Practicality dictates that everyone's results will vary as we are all unique and different. Basically, it takes hard work to make a substantial income in this business, and some people will make no money at all. The earnings of an Empower Network affiliate will be 100% dependent upon their skills, work effort, commitment, leadership capabilities, and market conditions. Common sense would suggest that in most opportunities, one would find exceptional individuals performing well above average, while others perform under the average. Empower Network does not guarantee any level of income or your success.

To see our full income disclosure, please visit our website at www.empowernetwork.com forward slash income dot php. Everyone, 9 o'clock, we're going to rock and roll. We sometimes do things sharp around here. Sometimes we're a little bit relaxed, internet time, but tonight we are absolutely rocking and rolling right on the button. My name is Toby Black, one part of Toby and Layla, and before we get going tonight, before we kick into a couple of secrets, a couple of principles, and top three things that have really helped Layla and I in our life online and in business, I just want to make sure that everybody's on the line and ready to rock and roll.

So what I want you to do quickly is jump to your computer screen or on your cell phone and just go onto Facebook briefly and let everybody know in your circle of influence on Facebook that you're on the Empower Hour call. Jump on and say, get on quick. There's so much to do. There's so much to do. There's still a couple of spots left.

I'm on here. I'm listening to what's going on and basically show your participation on that incredible site called Facebook. Over the next couple of minutes, we're going to be diving into some information that can genuinely change your financial situation, but more importantly, change where you and your family's at mentally, emotionally, physically. Take you from a place maybe that you're right now depressed, maybe broken, maybe mentally. Maybe the economy gave you a big hit and we're actually going to guide you down the path, show you the light, so to speak, and let you know how to get there, show you the best way and the quickest way to get there.

Tonight, guys, we're going to be going over some very specific details on how you can go from where you're at to where you want to be. $400,000 in the past 12, 13 months or so, fully part-time with the Empower Network. Now, a big, fat, giant disclaimer before we get going. If you're sitting on the call right now and you feel that you can just sign up and money will fall from the sky, that's definitely not what we're talking about here. But what we are talking about is a simple and easy one-two-three system that you can immediately plug into right away and go out and see genuine results.

And if you're in your business starting from the get-go, and if that's what you want to do, then you're in the right place. Before we jump in to the secrets that I'm going to be going over, I want to tell some stories and really dive into some stuff. But before we get there, there's three types of people on the phone right now. There's three types of individuals on the phone on the Empower Hour right now. Number one is someone who's a guest.

Someone who's a guest, and this is the first time that you've ever heard about Empower Network. Maybe you checked your email. Maybe you got a text. Maybe it was on Facebook. Maybe you saw on a billboard in your city or where you are in your country, all over the world.

And that person's here, and I command you for being here. Congratulations on being here, because right now, envision a dark, narrow hallway and then a door at the end of that narrow hallway with light shining through the crack. You know how sometimes if you see a dark room and there's a light shining through the crack? Envision that right now. You are standing.

That door you're about to open and that light, of course, being the Empower Network, which is a great vehicle, the quickest vehicle, we think, for you to get to financial freedom. The second type of person on the phone right now is someone who's also a guest, but you've seen the Empower Network before. Maybe you watched the presentation video. Maybe you came to an event. Maybe you saw something on Facebook.

Maybe you heard one of these calls before, and right now is your time to join. You said, you know what? I'm coming in. I made the decision. This happened in my life.

That happened in my life, and I'm ready to move forward, and now is your time, and I commend you for being on the call. And then there's the third type of person on the call who's already involved in the Empower Network and who's making it happen. Whether they signed up today, whether they signed up yesterday, whether they signed up last month or a year ago, because they're in the process of getting to where they want to be, I commend you, and congratulations for being on the call. This call is going to be a little bit different than your normal home-based business call. If you've been in a home-based business.

Before, the calls are normally filled with hype. They're filled with BS. They're filled with a bunch of inflated people. See, around here, we're not inflated. We're inspired.

We're not talking a bunch of hype of numbers. We're talking realistic, genuine stuff that average people like you and I have gone out there and made happen. So there's not going to be any BS. So if that's what you're looking for, all hype and no action, you're on the wrong call. But if you fall into one of those three categories and you're ready to rock and roll, let's rock and roll.

Over the next few minutes, I'm going to share a story that could impact your life like it impacted my life many years ago. When I was growing up in Scotland, my main passion and purpose in life was playing ice hockey. I played from the age of three all the way through until I was 19. I became very, very good at it really quickly, and I played on the national team. I traveled all over Europe.

I played on the best teams in Scotland. I got to play all over the world thanks to that game. When I was around 15 years old, I was playing hockey, and two or three different teams were doing extremely well. I wasn't doing so well in school as I was expelled from one high school and had to go to another high school. So I moved to another high school that was about 20 or so minutes away from where I lived.

I started to go to that school, didn't really like it, but I was there because I had to go to school if I wanted to play ice hockey. So I was at that school grinding it away, and I was playing hockey. Well, more importantly, I was focused on hockey, not really school. And one day, this guy shows up, this English guy. I live in Scotland, so obviously everybody around me has a Scottish accent like mine.

And then this random, jolly-looking English fellow shows up. Him and I become best friends. We immediately have the same interest. And it turns out that his dad is actually a hockey coach, and he moved from England to Scotland because his dad was about to start coaching. The professional team, which, lo and behold, I started to play for.

So I started to play hockey for that professional team that his dad worked for and got very good at the story. And I was only 15, 16 years old, playing with guys who were 20, 30, 40 years old. And then a moment happened that Ben, his name is, this English guy that I met, and his family ended up moving over to Canada. Ben's stepdad, whose name is Scott, was actually from Canada. So they moved back to Canada, and we keep in contact through phone and through email.

And Scott, Ben's stepdad, ends up getting me a slot, a tryout, so to speak, at one of the local semi-professional teams over here in Canada, in Ontario. We make arrangements that summer, of that point when I was just turning 16, so that's almost 10 years ago, which is mind-boggling to think. Around that summer, I came over to Canada, tried out with this team. Wasn't at that pedigree yet. They had a team that I could join right now.

I joined that team and never looked back, never even went home. I was supposed to come to Canada for a month, tryout, and never went home. My parents and my sister flew back home with an empty stadium because I stayed. Now, almost 10 years later, I've been living in North America in some way, shape, or form. Now, because I was in Canada playing ice hockey, I eventually ended up meeting Layla.

My now wife, my now business partner, my now inspiration, my now everything. And now I'm living my true purpose in life, fulfilling every want and need and happiness for every single day in our family and in our life. So from one little degree, the person that I met, from me being in the game, sparked this chain of events that brought me to where I am today. Now, what does that mean for you? Well, right now, you may be...

You may be or may not be in the game. And when you're not in the game, you don't put yourself around people that can impact and change your life in ways that you could never even imagine. When I was 15 years old, growing up in Scotland, getting into drugs, getting into violence, getting into crime, at 15 years old, I could never imagine I'd be speaking on a conference call to thousands of people, earning hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, but more importantly, living the life that I want. I could never imagine that. But because I put myself in the game...

I was on taking action. I ended up meeting different people, and because of that, I am where I am today. So right now, if you are a guest on the line, and you haven't put your skin in the game, you haven't put yourself in the game, you cannot expect to where you want to be if you haven't done that. If you are in the game, I command you. You're living in purpose.

And maybe the one or two people that you need to meet are on the line right now. Maybe you've met them, because we met them through Dave and Dave. So the impact of that story is... If you're not in the game, get in the game. If you're in the game, just keep working, and you will find your one or two people.

Maybe it's yourself you have to find in order to bring you to where you want to be. You're only a few degrees away from the success you've always wanted, the success that you and your family deserve. You're only a few degrees away, and you plugging into the Empower Hour call tonight is getting you one step closer to that degree, getting you one step closer to where you want to be. Now, there's some things that I really want to break down right now in this short barrier time before I bring in our main speaker, the main man who needs no introduction, which we'll get to in a couple of minutes here. But maybe you've been brainwashed, and maybe you haven't received everything in life that you want to receive.

Maybe you aren't living the lifestyle that you want to live, because you've been brainwashed and programmed from so many years, maybe from your parents, maybe from their parents, maybe from their parents. Maybe your way of thinking. In your family, now, I'm not saying this is wrong. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying if you want to live a better life, if you want to live a life fulfilled with abundance, then you have to reprogram yourself.

Now, maybe your parents, your parents, your parents, you adopted that way of thinking. I want to tell you a story about a six-year-old girl by the name of Sue. Now, Sue, like any six-year-old, is very aware of the world around her. She's very questionable. She's very questionable, and she wants to know everything.

So one day, Sue's sitting in the kitchen coloring, and her mom, Pam, is making Sunday lunch or Sunday dinner. Everybody's going to come over. It's a Sunday tradition at Pam's house. She's going to make a nice baked ham. So as Sue's sitting there attentively, and Pam is preparing the meal, Pam cuts the ends off the ham.

Puts it in the tray. Puts it in the oven. Pretty regular, right? Well, not to Sue, because Sue asks, Mom, why are you cutting the ends off the ham? Pam's reply, the mother was, well, that's just the way we do things around here.

Sue didn't, Sue wasn't taking that. With her little intuitive brain, she, no, what do you mean that's the way things, we do things around here? Well, I want to know why. I want to know why, Mom. Why do we do it?

So Pam, she, well, I... That's just how we do things around here. That's just how it's been done in the past. That's just how we do things. Well, Sue wasn't going to stand for that.

So Sue kept on asking and asking, and finally, Pam, the mother, said, you know what? Let's call my mom. Let's call your, your grand. Let's call your grandmother, Fran. So Sue jumps on the phone.

Pam dials it for her. Calls up her mom. Hey, Mom, how are you? Oh, I'm great, Pam. How are you?

How are you? That's the really important question that she wants to ask you. Pam, Sue's mother, passes through the phone. Hey, Fran. Hey, Grandma.

How are you? I'm good. You know, the usual. Hey, Pam, my mom's making me dinner right now, and we're sitting here, and she put the ham in the oven, and I wanted to know why we cut the ends off the ham before it goes in the oven, before it goes in the dish. Sue's grandmother replies, well, Sue, you're always full of questions.

Why do you need to know this? That's just what we do. That's just what we do. That's how we do it around here. We cut off the bits of ham, we put it inside of the dish, and we put it in the oven, and then we all sit down for dinner.

And Sue was baffled by this. Sue was baffled that she couldn't get a straight answer from not only her mother, but her grandmother. So Sue's on the phone to her grandmother, Fran, and Sue's asking away and asking away and asking away, and her grandmother says, finally, okay, I'm going to call my mother. So here's Sue. Sue asks her mother.

She didn't know. Sue's mother puts on her mother, her grandmother. She didn't know. So Sue's getting to speak to her great-grandmother, Linda. So as you can imagine, Linda's almost 97, so she's very old, can barely hear on the phone.

But Sue asks her the question. She has to ask her again. Finally, Linda understands what Sue's saying and says, oh, yeah. Oh, I can tell. Sue says, well, why do we cut the ends off the ham before it goes in the dish, before it goes in the oven?

I've asked my mom. I've asked my gran. I don't know. They put me through to you, Linda, great-grandmother. And Linda says with her little almost Mary Poppins voice, oh, Sue, it's because back in my day, we didn't have a dish that the ham would fit in before it goes in the oven.

So even though years, 10, 20, 30 years later, we now have dishes that take the size of the full ham that would go in the oven and cook just the same way, taste just the same way, but there'd be more of it. Even though we have that now, it was still being done the same way because that's just how we do things around here. So why I'm telling you this story right now is maybe you're doing things in your day-to-day life. Maybe you're doing things in your life that's been passed down from your mom, from your dad, from them, from so on and so forth because that's what they've been taught. That's how they were raised.

