Practicality dictates that everyone's results will vary as we are all unique and different. Basically, it takes hard work to make a substantial income in this business, and some people will make no money at all. The earnings of an Empower Network affiliate will be 100% dependent upon their skills, work effort, commitment, leadership capabilities, and market conditions. Common sense would suggest that in most opportunities, one would find exceptional individuals performing well above average, while others perform under the average. Empower Network does not guarantee any level of income or your success.

I'm extremely excited we have a guest on the show today that I'm really excited to be able to get to know and talk to.
A few quick things to keep in mind here. Let's make sure all distractions are blocked out. Tune out all background noises. Let's make sure that a TV or radio is off. Turn off, you know, the cell phones.
Close the door. You really want to have full attention on this interview today. There's a lot that's going to be covered. You're going to hear some really cool concepts and ideas from somebody who's really making it happen inside the Empower Network. So make sure to close out Skype.
Don't forget, close out your email account as well. If you're at a computer, you might want to open up a Word document or something to take notes. If that's you. If that's your preferential way of taking notes or, you know, pull out the old notebook. If that's the better way for you, you're definitely going to get some gold nuggets today.
And if you're driving, listen to this after you've downloaded it. Then maybe just, you know, let your foot off the gas a little bit. Listen intently rather than trying to pass the car in front of you, probably during rush hour traffic. And just relax and take all this in. My special guest today, John Moroz.
He came from a background as a DJ in the music industry, believe it or not. And, you know, from that, he eventually has moved into Internet marketing, found that the music industry wasn't as profitable and lucrative for him as he went through his career. Still does it, you know, as part-time and loves it and enjoys it. But now he has a full-time income in Internet marketing and network marketing where he's had a lot of success. A few quick stats for you guys to understand about John.
20 days within the Empower Network. This guy definitely knows what he's doing and here to tell his story and give all of his secrets, maybe not all of them, but almost all of them away today, my friend John Moroz. John, how are you? Great, great. Thanks for having me on here.
And there goes my dog in the background. So, John, you know, let's just jump right into this. You know, you've had quite a bit of success and you've been in the industry for a while. So, you know, we can definitely benefit from, you know, the concepts and philosophies and things that, you know, you do in this industry to be able to generate that type of an income. And so just, if you don't mind, tell me how you found the industry and, you know, the industry of Internet marketing and network marketing and, you know, what kind of your evolution all the way until.
Power Network and, you know, how it brought you there. Yeah, sure. Thanks again for having me on, man. It's really a pleasure to be on here. And I think my dog likes it, too.
So, but yeah, absolutely. You know, starting out with my story. I mean, it's, you know, just like you were saying that, you know, I came from the music industry. I was actually pretty successful in the music industry. It did take me a little while to get there.
But, you know, I, you know, started out as, you know, doing a light tech and then I moved on to DJing. And then, you know, as I progressed through the industry, I started getting into marketing and promotions. And I handled a lot of the traditional sense of advertising, you know, advertising on radio and billboards and, you know, flyers and booking, you know, concerts and, you know, big headliners, TV stars and all that kind of stuff. Moved on from, you know, doing electronic music, which was my forte, I guess you could call it, which is, you know, pretty profitable back in the good old days. But then moved into some more mainstream stuff as I got older in the industry.
And it did great there for a while, you know, and even when I left the industry, I was still there. I was still doing decent, but at the same time, I was always thinking to myself, is this something that I see myself doing when I'm 45 to 50 years old? And it just didn't seem like it was something that was going to stick around. So I kind of got the word out there to my friends. Luckily, I had a lot of contacts in the industry and I just knew a lot of people just from being in the industry for a while.
And, you know, let some people know that I'm looking for something, you know, that I could, you know, do externally for an additional income stream. And funny enough, one of my friends approached me and he said, you know, hey, there's this. A marketing opportunity where you can sell products on the Internet and, you know, if you do it right, we could be earning like ten thousand dollars a month. And I was like, well, this is this is great. I mean, it's too good to be true, you know, so I was like, all right, let's, you know, what do we got to do?
So, you know, the guy actually ended up taking me to a house party where they had, you know, 20 people in the room and a presentation on the wall. And they explain this little chart where, you know, this person gets this person and if they get two people than this, you know, and it was the first time ever hearing about the industry. And I was just blown away. I mean. The whole concept was everything that I, you know, just as soon as I heard this, I was like, oh, man, we're going to kill it.
We're going to make a million bucks. You know, so, you know, at the time, though, I just didn't see myself, you know, doing home meetings and presentations and, you know, inviting people to my house and, you know, strangers and all that kind of stuff. So at the end of the presentation, I mean, everybody in the room raised their hand, said, hey, I want to join. So I think I was the only person who didn't raise my hand just because I saw the I saw the potential in the industry. I just didn't see the potential.
