I mean, I could just end my speech now by saying, buy everything. Just skip over it all, right? That's actually how we should do things. Just do a call to action and just get it out of the way, and then afterward give value, you know, to the people who buy. No, I'm just kidding.

Who thought it was funny? Anybody see that credit card video with me and Keala? Oh, man, funniest thing ever. You know, here's why I'm excited, guys. I mean, I could give you 800,000 reasons why I'm excited, probably.

Why I'm the most excited, though, is because this is our biggest week ever. Pretty big deal. Pretty big deal. Smallest event ever, you know. But that's a good thing, because we get a chance to meet all of you.

But also, this is the biggest week ever. That means the biggest checks ever, biggest days ever, right? And the most excitement ever, right? Hopefully you guys are excited from this week, right? Now, sometimes you're in this spot, and there's somebody in the room like this, and you're here, and you feel like it's passing you by, you know?

And I've been there. I've been there. And I want to talk to you for a second, because there's somebody in the room, and you're seeing people coming up on the stage, and you're hearing stories about somebody who made 5,000 this week and 10,000 this week and 20,000 this week, and you're like, I just need to make my first sale. You know? You know?

What am I doing wrong? Right? What am I doing wrong? And I want to talk to that for a minute, because I've been there. I've been there.

I remember being in the back of a room of 15,000 people in Long Beach, California, and looking up on the stage, seeing people cross the stage. New Platinums. You know, a couple of you have been in Amway. You know, new Platinums and new Rubies and Emeralds and all these weird stone names. I just like to call them all stoners and get it over with.

And you're sitting there in the back, and you're like, okay, I'm on the auto ship. I'm coming to the meeting. I'm showing the plan. If one more one-legged, one-armed midget in a bikini crosses the stage, I'm going to kill everyone. You know, that was actually how I got exposed to network marketing.

I was in a bikini midget club. It's a weird thing they got in Alaska, you know what I mean? You know, it's a strip club but with midgets. I'm totally kidding. I actually really like those sound effects, you know what I mean?

I want to hire somebody to follow me around with instruments just to, you know, get a laugh track in the background. Somehow that actually increases laughing. You know, they have a hard time convincing the executives at TV stations to take that out of comedies because it's annoying to everyone. But at the same time, statistically, dramatically, it increases laughing somehow. Because you hear laughing and you start laughing hysterically.

Like, you know, the credit card thing. This is what happens is first people see that and they're kind of like this. They just start laughing and they buy. I don't know whose laugh that was, but that was like funny. That's awesome, that's awesome.

I might not be able to handle that very much more. I'm being self-conscious. So, you know, I'm 13 and I'm failing every class in school. Eight out of eight. I mean, we're talking like, you know, smart kid, you know what I'm saying?

I'm focused. I think it was mostly because I was skipping school, but it may also have been the pot. But, you know, so I'm getting eight out of eight classes. I mean, we're talking science, history, math, gym, Fs. Like, how do you fail at gym?

You skip every day, right? So I'm driving with my dad in the car and I've got a beanie hat on. And it's Alaska, it's freezing, right? So I need a hat and I'm like dressed up with everything, you know, and I got snow boots on and everything. And he's driving me to karate.

And my dad looks like he's getting progressively more and more irritated for a couple of minutes, right? And I don't, you know, know why he's irritated. He's like a wood guy, which means you have a short temper and blow up at everything, right? So not really. I think everything's hilarious.

But, you know, he'd get frustrated with stuff. Like his kids failing eight out of eight classes. I think I could understand that because I've got a kid. No. He finally just kind of explodes and then he goes, you've got to be the dumbest kid in the family.

I started laughing. My dad laughs like Marty McFly's dad, too. And some of you were born, like, before that movie. I'm starting to feel old now. I was like, yeah, Back to the Future.

I was telling Priscilla in Costa Rica about Back to the Future. I was like, what, you haven't seen that? And I was like, oh, wait, you were born in, like, 1989. I'm getting there. I'm getting there.

Soon I'll be listening to music and I'll be like this, and my son will be like, that was, like, from 400 years ago. And anyway, so I'm driving with my dad in the car, and he stomps his foot, you know, which made the car go a little bit like this, and then he's like, you've got to be the dumbest kid in the family. And I said, what are you talking about? And he said, you're failing eight out of eight classes. I mean, at least you got 100% in something.

I was like, how do you fail eighth grade history? This is like the United States is a couple hundred years old, but we're not going to be specific because you're only in eighth grade. And I was laughing. What does this have to do with anything? And he says, look, you might think maybe you're a 13-year-old now, but eventually you're going to have a family and kids and a wife.

I hope. I hope someone will love you, because it's hard. He's sarcastic, right? Some of you are like, what an abusive father. No, your father was abusive.

He was just sarcastic. And he says, how are you going to support your family if you don't go to school, get a job, get a profession? What are you going to do? And I said, you're telling me those dumb, boring history classes and that math class has something to do with making money, because I can't figure it out. So if I have to go to do this to do what you do for a living, I'll be poor.

Thank you very much. So why don't you tell me something I can do for a living without going to school? How about that? Now, I was expecting to be left alone at that point, which is really why I said it. I'll just tell them I'll be a failure and get it over with, and that's what I'm looking for.

Leave me alone. So next Thursday, my dad comes in my room, throws a suit at me, and says, put that on. We're going to a meeting. And I think I was playing a video game or reading some weird book. I was reading weird personal development books, even when I was failing all my classes.

It was funny. I'd skip school and go read Carlos Castaneda or Astral Projection for Beginners or some weird thing like that. How to Teleport. I got my first Tony Robbins course when I was 12. I actually stole it, funny enough, when I was 12, from Walden Books.

Tony worked there. I said, Tony, and I threw something over there and took a Tony Robbins course and went running. Now, the only reason I tell you about that is because when I was a kid, I shoplifted for, I think, a year or two, and then later in my life, I was a missionary. No, I was a missionary, and repentance was a big deal in the church I grew up in, and so I actually made a list of everybody that I ever stole from and paid them back at least double what I stole when I was 19. So I can talk about things like that freely and laugh about it because it's not a weight on my consciousness at all.

Sometimes you need to get rid of the past to open up a new future. So anyway, my dad throws a suit at me, and I reluctantly put it on and try to put the tie on, and then he's like, here, let me help you with that. I never figured that out until I was 19, and now I especially can't remember it. And I say, where are we going? He says, I'm taking you to a meeting.

So we drive down to the Salvation Army, and we go in this room, and there's all these bored-looking people in suits, and me, and my dad, and a homeless guy. I was like, that guy kind of looks homeless. My dad said, yeah, that's a homeless guy. He actually sleeps outside the courthouse. I said, what he's doing here?

My dad said, I don't know. So my dad went and talked to somebody, and he says, somebody said they'd give him dinner if he came to the meeting. Not the best prospecting strategy. Now, just because I'm homeless doesn't mean necessarily the best prospects. You know what I'm saying?

I mean, you're like, well, Dave was homeless. I'll go down to 2nd Street and prospect. Maybe I'll find a Dave Wood in my down line and get rich. So anyway, this guy walks in. Like the Jewish guy, and they go like this with their hat.

He's like one of these guys. He's like this, and he walks in like this. And I'm like, what am I at? I couldn't figure out where my dad had taken me. I thought it was some cult or something.

And this guy just starts talking and trying to tell jokes, but nobody thinks they're funny. And he's just talking stories for something like this, and then he starts talking about the dream and living on the beach. And I was like, it's Amway. Keep in mind, I'm 13. And so this guy's telling jokes and stories.

Now, this homeless guy keeps interrupting through the meeting. And there was only two guests, and this guy had flown up from Seattle or something. I just thought it was the funniest thing ever. I was like, why'd my dad take me to an Amway meeting? I'm 13.

What is this? This is that thing where there's soap in the closet downstairs, and we get that toothpaste that makes our teeth yellow. I said, what are we doing here? So this homeless guy is interrupting with the rudest questions ever. Who in here has ever done a home meeting?

Who in here has ever done a home meeting where it's like a presentation, not a video, like old school with a whiteboard, and somebody rude is there just constantly interrupting you? Anybody here ever done that? Where there's that guy who's like, this is a scam. Isn't this illegal? Why did you invite me over to this?

You're trying to get all of us in your scam. He's asking questions like that, which is making this guy burst into laughter. And it was actually funny watching the interaction between the two of these guys. Because there's this guy talking, and there's this homeless guy interrupting, and he bursts into laughter. And then nobody else thought it was funny except for me.

So I'm laughing. And so I think he figured that the only guest in the room was either homeless or 13, so his chances were shot. But then we get to the magical part of the presentation. Now this always happens if you've ever done a home meeting with a whiteboard in it. That's actually why we got that there.

I've got SA-8 in the back, and in a minute we're all getting an Amway. Somebody pass out the WSA-4400? Four of you thought that was funny. Yeah, I know who you are. You're like, wait, I wanted to sponsor these people.

So in any case, he gets to the magical part of the presentation and starts talking about the comp plan, which is impossible to understand. I mean, the goal is to confuse you in. You know what I mean? Am I really an Amway or not? Well, you don't know until you join.

Right? And so anyways, he gets to the comp plan, and this guy goes, how much money you making? Right? Now I was assuming this was like my dad, which was, of course, nothing in like 40 years. And I was like, yeah, this is it.

I just know it. I am going to make fun of him to no mercy after he answers this question. I actually thought he'd dodge the question and say I'm more excited than I've ever been in my life. Yeah, you've said that to people, haven't you? How much money you making?

I'm more excited than I've ever been in my life. My business is exploding. Yeah, you know I listen to the audios, right? So I listened to this Amway tape one time, and they were talking about this guy. This guy's name is Rocky, right?

And he used to write a check to your downline. You'd get a check from the company and write a check to your team. I was actually still doing that in 2005. Right? So anyways, this guy's talking about his team.

He's got this guy who's like a personal trainer at a gym, and these people just made fun of him ruthlessly. Just ruthless. He joined that thing. He's like, yeah, he's an Amway. Have fun selling your makeup and your vitamins and your soap.

You know, I've got big muscles, but I like makeup. They'd make fun of him ruthlessly, right? You know what I mean? That's what happens when you order all your vitamins and soap. You get a rebate, right?

And he goes to the gym with this gigantic manila envelope, and he goes, Billy, Billy, I got your Amway check, right? And Billy says, where? He says, over here. I got your Amway check. And then he says, I want that.

And he comes over, and everybody in the gym just shuts up. $1.42, right? Keep that in mind. And they say, how much do you make from that thing? And he says, you wouldn't even believe it if I told you.

So in any case, in any case, I'm in this room, and I'm like, this is the time, right? And then he says, how much do you make? And the guy says, well, it's not fair because, you know, and I'm like, here it comes. Come on, what's your answer? And he says, it's not fair because I'm only part-time.

I've only been doing it for like a year and a half or two years. And I'm a full-time realtor, so I'm just doing this part-time. Last year I made, and he turned around, and I said, here we go. And he wrote a two, and I was like, that's it, that's it. And he wrote out $220,000.

And I went from like, this is a teenager. So then next week I was out on Halloween, egging cars and houses with my friend Matt. You were a teenager too, come on, come on. Some of you are still teenagers, right? And, you know, he's 13, and, you know, so we're throwing an egg at a house, and, you know, somebody comes out screaming, and we run, and we're talking in between.

Normal 13-year-old stuff, you know. Some of you have 13-year-olds like, hey, they don't do that. Yeah, they don't steal the Sears catalog and look at half-nude photos either. Because they've got the internet, is why. So in any case...

He was in the computer room for an hour yesterday with the lights off. And then I got in and there was no internet history. What's he doing in there? You used to have to know what you were doing to delete your cookies and your internet history when you were a teenager, you know. So anyways...

So in any case, I'm, you know, talking with my friend, and I say, what do you want to do for a living? And he says, I'm going to be a firefighter. And I go... Firefighter. You know.

And he looked, like, legitimately... Because his mom was a firefighter. And I was like... And he was like, what's wrong with that? You know.

I was like, you are going to be poor, poor, poor. And he says... He says, what the frickin' heck are you going to do? And I said, I am going to be rich in Amway. Now, I never got made fun of more in my life.

By anyone more than Matt Linden. Chris knows him. Right? You remember Matt? Yeah.

Yeah. I never got made fun of more in my life than Matt Linden, except for when I joined Amway at 21 and tried to get him in the deal. Right? So the point is, is that I've been there. I was sitting back in 15,000 people in a room wondering, what am I doing wrong?

What am I doing wrong? You know? Nothing. You know? All you got is your best, and the reality is, is that most of you are doing a lot better than I did.

Right? A lot better. A lot better. My God. You know, some of you are like, man, I'm so frustrated.

You know? You guys want to know the real reason I quit that first company? Right? No, it's not. By the way, I'm never knocking Amway, really, because, I mean, it's like, yeah, those idiots who do $12 billion a year, I'm cool.

I like it when people actually knock a company that's bigger than theirs. You know what I mean? It's like, you know, it's like a short man syndrome, isn't it? Now, there's nothing wrong with short people if you're short. I actually like short people, but you all know what I'm talking about who are short.

You know what I'm saying? It's like, if you're smaller than everybody, you've got to prove yourself a little. You know what I mean? So it's like, you don't want to fight a short guy. Right?

If you're going to fight somebody, fight somebody tall. Short people are mean. I'm serious. I'm serious. You don't want to mess around.

You know what I mean? They're right at the level where they just grab the testicles. They don't even have to duck down underneath your punches. They just hit you in the ribs without ducking or anything. Right?

