Who is Lorde?

Lorde

Ella Yelich-O’Connor, or known as her stage name, Lorde, is a 16 year old singer and song writer from New Zealand! You go girl you’re making us Kiwi’s proud!

Ella was born on the 7th of November 1996, in Auckland New Zealand.

Lorde was put at number 1 on the New Zealand Top 40 on 15 March 2013 and remained in the top position for the next three weeks. On the same day, Her EP Love Club set in at the number 2 position on the album chart.

Lorde has an amazing amount of talent, and believe it or not she is only 16! I think she has a massive future ahead of her, I only found out about her yesterday, granted I am in the US right now and not at home in New Zealand.

She talks about here music in the interview, she says her music focuses more on the vocals, her music is quite catchy, and she is an amazing singer, I do like it. Here is an interview of Lorde, on Ripe TV.

Ella’s first Album, Pure Heroine, is scheduled for a September 2013 release.

What Do I Think of Lorde?

Lorde, well Ella Yelich-O’Connor, is bloody talented for her age it’s unbelievable, I have listen to most of the songs she has out, and her song Bravado is probably my favorite, I can compare this one similar to Adele at the beginning, just kind of reminds me of her.

Lorde is absolutely going to go far, with here amazing voice, her very long beachy hair, she is only just emerging and she has so many fans, she is actually on a live tour now believe it or not!

Like I said I only just found out about her, and I already like her. If you haven’t heard any of her music I strongly suggest you check them out, I think you will be finding it hard to believe she is only 16.

Here’s her new single Royals, it’s quite an interesting song, and I like it a lot.
So what do you think, Lorde, the next queen of pop? I think yes.