I just didn't see the potential that way. So that's when I went home and did my own research online. And, you know, I came across a bunch of people. And at the time, it was everything kind of looked a little schemey. You know, it didn't it didn't look right.
But at the same time, being in marketing, you know, most of my life, I felt that, you know, I could figure this out, you know. So I jumped headfirst into a program at the time. I think it cost me around a thousand dollars to get started. And after about a month of being into it, I realized that I had no clue what I was doing. It was.
It was nothing like marketing in the traditional sense. You know, marketing your business online is completely different. And at the same time, I never wanted to go after the friends and family thing. I never to this day still have not talked to friends and family about, you know, joining an opportunity. Funny story.
And I'll get into that a little bit later is now how the tables have turned. But, you know, at the time, you know, I struggled my butt off. You know, I bought tons of stuff out there that never worked. I mean, I bought leads. You know, look for every single program that could make me rich overnight, every single piece of software, you name it.
You know, I tried it and I failed at everything. Six months went by. Still didn't make a penny online. And then I finally got connected to the right people. I came across people like David Wood, Jonathan Budd and Mike Dillard and these type of people.
And I actually really invested in myself. That's when I started, you know, buying up training courses and products that, you know, from the right people. Again, I spent. Probably get $10,000 on the wrong stuff, the junk out there that you probably shouldn't be wasting your money on. But, you know, really invested in myself in the right type of training, getting connected with people like David Wood and really listening to his philosophy philosophies and how he goes about his marketing, really providing value back into the industry and, you know, doing marketing the right way.
And ever, ever since then, after meeting people like this and implementing these strategies in my business, I think it went from zero dollars. For six months. And it just continued to grow and grow. So as I always tell everybody, I mean, there's definitely some struggles that you're going to face, especially if you're first getting started in the industry. But it just comes down to really setting goals, going after them and taking consistent action no matter what, you know, always if I could recommend anything to anybody, it's, you know, try to produce at least one piece of content per day.
Whether that's. A blog post or a video or an article or whatever it might be a, a pay-per-click ad, whatever, just do, do at least one thing a day. So turn off your emails, turn off your phone, set the goals the night before, do that first. And then, you know, afterwards you can get back to all the emails or whatever it might be that, you know, that can slow your business down, but then also help you at the same time. So that's some, some powerful things that I live by.
And that's, what's been able to create huge results. My business, you know, from, from the get-go and at the same time, they'll be there for a lifetime, being able to advertise your business online. Once you produce this, these, this content, it's there forever. So now having a system like Empower Network, where you can create content, where you can, you know, get creative with what you're, what you want to get out there and provide value back to people. Before Empower Network, you had to install WordPress blogs or, or create these videos and, you know, articles and all this other.
Kind of stuff, which can still help you on Empower Network, but now you have a platform that you can really, you know, brand yourself, get yourself out there, drive content to it. And then let people like David Wood and David Sharp take over for you and do all the selling, telling and explaining for you. It's, you know, it's, it's never been done before in the industry and it's extremely powerful stuff. So, you know, that's my story in short. All right.
Okay. So now you said that, and I, and I have to apologize a little bit before because. I, you know, it's like, I heard what you had said when we were talking a little bit before the interview and, you know, I almost made it sound like you weren't successful, you know, in the, in the music industry. And, and I definitely, you know, misstated that. It didn't mean to do that because, you know, you even told me you were touring with, you know, Paul Oakenfold and a few of these major DJs where you've had a lot of success.
Yep. Absolutely. It was a lot of fun, but yeah, at the same time, I just didn't see, didn't see it in my old age. Definitely. That's what it was.
Okay. And so up to, up to now, you've, you've sponsored over 4,000 people into your primary company. Right. And then my business opportunities. Absolutely.
So, and we're just, just getting started with Empower Network. Amazing. You know, I was, I was having a conversation with Dave and he had told me about you and he says, Chris, man, you got to meet this guy, man. And he's, it's like, he's, it's so funny because, you know, he's, he's got a lot of, he's a lot like you. He's a DJ.
And I was like, really? Okay. All right. You know? And then I said, so he probably understands what it's like.
What's it like being that guy then? And Dave kind of looks at me, cockeyed and goes, what do you mean that guy? And I was like, well, you know, you, you know, you're kind of like that guy that, you know, everybody knows is in this deal. And, you know, here comes Dave and, you know, here comes, you know, here's my latest business. And, you know, you need to get in this thing, you know, and everybody who knows Dave knows that's okay, you know, and, and so, and he's not like that now, you know, this is, this was years back when we were struggling through the industry, trying to figure this thing out, you know, and all.
