Hey, what's going on guys, Paul CQ here, Cassandra Lee, and together we are the Power Couple. Man, I'm excited. Yeah, man. Let's do this. We're going to be talking about opportunities everywhere.

Man. Can't you see? Baby, you got a nice haircut. I know I got a nice haircut. Are you getting ready for Vegas or something?

I'm feeling good, man. I'm getting ready for Vegas. I'm getting ready for, to make a million dollars today, man. I'm just excited about life. Why shouldn't we, man?

There's opportunities every single day. They're everywhere. I mean, if you just, I mean, here's the deal, right? Every problem leads into an opportunity. So maybe we should start, stop looking at problems the way we normally do, right?

From a negative perspective. What if we started looking at problems? You started identifying problems as money-making opportunities, right? Money-making opportunity. Right?

Because you get paid for solving people's problems. I mean, you get paid for solving people's problems. That's it, period. I mean, that's really what an entrepreneur is. I would think about it like this, too, right?

If opportunity is everywhere, every day, you know, sometimes we don't realize it, though. We think that, you know, I hate that line where it's like, oh, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Oh, once-in-a-lifetime, right? No. There's no once-in-a-lifetime.

There's opportunities literally every single day, every day, every day, every day. So it's really important that you get that, though, right? How do I know it's every day? Well, I mentioned this in a previous episode, okay, where if this was a day, right? If this was a day, like if I said, baby, I have a gift for you, I have a surprise for you.

What's that? Today. Oh, thank you. I just gave him today, right? Imagine today was a tangible thing, like this is today, this right here, right?

If you're given today and someone else wasn't given today, it was like you realize that someone had their last night, right? You have today. Don't you ever wonder or ask how or why did I get today? Like what am I supposed to use today with? There must be a new opportunity today because it's a whole new day.

It's a whole new day. Like why would you be given another day to have no opportunity to use it? You know what I'm saying? Like every day there's an opportunity because then really why have it? Why would you be blessed with a day for you not to use it?

There must be something there for you to use. But are you looking at it? Can you see it? Here's how you see it, right? Because, you know, the problem is that a lot of people don't see it, right?

It's like they can't see it. I don't think they got it. We're going to get it right now. Right. It's like a lot of reasons.

A lot of the reason why people think that, you know, how's their opportunity every day? Here's how you switch the light bulb. Okay. Some of you guys know the 10X rule today. I like to read this.

I just keep reading that thing over and over. Okay. And as I was reading that thing, I listened to it too as well, right? One of the sentences on that book, it says start living your day as if it was your last day, like as if your life depended on it. Guys, check this out for a second, right?

Start living your life like your life depended on it. You make every second count. And that's what I'm right now. That's what I'm working on. Okay.

Because like you, I'm working on it too. And I'm working right now on the 10X effort. I already got the whole 10X goals, right? I'm setting monumental goals. Now I'm trying to focus in, focus in and laser in on the effort part.

I'm trying to make every second count. This is what I mean. If I'm in the car, I don't have a laptop. I can't mark it. Or maybe I could on my phone, right?

I'm trying to make, instead of listening to music, dude, I can switch that and listen to audio, all right? Instead of standing around and just looking, waiting for a ride or waiting for someone to pick me up, dude, I can turn that into a video, right? When you start living every day as if it was your last, like your life depended on it, you'll be surprised all the opportunities that are in front of you. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to do some reflective thinking before you go to sleep every single night.

And I want you to replay how your day was. And I promise you that you will find time gaps throughout your day that you could have done something else. And in those time gaps, that's an opportunity. Bam! We're not talking about just money making opportunity.

We're not talking about physical money. Opportunity, period. We're talking about opportunity. What are you doing with your time? You see, man, what he just gave you was gold.

It was pure gold. Look, check this out, guys. Check this out. You see, it's the moments that you live life on autopilot where it's just like, oh, I'm just going to get up and do what I'm going to do and just brush my teeth and just get in the car and just drive and just eat something and just, you know, watch a show and then just go to sleep. Like when you live your life like that, duh, no wonder why you don't see any opportunity.

No wonder why you don't see any opportunity. Man, you should be looking for opportunities of building new relationships, opportunities to grow your business, opportunities to make a sale, opportunities to increase your income, opportunities to reconnect someone, opportunities to engage people, opportunities to build, you know, to connect more with your spouse, opportunities to build more relationships with your children, opportunities to engage or lose weight or exercise or get better in your health, opportunities to grow in your mind, opportunities are everywhere. Increase everything. You're not looking at it that way because you're living life like the same old, same old. Look guys, when you start looking, you know, the only way you'll begin to start looking at things a little differently is when you begin to start acting as if your life depended on it.