A lot of you guys are doing really good, though. This is what happened to me, and this is the truth, is I just wanted that thing fiercely. I mean, he used to call my upline. Like, he used to pick up the phone at like two in the morning and stuff, and I really thank my upline in Amway for a lot of my success. First person to ever really believe in me.

Parents believed in me. They're good parents. But the first person to ever really believe in me for just my dreams. You know what I mean? Like, he used to, I used to call that guy at like two in the morning, and he'd pick up the phone.

He'd be like, Dave, how you doing, man? I'd be like, I'm prospecting, and I'm mad this ain't working, and he'd say, Dave, keep it up. You'll get there. Big deal. You know?

I remembered that for six, seven years, when I was like, some of you are there, you know? And it kept me going, right? And you know, so this is what happened, is I was in that thing, and they were doing product pickup, and I'm like disorganized, like the biggest disorder. If you could imagine the most disorganized person that you've met. True story.

I have this lady working as a chef in my house. This is like a year ago, or a year and a half ago, or something like that. And she comes to one of our events to cook us food. What were the events? She was like a raw food chef, right?

Made this delicious raw food stuff. And you know, she comes to the event, and it's like, you know, the San Diego event. Any of you there? It's like 3,000 people at that event. And I get to the hotel, and they ask for a credit card.

And I was like, crap, you need a credit card. And I pull up this roller bag that I have, and I was like, I got to find something. Hold on a second. And I open, I was looking for a company credit card, and I opened up the zipper on there, and it was just filled with papers everywhere. And what I was looking for was the corporation had mailed me an in credit, you know, in Power Network credit card, right, to use for company expenses.

And of course, I just always spend stuff on my own personal corporations, because I never eat into the company finances for any of my stuff, so I never use it, right? So I'm sitting there, and I'm digging through these papers, like, trying to find this, like, thing, and she's like, what are you looking for? And I said, I'm looking for my company card. And she says, how big is this company? And I said, I don't know, like, last month, we did, like, four and a half million dollars or something, and I'm looking for, and she goes, what in the hell, how can you run a company?

Right? So I eventually find my Power Network card in there, and it's in the envelope, sealed, and I open it up, and I pull it out, and I say, here, and I give it to the lady, and she goes, you got to call that number and activate it. Right? So I'm in, you know, I'm in this company in 2002 to 2005, and they're still doing product pickup. Right?

Which, who in here knows what product pickup is? Right? For those of you who don't know what product pickup, this is, like, the coolest pitch ever. I'm going to get you in. Right?

So you get in a room, and you draw out the dream, and you're painting, and you're, like, we got this internet business that's so cool, where you, like, get this shopping mall on the internet, and it's, like, the most amazing thing ever. And then they get in, and they order their products from you on the phone on Sunday night and pick them up from your house on Wednesday. And then I'd write down the orders and call my upline and give him my order. Right? And then mail him a physical paper order form filled out by hand with a check.

And then on Wednesday, I would give the products to my downline, take their checks, and I'd have to run to the bank before my check was cashed to prevent it from bouncing. Right? So now that is a recipe for a person like me to just leak money everywhere. You know what I'm saying? It's, like, oh, wait, you ordered this, and what didn't you order?

And I was, like, you needed this product, but it's not here yet, so I'll refund that. And then you're just, like, looking at stacks of papers and wondering, you know, wondering, is there a light at the end of the tunnel, or is there just papers lined through my future? You know? And so what happened was is I was trying to get, like, my upline to send products back and to give me products that weren't delivered. This is a true story.

Right? I had, like, a whole room in my personal bedroom stacked with shelves with products for product pickup, because I had, like, ten people come over to my house on Wednesdays to get stuff from me, giving me checks and order forms. Right? You guys are, like, my God, why'd you stay in that thing? Well, I just was going to get ratched no matter what.

Right? So in any case, in any case, I start refunding people. Right? Just because I was so sick of dealing with it. Right?

And I was, like, it's okay, you know. I'll make the money when I'm a ruby. Now, some of you are laughing, but at the same time, you're blindly throwing money into advertising without tracking anything, saying, oh, I'll get the money back when, you know, when it works. Ouch. Not paying attention to your numbers.

You're doing the same thing I did in Amway. It's stupid. Ah, not so funny. Not so funny. Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, David, Mr.

Disorganizer, finding people on Amway. Oh, I'm going to go spend $10,000 on a lead cop. I'm going to get ratched. Less funny. Some of you are, like, that was not funny.

No blindly advertising without knowing what you're doing doesn't work. Now, unfortunately, unfortunately, and I got to, like, you know, say curses to the universe for this one. We're not a Ponzi scheme. Because I was hoping, actually, I'd just get in and throw money wildly and have it magically multiply without me doing anything. You know, I've been there.

So what happened was, is I actually was spending so much money, because I was doing a little bit of volume, that it ate away my whole check from the company and all my job income. I, in fact, got kicked out of my apartment. Yeah, right? And I've ran into some people in here, too, who you just keep spending and spending and spending and spending thinking, oh, it'll be fine when I'm making tons of money. You can only do that when you're making lots of money.

And then it's still stupid. Vic doesn't do that. You know? You see Vic blindly spending money on stuff? Right?

Why am I talking about this? Because I want to stop a behavior that I see people doing where people behave like this is magic or something. Now, don't get me wrong, I do have magical powers. Buy everything. She has magical powers.

I'm not going to tell you what she can do, but I'll tell you, it's weird. You guys remember that neck brace I had at last event? Right? So I'm wearing this neck brace, and Friday night, for whatever reason, I think it was hypnosis. Buy everything.

You know, for whatever reason, I'm wearing this neck brace and I don't have any pain Friday night. And so I give that whole speech pain-free. And I was in agonizing pain for the week. I had a compressed nerve. I actually never told anybody what was wrong with my back.

They were like, I'll tell you, I'll tell you. And then I never got around to it. So the stories just flew. But what happened, I had a compressed nerve, which means you have a herniated disc, it pushes into the nerves in your spine, right? And if any of you ever had something like that, compressed nerve in your spine?

It's like the most grueling thing ever, isn't it? It's like all the pain in your whole nerve all firing off at the same time like it's being stabbed with daggers, right? So I was in agony, so that thing was keeping pressure off my nerve. And for whatever reason, Friday night, I didn't have any pain. However, Saturday, I was in a lot of pain.

Sunday, too, when I went out at the end, some of you noticed it. My face is like this, right? I was like, hello, congratulations, on your million-dollar ring. So Saturday, I'm going out to my team thing, and I was in a lot of pain. And Lena comes and says, I'm an energy healer, come here, right?

And I'm in this pain, and I'm like this. And she touches my arm, and my back starts moving around on the inside. Now, I don't know how that worked or why I told you that story, but it was totally nuts. You've got magical powers, right? Yeah, it totally worked.

It was the weirdest thing ever, right? And that was totally awesome. Thank you for whatever you did with your magicry, or whatever it is. Give her a hand. So some of you guys are like, Dave, you're telling stories.

Get to the point. Here's what I want to do first. We're here for a while. I mean, I've got like eight hours to talk. What I want to do is I want to realize, you know, when you look at us sometimes, it's like you're like, man, what am I doing wrong?

It's frustrating. The reality is, though, you're just new. Okay? It's okay. You know?

Maybe you just don't know what to do yet. I mean, heck, if I had known some of this stuff back in 2002, it wouldn't have taken me seven years to make it. But it probably would have taken me one or two. Working my tail off. That's okay.

I didn't have it all together. I was confused about life in the universe, my future, and didn't have any clarity. So of course nobody's going to follow me. You know? Hey, let's go follow the confused guy over there.

Hey, look, somebody unsure about their future. Can I join something with you? Because I think we should start a cause together. It's called having no impact on anyone. Right?

See, people don't follow people without vision. So if you want people to follow you, you've got to have vision. You've got to have a dream. Right? People follow people with a dream.

Right? You look around, anybody that has a big following, especially if they keep it around. Right? Getting a following and keeping it around, by the way, two different things. Aren't they?

Who in here has built a following and lost it before? Two different things. One of the audios I listen to, and this is back in 2003, I think, and I can't remember the name of it. It was a guy named Ron Pereer. And he said, there's two parts of our business.

He says, building it, and keeping it around. He says, I'll tell you, building it is the easy thing. Right? And I was like, shut your trap. Because that's fine if you've got a big team and you're struggling to keep it together, to hear something like that.

You're like, oh, okay, I got it. But when you're out there trying to get people in and some idiot says it's easy, you just want to tear their head off. You're like, this is not easy! This is not easy! Right?

He's all been there. Standing in the back of the room, having some guy talk about how he just broke his 400th diamond, you know. Another guy crosses across the stage making 5,000 this week. I need to get to the ceiling. The truth is, you never know the story.

You never know the story. You don't know Vic's story. Maybe you know some of it. I'll tell you, that man's been through some pain to get where he's at. And I'll tell you, he works harder than about anybody in here, too.

Because he's got a dream. Right? And he's willing to work on himself. He's willing to fix things. And he's willing to take advice.

And you know what the interesting thing about Vic is? He makes more money than anybody in here. And the interesting thing is, he's also like the fastest implementer I know. I see him learn new stuff all the time and immediately change things. Immediately.

Right? And here's an interesting thing. Here he is, you know, at the top, you know, with this big team making all this money. And guess what he's still doing? He's still giving the most value.

Right? He's still giving and giving and giving and giving. He still learns something and he gives it. He still learns something and he gives it. You really want to know how to attract people?

Super easy, actually. And I want you guys to think about this here for a second. You just give value to people and solve their problems. And love them. Right?

Now, it is difficult to keep people around you if you don't like people. Right? Legitimately. If you don't like people, right? And you're like, ah, suckers.

Right? You see people and you see a dollar sign on their forehead, ah, my next commission. Thank you. People see through it. Right?

People see through it. People also see a genuine heart. Even when they're skeptical, a genuine heart melts it. Right? It does.

It just breaks through it. You know? Sometimes people see me and they're like, oh, that scammer. And then they meet me and are completely perplexed by the way I just legitimately don't think I'm better than anyone. And it's a real thing.

You know? Because, yeah, I could say, oh, I make lots of money. I do. Yeah, it's cool. Right?

It's a cool amount of money I'm looking at and I'm like... I mean, I just do the same thing every day. You know what I mean? It just keeps growing. Not all the time.

It has ups and downs. It's a lot of money. But a lot of money doesn't mean better. Right? A lot of money doesn't mean better.

It means I'm just doing something different. Right? Anything that somebody's getting as a result that you're not getting can be traced to them doing something differently. Right? Like I couldn't do when I started the things I do now because I was new.

Right? When you have money, you can do things that you can't do when you're new. Right? You can have employees when you have money. You can have somebody cleaning your house if you want.

Right? You can have somebody cooking your food in your house. You can have somebody better doing your taxes. You can set up cooler corporations. You can live in a different country.

You can buy a new home. Right? You can travel. Right? You can have somebody manage your travel.

You can have somebody manage your schedule. You could literally never know where you are and it doesn't matter. You know? It's like, David, why don't you ever know where you are? Well, because I don't really care to know where I am.

It's not important. There's always people telling me where to go. It's like, why would you need to remember your room number if some badass ninja chick is walking you around that remembers it? You know, she actually doesn't even walk around. There's like a corner and she's like, ahhhhhhhhhh.

The first time scared the shit out of me, but afterwards I got used to the screaming. How many of you How many of you are like One time I was actually at an event and there's this guy and he was telling a story and then he whispered his voice down into a whisper and he said, you know what I'm going to tell you TO GET STARTED! And I about jumped five feet in the air. Ha. Right?

So you never know the story. You never know the story. And, you know, here's a thing that is really interesting about this crowd. Okay? This crowd here.

Everybody in this room can do this. Right? Everyone. You know, some of you are still like, well how? Right?

Have you watched the videos and the products yet? Well no, just tell me what to do. Why would I do that? You know, Paul Gardner's weird. He goes around screaming his intentions everywhere.

Why does he do that? Have you watched the products yet? No, just tell me why. That's a really interesting strategy. It looks like you're doing what, solo ads?

How do you do that? Have you watched the products yet? No. Just tell me. Just tell me what to do.

Just tell me what to do. I'll do what it takes, just tell me what to do. Have you watched the products yet? No. Are you going to?

No, just tell me. I actually just told you to watch the products. No, no, just tell me what to do. Okay. If you're really good at listening, you know what I'm saying?

Here's a great example of what to do. I met Paul in 2009. I remember talking to you for the first time because Daniel introduced you to me. How many times have I talked to you over the years personally on the phone? A few, right?

But how many? Four or five since 2009? Yeah, and one of them was I called into your house to do a home meeting, which you wanted to kill me for, right? You remember that? I was like, yeah, you're in now.

You've got to do a home meeting. I was trying new strategies, you know, on Paul. No, here's the thing, though. I was like, all right, you need to make a list of everybody you know, invite them over to your house for a meeting, right? And I called from my house in, I think, Costa Rica into his house on a webinar to do a meeting.

After he joined on the Internet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But here's the thing. You did it still. Why?

He wanted to work with me, so he did something that he thought was stupid and didn't want to do. Even though it didn't work, he stuck around, right? He stuck around. Now, here's the thing. Here's the thing.

A lot of you wouldn't do even something that worked if I told you. You're like, do you even pay attention to anything? No, I'm looking for the secret, Dave, the secret. Okay, I'll tell you the secret after you watch the products and implement everything. Seriously, guys, this is not complicated.

It's actually really simple. Sometimes it can be frustrating because you're doing something and it's not working, right? Sometimes it can be frustrating because you're not listening and you think that you are, right? I know still sometimes I think I'm listening and I'm not listening to people when they give me advice. It takes effort to listen, right, and to be coachable and to realize you don't know everything.