And, and so I said to him, you know, I said, so, so he, he just does it all online. He says, yeah, you know. It's funny. Most of his friends, you know, family, they all don't even know. He doesn't even tell them, you know, they ask him what he's doing.
He's kind of really nonchalant about it and, and just really does it on the internet where he can make a lot of money and leverage himself. And, you know, he has like these two separate lives, you know, like, and I said, well, Dave, that can be kind of normal. And Dave goes, I don't understand that, you know, because Dave is just all about internet marketing and marketing. This is life. And he's, he's on it, you know, all the time and he loves it.
Now there's nothing wrong with that. But it was just funny to see that dichotomy of one lifestyle versus another. Where. You know, someone like yourself, like, you know, how many times is the DJ going to walk off stage from his turntables and go pitch somebody about their company? You know, and, and, and so a lot of people have these circles of influences and, and these other lives where they wouldn't normally mix their, you know, network marketing or a lot of their, their products that they sell or distribute or anything like that.
And, you know, just to see that someone who's, who successfully does that is really cool, you know, to be able to do that. And, and was that true? You know, he. He said, you know, people just ask me, he goes, oh, you know, I just do some internet stuff, you know, and that's kind of, so what was the response? I'm actually curious.
What, what's the response there when people ask you what you do? Yeah, it's, it's actually kind of funny. Dave actually, when he bought his, you know, $20,000 video equipment, whatever, records on all the time. He actually shipped that up to my house here in Florida because of the customs, whatever it is to get it through Costa Rica can be a pain from what he says. So Dave actually spent the weekend with me, I don't know, five months ago or something like that.
And he flew up and, you know, I. Had a gig, I think it was on a Sunday, a Sunday gig out, out at the beach where I, you know, I still DJ for fun part time. I used to DJ like five times a week. So now it's, you know, maybe once a month and still do the, the festivals and stuff like that. It's, you know, just fun now rather than a job.
Nice. but yeah, Dave came in town. So, you know, we went out and I had the DJ out on the beach and, you know, I know a lot of people in the, in the music industry and I think I probably introduced them to 200 people that night, you know? And, he, he said. So do any of these people know what you, what you do online?
I said, nah, you know, it's really not my thing just to kind of go out there and talk about this kind of stuff. I would rather, get my business in front of people who are actively searching for me or actively, you know, online marketing. And, you know, there's different type of mindsets. There's people that feel that, you know, they should be, you know, working for, somebody their whole life, get good benefits, all this other kind of stuff, work at work, a job and nothing against that. It's, it's completely fine.
That's how. Some people believe, and I don't think that you can change this people's mind, even if you tried, you know? and then there's other people like you and I, and Dave that have the entrepreneurial mindset and just know that if you apply yourself now and work a little bit harder, in the future, I mean, you own your own empire, you know? And this is, this is what I see the difference between those two people. So I would never go out and, you know, pitch my friends, on a business opportunity, you know, that had been working their whole life for in a corporate America job, you know, it's, it's just, I don't see that.
that they would get the whole thing, you know what I mean? Absolutely. Yeah. but you know, funny thing, like I was saying how the tables have turned, you know, a lot of people, you know, since I've started this industry have seen my successes, you know, I just built a brand new house here in Florida and, and, and then now they're coming up and what are you doing? Yeah.
So, and a lot of them, you know, actually started Googling my name and, and, you know, figuring it out. And it's, it's funny. I actually have a, one of my DJ friends from Boston, I actually just joined a power network. you know, it's, so again, the tables have turned and I've never pitched my opportunity to anybody, you know, so it's, it's a lot of fun. Absolutely.
It can't be done friends. It can be done. That's pretty amazing. That's really cool. You know, that's really, really awesome.
So, now let's, let's go a little bit into, why you think most people, fail online doing internet marketing, you know, as a general overall rule. Yeah, I really think it comes down. I mean, I talk to people every day about this, you know, and I asked them what they've done and, have they had success? And I think it really just comes down to people are looking for the shorter route, you know, they're trying to look for what's going to get me leads today. What's going to get me sales today.
What's the shortest route I can do to get it. And that's, that's great. That's exactly what I was doing when I first got started. And I spent a lot of money and wasted a lot of time doing that. I think it really comes down to investing in yourself.
Yeah. And becoming a more value, once you can, become of more value to others, once you learn more about, about, about internet marketing, you know, how, how to market the proper way online, you know, how to give back to the industry and stuff like that. You, you start to attract more people rather than, you know, propel them away, you know? Yeah. I think that it's, that's what it really comes down to, in my opinion.
