Hi, this is Kevin Sousa. Yesterday I discussed 9 ways negativity in Facebook destroys. Well, I saw it fit today to explain 11 reasons positivity in Facebook builds. And so let's get right to it. Positivity in Facebook builds, number one, by acceptance.
What do I mean by acceptance? Well, you first want to define acceptance. Having faith despite circumstances that all is well. In other words, no matter what's going on in your life, have faith that all is well and all will work out based upon your reaction and response to things that are happening all around you. I love providing people in Facebook with motivation and inspirational posts, videos, quotes, images, and actual text posts in addition to that to inspire people, to motivate people, to give them positive thoughts for their mind.
And there's a reason for that. Positivity in Facebook goes viral. And that's number two out of 11 reasons that positivity in Facebook builds. It goes viral. People love awesome, entertaining videos.
And so they're going to share them, and they're going to share them, and they're going to share them, and it goes viral. People love positivity. They like positive outlooks, positive quotes, and so they're constantly sharing those things within Facebook. So that's one of the things that helps build in Facebook is the positive posts that you do in Facebook that go viral. It feeds your good attitude.
That's what number three is. And what do I mean by that? Just what it says. When you feed your mind with good, positive information, again, videos, quotes, photos, images, people love that because it gets them to think. And when it gets people to think, it feeds their mind.
You know, we feed our bodies good food, right? And so why not feed our minds with good food? Every day we're bombarded with the negativity. So we might as well make an assertive effort to feed our minds with positive things. And that's the reason why I do that in Facebook.
Another reason that positivity in Facebook builds, it helps strengthen your focus. It really does. In other words, when you have some positive thoughts in your mind, you can focus on your goals. You can focus on your dreams. You can focus on things you desire.
You can focus on helping other people a lot better when your mind is set up with positiveness. It's that simple. A lot of this stuff is common sense. You know, there will be readers of this blog post and watchers of this video who say, ah, rubbish. Well, that's okay.
That's just attitude. That's number four. It helps strengthen focus. Number five is the reason positivity in Facebook builds is because it's actually a recipe for excellence and success. Reading a positive quote every single day feeds your mind.
And I'm going to keep saying feed your mind because it helps you to become a better person. It helps you to succeed in life when you watch a video that's inspirational or funny or gives your attitude a nice happy jump. Motivational, inspirational, happy, entertaining videos that you watch that I post in Facebook. If you read a quote or see a gorgeous image of something that means something to you, that hits you right here at home in your heart. Well, that's a recipe for excellence and success.
And so I'm going to continue posting in Facebook those kind of things to help people strive to, you know, succeed in life. The sixth reason that positivity in Facebook builds is it builds friends and followers. And if you look at my Facebook, I have close to 5,000 friends and over 53,000 followers for a reason. Because positivity is more exciting and more interesting than negativity to a lot of people. And when you start to post positive quotes, photos, images, things like that and share them, people will request you to be their friends in Facebook rather than you trying to go out and request other people to be friends, right?
People will also follow you, especially once you reach around the 4 to 4,500 mark in friends on Facebook, then they start following you versus friend because Facebook starts to give them a message that, well, the person you're trying to friend has too many friends, so you're now following them. I don't know why Facebook limits us to 5,000 friends, but it doesn't matter because you can have unlimited people following you. Many people are not going to be interested in a lot of friends and followers, and that's okay. You don't have to build all your friends and followers in Facebook to the maximum number you possibly could. But my point is that one of the reasons that positivity in Facebook builds is because it helps build friends and followers and credibility.
The seventh reason that positivity in Facebook builds is because it actually becomes a platform for agreement. People tend to agree with each other a lot more when they're a positive mindset in focus with what people want to achieve and motivation and inspiration. That's a platform for more people to agree with each other than to argue with each other like you see in the negativity that I talked about in my last video. And so that's another important reason. Number eight is that it programs your subconscious mind.
What do I mean by that? Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality, and that applies to the negative as well as the positive. If you keep planting in your subconscious mind negativity and nourish, that's really, I don't like that word, but feed your mind with repetition of that negativity, then one day that negativity becomes a reality for you in your life, and that's so true. But the same holds true on the positive side, and by providing people like what I do in my Facebook with posts that are positive, with videos that are entertaining and quotes, then I am planting in the subconscious mind of myself and others, and nourishing it through the repetition of my continuing to do that, and combining it with emotion of feel good positive plus becomes reality for a lot of people, including myself. We don't always post for other people.
We post for ourselves a lot, don't we? As long as you're posting for yourself in a positive fashion, you're going to inspire people to pretty much program their own subconscious mind with positivity. You know, somebody's trying to brainwash me. What's wrong with washing your brain? What's wrong with that?
What's wrong with washing up? Period. Another reason that positivity in Facebook builds, and this is number nine, it motivates and inspires others. When you're posting in Facebook positive things, when you're the best version of yourself, you inspire others to live the best version of themselves. It's that simple.
Motivation and inspiration is the ignition that lights the fire of desire in people, especially if they have goals and dreams that they would like to achieve, and they're involved in helping others to achieve their goals and dreams as well. Motivation and inspiration is important. Do you think negative comments, photos, quotes, videos, images, you think that's going to motivate and inspire somebody? I don't think so. It might do that negatively, but that's not what this video is about.
And so that's number nine, motivates and inspires others. Another reason that positivity in Facebook builds, it's really simple. I've been talking about it through this whole video. It helps people. When you can help people, I've gotten so much feedback in private messages, on my comments in the threads, and on posts themselves where people tag me telling me and the world how much positive posts have helped them.
And it's so, so wonderful to see the change in people that occurs when something hits them that you may have posted, whether it was a video quote or an image, that helps them with something specific in their life. That's just another reason positivity in Facebook builds. And finally, number 11, the reason positivity in Facebook builds is because it sets a positive example. It really does. What we would love to do, ideally, is to remove ourselves from all negativity.
And the way we can do that in Facebook is by blocking it. And how do we block it? Unfortunately, by blocking the people who are putting negative comments in our posts. That way you choose to be positive in attitude, health, and mindset. And you can be a strong example for everyone by continuing to post nothing but positive videos, entertaining videos, quotes, inspirational images, and replying in your comments, being as positive as you possibly can to set that example for others.
And you know, it's amazing, when you impute a virtue with others, they live up to it. So when you, for example, compliment someone, they tend to want to live up to that compliment. Be sure that you're genuine and sincere when you compliment others in Facebook. And so those are the 11 reasons positivity in Facebook builds. As long as you continue being that force and being the example with others, then you too can build your friends and followers and be the example to the world that you would love to help others to be themselves.
So this is Kevin Sousa, make it a wonderful day.
