One of the most valuable instructions my mother ever gave me as a little girl was to read the book of Proverbs in the Bible.

If you are serious about being a leader, gaining prosperity, and fulfilling your purpose, it is a must read!

See the video below to learn why this book is so critical

Solomon was indeed one of the wealthiest Kings if not the wealthiest king who ever lived. However when he had an encounter with God in a dream he didn’t ask for wealth, he asked for wisdom to carry out the path that God had placed in front of him as King and ruler of Israel. This is critical for all leaders to catch.  Wealth, riches, and honor came as a result of Solomon’s heart and desire to fulfill his purpose and  lead others in the right way. Read 1 Kings 3:9-14.

You can gain Solomon’s wisdom by reading Proverbs.

In our pursuit of wealth, it’s important that we have definiteness of purpose and wisdom, and that’s exactly what the book helps us to discover.

Proverbs is full of the wisdom that God graced upon Solomon, and it covers every aspect of life.

The book has 31 chapters. I suggest starting out by reading one chapter a day.

Do this at least once a year.

This was the same suggestion my mom gave me, and each time I do, I gain more wisdom and understanding each and every time.

Happy Reading!

As you take your journey through the book, feel free to share your insights in the comments below. I would absolutely love to hear them!
