My name's Steve Varengia, and I'll be introducing some really amazing men later on. My husband, Justin Varengia, and this really amazing entrepreneur by the name of Jamie Diaz.

Now, before I introduce those gentlemen, I wanted to share with you a little bit about my story, because, you see, well, I didn't start out, you know, coming out of my mama's womb blogging. Okay, Steve, stop with the jokes. No one really did, right? But no, seriously, just a little bit about me. I remember, you know, logging onto the internet in school just to take, like, a typing course.

You know, that was to the extent of what I knew. So when I realized that, you know, there's a possibility that you could build a business through this thing, I thought, hmm, why don't we have a look? So I remember I was, you know, going to school full time, and at that time, I was studying to become a nurse. And it wasn't because, you know, I wanted to be. I don't know if you've ever had that happen to you in your life, where you want to do something, but everyone else around you kind of has a different idea for you.

And so that's kind of how it was for me. So I ended up in nursing school, hated it. And oh, my goodness, I just remember the inner battle, because, you know, I would go to work, you know, save all this money to pay for this school. And I didn't really want to go, and it really wasn't my passion. That's not what I wanted to study.

You know, I wanted to learn about business. I wanted to learn about law. I wanted to learn about marketing. But, you know, when I shared this with my family and those close to me, they were like, it just doesn't make sense. How are you going to make all of those things, you know, make money, and you want to do it remotely?

Yeah, good luck, D. And then to top it off, like, I haven't even told you the best part yet. Guess the extent of my experience in business was serving chicken wings, ringing up people's orders and serving them cold beer. You guessed it. I was a Hooters waitress.

So you're talking about someone who really just had no experience at all. All I really had was a clear vision. See, I don't know if you can relate. You don't know exactly how you're going to get to the next point, but all you know is that vision that you have inside of you. So right now, I'm going to close my eyes, and I'm going to share with you my vision.

Now, your vision may be different, and that's what's so beautiful about what we do here, because not only is there enough abundance for my vision to come to fruition, but your vision is just around the corner. So let me just share it with you. See, I've always wanted to live my life when I want to, how I wanted, with whom I wanted, but I always felt restricted, and now I see this vision clearly, not only because I wake up to it now, but there were times where it wasn't my reality, and the only moments that I could grasp it were in my mind. So I would close my eyes and envision it deeply, feel it down in my bones, and this is what I saw. I saw a moment in time where I could wake up and live life as if it was my dreams.

I didn't have to be awoken to this reality, because this reality was everything I've ever wanted it to be. I could be loved by the warmth of a husband who's not only faithful, but who supports me, to be surrounded by a family who loves me for me, all my flaws included, to be included within a community of people who truly understand what abundance means, and when I raise my fist up to the sky and yell freedom, they shout it with me. You see, because I believe every man, woman, and child deserves that type of freedom. Some people call me naive. Here's what I have to say to them.

I'm coming. Guys, it was really awesome talking to y'all, but I want to bring on the Jedi himself, and without further ado, my husband, and I couldn't ask for a better business partner, Justin Francia. Yo. Love you. I love you, too.

How awesome is this? Thank you, baby. That's my better half, the lovely D. Varengia, and I just want to share something about D, because I don't know many women like D. She's very different.

Well, number one, her legal first name is one letter, and nobody ever believes us. It's actually quite hilarious. A lot of airlines, you can't even book the ticket online, because there are no initials put in the full name, but something that really stands out. My daughter was born approximately two years ago in three days, on the 11th, February 11th, which is my birthday I share with my daughter, and my wife gave birth at a holistic birthing center, and she did some hypnobirthing classes with William Wood. We did over Skype, and that definitely prepared us a lot mentally, but she gave birth to our daughter, Quan Yin, complete, healthy, young girl, all we could ever ask for, and she did it 100% naturally, without any pain medicine, without going to the hospital, just being at a holistic birthing center, so that just reminds me of how powerful we are.

I know all women, especially if you've given birth, you've witnessed a side of you that you didn't know you had, maybe deep down inside, and that's giving life, right? I know fathers can relate as well, but it's just a miracle and a blessing when you choose to focus on the results you want in your life, or for example, D, focusing on the birth of her daughter, our daughter, versus all the pain and all the things that can go wrong doing a natural birth, which doctors and Western society would tell you, you've got to be crazy, you know what I mean? But we are a little crazy, and that's why we're weird entrepreneurs, but my wife is just fabulous. She started building this business with us, I'd say about when we were about a year into it. I know when I first got started, I'll take you back a little bit, I first got started in Empower Network November 8th, it was 11-8, two significant numbers in my life, 11-8-11, because it was in 2011, and we were at a space where we were struggling.

We were actually living in a tiny 300-square-foot studio apartment in Guanacaste Province, which is the most northern province of Costa Rica, living in Cocoa Beach, and for me it was like a dream, one reality, one side of it, one side of the coin, because we were living across the street from a beach in Costa Rica, so I wasn't so concerned how big our apartment was back then, I just wanted some form of freedom, because that's what freedom looked like to me going a few years back. It was living in an exotic country, unplugged from the matrix, living life on my own terms. Now, little did I know what would manifest as a result to taking action and plugging into this community. Not only have we been able to escape poverty, but we've helped so many people, whether it's inspiring them or empowering them, or helping them take their financial situation to the next level, or inspiring them to live life on their own terms, but it's all thanks to this community, so this is kind of like how I look at it. I look at what we do as like a community of lightworkers, for lack of a better term you can say Jedi, right?