I'm sure that there's, there's other opinions out there, but, you know. I, I just say, you know, invest in yourself and really, really learn about the industry, the right ways to do, do marketing online. Absolutely. And the real attraction marketing, you know, that's, something that, you know, when you see, it's constant when I'm looking around at, at different, you know, marketers and, and I see the same things going on there. And, and, and there's, there's a sign there.
I think that's important to point out, you know, you see a lot of people that will verbatim use the same catch phrases and, taglines and, you know, attraction marketing master attraction, marketing mentor, and you go. And read their articles and you know, that they're, you know, they haven't had much experience of what they're doing, you know, and there's nothing, you know, they're trying, you know, they're doing their best, you know? And, and the, and the issue is, is that, unfortunately a lot of people will step into realms and try to teach and be something they're not too soon before they've, like you said, invested in themselves and, and understood. Now, now that's a careful, that's a careful thing to say, because I once said this to Dave and he said, but careful now, because these, you'll stifle those people and they won't do anything and they'll just sit in learning mode all the time. And so, you know, and.
Yeah. And what I've noticed and found from Dave is that he'll just go take action. They'll just go do something and screw it up and then, and then correct it and keep going and keep tweaking it and correcting until he's got something that's working. And so I think that's a good dichotomy there. You know, I've seen that all too often as well as yet people really do want to invest in themselves and they really do want to learn, but then they don't want to take action until they've consumed it all.
Well, I'll tell you, it's never going to end. The training will never end. And so you just take action. As soon as you learn one thing, just take action on that. Actually apply it.
Sure. You're going to mess up. Absolutely. You know, I messed up an infinite amount of times and I'm sure you have as well in your, in your learning phase, but more than anything, it's, you know, taking action and just getting something out there. And then, you know, you learn a little bit more and you can either fix it or just move on.
But at least you tried and, and that's, that's what gets you there. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. That makes complete sense.
You know, it's, it's funny that if we had tried to get everything perfect before we started, you know, empower network would still not be launched. You know, I mean, we, we know we've, we've dealt with a lot of bugs that have been, had to be worked out, but, you know, we, we put a deadline on it and we wanted to get it going. And, and I mean, look at the lives we've changed already, you know, the details can be worked out, but oh my goodness, you know, but just the, the income that has been created has been amazing. It's just incredible. Yeah.
So, so let's get into, you know, real quickly. you know, a lot of people, as I've noticed until they become very well-rounded marketers, which I'm assuming, you know, which after listening to your story, you very much are in that category. What, what direction did you go? I often find people either go one of two routes and correct me if I'm wrong. the social media free traffic generation route, and sometimes that involves SEO, indirectly or directly.
Sure. And then you have others that do. Mostly paid advertising and ads and banners and solo ads and co-op group buys, and they're spending money on their advertising and which, which way did you, you know, I, I'm assuming that you've done most of this, if not all of those different aspects in, in, in, in entirety, which, which way did you start? Which, where are you now? Or do you do both?
What's effective for you? Sure. Yeah. When I, first got started, one of the first courses I took was a pay-per-click course, and this is back in the good old Google days when you didn't get slapped. Like.
When you didn't get slapped on your first ad and, yeah, I made a lot of money from that. That was probably the first, real good course that I took. So yeah, you know, I, invested myself, learned a lot about, paid advertising and did extremely well with that for a while there. you know, I, I put up my own course on that and everything. It did it incredibly well.
It was generating up to, you know, 200 leads a day sometimes then, and then the Google slap came along. Luckily at the same time, I was learning about, search engine optimization. so a lot of, a lot of my success has probably come from that, being able to reach the first pages of Google for a specific niche blogs that I would put up. and that's consistent traffic. I mean, that's a hundred percent free traffic is, you know, that'll be there for a lifetime.
so once I've done the work and usually I can reach, you know, a pretty competitive keyword in about three weeks, to the first page of Google, usually within the top three, in about a three week time period. And then. You can literally, you know, sit back and watch the income come in as long as, you understand conversion as well. So it's, you know, traffic and conversion, and then, or you can either, you know, expand your business and look at something else as well. And that's another thing real quick.
I want to get into that traffic and conversion. I always talk about this with my teammates. It's such an important, there's two pieces of the puzzle without both, you know, it's not going to work, with empower network. You're really lucky here because you've got the conversion already. In place, you know, traffic, you know, whether it be paid advertising or free advertising, traffic is really actually easy to get once you know how to do it, you know?
and once you get it, you can, you can drive endless amounts of traffic, to your empower network, sites. but the hardest thing is most people can either get one or the other. They can get the conversion down. They make really good videos. They're great at making presentations and doing sales and all that kind of stuff, but they don't know how to drive traffic.
