The Power of Visualization

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Below is a transcription of this video –

Hey, in this video I want to talk about the power of visualization.

I want to talk about a different angle than what I think a lot of people talk about.

I think when The Secret came out four or five years ago, there was a misconception that you could actually just think of something and create it in your mind and have it manifest into reality.

I do believe that’s possible. I believe that’s possible for people who have faith that it’ll work 100% for them, but I don’t think it’s possible for the vast majority of the population.

So is there a place for visualization for the rest of us, those of us that are training to be able to create something from absolutely nothing?

I think that there is. I just did a visualization exercise a few minutes ago and I wasn’t feeling so good at the time. I’d just woke up from my nap. I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep in the last couple of days.

I did a little bit of exercise and what it did is it inspired me into action. It probably had me causing action and doing actions I wouldn’t do otherwise.

I saw a future that looked really good in that visualization.

It had to do with our next company event for a power network and actually being a [inaudible]. In doing that, I realized that working backwards from that, seeing what I know [inaudible] today to what actions I can take to get myself into a position.

I may probably do a more powerful activity than I would have done otherwise. If you don’t necessarily believe in visualization [inaudible] achievement aspect you probably [inaudible], but visualization works from a perspective of getting yourself and causing yourself to do the right actions.

I think [inaudible] definitely is going to make all the difference in the world.

Thanks a lot for listening. This is Justin. If you’re going to take some action, take some action pretty quickly. Click on the link below and check out what we’re up to and join us, thanks.