People here that want to make a difference in other people's lives, putting other people first, because that's what this business is really about, it's a people business, and something I realized, you know, we've personally sponsored, my wife and I, like literally like over 2,000, maybe close to 2,500 people into this business, and none of them joined, or I'd say very few, it's a rarity, some of them joined specifically because of the business itself. They join because they are attracted to people, and that's why, you know, the sales processes are based around real people, and so I realized that what we do is build up people. We develop leadership. We help them realize, you know, the spark of divinity that we all have inside, and then to create a success story, because here's what happens when you have success, it inspires other people, it shows them what's possible, it unconsciously gives them permission to shine, you know what I mean? And here's something I learned just recently doing a fire walk at the Miami Mansion Mastermind.

That was pretty awesome. You probably saw some videos on Facebook floating around, because everyone there was walking on fire, and like, you know, putting their open palms through like boards. I know Mike Hobbs put his palm through like three boards, and we were doing things that just don't make sense, right? You don't walk on fire, but here's what we learned, and you know, a part of me, when they first said we were going to walk on fire, I'm like, you know, I'm just, my mental talk, right? I'm like, I just got a pedicure.

With Dee, I'm like, my feet are going to burn, right? My first instinct, and then I realized that the nonsense I was telling myself in my mind, and then the guy David, he actually does all the fire walks for Tony Robbins, I've been working with him for like 15 or 20 years. He shared a video of a fire walk with Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey, and Oprah, she was like, not kinda, she was like pretty scared. She was witnessing like all these people do it, but there was a part of her where she's just like, it doesn't make sense. You know what I mean?

We're not supposed to walk on fire, but then Oprah actually does it, because she changes her energy. She changes her state. She focuses on something else. She focuses on the other side. She wanted to feel the breakthrough, you know, other people were experiencing, right?

And so, she changes the energy, shifts, and then she walks on the fire, and then you gotta probably like YouTube her name or something on fire walk, probably see the video, but she got so excited, it was one of her top experiences of her life, all because she focused on the breakthrough. Now, what would happen if you walked on fire? I want you to think about this. What would happen if you walked on fire, and you just thought about the hot coals burning your feet? You would probably have some hot coals burn your feet, because it's like super hot.

They're on fire, these coals, right? But whatever you focus on, you get more of, and this is one of the core principles within the Law of Attraction. This is a core principle in Think and Grow Rich. It's a core principle in the Bible. It's just a core principle for life.

You get more of what you think of. Now, I want you to think about this, because the fire of the fire walk represents your problem or your biggest struggle. If we would have decided to continue to focus on the struggle and the struggle and the struggle, and our primary thoughts was the struggle, our unconscious thoughts were like the struggle, guess what? We repeat the same karmic cycle of sabotage. Most of us go through our entire lives experiencing, right?

Because we're getting more of what we're focusing on. You know what I mean? If you want a breakthrough, don't focus on your problems or pay it any attention, because it's fuel to the fire. The more you're going to burn, the more you focus on that stuff, right? So you need to basically turn your biggest liability into your biggest asset, right?

I share a story of struggle because I have overcame that struggle, so I can guide people out of their struggle, right? And so I want you to think more about this, and we learned this in NLP. You cannot think about something without thinking about it. Think about it. You cannot think about something without thinking about it.

Think about it, right? If I told you not to think about a big blue tree, the very first thing on your mind is what? What I told you not to focus on, a big blue tree. If I told you not to focus on the heat in your feet right now, the warm sensation, you know, tingling in your feet, what are you going to think about? Exactly what I told you not to think about.

So most people join this business, I'm going to put it all into perspective, the majority, right, the masses, who join this business, they come in here, and instead of focusing on their perfect day, what that would look like, right, or actually taking the time to create that, because most people have no idea what they want, most people are more clear on what they don't want. And it's sad because when you focus on what you don't want, you get more of that, right? So, you know, what is on the other side? What if you can have financial freedom here? Focus on that.

You know, what does that look like? How does that make you feel? And if you can focus on the end result that you desire and become obsessed with that where you don't have time or energy to focus on anything else, such as your problems and what you don't want, that's when you're on the right track to success. And I believe the success that my wife and I have manifested here is all due to the mindset. A lot of people look at this and they think this is just a network marketing company.

And maybe we get paid like that, right? But this is a personal development. This is a leadership factory. We're here to develop leaders. And that starts with yourself, right?

You have to take the lead, right? Be a good follower first. Get some results. And then people will want to follow you, right? But sharing your story and inspiring other people.

So you know, it's really, really important to just be conscious of the fact that our thoughts are energy and our thoughts are things. And I know it's very basic. This is a very simple lesson. It truly is. But we tend to complicate in life the most simplest things.

And I believe that's why I struggled for so long before I humbled myself, let go of my ego and just decided to listen, right? Decided to lock arms with the community of people who were living their life how I wanted to live. Giving back at a level I wanted to give back at, right? And then things just started to manifest. But I had to humble myself first.

And here's also something I realized. Most people don't have their breakthrough until they're at a rock bottom. And it's very strange. And I like to study people and why that is. And I don't have all the answers because every individual has a little bit of a different story.

But what I come to realize is it typically takes a rock bottom before most of us are willing to drop our ego, humble ourselves, listen, empty our cup, right? And forget all the bull crap that we don't know. It wasn't until I took full responsibility, I want you to think about this. It wasn't until I took full responsibility that where I was at in my life was a direct reflection of my best thinking, right? It wasn't until I accepted that responsibility that my best thoughts got me where I was at in my life.

And then realizing that wasn't where I wanted to be because I was sick and tired of being unable to afford the rent. You know what I mean? I was sick and tired of being in debt. And going years back in my story, you know, back when I was in real estate, I ended up $500,000 in debt. I was at a point where I look at a homeless man and be like, he has more than I have right now.