So that equals zero sales. you know, if you got the, traffic down, but you don't have the conversion, so, so you get the traffic to your site, but you don't have the videos in place. You don't have the, the copywriting in place, whatever it might be, then that's still equals zero sales with empower network. All you have to do is just get the traffic there. So it's, you don't have to worry about the conversion because you've got the best guys in the industry, Dave wood and, and Dave sharp and these guys who really know what they're doing to take over the conversion process for you.
So all. You have to do, get out there and, you know, post on social media or do a little bit of search engine optimization or do a little bit of paid advertising, get that traffic there, and then let Dave go to work for you and upsell it for you. So, so you're really lucky here to be in a, in a system like empower network. but yeah, a little off subject there. No, that's completely, completely on subject.
And by all means, you know, make it, you know, as, as by all means, you know, we don't have to just, you know, hit that with a, with a quick touch and touch and go. I mean, this is what this is. About, you know, people understand this and, and we have niches that are untapped that until now, nobody had a reason to rank for them. Right. And so, I mean, I, I mean, cause, cause as you, as you know, like you, I'm, I'm very, very into SEO.
I day, I do Dave's personal SEO, for his sites and have for a long time now. And, you know, I, I'm doing keyword research and I mean, it's like my eyes are popping out of my head because I go and look at these keywords. And keyword phrases. And I think, well, you know, the only thing going on there is people who are, who are ranking for, for, you know, AdSense, you know, and other than that, there's really not going anything going on there. And, and we can, and we can rank for something with really good, you know, a few posts and link back to a site that we're already optimizing and, and, and have this all taken care of, which is amazing, you know, so, so we don't have to stick to, to just few niches, but people can, can blog about what they want, which is the coolest thing.
But I think, so, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, now are you doing any paid traffic type of advertising for, foreign power network? Actually, right now I'm not, I do plan to in the future, probably some Facebook pay-per-click, is what I'll be jumping into. but I'll, I'll say, you know, right now we're just in the first couple of weeks and I've been working really hard building systems and training for the team. So I haven't even started my marketing campaign really yet.
And, and it's already brought in close to $14,000, which is amazing. you know, in the first, you know, two and a half weeks of really advertising. And again, we haven't really even started our advertising campaigns yet. but yeah, I do plan on jumping into that probably a little bit of Facebook PPC here in the future, but right now it's a lot of my time has been spent, you know, putting together training and systems for the team. Okay.
Very cool. So to the new person who comes into empower network and they might have come into the empower network through, maybe they were in a network marketing company and then they found some other, you know, internet. Marketing, lead generation companies to help them with their network marketing, or they're a brand new person that just came to the empower network is, this is the coolest deal ever, you know, which it is, what would you say to them in terms of, well, okay, the only task now is to create good content. And, you know, some people kind of have different thoughts about that, you know, and, and there's always that in SEO, we call it, you know, the quality versus quantity. And what can you say to a new person about, you know, quality content and what, what, what concepts and mindsets do they want to keep in mind when they're creating content?
So you're saying for somebody that's in their own network marketing company that also joined a power to use in power to market their network marketing company, is that what you're saying? Well, that could be one person or, and it's more of a general statement as, you know, to a new person who comes in and they go, well, what do I blog about and how do I blog about it? What makes it good? What are the, what are the factors there that over your experience of being able to create content and use it? Content generation model like you've done, you know, what are the, what are the main in, you know, real important intangible factors that people need to keep in mind when creating good content?
Sure. Yeah, I actually just finished doing a whole module on this for, for my team when it comes down to keyword research and ideas to what, you know, what to talk about or what to market, with, empower network. Some of the biggest questions I get from people before they actually join a power network is, you know, I see tens of thousands of people are jumping on this thing, you know, how. Am I ever going to compete with these people? and that's the whole thing is you don't have to compete with anybody in a power network.
You don't have to go after, the keyword of power network and only blog about empower network. You can write about anything you want. and there's great ways to get content ideas from, you know, going to certain websites or picking, company names, network marketing company names. If you're in the network marketing niche, you know, go out there and do a little bit of keyword research and, find a keyword that's not too. Competitive.
But has high traffic. So maybe you can look for a company that's somewhat new, like six months old, that has a high gain. so it's, it's doing, well in the past six months or so, but there, there's not a lot of competitors there. So right there alone, that's, that's 10,000 things to write about because there's hundreds of thousands of network marketing companies out there. Now, when it comes to quality content about writing about these, network marketing companies, always stay positive, you know, excuse me, always stay positive in your content.