Right. This is something that honestly we have to constantly remind ourselves. Right. Because the truth is that it's very easy to get distracted. It's very easy to act as if tomorrow's promise is very easy to think that we have plenty of time to live.

Why don't you do this? Right. Let's do this right now. Okay. How old are you?

Okay. Let's say, let's say that you're 35 years old. Okay. Let's say you're 35 years old. We're going to do some math here.

Okay. Maybe this is going to increase the sense of urgency. Now, even then, I'm not the best in math and sometimes I don't know how to use a calculator, so don't quote me. This is just to give you an example of what, just so you know, this is going to help some urgency. Right.

Just think about this for a second. Right. Most of the things and most of the effort that we exert, if you look back in time, look back at any moment in your life where you've done something, I mean, something amazing or something, or look back at a time in your life when you had something to do or a project was due or you had to do something at the end or you were playing a game and you were at the last minute. We always exert all of the energy and most of our effort at the end. At the end.

Like when I was a kid, the project was due. I never did it in the beginning. I waited till all the way to that night and dude, I stood up. I started grinding it out, man. I exerted all my effort.

Right. Same thing when I took my black belt test. I started pushing all my effort at the end. Right. When I decided to come up with money to go to, I needed an investment of over $5,000 for my business.

I started doing it at the end. I gave myself 72 hours. I waited till the last hour to come up with the money. Right. So look, this goes to show that why does it take us at the end of something to exert all the effort?

Do we really need to have gray hair, wrinkly face? Okay. Look at yourself in the mirror and say, damn, where did all the time go? I should start right now. If you have gray hair, hey, you look good.

Okay. If you have wrinkly face. You look amazing. Dude, you look amazing. I can't wait to get to you.

I can't wait to have wrinkly. Not wrinkly, maybe. Just playing around. Okay. But here's the deal, right?

Here's how we're going to help you increase your sense of urgency. Right. Let's say you're 35 years old right now. Okay. On the average, let's say you live up to 75 years old.

That's really good. If you get to live up to 75 years old, that's, that's phenomenal. That's actually really, really good. I mean, that's awesome. That's exciting.

Okay. You get to live up to 75 years old. That's minus 35, right? That means you'd have 40 years left. If you're 35 years old.

This is crazy. You'd have 40 years left. This is crazy. Right now. At this moment, you'd have 40 years left.

Are you getting it? Okay. How many Wednesdays do you have every single month? Check this out, right? So on the average, you have 40 years, right?

Let's say you have 40 years left, right? And let's say how many Wednesdays, right? How many Wednesdays do you have in a year? Well, I mean, let's say on the average, you have four Wednesdays. You have a Wednesday every single week, right?

So then you do four times, four times 12, because that's a year. That's 48 Wednesdays, right? 48 Wednesdays, which means that there's 48 Wednesdays in a year, in a single year. So you take 48, and you multiply by 40 years that you would have left. Correct?

Yep. Dude, you have 1920 Wednesdays left. Oh. Damn. That's not a lot.

That's not a lot, man. You have 1920 Wednesdays left. Look. You look great with that hair. Thank you.

I appreciate it. That's not a lot of time, is it? Not enough. Are you going to start working like it's the fourth quarter? Are you going to start working like you're about to die?

Because, I mean, you only have 1920 days left. I mean, Wednesdays left, right? That's not a lot of time. You think that's a lot of time? No.

It's not, right? It goes back like that. And this is exactly what I'm working on right now, this moment. As we speak, this is what I'm drilling in my head. This is what we're drilling in our head right now, right?

It's like we're having little flashes, but we need to be more consistent ourselves. You know what? Sometimes I say to myself, man, I could do more right now. What could I be doing right now? Where I look back at my day and I say, damn it, I missed it.

I could have been doing that right then and there, but instead I did that, right? What if you started operating your day like you only had 1920 Wednesdays left? That would increase your sense of urgency, which would then open your eyes up to see that there's opportunity every second of the day if you start looking at life like your life depended on it. Absolutely. When your life depends on it, all of a sudden you may – look, there's a great movie.

It's called Unbroken. Love that movie. Let me give you a piece of the movie. These dudes get stuck out in the ocean with only the little boat with a little bit of water and a little bit of cookies or whatever. That was gone like the first three days.

They were in the ocean for like over 40 days plus more. While they were in the ocean, let me tell you a good example here. There are sharks floating around in the ocean. There are sharks floating around the ocean. Here's what happens.

