At the age of 86, Legendary Motivational Speaker, Zig Ziglar, passed today after a short bout with pneumonia. He lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area and is survived by two daughters-Julie and Cindy, Son-Tom, and his wife of 66 years, Jean.

Zig Ziglar grew up in Yazoo City, Mississippi and was a World War II veteran. He went to work in sales for several companies and was inspired to begin his motivational speaking career which he went full time in when he was in his 40′s.

We absolutely love his work! True, true! Haha!  

Zig’s first book of over 30 books was, “See You At the Top” whose premise was “you can have everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what they want.”

aimed to help others have success in their personal lives and careers with a focus on Christianity. He “accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior” at the age of 45 and his life was forever changed.

Visitors to Zig Ziglar’s website, Ziglar.com, are greeted with the scripture Romans 8:28, and his Facebook page today states “Though his time on earth has ended, he is speaking with Jesus now in his heavenly home. The angels in heaven are rejoicing and his family is celebrating a life well lived.”

Ziglar was a profound speaker and attended events alongside world leaders including several U.S. presidents and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

He was a leader of leaders and mentor of mentors. Zig Ziglar truly has impacted so many lives and will be missed tremendously.