Because not only am I broke, I'm $500,000 in debt. But then, you know, I started watching movies like The Secret. I started reading books. I plugged into this community. I started listening to Inner Circle audios daily and just following the blueprint from the mentors, you know, that came before me who were succeeding at the level of success.

And long story short, here's what happened. And then I'll introduce our guest speakers here tonight who I'm very excited to bring out here. And they just inspire the audience. the world out of me, so I'm very excited for that. But check this out, so we joined, we went to our first event, this is in June of 2012, so we joined November 2011, then June of 2012, we went to an event in Atlanta, Georgia.

I was sick and tired of not being at the level I wanted to be at, I humbled myself, I stretched and got myself to an event I really couldn't afford to get to. I had to split a hotel room with my homie Chris Rushlow to make it possible, but I didn't care, I didn't go to the event to stay in the hotel room, so I really did not care if I had to sleep in a hot tub, you know what I mean? I just wanted to be there, I was hungry, and I've met many others who have that same desire and fire inside their belly, and it's very evident within a few moments of meeting them. But I went to that event, I got back, and prior to this event, we never really earned a lot of money. I let go of all the shenanigans that were really just holding me back, beliefs, self-limiting beliefs, sabotage cycles, you know, I put all that in the past and decided to focus no energy on the fire, but to focus my energy on what I wanted, you know what I mean?

They changed their thinking, they changed their beliefs, because we all have self-limiting beliefs, whether you admit that or not, I know for a fact that it's true, right? And there's no limit to where we could be in our life, so even if you're Donald Trump, you have your own limits that you have to overcome, right? And then achieve new heights of greatness, you know what I mean? It didn't matter if you were from Puerto Rico, right? It didn't matter if you were from Colombia, it didn't matter if you were from like Haiti, or somewhere in the Caribbean, it didn't matter if you're in like the other side of the world, over there in Asia, you know what I mean, Singapore, China, Japan, we've had affiliates literally from every country you can imagine, including the countries that you don't know how to pronounce, that you don't even know truly exist, because I show up to events, and I've been to every event, which we have every 90 days, since the inception, you know, of the first event, and I will be the first to tell you, there's people literally from all over the world, from all different walks of life, people like Sarita Cleese, who just inspires me, right?

Her why was her little kids, she didn't want to put her kids through daycare, right? She's not the only one, George Breyer got started, right? He humbled himself, he attended the events, he followed the eight core commitments, and I believe that success leaves clues, that's why I'm showing you different examples. Mike Hobbs, one of my favorite mentors I have ever had the privilege to work so closely with, he's close to 900,000 in commissions, and of course, our income disclosure result's not typical, but I know he's going to hit a million dollars by the time of our next event, and I know it doesn't make sense, and he'll be the first to tell you, it doesn't make sense that I'll, you know, achieve these numbers, but he's like, I'm going to reach for the stars, and if I land on the moon, so be it, but I'm shooting for it, and I just want to say I believe in you, Mike, because you've impacted so many lives. Yes, here I am, how are you doing Justin?

You're doing fantastic man, why don't you take it away and just share, this is your first time ever coming out in the Empower Hour, so a lot of people have never heard your story before, I'm anxious to hear it again, my friend. Wow, wow, thank you, thank you, my name is Jaime Diaz, and yeah, like Justin said, this is my very, very first time on the Empower Call, I would like to say thank you to everyone who is in this call tonight, and I want to share a little bit of myself, my story, like Justin said, everything happened in the last event was amazing, but I want to go a little bit back, I'm really excited, I know my energy is going to be more fluent, but right now I'm super, super excited, wow. So, welcome to everyone, first of all, once again, my name is Jaime Diaz, I'm originally from Chile, but I live in Puerto Rico, with my beautiful wife, and I want to tell you a little bit more about myself, I'm a chef, I know how to cook, I didn't know anything about network marketing or internet, the only thing I knew was how to check my email and maybe just playing around on Facebook or playing games, stuff like that, and that was all I knew, so what happened, I used to work on a cruise ship as a DJ, first as a cook, but that was very hard, many hours every day, and then I became a DJ, I was playing and partying, having a good time on the ships, on the cruise ships, and one day I see this beautiful lady, but it wasn't the club, it wasn't the disco, it was on the upper deck, you know, by the pool, if you ever cruise or you see a photo of the cruise ships, we were by the pool, and I just started talking to her, and short story, that was on December 2009, so next month, on January, I have my vacation, after like eight or nine months, working on that cruise ship, and I decided to visit her in Puerto Rico, instead of going, well, I went to Chile first for like a couple of weeks, and then I came to Puerto Rico, we stayed together, short story, after four months, we got married, was a little bit fast, but it's been like almost six years, the most happy years of my life, and it's different because I was on a cruise ship floating on the ocean for many years, the only thing I knew at that time was like being a DJ, working, partying, going to the beach, and then I realized at some point I was on land, I need to find a job, I need to pay bills, because we don't pay bills on the ship, so you know, and yeah, so I started working as a waiter, okay, here in Puerto Rico, I saved some money, and I opened a little place, a little restaurant, okay, super, super small, like 10 by 10 feet, 10 by 10 feet is like three by three meters, and we started selling burgers, after two years, it was a big, big restaurant, I rented the whole building, and I was making like fair money, but I didn't have any life, I was there the whole day, I don't know if you know anyone who owns a restaurant, it's a beautiful thing, you serve people, you cook, I love cooking because I'm a chef, but it's kind of, I didn't have any life, I wake up at six in the morning, work the whole day, no day off, because I work for two years, from Monday to Sunday, every single day, from six to like midnight, sleep very few hours, but it was my dream at that time, and something happened that I lost my restaurant, okay, one guy came to my restaurant and gave me some checks with no funds, and I lost everything in like two days, and I said, you know, I say, well, I'm going to find something else, so the next day, I found a job as a manager of another restaurant, so I started saving money again, now, I bought a food truck, okay, a little car, where we serve food in the street, I have this food truck, that was on November 2014, no, September 2014, and after a month, I didn't feel so well, and one day, I feel dizzy, I feel like my heart was going to explode, and I say, Llorida, something is wrong here, take me to the hospital, I would have a hospital, like, across the street, but he said, don't take me to that one, something is wrong here, I don't feel that well, I feel super bad, so take me to the main hospital of Puerto Rico, which is like 20 minutes from here, 15 minutes, so we were there, and I was having a cardiac attack, okay, I was dying, and I was like, and the only thing I remember, I was looking at the nurse, and she was calling emergency, like, we need a doctor, we need a doctor, and I was getting injections, pills in my mouth, they put me oxygen, and the nurse started preaching, praying, praying to God, she was like, please, God, don't take Jaime, let him stay a little bit more, and I say, I'm done, that's it. I don't know, but it was very tough, I mean, it's true that you can see your whole life in seconds, I see my whole life in seconds, and finally, I survived, so that's why I'm here, and they took me to a room in that hospital, and I stayed there for a week, but I'm a super hard worker, so I stayed there for a week, and when the doctor said, okay, you can go home, that was at 4 p.m. on a Friday night, I mean, Friday afternoon, 4 p.m., and I went to work, and I went to the food truck until 5 a.m., so I was playing with my life, and I say, if something happens to me, I'm going to die if it happens again, that's what the doctors say, I mean, you need to take care of yourself, you may not survive for a second one, so I say, whatever, so I went to the food truck, and I say, guys, we're going to sell this food truck, I took the money, I sold the food truck in a couple of days, I took the money, and I went to Chile on vacation, okay, for a month, just to see my family, and say, just thinking that I was going to die, I don't know why, but that's what I thought, so I went there, I started spending money, drinking, eating, I went overweight, and one day, one of my old friends say, what are you going to do with your life?

