Reason Why Empower Network May Not Be For Part 2

In a previous post we discussed the top reason why Empire Network  many not be for you.  You can read it here —-> Part 1 .In this post we continue the discussion with two more reasons why Empower Network may not be for you. They are as follows:

  1. People who want everything to be perfect before they start.  Dave Wood’s, the co-founder of Empower, has a core philosophy, and that involves breaking things and innovation.  It’s much like child birth. In order for a child to be born, a woman’s water has to break. It doesn’t matter if this is done naturally or manually. In order for the child to continue to grow, thrive, and develop it has to be born and in order for it to leave the womb something has to break. Even though the womb is the perfect place for it for the first 9 months of growth and development. At some point this perfection inhibits our growth. This is true for many facets of life. Perfection hinders our ability to evolve.  The splendor in life occurs through the hardships of change, these hardships are often felt in grass roots movements such as Empower Network.  As Dave Wood states, “part of being ‘grass roots’ is baring aches and pains, and growing stronger through the fire.  Real entrepreneurs understand that the greatest opportunity lies in the wake of innovation.”
  2. People who are deemed wussies.  You will hear and see the word wussy or wussies a lot in Empower Network, and sometimes it might irritate you or make you mad. This is especially true if you fall in the category of being a wussy or demonstrate wussy like behavior. Although it’s not a word that I’m big on using, I understand it and will convey its meaning here. Empower Network has a strict ‘no wussies allowed’ policy.  What exactly is a wussy? A wussy is someone who doesn’t take responsibility for their own actions and ultimately their own life. It’s someone that blames the world for their problems. The truth of the matter is that everyone has problems and a lot of the problems we encounter are self inflicted. We have to be able to withstand and persevere through the various challenges that come our way. If you are not willing to do this, you are a wussy by Empower Network standards. The Empower Network community and more specifically the T.E.A.M. Success does not tolerate or condone whining or complaining. If we are to going to do this and strive to be successful we have to be focused and productive. Each person is responsible for his or her own actions. We are here to empower, help, and support one another that use each other as scapegoats or dumping bags. If you take ownership of your actions and are committed to your vision for success – you’ll LOVE being on my team and  the culture at Empower Network.