That's how they were raised in the industrial age. Maybe that's how they were raised even before that. So what you need to do is you need to be like Sue. You need to be like that six-year-old girl who doesn't take that for an answer and she's going to create her own habits. She's going to create her own perspective in life.

And that's what you have right here. Rather than you do the same things that your family's done for light years, for 10, 20, 100 years, the way that they treat money, the way they view their perspective on life, that's not how you have to view life. And I know for certain with you being on the call right now, you definitely want to change your financial perspective when it comes to you in your future life and that's why you're on the call. Now what I'm going to do right now, guys, is I'm going to intro our next speaker and I really hate to say this. I hate those MLM home business calls where they just jack up the person to be this incredible speaker, this incredible inspiration when really it's just Aunt Bessie or Uncle Phil or Uncle Brad who's actually in the living room next to them.

Well, I actually have the honor of introducing a genuine leader, someone who's an inspiration to not just Leila and I, but an inspiration to thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people out there. He's the original visionary, Mr. David Sharp with David Wood. He put this thing together. He's a downright badass human being and Leila and I and our team and the Empower Network family, we all love to follow this individual because he truly, genuinely cares about you and your family.

So without further ado, I'm going to pass the microphone over to my man, my brother, Mr. David Sharp. You on the line, my friend? Hey, what's up, brother? I'm on the line, man.

Great stories, by the way, bro. I love it. I love it. Inspired from you, my man. Over to you, my friend.

Hey. Appreciate it. And you know, guys, I just wanted to just edify Toby and Leila here just for a second. You know, I mean, these guys have been online for a long time. I've seen them, I've seen them just, I've seen them come up from the bottom.

They started in the same place that we all started, which was the very front door. Nobody comes in the back door here. Nobody comes in through a window. This is really the truth of the internet and of network marketing, direct sales. You know, honestly, here at Empower Network, we're doing something that's completely different.

But the truth of the matter is, you can call it whatever you want to call it. Just don't call it boring. These two came through the front door. And I'm going to tell you something. They're self-made millionaires.

And that's what I love about this is because we've got so many people who are so talented. And the truth is that nobody was handed this thing. You know, we've got probably the most proven successful system that I've ever seen. But, you know, everybody's worked for it. You know, nobody gets this thing by osmosis.

And the truth of the matter is, is Toby and Leila. Over the course of the last, I think, three or four years since they've really been full-time in the game, have put themselves in the right places around the right people, around the right information, to not think that they know it all, to not think that they have all the information they need. But every time that I see these guys, they're hungrier, they're hungrier, they're hungrier for more information. And, guys, that's the secret. We could end the call right there truthfully because that is the secret, is to have an open mind, be hungry, be teachable.

And to put yourself in the position, in the situation, to get more information, to be around people who are better at things than you are, so you can download what's in their brain and ears. So I just appreciate you guys. I love you. Honestly, I could sit here and listen to you all night long. Erin and I were just sitting there and we were listening to you.

I had you on speakerphone. And, I mean, honestly, I could have just had you in the background because I just love that sexy voice. So, guys, I'm pumped up to be here. I'm a little tired because I've just been running and busy all day. I had some people from overseas, I'll talk about that here in a second, here with me hanging out, some leaders here at Empower.

Guys, here's what I want to just expand your vision, expand your mind here for a second, is we're in over 140 countries, I think, right now. Let me just throw some statistics at you just so you can understand the capacity of what we're doing here. And then I'm going to tell you why we're doing it because the fact of the matter is, is most people, me included, don't really care about the how and what. It's the why that matters so much. It's the why that people are going to want to get involved with you for.

It's the why that companies have grown from a startup or in a basement to successful and then on to hyper-successful, uber-successful, unbelievably successful is because they had a why behind them. I want to talk about that here in a second, but I want to throw some stats at you just here because if you're new to the call tonight, a lot of times you do. You get on a call, you don't know who you're listening to, you don't know what they've done, you don't know where they've been, what's really going on. You just know that you were invited to a call by somebody and here you are. You're sitting on, you're listening to some guy that's originally from Scotland telling stories and then some guy who gets on Rant and Rave and he's all pumped up.

But what we've done over the last 15 months, what we've done over the last 15 months has actually literally blown me away. You know, when my partner and I, Dave Wood, we started this company, we started it with a specific, a specific intention and that was, you know, that we had actually been out in the home-based business industry, in the direct sales affiliate marketing space and we had worked our ASS off to get results. And any of our families will tell you that. You know, Dave's wife will tell you that, my daughter, my family, everybody will tell you that was with us before that we worked our butts off to get the results that we had accomplished. We were both thoroughly successful.

Dave was tearing it up. I was doing my thing. I was a little bit of a rebel. I had a couple of companies that shut down on me because I wanted it more than the owners wanted it. And we came together from a phone call that Dave originally made to me and some conversations that we had and some ideas from a meeting down in Costa Rica at Dave's house from an event that he was putting on.

This was not an intention to start Empower Network. This was not something that was preplanned and premeditated out. Some ideas, some conversations. Some questions. Some questions that we asked each other like what if we could design something, create something that would actually help the brand-new person get started and make money.

That's how the Empower Network was born. And from that idea, from that conversation to those late-night conversations, you know, the ones that you have from 12 to 3, high-tapping driven, you wake up the next morning buggy-eyed, look like you were up all night but you really only got three hours of sleep because you were up talking to somebody about a dream. And I think, guys, a lot of you have a dream or you had a dream on this call tonight and some of you have lost the ability or the memory, what it was really like. You found out what it was like to dream. And I'm going to tell you something that if that's you, I can tell you that I can relate.

But when I really got into this industry, when I really got into this profession, it taught me how to dream again. I'm going to talk about that a little bit as well on this call tonight. It showed me how to use my skills. That's what it taught me. I'm going to tell you a little bit about that.

I, for a long time, didn't know what to do with it. They were unorganized. They were discombobulated. They had all of these skills but they were kind of, they needed to be polished like a diamond. Well, Dave and I, from talking from those late-night conversations, from really digging deep and asking ourselves what our why was, the idea, the clear vision, the clear vision of what Empower Network was going to be came into our minds, into our eyes.

And most importantly, into our hearts. And we launched this company, guys, with no staff, with no customer service staff. We launched it with no investor money. We launched it with no office. You know, some of those people, they say, oh, that's probably a guy who's in his mom's basement.

Well, we were in a basement. It just wasn't our moms. They actually had our own houses. But we weren't the guys who were sitting in suits in a corporate office with investor-backed money, with a bunch of people in a boardroom who were looking at us to make things happen. They were looking at us to make sure that we made them a return or else they were going to pull out.

See, it wasn't that. I'd been involved with companies like that before. I actually remember being involved with a company that was a skin care product. And I want you to think about this. If any of you have ever seen me before, you know that I'm not this big, burly guy, but I'm, you know, you see me, you would never imagine I'd be running around trying to pitch a skin care deal, right?

But I was. I was pitching a skin care deal. It had purple branding. I'd be going around showing the plan. I was getting ready, getting, setting somebody up to draw some circles and show them how much money they could make.

And they'd ask me what the product was. And I'd say, oh, don't worry about that. You don't need to worry about what the product is. Because I was like, God, you know, I was selling a skin care product. I mean, I wanted to do something a little bit more manly.

I drove an old 1990 Ford F-150. It was, you know, a man's man's truck. I mean, not to mention I had to start it with a screwdriver. But this is where I came from. I say that not for any other reason except so you can identify.

You are somebody who's on the call tonight who's starting from scratch just like I did. But when Dave and I really moved into action with this company, because you know how you sometimes get ready to get ready. And some of you are probably on the call right now. And you're kind of getting ready. You may be thinking about it.

Maybe you're in already. And you know that we've got an event coming up. The last event that we did in Austin had 4,000 people. And you heard about it. You heard it was the most epic event that's ever happened inside of this industry.

You know that breakthroughs were had. You know that people who have come to the event have left the event a different person. You know that transformations happen there. You know that all of the leaders, all the people who are making money inside of Empower go to the event. But you're kind of dipping your toe.

Yeah, well, getting ready to get ready, maybe, if this happens. If, you know, I make a sale this week. And you're kind of setting yourself up for failure. Well, guys, when Dave and I moved in, when Dave and I started this company, we went all in from the very beginning. A lot of you wonder where we come up with that phrase.

Well, we come up with that phrase because it's an easy phrase to say. Because what we do, we do all the way. We wanted to start a company that was for the people, by the people. And we had some specific intentions in mind that we wanted to happen when we started this company. See, there's a lot of people who start companies to make just money for themselves.

And it's kind of like, what's your exit strategy? A lot of people ask company owners. And they can tell you. They know exactly what their exit strategy is. I had a guy ask me what my exit strategy was a couple of months ago.

And I looked at him, and I said, I don't have an exit strategy. He couldn't believe it. He looked at me, and he said, well, are you dumb? Now, by the way, he had a business that was really, really suffocating. And he really couldn't figure out how to make it in today's economy.

But I told him, no, I don't have an exit strategy. I'm not doing this because I need to make money. See, over the course of the last couple of years, I've made more money than I could spend. And, and, because of that, I've gotten around the right people with the right information. And I've been open-minded.

I'm teachable. And I spend 80% of my time in learning mode. And I'm in learning mode the majority of the time. I'm not out there teaching and training and telling and showing and proving everybody what I know. I'm in learning mode because I know that the speed of the pack is determined by the speed of the leader.

So that's just how I operate the majority of the time. Guys, when we started this company, we had a vision, intention, and a dream. We wanted to do one thing. We wanted to create a company that average, regular people could get results. And it's funny that when we launched, we decided to go with a 100% commission compensation plan.

There was a couple of companies that had done similar things but nothing at the level of what we were doing when we launched. And people looked at us like we were crazy. And I said, how are you guys even doing that? I mean, you're stupid. This does not make good business sense.

And we said, guys, again, we don't need you to understand it. We're not asking for your approval. As a matter of fact, I didn't ask you what you thought about it. We had a vision and intention of something that we wanted to do. And by God, we were going to do it regardless of what anybody thought.

And I'm going to tell you something. When we launched, we had an intention of bringing in 2,000 customers the first month. Well, for the specific and simple reason that we wanted to do it, we didn't. For the specific and simple reason of being all in with our vision and with our business, we ended up bringing almost, not 10,000, but almost 10,000 customers in the very first month. And over the course of the next couple of months, even through all of the turmoil, even through all of the craziness that happened, we were shut down by the banks.

We literally ran into all the problems that most startup companies run into, things that I wouldn't even have guessed because I've always built businesses as a marketer in the field. Right? I'm not the guy who goes around starting companies and then is trying to start more companies and start more companies. I'm the guy who comes from the trenches that understands what it's like to build a business in the field, that did the conference calls all day, that's knocked on the doors, that's drove around with the signs on my truck, that's done everything in the trenches, that the average person does trying to build a business. And we endured all of the craziness that I would have never expected when we started the company.

But I'm going to tell you something. Something happened as we started to do another million dollars in sales and pay another million dollars out in commissions. Something happened when we passed 20 and 30 and 40,000 customers. Something happened when we passed over 20 million dollars in commissions. People started paying attention when we just recently passed 100,000 customers.

People started to pay attention when we put 4,000 people in a room in Austin, Texas back in January. People started to pay attention when we crossed over the 40 million dollar in sales mark. People started to realize that having a dream was bigger than any criticism that they could ever throw at us from the sidelines. Because the truth of the matter is, and I'm going to just give this message to you direct tonight on the call, because a lot of you have the potential to break through, but you're listening to all of the nonsense, not only outside but also inside your own head. And that's holding you back.

That's holding you back from accomplishing what you really want to accomplish. Now guys, I want to give you a perspective here and tell you a little bit of what's happened with me over the last year that I've personally been able to do some things that just I talked about for years. I heard people talk about for years. And what I really realized is that most people with the hype that were talking all of the big talk were actually really doing was paying off credit cards and buying themselves a big lifestyle to try to show off to people to prove that they were successful. And the truth of the matter was they were really pitching a dream and living a nightmare.

