Most people create a digital marketing business so they can take advantage of the freedom that it can bring to their lifestyle, one of the most appealing things about a laptop lifestyle is the fact that you can still do business no matter where you are and no matter what you are doing.
In order to create a laptop lifestyle you need to have technology that allows you to access the Internet on the go this could be a laptop, a tablet, a mobile phone or any other portable device with wireless internet connectivity.

The improved internet speed will initially be available in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Sheffield. The UK will overtake the US and be level pegging with Japan for internet speed just by doubling the amount of airwaves carrying their 4G service.

So what difference is the new and improved 4G going to make Internet Marketers?
- The new 80 megabytes per second internet speed will improve the quality of video calls, and calls within applications like Skype. The picture will be a lot crisper and will not pixelate also there will be no sound delay.
- The new speed is designed to be ready to handle any new app that hits the market place so there is no waiting around for the latest technology in order to use the latest apps.
- User’s social media browsing experience will improve – news feeds will buffer quicker, uploading content will be much faster and there will be no more waiting to media to load.
The good news is that EE are not going to stop there as they will review the network again at the end of the year with the hope of doubling its internet speed yet again to a crazy 300 Mbps, let’s hope that they expand the coverage so that other cities and towns can take advantage of the new and improved internet speed.
Increased internet speeds will mean better opportunities for app developers to take their applications to the next level and also convert some popular sites to an app format, on my IPhone I have apps for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg already loaded and if you browse the app store you will come across hundreds more apps you could use for Internet marketing. A lot of these apps are exclusive to mobile devices and cannot be accessed on the Internet meaning there is a niche that you can market to if you can successfully market on a portable device.
