It is Tom, the Furry Hat Guy Yatar, here with an awesome Inner Circle Audio. Today, I want to talk to you about handcuffing yourself to success. What I decided to do is actually take an audio recording of a talk I had from the stage at one of the Empower Network events here in Dallas, Texas.
I just want to tell you that you want to listen to the entire audio because what I did was I taught about a technique that I used upon myself to get over 51 signups within 30 days. This technique, I actually had some furry handcuffs and actually handcuffed a girl to the stage, an audience member to the stage. Listen here, my friends, as I share with you how to handcuff yourself to success. Enjoy, my friends. Now it's funny that a lot of people come out here and we all are excited.
We're all excited to be here, live the dream within Empower. I want to ask you, who here wants to make six figures? Raise your hand. Awesome. Now keep your hands up.
Keep your hands up. Keep your hands up. Okay. Now as your hands are up, who out of the people who want to make six figures want to be on stage? Okay.
Now here's a shocker. Keep your hands up. One more question. Okay. Who here is all in?
Okay. Wait. Only if you're all in, that means at every level. Put your hands down if you're not. Okay.
See, here's the deal. Okay. Even if you're not there yet. Well, there's a couple of things that are going to allow you to do that. And allow me to share my story, because my intent with you this weekend is to share with you story, value, and I want to give you a plan of action.
Sound good? Okay. Awesome. Now, what happened with my story, because a lot of you are looking at me going, what's up with the furry hat? What's up with that hat?
How many hats do you have, Tom? And I had a lot of people come up to me this weekend, so what's up with that furry hat? What's up with this whole pick-up artists, pick-up checks, and set-up checks thing? Well, it went back to my childhood days when I was in ninth grade. And what happened was I was actually one of the most popular kids in school.
I got good grades. I mean, well, there was a time actually I didn't get good grades. I'll share that story in a bit. I was part of the student council, and I was part of the varsity wrestling, and I was absolutely on fire to take things on. And then what happened was my mother had gotten some money for $400,000, and she was very frivolous with the money, that within a year's time, the money was all gone.
And who's ever heard of like those lottery winners that they've got like $100 million, right? And it's like in a year's time, since they didn't have the mindset to keep it, it's like gone. Well, she was like that. So what happened was I was very popular at this school, and since she could not afford to pay the bills anymore, we ended up having to move. And we had to move to a school that was about an hour away, and that school, I had to relearn how to be popular again, and I had to relearn how to fit in, per se.
And for the life of me, it wasn't working. It just wasn't working. I was trying to get into this group over here, this group over here, and these guys would do their own thing, they would do their own thing, and I'm just like trying to be the tag-along all of a sudden, and I'm like, this is just not me. So I'm just going to be a loner, not spend time with anybody, and just study my stuff and graduate. So what I did is I just put my head down, studied, studied, studied, I graduated.
Once I got out of school, I screwed myself. The reason I screwed myself was because I didn't create a social life, I didn't create a relationship with a girl, and I always was raised on how to build a relationship and have a girlfriend in my life, because that's what I wanted, I wanted a girlfriend. So it was funny, when I was 19 years old, I saw a talk show, and there was this really nerdy guy, he's kind of skinny and stuff like that, and he had these really hot, gorgeous girls on his left and right side, and I'm like, oh, dang, I want to be that guy. Y'all ever seen that nerdy guy, and he's got the hot girls, you're like, how did that happen? So it was a mystery to me, but it was great marketing for what he had, and he actually offered a book, and I got the book, and what I didn't realize was that it was my first journey towards personal growth.
And it was funny, because once I started studying it, because my intention was, I want a girlfriend, I want a girlfriend, please, God, send me a girlfriend. I wanted a girlfriend, and I studied, studied, studied, and I fell on my butt a couple times. There was a couple times I'd go up to a girl, and I'd try one of the lines, they had little pickup lines or something like that, and one of the lines was, hey, honey, you got a cell phone? And she's all, well, yeah, why? And I said, because I just want to phone God and tell him I found one of his missing angels.
And she's all, aww, and I'm like, thanks. I walked away, I didn't even know what to say after that, and then, check this out, there was another one where, y'all ever heard the, don't I know you from somewhere? And the girl's like, no. And I'd be like, oh, you know, I was reading this pictorial dictionary, and I could've sworn I saw your name, your picture, on the word angel. You know what I mean?
That was in this pickup book, wasn't that amazing? And I still walked away after that, sorry, have a good day. I lacked confidence, so what I did was I actually ended up gaining this confidence. I actually ended up just like studying more, studying more, and finally my breakthrough came. Well, it wasn't really a breakthrough, I was getting better, because they always say the more you do it, the better you get, right?