Guys, for years, for years, I had family members, specifically my mom, my stepdad, and my dad, who never gave up on me. And for a lot of you who don't really know what I did to myself, because I really believe that mindset is a big, big deal. It's a huge part of the equation of success. And a lot of people run around with a victim mentality. They believe things are happening to them.

They believe that people are doing things with them in mind. It's kind of a very self-centered, self-absorbed mentality. And the majority of people that you run into, if you really listen to them talk, and maybe even you listen to how you talk sometimes, you realize that you've got kind of that or they've got that victim mentality. I had that for a long time. I can only talk about it because I can relate to it.

But for a long time in my life, I struggled because of the decisions that I made. I was homeless. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. I ran the streets. I basically burnt bridges.

I jumped from city to city to city because I didn't have enough money to get from state to state. So I would just jump city to city to city. I ended up in St. Petersburg, Florida. And I was at the lowest of the low.

I was at one of the lowest points in my life, probably the lowest ever. And my parents hadn't talked to me. They hadn't talked to me in a long time. They were helping raise my daughter because I wasn't responsible enough to even take care of myself at this time in my life. And my father, who never missed a baseball game, did the best that he could growing up.

A lot of people, they look back, and it's so easy to criticize our parents. And it's so easy to look at them and say, man, they should have done this or they should have done that. And I know how – I know really what it's like to be on both sides of that coin because I'm a father and I've got a 13-year-old daughter. But I had a stepdad that I ran around. And I was just a troubled kid.

I'd run around to my stepdad. I'd tell him I hated him. I'd tell him he wasn't my real father. I left home when I was 14. And this is all before I obviously became homeless and really got deep into my addiction.

And I don't talk about a lot of this stuff in grave, grave detail. I kind of just tell the story of what really happened. But over the course of the last six months, I've been able to step outside of myself. I've been able to accomplish some dreams that I would have never been able to accomplish if it wasn't for getting all in this business. I remember sitting on a construction site, and I was swinging the hammer because when I got clean, I dragged my butt up onto my dad's doorstep.

He hadn't seen me in about a year. And I asked him if he would kind of help me save my life really and let me sleep on his couch. And he did, and I was working on construction sites with him. He was paying me out of his paycheck. And eventually, after two years, now completely grateful to my dad, but I was swinging a hammer on a construction site asking myself, okay, I've gotten this far.

I was about two years clean and sober. I've gotten this far, and I know that there's more in life for me. And of course, I ran into the home-based business industry. And what I've been able to do here, what I've been able to do through that decision and through getting involved in this business and getting all in, has just changed my life. Guys, six months ago – actually, it wasn't six.

The last event was just under three months ago. So this has all happened in the last three months. Five years ago, right when I came in and started living with my dad, my dad went skiing. It was probably four months that I was living with him, and my aunt called him up and said, hey, we've been going skiing up in Colorado for ten years, and I know my dad was doing fairly well back then. And she said, hey, why don't you come up and go skiing with us?

And he was a little bit hesitant because he'd never been skiing before and wasn't making a whole lot of money, so he knew that the vacation was going to cost him the majority of the money that he'd saved up. But he said, yeah, what the hell, I'll go. You only live once. So he went. I remember he came back.

He was so ecstatic. He didn't see somebody come back from doing something that became later their passion, and the first time they did it, you just saw it in their eyes. It's kind of like the first time I saw an orthomarketing presentation, to be honest with you. I ain't never been the same since. I just caught the dream, caught the vibe.

A lady was – a woman was – I'll never forget. She was drawing circles on the board. I just said to myself, I'm going to be rich in this thing. It took me about eight years to get there, but I caught the buzz. My dad caught the skiing buzz.

So he went two years in a row, and then the next two years after that, he was completely broke, busted. My dad is still in the construction business, not an extremely savvy, go-for-the-throat business type deal guy. He's just an old blue-collar guy from Alabama, always been on a construction site, plumber by trade, got into remodeling bathrooms and kitchens and stuff like that. I guess it was now a little less than three months. I just got back from Austin.

Austin, Texas. My dad in conversation because, of course, I'm close with my dad. Eventually, I moved out of his house back when he let me stay with him several years ago and got my own place, got my daughter back. I've told that story several times, but my dad just kind of said in passing to me, he said, damn, Aunt Pam – that's his sister who usually goes skiing. He said, they're going skiing this year, and, man, I really wish that I could go.

I could tell that he was a little bit bummed, number one, obviously, because he loved it, number two, because he couldn't really afford it. That sucks. I don't know if you've ever felt like that before, but there's something going on. I don't care if it's just going out to dinner. I don't care if somebody's going on vacation.

I don't care if you've got friends or family that can afford to do something and you can't. I could see it in his eyes. I walked away that night, didn't say anything to him, went home, told Aaron. We were talking in bed one night. She said, well, why don't you take your dad?

Why don't you just take him skiing? It was kind of the last minute. They were going to leave in about a week. I said to her, I'm busy. I've got all kinds of things going on because my schedule is packed.

It's usually pretty full. She said, I know, but you've got an opportunity to take your dad and do something that he loves to do and spend some quality time, just you and him. Just go. Bailey and I will stay here. That's my daughter.

I said, what the hell? I said, screw it. Let's do it. I called my dad up and I said, Dad, pack your bags. We're going skiing in a couple of days.

Me and my dad, the man who let me come into his house and sleep on his couch, the man who never missed a baseball game, the man who, when I was out, homeless, running around from couch to couch and dope house to dope house when I was 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 years old, who would go out with my mom. My mom would always call home. I would call him. He was a little bit more outspoken and outgoing than my stepfather. They divorced when I was 12.

My mom remarried my dad and then went out there. I remember my dad. I'll never forget. He came to this one place. These two guys were, I think they were selling drugs.

It was just a nasty situation. I was about 14 years old. I'll never forget. They banged on the door. The guy came to the door.

His name was Boxer J. I was in the back room. I can still hear my dad saying, where's my son? I know he's in there. This was the man who literally pretty much put his life on the line looking for me when I was a kid when I was too hard-headed to listen to anybody except myself.

I was able, because of this business, to take my dad on a vacation seven days, six nights in Steamboat, Colorado, just me and him, and spend some of the best quality time that I've ever spent with my dad before. It was a big deal to me. It was a massive evidence in my life that this business works. Sometimes, I know I own the company, but I've also been in the trenches. I've also been the guy who was broke.

I've also been the guy who didn't know if I was going to make it. I've also been the guy who, when I was staring at a buy now button and didn't know if it was the right decision, I took the risk and did it anyways and didn't know if it was going to work out. Look at me. Five years later, I had the opportunity to be able to spend unbelievable time, time that you just can't, this is the kind of time that you just can't replace, that you can't get back, that you can't buy, really, with my dad. Spring break was last weekend with my daughter.

I like to do these vacations to where I take people by themselves sometimes. We do family vacations. But I like to take individuals and spend individual time with people. Well, spring break, I asked my daughter. I said, this was another one of Erin's suggestions.

Now, you guys know who the true brains is behind the operation around here. She said, why don't you take your daughter on a daddy-daughter trip? Now, we did one of these before. The last trip that we took was in Christmas. We went to Disney World or Universal Studios.

It was like we got there. Because, you know, I'm not involved in the everyday rat race. I forgot that it was Christmas break and that everybody was going to be there. And we got there, and it was absolutely packed, but we still had a great time together. So I was really looking forward to doing something else, something cool, not an amusement park.

But I didn't really know what. And I said, honey, where do you want to go for spring break? And she said, I'd like to go to Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C., because, Dad, I want to look at all the monuments. And I'm really interested. I knew she had a fascination with the Holocaust Museum.

So we went up to Washington, D.C., and that was the highlight of her trip. And you guys know, if you've been to Washington, you've heard about it. There's all kinds of museums there. There's all kinds of different things. It's much more than just the government.

It's history. And I'm telling you, I was so inspired there. I stood in the same place that Martin Luther King stood in 1963 and delivered his I Had a Dream speech to 250,000 people, guys. I got to stand there. I got to stand there and experience a piece of history, lots of history, with my daughter, with my 13-year-old daughter, guys.

There was times in my life that I didn't know if I was ever going to be able to be a father to her again because of the places that I was at. Guys, I got to take her. I got to do things that I would have never dreamed that I was able to do with a daughter who blew my absolute mind wanting to go to see museums. But, guys, this is the stuff that you get to do when you get serious. And you get all in.

And you make a decision. This is the things that you get to do when you get all in emotionally and mentally. A lot of people think that we're talking about all in with the products. Guys, you should own the products because it's about education. It's about getting the information you need.

But I'm talking about something that happens when you get all in emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Some of the things that happen in your life. Some of the experiences that you have. The things that you're able to do. Guys, somebody drove into my parents' car, my mom and my stepfather's car.

The guy was drunk one night. And two weeks ago, I didn't even know it happened. I talked to my mom on the phone. And I said, Mom, what's going on? I was just trying to catch up with her.

Mom, what's going on? Oh, everything's fine. Everything's great. Everything's going good, honey. How are you doing?

And I said, I'm great. Everything's good. Good. Let's get together here sometime. I heard some things.

I heard something in her voice. Something wasn't right. She didn't want to tell me. I think that she didn't want to tell me that happened because she hadn't quite really comprehended the magnitude of the new financial burden that this man just caused her. And I said, Mom, what's going on?

This was two weeks ago. I think I was just about to leave for vacation. She said, well, last night, it was either last night or the night before, somebody drove up into my yard, was drunk, and totaled our car. One of the cars. The other damaged it badly, but it wasn't total.

I said, you've got to be kidding me. She said, no. I'm still a little bit kind of shocked and overwhelmed by the whole situation. She said, a guy was drunk. He drove up into our yard and crashed into our car.

I said, really? Because this is the house that I grew up in, folks. I grew up in this house, so I know exactly what the street's like. I know that if you, by chance, would fall asleep at the wheel or you're drunk, it's very easy. You keep going straight.

You go right up into my mom's yard. I know exactly what the street's like. I know that if you, by chance, would fall asleep at the wheel or you're drunk, it's very easy. You keep going straight. You go right up into my mom's yard.

I said, Mom, how'd that happen? And are you okay? I mean, let me know. What's going on? She said, yeah, we're fine.

We just don't know what we're going to do now, what we're going to do next. Yeah, you're right. I am in a situation, too. I'm in a together situation. thousand dollars, and that's going to get us, you know, that will get us a new car, but it's not going to get us what I'm used to driving.

My mom's always liked to drive big cars. I can remember back when I was 12, 13 years old, she had one of these big Econolodge vans, one of the big ones, right? You could seat like 10 people in it. I used to play baseball when I was young, and we'd go and pick the whole team up and go to the field, and just we'd all be partying in the back. She always liked to drive big trucks, big cars, right?

Big vans. I mean, this thing was like a tank, really. So I said, dang, mom, that sucks. I didn't really know what to say at that moment, because I still needed to process it, too. I mean, it was kind of a big scene.

I thank God the guy didn't drive up and hit my mom or drive into the house. So I was talking to Erin once again. Like I said, the real brain's behind the operation, and it is true. Usually behind every good man is an amazing woman. So I was talking to her, and she said, well, what do you think that we could do?

What do you think we could do to help? And we got to talking, and she mentioned helping out with a new car, helping my parents get a new car. And I said, yeah. I said, we could do that. We maybe should do that.

Let's talk about it. Let's think about it. Well, the decision was already made up. I got off the plane from D.C. from taking my daughter on spring break.

My parents actually picked me up, because I let them borrow my Range Rover for the weekend, because they didn't have a second vehicle to drive around. Actually, a first vehicle. One was told. The other was in the shop. And so I let them borrow my Range Rover.

