If you’ve heard MCHG then I’m sure Crown was one of those tracks that you know Jay Z was speaking in his coded dialect, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on the meaning to Jay Z Crown lyrics. Now before I begin, this doesn’t mean I had a personal conversation with Jay Z of course but this is what it’s saying to me. With music it’s important to understand where it comes from especially with Hip-Hop because it’s said to come from the “dome” dome meaning wise dome, wisdom, combining right and left brain to deliver a message from the source, the pineal, the 3rd eye, the Holy Grail so to speak. And I really like the beat with the Sizzla sample done by Wondagurl who is 16 by the way, amazing beat. It comes on and it draws you, it’s sinister it’s electromagnetic, pulls in to open you up. Then it pulses and you hear Jay come in chanting crown, like ok what’s he about to reference.

many people has questioned his beliefs and what he’s associated with. Many have said that he’s been known to be associated with different things including the Nations of Gods & Earths (NGE) which references the black man as God. Jay Z even further raised the buzz on this very subject by wearing a NGE chain in some interviews as well as the photo above. Could be something, or it could be nothing I mean he does wear a Jesus piece so does that make him a Christian? Right….. But anyway he’s known to reference himself as Hov, or Hova, Jay-Hova and such, so he says yes I am a God, because I put in the belly of the beast, meaning the most ruthless of circumstances in the poverty black neighborhoods of America known as the projects. I never understood why it’s called the projects, kind of questionable when you think about it right?
And of course considering the album’s religious reference the belly of the beast the whale that Jonah was in after preaching to the sinful people. But in a spiritual reference this also has to do with the path to oneself. Our solar plexus which has to do with our chakras, the solar plexus or our sun is in the belly. The belly is where the beast reside, our lower selves in reference to our energy centers. He goes on to brag about his success, what he’s done. “Uncle said I’ll never sell a million records I sold a million records like a million times” yes people doubted me but I got there, I did that! That came from my crown, from my divine essence. They shouldn’t of let me in, because I’ll never stop. I deserve the crown I wear the crown, I am the crown.

Some people want to say that’s NOT about Blacks in America but I beg to differ because the whole album carries this tone. All of it, and one of my other album favorites Oceans clearly covers the idea of this reference in how Columbus didn’t discover America. I’m a studier of history so I’m well aware of the pre-colonial Black history on this land before any colonization happened here along with the Indigenous people of this land. Fear is what you call God, whatever you fear controls you. So as a God you must fear me too, it’s only right. It’s not out of intention but it’s just out of understanding because based on your level of understanding of what God is, I must be that in your mind so therefore you all fear me. That comes with the crown, people fear what they don’t understand so you gotta be prepared for that if you want to wear the crown.

This line, is REALLY clever because you can take it different ways. You already seen me turn a man to a G.O.A.T, metaphorically speaking a goat is symbolic for the beast. Whenever you see devil, or occultic symbols of a beast its usually associated with the goat (such as the baphomet). Also Goat as in greatest of all time, how ironic that people of our culture called people the Goat of something when they are the greatest when to the subconscious mind a goat is the beast, the devil??? See spiritual warfare isn associated with your subconscious mind, everything is after your mind. Your mind keeps this whole matrix going. But the magnificence in saying Goat, could be saying Kanye can be the best of all-time, a stretch but maybe not. Or he himself went from man to the Goat, the greatest of all time. Now there is another way to look at goat, because although the goat is associated with darkness it is also associated with the zodiac which is the sign of the Capricorn. Now in Christianity, as he references himself as Hov, God gave his only son, Jesus whom is celebrated in life on December 25 falling under the sign of the Capricorn, or the goat. There is a reason for the Goat, being portrayed to the subconscious one way so that you can always see things a certain way. The goat, is the scapegoat, meaning takes the blame for the evils of the world. But the Goat is merely a principle a representation of what is that part of us and what we must conquer to get to Heaven ourselves.
