six-pack abs without having to sit there and do 50 crunches. I want to wake up in the morning and go. That's what I want. That's what that person wants.
They want to eat McDonald's. Let's say they're doing a plank. Right. I don't want to say that. I'm trying to think of what describes it without actually saying it.
Well, go ahead. Grab the mic. In your situation, I would want to know what I can eat or not eat that would enhance or make my goal harder. Do you know what I'm saying? So, like, three things.
Oh, this is a few. Okay. Okay. They're just thinking. I would want to know without actually saying it.
I would want to be competitive. Oh, this is a few. Never to eat. Yes. Whoever got the most likes or whatever.
You want abs for life. Actually, do it by eating whatever you want. There we go. That's what I want. The person that looks like Homer doesn't want to do Jack.
Without changing too much. I had to watch my mouth for a second. By eating whatever you want. -huh. By eating whatever you want.
Great. Awesome. Perfect. Done. The lead character page is done.
Awesome. Are you done? Is the lead character page done? I think so. I think it's pretty attractive.
Right? You can look at either here or there at this point. You can look at any lead character page for those details. What we're trying to craft out is what your lead character page is going to say. Got it?
Got it. Everybody at home. Y'all got it. Okay. We've gone through this.
We've got the niche done. We've got the lead magnet done. One last thing real fast, and then I've got to go. Because Bonnie put up the timer. Okay?
Now this is what you're going to do. Because you're going to need to know this stuff when you start doing the actual marketing of this thing. Okay? You kind of need to know it beforehand. But really when you start marketing it.
Okay? Five minutes. Okay. Got it. So we've identified the niche.
Roughly. Right? We've identified the problem of the people in that niche. But now we need to know the exact target. Probably be cheaper.
or avatar. Like all meet in one city and then fly down? Right, exact. So now we're at male or female, right? So the first thing that we want to do is we want to look at the demographics of this person, right?
Demographics are things like gender, marital status, yearly income, educational level, things like that, right? But you need to decide. Now like if you're gonna do Facebook ads or something, you could choose male and female, right? But to me, the language that we came up with for your lead capture page is more masculine. That's just me, right?
So I probably would do men. And it's usually easier to do men because you are a man. Doesn't mean that you can't do women because my trainers are men. But if I get the point, right? So like I said, we want age, we want gender, we want marital status, yep.
Geography, we want, what did I say? Oh, income, education. That's the gist, okay? Next. Oops, sorry, that wrong.
Psychographic, okay? Psycho, psychology. Psychologically, what do people, what do they think, right? So like this is beliefs, right? What do they value?
What drives their decision-making, right? Influence, who influences them? We know the psychographic because if their dad is at home influencing them on the couch with a six-pack of beer, you're gonna have to work through that. You're gonna have, they're having a certain self-talk that you're gonna have to address in your material. You understand?
This is important. Do not skip this. And the last thing is sociographic, right? So socially, like hobbies, what do they like to do? Interests, yes.
Affiliations, are they a part of any affiliation? Are they a part of any groups, clubs, PTA, sorority, Divers Association, President of Divers Association, right? What do these people do? They golf, activities, right? Socially, thank you.
Socially, what are they doing? How do they spend their time, right? If this guy's lazy, don't have a tough time. Don't want the lazy guy. Not trying to target the lazy guy.
You're not gonna convince the lazy guy to not be lazy. What you can do is work with a person who actually has probably started, has a membership, and that kind of goes every now and again, but falls off track. You find yourself getting motivated, going to the gym, a couple sessions, and then falling off, not going back. I know why that happened. Happened to me too.
It's that guy, not the guy that's like, yeah, it looks good. They're not gonna buy anything. They already bought the gym membership. They would buy with your fella, okay? All right, so then once you've got this, I want you to give this person a name, a real name, like Bob, Susan, Homer, Chiquita, Tammy, right?
Give them a name. My avatar's name is Violet. Violet. Violet is a college grad that works corporate America. She's successful in corporate America.
She has children. She's very active in her children's things that they have to do. She's on the PCA. She goes to school. She does that regularly.
She's a part of sorority. She loves swimming. She loves dance. She loves helping other people, but she doesn't feel fulfilled. She makes good money.
She's good. She's not broke. She's good in corporate, but she's not happy. So Violet wants to transition from corporate to entrepreneurship. So when I talk, I'm talking to Violet.
I'm not talking to the group of people that could be Violet. I'm talking directly to Violet. I have to know Violet very well. So it's easy for me to talk to her because I know her. Intimately, I know her, right?
So I know her pain. I know her struggles. I couldn't be talking to Violet and say from on camera and literally going to have tears, right? Because I know her. So this is the thing.
If you don't know who, then your lead magnet and everything that comes behind that won't really be impacted. The energy will be a weak energy. It won't be that powerhouse energy. So when you give your value, you've got to give your value, right? Whatever that lead magnet is, the how to get six-pack abs in five minutes a day, like you got to bring it.
You got to bring it because it's free and that's really what it is. It's like, hey, you create this one time, you got to keep creating it. Who cares? You're just generating leads. This is how you generate leads.
Everybody get it. At home, this is how you generate leads. I don't want to hear how do I generate leads. Everybody should know how to generate leads. You create something that somebody gives a darn about and solve their problem and I'll give them an offer, opportunity to get it from you.
And when they make that exchange, there's your lead. They get your stuff. And that's the basis of it, right? Now we can go into a whole another level where I could teach you some other stuff on what happens after they opt in, what they see, but we don't have time for that. But you got that.
You can at least get the lead, right? So people want to get the lead and we know who they're going to talk to, their target market, what they can do, right? How to do all that stuff. You got to feel like we got that done. You feel good about that.
All right. At home, is there any feedback from people at home on reference? I know we're a little bit of a delay, but if there's some feedback from people at home, then that would do my heart good. And then, I think I went through all this stuff. I did.
I went through everything. I can't remember what in my head. Yes, Nicole, can we get the mic for her please? Right now, the feedback from home is awesome job, Tracy. That seems to be the general consensus right now.
Okay, thank you very much. All right, so I think that my job has been done, right? And my intention was to have you walk away with something tangible, right? And I believe that we did that. So I'm happy.
I'm going to now turn this back over to Mr. William Wood so that we can start the party.