How many here realize you don't know everything? Raise your hand. Right? Two people know everything. I want to know what you know, which is everything, right?

I thought only Jesus knew everything. You know, we realize we don't know everything, right? And here's what I want to suggest to you, right? If you're frustrated, right, or you're not getting the results that you want, your way is not working, right? So when somebody gives you a way who knows how to do it and then you reject their advice and try to fight the way they give you, right?

Because you're looking for a different way that they're going to give you. You're looking for the secret way. You're just trying to look for the shortcut when the person is making dramatically more money. I mean, a huge amount more than you. A huge amount.

I mean, you look at like Vic, right, or Tony, right? Now to me, if I was around that and was making no money at all, you know what I'd do? I would try to be doing exactly what he's doing, right? That's what I'd be doing. If I ran into him and I said, you know, what do I do?

He says, I want you to squat. I'd be like this. My legs are tired, Vic. And he says, stay there for a while. And if you stay there and don't move, then I will teach you.

Like fight club. I've actually thought about that before. You know, come down to my house and then I might teach you. And when you come, you have to shave your head and wait outside for three days. And if you don't pass out, then I will train you.

What's that guy's name? I can't remember his name. The number one earner in organo gold. What's his? Holtenbox.

Holtenbox. It's just a strange name. I can't remember it ever. Really cool guy. At least good at building.

I don't know him personally, but I'm friends with a lot of people who are close to him. He was in a room full of people. And he said, everybody in here needs to listen to exactly what I tell you to do. And then he talked for a little while. And then he's like, all right, pull out a pen and a piece of paper.

And somebody didn't pull out a pen and a piece of paper. He said, stand up out of your chair. And the guy said, what for? He says, get out of the room. The guy goes, why do I get out of the room?

He says, you get out of the room right now, because you're sitting in the chair and I'm speaking, because I know how to do what you're doing. And if you're not going to listen, I'm not going to put up with crap. Get up out of your chair and get out of here. Right? Now the guy left.

And guess what else happened? Everyone else did exactly what he told them to do. Out of the fear of Holton. He was like, I would not want to see what happened if that guy did not get out of the room. Right?

How many of you like it when I kick that guy off the first webinar at the 15K? How many of you guys? You know what happened when I did that? Right? Nobody else dropped off that entire webinar.

Right? Why? Because you've got to realize something, that there are people who know how to do things that you don't know how to do. Right? And maybe that's not why you're getting quite the results that you want yet.

And that's okay. You're in a good spot. Right? You're in a good space. Some of the stuff that you learn now, you'll be applying for the next ten years.

You know? You'll be applying for the next ten years. Some of the stuff that you hear this weekend, you'll be walking along five years from now, and you're going to have a breakthrough from something that just sinks in, and your income will get even bigger. Right? And how do I know that?

I was like, you know, flying around in private jets and stuff. Right? And I used to sit around listening to them tell stories about what I thought was nothing. Right? I thought they weren't talking about anything.

I was just like, tell me what to do. And they'd say, well, you know, three years ago when I was in Phoenix, Arizona, I was talking to a guy, and he really wanted it badly. And he looked like he was struggling like you. And I grabbed him by the shoulder, and I pulled him close, and I said, I believe in you. You're willing to listen.

And I held him like this. And he says, get to every event ever, and you'll get there. He walked away. Well, that makes me mad. Tell me what to do.

Right? One time I was in a hotel room, and I was, you know, there's this guy, and he'd flown in a private jet. And there was like 1,000 people, and I wanted to talk to them. So I waited around for like four hours for the crowd to dissipate. Because in Amway, they actually pull out audio recorders, and they sit there like this.

And so finally, everybody like kind of like walked away one by one. And of course, the hotel staff always think that's weird. They're like, what is this old guy talking about? He's just talking around in circles, and all these people are standing around with tape recorders. It's weird.

Right? Well, I finally get up to this guy, and I'm like, you know, look, I'm, you know, I was like, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm, he goes, stop talking like that. Okay? And he goes, you're speaking your life into destruction. Stop it.

I said, okay. He goes, I'm going to tell you two things to do. And if you promise me in advance that you'll do them, I'll tell you what they are. And if you do it, it'll change your life. I said, okay.

He says, no, okay is not enough. He says, I'm not going to tell you what to do unless you do it. And you commit to me beforehand that you'll do it, no matter what it is. Death stare. How many of you are afraid of my death stare?

I hear people say Dave Wood peered into my soul, right? That wasn't a good one. I'll give you one later. And death stare. So I say, okay.

I promise. He says, now, you're not messing around with me, are you? He still wouldn't tell me. He goes, you're not messing around with me, are you? I say, no, I'm not messing around.

He says, so if I tell you what to do, then, you're not going to run off and do something else, like you have a better way, even though you're making no money at all right now. You promise me that if I tell you what to do, you'll do what I say. And I was like, shit, this guy is cornering me everywhere. Right? And I said, I promise.

And he grabbed me by the suit coat, because I used to wear a suit in those meetings, because they tell you if you don't do that, you're not serious. He pulls me in, he stares at my eyes, and he says, from now on, you are not allowed to listen to the radio. When you're in your car, you're listening to audios from somebody making more money than you. I said, how long? He said, forever.

Right? I said, okay. He goes, that's thing one. Will you do it? He made me commit, yes.

Good. If you don't do it, I'll never talk to you again. Thing two. Go to every event ever. He says, you know what I mean by that?

I say, you mean all the big ones? He says, no. All of them. If you're up lines in town, you're at the meeting. If there's a conference call, you're at the conference call.

If there's a big event, you're at the event. If there's teams gathering, you're there. You come early, and you stay late. Because late is where the magic happens. But if you show up late, none of us will give you any time or pay attention to you.

And I was like, phew. He's like, there's a big event coming, a big function coming in Long Beach, California in a week. You got your tickets? And I was like, no, I can't afford. He says, stop it.

You just promised. I want to hear your excuses, because you're broke, and you can't afford it. You want to be broke your whole life? You want to be stuck at zero your whole life? You want to still not be able to afford your rent when you're 35?

You still want to be stuck in a cycle, go into a job, and live in paycheck to paycheck when you're 45? You want to get married one day, Dave? And then when you're married, you want to say, oh yeah, we can't buy that, because that's expensive. I'm sorry. I know you like that ring better, honey.

But this one's a little bit more in our price range. Oh, that looks like the best thing on the menu. But let's go with something a little more affordable. Oh yeah, nice suit, except for the fact that, that's right. We need to pay the electricity.

He says, you want to do that? You want to listen? I was like, that makes me mad, because he was speaking to my soul. He knew I was living paycheck to paycheck and struggling for everything somehow. He just knew it.

How did he know? Well, isn't it fascinating that he had been there? Not able to pay. Not able to pay for the cell phone. Getting kicked out of your apartment, being late on the rent.

Driving to an event, not knowing how you're going to pay for the hotel room. Right? Who in here has been to an event and you haven't been able to pay for a hotel room to sleep in for? Who in here has slept in a car at an event? Right?

Yeah. Because he'd been there. And you know, the cool thing about being there now is that one day you'll be able to stare into people's souls. And you don't have to take any bullshit ever. You know what the cool thing is?

Somebody says, I don't have the money, I just don't even blink. Don't give me bullshit. I've been broke too. I've been broke too. Yeah, Dave, I can't afford to go to the event because I don't know where I'm going to stay.

I don't care. Do you believe in your dreams or not? I ain't going to mess around and say, oh, I'm so sorry. Oh, I didn't know. Wait, wait.

I didn't know that you were the broke one in the room. You know, the struggling. I'm so sorry. Oh, que lindo. Right?

I don't care. Right? Well, Dave, I know that you're telling people to listen to audios and stuff, but just tell me how to do it. No. Because it's a secret that you can only find by listening to the audios.

I'm sorry. Because I've been there. I've been there. I've thought the same things you're thinking. I've sat in a chair mad, right, at all the people around making it, and I look at the people around and they're making it, and I'm sitting there and I'm saying, what am I doing wrong?

Mad in the meeting. Right? I've been there. I've seen people pass me by. Angry.

Right? I've been there. Right? You know what, though? I stuck with it.

And I outworked everybody. I outstudied everyone. Right? Outvisualized them, and I stuck with it. You know?

And the thing about me, if I'm going to say one thing that's a secret to how I do what I do, is that I really love people. A lot. And people I don't know, and I don't know why I'm like that. Part of it's because maybe a philosophy in my family, maybe from my mom. My mom's a lot like that.

But part of it's I just genuinely like people. A lot of you guys, maybe you meet me and you get to know me, you're surprised by that. I sit back there with Vic, and you know what my conversations with Vic are like when we sit down and talk? I say, you know, Vic, I really, really, really would like to find a way to get you to a million a month consistently. You know?

Why? Because I see myself as a servant. I'm here to serve. I'm here to help you get what you want, or why are you here? Right?

And so my goal and my vision for this group here is, you know, you're like, Dave, why are you talking to me like this? I'm like talking to you. You're like talking right to me. You're looking at me. You're staring at me.

Why am I doing that? Because I know how great you can be when you let go of the bullshit. When you take responsibility. I realize that my results are because of what I've been doing or not been doing. Right?

Or what I know or what I don't know. My results are because of what I've been doing. My results are my responsibility, not the responsibility of another human being. It's not Vic's responsibility to give me results. Right?

It's my responsibility. It's not Vic's responsibility to get me leads by following his process and learning what he has to teach. It's my responsibility to implement that information and do what it takes. It's not Dave Wood's responsibility to get you to blog. It's yours.

Right? It's not my responsibility to give you a dream. Right? Because that dream is not put there in your heart by me. Right?

I might help spark it. But I don't put it there. That's your dream. Right? It's not my responsibility if you don't accomplish your dreams.

I know not everybody that gets in Empower Network will succeed. And I'm okay with that. Right? Because that's their responsibility when I give them the tools. And all I can do is my very best tell people how it is.

My very best. Right? To just tell them how it is. And I'm telling you guys, if you do this and if you succeed big, you will run into problems. You'll have setbacks.

You'll get in arguments. You'll have leaders quit and leave if you ever build a big team. Right? You'll have friends and family or somebody that will think you're some sort of scam artist. Right?

Who doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. Right? You'll have bankers question why you're making so much money and cause you problems and close down your bank accounts. You've got to move your money. Right?

That's something a lot of you haven't ran into. It's not a bad problem. It's actually kind of hilarious. You mean you don't want my money here? Okay, I'll move it to this bank.

They want it. Right? But you'll run into weird problems like that. Maybe you'll put money on a credit card for something and think you'll be able to pay it off in a week and then when you don't. You'll start to panic a little Maybe some of you guys are panicking because you're in a lot of debt right now And you don't know where the money's gonna come from right You don't know where your bills are gonna be paid from you don't know how you're gonna make a sale and you're acting in Desperation because you just don't know about the future and maybe you got to go through some hard things and that's okay Maybe you'll place an ad and it won't work Maybe you'll make a capture page and it won't convert maybe you'll send an email and people won't subscribe from your list Maybe you'll sponsor guy who you think is gonna be really great and then they don't do anything Right, maybe somebody you love will get in and then get out and then not talk to you for six months, right?

maybe you'll build a team and build a team and build a team and then the team will leave and You'll feel a sense of loss Maybe you'll get a leader and then what he's doing is working really well and you're like whoo-hoo I'm making money from this guy and then all of a sudden what he's doing won't won't work it well anymore All right, and you're depending on you know, is it him producing to generate you income, right? Yeah, it's funny and until it happens then you're like snap how you learn what I'm doing, right? You're gonna run into issues You're going to run into issues and hard times and nothing in life. That's great. That's great Is gonna happen without difficulty, right?

Well, how do you lift weights by tearing your muscles apart that's how you get big and strong by tearing your muscles to pieces What are the best boxers do they take the most hits? How's Michael Jordan land so many shots? He missed a lot when he was a teenager and he worked really hard Some of you think the people up here all they got some sort of like magical power No, they work harder and they study more and they got a bigger dream Right and they've been implementing and implementing and implementing and implementing and doing whatever it takes, right? Who knows what these people have been through, you know, I hear Paul's story and you know worked in a print shop And it's like oh this print shop guy. He was out there.

He was like in the print shop, you know He's like this and then he's like, oh, yeah email from Vic. Click on that. What's that Commission's? Oh, yeah. I'm joining half million next year Yeah, I'm saying You know, you think Vic gotten in power and he's like, oh, yeah, you know never done anything like this before but not important 3 million next year.

It's amazing Yeah, one cool thing about Paul Gardner you look at that dude you're like that man is working his ass off and it's obvious Yeah, I mean Yeah, you're like, ah, he ain't fooling around right? Are you looking me? Totally here. I'm better looking you I dress better. I went to school.

I got more money when I started I don't live in a green van and here you are where you're talking about nothing And why are these people listening to this idiot, right? Your laugh is weird Right You never know the whole story. You never know the whole story. Here's what I'll tell you though This is worth it and compare it to anything and this is the upside. Yeah, I've been beating you up for a little bit This is the upside of that though the upside right?

big upside to this Right. What is it? It's that compare this to anything See, sometimes people get frustrated here because they don't make money for like four years or whatever Not even thinking about that. They went to school for four and spent way more than this Way more, you know some people I can't get into that because that's expensive Well, what do you do for work? I'm an engineer and I would never do anything like that because I have a career and it's professional And you're like, oh how much what school did you go to well, I went to this school over here How much did you pay for that?