And when I popped off of a plane, I went and hopped in the car and went to a restaurant. And at the end of lunch, I said, hey, guys, I know we're about to go to the dealership, because they were actually going to pick the car up that day. And I said, I want to help you out. First of all, I want to know if it's okay if I can help you out. I always like to ask people if it's okay if I can help, because I don't want to help them.

I don't want to help them. I don't want to help them. And, you know, some people, they're just not ready or willing. And if they're not asking for help, then you certainly don't want to help them, because, you know, the help's just going to go unreceived. But I asked them, is it okay if I help you guys?

And they didn't know what I was saying. They shook their heads around. You know, they've been helping me for years. They were the people that never gave up on me. They believed in me when I didn't believe in myself, no matter how low I went, no matter how much the police officers, judges, and teachers wrote me off and said I was going to be a lifetime loser.

They never gave up. They took care of my daughter and helped me out when I couldn't take care of myself. My mom used to call my mom and say, Mom, I got this bank account, and it's got an overdraft fee. Can you go and deposit $25 in my bank so I don't get an NSF charge? And I asked my parents, can I help you out for once?

And they kind of shook their head around. And I said, guys, this would be a great time to say yes. And they said yes. And I said, I'd like you to tell me what kind of car you're going to get me. I'd like you to tell me how much it's going to cost if you would and how you plan on paying for it.

So they told me. Mom said, man, I went to all these dealerships. I saw this Honda Pilot. I just loved it. It was like a big, big tank, just like I like.

I said, awesome, Mom. I said, how much is it? She told me. I said, how do you plan on paying for it? She said, I plan on financing.

We're going to pay it off in how many ever years it takes you to pay off a car. I don't even know. I've never put a car on a payment plan. I've either bought a $2,000 piece of crap. Or a $1,000 hunk of metal.

Or I've bought my car's cash since I got in this business. So I said, Mom, Terry, that's my stepdad's name. He's the guy who was in Austin with me, by the way. Kind of gray-haired looking guy. This is the man that I ran around as he chased me in the yard.

And I used to tell him that I hated him. Used to tell him that he wasn't my dad. This is the man that, as much as he didn't speak a lot, I can remember him picking me up in the mornings, right? Getting me up in the morning. Getting me out of bed.

Waking me up. And once or twice a week, he'd take me to Dunkin' Donuts. He wouldn't say much as we sat there and we ate donuts before I went to school. But I can remember when I never really said that much to him. I never really said thank you.

I mean, I've said thank you since I got clean and since I've really got my head wrapped around my shoulders now and out of my ass. But I never really said thank you. I never really showed him gratitude. Besides just giving him a hug and saying thank you, which is great. Which is a lot.

It's enough. Some of you are saying, that's enough, Dave. That's enough, Dave. But I really felt like I needed to make amends. Like I needed to say thank you.

Like I needed to show my appreciation to these two people. And I said, I'd like to know if it's okay if I buy this car for you cash so you don't have a payment. And I'm going to tell you something. I looked in this man's eyes, and this man is not emotional. I've never seen him cry.

I've seen him yell a couple of times. I've hardly ever seen him cuss. And his face turned white, and it just kind of shifted colors a little bit. And he kind of scrunched down in his chair, and he started to get emotional and choked up. And he said, Dave, thank you.

He said, I don't know what to say. And I said, Terry, you ain't got to say a damn thing. Let's go get your car. And guys, I'm going to tell you something. Me, I'm not too big on houses and cars.

I'm not too big on jewelry. I don't really care. I've bought a couple of watches. I've bought a couple of watches and necklaces just because I thought it was fun at the time. I don't really care how much money is in my bank account, because the truth of the matter is the majority of my life I ain't had much at all.

I don't really care to look into the future and to try to figure out where I'm going to live or what I'm going to drive or what kind of clothes I'm going to be wearing or if I'm going to have the newest shoes on my feet. But I'm going to tell you what really has made an impact on me and what makes me tick. What makes me tick is to do something nice for somebody who's done something for me and to do something nice for somebody who least expects it. Guys, what I'm telling you here is that the experiences that I've had because of this business, the experiences I've had because of this profession have not just made me rich. They've not just shown me how to take my skills from a ninth grade dropout, from a guy who did drugs the majority of his teenage and young adult life, from a guy that...

society had pretty much rode off, from a guy that came out of drug treatment in 2005 with no future, from a guy who couldn't get a job, from a guy who went in to try to get a job and they'd say, you'll never get a job here, from a guy who the majority of the people looked at and said, he's got a lot of skill and potential, but unfortunately that is a waste of brain power. From a guy who the majority of the people shook their head and said, ain't that sad. I've not... I've not only made more money than I've ever thought that I'd make in my entire life, especially when I was down and out, especially for all the years when I had nothing, especially when not only nobody believed in me, but I didn't believe in myself, but I've learned how to take the skills that I had and turn them into a vehicle that I used to be able to inspire people, tell my story, through only telling my story, folks. Not through being some communication expert, not through being somebody who...

goes in and takes speaking classes, not from being a professional speaker, but just from getting up on stage or on a call or on a webinar and speaking from my heart. And guys, most importantly, what this business has done for me has it's allowed me to say thank you and give my family the life that they really deserve. A lot of us talk about that. We throw the family word around, but I'm going to tell you something, when you get the opportunity to actually do it, there is nothing like it. There's no amount of money that you can make in a week.

There's no house that you can buy yourself. There's no car that you can drive yourself that will replace the feeling of looking in somebody's eyes who you love and doing something for them that changes their life, right? And the ability for me to buy a car has absolutely nothing to do with the actual car. It has everything to do with what that meant. I was talking to Jerry the other day, who's our COO here in Empower Network, and he was over at my house.

We were going through a couple of things, a little meeting. I like to have meetings in weird places with weird people sometimes. And I said, Jerry, I was talking about the why behind what we do. Now, this is really a corporate guy. He's never really been a network marketer, affiliate marketer.

We were talking about why people really get involved with things. And Jerry said, you know, I've got to be honest with you. When I saw this thing, it was a little kooky. It was a little crazy. A couple of homeless, raggedy-looking dudes, I didn't know were legit or not.

They were ranting. They were ranting. He was our HR consultant at first. Come into the office, I'd be walking around with, you know, shorts and tank tops and flip-flops, and Dave Wood would come in town. And everybody would just kind of pass by the conference room and scratch their head and say, well, what are these guys doing here, and who are they?

Jerry said, I got involved with you for the simple reason because I came to one of your events. I looked in the eyes of the people, and I realized that you guys were leaving people better off than you found them. And I was like, well, I don't know. I was all in. I want to go like Tony Rush, and I want to go from bankruptcy and financial frustration and devastation to making six figures a month.

I want to be like Laura Parrish, to where I also struggled with an addiction to alcoholism, have a family, a stay-at-home mom, was getting a little hopeless about my future, never made money online before, never made money online before, never made money in network marketing before, and just had her first five-figure guy's week, not month, week. I want to be like Tracy Walker. I want to be like Nicole Cooper. But I'm telling you something, there's something interesting that drives these people. And guys, when you tap into that, when you tap into the champion and the badass inside of you who's waiting to be released, guys, if, if you can make the decision to get all in and get to the event and get around the people who are going to get you, who are going to give you the information that they need, that they have inside of their mind, that we're willing to give to you, if that's you and you're ready, guys, you know what time it is.

And I'm going to tell you, I have no compunction about it, get your ass to Chicago. Tickets are almost sold out. There's some of you on the call tonight who are dipping your toe, right? You're just kind of on the fence. I'm going to tell you something, that the next stream of big-time leaders, the people who are making money, the people who are making an impact, are going to be the people who are there, at the event, seeing it with their own eyes, transforming, getting pushed over the fence, kind of like the gentleman who I'm about to bring out.

Now, I think this is cool and interesting because the last time I had this guy out was about three months before the last event. He had come in, he'd done about $700,000 in, I think, three weeks or something. Ridiculous numbers, right? And I got him on the phone. And first and foremost, I thought it was funny because I said, was talking about actually sponsoring, recruiting, people selling products in the trenches.

And he said, Dave, wait, you mean you guys are actually selling products as company owners just like we are out in the field? I thought that was funny because I don't think he was really clear about that we actually did that. And the second thing I asked him was, will you be at the event and why do you think people should go? And I'm going to tell you something, Vic had never even been to an event before, not an Empower Network event anyways. But for some odd reason, he believed what we were telling him and he got to the event.

He smelted in the air and he believed because he saw from the stories that he heard the transformations happened there. And he knew if not only he was there, but also he brought people to the event, then his team was going to explode. His income was going to double. And he was most likely, and I don't know if he knew this because I'm not going to tell his story, I'll let him tell him, but if he got to that event, he was quite possibly going to see something that was going to make him buy in and get all in all the way. Not just with the products.

This man, just like all of the leaders here, all in with the products, right? They own all of the products. They go through the products. Why? Because for one, I just think that if you're going out there, and this is my philosophy, it's not an opinion of anybody except David Sharp, and this is just me.

I don't want to get into rules or the comp plan or anything like that. I'm just saying that if I'm driving a Chevy and he's selling a Ford, I've got a problem. And I personally feel bad going out there saying, you should buy this when I don't even know what's in it. And there's a lot of people out there who do that. Guys, the products will change your life.

If you follow the eight core steps on a daily basis, you will realize the transformation that you did not think was possible. And I guarantee that. And if you don't see that or experience that, then you can come and find me at the event and say, Dave, I didn't transform into a new person after 90 years. I didn't have 20 days to listen to audio and follow the eight core steps. But if you do, friends, if you do what we tell you to do, and it's not that hard, I think you'll find this refreshing for some of you who are a little bit brand new.

When you get into the back office, if you're brand new and haven't signed up yet, and you look at our eight core steps, you are going to be blown away by the simplicity of them. It's unbelievable. People come in and they're looking for the secret. They expect to be overwhelmed with technical mumbo jumbo. And somebody to ask them to jump through, a bunch of hoops.

And they go back there and we're telling them simple stuff like read on a daily basis, listen in to audio on a daily basis, get all in, upsell your members, get on the empower hour call every Monday, get to all of the events. And they're like, you have got to be kidding me. And we're like, no, look around. The people who are following them are experiencing results. The people who are not are struggling.

Well, guys, here's what I can tell you about Vic. Okay? Is that Vic understands the power of simplicity. Right? I've seen it because now we've worked together for a little while.

We've had conversations. I've seen him producing results. And right now he's the number one income earner inside of Empower for a specific reason. Number one, he understands the power of simplicity. Number two, he understands the power of following a system.

Right? He doesn't have to go out there and recreate the wheel. Right? He understands that we've got something here that works. So he's willing to plug into it because number one, it works.

Number two, we've got a dream that's bigger than just the what and how. It's about the why. There's something bigger here. There's a bigger vision here. There's something that we're doing that means more than just making money.

And that's a big deal to some people, not everybody. There's some people who just want to go and make a quick buck and move on to the next thing. Not Vic, not us, not our leaders. Right? So what I want to do is I want to bring Vic out here for a second.

Vic, you're welcome to talk about whatever you want, brother. But what I want to really ask, and first of all, let me know if you're on the call, bro. I'm here, Dave. Can you hear me? I can hear you loud and clear, man.

I can hear you. Great to have you on the call, by the way. Awesome. No problem, man. I'm glad to be here.

So here's what I just want to kind of drop in your head, okay? If I didn't edify this guy enough, guys, I don't particularly think I need to. I think he's done well over a million dollars in commissions. Now, big, fat, ridiculous, and obvious income disclosure. We actually state all of the averages on our site.

You can go and see the income disclaimers. This is not a guarantee of incoming results. They're absolutely not typical, but neither is Vic. Did over a million dollars, I think, in the first 60 or 90 days. I'm not sure you can tell your story.

I won't tell it for you. But came in here, won the contest, our last contest, in I think about six days. But here's what I thought was most impressive about you, brother, was when I met you, of course, whenever you meet somebody for the first time, you have no idea what to expect, and that's why first impressions often are super important. This guy wasn't talking about that. He was talking about the vision, talking about the dream, talking about how he wanted to help people.

