As more and more female entrepreneurs start a home based business more blogs are started every day to help create attention around their business. Setting up a blog is the easy part, creating attention for your business takes some work.
Here are top blogging tips for female entrepreneurs to create huge business attention.
Tip 1 – Consistency. Consistency in your blogging is essential to creating attention around your blog. But like any new habit it takes some commitment to develop. We have found that to Blog on a regular basis, 3-5 times per week, we needed to take our blogging seriously or it would not happen.
I think I could easily become the queen of procrastination. We are really good at coming up with something else to do or some reason why tomorrow was a better day then today. Honestly as humans we are all like that. We are always looking for the “easy button” or the “easy road to business success.”
Here is the problem; to have a blog without regular blog posts is like having a brick and mortar business on the busiest street corner in the world but the doors to your business are always closed. As a female entrepreneur you have to blog regularly to keep people coming back to your blog.
So what did we do to get a new habit started? Nothing glamorous, we put, “Blog writing,” in on our schedule, turned off any interruptions such as the phone, Facebook or my email notification and set a timer. Having a finish time is essential for staying on track otherwise for me, as the queen of procrastination; I can let perfectionism keep me from actually completing the task.
Tip 2 – Identify your niche market and write to your best client. Identify who is your best client and what is their problem. What information does your best client need to know and how can your blog help them?
For female entrepreneurs with a home based business your blog is the best way for you to get your customer to know who you are and how you can help them.
Tip 3 – Identify your keywords. Blogging for the sake of blogging doesn’t help you build your business. As a Female entrepreneur we are always trying to use our time wisely. Identifying keywords that connect you with your potential customers helps you do that.
Your customer needs to be able to find you and your blog in order for them to know you. Take time to consider what handful of keywords your best customer would type into Google searching for answers to their problem.
Make a list of 10-15 keywords or phrases. And then develop a plan to use the keywords in your writing. Use the keywords in your blog title, in your blog post and in the tags.