And I stop, and I think, and I say, I'm being selfish, I have a wife, I have a family, I have people who care about me, and I just stop, I say, you know, I'm going to be someone else, and then, see why it's so important to blog. I remember that on my email, I was receiving notifications from one guy who was doing free diving, if you don't know what free diving is, it's like scuba diving, but with no tanks, with no air, that's what I do, I can go deep, like 70, 80 meters in just one breath, so I was looking for some techniques, and it was a blog, and I remember, oh, this guy says he can work online, and I went to, I was looking for that email, and I found that email, so I said, okay, Empower Network, okay, let me take a look at this, because the doctors say I cannot have any stress, because of my heart, and I start losing weight, I feel more healthy, I kind of change my mind, I say, okay, I'm going to do this. So, in the first week of January, I say, okay, I'm going to sign up on this new thing, and I'm going to tell Lloyda. Many of you, maybe been through this situation, like, I'm going to tell my wife, I'm going to tell my husband, I'm getting into this, so I called Lloyda, and I said, Lloyda, you need to watch this video. Look at this guy, look at these people, they work online, they travel around the world, you work from home, this, that, and she was looking at me like, okay, just trust me, any business that I do, I'm being successful, I'm going to be successful on this one, because I say I'm going to have to do it.

So, that was... second week of January last year, 2015, and my sponsor at that time, Erica, still my sponsor, but she told me, you need to go to an event, and I was like, an event? Yeah, you need to go, and you want to meet people, and you want to find yourself there, and this and that. And I was like, okay, I'm going to go. I didn't have the money, so many people say we don't have the money to start the business.

I'm going to be honest. I was a super fan of free diving, and I sold all my stuff, everything, everything, okay? My fins, my swimsuit, yeah? I sold everything, right? My snorkel stuff, and I said, my, yeah, my spear gun, and I went to that event.

I stayed in a very little, little hotel, okay, and I went to that hotel, and I saw so many people, and I was like, wow, all these people from around the world, and, yeah, so, I need, I, at some point, they say, okay, who wants to talk, and I say, give me the mic. Trust me, I didn't know, I didn't know anything. I never did any network marketing, nothing online, nothing at all, just a totally new guy, just a week in the business, and I took the mic and said, I'm going to do, I'm going to do whatever it takes to make it happen, and I stand in front of everyone, and I have the record of that, I have the video, but I was so nervous, and my accent is super strong, like Spanish accent, if you can notice, so I was, like, shaking, like, I'm really nervous, I don't know what to say, and I was like, okay, so that's what I say, and then I start learning, applying, listening to the commitment, and it was one month, two months, a couple of sales here, a couple of sales there, on this same business, but nothing like super big, and every night I come here, and look at me on the computer, I say, what are you doing, I'm working on this, I'm studying, I'm not going to quit, I'm going to make it, and I have to be honest, I went to every single event, and the next event was, okay, in the first event, I went by myself, because we didn't have the money to go together, it was only me on that event, so for the next one, we saved some money, and we went together, right, it was in Nashville, all right, like the event we have in a couple of months, and we went to Nashville, and it was so super cool, I bring my wife, everything was fine, and then, I didn't have the result that I want, okay, I wasn't focused, and it was June, I was like, oh, another event, and I say, I may just sit from here on a live stream, or maybe, I don't know, I don't know if I have to go, and I have one sign up, a guy from Chile, who said, I'm going to that event, I say, okay, I'm not going to let this guy go by himself, I have to go, so I went to that event, and that's why it's so powerful to go to the event, because I look at the people on the stage, I say, what am I doing? I say, six months ago, I will do whatever it takes, and I was hesitating, like, I hesitate, I say, I don't know, now I'm here, looking at the stage, looking at Justin, looking at Alex, looking at David, saying, if they're on the stage, I'm going to be on the stage, you know, I'm going to make it, and I took the decision, like, many of you, some people go to the event, looking for the secret, what is the secret? I want to know the secret of this, okay, tell me, what is the key that I have to press on my laptop?