It fit in line with our values and belief systems here, and I was like, okay, this guy's badass. He's in. He's cool, right? So here's what I want to know, okay? And you can talk about whatever you want, brother, but I've just been sitting here telling stories about what I've been able to accomplish, not financially, but doing things for my family and cool stuff like that.

I want to know, man, what you really thought when you were talking about the event last time and what you actually saw, and what you expect in Chicago, man. With that being said, brother, I appreciate you. You're a rock star, dude. I turn it over to you. Man, dude, Dave, I can just sit here and listen to you all day, man, seriously.

Just hearing you talk about that story, how you bought your parents a vehicle, and just your why, man. I mean, that's... You know, people talk about... Some people are so focused, and I was like that in the beginning, too. A lot of times, when you're talking about the event, I get so focused and tunnel-visioned on just making a buck, just what do I need to do to give me some tactics, give me a traffic strategy, give me something that will...

Right? But what you're talking about, man, is you're not talking about money. I think that's more important than anything. I mean, what attracted me to you is it's something that you couldn't... I'll just tell you like it is, Dave, man.

I'm just going to shoot you straight, man. It wasn't necessarily the compensation plan, although that's the best thing I've ever seen in my online career. But it wasn't that. It wasn't... I mean, the product was awesome, but what really attracted me was something that I...

It's actually hard to explain. It's something that was... It was the invisible, the untouchable, something you can't taste, see, smell, or touch. I mean, it's why... I think it's your why.

I think it's what you guys wanted to do and really what you were doing and where your heart was at when you started the company. I told you guys on previous calls I've been here, it took me about 10 months to make a decision to join Empower Network and... And the reason for that is because I was watching what you guys were doing and I wanted to, you know, make sure... Because I've seen companies come and go all the time, you know, the next big, you know, the next hottest thing is launching every single day. You know, and when we see, I mean, there's...

I mean, heck, even right now, I mean, there's companies popping up, Dave, copying Empower Network, you know? And what they're doing is they're trying to bash Empower Network for, you know, whatever crazy, you know, you know, reasons that's not even... It's just silly, you know? But what they're doing is they're trying to copy what you guys have... built here.

But when I look at that kind of stuff, it makes me laugh because, you know, I mean, I see that kind of stuff come and go. And so what you guys are doing is what Steve Jobs was doing with Apple. You guys are creating. You guys are not competing. You guys are creating and you're creating from, you know, from your why, right?

You're creating not because... Not because... I haven't heard... I haven't heard you or Dave Wood talk about how much money you guys wanted to earn with the company, how much money, you know, how big you wanted to make this company. You know, but what I was hearing you guys say over and over and over again was that, hey, this is my vision.

This is what I want to do. This is what we want to do. This is what we're going to do. We're going to have, you know, 100,000 people in this deal. I remember, you know, sitting at my computer just watching you guys, you know, doing a little bit of a research on Empower Network.

And you guys were going through some issues, you know, with merchant accounts being shut down and other people didn't believe in what you were doing and stuff like that, right? And, you know, and I got... You know, I got some people that were behind me and so, you know, before I could attach my name to something, I wanted to make sure that it's going to last, right? Something I could be confident. But one thing I don't do, Dave, is I don't promote anything.

I don't do anything. Anything that I'm not 1,000% into myself. You know, like if I'm... If I can't look into my, you know, potential customers in the eye and tell them with conviction that, you know, listen, you got to get this because it will help you. It will change your life.

It will take you from point A to point B where you want to go. If I don't have that, I don't promote it. I will never... I will never touch it. You know, that's why, you know, I wasn't, you know...

I mean, I... I want to protect my people, right? So... But anyway, so... You guys were going through those issues and all I had...

All I, you know, kept hearing Dave talk about, Dave Wood, is, you know, hey, we're going to have this thing. We're going to have 100,000 people in this deal. And yet you guys are going through the issue that you guys were going through in the beginning in the growth process, right? And look what... Look at, you know, where we are right now, you know, like on Power Network.

It's over 100,000 people. Same... Same... Exactly what they said. Exactly what you guys said manifested, right?

And how did this happen? How did it go from just an idea to... Right? To... To manifestation of that idea?

And I think, you know, the way I see it and from hearing and talking to you guys, I think this is just, you know, in Power Network, I don't think you guys are even crawling yet. I mean, I think it's, you know, it's still a baby, you know, compared to where it's going to be. But it all starts out with vision. So guys, I mean, I know there's a lot of people probably listening on this call and... And, you know, and they're thinking, Vic, what's the...

You know, what's the deal? You know, what do we need to do? How do we make the money here? And I want... You know, I was kind of thinking and then kind of putting myself back, you know, when I was getting started.

And I had all those thoughts coming through my head. You know, what I remember clearly, like right now, like it was yesterday, you know, when I first got started and I was, you know, I was starting this Google AdWords campaign with a company that I got invested $7,000 to get in. And I did not have the money because I actually had to borrow $30,000 from a friend of mine who borrowed from his bank. But I was so fired up. I was so sure this thing was going to work because of, you know, I kept seeing all these, you know, claims and income claims and success stories and this and that.

And I just got so fired up. So anyway, I convinced my friend to loan me $30,000. I invested $7,000, got into this business opportunity. No income at all coming in. Wife wasn't working.

I wasn't, you know, I wasn't working. And one thing I want you guys to, as I'm going to tell you, I'm actually going to give you some things that I think is going to be important. You know, some things that I personally focus and some things that I, as I look back right now, these things help me tremendously in my business. And these are the same things that I teach my people and anybody who starts out with me. I mean, guys who came to me and they were, you know, at zero.

A lot of them were, you know, even in debt. I teach them the same, I talk about the same stuff which I'm going to share with you guys in a moment here. But, you know, when I got started, I burned my bridges. And I think a lot of people, I think a lot of people don't succeed in this game is because, number one, they probably don't know why they want to do this thing. You know, Dave, you talk about your why.

I think, you know, before we, you know, before we talk about money or, you know, specific techniques or whatever, all this marketing stuff, that's important. Of course, it's important. But I think before anybody, you know, is going to talk about that stuff, I think you guys, you know, everybody needs to, everybody listening to my voice tonight, you guys need to figure out exactly what your why is. Like, what is your why? Why do you want to do this thing?

And really, don't just say, well, I just want to make money. Why do you want to do this? Really, it's something that I, you know, until I figure that out for myself, listen, if you're going to, when you figure out your why, your true, your real why, why are you doing this? Right? Why?

And it's not, and it can't be to make money, folks. It cannot be to make money because money is just paper. It's just paper. It's nothing. You know, if it's here today, it can be gone tomorrow, it can be turned into something else the next day.

Right? It's just paper. It's nothing. But your why is something deeper. And I think it's, you know, I don't think a lot of people actually go deep enough into figuring out what their real why is.

You know? And so, my why was, listen, I did not want my wife to work. You know, I got married when I was 20 years old. And before we got married, I actually came to her place of work. And she was working, you know, a pretty difficult job.

You know, she was working on a production line and dirty hands and stuff like that. But I didn't, I knew she was working on a production line, but I didn't, you know, she was my girlfriend back at the time. But I, you know, I was visiting her once and I really, and I saw what she was actually doing and I said, baby, when we get married, you're not going to work. You know, you're not going to work anymore. And so, that was my, man, that thing just drove me.

It just, it was like, you know, I needed to do whatever I needed to do to make sure that my wife doesn't have to work and I could provide for my family. I mean, I wanted to, I wanted to make sure that my family can be well taken care of and I wanted to make sure that, you know, if we have or when we have kids, that my kids wouldn't have to worry about, you know, not having, you know, not having enough. You know, I mean, I, that was my why. I mean, that was something that just drove me in the beginning, you know. And, and so for me, I got so clear, clear on that.

I mean, I got so emotionally attached to that thing that working for somebody, right, was not even an option. It was not, I was not even, I could not even consider that idea of actually working for somebody for the rest of my life because I knew that, you know, we couldn't, we couldn't do it, you know, if I had to work for somebody else. So, for me, there was, there was no, there was no, there was no plan B, you know. And, and, and picture this, folks. Really just think about this as I'm, as I'm going to tell you how I was, how I was, how I got to, you know, actually, you know, how did I get myself out of that hole?

So, imagine this. Got no income coming in at all. Zero. Okay. No government assistance, nothing.

Zero. Okay. You got bills coming in the mail, right? And, and I get so fired up. I mean, I got, I got my why in place, right?

I know what, what I want. I know why I want it. You know, I come across, joined this business opportunity, but I borrowed $30,000 from a friend of mine, but I'm so fired up. I mean, I'm, I'm sure it's going to work, right? I was so sure it's going to work.

First 60, first 60 days, first two months, I go like crazy. So, I got this $30,000 laying in the bank, right? I, I go like crazy, man. I'm starting to post, you know, and then do all kinds of ads. I'm, I'm running all kinds of, you know, promotions and doing Google, pay-per-click and, and, and you name it.

You know, I'm just, I'm just blowing through money, man, and I'm just expecting a miracle to happen, right? And 60 days later, $20,000 is gone. $20,000 gone. And, return on my investment exactly zero. Exactly zero dollars.

Now guys, I want to ask you something. What would you do in that situation? You know, like, seriously, seriously, what would you do? We need to put the, you know, some food on the table and that kind of stuff. So, we would have $10,000 in a separate account to live off of.

And here I am, blew through $20,000 of it and got $10,000, actually less than $10,000 by this time and I'm, I'm facing a decision. What do I do? Okay, you got to pay the money back in three months. What do you do? And so, do I go back to work?

Do I, do I go back and then try to find, you know, a steady, quote unquote, steady job, right? In that case, you will, you know, and it's going to take you forever to pay that loan off, right? What do you do? What would you guys do in that situation? You know, but, but man, my why, I kept, I kept going back to my why.

I kept going back to why I wanted this thing. I kept going back and I was, I was playing this, this lifestyle that I would provide for myself, for my family. I would play this, this picture over and over, this movie that I created in my mind, in my head, right? And folks, that thing, that why, kept me going. That why kept me from not going to and, and starting and looking for another job, right?

And so, what I ended up doing is I ended up hiring or actually found myself, thank God, I found myself a guy who was actually living the kind of lifestyle I wanted to live and I, and I wanted to learn from him but he said, you know, dude, it's going to cost you like $500 an hour to work with me and, and to do some private coaching. I said, no problem and if you can just show me what do I need to do, I will do whatever you say. If you, if you tell me to stand on one foot and, and then, you know, and make phone calls or stand on one foot and post that, I'm going to do that, man. I was, I was, I was, there was no plan B, guys. There was absolutely no plan B.

I think a lot of people failing is simply because they have a plan B. Okay? I think, I think a lot of you guys right now are listening to me and I don't know your, your situation. I'm just, you know, I'm obviously, I'm preaching to the choir here but I think a lot of people failing in this business and in life simply because they have a plan B. Okay?

I did not have plan B. I did not, I did not, it was not even, it was not even, you know, considered. I mean, I did not even have anything to even consider when it comes to plan B. I wanted to make money, make money here. I wanted to provide the lifestyle for my family.

I wanted to work when I, when I want. I wanted to go to, to work, you know, wherever I want. You know, I wanted to work when I'm traveling. I wanted to, to live the, the internet marketer's lifestyle. Okay?

And what this guy started to teach me is this. He did not, he did not teach me about, he did not teach me about, you know, marketing strategies. He did a little bit later. But in the beginning, he was like, dude, you got to get your mind straight. You got to get yourself around people who are making it.

You got to, you got to inundate your mind with success stories. You got to believe that what you are doing, that what you set out to do is going to happen. You got to, he got me, he got me into that frame of mind because I think, here's the deal, guys. Okay? So, so think about this.

