Generating traffic without chasing or begging is the promise, and Christina Spohr means it structurally rather than as a mood. She lays the work out in numbered steps: get attention on social platforms first, build a community that comes back, then bring those people somewhere you control.
Her argument for making video and writing posts instead of messaging strangers is the practical heart of it. Make the thing once and send it to everybody, rather than making it thirty times for thirty people, which is arithmetic nobody spells out.
Instagram gets proper attention, including how to read its analytics to work out who your customers really are, and Facebook gets the mechanics: scheduling posts ahead, and what the call to action button on a page is for.
She also writes about self sabotage and about listening better in order to sell, and those belong together more than they look like they do.
Work through the numbered steps in order. They were built that way on purpose.
