Just life lessons that you're going to learn here to take every part of your family, your relationships, your business to the next level. So we're going to rock and roll. This conference is being recorded.

Hello, friends. This is Toby, one part of Toby and Layla, part of Team Take Massive Action. Coming to you from up here in beautiful Canada. That's kind of cool today.

And over the next hour or so, there's going to be some information shared that could spark the one thing that you needed to hear, the one thing that you needed to feel in order for you to go out there and create that lifestyle that you want inside the Empower Network. So welcome to the Empower Hour call every Monday night at 9 p.m. Eastern. They have never missed a call. Even when there was Christmas.

Even when New Year was happening. Even when Dave and Dave were sick. Even though they were traveling all over the world. Even though all these different elements happened and were happening, the person with Toma written in their notebook, in their desk, was a person that implemented that strategy immediately.

Tonight. Right now. I want you to go into your back office. If you don't have the inner circle, I want you to go into your back office.

Log in. Buy the products. And before the night's over, I want you to have every single MP3 downloaded onto your iPad, onto your MP3, so that you have your mobile university, your mobile Toma tonight. Immediately. Everybody asks, you know, what's the secret?

What's the secret? How did Toby and Layla go from living in the basement of a bar to just blowing it up? What did they do? We took massive action immediately. When we learned something, when one of the leaders on stage would give us a tip or give us a strategy, we would write it down, we would go home, we would implement it that night.

Video about it in the morning. We'd cut a video about our results. And people saw us taking massive action. There's a young couple. And when I first met them in San Diego, I didn't know them.

Many of you know them now, Kat and Romeo, because they're living in Costa Rica, living the lifestyle of their dreams. But when I met them in San Diego, I didn't know them. They walked up to us and they said, Toby and Layla, we're in your team. And we hugged them and we cut a video and they said, you know what, we're going to blow this up. We're going to do it.

And what did they do when they got home? They took massive action. I saw them everywhere. I saw them creating so much content, hangouts every night, giving value, sharing their story, sharing their vision, sharing their purpose. And when it came time for Austin, guess what?

There they were. And now you look at them, they're able to move to Costa Rica, live on the beach, wake up every single day together in the life of their dreams. How did that happen? Did they learn some magic trick from us?

Yeah. They took massive action. It's a secret, guys. But it's not massive action tomorrow. It's not massive action next week.

It's not massive action when you're ready, when you've got it all planned out and perfect. It's massive action now. So whatever you need to do, the first thing on your hit list is to reprogram your brain. And you have the best brain reprogramming tool you've ever had in your life.

It's called the Inner Circle. So I want you to log in right now. If there's one thing I could leave you with, the Inner Circle will change your life. So that's my piece. I had so many people asking me about the Toma, about the top of mind awareness.

So definitely implement that tonight. Move that CD player to your bathroom and start listening. Listen to your audios in the shower. Start listening to them when you're walking your dog. Every aspect of your life.

Thank you so much, guys. It's crazy. I'm passing this phone over to a man that I admire, a man that I adore, that has honestly brought out inside of me. Does that sound right? He's laughing at me now.

I'm going to pass the phone over. Incredible husband, Toby Black. Thanks, guys. Awesome, babe. And the first thing I want to jump on is piggybacking on what Layla's talking about, how from where you're at right now, just starting out or just beginning to blog or getting 5, 10 leads a day or getting 20 leads a day or making a few thousand a month, where you are right now to where you want to be, whatever that dream goal is for you, it's not that far away.

It's not a full 180-degree transformation that you have to do. It's one little shift. And if anybody's been plugging into the ENTV episodes every night, Monday to Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern, you'll be looking at the incredible content, some funny-ass outtakes from Dave and Dave. But one thing.

One thing that Wood and Sharp were both talking about in one of the episodes was life transformation and life changes happens in an instant. It doesn't happen in weeks. It doesn't happen in months. Yes, sometimes it may take time to fully get there, but that change and that transformation, that spark happened in a moment. It happened in a moment.

It happened in a moment. And for a lot of people, the Monday night power hour call, that moment has happened where they've shifted, where they've taken that one little turn, that one degree, that one shift, and because they're laser-focused, because they have that belief, they go out and take massive action, and they end up getting the results. You don't have to be the biggest guru that knows all the great traffic strategies or knows how to generate thousands of leads a day and knows the best solo ads and the blah, blah, blah. You don't have to. You don't have to.

You don't have to do that. Something that Layla does all the time so well and teaches our students and team members so well with Team Take Massive Action is telling your story, understanding that all the power that you need to be successful, everything that you need in your toolbox you have right now, everything that you need to be successful, to be powerful, is right between your ears right now. It's in your chest and your heart. It's in your heart right now. That's why the trainings inside the Empower Network are crucial, critical, and everybody in the world should be hearing them and listening to them because it's the fastest way to bring out the light inside of us.

It's the fastest way to unleash the power within us. It's the fastest way to truly tap into. Think of the Empower Network products as the secret code, to unlock everything you've ever wanted in life and everything that your family's ever wanted in life. It is the code. It's the code to the padlock.

It's putting gasoline on the fire. We have something truly powerful here with the Empower Network. It's not a company. It's not an affiliate deal. It is an absolute badass movement and experience because it's being led with confidence.

