Why blog?

Well I think that’s a great question, and funnily enough I have this question raised a lot!

This year I’ve set a few goals for myself…and I really do love a challenge so I have made a monster list as to why you should be blogging in your business starting TODAY.

Initially I thought I was just going to do 21 reasons – but let’s just say when I got started I couldn’t stop on the great reasons why you should be blogging…

I’ve also included an amazing bonus presentation at the end for free…that’s right for free so get reading!

Blogging just makes sense – it’s the perfect environment whereby you focus your thinking. I get it, people blog for different reasons and everyone is different.

We all have very unique goals, we have our own very personal dreams and we also have varying levels of drive.

If you are still on the edge about integrating a blog into your life and or business, I’m sure this list of reasons will make the water feel warm enough for you to leap right in. Maybe you are someone that has tried and given up…well here is some juice to recharge your blogging batteries.

Okay, so here we go:

Reasons Why YOU Should Be Blogging

  1. You have the ability to change someone’s life
  2. You can focus your attention on changing your own life
  3. You can spread your joy around the world by making people laugh
  4. You have the ability to touch people emotionally and drive them to tears
  5. You can make a little money on the side
  6. You can replace your full time income
  7. You can make the fortune only dreams are made of
  8. You can experiment in niches to find the path you really love
  9. Your kids will know all about you and your legacy
  10. Get freebies from companies that would like you to promote them on you blog
  11. Finally you can be famous
  12. You can have a brand shiny new job
  13. You can express yourself rather than supressing yourself
  14. You can learn as teach, become an expert in your niche
  15. You can make more cash than you have ever made in your life
  16. You will become a fantastic writer
  17. Mum will be very proud of you
  18. You will increase the traffic to your website
  19. Your following on social media will increase
  20. You will gain authority in your field
  21. You can generate leads and sales from blog posts for years
  22. You will keep refining your skills
  23. You can constantly tweak your blog for better SEO
  24. You can meet your mentors and idols
  25. You can be the person you want to be
  26. Really inexpensive way to promote your business
  27. Saves time – get your messages out to your audience immediately
  28. Don’t have to rely on journalists to write about your company
  29. You can build a tribe of followers
  30. You can work in your underwear…. if you want
  31. You can work at your kitchen table.
  32. You can work at the beach
  33. Your kids will say Mum is really cool because she makes so much money from her computer
  34. Your self esteem will soar
  35. Your mind will expand
  36. You will find purpose in your life
  37. You will exercise the muscle of self-discipline.
  38. You uncover life changing quotes
  39. You will receive in bound calls from new clients
  40. You will have the platform to inspire others
  41. You’ll get in the groove so much that you will probably end up writing a book
  42. You are connect to the world
  43. You can stay connected with family and friends.
  44. You unleash your creativity
  45. It can feel like a good therapy session without the massive outlay of moooohllahh
  46. You may actually find love
  47. You’ll become tough as nails
  48. You could name yourself Posh Spice if you really wanted to (but hopefully you’d smile a little)
  49. You’ll get a load more emails
  50. You can sell your product without exhausting face to face meetings
  51. You’ll reconnect with yourself. The feeling of giving back value is amazing – I promise you when you start receiving emails from people saying you changed their lives…. it will warm your heart
  52. You’ll get pretty darn good at taking photos
  53. You start to keep your house cleaner because you are taking more photos in the house
  54. You’ll get start kicking arse at catchy headline – the New Yorker might ask you to speak at their next conference
  55. You will ask people to buy from you….you will start using CTA’s without fearing it
  56. You will reveal in the reaction from people when you say “I’m a professional blogger”
  57. You will become a freaking ninja at getting traffic
  58. You will start to travel and be recognised at airports – it’s true
  59. You will get some very…very nice messages
  60. Your kids will start to make adorable cameos in your blogs
  61. You will astound yourself
  62. You can increase your video view count on YouTube
  63. You will learn the reasons why some sites work and some sites don’t
  64. You will develop into an entrepreneur
  65. You can be da boss
  66. You can develop your own team
  67. You will have the chance to finally get out of debt
  68. You can help someone else get out of a sticky financial situation
  69. You will stop playing it so face
  70. NO MORE PEAK HOUR TRAFFIC!!!
  71. Your customer relations skills will skyrocket
  72. You are a star and this my friend, is your time to show it!
  73. Be vulnerable and authentic and you will be blown away by the amount of love you get back just by being you.
  74. You’ll be able to see who is reading your stuff – with analytics
  75. Opportunities will opened up for you
  76. You have stage to showcase your achievements
  77. As your grow your connections you can bounce ideas off them
  78. You will start to gather testimonials
  79. Your blog will be one of your most powerful marketing tools

  93. You can write about your tragedies and your triumphs
  94. You can inspire other soon to be mums to make money from blogging
  95. You can form a mastermind group.
  96. You can preach the faith!
  97. You can make money when you are at your Yoga class
  98. You can promote your music and reach fans without needing corporate distribution.
  99. You’ll Make New friends
  100. You’ll Work out who your real friends are 🙂
