As a single mother and a victim of a tragic car accident that left her with a neck injury, permanent debilitating pain, nerve damage, and the inability to continue her 15 year career as a critical care RN, Susan has had her share of obstacles to over come in the last few years.
After spending my life savings on medical care, I decided that I needed to get creative on how to make some extra income to look after my children more comfortably.
She realized a career change was necessary if she was to cope with the pain and care for her 2 beautiful children.
Susan’s thoughts have always been on how she can create a better life for her children and a home business was just the option she was looking for.
Like many of us in this industry, Susan entered the home business arena knowing nothing about marketing, prospecting, or growing a network marketing or online business. She soon realized that in order to succeed, she would have to spend time and money to get the education she needed.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning how to dance in the rain.
When Susan was introduced to Empower Network she instantly saw the value in the training that was offered and knew this was the education she needed to become successful.
But it didn’t stop there.
Educating yourself is only the 1st part of the process, taking action, and implementing what you learn is what gets you to your goals.
By following the 8 core commitments and applying the marketing strategies she learned in the Costa Rica Intensive and the 15k formula, Susan was able to begin growing her business and within a very short period of time had gained 170 leads and two new reps on her EN team.

Since then, Susan has been working diligently to grow her online businesses and when the opportunity to participate in the Success with Sam 1st EVER blog contest/ challenge/ competition came along she took the advice of Kris Darty & Dave Wood to participate in & win contests, accepted the challenge, and faced it head on like every other obstacle in her life.
The training in EN has made me braver, it has helped me to truly believe that I can and will be successful with my online ventures.

When asked “ How did you get all your ‘Likes’?
She responded saying
It was easy, I followed the EN training and I just did my usual syndication strategy with the post…IBOtoolbox twice, twitter, Google+ twice, broadcast to my leads, and of course Facebook using Ramcage.
Although the action steps were easy, Susan did not win this contest by accident. Her sheer determination and commitment to following the Empower Network training has gotten her where she is now in her business.
Since I joined Empower Network my learning accelerated ten fold. It is an amazing community of people helping each other in business. Empower Network has been the best choice for me. The products are just as powerful as the people.
Susan Bachelder has had many struggles in her life over that past few years and her determination to over come them and create a better future for her family has made her one of the most inspirational up and coming new leaders here in Empower Network.
Earlier this year…
I made some changes in my thinking, which changed me. It took me awhile to find the courage, but once I did (with the help of my son I must admit), …I have had the focus and energy to make some amazing progress and changes.
So much of the time, many of us go through life making excuses as to why we aren’t successful. “It’s too hard, I don’t understand, it’s not as easy as they say it’s supposed to be, I’m overwhelmed by all the info, I just don’t have the money, I’m tired, my spouse doesn’t support me, my friends and family thinks it’s a scam”, etc etc. the excuse list is endless…
But the truth is, everyoneregardless of their situation, is very capable of having all the success they desire. They need only make a commitment to themselves that they will reach their goals, “no matter what, that’s it, period!” and then follow the training, take action daily, and keep doing it UNTIL they reach their goals.