It's 100% conviction and belief. That's what I'm going to move into here in this next part of the call is talking about how you can transition that one little degree of being the person who's brand new, being the person who's not really sure of themselves into that person who has 100% conviction and belief and what they're doing is the right thing for them, for their family, and everybody around them. I want you to think about for a second a time in your life, maybe Christmas, if you celebrate Christmas, maybe your birthday, maybe when your kids were born, maybe your wedding, maybe when you had everybody over for a family day, which we had today up here in Canada, maybe it was a party, maybe it was something you did, but something in your life where you felt truly happy, truly joyful, truly blessed, truly fulfilled. I want you to think of that moment right now, and then I want you to, in your mind's eye, picture yourself. Come outside of your body and look at yourself.

Whatever that moment was for you and is for you, think about the surroundings that were going on when that moment happened. What could you hear? Was there music playing? Was there kids running around? Were you at the ocean?

What was going on? I want you to picture that right now. Now that you have that picture in your brain, I want you to double-click that picture, like on your computer, and enlarge it 10 times. I want you to click it again and enlarge it 10 times more. I want you to go to that moment right now, and if you're hearing or have that feeling inside of you in your chest, I want you to expand that feeling 10 times.

I want you to blow it up and picture a volcano exploding. So that feeling is so powerful right now. For me, I can think back to being on stage. I can think back to being on stage in Austin a couple of months ago, and Layla and I were in our total mojo, total flow, totally in the game, sharing the value that we've learned over the past few years. I could hear everybody clapping and the crowd going crazy.

I could see the tears running down people's eyes, running down their face. I could see the joy in people's faces. I could see the appreciation, and I felt this is where I'm supposed to be. That was my moment. So whatever your moment is right now, I want you to think about it and feel it and understand that you have the power to create that feeling any time that you want in your life.

Now, right now, you're feeling so fulfilled, so happy, so joyful, so excited, so confident, filled with such belief, you will run out from this Empower Hour call and go take that feeling into action. Maybe you'll cut a blog post. Maybe you'll shoot a video. Maybe you'll put an ad up.

Maybe you'll pick up the phone and put someone in the business. Maybe you'll get your two people a day today, right now. Maybe you'll get your ticket to the event. And because you have that great feeling, that passion, that inspiration, that joyful feeling inside your production and your business, the action that you take is directly connected to that feeling. Let's say that's the goal for this theory.

How do you do that? Well, all of the 15K products, and the master's product lays out exactly what 10K, 30K, 100K, 200K a month action takers do. That's one thing you obviously have to buy those courses to know exactly the strategy to do. But then the most important thing is go out and take the action with 100% conviction on how to do that. No matter where you are in your business right now, no matter where you are in your life, if you take a second to...

Go inside the power of awareness of how you saw times in your life. Go to those times in your life that made you truly happy. Go to those times in your life that have made you truly blessed and privileged to be alive and grateful, passion, inspiration inside of you. Now it's time to crank on the camera. Now it's time to crank on the computer.

Now it's time to pick up the phone, and you'll be working like a person who's on fire. It's not about the how-tos of blogging. It's not about the how-tos of SEO or PPC or solo ads. It's not about any of that.

It's about what, Kirstie? It's about Craig. It's about John. It's about Dave. It's about Lawrence.

It's about Layla. It's about Chuck. It's about Chris. It's about Arthur. What is their true passion and purpose for doing the business every day?

That's what you have in front of you. That's what you feel. That's what you live for. Because when that is what you're thinking about daily, you will run through a wall. You will walk.

You will pick up cars. You will do superhuman things because you are fueled with that purpose of why you are on this planet. It doesn't have to be just in Empower. It doesn't have to be just on the internet.

It doesn't have to be in marketing. It can be anywhere in life. You see that person is living in passion, living in purpose, living, and then become that person. They become that person first, and then they get to that position. And again, I'll tie it right back.

No matter where you are in the world, no matter where you are in your life, no matter where you are financially, you can create how you want to feel in any second of the day. I'm going to turn it in for the night. I'm not going to take any other action. Well, that's how you feel. Why not take a second?

Why not take 30 seconds? Why not take a minute and sit and think about the things in your life that you're truly passionate about? Think about why you're doing what you're doing. You're truly living on purpose. I'm excited to go out there and take massive action and get the things that you need done in the day in order to be successful.

Now that you know that you can muster up that power, now that you know that you can take advantage of what's between your ears, you don't need anybody else. You don't need anybody else to tell you your power every single day. You have it within you. Guys, from Toby and Layla and Team Take Massive Action, thanks Dave and Dave and Lawrence for letting us come out here. We're going to come out here and share some pure value.

We love you. Now I get the true privilege to introduce to you guys a guy that everybody knows in the community, Mr. Lawrence Tam, and he's the reason that not only Layla and I are here inside Empower, but a lot of people are here and changing lives together inside the Empower Network. And guess where we met Lawrence Tam? That's the beauty of this industry, guys.

Lawrence, Layla, and I had never worked together. We had been in many different systems and companies, but never in the direct line, never even in the same team. We just knew each other. We were like mutual friends from different people. Developed a good relationship.

Even though he wasn't making money from us, even though we weren't making money from him, we developed a genuine good relationship. And when the time was right, it was time for us to all work together. Because of that, we have done and will go on to change thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people's lives, together, by doing so from that partnership. So even though you might meet some people who don't join your business or aren't in your business yet, remember, treat people how you want to be treated. Strike up that genuine relationship.