Oh, it was very expensive. We would all be sitting there like this Actually, let me let me let me show you the plan. All right Now I want you guys to imagine what life can be like If you had a Toyota with rusty wheels a Starter that didn't work If every morning you could be sleeping enjoying your nice soft bed And you hear a sound and you wake up and you're excited for the day Because you know that you got to run to the shower in a panic to do your hair Your stomach is gonna be a little flabby because you don't exercise anymore Because You don't have any time because the kids are screaming at night You get to jump in the shower in a panic wear clothes that are a little bit worn down Because you haven't been able to buy new ones in years Run downstairs not really that far down because your house only has one story And you get to pull your keys out To your used 1996 Toyota Corolla Put your keys in the engine and you're cold because it's the wintertime and you don't have a garage And just imagine what it would be like to try to start your car and it fails And Your heart starts to pound because you know, you're late for work and the boss yelled at you three times this week already And so you get out there in the cold on your bicycle It's pink because you bought it for the wife But she doesn't have time to use it because she has to work, too She has to work to life is good life is good So you go get the bicycle and you bike in 15 minutes late to work and you walk in And your boss says Smith Get in here Again And you feel like I'm nothing and you walk in So you can get yelled at To get a paycheck That's barely enough To pay the bills So you can eat ramen noodles For the next seven days Because you had to put all your food money to fix your starter And get new tires for your car This is the dream and here let me show you how to accomplish this dream First of all, first of all need to pay attention to the fact that you're not going to be able to start your car Pay attention to your teachers when you're in school because You know, they're wise and they know the way and They're gonna teach you a formula a formula a Formula now don't pay attention to these schemes because you know, there's schemes, you know, like the internet traffic for me I'm talking about a real-life formula Go To school and when you're done with school at 18, you're not done. You're just starting Except for you got to pay for this one. Don't worry.

It's not a lot of money. Just 10,000 a semester For four more years and Then when you graduate you can live paycheck to paycheck For the next 40 years of your life driving your Toyota back and forth to work And if you're lucky you could go on a vacation a year To the town a hundred miles away as long as your Toyota doesn't run out of gas or break down and Then when you retire the retirement imagine the retirement You're gonna get a pension Hopefully because most of the companies they you know end up shutting down their pension plans or changing them or going out of business but you'll get a pension and it'll be 40% of what you couldn't live on for the last 40 years and you can Retire in your golden years eating ramen noodles and sitting around the house bored watching the TV All you got to do to join is give me 10,000 for your first semester now, that's some fucking bullshit You know Like I don't have anything wrong with the system really I just think it's stupid Yeah, I mean, it's like if we're gonna make a system Why don't I just go like live in a tent and throw rocks in a river for the rest of my life? That sounds more fun. You know, I mean, come on, you know, let's do something fun with it If I'm not gonna have money anyway, I'll go live in a river and fish, you know, I'm saying and I'll just start that now You know, so we've been scammed unfortunately. I Thought that was funny to say but I'm the only one the rest of you are mad My point is right when you think this is hard remember that Right because for me I failed for seven years right But it wasn't that bad and it was like I didn't know this stuff But I failed for seven miserably I failed for seven, right and that seven years I look back and I compare it to everything and I'm like, you know My dad went to school for longer than that to make a lot less money than I made after seven years So he was in school longer than that seven years And when he got out didn't make any anywhere near the amount of money when I finally figured out how to do this Not even we're not anywhere near not anywhere close In fact the amount of money after seven years I was making which is right around the time My dad was getting out of law school and stuff right after seven or eight years or however long the heck long it is to Be a lawyer, which is forever, right?

Nothing wrong with being a lawyer just takes a long time It's a lot of work just like everything in life Sometimes this can be some work too and you're gonna be okay with that See the difference is sometimes a lawyer. They don't think they're gonna get rich tomorrow, right? They don't think that you're gonna be rich tomorrow, right? What would you what would people say if they're in school? Right and they're in school in like their third year to be a lawyer and they've got five more or whatever and you say Hey, Billy Make any money yet I Actually hurt my ribs They would look at you like you're crazy Yeah When I met when I first started making money on the internet I worked about 18 or 20 hours a day for like 90 days straight.

It was nuts, right? I Mean it was crazy. It was completely nuts, right? It was a huge amount of work Now at the same time my sisters were studying for finals Right and doing their homework for other classes and writing term papers and stuff like that two of them Emily and Melissa I love these both these sisters are just awesome. And They were working 18 or 20 hours a day for like three months straight studying for finals Right Like their second or third year school or something and then after all that, right?

I Had a week where I made like 25 grand after my 218 20-hour days and I started making like five ten grand a week back in 2009, right? and I was excited. I just told my family about it. My sister's like I never worked that hard And I was looking at them like Hello you're working that hard right now Your husband's at school too and he's working that hard too. Don't tell me you don't work that hard Hello, you were a missionary for the last two years.

I know how my hard missionaries work. They're working all day and night Don't give me this bullshit. And I know when you go into a career how hard you work, right? Let's like compare this to everything. Why don't we right?

Let's compare it to everything. So seriously compare it to everything Give me a profession, right? Where in seven years you could only waste twenty or thirty thousand dollars like I did, right? that's all this you spend twenty thirty thousand after seven years and Then after seven years you can make twenty five thirty thousand a month Okay What profession anybody know Cuz doctors can't do that. Can doctors do that any doctors in here doctors can't do that.

Can lawyers do that? No, oh wait lawyers can't do that either. That's a doctor's can't do it and lawyers can't do it What a profession Could like a normal salesperson do that? No Well, what else who can do that? Oh Exactly.

Only this profession can do that. That's interesting, right? Because I thought that was a long time and I spent so much money five thousand dollars is a lot of money Oh, yeah, where'd you go to school? Oh Cornell and I would never spend five thousand on something like that Okay Last I checked you were broke Go for it, right Well, I've got a plan. What's your plan?

I'm gonna save 10% of my paycheck for the next 40 years earning 11 to 12 percent interest I hope because I hope the economy doesn't go down But I'm gonna earn 11 to 12 percent interest because of the stock market and then in 40 years I'm gonna have I'm gonna have eight hundred thousand dollars and I'm gonna go live off of the interest, you know And live my dreams Who taught you that because that sounds crazy And only that doesn't seem to work I mean how many people in here have had big life savings and they've just been wiped out Yeah By the stock market that you were told to invest in just hey Just put your money over there and it'll be safe and secure because over time the stock market Averages 12% a year over the last 60 years. Well, what the fuck happens if you're 60 and it tanks They ever tell you that well, it's fine because over the average over the next 60 years it still averages out 12% Well, I fucking turned 60 when it dropped to nothing Yeah, I mean Now if you know that when your teacher says it says that you do kick to the balls You tried to scam me No, I'm saying I Mean come on So, let's let's talk about let's talk about Like how to get how to make money doing this, right? Let's talk about how to make money doing this which really truthfully you pretty much already know Yeah, I mean you pretty much already know there's only a few steps to it You know, it's not that complicated Right, you're like what's the secret step work? I Okay, wait, wait, I'll give you the secret step first put your hand on your nipple like this now get your ass to work You know, it's funny is like people and other stuff don't have a problem working hard, you know, I mean It's like you like well, like I can't work like that. Well, it's like what do you do?

Well, you know, I'm a farmer Yeah, I would never work like that what do you do I'm a teacher well, you don't work 18 to 20 hour days all year You know like people are like, oh I would never do something I wouldn't I would I would never do something like that You just like compare this to everything and it's actually is quite hilarious Yeah, the things people say, you know things people say about like what we're doing They're like most people in that don't make any money right Obviously idiot most people in life don't make money, right? I Got a different idea Why don't we track all the people that come to our events and never miss one and get on all our Monday calls and never miss One right and then it spend at least two hours a day working Two hours not eight not 18 to Working not sitting in front of computer watching videos not hitting refresh in your Commission email inbox Not sitting at your phone call waiting for somebody to call you to ask you to join Working what if you actually spent two hours a day working went to every event got on the Monday calls, right? And why don't we track those people's incomes? I Wish we could you know, I actually want to I have an income disclosure that's navigatable. And I'm serious, I've been trying to do it forever, but it's just that there's other priorities other than my pet peeves to make, right?

You know, I want a navigatable income disclosure. Let's do this, why don't we have an income disclosure that says, okay, who's A, been to every event, everyone since they've been in, right? And then we'll track that by three months, six months, nine months, a year, up to five years. Why don't we do that, number one, and just look at it over time just with that, just that are in, that have been to all the events. Now let's add on who's been to every Monday call, right?

Okay, we tell people to do that, but you know, they don't have to because we're not gonna fire them if they don't. It's not like a job, that is a difference. I mean, if you worked like, here's the question, the question to ask yourself is, if I worked at my job like this, would I be fired within a week? Probably, probably 99% of you would be fired from Empower Network. I mean, we just straight fire you, you don't show up, you're never at the meetings, right?

And then you sit around and don't do anything all day. I mean, that's somebody that you fire. I mean, what do you do if you have an employee, right? Who doesn't come to work on time, when they show up, they watch videos all day, refresh their email inbox and play on Facebook, never show up to anything for the meetings, what do you do with those people? Fired, I'm sorry, I can't afford to just spend the money anymore on your porn education, right, you fire them.

So how long would it take for you to be fired if you worked at your job like you work in Empower Network? How long would it take? A day, two days, a week, four hours? I mean, some of the people who come up to me and say, it's not working. If I saw you and you were in my company doing what you're doing and you were an employee, I'd fire you in four hours.

Not because I'm mean, but because you're sitting there like this, refreshing, why aren't I getting commissions? You know, that's like an employee sitting there refreshing his screen saying, why aren't I getting a raise yet? Seriously, seriously, what do you do if an employee misses the meeting every week, right? We have a meeting Wednesday morning and you got to show up and you got to like report what you've done. You guys don't even have to do report what you've done at the meeting.

You don't have to fill out a report card. Like say, this is what I've done this week. But what happens if you show up even at the meeting and don't bring the report, right? First time, Billy, what's wrong? You don't want a job here?

Second time, you do that again, you're fired. If you last three weeks and then the third week fired, right, that would be just for that. The question is how good is your work ethic really, right? I could legitimately say, all the people that I know in Power Network that I wouldn't fire if they were employees are all making pretty damn good money, right? Because they're working and they're consistent and they study every day a little bit on their own time outside of work.

And then they come to work and they show up and they do what we tell them to do, right? Which really isn't that much. Think about all the things that we like, you know, that you have to do here, right, for a second. And think about them as a list of responsibilities to complete each week, okay? Spend time each day figuring out how to market and generate traffic.

Maybe do some optimization on some of your pages to get more leads from the traffic. Maybe send an email to your list. It might take you 15 minutes to write, maybe, right? Maybe post a link on your Facebook wall. Maybe write a blog post, right?

Maybe you do a live event for an hour. I mean, all that together might take two and a half hours, right? But how many of you'd never do that? Even that, right? Now, I'm not chewing you out because I'm not your boss.

And guess what? You can stay, you can quit, you can keep doing it, you can keep trying it. You can figure out how to do it. You can learn the secret. If you stick around long enough, maybe sitting there not doing anything, you'll learn the secret.

I am actually wondering what it is. And so maybe if you continue to watch videos forever, you'll eventually make money when you learn the secret. You'll eventually learn the secret to making money while you sit there and do nothing, right? However, if you're working, that's easy stuff to correct, right, if you're doing the work, right? Now, I never had a problem with work.

I never had an issue with it ever, right? For whatever reason. I had a problem with dumb work. I mean, I was late to every job I ever had. And see, I got fired a lot.

That's how I know I'd fire somebody who worked like I, like most of your work in this. Because most of you, you're late to this stuff and you don't work at this stuff, but then you show up on time and you work all day at your job. Most of you, right? That's just the truth. I'm not beating you up.

I'm just saying, well, maybe it's beating you up a little, but I'm just telling you the truth, right? And some of you aren't laughing anymore. You're like, this is sort of funny, but it's not funny because it's me now. Right? We can be honest about that.

But for me, I was always late to my work and I showed up on time for this stuff. It was like opposite. So I always got fired from the jobs, right? Whereas a lot of you guys, you've jumped from company to company, to company, to company, to company, always looking for the hottest deal because maybe if you get at the top, you'll make money. Hey, guess what?

No, you won't. Did you know that you will never ever in your life get in the top of something and because you're at the top make money? Because this is not a pyramid scheme, unfortunately. Dang it, wait a second. Dave, you mean this isn't a Ponzi and this isn't a pyramid scheme?

I thought for sure I was scamming people and I was in at the top, right? No, because unfortunately this involves sales, right? So how do you make money here? Sell, right? Now, could you sell in person if you want to?

That's a way to sell. Could you sell through email? Yeah, if you want to, you could sell through video, you could sell with our videos, you could sell by learning marketing, but it's creating sales, right? That is your core task here. That's what we do, right?

That's what we do. And so the question is, is what you're doing when you work even aimed at that? I'll tell you sitting around refreshing your inbox doesn't create sales. I'll sell you a plane on Facebook and it depends on what you're writing. Sometimes it creates a tension that you can then use to create sales.

So sometimes I'll do stuff like that, you know, but most of the time you're on Facebook fiddling around, guess what it really is? It's fiddling around, it's wasting time. If you did it at work, you'd be fired, right? I don't think we allow people to fiddle around on Facebook all day at the corporation. You know, you could ask any of our employees, you ask Bonnie, she'd probably fire you in four minutes for that, right?

Because you're at work, right? Bonnie doesn't fool around. She don't let employees just sit around and fiddle around on Facebook and watch videos over and over and over and over and over again, right? Be like, what are you doing? Working on YouTube.

