Why I Am Not Returning To Facebook

3 Days ago the evil conspiring social media slash world directory slash CIA backed website known to people on Earth as Facebook decided to disable my account until I provide proof of ‘Michelangelo Lopez’ being my name on official Government document.  WTF? Just to let you know from the very beginning of this post my ‘legal’ name on ‘official’ government documents is not ‘Michelangelo’ Lopez  that is my DBA, and my legal name is Angelo Lopez which I haven’t gone by dating back to the 90’s when I was a personal trainer.

I actually did follow through with Facebook’s request to upload my license but after a good night’s sleep and a lot of ‘Who Da Fuck does Facebook think They Are?’ thinking I decided to delete my Facebook account with 5,000 friends and over 4000 followers.

Facebook is a Social Media platform that’s all it should be to Earthlings, nothing more.  But it is NOT what Facebook believes themselves to be! They want to be the world’s directory.  They wish to be the world’s perfect most valuable data mine.  Which, by the way, is why they are starting to enforce all their members to make certain their information that is on their FB account is real.  Think about it they are in the business, whether you believe this or not, of selling data to third parties or one way or another giving direct access, so ‘fake’ data would not be worth as much. “Our interested Parties Want Real Data People!” Facebook shouts., “Your DBA or cute nick name won’t work! We Want Your Real Information!”

Hear me out before you start thinking Michelangelo is some Conspiracy Theory ‘Kook’ (though I probably am): Facebook was the ‘snitch’ to hire a PR Firm to attack Google!  Here is the link for your own reading:  Facebook Attacks Google .  Or you can check out this Youtube video where Mark Zuckerberg exchanges emails with a friend letting his friend know, “Yeah, if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard, just ask.  I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS…” His friend replied, “What? How’d you manage that one?”  To which Zuckerberg replied, “People just submitted it.  I don’t know why.  They ‘trust me.’ Dumb fucks.”

You should take the time to read the above email exchange a few times until its crudeness and hidden motives of Facebook starts boiling your blood. Here is the Youtube link:

David Kirkpatrick’s book, “The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That is Connecting the World” may ring with truth but never forget this much, only Hollywood tends to portray ‘evil’ as monstrously ugly and grotesque and ‘hard on the eyes’. ‘Evil’ in the ‘REAL’ world in many of its forms it takes on tends not to be so.  And as the Good Book often states, ‘ Can come as an Angel of light’ or in this case, “An Angel to Connect the World.”

Now you may be thinking to yourself, ‘Okay, Michelangelo.  I get it.  But I’m sure you’re simply bitter and writing out of anger that Facebook deactivated your account and you are simply firing a few reactive missiles for anyone who cares to read your post.”

Yes and No is my answer to your thought (those who are thought this).  Yes, I am angry and No it is not as simple as an Internet Marketer attacking a Social Media powerhouse who many may argue is simply enforcing their own rules.

This ‘deactivation’ of my account until I upload a government issue ID was simply the slap in the face I needed to wake my ass up!  Oh, by the way, thank you so much Facebook for that slap. It FUCKING did wake my Ass up!

Will I miss Facebook? Of course!  I enjoyed posting my funny videos and posts that humor people and make them laugh and has them liking my posts and sharing and leaving their comments. That I can not deny.  That said, why can’t I post my funny videos and humorous essays and witty pictures on my Empower Network blog?  For the love of God isn’t that what I truly need to do to get traffic to my blog and for my posts to go viral?  Why did Michelangelo join Empower Network if my posts slash blogs and engaging videos are placed on a platform such as Facebook instead of my Empower Network blog?  it certainly seems self defeating now that I’ve been Facebook slapped and thinking a lot clearer.

Internet Marketers accumulated wealth before Facebook and Twitter ever existed. Do not think you can not succeed without spending time on Facebook.  In fact, I’m going to prove that in the end after all is said and done Facebook is a HUGE FUCKING TIME WASTER and posting what would have been a Facebook comment or post or video now on my Empower Network blog will do more for monetizing my FB ‘posts’ now turned EN blog posts than every before.

Make no mistake about it we are in an age where the feared Big Brother is ALIVE and WELL and breathing down our necks at every corner and Facebook is a big part of that.

Not No More!  Not for this Preacher’s Kid.  I’m through with Facebook.

I will be known as the Internet Marketer who does not have a Facebook account (actually I do have one still under Michelangelo Lopez but I think I created it years ago and have no idea what email is linked so I will just let it be) and who succeeds.

Those 5,000 friends (and I am using the word ‘friends’ loosely since I am certain that 80% were not friends and did not engage and just took up oxygen) and followers can simply follow my Empower Network blog posts if they wish to continue learning valuable insight on internet marketing or simply wish to continue laughing at my funny videos and posts.

Yeah, I’m going to be even more funnier on my blog posts.  And guess what?  I’m NOT going to get fucked by Facebook algorithms that like some control freak decides who sees my posts and who doesn’t and when.

In closing I simply want to say this:  This is just my own belief from my own personal experience and enlightenment.  And my way of sharing with my followers why I am no longer on Facebook and the new ‘Awaken’ insight I now have. if Facebook works for you and makes you a lot of money by all means you are turning a bad entity into good in your household and that’s awesome.

But as for me in my household:

  6. I love this blog, I’m getting tired of facebook also. I do a lot of paid advertising with them and they’ve been rejecting my ads with no proof that I violate facebook rules. We should get together and create our own social media. ^_^

Others will continue to be duped into thinking their lives are private when in fact Facebook is selling the results of every quiz, the congregated keywords of every post, a listing of every click we make, and the demographics of our friends lists to thousands of advertising agencies and law enforcement agencies all day every day, just like Chili’s Happy Hour.     The bottom line though is Facebook has full control over there platform and couldn’t give one shit about any one of us marketers.
    The great thing about this story though is that since UOIS teaches folks how to make money online WITHOUT Facebook.. this isn’t going to affect your business in the least.

  30. I recently got banned for posting in groups. Every day a new one even when I had not been near a group. I finally had it resolved but took 5 weeks. I am not sure I could do what you have done though but maybe I am addicted. Love your blog.

  31. Hey Michelangelo, I’ve had similar dealings with Facebook too. I was put in ‘Facebook Jail’ for 30 days for joining too many business fb groups in too short of a time period. I mean… WTF. I thought that’s what groups were there for! To join! I couldn’t do anything for a whole month. What do you think about that one? Well, just venting my frustrations like you.   34. I was placed in facebook jail for 6 day last summer. They wouldn’t let me post or join any groups for 6 days because they felt I posted to much.

    s so funny they ask that you basically have to use your real name, what about all those that have some other weird shit in their name like Success or Enlighten or some other monicker. I know that shit ain’t on their government issued license. And who do the think pays for their ability to have a website anyways. It ain’t the little teenyboppers, it’s marketers that advertise with them. Oh well, their loss boss. You just keep rolling with your badass self, and I’ll follow you wherever the heck you are.