Be you, and you never know what will prosper from just being genuine and being yourself to people exactly how you want to be done to you. So without further ado, we want to bring our main man, the no longer frugal Asian, Mr. Lawrence Tam. Lawrence Tam, you there, my man? Hey, Lawrence is here.

Can you hear me? Awesome, man. Awesome. I was taking some notes, Layla talking about degrees. I was like, ah, just a small degree, and talking about Toma.

That's some high-level stuff, stuff you'll never really see on a corporate level in any other business, direct selling, any type of business actually. Why? Like we actually want to teach you something that you can take on for years, for years on end, building any type of business you want to build. And so... This is funny.

That frugal Asian thing, I don't know where that came from until Sharp showed me, he showed me one of his capture pages, and it said how this frugal Asian got laid off and told his boss to screw off, I'm going to Vegas or something. It was something ridiculous, and I guess it kind of caught on. And it kind of makes sense because in my own world, that's just normal. Like what is normal for me? All right, don't laugh.

This is serious. We're serious talking now. We would take a paper towel. We would tear the paper towel off to one section. This is a normal size section.

I would say it's about a foot by foot maybe, or maybe 10 inches by 10 inches. And we would physically rip that in fours or in halves. And then I'm like, oh, you need a napkin? I would rip that paper towel, I'd rip it in half, and just give it to my daughter. Here, wipe your mouth.

You know what I mean? And she did this last week. We're having dinner, and I don't know, I was having a salad, of course. I'm trying to cut some weight and eat better because I want to serve you guys better. And she goes, here, Dad.

And she took the paper towel, and she ripped it in half. And I'm thinking about this. I'm like, wow, only a couple months ago, that was acceptable. You know? So maybe that's you.

And I'm not — I was never poor. I want to let you know, I've never been poor. It would be hard for me to ever go through my history and say Lawrence was the guy who lived in the van. No. I mean, I came up from a normal upbringing.

My dad was, you know, he has a master's in architecture. My mom's been in real estate forever. All my uncles and aunts have PhDs and masters. My whole family went to the University of Texas. My little sister is in dental school at the University of Texas.

I graduated with a mechanical engineering degree with a bachelor's from the University of Texas, Hook 'em. So that's just what I knew. That was my universe. That's all I was told, Lawrence. Or my dad — this is kind of funny.

I don't think I've ever told anybody this. They don't call me Lawrence. Like, up until I graduated, I was always the second child. Like, I had an older brother and younger sister. And they would say, Day-Day.

That was my name. Like, if you're Asian and you have multiple siblings, you know what I mean. You get these nicknames, right? I was Day-Day. And my brother, my older brother, four years older, he was Da-Da.

Right? It's like older brother, younger brother. And up until — I mean, I was playing football. I was 215. I thought I was pretty ripped.

And they would still call me Day-Day because in their eyes, they still saw me as a young child. That's all I knew. That was the environment I was groomed on. Until I got older, I graduated, became an engineer. Then they started calling me Lawrence.

I thought that was kind of interesting. I never really, like, understood how that — that's kind of where we want to get you. A lot of you are kind of newborns in marketing, in direct selling business, in being your own boss. And since everyone comes into this industry at a different level, we want to speak to you not like one size fits all because everyone comes in differently. So I want you to realize some of us come in with no money.

Right? Some of us come in with money. And then some of us come in with a family. Some of us come in with baggage. Just to let you know, everyone has a story that they had to overcome to get where they wanted to go.

Everyone. So if you're telling yourself right now, well, I can't make what Lawrence makes because, you know, he's been doing it for a couple years now part-time. And he's smart because he's a mechanical engineer. Those are just excuses. I did not even graduate top 10% of my class in Alief Hastings High School.

If you looked at that high school, you would be shocked that I didn't graduate top 10%. I'm kind of shocked. I got a D in Spanish. Still to this day, I'm pissed. I'm pissed off that she gave me a D in Spanish, but that basically knocked me out of top 10%.

Think about this. A guy who did not even graduate top 10%, I tried to get into University of Texas at Austin as an engineer. They said no. They said no. But it's kind of like that T-shirt.

I don't know if you've seen it. It's like this seagull, and it's eating a frog. Right? And it's about to swallow the whole frog, except the frog reaches his arms outside. The frog is inside the seagull's mouth and starts to choke him and go, never give up.

Even before the defeat, the frog is like, I ain't going down like a chump. Right? So I'm going to college, and I'm like, crap, I can't get into engineering school, and everyone thinks I'll either be a doctor or an engineer. So I went in as a biochemist, got accepted. Before the first class went in, I devised a plan to backdoor into mechanical engineering.

I took another application, was actually transferred before the first day. And see, it was just being resourceful. And see, these little things in my life prepared me for marketing. I truly believe the reason you are where you are right now, is because that's where you need to be right now. It's kind of hard to say for some people who go, man, I'm in really bad financial dire straits.

My health is bad, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Bigger picture, I truly believe you are where you need to be right now, just right now. But you can change the future once you decide to take the massive action necessary. Layla talked about having a degree off. You might be a degree off.