Yeah, what are you watching? Some Tony Robbins, I'm trying to get motivated to work. What about the report I asked you to file? Yeah, I was gonna get to that after I was motivated, after Tony told me that if I go like, it's my time, it's my time, and I'm really pumped up, I'm gonna get motivated, and then I'm gonna do that report when I'm pumped. But only when I know the secret, because I need to know the right way to do it.

Billy, yes, you're fired, right? Be honest about yourself. That's okay. We've all been lazy at something in our life and we've all worked hard at something. Nobody is lazy all the time, right?

And if you think somebody's lazy all the time, just, you know, if it's a man, just say, okay, you ever been in a relationship? Yeah, how hard did you work to get, you know, chase after that? Come on. Right? When people are motivated to, they work, right?

Now, the problem with this is, this is the problem that most of our minds, you say, Dave, what are you gonna get some content? Well, this is, because here's the truth. If I just say, we'll do this, right? You won't do it. And I know you won't do it, right?

I know you won't do it because, because I've watched hundreds of thousands of people, right? Without the philosophies and attitudes and clarity, you'll do nothing at all, no matter what I say. And I've tried everything. I've tried personally coaching people. I've tried teaching people tactical strategy.

Probably remember when I used to teach people tactics all the time, like early on. And you know what the funny thing is? I taught people, this is the page I use. This is how I make the pages. This is how you make the videos.

This is how to use hypnotic languaging. This is how I close people on the phone. And funny enough, when I told people exactly what to do all the time, they never ever did it. And I mean, it was the same stuff that I was recruiting more than anyone. I recruited like 4,000 people in a year.

They show you how to moral, right? I'll show you the tactics and what I did and how I said things and how I got people on the phone and close people and all that stuff and coach some other people and show you how to do live meetings, all that stuff. But you know, I taught people that stuff only for like two years and no one ever did it. It blew my freaking mind. I was like, get on the phone with somebody.

They're like, Dave, I need some coaching. Okay, what are you doing? Well, you know, I'm doing this. Okay, here's what you do. Here's how to do it.

Here's the steps. Here's what you say. Here's what you do. Here's how you get people to talk to you. Here's how you generate traffic and be like, okay, I'll talk to you next week at four o'clock.

Come back next week. How you doing? Well, Dave, and they repeat the same problem again. Right? Because they've been sitting there all week refreshing their inbox.

Right? And then I learned something by remembering those old Amway guys. I was like, those guys just tell stories all the time. Drive me crazy. Drive me batty.

But you know the interesting thing? I literally remember everything I was ever told. You know, for whatever strange reason, I remember everything. Now, I started telling stories and creating vision and then people started just working on their own. It was amazing.

Amazing. It's amazing how talented you are. Did you know that? You know, it's amazing really how talented you are, how much stuff you have in your head, how much experience you have, how many people, how much people skills that you have that sometimes you don't use, how much you know about sales and marketing just from being around and just being sold, right? It's amazing how much you know and how much you've got inside.

That when you just get to work and you decide to apply yourself, what you can do is unbelievable. Right? Unbelievable. Because what do you really got to do here? Create leads, sales, and upsells.

That is all you have to do to make money. That's it. That's it. If you create leads, sales, and upsells, you will make money. That's all.

Now, there's more to keeping it around and there's more to building teams and there's more to building systemic processes and duplicating and stuff like that, okay, right? But until you create leads, sales, and upsells, all of that other stuff is literally pointless. Well, Dave, I'm looking to, you know, I want to learn a really cool hypnotic language for when I'm speaking in front of tens of thousands of people. I got it, and we all want to hear your story when you got something to say, which is not now, unfortunately, I'm sorry. Right?

I want to hear your story of how you sit around in the computer and refresh all the time. Right? You know what I'm saying? I've been there. You're like, Dave, you're chewing me out.

Well, a little, not really, I'm having fun, right? You know, because I've been there, I've been there. Now, here's the truth, right? Here's the truth, and this is what I really want to tell you guys. All of you have everything you need inside this moment to do it, all of it.

You could have been sitting here for three days. You heard Chris Rushlow talk about how to double your upsells. You heard Tony Rush's formula the first day on how he looks at his business. I mean, you heard it all, right? You heard it all.

You heard Abram and Nicky get up here and talk about how they talk about EMFs and plants and how to not kill cows and stuff, and then all of a sudden you'll be making money instantly. I just love teasing these guys, right? You heard K. Halla, right, talk about how he's doing what he's doing. You've got it all, right?

And the only thing that's gonna stop you, see, when you go to work, you know you'll make 10 an hour or 20 an hour or 30 an hour if you just show up and you just work, right? And here the problem is a mental barrier we need to just overcome, because sometimes you show up and you don't know if what you're doing is gonna make you money, right? And you gotta learn how to persevere and be motivated with expectation through that phase as you're learning, as you're implementing long enough to start getting some little wins. And most of you are focused on wins that are way too gigantic at first. Well, that's hard to focus on unless you break it down to what you do today, which is actually quite easy, right?

It's way more simplistic than you think that it is, and here's how to do it. I'll tell you how to do it in Empower Network, because it's an affiliate training. Bring in one $25 customer per day. That's pretty much it, right? Now, if somebody told you that in any other profession, it wouldn't be true.

It'd be like a liar, right? Okay, now congratulations on graduating from medical school. Here's the deal. Not true. Get one new person to give you money every day.

You'd be like, no! Yeah, actually, right? That is not complicated at all, and you know everything you need to know to do that. Bring in two people a day. Two, right?

We're not even talking about showing up to events and like building culture and stuff, right? We're talking about how to make money. Bring in one person a day. Why not that? You say, one a day?

No, that's a lot. Compared to what? Okay, go be a lawyer. You won't. And then back to zero.

Your doctor, bring in a person a day, yeah? I actually, any doctors in here? Any doctors? I'm curious if there's any doctors. Huh?

Oh, right, right, right. Well, how many did you have to see? Three or four from home. Three or four from home. Okay, so that was three or four per day to do that.

And you're a doctor, too? So he's in a different kind of doctor or something, right? So 20 or 30 people a day, right? And you gotta do your marketing, generate leads, generate customers. If you actually fix them, they don't come back, right?

It's one of the secrets. Don't help. Yeah, Mary, I got a solution for that kidney problem. Come back next week. I'm kidding.

I know you don't do that. But you know what I'm saying? You fix it, the problem, and then they go away and don't pay you anymore. It's like the worst thing ever. Not that, you know, bad to be a doctor.

You know, nobody ever told me this part. They just told me I'd have to make money and have a standard. They didn't tell me I'd work 18. And you guys work like 18 hours, days, all the time, don't you? Maybe not, but huh?

Maybe. Okay, this guy's a good doctor. Only 10 hours a week, right? So here's the thing, right? Guys, when you look at what we do, right?

We can say, oh, it's hard, it's complicated. All right. What's the secret? What if, and I take these two guys as an example. This is actually really funny, right?

They go to medical school, right? Medical school, right? And the teacher starts talking, you know, and they sit there for three weeks like this. Then after three weeks, they start, their foot starts stomping like this all class. And then the fourth week, they just can't handle it.

Ah! Ah! The teacher goes like this, what the hell are you doing? What's the secret? You know what I'm saying?

What if we just start laughing at people in this who act like that, like they're retarded, like we'd laugh at that guy if he did that in medical school and how retarded that would be. You know what I'm saying? It's like the stupidest thing ever. But this is people's attitudes because they want to like get rich with no money and they want a Ferrari but they don't want to work for it, right? However, here's the upside to this.

You can learn this. You can do this. You have the. ability within you to do this. This is much easier to do than you think that it is if you just get over the ego about it, right?

And you just are willing to learn it. Anybody can do this at any age group. I've had a 13-year-old making money. Now he signed up with his dad. 13-year-olds are not allowed to do this.

So it was his dad's account. And his dad let him market after school. And he did his homework. And we still got that kid in. And we've had people that are 18 do it.

Our youngest million-dollar earner, I think, is 23 or 24, right? We've got a lot of different people who are million-dollar earners with different personalities, right? We've got Vic Strishouse, right? Who's like a really focused guy. He's Christian, right?

Really visionary-type personality. We've got Justin Varengia, who, as far as I can tell, believes that the universe blesses him and walks around and tells stories, right? And is a total hippie, right? And he's a million-dollar earner. We've got Shakir Hussain over in England who's Islamic, right, and has like three businesses at the same time.

And he's made over a million dollars in commissions. We've got Tony Rush, who's, I think he's an atheist, and argues with Christians on his wall at least half the day about evolution and all sorts of things like this. And he's earned a million dollars in commissions, right? And so we've got a pot-smoking hippie. We've got a Christian visionary, an atheist, an Islamic guy, right?

And then we've got, you know, Tracy Walker, African-American lady who's seven months pregnant who's made over a million dollars in commissions. You know what I mean? We've got Chuck Marshall, who literally, he looks like the most normal guy in the world, right? Like when you look at Chuck, you look at him, and if you could imagine normal, right? You look at Chuck and you say, that is the most normal-looking guy I have ever seen in my life.

And we talk, he says, hey, I'm Chuck, how's it going? And he sounds like the most normal guy, and he was a construction dispatcher, and he's made a million dollars. You've got Aaron Rashkin, who when he takes his shirt off, he, man, gets scared, right? And he's made a million dollars, right? And you look at all these people and you ask yourself, what's the commonality between all of these people?

And now it's time to get to the secret. They got a dream, they work, they study, right? They show up, they fix things when they don't work, they make adjustments and try new things. They're willing to stick it out through problems when things go wrong. Sometimes when things go wrong, people just leave.

They're like, oh, things are going wrong, I'm gone. Oh, I don't like what that happened, I'm gone. You know what I mean? Oh, I'm doing something else because something went wrong because I had a low month, right? Guys, did you know, and I just want to point this out, if you build a business, you are going to have low months, right?

If we ever grow to a half billion a year, we might have a correction that goes all the way down to 400 million a year. Right? Not realizing if you look at every up chart on the stock market, it looks like this, right? So what happens in this is people are like, woohoo, woohoo, woohoo, I'm leaving. How much were you making before this?

Well, I'm not in that thing anymore because now I'm focused on team building and I'm back to making phone calls and I'm so excited and so happy and I'm doing three-way calls all day and night again and I love it. I'm doing home meetings because I'm focused, a long-term residual. Because I had a down month, it was so awful, what happened? How much are you making in that new thing? You know what I'm saying?

It's like, okay, all righty then, all righty. You know, I got people in that other company, they don't make any money at all. Most people in that team don't make any money at all. Close! They can almost pay for the ownership.

How many people you got on your team? Well, it kind of looks like 99 of me making shit! Oh God, you're a network marketing, you're like all of this, I'm so sorry. Most of your team isn't making any money, right? It's interesting how we don't notice that, like when we're having a little success, we're like, oh, my team is so excited.

Well, you know, the reality is, guys, is people get in this thing and they quit and don't make any money when they quit, you know? Why don't we exclude everybody who ever quit from our income disclosure, right? Right? Do you include doctors who just drop out of medical school after four days in a medical doctor income chart? This is the average income of doctors, including every child who ever had a dream of being a doctor one day.

Now, included in the average here on this chart, now, this is the average income after they've worked, but included into the total average, I'm also going to include everyone. This is the chart including all the children that ever dreamed of being a doctor, and all the people that went to at least four minutes of medical school before they dropped out, and all the people who got out of medical school, but they were never doctors, and all the people who started being a doctor, but after four days, they said, you know, this is really hard, and they quit, and it's also including, it's also including people who started to go to college because they wanted to be a doctor, but they couldn't get into medical school because they never worked or studied, right, and the average income of all people that ever desired to be a doctor is one penny every 15 years because I'm compliant with the government. People make fun of us for that bullshit. You know what I mean? It's like, here's our income disclosure.

By the way, most people won't make money, right, and if you look on this disclosure, we are including people who joined yesterday and quit before the day was done. We're including people who joined a month ago, bought the blog, and quit. We're joining people who joined and never went to an event, and never went on a conference call, and never posted a blog post, and never sent an email out, and never told anybody about it, and never posted a Facebook status update that they got in. They never pulled out a camera and shot a video because they were a little too nervous, right? They went to one event and they said, I don't like that guy because he tells stories and makes fun of me, and I quit.

They don't like David Wood because he uses cult tactics and calls everybody a wussy, and actually, I just called them a wussy, but you know, I don't like that thing because, you know, you got that atheist in there, and he argues with everybody on Facebook because they believe, they believe in creation, and he believes in evolution, and I don't like that he can make a million dollars because I believe in creation, or I don't like Biscuit South because I'm an atheist and he's a Christian, and you know what? I only believe in atheists, and I like Tony, but if everybody was an atheist, then I would get in. I don't like that company because they have that long-haired guy who thinks the system is stupid, and I don't think the system is stupid. You know, I've worked hard my whole life as a part of this system, and I don't like that guy. I don't like that guy, you know, he's such an idiot, you know, over there.

He tells people to get to a day, and if everybody got to a day, and they got to a day, the whole world would be in four minutes. It's a pyramid scheme. You know what I mean? I think I just figured out how to solve the problem, actually, just start a Ponzi scheme. We'll actually call this, you know, no, no, no.

Wait, spy cameras in the space, get away. Do not talk about the government in here. We love you. Where's my ninja? Right?

You know, it's funny how people talk about this, but don't, like, apply it to themselves, you know. Yeah, next time just go like this and slap the stomach. Watch it jiggle. That's from sitting in the cubicle all day, right? Seriously, look at how people talk about this.