Tony Robbins said this and, I'm sure a lot of you guys know who he is. He says, look, if you, if you're looking for a sunset heading east, right, you can have the right intention, you can have the right tools, you can be, you know, you can be in the fastest car there is, right? But if you're heading, if you're trying, if you're looking for a sunset heading east, you will never see it. Okay? What, what a lot of us are doing is we're trying to, we're looking for the sunset heading east.

Okay? And, and we're, and we're trying, we're grinding, right? We're grinding, we're doing the work. We're working, you know, 60 hours a week. We're working 16 hour days and we're trying to figure this thing out.

We're trying to blog every single day, right? We're, we're doing, we're doing stuff. We're doing stuff. But why is it not happening for us? Well, maybe because we're heading, we're heading in a totally different direction.

So how do you change that, right? How do you change that? Jim Rohn says, you know, Jim Rohn talks about, you know, setting your, setting your sail, you know, we, we, we, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta have, I think it might, so here's the deal, okay? I'm, I'm just, I'm, you know, I can go off and I can talk about this stuff all night because this is like, you know, this is the stuff I'm passionate about because this is the kind of stuff that changed my life around and, and this is the, this is the kind of stuff I can talk about, you know, you wake me up at, you know, two in the morning and I can go off like, you know, all fired up and stuff. So here's the deal, folks.

If you want to write some things down, I want to give you something to focus on and just really think about because I think, I think this will change your guys' business. I think this will change not only your business but it's going to change your life, okay? So tonight, right after this call or tonight, you know, go someplace quiet and just maybe talk with your wife, with your, with your husband, with your significant other, with your family members, right? Talk about why do you really want to do this, right? Why?

Why do you want to do this? And, and just really get yourself emotionally attached to something that can, that can carry you through, that can push you through the obstacles that's inevitably going to come, right? Because we all come through, we all have to go through obstacles in life, right? They're going to come, folks, you know, it's going to happen, right? Some, some are going to be bigger than others but there's going to be obstacles, there's going to be some things happen, there's going to be, you know, life is going to happen, right?

So you got to figure out what your real why is, what's going to, what's going to push you through all that stuff and what's going to pull you when they go and get stuff, okay? So get that because you can always come back to that and build yourself a picture, build yourself a vision, right? Create yourself a vision for your life, for what you want to accomplish. Not necessarily, you know, we're going to talk about this, you know, don't focus on the money, okay? Focus on something bigger than the money.

Focus on something that's just, that's more powerful than money, okay? So figure out your why. Next thing is, I think you got to have just burn your bridges, man. You know, Dave? Burn your bridges.

No. Treat this business as if you did not have plan B, period, okay? Guys, I want you guys to understand every single one of you on this call tonight, every single one of you. I don't care if you're 50,000 and dead right now. It doesn't matter, okay?

It doesn't matter if you just had your house with, you know, foreclosed on last week, okay? It doesn't matter if you just got fired from your job that you have been working on for the last 20 years. Folks, it doesn't matter what your current situation is. I want you to believe that what you got your hands, what you have yourself here, what you got your hands on here is the most powerful thing you can ever find on the internet right now, period, okay? I can say this, I can, you know, if you were standing right here next to me, I would look you in the eye and I would tell you what I'm telling you right now.

You will not find a more grounded company like Empower Network anywhere on the internet Why? Because I know what's out there. I researched and let me tell you why I say this. I say this not because of the, you know, the compensation plan or the products even though that stuff is not much, okay? I say this because of double D's, of Dave Sharp and Dave Wood.

Folks, it's hard to find a company with, where leaders have a vision not for themselves, okay? Even though that's important and they do have that. But more importantly, for their people. For us, for me, for you, for your team, for your team's team, okay? A vision for this company.

All I hear Dave talk about is, you know, where we're going to go, right? Where we're going to go. What's going to happen next year? What's coming up in Chicago? Okay, what happens in Chicago?

By the way, if you're not, if you didn't purchase your tickets right now to Chicago and you're on this call, I mean, what's wrong with you? Why? Is that 140 or 150 bucks? I mean, it's an investment in your future is what it is. You're investing in your future.

You're not, you're not investing in Dave and Dave. You're investing in yourself, man. Gotta go, right? Gotta go. Don't, don't even think about not going.

You gotta be there. Okay, I'm going to talk about that a little bit later on. But, you know, treat this as if, as if you did not have plan B. So that's thing number two, okay? And, thing number, thing number three, folks, thing number three is, you gotta have crystal clear goals.

Okay, I always say this, you know, having, having something, having something that you can look in, look at, write it down, write, like I, I, you know, carry my goals on my, on my iPhone. I know exactly what I want. I know exactly, not just, you know, how much money you want to make, although that's, that's cool, you know, write it down. But, you know, if you want to get something, if you, if something that's, again, that's more powerful than money, you know, if you guys want to, you know, go on a, on a, on a vacation that you have been dreaming about for, you know, half of your life, you know, you got to put something in front of your eyes on a daily basis that's going to motivate you, right? When you wake up in the morning, a lot of people wake up in the morning and they don't, they're like, well, they, they're, they're, they're going through, through life aimlessly.

They don't know what's going to happen to them, you know, this afternoon. You know what I mean? They, they don't know what they're going to do when they get home from the J-O-B, you know. They just flip on the TV and then they just watch other people get rich, right? You know, so you got to, you got to put yourself, or set yourself some crystal clear goals.

I'm not talking about some vague stuff, guys. You got to be clear. If you don't, if you can't, if you can't see it, it doesn't exist. Okay? If you can't see it, it doesn't exist.

If you need to go to, you know, to the store and get yourself a, you know, a board or something and just to cut out pictures and all the stuff that you want to, you want to get, let me tell you, I didn't believe in this kind of stuff, right? And again, it has nothing to do with, with marketing or strategies, guys, but it's got everything to do with it. Guys, it's got everything to do with, with you being successful in this business. Okay? Because you can have the latest marketing strategy and if you don't know exactly what you, where you want to be at, if you don't know exactly why you're doing this, if you don't know that kind of stuff, if you don't have something tangible, something that you are crystal clear on, that you're shooting for, right?

You will never have it. It's like playing basketball with no hoops. Okay? And you can, you can, you can, you can jump, you can run around, you can do stuff, you can be busy all day long. Yeah?

But you will never be satisfied. If you, if you can't see, it doesn't exist. Okay? Very, very important. So, set yourself some crystal clear goals.

Thing number four is, man, this is important. It's your environment. And again, I say, I talk about this stuff. It's your environment. You know, people who you listen to, people who you hang out with, people that, you know, that influence you, right?

And then, you know, some of us, we, we, we need to cut out some of our friends. You know, if somebody's going to bring you down, man, just don't spend as much time with them. You know, you got to be, you got to be brutal about that stuff. Guys, like in my, in my life, in my life, just, not just business, but in my personal life, I don't tolerate negativity, period. That's it.

Somebody's going to be negative, I, I don't, I don't, I don't have them around me, period. It doesn't happen. Okay? And, you know, so, I mean, that, that, that goes for, you know, complaining and whining and, you know, something, if you try something, it doesn't work. And, and, and the easiest thing to do is just blame somebody.

That's the easiest thing to do, right? If you say, well, it doesn't work because this thing is saturated, man. It doesn't work because, you know, they're, they, they, they didn't give me the latest strategy. Well, it doesn't work because it's got something to do with you, maybe, right? So, folks, it doesn't matter what's going on in your life, just make it, make yourself a commitment, okay, to never, ever, ever, never complain, never, about anything, okay?

Never. Because nothing changes, nothing, I mean, you, you won't change it anyways, right, if you complain. But you can do something about it without complaining, and change it, okay? But when you complain, man, you're just shooting yourself, it's like, you're just like, you're cutting yourself, man, when you, that's it. So, environment, folks, and when we talk about environment, it's, you know, it's being around, try, deliberately seek to be around with people who are, you know, who have what you want to have, who live how you want to live, right?

People who, you know, people who talk like you want to talk, people who drive the cars you want to drive, people who live places you want to live, you know what I mean? People who, who travel places you want to travel. You just get yourself around those people. You say, Vic, I can't. How can I find somebody like that, right?

Well, how about reading? How about listening to the calls? How about watching, you know, videos, right? That kind of stuff. That can be your environment, because whatever you put in your head is what's going to show in your results, okay?

If, if, if, if, you know, if you didn't get anything out of, out of tonight, you know, out of my speech, I don't know, you know, I got in a little bit later because I, we're at church, but, if you didn't get anything from what I'm, what I'm telling you right now, listen, it's going to be this. Whatever is going on, whatever goes into your ear and your eyes, right? Whatever goes into, into your head, okay, is what's going to show in your results. And, and, and, and most people don't understand that. Most people don't, don't think about it like that, right?

Most people, you know, just give me the latest strategy. But your environment, folks, is what is this, is the stuff you read, right? The stuff you listen to, right? People you, you, you spend most time with, right? And so you don't have to, you don't have to, to, to know somebody who is, you know, ultra successful, ultra rich, and hang out with them, because a lot of times you can't even get to them, right?

But you can, you can read about them, you can, you can listen to them, you can get on these calls, on these conference calls, you can listen to the man, the founders of the company, the guys who fucking created this thing. You know what I'm saying? I mean, how better, you know, it just doesn't get any better, right? I mean, Dave, Dave Sharp, man, brother, you're on here, you know, almost every single week on these calls, and you don't have to be here, right? And the reason, I think the reason you're doing this is because you care about people, and that's incredible, you know?

So, yeah, I mean, surrounding yourself, when you guys go to events, when you guys get to Chicago, right, get around Dave and Dave, get around your leaders, get around people who are your upline, get around people who, you know, who have, you know, vested interest in your success, and, you know, and pin them to the corner and talk to them, ask them questions, right? And, and try to, try, you know, listen for the golden nuggets, listen for the stuff that you can pick up. One or two things, one or two ideas can change everything you do, okay? One or two ideas. So, your environment is super, super important, folks.

Deliberately cut out all the crap out of your life, and deliberately seek out good, positive information that's going to help you get to the next level, okay? So, that's, that's really important. And then, only then, folks, once you have this stuff taken care of, once you have set yourself, you know what you want, you know you have your why, right? You are surrounding yourself with the right people, you're reading and listening to the right things. Guys, now, it's time for you to take massive action.

Most people do the, do this thing, you know, totally different, right? Flipped, upside down. Most people do stuff, you know, the polar opposite, right? Most people take massive action, not knowing where they want to go, not knowing what they want, having no idea whether it's going to work or not, right? Having no idea.

They just, they just go in blindly. They have no idea. But they're taking massive action. They're grinding, grinding, grinding, and it's not working for them. And they say, what's up?

And then they go to a different company, and same thing happens over again, and over again. They get deeper and deeper into that. Oh, that's a recipe to failure, you know? So, but once you have those, once you have those four things I talked about up until this point, once you have that crystal clear, and you have that in front of you, right? Guys, now it's time for you to take massive action, because now you're going to take massive action.

Now you have your, you know, now you're heading west, looking for the sunset. You know what I'm saying? I mean, it's a good metaphor to use, because, you know, now you're going in the right direction, and now you need the right tools, right? And now you need to have the right vehicle, and the right system, which is, you know, power network is, in my opinion, is the most powerful vehicle there is on the internet, you know? It's incredible.

So, now you take massive action, and what kind of massive action you take? Well, you look at what your leaders do, right? The guy who brought in, who, you know, invites you, invited you to this call. The, you know, the lady that sponsors you into the program, right? You take a look at what, you know, Dave and Dave is teaching.

You take a look, you go to events, and you pick up good nuggets, right? You pick up ideas, and you talk to people, and you see what's working, right? And you implement. You take massive action. You get, you know, you do the eight, you know, the eight core steps.