A plane comes and they're waving at the plane because they think it's – Save us. Save us, please. Turns out that plane was an enemy plane. So they turn around. They're getting excited, and they start shooting at them.

And they jump into the water, and as they're in the water, they're with the sharks now. And it's shooting, shooting, shooting, and then the plane goes by, and they think that they killed them. And the guys swim back up to the water. They get on the boat. One of the sharks tries to attack them.

One of the guys grabs the paddle that was on the boat, hits the shark, starts hitting it with the paddle that was on the boat, hits the shark, kills the shark, brings the shark on the boat, and then the shark becomes part of their food. Look, they took the paddle that was on the boat, turned it into a weapon, which then turned that weapon into killing the shark to save their life, which then the shark that they killed became the food that they were going to eat. That's opportunity. That's someone right there that used their resources and turned every moment of that situation into an opportunity to live, an opportunity to eat, an opportunity to use something as a weapon, an opportunity to live longer. Let me ask you something, man.

If you began to see life like that with opportunity, with your eyes unveiled to see things, to hear things, to just recognize opportunity when it's there, let me ask you something. How many opportunities have you already missed? How many opportunities are you willing to miss? Because if you can make the conscious decision to start looking at opportunities for what they are, now the thing is are you going to take action on them? Because sometimes, did you know sometimes people actually recognize the opportunity?

They're sitting there and they're looking at the opportunity, but then they never really actually jump on it. Jump on it. Jump on it. You know why? Because they either have reserve, they're afraid of what people think, they're not sure if the opportunity is really an opportunity.

Yeah. Like are they going to be accepted for taking the opportunity, you know what I'm saying? Exactly. Man, there's opportunity everywhere. Man, have you ever wondered why did somebody come up to you and say, Hey, what's up?

And try to start a conversation. Was it for something? Was it for nothing? Like, have you ever wondered what that opportunity was for? I mean, there's opportunities to be polite, opportunities to be kind, opportunities to teach, opportunities to inspire.

There's opportunities about everything, every day, everywhere, and you got to use them. At the end of the day, you're either going to be excited about the opportunities you capitalize on or you're going to be regretting of the opportunities you missed out on. Right? Sometimes it requires something bad for us to happen and something bad needs to happen to us in order for us to start reflecting and looking back at all the opportunities we missed out on. Yes.

Does it honestly need to take something bad to happen to you? It shouldn't. You see, when I was 19 years old, I experienced, I would say, I got into trouble with the law. I got locked up for 90 days, right? Everyone thought my life was over.

My sister thought my career was over. My parents didn't think that I was ever going to make any money because they thought that the only way you make money is through college. And if I go to college, it would be a waste of time because with the criminal record, who would honestly hire me, which then I would need an expungement to clear my record, which then I would need over 10 years after probation to then get an expungement or to qualify for an expungement, which means that I would have to be 30 years old before I can make anything of myself. Right? Well, anyways, dang.

Here's what happened, right? I was locked up for 90 days, which felt like 90 years. Okay? In those 90 days, I started to reflect and I started to say to myself, damn, I had an opportunity here, an opportunity to avoid this, an opportunity. I just started to look back and I said to myself, damn, there was so much.

There were so many opportunities where I could have backed out from what I was doing and I would have never landed in jail. There were so many opportunities where I could have said I love you more to my mom and I did it. There were so many more opportunities that I could have used that time to teach something to my brother. There were so many other opportunities that I could have used that time where I could have just done something more for my parents, right? Or whatever the case is.

And sometimes when something bad happens to us, we reflect and we say, damn, there was so much opportunity. But what if you start looking at life right now? Like, damn, there's so much opportunity right now. I mean, a man that's locked up in jail, a man that's behind bars, sees everything as an opportunity. They do.

Think about it. They're reflecting. They see everything as an opportunity. And a man that gets right out of jail, sees everything as an opportunity. Grateful.

I mean, even people in third world countries who come to America. Who come to America. I mean, immediately they start seeing everything as an opportunity. Immediately. But what about you?

What about you? When are you going to start seeing things as an opportunity? And why are we sharing this? Because look, in order for you to be the best business you can be, you have to start looking, intentionally seeking opportunities that can catapult you to your next level. That's the truth.

But are you doing it? Hey guys, we're here every single Monday through Friday, okay? 5.30 p.m. Eastern. Look, we super apologize.

We have some technical difficulties, all right? I promise you that after this show I'm going to upload this into the thing, okay? And then I'm going to set the timer so then I don't have to do it last minute, which then creates problems. I apologize, okay? Yes, I procrastinated.

I admit it, okay? I'm sorry. Anything else you want to say, man? No, man. I love you guys.

This is The Power Couple.
