I finally received my Musician Transformation Collection CD’s! I’ve been following Jermaine Griggs for awhile now and I really love his materials. I got a lot of licks and tricks by simply watching his videos on YouTube and free piano lessons.
Finally, I decided to invest on materials that will help me improve my music skills. I wanted to learn how to play gospel music for a long time but it took me awhile to find an instructor (Good thing a found Jermaine on the net!). I subscribed the Gospel Music Training Center and got the CD collection for free

ARE YOU A LEVITE?
If you are a church musician or a music minister, I would encourage you to invest on improving your skills. Honestly, I heard about people leaving the church because the music was simply awful. Comments like the guitars are not properly tuned, keyboardist keeps hitting the wrong note or the song leader singing off key. On the other hand, people also go to church and stay there because the music is great. Some don’t even understand what’s going on but they just keep coming back until one day the realize it’s not about the good music anymore but something more greater that touched their lives! Why is this so? Because you are a front-liner! Remember who marches in front when Israel goes to battle?
PLAY SKILLFULLY
This is one of the sensitive issues in church especially in the music team. Technical versus Spirit filled? Personally, I would say technical AND Spirit filled! Play skillfully! I have read this over and over in the Bible. Is it a suggestion or an instruction? Most of the time, we just take our ministry lightly. Over the years, I have learned to take mine seriously because it is my calling. I am called and appointed to do it and that’s why I invest time studying, training, practicing and spend money for materials. I do these so I can effectively do what I am called to do with excellence. Not for my own but for the expansion of the kingdom and for the body of Christ.
