Untwist your jockeys, this is a nice blog…well, mostly. ‘Cuz I’m a nice person…mostly.
Lately I’ve been effing my eff in a big way! And I’m here to encourage you to eff your eff as well.
Sometimes, especially if your shy (which I most certainly am not but it probably wouldn’t hurt if I was) it’s hard to put yourself out there! If you’re in the network marketing niche, you’re out there 24/7.
I’m not saying you should get right out of bed and go out in public in yoga pants or with your hair all crazy…oh wait, I did that this morning.
Frightening.
I’m just saying that you have to break through and
Face your Fears!
Fear holds us back and no one ever did anything great by succumbing to their fear and staying in a comfortable place.
Sadly, that is exactly what so many of us do! We get comfortable and then we get nervous and won’t break out of our comfort zone and give new things a try.
We watch from the sidelines at the Greats and wish we could be them.
“How would it be to be LeBron James?” or “How would it be to be Angelina Jolie?”
“They are SOOOOO lucky”
If you told either of those people they were “lucky”, they’d probably be offended!!!
They Faced their Fears and stuck it out there! They found their passion, whether it’s basketball, acting, or helping others. Sometimes what they stick out there even get’s cut off. Both of these people take a helluva media bashing on a regular basis. Perfect strangers are always in their business.
Admit it, how many of you have commented on or criticized either of these people or heard others criticizing them?
Did your comments stop either one of these people from following their dream?
Nope!
Of course not. Because they didn’t get to the place where they’re successful doing what they love by hiding behind other people and hoping that they will some day “get lucky too”. Because their success isn’t based in luck. It’s based in tenacity and perseverance!
Because when you eff your eff, eventually, you discover that your Effs just aren’t that scary after all.
Unless you go outside in your yoga pants with crazy bed head at 6:30 in the morning.
*shiver*
Now THAT’s scary!
Like zombies on Halloween Scary!
Wishing you happiness and success in all you do!

Origin of “Eff your Eff”: One of my friends was with her kids at the park, teaching her 7 year old daughter to ride her bike. A park right next door to a fire station I might add, on a day when all of the firefighters were out in the park playing football. Her 7 year old was having trouble getting over her fear after they’d dropped the training wheels, and my friend had been telling her over and over that she just needed to face her fears and go for it! After a while it started to get a little dark. Her 4 year old doesn’t like the dark and got nervous. As she came screaming across the lawn to her mom, the 7 year old starts yelling back “EFF YOUR EFF!!! YOU’VE GOT TO EFF YOUR EFF!!!”
Well, to my friends mortal embarrassment, ALL of the firefighters got a kick out of that one! I’d be willing to bet they tell each other to eff their eff all of the time.