Look at how people talk about this, and look at what their actual objections to it are, and literally all of them are so stupid it's unbelievable. Like, the real objections people give to what we do are completely retarded. Oh, yeah, those people who make money and that thing, they work really hard. Yeah, idiot. Unlike your job that you show up to every day at 10 in the morning and stay till 6 at night and at the end of the week have no money.

Unlike that, right? Oh, yeah, those people, yeah, they just spend lots of money on advertising, and that's how they make money. Yeah, moron, like any business. You know, those people are just hypnotized. They're hypnotized and just following the leader blindly, not even listening to what he's saying.

They don't even think for themselves. Okay, what do you do for work? Well, you know, I'm an accountant. Well, for who, for yourself? Oh, no, no, I go to a big law firm, of course.

Well, if your boss tells you to do something, what do you do? Well, do you not listen? Do you say, no! Oh, wait, you listen to your boss, do you? Oh, you listen, wait, you listen to your boss.

You're saying, I'm hypnotized, and you show up to work every day, and you listen to your boss. So, wait, if you want to, tell me the truth here, tell me the truth here, and let's apply the same rule to yourself. So, wait, so wait a second, buddy. Wait a second, buddy. You show up at work tomorrow.

Your boss says, give me that report, or you're fired. And you say, no! I'm not hypnotized, no! You're like, David, why are you so weird? Well, what happened is, like, in 2009, I started making a lot of money, and I moved to the jungle, right?

And my life stopped being normal. Like, I don't do anything normal. Like, you know what I mean? So, like, I'm sort of unrelatable now, you know what I mean? Which sometimes is difficult, because I'm trying to think of, like, a new person getting started, and I'm like, I did that, you know, a while ago, and it was a lot of work, you know?

I remember that, you know? And what did I do? I just did whatever it took, right? Whatever it took. Why?

Because for me, whatever it took was a lot less work than 40 years of never having what I want. Yeah. Like, to me, that's a good deal, right? To me, it's still a good deal when we have ups, we have downs, and we go back up, right? You know, I actually remember, I was in a conference at Amway.

I say the name of the company. Some people think I'm making fun of it. It's like, you know, come on. I poke fun, but, I mean, I could poke more fun at me. I mean, I look funny, you know what I mean?

I mean, my armpits, I put on deodorant, my armpits smell. You know what I mean? You know, I mean, gosh. You know? So, I mean, like, really, like, so I was in this, and Brad Duncan was talking.

Anybody know who Brad is? Anybody know Brad Duncan? A couple of us, a couple of us Amway junkies, like, hey, I used to love that guy. Brad, I miss you. I miss listening to your audios, and standing around with the tape recorder.

I miss you. Anyway, so Brad was talking, and he says, you know, I've been in this for 20 years. He says, you know what happens? Every two or three years, we have a big upswing in volume. He said, every two or three years, we have a big downswing.

People leave, and I stick around, and I keep doing the same things. Every two or three years, we have a bigger upswing. He says, it kind of looks like the stock market, for those of us that work and stick around. But every time we have a downswing, people are like, oh, it's saturated. You know what the funny thing is with us?

I mean, I still remember when we got our first 8,000 people, right, month one. And people were like, it's saturated. Like, what did it saturate, Fairbanks, Alaska? Wait, wait, no, that has 30,000 people. I think it saturated Nome, Alaska.

Everybody in Nome got in. It's saturated. We have 300,000 people. Oh, like Anchorage, Alaska, like one of the smallest, biggest cities in a state in the world. I mean, come on.

Like, it's saturated because we got 300,000 people in English, right? You know? Dexter Yeager has like 10 million active people in his downline. Active, right? It's saturated.

Well, then how come when I was in like in 2000, you know, I don't even think Amway's saturated. I was in Amway in 2002, and then they were doing like I think total like 6 billion a year or 7 billion a year. It was like two years ago, they had their first billion dollar month. And you know what? Now they're definitely saturated.

Definitely. If I just get into the top 80 years ago, I would have been so rich. Okay, then ask all your relatives who got in then and quit how rich they are, right? You know, ask them, right? If only I would have gotten in the first day of Empower Network, I would have made so much more money.

Okay, what about the people who got in and quit? Who got in the first day? What about all the people that were in the meeting with the original 35 people that dropped out when the merchant shut us down, right? What about the people that left when we couldn't process payments for two months? You know, they got in at the beginning too.

What about all the people that were there marketing with us when our websites didn't really work for, you know, until recently? Right? What about them? Weren't they in before you? Oh, well, they quit.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. They were in. They were in at the top and they quit. Oh, it didn't work for me. I was in that thing.

They're liars! You know what I'm saying? What about the people that quit when we did that dumb blog beast launch? Oh, those owners make mistakes. I'm out.

Those videos were so stupid. I'm out. I had a slow month. I'm gone. Okay, have fun doing three-way calls, home meetings, and getting three to get three to get three for the rest of your life.

Enjoy that. You know? Look, I'm just, like, for me, I'm just telling you how it is, right? Because you know what? You know what?

We'll go to a quarter billion a year, and then we'll have a downswing, and then we'll go back up. They're like, I know better now. I know everything, right? See, like, with me, I legitimately don't think I'm better than anyone in here. I'm actually really fascinated when somebody discovers some new strategy I've never heard of, right?

I'm fascinated with it all the time. So I still study more than almost everyone, right? Because I really enjoy it. For me, I enjoy learning something new. I enjoy it, right?

Like, I learn something new, and I get excited about that, right? Because now I have a new skill. I know nobody can take away my skills. Somebody could come, they could take my money, they could steal things, right? But in that, they make no money.

Join my team. because we care. We care. Wait, wait, wait, join my team, join my team. Join us!

Because I'm rubbing my nipples because I love you so much. And if you get a thousand people in your downline like me, the greatest leader ever, a thousand people like me, you too will hit eighty-five hundred dollars a month. Like me. The greatest. Right?

But I'm not willing to listen. I'm not willing to learn anymore. Right? I'm excited about Vicks products because I get to learn new stuff. I get to learn new stuff.

I'm so pumped about that. Right? I love learning stuff. I love learning stuff I don't know. Because I don't know it all.

And guess what, guys? You know, I own Empower Network and did you know that I will make mistakes? Right? You're like, wait a second, I thought you were perfect. Obviously, I hope to God you don't think I'm perfect.

All these people tell me Jesus is perfect and I know I have long hair. Right? But I've seen photos of him and his skin looks more smooth than mine. Seriously, guys, I'm not perfect. I mean, I make mistakes.

You know what I mean? Like, sometimes you run into issues. Right? For me, I'll have personal issues. I mean, for heaven's sakes.

I went through a divorce. You know what I mean? Oh, God, he's like 60% of us. You know? You know, we're going to run into company issues sometimes.

You know? Sometimes we'll run into culture issues together. Right? Sometimes we'll try something that won't work the way that we want. Sometimes.

And it's okay. And here's why it's okay. And here's why. Because I want you to be able to live your dream. And I believe you can do that here.

And I believe that this group here will turn into millions of people just from this room. And that will come from a few people here who make decisions to stick with us. I'll never tell you anything that, knowingly, that's not in the best interest of your business. I accidentally do. I'm sorry.

But, you know, I make mistakes. Because sometimes I try things and it doesn't work the way that I want. And I readjust and I keep moving on. You know? Sometimes we're going to have up months.

Sometimes they're going to be slower. This week's cool. It's the best week ever. I don't know what we're going to finish out of today. Best week ever.

I'm excited about that. And next week will be, obviously, a lower week. Because we're not doing a launch next week. Because if we did that every week, everybody would die. Right?

I've been working myself to death. Yeah, I know. So we're going to rest, you know, and then go back to the pattern. Right? Get to a day, follow the eight steps.

We're going to make mistakes. We're not going to be perfect. Right? We'll make great stuff, but we're not going to be perfect. We'll have strategy.

The strategy will be readjusted. Like these regionals. We're probably not going to do these anymore. Right? Because we've showed that less people show up to these than the big ones.

Right? So obviously people like the big ones better, even though I kind of like the feel here. Right? Won't be doing these for a while. Right?

I know. I like it too. I like it too. I know. But it's not smart if 5,000 people show up to a big one, and we do three regionals, and only 2,000 total show up.

Smarter to do a big one. Right? Because we can impact more people. It's easier. You know?

So we'll try things. Some of them will work the way we want. Some of them won't. Right? And that's okay.

Because here is the vision. Here's the goal. The goal is to help you accomplish your dream. To give you the power to do things you can't do on your own. To give you the tools that you need to accomplish things that you can't accomplish on your own.

And we'll be here when people quit. We'll be here when they come back. We'll be here when new people join. I'll be here when the half millionth person joins. I'll be here when the millionth joins.

I'll be here when we have a million active people. And I'll be here when we're in our second language. Not just in our products, but all the way through the sales funnels. And I'll be here when we're in the fifth. And I'll be here when we're in the tenth.

And I'll be here when we're doing our first big event in Europe. I'll be here. Right? Because I'm not going to leave you. Right?

I'm not going to sell out. Right? Because I don't know. I just got this like weird personality. You know?

Why? Because I'm doing this for my team. You know? Why have so many people been around me for years? Because people who have been around me for years really know me.

Like Paul. Right? Paul legitimately knows I might be a weirdo and, you know, say curse words. And he's Mormon. You know?

And he prays that God will forgive me. But, you know, you know, put my name in the temple for them to pray. And I actually love Mormons tons. My dad's Mormon. You know, I said that the other day.

I miss him, actually. But, you know, Paul legitimately knows. Paul, I love you, man. You know what I mean? Seriously.

You know, I'll be here for you. I'll be here if we have disagreements. You know, you've disagreed with me about stuff. I know that. And he knows I love him.

He knows I love him. You know? Because for me, right, you are the reason I built Empower. And you, and you, and you. Because this is here to provide an environment to you to be greater than you can be on your own.

And you can be great on your own. But we can be greater together. Does that mean you should be here? I don't know. Right?

That's up to you. If your vision doesn't align with Empower, I'm not going to throw a hissy fit if you leave. Right? I'm not even going to throw a hissy fit if you leave and you jump to something that I legitimately think is stupid. And try to recruit our people into it by saying that people in Empower don't make any money statistically because of the income disclosure.

If you just look at it, all these people not making money. And then you say, so join my deal. We sell vitamins. I probably will laugh hysterically when I see it in my news feed. Like I laughed hysterically the other month when I saw somebody who I knew in Tony Rush's team that like, you know, was making good money here.

And said, you know, I'm back to three-way calls. I'm back to meetings. I'm back to prospecting. And I'm doing all this stuff. And my team is exploding.

And I've won a BMW bonus. And I'm pumped up. And I'm selling a coffee. And I was like, what happens if we had one more slow month? I mean, would you also sell your firstborn, you know?

It's OK. It's like I'm perplexed. But whatever, right? I will be here. We'll make better products.

We'll go into new markets. We'll go into other languages. We'll keep having more people make money. People are amazed at our continuous, nonstop, annoying success stories. You know?

There was this guy. And I can't even remember his name. I'm trying to remember it. Mike something that was making fun of us on Facebook for like our first three months around. You know?

I remember his last name. But if I did, I would totally mention it. Because I thought it was the most hilarious bullshit ever, right? He was like, on Power Network, I'm successful on the internet. And I teach people to build funnels.

And Power Network is not sustainable. And I was like, OK. That's sustainable? Idiot. You know what I mean?

That is not sustainable! So I was like, I hear these people. And then he shut up after the merchant shut us down and people still stuck around. And then we rebooted and then did an event with 1,300 people. He just kind of like, stuck his tail between his legs.

I'm going to talk about something else now. And then there's these people that are like, it's saturated, right? I actually saw this blog where they had a post about us being saturated, right? And then we started taking off again, right? And then it got kind of buried in the other post.

And then we like exploded again. And then our traffic on Alexa was down one day. And then they wrote another thing. They said, you see? You see?

It wasn't saturated what I thought it was originally. But now, now certainly everybody's gotten in. They're going downhill. Right? I was like, really?

I mean, do you have nothing better to do than sit here all day and refresh our Alexa score? That's like if I go to your website and you're selling like trinkets. And I hate trinkets. But I go there and refresh constantly. And I'm looking at it just for the down moment.

So I can post a photo on my Facebook wall and say, you see? Trinkets aren't as popular as he thought. You know? And then we got up again and kind of got buried in posts. And then they wrote another one.

I was like, you idiot. I mean, does anybody know? I mean, the only reason we talk about Alexa score when it's up is because people think it's important. Right? But it doesn't actually measure traffic.

Some of you are like. But you said that in the sales video. It's because people think it's important and they buy stuff. Not because it actually is. It doesn't measure traffic when you got like 10,000 domains on different websites and stuff.

You know what I mean? You're like, oh, I never thought about that. Yeah. Yeah. That's because the people who write those articles are idiots.

Right? And so the thing is, guys. We're going to have ups. We're going to have downs. We're going to do things that work unbelievably well.

We're going to do things that work okay. We're going to do some other things that just hit it out of the park. Right? Here's the thing, though. I am committed to your future.

So is our corporate team. So is our field leaders. Right? So is our field leaders. Right?

They're committed. And by that, I don't mean in a crazy hospital. Although, we're crazy about your success. You know? So let me tell you about tomorrow.

Okay? I'm actually not going to do a pitch just because I don't feel like it. I feel like if you don't go, you don't go. And that's okay. Not a big deal to me.

Okay? And if you go, that's awesome. You're going to be a part of what we're doing tomorrow. Right? Who in here is not really clear on what we're doing tomorrow?

A handful of people aren't clear. Okay? You're like, what's this thing all about? It's a VIP day. What we actually do is that's when we pull out the booze.