Now, I like to paint a picture of a rocket. If a rocket was to go to the moon, that rocket will fire at the moon. But do you know how many corrections it makes just by minor degrees? Because it's always trying to correct itself back into the moon. So when it goes from Earth to the moon, it changes direction, course.

It thrusters a fire here and there, bounces itself to get to the moon. So many things have to happen for it to go straight, what seems like to us, straight to the moon. And this is why a lot of us aren't rocket scientists because it's that difficult. Now, the good thing for you is you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do what we do in Empower Network, which is what I like to label the freedom model, right? You don't have to do that.

But we do want you to understand there will be bumps in the road. Has to be because everyone's different. I don't know where you're coming from. Your direction could be different than where the next person next to you is. But if the understanding is this, you're point A, there's a point B.

Some of you will take a whole bunch of time because you're not focused. You're not listening to inner circles. You're not taking the time. You're not doing your business seriously and you're treating it like a hobby so you're being paid like a hobby. Some of you are taking it like a serious business.

Go all in. Listen to an inner circle daily and emulate everyone you can and also being present in everything that you can. Monday calls, events, 15K webinars on Thursday. See, it's like, it's funny because people tell me, Lawrence, how did you do what you did? I go, I was at everything.

Seriously. It's like, you put yourself out to the universe. You go, there is no hiding the fact that I want to be successful doing this. I was not the undercover marketer. I was not the undercover, I-win-a-make-10-a-month guy.

I was the guy that blatantly said, this is what I want to do, this is what I'm learning, this is why I listen to audios instead of music in my car. Because I made a direct action to going where I want to go. And a lot of you make decisions that don't back up where you really want to go. And that's really a factor of what your why is. That's all it is.

It's a factor of what your why is. If your why for building your business, and in Empower, is to say, I want a new puppy. I would really like a new puppy. Or maybe your why is, I would really, really like a big screen TV in my second living room. You see, that person will quit much faster than the person like myself who goes, I never want to see my kids in a daycare because of necessity.

Now think about that. If you're a dad, or if you're a mom, think about this. Why do you want your kids to go to daycare? Of course you don't. Of course you don't.

If money was no object, you would have personal daycare, or basically a nanny at your house, or a personal tutor at your house in your own classroom, if money was no object. I decided I never wanted my kids to do that. So the first step was, I need to retire my wife, as fast as possible. As fast as possible. Going to school is one thing.

Going to a secondary daycare because the parents couldn't come home early enough to pick them up from school, I grew up like that. Why? Because my parents didn't come from here. They're from Hong Kong, right? And they knew, look, if they were going to have a way for us kids to have a better life, they were going to have to bust their butt, make a ton of money, and they did that in the restaurant business, in real estate, in architecture, interior design.

But see, I was at daycares. I was at these summer camps. I had maids and nannies and stuff. As times went better, I'm like, you know what? Going to daycare sucks.

I don't ever want to go to daycare. You know what I mean? So I took that experience, I used it as fuel, and I go, I don't want my wife, who makes more money than I did — did, not anymore, okay, but did — I don't want her to have to do that. And what's even crazier, when we got married, I was unemployed. How does that look?

When we got married, I was unemployed, didn't have a job, didn't have a job for 18 months, driving my wife to school, and my job was to clean the apartment and walk the dog and make sure he's happy. That was my job. So I reflect on that and I go, man, I bet you a lot of people right now have either been through that or are in that right now, and they need to make a decision to go from point A to point B. Point A to point B. So what is the vehicle that you need to do to go from point A to point B?

Some of you know what point B is vividly. Like, you could paint a picture, paint my point B as not having my kids go to daycare. I can paint that picture real quick. And I want to challenge you right now, because there's so many of you right now that have a monetary goal, and I think that's not the right goal for you. And here's what I mean.

Money is not the real goal. It's what the money provides you is the goal. By me making more money, I can retire my wife and then eventually retire myself, which then means we are then the highest paid parents staying at home taking care of our kids, right? That's what we wanted. We wanted to take care of our own kids.

That was one of my main goals. So if your main goal is to make sure your parents never see secondary or subpar nursing homes, guess what you got to do? You got to make sure from point A to point B that whatever it takes, whatever it takes, because if it's money, what if 10K isn't enough to afford some high-end nursing homes? Or in-home care? It might be way more than 10K.

So don't put a number on where you want to go. Just put a vision, a picture, a painting, something so vivid that it would make you cry. Think about it. Now some of us have multiple whys, and the way we find this out is because we start to dream. Dream, I'm serious.

You need to seriously start to dream. Now what does it mean by dream? Like dream when you sleep? Sure. Some of us have nightmares, so let's not go there unless you're really good about your dreams, right?

I say dreams need to be things that, when you were a kid, what did you really want to do? Seriously. Some of you are profession-driven. Cool. Awesome.

Some of you are just looking for love, sometimes in the wrong places. But that's cool too, you know what I mean? But take yourself back before all the bull crap. What did you really want to do, and let's dream. Here's what happened, I believe, in most people's story.

They go to high school, many of your dreams are crushed because you were told you weren't good enough, you're not going to make enough money, your grades suck, there's no way you'll be president, forget about flying to the moon, there's no way you can achieve that, yada, yada, yada, yada. Then some of them go to college, and then we're going through college, and then we're being told what's coming out. Oh, Lawrence, you're a mechanical engineer? Guess what I got? $50,500 coming out, working for a semi-executive company.