Give me the secret software, the secret thing that you have on the internet to have a lot of results, a lot of conversion, a lot of leads, and to be honest, the secret is inside of every single of you guys and girls, the secret is inside of you. Yeah, totally, Jaime, bring her out, we'd love to hear from Lloyda. Awesome, so here is Lloyda Rodriguez. And don't get me wrong. We're crazy on different weird levels, but we're not that crazy to be insane to expect a different result if we're unwilling to change on the inside. And that's really what the Empower Network is about. I would describe this beautiful community as a personal development community about creating change within, because Mahatma Gandhi said it best, you must first become the change that you want to see. You can't, like, we all want to change the world, but the truth is we can't expect to change the world if we can't even change ourselves first.

You know what I mean? You gotta secure your own oxygen mask before you can start helping other people breathe. You know what I mean? You gotta, you know, savor yourself from the drowning waterfall before you can expect to save others from the drowning waterfall. And that's actually a true life story I didn't even get into.

You know what I mean? But if you come into this and you just focus on what you want, you will get it 100% of the time. You know what I mean? The people who fail, lack mentality comes in because they stop following their eight core commitments. Like, I had this dude, he was so pumped up.

He got started, like, a few days ago, and he, like, wrote me all these messages on Facebook how, like, pumped up and all the great things he was going to do here. And then today I get an email, it said refund notification, and noted he joined for $7 to test drive the thing to begin with, so. But nonetheless, I'm like, dude, I didn't expect you to, like, you know, quit so fast. I just got the notification. And he's like, yeah.

He's like, I really, you know, and he's convinced himself how focused he still is here after he refunded and quit. And he's like, this is like, this is it. I'm gonna focus here. And I'm like, you just refunded, like, what's the logic? And then he's like, well, my mom is like, you know, I don't have access to the computer like I did because my mom is doing stuff on it, and so I don't think it's the right time.

And then I was just blunt with him. And I'm like, dude, you're an entrepreneur. I'm like, depending upon having internet time from your mom's computer will get you nowhere fast. Does that make any sense? You'd be dependent upon using the internet when your mom allows you to.

Like, you're an entrepreneur. Grow up, right? I said, go buy a computer on Craigslist that's used for $50 or on eBay, or go to Best Buy for 100 bucks. Buy yourself a computer and stop telling yourself these BS excuses that you keep repeating to yourself, justifying your lame activity. You know what I mean?

Of starting something and quitting within a week. I could almost guarantee you this individual got started and was thinking about the lack in his life and what he didn't have, and he let it get the best of him. And it's quite sad, but it's true. You know, belief is the biggest determining factor to your success, so if you actually have the belief with 100% certainty on what you want, you're focused on the breakthrough on the other side, and you just take action, and you keep an open mind, and you let go of all the past and all the hurt and all the pain, and just let the BS go, it's gonna be easy to succeed. Because I've witnessed so many people have transformations time and time and time again, the majority of which started from the bottom, just like Jamie and Lloyda, they started from nothing.

David Woods was living in a van prior to starting in Power Network Homeless. We were struggling to afford our rent for a few hundred dollars a month. We started from nothing, but that doesn't have to defy where we go in the future, because it's all depending upon your focus. So my big takeaway for you this evening is what you focus on, you get more of. So if you do decide to lock arms, because we're not looking for everybody, we're just looking for the right people, right?

If a message tonight resonated with you at some capacity, then you are the right fit, and you can lock arms and get started. And if that's you, get into this with the mindset of winning triumphantly, victory, right? There is no plan B, there is no I'm just going to try it and focus on the fire, because it hurts so bad and I love feeling hurt, you know what I mean? Because that doesn't get you anywhere. It definitely doesn't net you any results.

Success is pure mindset followed by actions depending upon the belief that you create. And again, your actions will follow your belief. And here's an example, and this is a good example. I share this a lot when we do new coaching sessions. I'm like, if I had the winning Powerball ticket, and let's just say it was worth $100 million.

I don't know what Powerball is really worth because I don't follow it, but I know sometimes it gets really big, right? Because I see some people when I go to the gas station to get like gas, and there's a line outside the door. I'm like, what in the world? And then I'm like, all these broke people buying lottery, hoping for a lottery ticket, you know, victory, which is unfortunate because I hear it's like easier to get struck by lightning twice, you know? We're actually hitting the Powerball, there's something like that.

But meanwhile, people just continue to repeat the same thing, expecting a different result. And I'm just like, I just don't understand that level of thinking. But back to the analogy here, if I had the winning Powerball ticket, and I'm like, I'm gonna give this to you. All you gotta do is give me $5,000 by tomorrow, no ifs, ands, or buts. You'll have a winning lottery ticket worth $100 million, and you can do whatever you like with it.

Start fantasizing, write it down, have fun with it, right? I could almost guarantee you, probably within a couple hours, that individual is going to give me $5,000. Even if he was a homeless person, or a bum, or had no rapport in life, or no influence, he would figure out something to sell, you know what I mean? Or figure out how to borrow it from somebody. Because when you believe in what you're doing, you'll manifest the result of your belief.