And like, they play music and we dance. You know? And then what we do is we tell people to make videos where we just learn the secret and post it all over YouTube. So like, you feel like you missed out. You know?

And maybe we did teach them the secret. But they can't remember because we used hypnotic forgetting techniques on them. So it only comes out in their marketing. They start succeeding for no reason, apparently. So I'm not going to do a pitch.

I'm not going to do a pitch. I'm not going to do a pitch. And they're all like this is what you've gotten, apparently. Right? No, okay.

So tomorrow, here's what we're doing. And let me talk about a little bit about the future. And I'm going to talk about it and I'll leave it up to you to make a decision or not. Right? And you say, okay.

Are you going to do a hard close? No, not at all. Right? I'm going to do something new today. Right?

I won't tell you to just buy now. No, I was joking. I just thought that was the most hilarious thing ever. And what we're doing is creating a product tomorrow. Okay?

And we're doing one at each regional that's different. Okay? And this is a part of recreating the products at Empower Network. Now, the existing products we have, you know, we still have them there. But we need to recreate our core stuff.

For a lot of reasons. Number one, we're better today than we used to be. We know more stuff. We got more stories. I mean, we've got, when we started Empower Network, guys, this is back in 2011.

And the original sales video, I mean, we had no success stories. It was completely new. And something nobody had ever done before. Right? Originally, we didn't have an affiliate fee here.

I mean, we were just, some people were mad when we made the affiliate fee. Because they're like, well, that's what their plan was to make money. We actually made that. Because merchant accounts shut us down. Because we weren't making any money.

We were only making money as affiliates. And they're like, you know, we're not going to give merchant accounts to a company making no money at all. Right? Dangerous for banks. Right?

So, you know, they shut our merchant accounts down. So then we instituted that, and that pays for the infrastructure and all the employees and stuff like that. And we have other profit sources, too. Right? So, you know, we've learned a lot, though, over the years.

We've learned a lot about how to run a business. We've learned a lot about how to build teams. We've learned a lot watching affiliates. You know, I learned a lot watching Vic come in. Right?

I also learned a lot watching Tony succeed. Right? Because Tony was a different one. Right? I learned a lot watching Aaron come in here.

Built from scratch, a million dollars in commissions. I learned a lot from watching Lawrence succeed. I've learned a lot watching Paul Gardner succeed recently. You know? Some of you, I hope, have learned a lot just watching him and just seeing what he's done.

I've learned a lot watching Michelangelo, watching Keala, watching Aaron Rashkind make a million dollars, watching Chuck Marshall. We've learned tons in the last couple of years. Okay? So the goal tomorrow is a little bit different. The goal is to create a product to teach you because I break building a business like this into three steps.

Three big things, big chunks. Big chunks of stuff. Okay? The hardest chunk, and it's only the hardest because it's the one where you have to have like total faith. Right?

Before you make it. And that's the first one, the first chunk, which is learning how to produce sales. Right? Because you guys, you can't rely on luck to build your business. Right?

You can't. You can't rely on maybe I'll get a Vic one day in my downline or a Dave Wood. Maybe you will. And maybe they'll get in and quit. Right?

And then your income goes to zero. Right? I've actually ran into lots of people that have built a business and made all their money from one person and when that person quits or stops succeeding or gets sick of it or whatever, their income goes to almost nothing and they're constantly trying to recapture by getting one more influential, awesome guy. Right? So how do you really get off to the next level in your business?

You need to produce and be willing to do whatever it takes within that framework. Okay? So I break it into producing, team building. Right? And duplication.

Duplication is actually the last thing. Now tomorrow I'm not going to cover team building and I'm not going to cover duplication. You say, that's weird. Why? Because the only goal is to teach you how to be a producer.

And so tomorrow's going to be a little bit different because it's not like a how to build a power network product. It's a how to build a business product and how to be a top producer. How to recruit. I'll teach you tomorrow, for example, how I recruited. I got online my first six months.

I recruited 250 people. Right? I'll tell you what I told people on the phone. Right? Because I used to actually take phone calls before I had any sort of reasonable list.

Most of us actually did. Not all of us. Right? Not being on the phone all day but learning how to be smart with it. Right?

And learning what to do and how to lead people and how to get people to make decisions. Paul, I closed you on the phone, didn't I? Wait, did Daniel get you on the phone with me? What happened? Yeah, you booked an appointment with me and I closed you.

Right? And I just got you in. Right? And you've been in ever since. So this is almost five years and you're still in.

Right? Justin's made a million. You got Mike Hobbs down there, the whole prosperity team. Right? There's like 46 figure earners in your group.

Yeah. And I closed you on the phone. That was back in 2009. Right? And so I'll show you how to do that.

I'm not gonna make it the whole day. I'm also just gonna show people show you how to do presentations and live presentations on the internet you know, hangouts and webinars and how to sell on them. Right? Because a lot of people like if you start doing live stuff you'll start selling. Like a lot of you are like I have a thousand people on my list but nobody's joining.

Are you doing live stuff? Well, no. Why? Well, I don't know how. All right?

So I'll show you the formula that I use. Right? I've used it for years and I've used it the same. I used to use it with slides when I was new because I was nervous. And that's the truth.

You go back, you say, Yeah. I was a scaredy poop when I got started. Right? I used those funny makeup words. I'll show you my formula for constructing live presentations.

I'm gonna show you how to do it on the internet. We're also gonna show you an offline formula to do if any of you want to where you can go from the internet to meetings and sell in the meetings unbelievably predictably. Okay? So those are some of the things that we're gonna be covering tomorrow because the goal is to get you to full-time income. That's the goal.

Right? Yeah. So... So... That's tomorrow.

That's what that is. I'm gonna be walking you through that. Some of the history of network marketing. History of systems. How they work.

How the industry works. So you guys understand kind of like... You understand really how this builds. And piecing some of those chunks together. I'm not really gonna be talking about a lot about traffic and conversions but I did get Vic to agree to come up and do some critiques for people's Capture Pages and to give some feedback on Capture Pages and get you to convert some more leads.

So he's gonna come up here and do that with me tomorrow. I've also got some presentation critiques that I'm gonna do with a handful of people up here. We're gonna do some examples of presentations. So I'm not just gonna like teach it. I'm gonna...

I'm gonna... I'm gonna teach you a formula for doing it and then we're going to construct two presentations live. Okay? In the room. And show you how to sell Okay?

So we're gonna do that tomorrow. And then we're gonna show you how to get people to events. And tie it all together. Because if you guys could learn to do that. Right?

Which is really the core skill of making money in a full time way. We can get you to anything. Right? And then the next... Next event, we're gonna do a team building formula.

The next event, we're gonna do a formula on systems and duplication to show you guys how to duplicate. A lot of this actually comes, I was just having a conversation with Paul Gardner. I'll use him as example. I just had an hour long conversation with Paul Gardner telling him why his team isn't duplicating, right? Is Paul in here?

Right? Was that helpful? Yeah, you understand now why it's happening like it's happening? Like the only people in your team is like you and then all the other people producing and then nobody else is duplicating, right? We were talking about that.

And now you know how to fix it, right? So we're gonna show you how to go from producer to building teams, to building systems and duplication. It's actually organized information and will blow you away. So that's what we're doing tomorrow. Now, I don't actually know, we were asking the leaders feedback.

Jonathan, what was the leader's feedback on what to do with people who pay for the VIP thing and the product? What would we decide on? Do you? If you had an opportunity to get it early. Okay, so tomorrow you guys will be able to participate in a live product, all right?

And see it as it's developed and interact with it, those of you who come to the VIP day. And if you don't, it's not a big deal because I'm not gonna twist your arm. You say, Dave, I just got this, I just got this. Should I go? Well, you know, you should go if you feel like you should go, right?

And if you don't feel like you should go, then don't. It's not a big deal to me, okay? Because I'm just here to help you and I'm here to help you succeed. And that's the goal. And so you're gonna be a part of that and you're gonna be able to lock in your power lines early when we actually do the launch of the product because people have asked us about that before.

You know, they've said, you know, we come to the events and we wanna make sure we can lock in the spots of the power lines. So we're gonna allow you guys early access for purchasing that when it comes live. But more importantly, you're gonna be in the room and be a part of it, okay? And what I'm gonna do after the event is I'm gonna do a private group. I'm gonna do a private group coaching with people, different time than VIX, okay?

Every week, right, for the next four weeks. I'm not gonna drag it on forever because this is actually really simple stuff, but it's simple stuff that's like building blocks, right? It's building block stuff that you need, especially when you're new, to piece things together. So I'm gonna do that and then walk people through that. I'll be bringing people up, leaders, examples, breaking things down, breaking down problems with people.

Like a lot of you guys are actually trying to close people and things, but you just don't know how to do it. Nobody's ever really taught you how to effectively do it. So I'll break down what's going wrong and why it's not working, right? And I have actually, and you know, I know I talk about not being on the phone all the time because I don't do it anymore, but I've actually closed more than 5,000 people on the phone before in Power Network. So this comes from how I became the number one recruiter in four companies in a row before in Power Network existed, okay?

And I did it through really process, not being on the phone more than an hour or two a day, closing 95 to 98% of the people that I talked to. I'd actually close somebody and then I'd go to the next appointment with the first person on the phone and close the second person and keep both on the phone and then close the third person and then close four in a row. And I did that three, four days in a row sometimes, right? So I'll show you how I did that tomorrow and some things like that because when you're starting your business, if any of you have watched the master's course, I talk about in one of the first modules about different phases of growth in your business, okay? I talk about getting past the grind, but to get past it, you gotta go through it.

And what's the grind? The grind is the phase of your business where you get in and you just kind of gotta do whatever it takes, right? And that's what everybody tries to avoid. They're like, no, wait, wait, wait, wait. I wanna be the guru.

I wanna be the guru. I don't wanna do that, but I wanna be the guru, right? Like one of my really close friends, right? He's asked me what to do for four years. And for four years, I've told him, you doing live stuff every week yet?

No. Okay. Just wonder, right? Because, because he doesn't listen. So, you know, I just stopped telling him right at that.

I say, we'll start doing live stuff and then ask me again. Right? You do live stuff, right? So we're gonna show you a formula for doing that because it's a different way to get people to come to your live stuff than just saying, hey, come to my presentation because I'm gonna pitch you my business, right? That tends to stop working after you do it once or twice, right?

People are like, well, I've been to the presentation. I'm sick of that. So there's a different way of doing it that constantly will result in constant signups from really small lists. I used to get 30 leads a day and sponsor two people a day from that into a $500 buy-in every day, at least sometimes four people from 30 leads a day, right? You can only do that with good micro strategies, right?

So that's what I'm gonna be talking about tomorrow. So guess what? I'm not even going to do a call to action for it because if you don't want to go, not a big deal. Okay? So I think there's registration forms in the back and you can register if you want.

And I don't wanna end with that. And the reason is because a lot of you came and you gotta leave today or whatever. And I wanna make sure that you leave feeling good, okay? And those of you who can go, you should go. And those of you who can't or you've gotta get back home to the kids or you've already planned your exit ticket, you can't change it or whatever, I want you to feel good, all right?

So let's talk about just the next year and the next two years and what we're gonna do. And then let's talk about you, right? And leaving here and taking action, right? This is the smallest group we've ever had together, right? Probably will be the smallest group we ever have.

Next regional probably have 1,000, 1,500 people at it. Next one will have 1,000 or 1,500 people too, okay? So this is an intimate time. We're here with four multi-million dollar earners during our best week ever, during this limited time window where you get to meet literally every million dollar earner in the room. It's a special weekend, right?

Tell them I'm not here. And you know, like I said before, everything you need to know to go out there and make it happen. If you will just work like you work a job, right? I'm just telling you, you know it. You can do this faster than you think.

You can do this bigger than you think, okay? And we can help you along the way. We're gonna stick around. Hopefully we've demonstrated that. We've stuck around through some bullshit that would leave people like ticking their tail between their legs and crying, right?

Because their wiener hurts, right? Seriously, and we've stuck around and we've changed and we've adapted things, all right? And we're going to stick around. Some of you just needed to hear me say that, okay? I will fight for you, okay?

Because I am doing this for the team. Now, do I make a lot? You say, Dave, but you're making money. Well, yeah, with the same comp plan as you. Like a lot of people don't realize my affiliate position, right, is not the one that's the admin position.

That money goes to the company, not me, right? If pass ups go to the company, it goes to the company, not the Dave Wood spot, right? That money that I make is from my affiliate position, from building teams, okay? So that's what I am, is I'm a team builder. And the reason I started this company is because I was making a lot of money for a couple of years.

To me, a lot, I mean, it wasn't like Vick money. It's kind of stuck there for a couple of years. But the reason I was stuck was because I was trying to help my team succeed and nothing was working, right? Nothing was working. Now, I'm not talking about helping everybody succeed because that's ridiculous.

Guys, everybody's not going to succeed. I'm talking about people working their ass off, right? Who deserve it, you know? There's something wrong with it because he works his ass off and he's talented, smart, listens to advice and does exactly what you tell him to do, right? Exactly.

So for me, there was something wrong, okay? And I was making money. My team was broke and they couldn't succeed. It wasn't that they weren't, it was that they couldn't. And I was trying to figure out what was broken.

So what happened is I tried a bunch of random stuff out and then that led me all the way up until 2011, right? When I was so discouraged from trying to help people succeed who deserved it, okay? Because I don't believe in free. I believe that blessing comes from work, right? That's what I believe.