You take massive action, folks, but now you're going to take massive action, and you're going to be certain that what you're doing is actually going to manifest, right? If you don't, if you're not convinced, that what you're doing is actually going to happen for you, and it's actually going to work for you, you're going to take, you know, you're not going to be, you will not have that, that personal power. You will not have that, you know, that, that certainty. You know what I mean? I don't know if Dave finally found my consensus here, but it's something, it's going to be difficult to explain unless you actually, if something clicks in your head, and all of a sudden, you see that, you know, something happened, and all of a sudden, you say, no more, right?

No more failing. You know exactly, what you need to do. You can, you know, you have, you're confident, that you can actually create pretty much anything you envision, anything you desire. You can have anything you want in this life, and I want you guys to really take this to heart, okay? Everybody listening to my voice tonight, you guys, everybody, you guys can have anything you want.

You guys can have anything you want, if you want it bad enough, okay? There is not one single thing, there is not one single thing that I wanted, that I really, really wanted, and I don't have. Not a single thing in my life, okay? Everything I, everything I ever wanted, and, and, you know, if, if I, when I, when I decide to get something, and I want it, it always happens, always happens, okay? And folks, I don't care what your situation is right now.

It doesn't matter. I'm, I'm, maybe I should be careful with saying I don't care. Guys, I care about you. I care about my people. I care about my team, right?

I care about, you know, I, I care about you guys, right? That's why I'm on this call. I care about, you know, giving you guys value, and, and helping out, and, and, you know, and, and hopefully inspiring you so you can go out, and you can build your team in 2000, right? And taking power network, network from being 100,000 numbers to a million members over the next 12 to 18 months. You know what I'm saying?

And I think together we can do this, folks. Together, nothing is going to be impossible for us, right, if we stay united, and that's what Dave and Day is talking about, is staying united, which is really, really important, right? Having the same vision, same, having the, you know, the same thing. When it comes to, you know, your goals and what you want to accomplish and stuff like that in the industry, and it's not, you know, it's not so much, you know, I always say this, that, you know, money, just thinking about money is shallow thinking, right? You guys can make money selling, you know, stuff on eBay.

You can, you can sell clothes on eBay, right? And you can make some money. You can, I mean, there's people, you know, selling crap on eBay, right? There's, there's people selling, you know, junk on, on, on ClickBank, right? And all these affiliate marketers, where, where people, you know, once good marketers are now can't even attach their names to their products.

Man, that's how bad this, this thing got, right? Because people are just pumping out products left and right multiple times a day. And there's like six launches going on, you know, today in this industry, six launches in this industry. And, and, you know, six of those products are just pure garbage, pure garbage guys. And this, see, this is another thing that fires me up.

And this is what we want to change in this industry is because, man, this is crazy. It, it's absolutely ridiculous, right? People will do anything. They will sell anything. They will tell you anything to, to just get your 30 bucks or 20 bucks or 50 bucks, right?

So you can, you can make money being that person, right? Or you can, or you can get your vision aligned with the, with the empower network vision and, and, and, and lock arms like Dave Booth is saying, right? Lock arms and just do this thing. Okay. And you guys can do anything you can imagine.

Okay. Now that's, you know, just take a massive action. Another thing I wanted to kind of give you guys something that I think is really, really important. And again, I'm not, everything that I'm saying, folks, and, and this is like, if you would ask, you know, if you would tell me, Vic, what would you do? You know, I mean, knowing that, you know, going, going through the stuff I had to go through in my life and in business and, you know, and, and, and helping and teaching others, you know, how to go from basically nothing to, to earning crazy amounts of money.

I mean, more money than most people, earn a year. You know, these guys are doing in a week or a month, you know, just, just unimaginable to some people, right? I always talk about this kind of stuff because this is the kind of stuff that will make your business run so much easier. Okay. So, thing number six is you got to attend events.

Okay. I, I'm going to be big on this, guys. And, and, and my team here, you know, I, I just tell people, I don't ask them where they want to go. So, if you, if you, you know, if you're on this call tonight, if you haven't purchased a ticket, guys, just, just do it. Okay.

Just do it for yourself, for your business, for your family, for your loved ones, for your future. Okay. Just go. Because you're going to come out different person. And it's not, you know, there's no voodoo.

Okay. Like, I, I, you know, the first event within Power Network I went to was the last one. Because I was actually, I just got in with, you know, you know, I got to the event. I got to Austin. And I was, I, you know, I got to spend some time with them.

I got to spend some time and I got to see what this, this, this thing is all about. Right. And folks, let me tell you, if you, if you ain't going to Chicago, you're going to be missing out. Okay. You've got to go.

You've got to get to the event. Okay. Get to Chicago, guys. Get to Chicago. Attending events is really important because, you know, it's going to, it's going to give you that burst.

You know, it's going to give you that momentum. Right. You can create momentum by just doing massive things. Right. And just doing long enough and create momentum.

Or you can just go to an event. Right. You, and just, you know, charge yourself up and come out with a momentum that's like a hundred times bigger than, than, you know, the guy who didn't go to an event. Right. And it's just so much easier.

But if you go to an event and, and empower, you guys are doing this, you guys are, you know, doing these events every 90 days. So it's, it's, it's from event to event. You're building that momentum from event to event, from event to event. So that's part of the reason why, you know, going to events or attending events is one of the core steps. Right.

One of the core steps in the company is going to events because Dave and Dave, they understand the importance of going to events. Okay. So, listen, you know, I, I don't, I don't have to go to events. Right. I mean, I've, and I'm doing okay.

You know, I'm doing okay financially. I got what I want. Right. I don't have to worry about stuff anymore. Right.

I'm going to do something special because I have a company. Right. I'm going to do something special because I have a company. Right. I'm going to do something special, not because I got the magical abilities, but because I'm, I, I had, I did what I'm telling you guys to do right now.

Okay. I still do this kind of stuff on a daily basis for myself. Still do it today. Okay. But then you get to the point where you don't have to do this kind of stuff.

You don't have to go to events. You don't have to work. Okay. You can literally, you know, you get to the point where, where you feel like, listen, if I just quit and I don't do a single thing, I can live comfortable for, I can live comfortably for, you know, probably 20, 30 years without worrying about a single thing. Just travel the world, live on the beaches of the world, and just enjoy life, right?

But the reason I'm going to events is because my vision is bigger. My vision is I want to make a difference in this industry. I want to play a small part in taking Empower Network to a million numbers, okay? I want to do what I can from my side to help my team. I want to do what I can from my side to help my team's team, right, to build leaders in the company.

I want to do what I can. And you know what? I cannot do that having the same mentality I have right now, okay? You cannot take your business to the next level doing what you're doing in your business right now. And it's going to be difficult for you to change if you don't go to events, okay?

Because when you go to events, you start seeing things a little bit differently, okay? You're getting ideas going. You're getting some things that just, you know, just change the way you think about it. You're getting those epiphany moments, right? So, yeah, going to events is really important.

And, folks, number seven, I'm going to leave you with this. You've got to forget about money, okay? Forget about money, man. Forget about money. You say, Vic, you're crazy, man.

I got an Empower to make money. And you're telling me to forget about money. Yes, I'm telling you to forget about money, okay? Start focusing on making a difference, guys. Start focusing on doing something bigger than money.

Start focusing on helping your family. Start focusing on doing something cool for your father, for your mother, for your son, for your daughter, for your loved ones, for your friends, right? Start focusing on how can you help your team become successful. Start focusing on, hey, how can I, what do I need to do today that would help my family have a better life? Guys, that's the kind of stuff that's going to drive you, that's going to pull you, okay?

Don't focus on making money. Money is going to come. Money is a byproduct of what you do, okay? So if you do it with the right intention, folks, money is going to come. You will never, ever.

You don't have to worry about money, okay? Again, Dave, I mean, brother, I went from, I mean, I can talk about this stuff, and I can talk about this with, you know, a certain degree of power, and I can just be straight up with people sometimes, right, or most of the time, or all the time, I should say. That's how I am. Because I know what it's like to be, you know, in the hole. I know what it's like to not know what's going to happen tomorrow, right, how you're going to pay off your bills, and how you're going to, you know, how you're going to dig yourself out, you know, just really.

I know what it's like to be in a position where you owe $30,000, and you just blew through 20 of it in the last 60 days, and you have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow. I've been there, so nobody's going to tell me, Vic, you don't understand my situation, man. They just took away my food stamps yesterday. You know what I'm saying? You know, I don't buy into that stuff because I've been there, right?

And I can tell you with conviction right now that what, you know, this is the kind of stuff that helped me get, you know, break through in business. And right now, you know, when people talk to me, they say, Vic, you got so lucky, man. You got so lucky you got into this lifestyle. Well, dude, you didn't see what I had to go through, right? And so, guys, what I'm telling you is this, okay?

I'm going to leave you with this. Folks, you have, you've got your hands on the best vehicle that you can possibly find on the Internet, okay? Over the last, just to give you a perspective, people say this thing is saturated. Man, baloney, okay, BS. This thing hasn't even started yet, okay?

This is going to be a billion-dollar-a-year company. And if you don't get your stuff right, right now, you're going to miss out. You're going to miss the boat, okay? You got your hands on the most powerful thing that's out there, okay? You've got to get serious about it.

You've got to treat it as if there was no plan B. Get clear on your why, okay? Take massive action. Get to an event and follow the eight core steps. Read, listen, okay?

Do the stuff you've got to do and get to an event that, man, that's just like maybe it's just coming up in the next couple, couple weeks, just be there, okay? If you're not there, you're not 100% serious. You know, you're not, I don't think, you know, that you're 100% serious. I mean, if you're not at the event, if you're not, you know, willing to invest in your business, my opinion, again, you know, this is my opinion, but I think, you know, you're not 100% into it, right? And so I burned my bridges.

You know, I said whatever, you know, I went to, I go to events right now, folks. Right? Right? Constantly learning, constantly implementing and seeing what's out there. And I'm going to tell you something, what you guys do at your events gets me more results in my business than anything else.

In the last, what is it, about 90 days or so, just over 90 days, folks, I started out just like everybody, just like, just like you with Empower Network, right, and generated almost, you know, almost $1.3 million. In about 90 days, you say, Vic, you're lucky. No, because I did the stuff that I'm telling you right now, right? And so you can do that same too. You know, am I, am I, am I promising you're going to make a million bucks in the next 90 days?

I can't make that promise, right? But listen, it doesn't mean that it's impossible, right? It doesn't mean that it's impossible, but how bad do you want it? If you want it bad enough, man, you got to, you got to just do it. Do it and you, and you will get there, right?

Get there. Get there. Go to events, folks. Get to events. Get, get, you know, just get pumped up about what you're doing.

Get pumped up, pumped up about your vision, about your life, about your goals. and, and just watch things happen. Just, just, you know, when you get your, those four things, hopefully you took some notes. I'm not going to repeat myself, but set yourself right. Take massive action and just watch magic happen.

Dave, I don't know if you're here, man, or if I'm just talking to myself here. Oh, dude, I'm totally here, bro. I'm, I'm actually sitting here pacing kind of around my house, just getting pumped. My dog was just looking at me. I was like, I was a crazy man.

Yeah. I mean, Dave, you're, you just, just meant, you know, see, this is, this is the kind of stuff, you know, what, what motivates me, brother, is, is hearing your story, you know, is hearing what, what you're able to do for your, for your parents. And you know what? I'm listening to you. I'm like, man, this is awesome.

You know? And, and so it wouldn't be awesome, Dave, if, if, you know, think about it, if, if people with Empower Network, right? If they, if they got to your level of success, if they got to my level of success, and, and is that not possible? Totally possible. If they're willing to do what's necessary.

Yeah, bro. I mean, it's, it's, it's not only is it, it's, it's not that it's just possible. it's actually probable that if somebody follows the system, the way that we've set it up, that, that, that they can succeed. here's the problem. Is it the majority of the people don't follow the system the way that it's set up?

