Are You in a Toxic Environment?
To be specific, we’re asking if you’re in a toxic environment in your workplace but even if you’re in a toxic environment at home, you have the power to change it. You’re special and deserve more. Believe it!
We’re going to share with you some differences between the network marketing industry vs. Corporate America and you can decide if you’re in a toxic environment or not……
You see, in Corporate America, all too often people back stab you. Others feel the need to fight their way to the top by any means necessary. They’ll do ANYTHING to get that promotion even if it means throwing you under the bus. They will gossip, undermine, sabotage, and cut your throat because they want to be the best. Truly, the worst kind of toxic environment.
You may even have a boss that’s on an ego trip and is looking to use you and throw you away at the first sign of imperfection. It doesn’t matter in a toxic environment how long you’ve been loyal, busted your butt, or gone over and beyond because you’re expendable.
In network marketing, there is only the competition of products and companies, but most still want you to be successful. They care about you and your mindset. No toxic environment here because you work from home and you make it how you want it.
They encourage and support you by posting uplifting and motivational quotes, host powerful educational webinars, mastermind, outstanding events that inspire and uplift you causing a movement, post encouraging comments on your blogs and Facebook statuses and even go as far as to reach out and connect personally on the phone to help you if you’re struggling. Most certainly not a toxic environment in the least.
In Corporate America, you have to do more work for more hours and less pay all for the CEO’s benefit. Definitely a toxic environment in our opinion.
In network marketing, you work many hours as well, but you’re working towards your OWN financial and time freedom, while helping others do the same. No toxic environment because you’re going after your dreams because you believe in your vision and purpose.
Just Say NO to the Toxic Environment!
In Corporate America, you have to ask permission to take the day off because your child is sick and then you get an occurrence or written up because you’re only allowed to miss work so many times before it becomes a black mark against you. Seems like a toxic environment when family or health isn’t important.
In network marketing you have the luxury of doing what you want, when you want without any guilt. Family is supposed to be # 2- as it should be. (God being #1). The world would be a much better place if we would go back to the old school mentality that family is the most important priority. Enough with the toxic environment. You can change it!
Another difference between network marketing and the corporate world is that the corporate world does background and credit checks before hiring you, whereas the network marketing arena has so many people from all walks of life. No prejudging, they only care if you are taking action in your business. A toxic environment isn’t good for the soul. Shouldn’t you be accepted and appreciated for who you are and your strengths?
In network marketing, you’re working for YOU! You are working to not only better your own financial circumstances, but you’re helping others as well. If others in your team or downline are successful, it benefits you so you’re going to do everything you can to support them.
In corporate America, you don’t have time to work on personal development. It doesn’t matter how overworked and stressed you are, you just have to suck it up and deal. More toxic environment mentality.
In network marketing, you’re strongly encouraged to consistently be reading personal development books, listening to audios, attending events, watching videos, etc. This is a must if you want to make it in this business. If you want success, you have to be the best YOU and that also means helping others be the best they can be. This kind of mindset helps in every aspect of life.