I believe that the more you work, the more exposure you create, the luckier you seem to get because the probabilities continue to work in your favor, right? The farmer keeps sowing the seeds, Jim Rohn likes to say, right? Those people, I believe, deserve great things. So I had a problem when they couldn't make it. For me, that was a big issue internally, right?

So what I did was I tried stuff for two years and then when it didn't create what I wanted, right? I just stopped doing anything, right? And I sat there for like three or four months, like staring at my computer, looking at data, talking to a couple of my friends in the industry and saying, what's wrong with this thing? Now, all my friends in the industry had quit the industry and gone over to be guru info marketing people because they didn't believe that the industry worked because they had built a team of 2000 and then had dwindled down to 200. You guys have met these guys, but they sell info products on how to build down lines in the thousands.

But what they don't sell info products on is how to build down lines into the thousands, meaning 2000 that then collapses the next day, right? Well, for me, that's a problem. I'm not gonna sell a product on something that I can't do, right, if I'm the one creating it. Now, if Vic creates it and I sell his and he could do it, I'm fine with that, but I wouldn't sell a product on paid traffic. It'd be like, yeah, let me show you how to do my paid traffic strategies.

Vic? Right? Because that's not what I do. I'm a networker, right? So for me, it was a big disconnect.

And why is it a disconnect? Because for me, I sell a dream. Now, some people, they criticize our industry, like, those guys are selling dreams. Well, yeah, what's the problem? So does school.

Doesn't it? And that's some bullshit. They don't even pretend it's that cool. They're like, you gotta go to school and it's hard, man. Then get a job and grind it out for 40 years to live your good old years.

Well, how much do I make then? Well, it's about 60% of what you made when you were working, which is what? Oh, like 14 bucks an hour that increases adjusted for inflation every 14 months that unfortunately never seems to actually match how fast things get expensive, right? And they sell thin air. So for me, I was selling a dream about living the lifestyle that I was living in, but my team wasn't.

So for me, I felt like I was selling thin air. To me, that's selling thin air, right? To me, that's selling thin air more than if I was actually selling thin air, but people were making money on it because I'm actually not selling the air, I'm selling the dream, right? That's the way I build organizations. And so I stopped doing anything.

And then I ordered some video equipment, actually went out to John Ambrose's house and had some conversations with him. And he was a guy like me that was making a lot of money and his team wasn't really doing that well, but he was making a lot of money. We had some conversations, I had some ideas from those conversations that I had when I was out there and I kind of floated around in my head. And then one day I was thinking about these old school Amway guys. And I was thinking about what I learned from Eric Worre and then I was thinking about what I'd done over the last two years.

I'm thinking about the people that actually succeeded in my team and I was thinking about all these different commission plans and things like this and all the different pieces of building a massive company. And it was like lightning came into my brain. And I had the comp plan, first three products, blogging system, funnel all downloaded into my brain. Where from Jesus. I'm kidding.

I just had to say that to make our CEO. No, I'm just joking. He actually thinks that's funny too. I don't know where from, maybe I was inspired by it. But what happened after that was magical in the sense that I look back over the last, since 2011 and I have been in the right place at the right time even when I think I'm not now, since I had the idea.

Now I always discover that after the pain that I go through. But then when I look back and I say, oh, that pain was there right before this happened. Like the merchant accounts. I've told this story before, but I want you guys to really think about this. And there's like a million weird stories I could tell you about like us being blessed or something.

Like it's like if there's an angel there splinking fairy dust on us as we go along. Like the merchant account thing. People are like, God, that was a fiasco. I wanna think about this for a second. I started with the idea of everybody processing their own payments.

Cause I was like, well, yeah, that's genius. They get the payments instantly. Unfortunately, there's no merchant company in the world that will give merchant accounts to an unlimited growing amount of network marketers, right? There just isn't, they won't do it. They don't like it.

That's not what they're in business to do, right? The thing is too risky. So we thought it was a great idea. Cause it's like, well, they get monthly fees. People get payments instantly.

Well, bam, we don't have to deal with customer service. Everybody deals with their own customers. One of the problems with it. But we started it, right? And they shut it down, I think in three weeks when they'd given us 5,700 merchants, right?

Took at least three weeks for the first day to shut that down. Three weeks, right? You say, wow, that was fast, right? Well, here's the thing. We'd brought in about 8,000 people.

By the time they actually turned them off, it was January 4th. We'd brought in a little over 10,000 people, right? If they had waited two more months to shut those off, there is not a merchant in the world that would have taken us, not a single one. We were at a size to where we were small enough to where other people would still take us. Had that happened any later, any later at all, we would have been out of business.

Had it happened any sooner, people would not have made enough money to stay around. It literally happened at the only time possible for it to happen, for us to stick around, right? How's that for being blessed? It was a blessing we got shut down because it was unsustainable, and it was, right? So we fixed it, right?

And I could go into story after story after story after story of weird things that have happened at the exact time. Now, some of you are saying, well, that's lucky. Okay, I keep getting lucky then. You know, I'm like the luckiest person on earth, I guess. I suppose, right?

We kept people around through two months of not being able to get paid. Name another network marketing company that's done that ever. Name another company that has leaders leave and come back. Okay, where's that happen? Where?

Has it happened in any big company you know? Anybody here know of a company where leaders leave and come back? They leave with teams of thousands and they go somewhere else and then they go there for a few months and they say this sucks and then they come back and the company doesn't kick them out in the meantime. Where's that happened? Here, right?

So we've had a lot of neat things happen over the last couple of years. I've seen blind people make money. And honestly, I don't know how because I don't think our site works for blind people, right? We fixed that. I've seen people make money who don't even really speak English.

I've seen people with cancer make money here, right? And I've seen people who I've known for years that struggled break through big time. Justin Berengia, he struggled to pay his rent in a 350 square foot condo in Costa Rica on the Pacific coast, which is not a lot of money, right? When he went to our first event in Atlanta and he's made a million dollars, a million dollars in 18 months after that, right? Lawrence Tam, you guys see him as a big superhero and stuff.

And I mean, he's like a big superhero cuddly bear. I want to give him a hug every time I see him because he's so sexy. That man, I knew him since 2009 when he was in my first team that he was in with me. And I've coached him since 2009. I was always frustrated with him not being able to make it.

And he was one of the inspirations for me getting discouraged because I saw him work so hard. I just couldn't figure out why he wasn't making any money until I thought about it a lot. And he's made a million dollars, right? Tony Rush, everybody says, oh, superhero, he'd make money in anything. That's true, but he's burned out, about bankrupt, right?

Done with the phone. Like that was like his way of building a business was prospecting, right? I didn't know he was broke when he got in because he never told me. And then he got up on stage and he told his story. And I said, you're kidding me.

Look what's happened, right? You know, my buddy Chris, now he's, that's a talented guy. Bringing in like, I mean, literally, like he probably didn't want me to say it, but you know, he's like, Dave, don't say how many people I'm bringing in because it's this really small number of people. It's like six or seven or eight people a month or something like that, right? Now he's known me since I've been 12 and he's seen everything I've been through and he's been really close to me this whole time and he knows a lot of stuff, right?

And I've seen person after person after person who stuck around us break through and make it. And all it is for you, it's a decision to whether you're gonna do this or not. You're here, obviously, because you want this. It's so obvious because if you didn't, you'd get up, you'd leave or whatever. You're still here, right?

And here you are, and here's what I'm gonna tell you that I know, because I believe that parts of our life are orchestrated somehow. I don't know how, I just think they are because of the weird things that have happened to me in my life. I got more weird stories than anybody I know and all of them are true, right? And I believe from watching a lot of people for a long time that you are exactly, exactly sitting right now or standing or walking where you should be right now to reach your goals and your vision and your dream that's in your heart. Because I believe you're here for a reason, right?

Does it mean you're gonna stay here now? Does it mean this is your future for the next 40 years? I don't know. For some of you, yeah, right? For some of you making the decision, yeah, right?

But I believe you are here sitting where you're sitting for a reason, right? It is not my responsibility and not your uplines and not your sponsors to make your decisions for you, to take your action for you. It's not my responsibility. It's not my place in life. I'm not God.

I'm not your mom. right? Nor do I pretend that I am, right? I'm not going to boss you around. If you don't listen, I'm not going to say, please, right?

Because it's your life. I will do this irregardless of anybody quitting, leaving, joining a new deal, cancelling their auto dealership, up months, down months, right? Sending me an email that says, I've tried for a month, right? I'm going to do this, with or without you. And I see it like this.

This beautiful island with the most delicious fruit ever. Big houses, fancy cars, it's over there. And I'm on a train driving that way. Some of you are all on it. Some of you, not really.

Not everybody's going to stay on the train. Some of you are standing there watching it, and we're stopping, and we're saying, come on. And you're sitting there, and you're saying, I want to dip my toe in the train. I want to see if it's really going to that beautiful island. Wait, wait.

I want to sit here and watch and just kind of see what happens. OK. Missed the momentum. Missed the growth. See, I learned something from a guy named Randy Schrader.

He is a really interesting guy. Sounds like he's like, he sounds like this. You ever heard Chris Darnie? He's like, no. I am Chris Darnie.

You know, like that? That's kind of like Randy Schrader sounds. And Randy Schrader was doing a training, and I think he's over at Monobee now, like Bill is a rep still. But he was doing a training on hypergrowth phases. And the reality is, is everybody says, well, we're in at the 2%, and then it's like 98% market penetration, and we're going to be huge.

And I've been in like Amway meetings where they're like, and then we're at 2% market penetration, and it's going to go into hypergrowth at any moment. And it's like 2005. You guys, right? Come on. It was like 30 years ago.

But you know what? The funny thing was, is a few years later, their first billion dollar month, they like doubled since I was in. I was like, those booger old people were right. And I look at that, and I look at all these things, but the reality is, is that Schrader said there's phases of growth companies go through where they go through bursts of momentum, right? And they go through downturns, and they go through bursts of momentum if they do things right.

And he says, every time there's a burst of momentum, a lot of people, they make tons of money. He says, everybody thinks it's from getting at the top, right? Or it's because they got in at the right time and talked to the right people and were lucky. And he says, you can think that, right? And you guys can think that if you want.

Oh, I should have got in at this time, or I should have worked my tail off then, or I, oh man, I miss fixed lunch, I didn't make any money today, right? Whatever, right? Here's what he said that I'll never forget. He said, it's not the momentum that makes you rich. It's the people that create the momentum that get rich in it.

It's the people who create it. It's not the people that are in it. It's the people that create it. See, we're going to create the momentum we create, you and I. We'll create momentum by having the biggest week ever, launching new products, coming out with killer content, right?

I think you do it. Hey, Paul, you can do it in 30, buddy. You know that? Hey, stand up real quick. Paul Gardner telling you something, buddy.

Tomorrow, if you want to, you can raise the pulse in your business from 1,000 to 3,000 bucks a day and all you got to do is believe and work and you already know how. You down, brother? You think you can do it? Are you going to do it? That's it?

He's going to do it. See? That's how you create momentum is by lifting people up, right? I'll create momentum by doubling the million-dollar earners that we've gotten in Power Network. I'll create momentum by figuring out new ways of people making money in Power Network.

I'll come up with ways of making money nobody's ever thought of before. Why? Because I'm a super creative guy, especially when it comes to helping you make money because I'm excited about that. I get all pumped up and I stare at my computer and I say, how can I help people make more money today, right? I get excited about it, right?

I'm excited about that. I'm excited about somebody crossing the stage who's another homeless guy and earning his million-dollar rank, right? I'm excited about more women crossing the stage and getting a million-dollar rank, right? I'm excited to have the first Spanish speaker that doesn't speak any English crossing the stage and getting a million-dollar rank, right? I'm excited for the next person that's an engineer to start part-time and to get a million-dollar rank, right?

Here's what I'm the most excited for, though. I'm excited for you to step into your vision, for you to step into your future, for you to stand up and to realize that you can be greater than you think you can, for you to stand up and to realize that you can do more than you think you can, for you to stand up and to realize that it's you that needs to step into that place and say, I'm the leader now. It's you that needs to step into that place and say, I'm going to do it now. You're going to do it now. That's right.

Tell everybody. Tell everybody. Right. It's you, you're the one who's going to step up and say, I'm going to get the leads. I'm going to get the signups.

I'm the one that's going to bring in two people a day. I'm the one that's going to pass Paul Gardner or Keala or Michelangelo or Tony or whoever it is. I'm the one that's going to get up and say, you know whose time it is to win? It's my time to win because I deserve it. I fought.

You know what? I've been out there in the world and I've tried everything and I failed. It doesn't matter if I failed because it's my time. Right? You got to be the one to bring the people to the event.

You've got to be the one to say, it doesn't matter if I'm in debt. It doesn't matter if I got 30,000 on the credit cards. Doesn't matter if the IRS is going to come repossess my home because I'm going to make it happen because it's not the past that matters. It's what I do right now. You're the one that's going to get you to look your boss in the eye and say, go fuck yourself today because I'm making more money than you.

Right? You're the one that gets to give to the missions. You're the one that gets to get your kids to the best school. You're going to be the one that gets to build the army. You're going to be the one that gets to have the vision.

You're going to be the one that gets to speak life into people. You're going to be the one that transforms people. You're going to be the one that recruits and out recruits your whole upline in your last company. You're going to be the one that laughs when your downline quits because they're just not getting on the train and you're laughing at them because you're saying, go back to the job. Go back to that stupid deal.

Get three to get three to get three to make a dollar and a half. Right? You're going to be the one that's in control. Right? Who's down to be in control of your future?

Who's down? You guys ready to rock it? I'll see you on the beaches of the world, my friends. Thank you for coming. For those of you coming tomorrow, I'll see you and you can register if you're not going.

Right back there.