So I was at this roller skating rink, who here likes to roller skate? Oh, there you go, yeah, cool, we got some roller skating busting down. Oh, look at this guy, he's like, yeah, I like roller skating, man. So I was at this roller skating rink, it was adult night, not porn, nothing like that, but it was an adult night where only adults could get in, you know, this guy's laughing, he's like, yep. So what happened was I saw this really gorgeous, statuesque, beautiful woman, you know, hourglass figure, nice bootay, and nice bassoons, I'll be respectful, ladies, you know, I love you, and I just saw her all the time, and it was almost like this whole aura was around her.
Hey, guys, you ever seen a woman that you just got nervous over? Come on, give it up, give it up, come on, right, right? You ever got nervous over them, she has perfect hair, beautiful skin, she's got the perfect statuesque body, and all of a sudden there's like this nervousness going, what did I say? And it's funny, because girls, don't ever think that you're too beautiful for us to come up to you, that is rubbish. Because the thing is, is that you look so fine that we get nervous.
You look that good. So always pat yourself on the back, girls, when you're looking good in the club, and say, man, I must look that damn good for a guy not to approach me. She's all, yeah, yeah, right? Ready? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, so I'm having fun with y'all, thanks for the love. So basically, I finally got the balls to go up, we can say balls, it's in power, right? Okay, good, I'll just be myself. So I finally got the, yeah, the balls, the huevos, you know, for you, Mexican, where's my Mexican people? Huevotes!
Right? I finally got the huevotes, and I skated by her once, I went, okay, I'm here, okay, went back again, and I just went, and this is in the book, right? And I said, excuse me, ma'am, I'm sorry to interrupt you here, I'm being courteous, right? I'm sorry for interrupting you. And I said, I just really had to tell you, I literally think you're one of the most beautiful women in the world, and I just wanted to build up the comfort to meet you.
And she goes, ah, like that, because it's true, I was being honest with my comfort zone, like I just wanted to build up the comfort to meet you. And she's like, ah, and I'm like, well, have a good day. And I skated away again, and I basically never talked to her again. So what my, yeah, I never talked to her again, right? And my breakthrough, and you guys, okay, Tom, where's the breakthrough?
Where's the, okay, thanks, Dave. So my breakthrough was finally just after going up the scales, going up the scales, finally I did this really cool thing, where I got these dozen roses, and who, ladies, do you like roses? Right? And I had asked this one girl out over and over and over again, I kept asking her out, and she's like, she wouldn't say no, she would just be like, well, I'm busy, well, I'm busy, I don't have time, I don't have time, right? And then finally, I walked up to, I finally said, okay, this book said buy her roses, and then kind of like get this shirt thing, right?
So I bought roses, and she had told me where she worked, she was just one of those cool gals like that who tells you where she works, and she told me where she worked, and I had roses delivered to her, and the card said to Rebecca, love your secret admirer. And the coolest thing was, I had them sent to her, and she's like asking the rose guy, who was it, who was it, who was the guy, who was the guy, right? And all of a sudden, I was like asking the guy, so how was she acting when she got the roses? And the guy's like, oh my God, she was like, who was it, who was the guy? And then she was so excited, and then she comes in the next morning, I was working at the gym at the time, and she comes in, and she is like eyeing me, is it you, is it you?
Like that, and she didn't say is it you, but she was looking at me, you know that look when you're trying to find out if it's them, right? So she's like, and then finally, I had this jacket on, and I finally go, okay. So I see her working out, I see her go over there in the change room, getting a drink, comes out of the change room, and I go, hey, I want to tell you something, so what's up? And I go, it says, I'm your secret admirer. And she goes, oh my God, lunges at me, and hugs me so tight, and I'm like, oh, oh, like this, and she's like, oh my God, that was you?
And I'm like, well, yeah, I just wanted to go out with you on a date or something, she's like, definitely, all my plans aside, we're going out tonight, isn't that awesome, guys? I just gave, I just gave you a way to be romantic, there, isn't that cool? Okay, and you guys are like, well, well, Tom, what are you going to teach us something about Empower, right? Well, I'm telling you the story of how it led to that, right? So what happened was, I ended up getting more into the community and getting good at it, where I started finally going to the clubs, using the liners and everything, and I walk out with six phone numbers, bunch of kisses on the cheeks, and all this stuff, got really good, and I landed a girlfriend, right?