You know, don't write about, you know, you know, I was doing my research on XYZ company and, you know, it's a scam at just to get traffic to your, to your empower network blog. I always say, you know, do your research, actually look into the company, look at the compensation plan, look at the products, you know, see why people might join it, write good quality content about that, company. And have other people in the industry appreciate what you're doing rather than, you know, despise, despise you for it, you know? Absolutely. and, and you will attract a lot of attention and will attract a lot of traffic just by creating good content about other companies, for example, and you can post this to your empower network blog.
And therefore you've got traffic being delivered to your site on a daily basis. And this is stuff that, you know, can, as long as you rank highly for your content, this, this, this one article or blog post alone can drive in consistent traffic for you, on a daily basis while you're off on vacation somewhere, you know? Absolutely. Absolutely. And, and hundred percent commissions.
Oh yeah, love it. So, so to the other person who has never been in network marketing, but they came to the empower network and they were told, well, heck, I can blog about whatever I want. How does that translate for me to be able to make money? What would you tell that person? well, you got a couple of different options there, I would say.
Yeah. I mean, you know, anybody even in a traditional business, a mom and pop shop, a pizza restaurant, you know, or something like that, you can also write about this to rank for your own company or traditional company. And then while you're at it, earn 100% commissions because when you're driving traffic to your Empower Network blog about your topic of choice, about your traditional business or whatever it might be, you can also – people will see those banners on the right-hand side. Are you making 100% commissions? Where are you?
They see the little header at the top, and as soon as they click on that, then they're connected or coded. It's all coded to their account, and Dave takes over, does the sales process for them, and there's your 100% commission. Is that what you're asking? Absolutely, man. Absolutely.
Some people are just like, well, I like to blog about certain things that are hobby-related stuff that might not necessarily be something about network marketing or I don't have a business. But I'm a blogger. I'm a person that's wanting to become entrepreneurial, and I want to – and they say blog about what I want, and then they're going – they keep asking me when I bring my people, and they go, well, I want to blog about this, and I'm passionate about this, or I might be passionate about sustainable energy or permaculture or different things. And they go, how do I translate that to making money? And then you just answered that with, well, if you put that content on your site and you get traffic to it, you've got all those banners that people see, and they have only but one choice.
And they go, how do I translate that to making money? And they go, how do I translate that to making money? Which is to funnel everything in there on that site funnels into the videos that Dave sells for you. And what I found that was really effective for people is that I had told them, well, also at the end of your article, put a PS line so that it's a strong call to action. Click here to learn how I make money getting paid to blog about what I love.
Click here to learn how I get paid to blog about whatever keyword you were ranking for as well with the relevancy of the article that you wrote. And you can also embed videos, you know, someone who wants to, you know, get on there and talk and they're good on video, you know, they can do the same thing. So it opens up all kinds of worlds. Right. Absolutely.
Yeah, I was just talking about this with a teammate. I've got a professional piano player on the team that has never done anything like this before. I said, well, write about that, you know, do a little bit of keyword research, write about, you know, how you love piano, make a video about it, you know, talk about what you do and drive traffic to that and let the system take over and make you money. Absolutely. Absolutely.
So now that because you have a background in SEO, there's another question that I get a lot. I'd like to throw out there and see what your opinion is, your opinion on it is. And that is a lot of people who might be intermediate and have learned quite a bit of internet marketing and they or they've just learned to get up their own blog and now they have their own blog that's self-hosted and they were attempting to start building a lot of traffic to that. And now they jump into Empower Network and they've got this other blog and people go, well, how do I connect that together? What's my strategy there?
Am I trying to get people to my main blog? Am I trying to get them to the Empower blog? You know, what are some guidelines to follow for people there? What would you say? Absolutely.
Me personally, I actually did exactly what you're talking about. And I did build another blog just for Empower Network and actually have a tab within my blog that connects to my Empower Network blog. Now, I've got a whole bunch of niche blogs as well. So whenever I write a post or come up with content ideas, I'll also post this to my Empower Network blog and backlink the Empower Network blog to my niche blog. So now I'm doubling my traffic.
So what that is, is, you know, write the content with the keyword that I'm going after. It could be my company name or the niche, you know, blog that I'm talking about. Keep that keyword within my content. And then in that keyword, just hyperlink that keyword back to my, you know, my niche blog, you know. So now I'm not only...
I'm getting traffic from my niche blog alone, but I'm also increasing my rankings with my niche blog because of the authority in the Empower Network blog. Does that make sense? Yeah, absolutely. And I had explained that to one of my people. They were going to do exactly that.