So if you're going to join, I want you to imagine, and maybe this is the biggest reason why people fail, especially in our industry and in our business, it's so inexpensive to get started, and the potential is limitless, limitless. You know what I mean? The top income earners haven't even got started yet, right? You know what I mean? The people who will earn the most money here, and I truly believe that.

It's limitless to what you can create when you start functioning in a limitless reality that becomes true. You start to live that reality, right? So just have that mindset when you believe in something with 100% certainty, and you already understand that you'll attract that situation because you'll gravitate towards it just by default. It just so happens to be that way. And I know life has shown me that time and time again with the law of attraction.

If I focus on it, and I believe that it's possible, and I just humble myself to listening to those who are achieving it, I always achieve the end result, no if, ands, or buts. So I stop questioning it, right? I don't need to question it because I understand now, a little bit at least, how the universe works. And it works with you will attract whatever you are thinking about. So if you're thinking about succeeding, if you're thinking about running with us, go ahead and lock arms and don't look the other way.

Don't let the devil get inside your level. You know what I mean? Let go of that at the door and keep an open mind and speak through love and download through love just from accepting other people and accepting the answer. And it's okay to ask the universe. It's okay to ask God for an answer.

And it's like speaking to God, and this is something I shared on Facebook recently, speaking to God is called prayer. Listening to God is called meditation. And sometimes that's all it takes to get to the next level. It's listening to that inner voice inside of you that really sometimes cannot even be explained, but it's just the mystic way of the universe and the way things are, you know what I mean? But nonetheless, Dave, if you're listening in, brother, if you're on the line and you wanna pop out here and share whatever is on your mind, I know we've gone for over the hour, but I'm just always pumped up to hear from you.

Hey man, can you hear me okay? Loud and clear. Well, there's not much more else I could really say. I always love listening to you as well. I've gotta get one of those studio mics to hook in to these conferences because your audio comes through so clear and it makes it easier to listen to.

So I was just enjoying listening to you and I always love your stories. And I love that you're in the trenches, you know? And that's the thing I want everybody here to understand is that on these calls, we bring people to you, they're in the trenches, they're working, they're fighting for their dreams and their goals and their vision. And they have struggles just like you. I think that when we get started in a business like this, that we don't realize that all of the problems that we're gonna go through, all the problems we're going through right now, there's somebody else in the company that has been through those same problems and they've overcome and come out the other side.

Every excuse somebody uses to quit, somebody else overcomes. And therefore, no excuses matter in the end of the day. The only thing that matters is do you persevere? I remember I was at the event and I was, this was in Miami with the leaders, and I was talking about how to close people. And I said, you know, everybody makes excuses.

Watch this. And I said, who in here said I have to talk to my wife before I join? And like, it was like 40% of the room raised their hand. And I said, what does that show? It shows the people who say I've gotta talk to my wife, they join anyways after they do.

And sometimes they actually join before they do, right? And I went through all the excuses and there was people in the room who didn't have money, there was people in the room who didn't have any time, there was people in the room who were on their last rope financially, there was people in the room that just needed something to change, but they didn't really believe in themselves when they got started. And it was getting started and getting involved in the process that enabled them to have the breakthrough, to have the change of heart, to have the change of mind, to have the change of spirit that they needed to succeed. And that's what this is really all about, that's what Empower Network is all about. And sometimes people get in and they don't get that, that the real message of this company, the real heart of this company is to help you to transform, to help you to be empowered.

And you say empowered to do what? Empowered to live the life you wanna live, whatever that means to you. And I don't know what that means to you, it could be something different than it means to me because I've got different dreams and goals than other people have. I know not everybody who joins Empower Network wants to move to a foreign country and be able to travel the world and kind of work part-time on the internet, but a lot of people do. I know not everybody wants to live in a big house, but some people do.

I know not everybody wants to drive really nice cars, but there are some people that do. But whatever your dreams are, whatever your goals are, if time and money were not an issue for you, what would you do? And that, my friends, brings you to a different space. That is being empowered. I like to liken it to a drowning man, and Justin is always great with this metaphor because he did almost drown before he succeeded, and everybody knows that story, but if you don't, you can join, and somewhere in the joining process in the back office you'll discover that story.

But the thing is that society is like a bunch of drowning people, and when you're drowning, what do you think about? You think about air, right? You're struggling, your arms are flailing, all you can think about is breathing that next breath. Just surviving, that's all you can think about. And the system puts people in the world in a life that's like that.

You know what I mean? It's like how Jamie was before he hit gold and got involved in Power Network, how Justin was when he joined Power Network. I mean, he was barely breathing financially. He almost drowned near my house, but he also almost drowned in life. Life was overwhelming him, and all he could think about was the rabbit wheel he was on, the next phone call, the next this, the next that, and just trying to make it.

I remember when I was getting involved in the online space, I was in that space too. I was broken, you know? I wasn't just broken financially, I was broken inside my spirit. I was broken to a point where, I mean, I wasn't just broke, I was broken. And sometimes in life you've got to reach a low like that before you just change.

You've gotta be broken, right, to be reborn. And I was in a space where I failed and failed and failed and failed and failed and failed and failed. And I just wanted to make it. And I remember living in a van and getting tickets for the last money I have in my account, and then borrowing money to get a laptop to start a business on the internet. And I was like, Justin said, here's one guy that's making an excuse because his mom won't let him use the internet.

And I borrowed money from my mom to get a computer and then moved into her house from my van to get my business started online in 2009. So his excuse was my victory. So I want you to understand that every time somebody makes an excuse, there's someone else that didn't make that excuse. They made that their reason. See, I didn't make the fact that I had to utilize my parents' resources to get started an excuse, I made it my reason.

