The Biggest Lie on the Internet Marketing Space

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Have you ever wondered what is really going on in the internet marketing niche these days? Are people really making money online or is it just all hype? I’ve been online for quite awhile now and I have seen thousands of “gurus” and “internet millionaires” but deep within I know that most of them are not making a single dollar or what they are earning is just not enough to cover bills. Why do I say that? It is because I’ve been there before! I was trapped in the same situation for 2 years. I’ve been trying to “Fake it until I make it“!

Faking it until you make it is the biggest lie I’ve seen in the internet. It’s not your fault if your currently doing it but you can certainly do something about it. Stop doing it and just inform everyone around you. Most of us were advised to do it that way so we can get a following. Some people make it and most don’t but that’s not the issue for me. The biggest issue for me is Integrity!

I always believed that in order to have a thriving business, it must be built on integrity. It is beyond honesty! Integrity includes moral principles and moral uprightness. People in the corporate world look for this unconsciously. If you fake things in your business, is there integrity? First of all you are not saying who you say you are already by faking it, right? Yeah well, I’m not totally faking it. I’m just adding some little details and twisting some facts.. Sorry to say bud, but a lie is still a lie. I’m sure not everyone will agree with me on this but this is my stand. A lie is a lie and it still affects your integrity!

I think we need to slow down and take some time to really check our perspectives in life. Are we really willing to make money at the expense of others? Is giving up integrity for money worth it? Are we really helping others if we give them empty promises? Why do most people say, “Don’t trust anyone but yourself“? This is such a lonely principle.. Always suspicious of the people around them.. Well, it’s not there fault. It’s just there way of protecting themselves after being lied to or deceived many times..

Tell you what, it’s never too late to fix things. I believe we can still make a difference and turn things around! It starts with you, me and each individual who is willing to take action. Let’s start building a better world for our children, grandchildren, and the next generations to come. It will not be easy but I promise you it’s worth it! We make mistakes and we learn from it. I think it’s time we build a community with trust and confidence and that’s only possible with integrity. How do we do this? Start by being yourself and stop pretending to be someone you are not. Be honest! If you don’t know certain things, admit it! Admitting it will help you A LOT in the learning process! Be real and stop faking things! Start with yourself then in your family then it will naturally flow to your business! You will discover that people will begin to follow you and do business with you not because you are rich or successful BUT because you are real and you have integrity!

Will you take this journey with me?