I got my intention, right? And the thing was, is that, for whatever reason, she wasn't a bad woman or anything like that, it just didn't work out. So 10 months later, it didn't work out, I decided to get back into the skills, and I noticed the community was being treated a little bit differently this time. It was being treated where they were looking to get one over on women, what? I know, right?
Eww, right? And I'm like, this is not me. I use these skills so I can find one good dynamic woman. Who wants one good person in their life, right? That's what I wanted, because I was raised on those values.
So what I did is I said, I'm not going to be in this community anymore. I am getting out of this thing, because this thing is eww, just like that woman said back there, eww, right? I got out of it, and I finally dived into network marketing, right? And it was funny, because I feel just like all of y'all in the beginning, you know, you're ever like trying to get this thing and trying to get it, get it, get it, and you're like, some of you are kind of confused about it, you're confused like, how does this thing work? How is people like Lawrence Tam making a million dollars in two years?
How is, you know, David Wood making the 70 million bucks he made or whatever, you know, how are these guys doing? How, how, how, how? And a lot of those questions are going through your mind, how, how, how, how, how? So it got me back to a technique where I was using this technique when I was younger, and I finally decided to just like, okay, if these people are being successful, and they're not being any different than I am, the only thing I have is a hat on, what can I do to help myself get that successful too? What can I do?
Because in my mind, as I was studying different leaders in my journey on personal growth, I was studying people like Tony Robbins. I was going to events like with Danny Johnson, because, you know, Dave Wood had met me there, or he'd seen me there, we actually didn't meet until later. And who, who here likes Tony Robbins? Give it up. Okay, cool.
And I was learning things like the little cool little power move we were doing, you know what I mean? Like, yeah, yeah, you know what I mean? You know, I do a little hump thing, yeah, who's your old daddy, who's your furry, right? And she's like, yeah, that's cool. So what ended up happening was, I ended up doing this little process where I said, I have got to make this thing work, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make it work.
So I did this process when I was younger. And I did this process, and you know, I need an assistant up here, who wants to be my volunteer? I need a volunteer. Oh, come on up here. Come here.
We're gonna do something fun. Okay. Take a seat. Okay. Now, now, and what's your name?
Emily. Give it up for Emily, everybody. Now, Emily, you, you trust me, right? Yeah. Okay.
Oh, God. Okay. There's the thing that I've done. These are the, feel them? They're real, right?
Okay. Okay. There you go. That was great. You're real, right?
Okay. There's a thing that I'd done, which I decided to do for myself in Empower, and it was called handcuffing myself to success. Check this out. Let me see your hand. I got a key, yeah.
I do. I got a key. Oh, wait. She's stuck now. I'm sorry.
Okay. Wait, wait, wait. So... Okay. You're good.
Give it up. I'm just kidding. Here's the deal. How do you feel right now? Stuck.
Stuck. Exactly. And how does that feel when you can't just go anywhere? Frustrating. Right.
And what's one more emotion you're feeling? Right. There's a point I want you to get here for a second, and she's handcuffed here. Isn't that funny? Someone handcuffing someone?
Who's ever done that? Right? Okay. So she can't get out, but there's a process that I did to make myself succeed. And you're probably, like, going to your head, like, well, what's he gonna say?
The process that I did to make myself succeed was... Oh, wait. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
I'm really sorry. I apologize. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And you're probably, like, like, going to your head, like, well, what's he gonna say?
The process was, I said to myself 11 months ago, because I was flinging around, going to all these different programs, hopping around. And I know a lot of you out there, probably a lot of hoppers, and a hoppers is when you go, this program, that program, this program, that program. And you start shaking your butt. Right? And you're like in ten different things.
Well, the thing is that I decided to take handcuffs, and say, you know what? In order to make myself a success and get where I want to be, which is on stage, which many of you want to get on stage, I've got to handcuff myself to one good program. And what I did was I decided to push every other program aside. And what I did was focus just on Empower. And ever since then, I've built a team over 300 people.
And I'm making a five-figure income every month. It's getting close. So I can still speak to you all who are not six-figures yet. And income disclosure, go to empowernetwork.com, income.php if you want to learn more. There you go.
I threw it in there. I'm doing it right? Okay, good. Just make sure when you're on stage, throw the income disclosure, because they'll get you. So here's the process of what I did.
I'm going to teach you this too. So you're going to learn. Isn't she awesome? Give her... She's cool, dude.
Who else would handcuff themselves, right? Here's a process that I did. Hopefully I can rub in some furry magic on you. I decided that if I'm going to handcuff myself to success, I've got to get all in. And the funny thing is, I didn't have the money to get all in.
I didn't. So I listened to that Dave Wood audio. There's one in the Inner Circle Audios. I don't know if you guys ever heard it. And there's a Dave Wood audio.