That's where my dreams instantly vanished. They just straight up went poof. It was gone. Not going to happen. Wasn't going to happen.

So I want you to dream because these dreams will be your why. One of my dreams, seriously, which was a why, was to have my... See, my dad... Okay, I'm not going to just globally say across the board, but Cantonese down in Houston, let's just put it that way, okay? Cantonese people we roll with, we're all about the money.

That's like money or education. I don't know where that came from. Maybe it's just my family, the Tam family, but they will rub that in your face. Hey, son. You know that guy over there?

Yeah, our friend. Yeah, yeah, I know him. Yeah, yeah. He has a son. He's a doctor.

Oh, that's cool. No, he's a doctor. Dad, why are you busting my chops? You know what I mean? And like, I didn't get national honors, or I didn't graduate salutatorian.

I didn't graduate top 10%. The whole family, top 10. Not 10%, top 10 graduating class. I'm like, oh, dad. And they would compare us all the time to our cousins who were just ridiculously smart, like giant brains, right?

But that's cool. You know why? My dad showed me you should never satisfy yourself being satisfactory. And I get this now. Maybe his methods were a little unorthodox, but I get it.

And you know what? Deep down, after all of that, it was just childhood being like, hey, man, look at this guy, look at that guy. They were just showing me something that I could become. Showing me that guy is not much better than you, or this guy definitely is not smarter than you. You can do better.

And so we have this saying, you know, in Cantonese, it's about using your mind. So if I do some boneheaded move, you know, it means use your brain, right? And it's kind of sarcastic in a way, but not really. It's like, dude, you just left the keys inside the car. Use your mind.

You know what I mean? And so my dad had all these trainings. And over time, I just didn't get it. And it all came back to making me better using my mind. And after all of that, it built up that I wanted to show my dad that he could be proud of a second son who never became a doctor, right?

It's always money or prestige. Money, doctor. Doctor, prestigious. And I did that by putting it out there into the universe. Look, I don't know how I'm going to do it.

Security is one thing. He was happy I was secure. But he would never go and pimp my story to his friends. Have you seen my son Lawrence? This dude is X, Y, and Z.

Oh, you know my son Lawrence? He runs an oil and gas company. It's awesome. But then his friends' sons are dentists, neurologists. They own a construction firm.

And so I came to grips with that. And I want you to figure out where you want to go because that one degree, by you not tapping into these inner circles on a daily basis, see, when you start off one degree off, just one degree, and you go 1,000 miles, you are so far off from where you need to be. I'm talking so far off. Those nerds out there who love geometry know exactly what I'm talking about. Take your trajectory, change it by one degree, and just have that magnitude go all the way out there.

You're doomed. Your distance between where you wanted to be and where you are now is huge because of one degree. So a lot of you go, tell me the secret and tell me what I have to do. Tell me what I have to do. And I'm going to tell you that is not where you will make your money.

And a lot of you go, Lawrence, stop BSing me. Just tell me exactly how you do it. And I'm going to tell you that, again, that is not where your money will eventually be made. Now what does that mean? That means if I told you exactly what I did today, in two years' time, it could change.

Why? Because I'm always evolving. This is my business. I'm always going to get better, always changing. So if I tell you something today, you've got to take it understanding that it's only probably good for today.

Maybe in the future, maybe. But I would rather teach you something else besides a specific detail or fact. Now what is that? It is not the minute details, the specifics of what you're trying to develop, not the little traffic sources, not the little tweak in HTML, not the color in your font.

That does not make you the money. What makes you the money is moving with authority as fast as you can. And I like to sum it up as taking some freaking massive action. That's it. That is it.

By doing that, it solves so much. Solves so much. Like, tell me, is this the correct fishing line? Is this the lure? Is this the hook?

No. Massive action. I will give you an example of this story. Okay, because I know I always like talking about the man who fishes. You teach a man to fish or you give the man a fish, right?

Well, put it this way. There's a person right now who has a fishing hook and they're thinking, look, if I want to catch this fish, just tell me the line, where to fish, the exact hook, and the bait, when I should do it, how I should pull it up, the speed I should reel it in, and I'm going to make it happen. So you're thinking, yeah, that sounds about right. Because in life, that seems about right. That's the direction, the map, the direction to our success.

So that person does everything you tell them to do. Bam, they go down, grab one fish. And I'm thinking about this. I'm going, that could be true if you're doing a selling model that's on the phone one person at a time. I don't do that, right?

I don't slave on the phone. And so when I look at this story with one person with one fishing hook that is directly connected to one person, one fish, I teach the person, throw out 100 lines. I like to call it a shotgun approach. What does a shotgun approach prove? It proves something is going to hit and then you decide where you spend your time.

But that shotgun approach is never really used on a phone. Why? Because phones are one on one unless you're teaching to a leveraged group. Leveraged, use tools to leverage. Here's a quote you can put.

I don't know actually who said this, but it stuck with me for so long. You want to use tools to develop your business. Don't be the tool. Okay, seriously. Use tools.

Don't be the tool. Use the capture pages. Use the selling power of David Wood on video. Use the compensation plan.

Those of you who are trying to rewrite the book and trying to reinvent the wheel, fantastic if you are at that level. But if you have watched the master's course, you know for a fact where you are, and if that is where you need to be, 95% of you should not be there. Some of you should just stick to the plan and do what we do, which is so simple: two customer sales a day will keep you happy all day. I'm serious. We will look at numbers.

