[Video] Let’s Look at the VMAs
So the VMAs were in Brooklyn, Brooklyn! The Barclay Center, that really interesting but let’s look more at the VMAs. Ok considering I figured everyone would take a look or at least want to know how others felt about the VMAs and we happened to DVR it so we can just skim through and catch “the moments”. So here’s what we noticed about the VMAs. I know that a lot of people have their different perspectives on why they see what they see so I’m going to tell you that I’m a very very esoteric spiritual person so I look at things differently. I have to say I saw what was underlying what I saw at the VMAs. I mean no one black one but mostly everything that won and were “the moments” were very black moments. Let me tell you what’s the fear of America; when you have all these people popping up making massive moves and going extended places on large scales you have to see what’s happening underneath. For a long time, the world has neglected and supressed that energy so much that it’s only right it’s time to come back around and hopefully if we can do what we are supposed to we can create balance and snap the matrix. The Matrix is nothing but the capitalist duality superiority ruled system ruling the masses mind right now. It’s all in how you want to choose to see things but it’s up to you to see it, because I did in the VMAs. But I’m going to say this, Black people have been asking for certain things for a long time and you have to be careful what you ask for. I’ll explain what I mean.

I’m only going to mention the things that I’m showing from the show.
You had the Miley Cyrus which just feels like she really doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana anymore. I think her and Justin Beiber are secretly having late night conversations or something lol.
I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore. The irony in how she’s coming out as herself is look at who and what she chooses to associate herself with. Check her out, just look at the energy. She did grind on Robin, and I like Robin but the attire, looked Beetlejuice inspired with a black and white stripped suit. And the grinding and twerking is just….look below at the video of the VMAs

It has become my favorite song of the summer, I just feel so much emotion in that song. And I loved that performance even though I wanted it to be performed all the way but it was MTV and it would have a lot bleeps so whatever. We go on to see Taylor Swift and Macklemore win awards, Macklemore won for video with best social message with “Same Love”. Cool message I honestly hadn’t heard of this guy until tonight, what can I say I don’t watch much TV. With this guy and his music it goes back to what I was saying before about energy. He had already won for best HipHop video which I’m pretty sure a lot of people were tight about considering he did beat out a good set of people including Drake. I listened to the song, the lyrics and it’s a cool song. It’s not bad the message was cool and he seems like a sincere guy about his music even after thanking all “the homies” in the category lol. On with our look at the VMAs. Now what most may have considered the best of the night came with Justin Timberlake performing for like 20-25 minutes which even included a N’Sync reunion. At least he did acknowledge N’Synce and make that nice gesture. Very good performance, JT is very talented and it was only right for the VMAs to give him the awards that he did get, there was a point in time where he and N’Sync literally built MTV and always gave them more than most would. I’ve met people who’ve said JT is a swell guy, so moving on….

Kevin Hart had his last moment of “comedy” afterwards and then we see Drake perform. And suprisingly he begins doing his R&B thing before getting into Started From the Bottom. Here’s what I don’t get about people because this is the society that we live in right? Well people always say that Drake’s not a tough guy, he’s not this or that, but honestly dude is just being himself. If his deepest wounds comes from women and he expresses that I think that’s as real as anyone can ask you to be in a genre centered around masculine tough competition. I respect anyone who will be themselves, and men acting like they’ve never had any feelings before are the biggest pretenders to me. Ok so that’s pretty much about it for the VMAs, Justin Timberlake goes on to win Video of the Year with Mirrors which is a dope record to me and Katy Perry performed whatever she performed at the end of the VMAs.
Here’s what I got from it all, Miley Cyrus twerking by far is the most hilarious thing in the world to me, of course it’s not for conservative White America, but that’s who she wants to be. She appears to be garnering some Madonna thing going on, I don’t care what anybody says JT and Robin are prime examples of hidden soul, that’s just real. They get down. You have Macklemore snatching awards, and here’s all I have to say. Watch out in the future, it seems like “white people” are getting better at being “black” than black people. Race is a funny issue because people are really sensitive about it, but I’m not. I’m to a point where ignorance is ignorance and dislike and prejudice on either side is completely stupid if everyone really had the ability to use their minds for themselves. Now I’m not saying that people aren’t racist and and a superiority complex exists in society, but what I am saying is that anyone who is trying to have peace in this day in age have to adapt a different perspective to look at things from a positive point of view. But I’m sure they’ll be many people who will refute this and say this and that, but no one is here by accident. Things don’t happen how they do for no reason. Black is elite, look around you it’s everywhere. All you see is that symbology. The popularity in Pop culture looks a lot like Black people, just think about it. Just look at it. And let’s think about it, if you need a history lesson, let’s not act like we don’t know where everyone comes from. Don’t let society push you to only see external color lines, it’s deeper than that. There’s a whole different world that you can choose to see. Open your eyes. Overall it wasn’t great, and I’m glad we could just fast forward because there was a lot of fast forwarding lol.