It's why every lawyer who goes to law school does not come out and become a lawyer. It's why every doc, person who goes to medical school doesn't come out to be a doctor. It's why every person, and I can tell you this from personal experience, who tries to go and make it to the medical school, doesn't come out to be a doctor. and the major leagues in baseball doesn't make it, right? it's because it's possible, right?

It's possible to do it, but for me, and I can just give you a little bit of a metaphor from personal experience, everything was lined up for me to play major league baseball. Everything, right? I was seventh grade, eighth grade, 12, 13 years old, being scouted by, high schools and colleges, and what did I decide to do in ninth grade? I decided. I decided to start skipping school, smoking pot.

I started hanging out with the, the wrong people. Am I condoning smoking pot? Absolutely. It was the dumbest thing I ever did, right? But it was the smartest thing I ever did because I learned the lesson that the opportunity is there.

It depends on what decisions I want to make and what system or road that I want to travel. There's always options, and I think, Vic, that's the most important thing, brother, is that everybody's got options, and I think that's what makes it so powerful. when I realized that I had an option, I wasn't a victim of circumstance. I wasn't a victim of my family. I wasn't a victim of where I came from.

Knowing you, and let me just tell you this story, real quick, Vic, before you hop off here. We're going to end the call here in a second, guys, but I mean, it's just, just, just too good to end right now. I had a couple that was over, that, that flew over to the United States here. Vic, they, they got started, I don't know, nine, 12 months ago, something like that. They've been involved for a long time.

they, these were the type of people, and everybody's got somebody on their team. Like, they, usually we've got several, they just hammer you. It's just like every time you open Skype, there they are. Every time you open your email box, there they are. They get a hold of your phone number, there they are.

every time you turn around, they're, they're there, right? They're hitting you up, asking you questions, right, in front of your face. So, I mean, I was like, who are those people, right? I mean, they, they didn't speak English. That was a big issue.

They didn't speak English. they, spoke, Russian. And, .. At first, they weren't killing it. They weren't crushing it.

And I've always had to protect my time. Vic was talking about, protecting his time. It's something that, you know, I, I'm, it's probably the most important thing in my life is, who and what I spend my time doing. not who I spend my time doing, but, that sounded funny. sometimes after 10.30, I start to get a little bit delirious and say ridiculous things.

Actually, all day I say ridiculous things. But, so... All of a sudden, six months pass. Seven months pass. I see them just slowly, slowly, slowly making more, doing more.

Their team's growing, right? All of a sudden, I, I start paying a little bit more attention because I realize and I see that they're willing to do whatever it takes. Now, I want to tell you something, guys. I want to, all of you on the call, I want to tell you what these guys did. Okay.

And they probably did some things that, you know, probably eventually they're going to have to stop doing. I have no idea. I mean, there's people. There's people literally doing things all over the world. I want you to think about this.

I, I met a guy when I was over in Singapore, Vic, who, his name, I believe, is Brian who had Crohn's disease, okay? he literally had to drink milk, Vic. He had to drink milk. he would have to go out with his friends, and this kid was 12 and 13 years old. he actually signed up in his father's name.

but he was so determined. His father really had very little knowledge about the Internet. But he would go out with his friends. And while they pigged out, he would sit there and drink milk. But he found, Empower Network online, and he was building a business with his father.

He had made some tens of thousands of dollars. So the Russians here, they don't speak English. They can't understand anything that we're saying on the calls, anything that we're saying in the video courses. They literally have to have somebody translate it. Okay.

I want you to think about this. I want you to think about compared to what we do, what you do, what I do. I know what I do. I know where I've been to build a business. And I'm going to tell you something that wasn't this.

They would get the content transcribed into Russian. They had a translator who would sit on the calls, who would watch the videos, and who would translate into Russian. And then she would read it. And then she would speak it and record it. And share it with her team.

This is not a guarantee of income. $60,000, right? Not the average income, guys. I just, just, you know, somebody's, somebody's on the call who's, you know, wondering if that, those results are average or typical. They're nowhere near average or typical.

But I'm going to tell you something. Neither. Are those people. And I looked them in the eye today as they came over. They had their two sons with them.

And they had flown over. Taking a $20,000 vacation, Vic. A $20,000 vacation, my brother. And they sat there and they told me. Before we went out to lunch, we had reservations, private room, wanted to take them out and have a nice lunch.

And they sat there and they looked me in the eye and they said, Dave, I know you hear a lot of these kind of stories. I know you hear them from all kinds of people from all over. You're probably sick and tired of hearing them right now. And they told me that they were bankrupt two years ago. Bankrupt two years ago.

And that this business has changed their life. Guys, I want to read something from How to Win Friends and Influence People. Because the interesting thing is that I read every day. It's fascinating. I listen to audio every day.

It's interesting. I go to all the events. Isn't it fascinating that I market on a daily basis? Right? Isn't it fascinating that I just want to do this?

Isn't it fascinating that I just want to do this? Isn't it fascinating that I market on a daily basis? Isn't it fascinating that I market on a daily basis? I was on the phone today and doing things even though I had a full day marketing, coming up with ways to get higher conversions, right? Because Dave and I actually have a team ourselves inside of Empower Network, do the same thing that everybody else does.

I want to read you this sentence. And, Vic, tell me what you think about this, brother, because when I hear you speak, I hear Tony Robbins. I hear Bob Proctor. I hear Brian Tracy. I hear all these guys and these gals probably that you've listened to over the course of the entire time.

The entire career that you've had. And when I listen to you, I know that this is not Vic popped out of his mother's womb and was just this walking, talking, inspirational guru. I know that from simply listening to you, seeing you, watching the way that you communicate, and talking to you, of course, I know what you've been through. I know the work that you've put in. You've probably, probably put in the 10,000 hours that many gurus think that you have to put in something in order to master it.

I can tell by listening to you talk. But this is a little paragraph that's from How to Win Friends and Influence People. I'm actually popping back through. I highly recommend that to anybody who's on the phone. If you tell me how you get your feeling of importance, I'll tell you what you are.

That determines your character. That is the most significant thing about you. Let me say that one more time. If you tell me how you get your feeling of importance, I'll tell you what you are. That determines your character.

That is the most significant thing about you. Let me tell you something. When that woman looked me in my eyes, and Vic, you know what I'm talking about here with this one, brother. When that woman looked me in my eyes, her name's Ludmilla, with her husband Alex, and just done whatever they've had to do to make it work. When she looked me in my eyes and she said, I know you hear these stories all the time.

Do you know what I told her after she got done telling me her story? I said, I never get sick. I never get sick of hearing them. And I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something.

That, my brother, that is why I'm here, and I know that's why you're here. And I'm going to tell you something, Vic. I appreciate you, brother. I'm looking forward to helping more people than even what we think we're going to help right now. I'm looking forward to the next person who pops up in your team or the next leader that's on this call that's going to have a breakout room at our next event with 200 or 300 people.

I'm looking forward to the next person who's going to make their first sale. I'm looking forward to the next person who's going to listen to one of our audios in the inner circle and who something's going to just click for them. And they're going to realize that it is time to burn Plan B. Because I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to be honest with you.

I think that's the biggest load of bull crap. Also, I completely agree that anybody could ever tell somebody is, what's your Plan B? And you were on the call. A lot of you don't know. And, Vic, I don't know if it's cool to share this or not, but I didn't know this about Vic.

He plays the piano. He was playing the piano tonight at church, which I thought was kind of cool because I asked you if you wanted to be on the call, and you said, I've got to play the piano. But, you know, it's fascinating. It's just fascinating because, I don't know, I'm just overwhelmed. I'm overwhelmed.

I just got overwhelmed, man, with just sitting here thinking about all this. I don't even know where I'm going. I don't know where I'm going with this, but I just, you know, I'm just grateful, man. I'm just grateful. I'm grateful for what we've done.

I'm grateful for where we're going. I'm grateful for the people that we've got involved here. And I'm going to tell you something. There's no ego here, guys. There's no ego.

There's no, I don't care. I don't need to be the face of anything. It doesn't matter to me. We want to build a company that's here long after we're gone. We wouldn't have paid out 100% commissions.

We wouldn't be doing what we're doing. We wouldn't be behind the scenes hustling like we're hustling. We wouldn't be hustling, building a company. And I want to tell you something also. And I know I'm going on here a bit, but I just, you know, I want to, I just, people on the call tonight, they deserve to know, right, what's really going on.

It's not Dave and I. And a lot of people, they walk around and rant and rave. They say, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave this, Dave that. It's not Dave and I. I'm going to tell you something.

Dave Wood's a genius, right? Just an unbelievable guy. I'm just a homeless guy who, you know, just, worked my ass off and somehow I landed in a good spot because I got around some good people, right? But I'm going to tell you something. The leaders here, the people that we've attracted, the people who have stuck with us through thick and thin, the turmoil that we went through together, and now just the emotional, the mental buy-in, the commitment that the leadership has here to want to grow something, for the people, is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

And I'm going to tell you something. There'll never be anything like it again, right? They just won't. It's why we're all in here. Vic, you didn't, I was talking about this at the beginning of the call.

I had a guy, and I don't know if you heard it. I had a guy, I think this is where I was going here a second ago. I had a guy ask me, what was my exit strategy? I took my dad on a vacation about two and a half months ago, and I was sitting in a hot tub with a guy up in Steamboat, Colorado. And he said, Dave, what's your exit strategy?

And I looked at him, and I said, I don't have one. And I didn't say it like that. I said, I don't have one. And he looked at me, and he said, what do you mean you don't have one? Now, this guy owns a restaurant.

His business sucks right now. He's suffocating. He's probably barely paying the bills. He's looking at me, and he's asking me, Vic, and this just really started to hit me tonight. And then I said it, and you said the same thing with the Plan B thing.

He said, Dave, what do you mean you don't have an exit plan? I said, I don't have an exit plan, man. I've all lived through it. I'm all in with what I'm doing, right? I'm all in with what I'm doing.

Nothing else matters except this and my family. Nothing else matters, right? And he looked at me, and I could just tell he was just a little bit, he was just a little confused. I could see the look in his eyes. That's what the deal is, though.

The bottom line is that it's all or nothing. There's no dip in my toe. I'm not halfway in. I don't have one foot in this company and one foot in another company. I'm an ADD serial entrepreneur who's not going to be able to do anything.

I'm not going to be able to do anything. I'm just all in on one thing, right? Because we've got a group of people here who are counting on us, man. That's what I love about you, brother. And with that being said, man, I appreciate you, man.

If you've got any final thoughts, go ahead. But I just wanted to say I appreciate you, man. I'm looking forward to seeing you on stage in Chicago. Dude, don't stop, brother. Just keep going, brother.

It's awesome, man. It's awesome, Dave. I can hear you between your, you know, without saying it really, you know, even though you said it perfectly clear, you know, I can hear you a lot clearer that what you're doing is it motivates you, man. It just drives you and you don't have an extra strategy because you don't treat this as, you know, something that you could just, you know, build and then make a billion dollars next, you know, couple years or whatever and just move on to something else. Because it's, you know, what you're here to do is you're here to make a difference in the world, man.

And you guys are doing it awesome, brother. I appreciate you, Dave. I appreciate your partner, Dave Wood. And what you guys are doing, continue to just continue to do what you guys are doing, man, with your intentions and what you guys are set out to do, man. It's going to happen.

It's going to happen. And there's no question about it. No question about it. And so I think a lot of people are going to change, you know, their life with Empower Network. I mean, a lot of them are doing it right now every single day.

So it's going to get better. Excited about Chicago, brother. Look forward to meeting you guys again and hanging out with you all. And seeing 5,000 or 6,000 people, you know, however many people we're going to have in there, I don't know. But it's going to be massive.

So, yeah, look forward to seeing everybody in Chicago. Cool, man. I appreciate you guys. That's great. Guys, I just, you know, a lot of calls.

You know, I'm amped up. I'm pumped up. I'm excited. I'm yelling. I'm screaming.

I'm shouting. The truth of the matter is, there's really nothing left to say except I'll see you guys in Chicago. I love you.