And I said that, well, this is one way you could do it. And they said, well, aren't I attempting to get them to rank, you know, to watch my Empower Network video? So why would I link out from my Empower Network blog? You know, to another place where I'm selling them something or giving them information on stuff where I'm not going to earn 100% commissions. So just thought on that.
What would you say to someone who asked you that? Well, yeah, it's more important, in my opinion, it's more important to get the higher ranking in Google. So if I've got the niche blog and it's, you know, ranked number five in Google and I write an article about it, an external article, you know, that's a vote in Google's eyes that your niche blog is more important. So now... You've got an Empower Network blog with high authority and you have a link pointing back to that niche blog.
Well, that's another vote in Google's eyes, but now it's more of an authority vote. So that increases your rankings. So, and that's my niche blog, in other words, is my money site, you know, that's where people can make purchases from my current blog that I've already had before the Empower Network. So, you know, that's how I see it. Gotcha.
And so are you funneling people once you get them to your niche blog? Are you then sending them to the Empower Network videos and sales videos? Are you, you know, bringing them through your niche sites and companies first and then back-ending them into your... Sure, yeah, it's all part of the sales funnel. So, you know, hopefully the whole purpose here is to get them to opt in somewhere to an autoresponder either on my niche blog or an autoresponder on Empower Network.
And it's all part of the sales process that leads to the same place. So, if somebody opts in on my niche blog, then I'll have an autoresponder take over that will market, you know, to that prospect relevant to where they opted in, which will lead, you know, down the line will eventually lead back to Empower Network, you know? Yeah, and I'm actually really glad that you said that. And that's why I asked that question because a lot of people, you know, when I told them that, they said, well, that's a little counterintuitive, don't you think? I mean, I'm trying to get them to go to Empower Network to watch the video.
Why would I have them go off there to somewhere else? To watch something else and take them away from the chance of clicking on three different banners or a PS line or something like that where it takes them to the presentation. And, you know, this shows the wisdom of someone who understands a funnel and how to add value to somebody so that when you finally do show them what you have to offer, your conversion rates are extremely higher. And, you know, as we know from watching David Woods funnels, you know, that's absolutely the case. And so, that's why I asked that because I wanted to get.
Confirmation from, you know, someone else who does it that way where they've given people multiple exposures and in an email follow-up, you know, then they can show them the Empower Network after they've displayed value where their conversions are higher. Right. Absolutely. Yeah. And as long as you're relevant and providing value, you don't have to have a lot of leads.
To be honest, I don't get a ton, ton of leads. I'm not, you know, producing 200, 300, 400 leads a day like Dave. You know, sometimes I'm getting 40 leads a day, which is still decent. But, you know, it's when you get quality leads compared to, you know, you know, going out there and buying a list, which could be junk. I remember, okay, here's a good example.
When I first got started, I was advertising on AOL jobs, for example. This is advertising to the wrong type of prospect that I was talking about in the very beginning, which is you're marketing to somebody who does not have the entrepreneurial mindset. You're marketing to somebody who's, you know, they feel like they're out there looking for a job. They feel like they need to be working for somebody. So, I'm out there.
I'm advertising on AOL jobs, and I'm getting 3,000 leads a day. I thought I was going to kill it, you know. But out of 3,000 leads a day, I was converting about one of those per week, which was still decent. But, you know, 3,000 leads in one conversion. Now, I get about 10 leads a day, or, you know, if I took it down to 10 leads a day, say I get 40 leads a day.
But if I got 10 leads a day, I'm converting seven of them, you know, into a sale. So, it's a big difference of how you market. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Absolutely.
Yeah. Yeah, good to know. And that does, you're right. That goes exactly back to the mindset of what you were talking about earlier where, you know, when we first started, you cannot convince people who have, you know, had more than half of their life worked for a corporation or worked a job, and that's what they know and understand. And then you attempt to convince them otherwise, and most of them aren't trying to hear it anyway, you know.
Right. And that's really a cool concept for people to understand that, you know, yeah, you got to – here's a perfect example, okay. I had a – one of my team members, he was looking up different keywords, and he started going into the make money quick keyword phrases and how to make money quickly and easily, how to make fast money. And I got a hold of him, and I said, you know, why would you want to rank for this keyword? And he says, well, you know, we make money quick in the Empowered Network.
I said, well, Kevin, you are exactly right, my friend. We do. Quicker than just about anything, you know. It's pretty much instantaneous, you know, versus, you know, merchant account that might give you a 24-hour float, you know, from when someone buys something. But, you know, we make it pretty quick compared to everything else out there.
And I said, so I understand your logic. And he's a very, very smart, astute guy, very, very intelligent, you know, information guy, processing guy, chief information officer for a company, you know, for a long time, knows his stuff. He knows how to analyze stuff better than anything. And I've seen his outlines. I go, oh, my goodness, you know.