I like numbers. We will do some numbers too. Just really focus on that. You don't have to do all this other crazy stuff. For some of you, actually my team and my prospects — I would say I attract 75% or so, or above, of people who have engineering degrees, or degrees in general, who went to college or who have attempted to go to college.

And here's what I say. Most of you go to college and are told, look, the only way you can make money is either being a TA, working as an intern, or working some side gig. But really, if you want to do your serious main profession, you're probably thinking about four years, four years of living like a student and not really making the money you want to make, four years. I love college. Why?

Because it makes you a better person because you're forced to learn because you're on a timetable. To a certain extent — I can't see you, but raise your hand if you ever had to cram for a test, a paper, or a project. I'm raising my hand right now because I do it all the time. Why? Why do we cram?

Because we have hard deadlines. A lot of you run your business with no deadline, and that's why you don't move because you feel like tomorrow is given to you. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. I'm just going to let you know. So you do what you need to do today to drive the business forward, which is two customers at $25.

$25. That's it, two customers. That's all we focus on because I believe, and we believe as a leadership crew and as a company, if you focus on that, the numbers will work out. The numbers will work out in your favor by focusing on where you want to go, driving as hard as you can, and taking massive action. Now, I want to give you a preview because I like previews because some of you probably just joined today.

Some of you are a guest. Some of you have been watching and listening to our Monday calls for a long time. The company is a little over a year old, but check this out, okay? Here is something you can look forward to, all right? If you just focus on two a day, just focus on two.

Two a day, here's what happens. Income disclosure, I'm going to say this outright. These numbers are not typical. These are my personal numbers, and there's no guarantee if you get two a day it will happen, but I think it will actually be more.

And here's what happened. Yesterday was Sunday. In a 24-hour period, I was not on the phone one time, didn't do one email. Actually, I think I was only on Facebook like four or five times, posting some things up later on in the night. Just posting, like, new masters people, but why was I doing that?

I had five people come in at the masters level on Sunday. That's $15,000. How do you do that if you're grinding on the phone, if you're doing things that are not leveraged because you're not using the system the way it's supposed to be? Send them back into the coaching.empowernetwork.com call. Get your team into the inner circle.

That is where the money's at. Why? Because if you can help someone build a rock-solid foundation in their mind, they can eat for an eternity. I'm serious. Eating physically or spiritually, it's in the mind.

It is in the mind. Okay? Now, these numbers haven't been recalculated. These numbers were compiled maybe, I don't know, maybe four or five weeks ago. Okay?

So they might be a little bit off now that I've had so many more masters come in. How does that help you in the future? Here's just a little snippet. Some of you who are really good with numbers will really dive into this. If you're not good with numbers, just write it down and revisit it later.

When you look at it, you go, oh, that's what Lawrence was talking about. I want to talk to you about lifetime value. This is something we teach in the 15K, but I want to give you a nugget.

Okay? Just something to prove that if you do what we tell you to do, you will make money. Okay? So, in most businesses, you're supposed to calculate what your lifetime value is or the worth of your customers because if you can figure out what your customer's worth, you can then decide how much you want to spend on advertising to acquire a new customer, customer acquisition, all right? So, I remember watching this or reading about this in college.

They were talking about Time Warner or Comcast. It was Time Warner here, Roadrunner. Time Warner here. They would spend like four times. I don't know the exact number, but four times the amount of what a customer would pay to come in.

So, if an average customer came in paying like $100, they would spend $400 to acquire a new customer. Now, if you're looking at it from a business perspective, if you're looking at a strict analysis, you would think the company lost like $300 immediately. Immediately. Why? Because you spent $400, but you only got $100 back.

Oh, you're losing. Not really. Why? They look at the lifetime value of that customer. That customer could buy in pay-per-views, can be shown to their friends, can be upgraded to different packages, and they pay on a monthly basis.

And they pay for hardware, right? So, that customer, who first came in for $100 bucks, they have a number where it will come in and then say two, three, or four months, they go, oh, we bought — even an average across thousands of their customers. They know what they are willing to spend to acquire a new customer. Now, why is this important to you when you're in business?

And when you're in business, you want the upper hand. What is the upper hand? This is some high-level stuff right now. This is stuff we teach in the master's, but if you don't get it, write it down. It'll make more sense later.

If you can outspend your competition to acquire a new customer, you will win all day long if you know your numbers, okay? Think about that, right? Think about that. I mean, let's say, you know, this is like real estate. If you know what you're averaging, you're going to figure out what you make per prospect.

You could break it down to that number. You know what you're willing to spend to acquire it and how much margin you're going to take down for profit, all right? Simple stuff. Simple stuff. So, here's my number about four weeks ago.

My assistant compiled it for me, and I believe she said it was, every time, in a one-year span — remember, I've been in Empower — that one customer over a year? That's probably worth around $915.

So, let me repeat this equation, okay? Some of you, like myself, like equations. In a one-year duration, because we actually have a residual. So, if you're in a network marketing company and you're listening to this, yes, we have a residual income in Empower. A $25 customer comes in into our marketing funnel system, okay?

