Can You Follow A Plan
So my last post was about keeping things simple. I discussed how it is important to make sure that you are following the system that is part of the company that you are with. The fact is that if you want others to be able to follow what you are doing and have the same measurable success and then you have to be doing something everyone can do.
Yesterday I played a game on my Facebook profile. It was not just a game though it had instructions with it. See in order to play the game you had to make up something about the friend that had this as their status and then you had to copy the same message into your profile status.
Now I know you are sitting here wondering what the heck this game has to do with your business. Well everything. See I learned some very important things while playing this game yesterday.
See the first thing was that in the beginning it did not attract much attention as it was late at night and I was just blowing off steam and checking out the statuses of my overseas friends. This was one of their statuses first. Then it got a little attention.
The first person to post did not follow the rules. And so they did not post this as their status and I could not reciprocate. Then the next person posted and they followed all the way through. So I wrote on their wall and then another friend and they did not follow through at first, but then after watching the banter back and forth posted it on their wall. And then another friend jumped in and we posted back and forth on each other’s walls having a great time and making up all kinds of silliness.
Still wondering how this all ties into your business well it is simple directions. When are given a duplication system it comes with directions to follow. If you fail to follow through with one of the directions you could miss out.

Follow All the Directions
So the first thing that you need to realize is that you need to go through all the directions that come with your system. It is also important to read and re-read all the directions to make sure that you do not miss something, much like the game I discussed. You had to read all the directions and follow through in order for the whole system to work. The same thing goes for your business.
Now I can hear a couple of you saying that you cannot follow the given model or what other excuse you are coming up with. If you really are going to be an entrepreneur then you are going to have to find a way around your excuses. You will not know what you can do until you have truly tried.
Also this is the time to ask for help and clarity from your upline. If you get to a point in the directions and trainings that you have been given and you are truly stuck and have done everything to make sense of what they are wanting, it us up to you to ask for clarity. See many people get to this point and think oh well my upline is not doing this for me and I find it too hard so I will just quit.
If you are serious about creating a lifestyle that does not include punching a time clock and making someone else rich, then you are going to have to get the answers. Do not sit on the sidelines and expect your sponsor to come hold your hand through it. They are busy building their business; it is your job to build yours. Ask for help and do not get discourage if it takes time for them to get back to you. They are busy.
Relationship Matters
So here was something else I found interesting. The people that responded were newer friends. These people were ones that I had all talked to in the last couple of days. Now I have a few friends that answered, but that did not set up their status that were older more established friends. But that seemed to be more of a popping over to say hi.
So why was this information crucial well think about it. I was on the minds of those I had been actively talking with over the last few days. My old friends were more interested in just popping by, but the newer ones wanted to interact and learn more. This is much like our businesses, those people we were just in front of are more likely to buy or use our service than those that see us and know us, unless we engage with them.
Participation Equals Fun
So another magical observation came out of that. It took one person that read the directions all the way and me interacting with them in front of others that got the game into full swing and created the hour of back and forth banter that followed. It also showed others what to do and what would happen if they did.
Whenever you can you should always try and do basic trainings in a group. Now before you ask why the fact is that when people are participating and feel a part of something they will learn more. People learn more from each other plan and simple. They also seem to learn more when you make it exciting and fun like the game that added to the learning.
So following directions and following through with them all works in your benefit. If you are confused or stuck and have seriously tried then it is time to ask for help, and if you have the chance to, go and have some fun learning with others. You will learn not only from how the system works, but different viewpoints find different solutions that might not be obvious to you at the time.