Because I said, I am not gonna live my entire life broken like this anymore. I'm tired of being tired. I'm tired of answering to bosses who really, you know, I'm not in alignment with their vision. I'm tired of going out there and half-assing my life. And so I stopped making excuses and I started turning my environment and all the things that were happening, whether they were good or bad, into reasons to propel me to succeed.

I used the van that I lived in as a reason. I used the fact that I had to borrow money from my mom as a reason to succeed. Because I didn't wanna be 38 10 years later and still have to borrow money from my parents. I didn't wanna be in the same spot 10 years later. So whatever excuse you've been giving yourself, if you've been giving yourself any, I hope you're past that point.

Understand that it's not a good excuse to stop yourself from success. The question is not what is happening in your environment, the question is how are you gonna utilize that to break through? And that's what I decided to do in 2009. I decided that I was gonna have dominion over my environment. I decided that I was gonna have dominion over my business.

I decided that I was gonna be the visionary in the front of my business. It didn't matter if I was selling other people's products. I was gonna be the vision that people were following. I'd been following other people's visions. I had been listening to their audios and tapes.

I had been going to their events and I had been caught up in their visions. But I decided that I was gonna have the vision. Before you really step into success, you gotta realize something, that you've gotta become the vision, that you've gotta become the outcome, that you've gotta become the leader, that you've gotta learn how to speak life into people. And that's what I started to do in 2009. If I had listened to the audios, I had read the book, but I decided to become the person who had written the book.

I decided to become the person that had listened to the audios. I decided that I was going to accomplish my dreams and goals so that's it, period, and nothing was gonna stop me. I am going to sponsor two people a day in my business. That's it, period. I am going to move to the beaches of the world and drink out of coconuts and make residual income on the internet, whether I work or not.

And that income disclosure plainly declares that the average people of the world who quit things don't succeed. I like the story from Justin, the man who got on the phone and he said, you know what, I'm gonna do it, but not now, now is not the time. Well, it's not about whether the time is now, it matters whether you're gonna make now the time. And that's what you gotta realize is that you don't need to wait two to five years.

You don't need to wait until some sort of miracle happens in the economy. You don't need to wait to see who gets in office in the United States and who's gonna win the debate. You don't need to wait to see who's gonna win the football game and what's gonna happen and is there gonna be a burst of cash that comes into your life from your tax returns and is that gonna allow you to get the next product? You don't need to wait for your environment. You need to go into your environment and say, how can I utilize this environment to propel me to the next level?

How can I utilize this environment to create my story? How can I utilize my environment and the resources I've got to get to the place in my business that I don't got yet, right? Because that's what this is about. You've gotta realize something if you're on this call, if you're listening to this, is you're listening to a person that has been through every struggle that you've been through. Now, I might not have been through the exact same struggle but I've been through something like it and that's why I'm successful because I decided to utilize that struggle to get to the next level.

I've been through bouts of depression. I've been through periods where I wanted to quit. I've been through periods where everyone around me didn't believe that it would work and I was the only one left. I've been through financial disasters. Way bigger than most of the financial disasters.

Most people on this call have been through and I've persevered through it all and I've decided through all those things and through every obstacle that's coming my way that I am going to persevere and I've utilized those obstacles as things and said, what can I learn from this to make me get to my outcome bigger, better, and faster, right, and that's what you hear when you hear Justin on the call. You hear somebody confident, an archetype of a leader. You hear somebody that speaks with truth and speaks with impact and they speak. You can almost hear his words as you feel them reverberating inside your soul. It's like they have a ring of truth to them.

He speaks with power, he speaks with authority and how does he do that? It's because he is the visionary in his business. Does that make sense to everybody on the call? So, I'm not gonna speak a lot, guys. I want you to just realize something that you're in the right place at the right time with the right group of people who cares about your success and your future, who really wants you to step into your personal empowerment.

You are with people that care about you. You're with people who want you to succeed and I wanna do something, I wanna speak belief into you and I want you to realize something. That when I say I don't believe in you, it's not just something I'm saying. I do believe in you because I fundamentally do not believe that I'm better than you. I believe that we might have different abilities, we might have different backgrounds, but fundamentally, I'm not better than you and I don't believe I'm worse and I believe in myself.

Therefore, I have to believe in you. I believe that you can do anything I can do. Maybe in a different way, but you can do it. When you listen to these calls, when you listen to Justin Berenjia, when you listen to Lawrence Tam, if you listen to Aaron Rashkin or Tracy Walker, right? If you listen to Alex and Anna, if you listen to all of the different leaders that have went before you, what you're gonna hear is you're gonna hear commonalities between them all and you're also gonna hear some big differences.

You'll hear the story of a hippie, you'll hear the story of an engineer, you'll hear the story of somebody who was a personal trainer. You'll hear the story of a single mom. You'll hear stories of devastation before somebody had a breakthrough. And all these stories are there to paint one thing for you and that's an image of where you can go. And I hope you're never hearing us say, look what we've done when we're talking about these stories.

I hope what you're hearing us say is look what you can do, look what you can accomplish, look what you can step into, look at the vision that you can create if you decide to not make excuses based on your environment but to utilize what you've got in your environment to propel you to the next level. I promise there are people in Empower Network who joined who are broker than you and who went all in. I promise you that there are people that got into Empower Network with less skills than you have on the internet and they still got to a level where they're making five or ten thousand dollars a month. I promise you that not all the people at the top of Empower Network have a higher intelligence than you. I promise you that there's people with a lower IQ than you and you know what it doesn't matter because they're determined and they're willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

I promise you the excuse that you've been making has been the reason somebody else has been using to succeed and that's an important distinction is to not make excuses to reverse them. I don't make excuses and rather than make up reasons why I can't, I just make up reasons why I can't. It's just as easy but one of them actually helps you to accomplish the outcomes you seek. So guys, here's what I want you to do, everybody on the call. What do you got to do if you're new here?