Everyone gets the same system. You actually bought the system. When you come in as a blogging customer, awesome, right? As long as you pay your affiliate fee, you can then make 100% commissions on those. It's pretty gangster if you ask me, but when Lawrence brings in — this is just numbers you can base it on —

When Lawrence brings in a $25 customer, in about a year's time, that customer, on average, is worth about $915 to him. Just think about that. So, if I were to round up, $1,000. If I'm bringing in two people a day, I'm anticipating in a year, those two customers are worth $2,000 in a day for me.

I've done more than double that. Why? Because the system works. Don't reinvent the wheel on things that work. Bring in two customers.

Listen to me. Listen to the inner circle. Wash out the bad marketing advice, all that junk in your mind that people are telling you — you're not worth more than $50 an hour. There's no way you'll amount to anything. It's impossible to make money on the Internet.

Maybe it's your upline. Your company is telling you there is no way a company is sustainable on the Internet. Or maybe they're saying, hey, there's no such thing as Internet marketing residual. I say poo-poo on that. Why?

I'm living proof it works. There's a whole bunch of us that make a whole lot of money in Empower, and what we do is change in the world what people believe you can do from home. If a blind person can do it, if a person who is so bed-stricken they can't get on an airplane can do it, if this frugal Asian can do it, I truly believe deep down, if we just get to your why and give you the view of what Empower Network is, and you finally believe it, it will happen. Why? You'll take action.

You will take action. I am going to say it again, you will take action. And if you follow the eight core steps, one of the core steps is blog daily. And if you know your why, and it will make you cry, you will do the eight core steps as fast and as many times as you can on a daily basis, as many as you can. Instead of blogging once, blog five times.

Instead of marketing daily for an hour, market two hours a day. You see what I'm saying? It will get to a point where you see it, you understand it, and you'll go, look, the more I do as a marketer, the more marketing material I put out there, that's more data for me to go through. Do you get it? It's more data for you to reanalyze, is this how I'm working?

Do I need to recalculate my rocket to come back one degree? You won't know that if you never lift it off. And some of you haven't lifted off. And you have it, and that's why you don't have it. We want you to take your first step forward and crank like there is no tomorrow.

Some of you go, well, Lawrence, I see you on Facebook. I see you're not working. You didn't see when I crank. And when I crank, I will put it up to anybody, everybody else on this call — there's over thousands of people on this line — I put it to the challenge to see if you can crank to my level.

Why? Because when it's game time, I put my game face on, like Layla says, it's beast mode time, and we crank. Why? Because our why is strong enough. Our why is strong enough.

And do you get it? I believe once you get it, you're not going to ask the question, tell me the secret, what is the little thing you do? What you're going to do is start putting in two customers, and you're going to stop training them like you're the guru marketer because you're not. And that's okay. We love you the same.

We accept you. Put them into the system. Have them go in and upgrade to the inner circle so they can be trained by multiple leaders who make a lot of money in our industry. So if someone comes up to you and is like, hey, look, I want to learn. Get out of this, man.

I need to get into private school. It's super expensive. I want to use Empower as a vehicle. How do I do it? I say, you know how you do it?

Immediately make sure the 15K is in their radar in the next 24, 48 hours. Why? It's called the 15K formula for a reason. It is the how-to, over-the-shoulder look-through of how multiple leaders drive the how-tos. Now, there's so many how-tos in there that we show a lot of people.

We show you multiple ways to do it, so don't train your teams to do these things unless you're ready. Ninety-five percent of the people listening to this are not ready to be trainers. Don't train.

It's like the blind leading the blind. Don't do that. You're giving out bad advice, you're going to slow your production down, and you're not going to make any money. So focus on where you want to go. Take a massive step forward and say, I, John, Sally, Layla, and Lawrence, Pam, will make my decision that by the time I wake up tomorrow, I have flipped the switch, just like Toby was talking about.

It's in your mind. And I'm telling you, I don't want to sound like a student college counselor, but it's a small shift, a small shift to allowing yourself to go, I'm worth it. I believe I'm worth it. I believe I'm worth $1,000 an hour. And that was my hurdle, but something I had to go through.

But I believe it's my job right now to teach you: if I can do it, you can. All you need to do is show up at an Empower Network event, and you'll notice a whole lot of people obliterate that because there's enough people for you to hang your hat on the belief rack. You can believe that what we have for you is the vehicle that will take you to the moon if you decide to press that button to launch. Make that decision. And if you don't make that decision, have your spouse kick you so you will make that decision because in the long run, you're going to look back and go, I'm glad I did that.

You made a decision. You made a decision that you will go and be on stage in Chicago holding a fat freaking check that is actually money made to you, deposited to you. It's not that the company owes you. Some of you get that joke. It's actual money in your bank.

Why? Because you're on a system that pays you 100% commission, built by owners who were sick and tired of watching hardworking people, a lot of them part-time, a lot of them with the world on their shoulders, not making the money they deserve. You're good people. You deserve it. You have what it takes.

You just needed a vehicle. Empower Network is your rocket ship. And it's only going to take off when you decide it's there for you to jump in and ride it like it's crazy. Just ride it like a wild bronco. It's going to go 90 degrees to the right, totally off course.

You'll listen to the inner circle. You'll correct it by a couple of degrees. You'll find a small thing in culture. You'll correct it by a couple of degrees. You'll listen to a gangster tip by Chakra Traffic in 15K.

