Purpose Of A Community

Think of your favorite clothing company.

Or the car you drive.

Or favorite department store?

Some are probably some pretty well known brands.

Right?

They probably advertise, they have an email list,   have a Facebook page or some social media site, they might blog or have a website.

Either way they have some way to contact their fans and customers that are interested in there  products or people who have already bought from them.

And this is exactly what you want to do.

You want to have a website, social media sites and a email autoresponder.

This way you can communicate and share things with your audience without you having to be there.

So you want to build a community, tribe, team, audience, or fans that love your brand and your  products.

You want them to follow you because of the great value you provide to them on a regular bases.

People want to follow people they trust.

Would you follow someone or buy something from someone you think is sneaky, up to no good

Or does not align with your morals.

No you probably wont buy anything or follow them.

Attract People To Your Community

Now you don’t just want to try and attract anyone and everyone.

Why y0u ask?

Well not anyone and everyone wants to buy your products or like your social media sites.

And that is perfectly okay.

This is why you have a targeted audience who will love you and your business because they want to.

Down below are a list of 5 ways to attract people to your community.

1.  Make videos so your audience can get to know who you are as a person.

We talked about this in step 1 and you learned how  to get traffic to your YouTube videos and channel.

2. Create blog posts regularly. This shows people you are putting out content on a regular

Basis and they will get valuable information from you.

This will make them want to follow you especially if you are helping them with something.

4. Create an enticing offer that is relevant to

Your target markets  problem, and solve it.

Create a free video series, pdf download, or ebook.

Have them subscribe to your email list so you have a way

To communicate with your audience personally.

Use a capture page to capture peoples information.

5. Have a clear call-to-action (CTA). At the end of your video, blog post, email, or social media post have a CTA.

Let people know to “subscribe or like” the video. To “comment on the blog post.” Or to “click the link” on the social media post.
