YouTube Traffic:
Get Subscribers On Your YouTube Channel
I did not use YouTube when I first started marketing.
Mainly because I was scared to get on camera,
And I really had no idea what to talk about and say in the video.
No joke the first video I ever did took over 50 tries.
And my first team webinar which was supposed to last 45 min to and 1 hour lasted about 5-10 minutes.
Haha it was not funny at the time but now I am laughing about it because I made such a big deal about it.
So I want to give you some tips that will attract more traffic to your YouTube channel for more views on your videos and subscribers to your channel.
1. Pick a one main topic for the video. If you have multiple ideas make multiple videos.
2. Solve a problem in the video. What is your audience/target market, struggling with, what do they need help with?
3. Embed your videos on your blog. Right click on video and click ‘embed video.’
4. Embed or share video on social media profiles.
5. Share video in Facebook Groups, that are related to the video.
6. Have a clear call to action in your video. What do you want them to do next. Watch more videos, visit a website, like and share the video, access a free offer, the options are endless.
7. Add cards and end screen videos to keep visitors on your videos and YouTube channel.
8. An effective ways to get traffic to your videos and channel is to rank your videos. Using keywords that are targeted to your market. We will not be going over SEO in this Free Video Series. We offer a course that teaches you how to rank YouTube videos.
9. You can make ads on other social media sites like Facebook or Instagram promoting your channel and videos.
10. Have a good thumbnail to draw attention to subscribing.
11. Make sure to customize your page so you have your social media icons and website on your YouTube banner.
12. Free analytics for you to track the engagement your videos are getting. This will help you know what videos are getting the most traffic, views, and engagement.
Now all you have to do is get on camera.
Don’t worry nothing is easy the first time.
Remember you don’t have to be perfect on camera either.
If your excuse is you don’t have a video camera.
That is no excuse. I am sure you have a phone or a computer.
If not borrow one from a family member or friend.
“If there is a good will, there is great way.”