It's October 19th, 2012, I think. And what it is, it talks about how you can come up with magical resources on how to get all in. And I'm just like, how do I get all in? I've got to handcuff myself to this thing. Handcuff.
So I'm like, this, this, this. And I'm like, creating these images, what can I call a friend, you know, sell some stuff on eBay, go over here, you know, do a garage sale, stand on the street saying, hi, I work for food or something. Or go to the gas station, you got any spare change? I was looking for all these crazy ways, because in my head it wasn't, oh my God, I can't. It was, how can I.
Erase the, I can't, to how can I, and you will be successful, right? You know what I mean? Because a lot of people are like, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, he doesn't know my situation. Believe me, I do. There's been times I've been $40,000 in debt, where I couldn't do anything with my friends.
And I had to handcuff, I had to do whatever it takes to make things happen. Because if you want to excel, you've got to handcuff yourself to do whatever it takes to make yourself succeed. Because what this does, if you get all in and you do whatever it takes, it is literally handcuffing yourself to learn what it's gonna take to succeed. Because you're gonna be like, okay, I'm committed, I'm handcuffed to do this. And what's gonna happen is once I'm all in, I'm gonna study every freaking product I can.
And I'll tell you what, I found the money like this. I was looking in my drawers and I seemed to magically, God gave me a credit card, which I had paid off and I never could find it. I found a credit card in a drawer and it had $4,100 on it. And I called my sponsor and I said, listen, buddy, I know you're not all in. And guess what, I'm not waiting for you.
Because if you don't get all in yourself, I'm passing you and I'm going to Tracy Walker. And Tracy would be like, furry, you go, boy. Right? So the thing is, is that finally, when I got all in, it was like, that was the time. Oh yeah, by the way, I called my sponsor and he had to rush to get the money too.
Oh my God, what do I do, what do I do? And he found the money too in two days. Isn't that amazing what happens when you get frustrated about something so much that you're like, what's it gonna take, what's it gonna take? It's almost like if your children were gonna be taken away from you in 30 days, the only thing you had to do was get all in. What would you do to get it?
Your two children were gonna be gone from your life. What would it take to get 51.45 to get in? Sometimes you gotta think that way. Because in desperation will become success. Absolutely.
And so what I did is I dove down, studied like almost every, I went to the gym every single morning, listen, inner circle audio, inner circle audio, inner circle audio. I also did this, I did a video to my list. I did a video on YouTube. I did a training with the people that I was bringing in. And I made sure I was just consistent, setting up a Facebook group, doing whatever it took.
And I was like plugging into more books, more audios, taking action, and doing all of this process. And in 30 days after I got all in, I had 51 sign-ups. And I'd never done that before. And this was after Empower was around for a year. So how the fuck can it be saturated?
Oh, it's saturated, dumb. Dude, there's seven billion people on the freaking planet, right? So I decided to do this, do this, do this after I got all in. And I had one focus when I got all in because I knew in my head that one all-in was gonna be paying back my card. I just knew it in my head.
Because you have to think in your head, I'm all in, I gotta do whatever it takes, handcuff myself like this. How does this feel, pretty furry? All right, cool. And I gotta do whatever it takes to get all in. Once I got all in, and after about 45 days, I had my first $12,000 weekend.
Woo! Because I did a simple process called handcuffing yourself to success. So my plan of action for y'all today is this. What is it gonna take to get some freaking handcuffs? Y'all need some furry ones?
Go to the adult store. And be cool about it, too. Don't just be like, hey, can I get some furry handcuffs? Yeah, it's right next to the, well, nevermind. I didn't say that.
I'm being clean. Children, there's no children in the house, right? What's it gonna take for you to handcuff yourself to do whatever it takes to make this happen? You almost have to visualize like, oh my God, if I don't make things happen, my two children will be taken away from me in 30 days. What is it gonna take for me to plug into the products, learn what I need to learn, do whatever it takes, and make things happen?
Because I believe in you all. Okay, everyone stand up. We're gonna do some things. I have 45 seconds. Okay, we're gonna do a mantra.
You can kind of stand up a little bit. Okay, all right, so repeat after me, ready? I am in furry beast mode. Wait, wait, hold on a second. She's making me laugh.
I create power, persistence. I love everybody. I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I say yeah, yeah. I say fuck the belief system.
Fuck the belief system. I'm your daddy. Well, the women say I'm your mama. Go ahead, girls. And I will master what it takes to handcuff myself to success and do whatever it takes to succeed.
That's my time, my friends. Thank you.
