I woke up this morning and had no idea what I was going to write about or create.  Below is the strategy that I followed to spark an idea, develop 5 different ideas from that idea, create a MindMap, create an audio, create a video and write this article in less than 45 minutes.

 Create an Intention Before You Start – You need to know where you are going before you start or you will find yourself wandering around aimlessly and without direction.

Have a Strategy or Create a Strategy –

Macro Concept – What Are You Creating That You Can Use Again (Applies in All Areas).  As you are doing the work, you want to jot down what you are doing.  If this becomes a raging success, you want to be able to go back and use it again.  It is also training that you can give others who want to replicate your process.

Life Lesson – This makes it personal.  The Macro Strategy is just a list of ideas.  While that is good because people need a checklist, it is also important that you personalize what you are doing and actually implement it yourself.  It gives you credibility because it shows that you practice what you preach.  More importantly, it gives the reader some more ideas on how they can implement your strategy.

Drill As Far As You Want to Go Into an Idea – This is the fun part.  with a MindMap (I suggest creating a MindMap for each of these strategies, you can dig as far as you want to go into ideas.  The ideas that have legs will go deep.  The ideas that are not so good will not go so deep.  The beauty is that you can go as deep or as shallow as you want and nothing is lost.

Flow Where it Goes – Don’t be rigid.  The unrelated idea that come up with may be the greatest idea that you have.  Do not stifle that idea. If you cannot use it right now, you can use it later on.

Check Back On Your Intention – It is important to create an intention at the beginning of each piece of content that you write.  Check back to make sure you are still on the right track to fulfill on your intention.  I know with this piece right here that I am moving int he correct direction because one of my intentions was to create a written piece of content.

This is about creating content from nothing. And, this is an idea of a great way of expression, just sit down and start literally with nothing. Start from scratch, and to be able to move forward and to create content and for me personally another artist, another person who considers myself a musician or a painter, but this is a way for somebody like who is a pretty,

I don’t want to use linear thinker, but necessarily not a creative thinker to express myself creatively.

So, if you look at like this, just you know just you had ideas out there, I think this is one of the most best expression and this is the way to do it, and without any pressure and actually creating it from nothing. So, let me get into this, what I do is I start with a trigger point, the whole idea is this if you have no idea of what you want to do and you don’t know where you start.

Start with a trigger point something to get your mind going, so that could be an idea you could say, you know, how to make more money, or how to have a happy life, whatever it is you start with a basic idea for a concept, you can watch a video. Great set of videos of tech docs, because they are people at the top of their field, when you listen to what they are saying that is going to spark new ideas for you.

StumbleUpon is also a great place, you can select your particular interest, and usually it feeds a video gets related to things that you like that you can start creating from a quote, this is another way of doing, if you look at the things, quote, that’s another way to start it.

So, fact of the matter is, it really does not matter too much where you start, you can start with an idea that’s kind of outside of yourself as a trigger point, you don’t have to address it linearly, you can just, you know, start from that point and start the ball rolling.

So, what I also like to do is create macro content. I guess better way to put it as a macro content is, what do you know or learn up to do is fit in the future. What this does is allows you to start putting a system into place that you could follow step by step.

The beautiful thing about following step by step systems, you don’t have to focus on creating the system besides the first time that you actually do it, you just have to follow on executing it, which allows you to take off some of the pressure of having to manage yourself as you are going through the work.

So, win-win situation in create macro content in ways that you are going to move forward, and that’s what this slideshow is taking off. But, ways for you to move forward as you are actually doing the work.

Next thing is life lesson – this is beautiful, so for example in this case, when I created this video which is about creating content from nothing, I would up looking upon a StumbleUpon video that was about solving your problems. So, that’s what I can do, what I can do is. Sorry it’s not actually solving your problems, it’s how to get yourself in action and what that did, that sparked this, also sparked a piece of content on getting yourself in action.

So, what you can do is, what’s so beautiful about this is you can use yourself as a test case, you know, see if your ideas work, you know, create a pilot it does not need to be perfect. What it does is it allows people to connect with you.

So, in last line what you are going to do is you create a step you wanted to follow and this side you actually start executing those steps, and I pretty much do those two things concurrently when I’m doing my work.

So, this is the drilldown – you started with the idea couple of slides back, I am sure you will do a drilldown is the idea. But what I would like to do is the mindmap, because it allows to get all my ideas onto my computer and set onto paper here. Get all the ideas and you can think it out which ideas you really want to explore.

And the beautiful thing is you can go as deep as you want to go, or you can go as shallow as you want to go. It doesn’t necessarily make a difference, you can also follow tangents, it does not matter because you are not necessarily going to develop everything.

What you want to head down a particular road to see if you are heading in the right direction, and this allows you to create an intention, you know, to, let me go back to the slide again, I am actually going to do the rest of it from here.

It allows you to create a contention as you are working through. So, if you fulfill your intention, everything you do on top of that is creating is probably going to be the stuff you do on top of that is going to be the better stuff that you going to do.