You'll correct it by a couple of degrees. And then you'll listen to another thing by, say, like Tracy Walker in the master's course. You'll correct it by a couple of degrees. And then you'll listen to these Monday calls and come to an event, and you're like, huh, I made it. Because you put your head down, stop worrying about what people have said about you, and you made the decision to act.

And here's the funny thing. A lot of you go, when I make money, I'll then be ready. I then can show it to my friends and family. I then can show it to my coworkers. I then can show it to my friends.

And I find that hilarious. Why? Now that I make a lot of money, the people around me who said, when you make more money, I will consider it, these same people go, you're lucky. There's no way I can do it. You've been doing it.

You've been doing it for too long. You're too good at it. I can't do it. People are going to have excuses. That's cool.

But at least they know what I do. See, I'm an Internet marketer, but you've got to realize, almost every person I know knows what I do. You get that? I never avoided talking about Toby and Layla. Why?

If I did, I would have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in my bank. I go to events. I network. I don't spam people. I treat people like people.

I want to be friends because this is where we are in network marketing. Just that it's on the Internet doesn't mean you don't connect. I talk to a lot of people, and we connect. And I love this. I've done this so many times.

It works like gangbusters because why? I always teach my team, use the tools, don't be the tool. I will send a link out. I will send a link out to someone who says, Lawrence, what do you do? Hey.

Lawrence, we went to high school together. What do you do? I send them a link, and I say, hey, when you finish watching that, go ahead and hit me back. And the first thing when they hit me back — a guy from high school like last week joined me. He's like, cool.

You know what I ask? I say, hey, what is the best thing you saw in that video? The best thing you saw. If you've been in network marketing long enough, you can use that. Use those marketing strategies on the Internet all day long.

But use the tools necessary. I mean, you're never going to see people in my house doing a party. I'm sorry. Let's just get that out of the way. I have never done a house party in my house for me and my businesses. Why?

Because I just felt I'm uncomfortable with it. And I can tell you, get uncomfortable being comfortable. But, hey, it's not going to happen. Why? Because I'm more comfortable with my wife not allowing people in my house, because she would kick my butt knowing that strangers are in my house.

Okay. That's a little off subject. But we do what we need to do. So for me to compensate for not allowing people in my house while I was doing traditional network marketing, I did the Internet to do it, to have traffic, capture pages, which are tools, and then we communicate through emails. That's where you want to be.

Using the tools necessary to get you from point A to point B. So I'm going to leave you with this. There's going to be people right now who are thinking, that Lawrence Tam is one frugal Asian that doesn't know what he's talking about. And I'm going to say, you know what?

I know where you want to go. Okay. And where you want to go is — I want you to imagine a time when someone told you something and you go, shut your mouth. And that time for me was walking into my accountant's office and she goes, Lawrence, you got two weeks to buy two cars. Go do it.

And I said, shut your mouth. Right? Now think about it. You want to be in that situation where you have to spend money or you'll be taxed more. Now think about that.

We want you to get to a point where — now I'm not giving out tax tips, you go to your actual accountant, okay? But that's just a story to let you know. You want to come to a place where the obscene becomes real, okay?

Like flying to Disney World for three days, which I'm doing next week. For three days. Who goes to Disney World for three days with their two kids? Because you can. Because you want to.

Because you're worth it. Because your marketing will continue to work when you're riding a roller coaster. You can be at the top. So some of you listening right now go, I'm brand new. Where do I start?

I say go into your back office. Go under training. Go under fast start. There's eight core steps. Be very familiar with what they are.

And if you really want to take off, this is what you do. You market daily. Which includes blogging because blogging is marketing. And you will make sure you go to Chicago to build your team. And I'm telling you, the people who go to Chicago are the same people who went to Austin and their checks are getting bigger.

Get to Chicago, all right? And then if you're the person who's like, man, I'm running, and I say to you, get all in. Get your foundation set. A house built on sand is not a good foundation. Go all in.

Buy other products. Have that tool set like Batman on your belt. I got the resources. Your foundation is set because it's going to be extremely hard to retail a package that you don't own. Don't be that person because your marketing will reflect it.

And you'll feel it in your bank, in your wallet. Trust me, your spouse will appreciate it. They might not understand it now. But if they see the vision and power of where you want to go in your eyes, they'll get it. And that's why my wife got it.

It carried her to the point where she saw me on stage and goes, oh, okay, I get it now. I get it. It wasn't the fact that you wanted a bunch of money. It was the fact that you wanted to have your dad proud. You wanted us to never have to work.

And you wanted us to all have time with you. She gets it. Have that burning desire that it's not your words, but it's your actions. It's your actions. So some of you who are bosses, I'm sorry to say this right now, but I as an employee, when I went to all these events, I called in sick a lot.

Do what you have to do to get to the events, to be present in your own success story. Your own success story. And I'm going to do it just like the last time in Austin. I shot as many videos as I could. Every leader is here to help you.

I lost my voice because we are trying our best to help you see your future. We see it. We believe in you doing it. We believe you're worth at least $1,000 an hour. Only

if you allow it on yourself, we can't carry it across the goal, but we're there right there with you. And my name is Lawrence Tam. You listen to the Empower Network. We believe in the freedom model of let's go. Just have a fantastic life, change a bunch of lives.