But then I said, well, but think about this, you know, what type of mindset are you attracting right now? When people search for those terms, what type of people are searching for that? They want to make money quick. And so for someone who has wisdom about running a business and being an entrepreneur and understanding how that flow works, they've been through a process where they know and understand that it takes work. It doesn't happen overnight.
It's not quick. Only after you understand, you know, what you're doing does it become a lot quicker and easier. And here are people that think that if they can find a shortcut somehow, that for some reason somebody on the Internet is going to tell them what the shortcut is, you know, what the secret is. And I said, you know, you're probably going to deal – you'll probably rank and you'll get a lot of leads and people wanting to know all the secrets and wanting to know all the tips and tricks, but they won't want to do any work. And just like you said, there is a skill.
There is a skill involved when it comes to learning how to write a good article. You know, you want to go read a bunch of articles that are the similar article, you know, to the keywords you rank for and see, you know, see what's ranking for the keyword you want to rank for and make sure that you're being relevant just like that, you know, first, second, and third ranked article is. What are they accomplishing? What are they saying? What's the ultimate outcome of their article or their video that ranks?
And how can you work yourself into the same equation, you know, because obviously it's ranking for a reason. You know, so it's great that you brought that out. And I think that's really a big takeaway for people to understand is that although there's been a little bit of overwhelm as to, you know, how people are just exploding in this thing and realizing how quickly they can make money and how fast they're making money and people who've never made money in their life are making money quickly and fast. But at the same time, you know, that people will think, well, can I just go tell that? Well, you know, that's tough because that's that mindset of people.
You want to go find people who are entrepreneurial minded and make money quick is not necessarily line up with an entrepreneurial mind. Don't you agree? Absolutely. Now, don't get me wrong. That's one of the first things that I typed in when I was doing my research online.
But a funny thing, I just said this on my training webinar just an hour ago. It's funny to make money quick. I think I use the example make money from home. OK. There's a couple of phases of the buying process that is probably one of the first phases that people go through when they start to look online for, you know, earning an income online, whether it's make money from home, you know, whatever, MLM, whatever it could be.
Well, that's usually the first phase of the process. So if you do get leads from this kind of keyword, you're going to get a lot of people who have a lot of questions who are never going to take action. You know, so that's the first page. Same with me. I went through the same process.
You know, at the time, I don't think I called anybody. But I probably clicked on a thousand or five thousand links all about make money from home, you know, until I found the network marketing company that interests me. That's the second phase of the buying process. So now it's I've got that keyword of that network marketing XYZ company, you know, so now I'm at the second phase of the buying process. I'm a little bit closer.
I've done my research, you know, so now I'm just about to buy. Now, the next phase of the buying process would be, you know, just finding the right person that you can connect with. Don't you think that would be the best phase to put your business in front of those people so you can skip that whole six months of research and now go after that keyword, which is XYZ company, the system or tool you need to market XYZ company. So it could be the Empower Network is what you need to do. You have to have something, a tool or a system like Empower Network to market XYZ company.
If you can get your opportunity, your business in front of those people, you're more than likely. To get a quicker sale than going after make money from home or make money quick, you know, so that's the third phase of the process. That's where you should be getting your article in front of those people, in my opinion, and that's what I've seen good results from. So if at all possible, skip phase one and two and go straight to phase three, because in phase one and two, you might have a lot of leads. But, you know, there's going to be a lot of cultivating of that of those leads and low conversion rates and people that don't really do much because they're expecting a lot for very long.
Little. Right. There you go. Absolutely. Well, this has been just packed full of wisdom.
I think that, you know, there's a lot to take away today from what you've you've displayed for people. And this is a very unique view that, you know, not a lot of people are in the space that you're in. And it's really cool to hear your philosophy on this because it's very important. So I really do respect the time and appreciate, you know, you've taken the time here for this. Is there any last words, any last things you would want to say to people that are inside?
The. Empowered network that are finally starting to, you know, do this thing, they're getting excited and they want to make some money. Sure. Yes. I mean, the most thing, the most important thing I could absolutely recommend is just continue to take action.
You're going to mess up. You're going to make mistakes. That's all part of the process. Just keep at it, you know, and soon enough you'll you'll hit those ten thousand dollar a month months or whatever it might be. There's literally no potential.
I mean, there's literally so much. Potential that you have here in this industry just comes down to taking action, setting goals and let nothing get in your way to accomplish them. Well said. Well said. Well, let's leave it at that, my friend.
It's been a pleasure and it has been fun and look forward to talking to you more. Looking forward to seeing you on the leaderboards and rising through the ranks.