Number one, just get in. Just get in. If you're still listening to this call, it's because you want to do this and I'm just going to tell you that boldly. Why? Because I know.

Because I've been on the call. I've been sitting there and standing there and pacing back and forth on conference calls in my past and saying, I know I can do this but is this for me? I've been on a page with a buy now button nervous because I've tried things in the past and they didn't work out and you know what? The truth is later I learned is that they didn't work out because I didn't work out. They didn't work out because I didn't know what to do.

They didn't work out because I wasn't in the right system and I didn't have the right information or they didn't work out because I wasn't in the right place in my life but I've been on that page nervous after all those things. I've been in a space where it's like I don't have any money. I've got to ask the spouse. I've been in a space where I've just been broken and I had to rebuild myself. I've been in a space where I've been nervous about my future but you know what?

I decided to take action anyway. I decided that I was going to break through anyway. I decided that I was going to speak with power and authority and that I was going to speak from a place of vision and I just joined anyway and I decided to get started. And you know what you've got to do then? Get started.

Number two, when you get in your back office, there's a really simple process that you need to follow. There's a welcome video. You need to watch the welcome video because it's going to introduce you into what's next. Number two, there's a fast start training. You need to get to that fast start training immediately in your first few hours of getting started.

Look, people a lot of times they discount the simple things and the reason they discount the simple things is not because they're successful. The reason they discount the simple things is because they're not successful and they're looking for something that isn't there. See, when you discount the simple things, you're discounting the steps to success and those things are the first steps to success in the fast start training. You need to go through and watch all those videos. I'm talking right when you get started, you need to watch those videos.

It's only going to take you a little over an hour. That's going to orient you into our culture. It's going to show you what to do next and what you need to do, what calls you need to be on. It's going to show you what you actually need to do on a daily basis in your business. It's the simple things that matter because I'm going to tell you something guys.

Succeeding in this is simple and failing is ultra complex, right? And a lot of people reverse that. They think that success is complex, but the reality is that failure is more complex than success. Failure takes a lot more meandering around the internet looking for a solution that isn't there. Failure takes buying a lot of courses and books and tapes and audios that you don't really need and not focusing on the things that you do.

Failure involves all the time looking for a secret and all the time questioning yourself and never being sure about your direction, your outcome and your vision. Failure involves doing lots of things but not being good at anything. Success involves a few little simple things that you just need to do every day and the key is all those things are actually easy to do, but they're also easy not to do. It's easy to let the world float by. It's easy to get up and to not work out.

It's also easy to work out for 30 minutes in the morning, but why don't more people do it every day? They don't do it because it's easy to ignore the simple things that make you successful, okay? But if you're willing to follow those steps and just go through, that will orient you. You need to watch all those videos. There's a form, a worksheet.

You need to download. Download the worksheet. Actually fill it out. Upload it back to our site because that's how your sponsor is going to help you. Look, if you're not willing to follow those steps, your sponsor can't help you.

A lot of times people reach out to me and they say, hey David, can you help me? And I say, have you watched those videos and filled out that form? And they say no. Then I say, yes, I will help you if you go watch those videos and fill out that form and then hit me back. And sometimes they hit me back and sometimes they don't.

Because they're looking for me to give them a magical key but they're not willing to be the magical key to unlock the gateway to their future. They're not willing to step into the little things that they need to do every day. What did I do today? I woke up. I worked out while I was listening to audio.

After I worked out, I read for 30 minutes, right? Then what did I do? I got on and I marketed my business. I made a video to put on a blog post. All the things that I talk about in those Fast Start videos, the simple things that paint the pathway to your success.

And if you're willing to do the simple things, you will build success not in a day but you'll build it in your life daily. And that's what you've got. If you're on this call, I want you to realize something. That the empire that you want to build is literally sitting right in front of you and all you've got to do is to start constructing it a little bit day by day. And it starts with constructing a new you, with constructing a new what you can do, right?

By changing what's inside your heart and your mind. And a lot of people who come in, they don't take that stuff absolutely seriously like I do. But you know what? All the leaders do take it seriously. All the leaders take personal development seriously like their life depends on it.

You want to know why they treat it like that? They treat it like that because their life depends on it. Because their life depends on it. Because their kids depend on it. Because their spouse depends on their personal development.

That's why they treat it seriously because their income depends on their growth. And that's what you learn in this industry, that you get paid exactly what you're worth in the marketplace. It's a hard thing sometimes to accept that. But what are you getting paid in the marketplace? You're getting paid for the value that you're bringing.

And if you're not getting paid a lot, it's because you need to learn to bring more value to the marketplace. And by increasing and growing you, you're increasing and growing your value. And that's why we teach people the things that we teach them. Because I don't want you to just be empowered to get a commission. I want you to be empowered to change your life.

To change your life. To change your future. To change what you can do. To change your environment. To change where you live.

To change the people around you if you want. To change the whole picture of your life. To paint a new beautiful painting of your existence. That's what Empower Network is here to do. It's here to make you the architect.

You can become the commander of your own destiny. You can become the commander of your future. You can change it and you can build it up the way that you want. Like you're constructing worlds with your mind. That is what being empowered is really all about.

It's not just about getting a commission from. Although you can get commissions along the way. Lots of them when you learn what to do. Right? So, I want to help you.
