In honor of Martin Luther King’s birthday, I wanted to share this vide0.
If nothing else, can you imagine how Martin Luther King would feel today seeing his dream of that time come to be.
Was it easy? No
Was it worth it? I believe it was – most dreams are.

You’ve likely heard or read the speech before
“When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”
“NOW is the Time!”
If not now, when? When will you allow your DREAM to happen?
For me, my dream includes being able to say the words “free at last!, Free at last!” I want the type of lifestyle that allows me all the freedoms I desire in ALL areas of my life.
Freedom to travel anywhere and everywhere at any time!
Freedom to do the things I want to do, when I want and with whom I want!
Freedom to give to others that are in need without even blinking an eye about cost, etc.!
Freedom to truly live my life on purpose!
This DREAM of freedom really became apparent to me when I was working a full time job. I worked as a Patrol Sgt., 10 hour shifts on graveyard and LOVED what I did but my life evolved around work. I was reminded of this last week while I spent a week in the hospital with my 85 year old mom suffering with Congestive Heart Failure. The nursing staff was great and they never seemed to stop. I don’t think I saw them sit down at all during their shift ( at least day shift nurses). Their entire day is spent running around caring for too many patients and they do this for 12 hours. I chatted with one nurse who told me she basically goes home, eats something, and goes to bed to get up the next day and repeat the process to be back at work on shift by 6:00 am.
Although, we certainly would be hurting without people willing to do this profession, what kind of life is this. I imagine Doctors have it worse.
I sat there in gratitude that my humble choice to do what I do gave me the ability to spend ALL day with my mom and be by her side. No having to ask my boss, get time off approved, or make up my work later, or losing money because I didn’t show up.
I actually worked on my laptop sitting right next to her (thank God for Wifi)
If money was no object, what would your DREAM be?
What if there really was a way to live your dream and it could begin today?
Would you consider it?
What if you could pay all your bills when they came due?
What if you could go to the doctor without worry what it will cost or if you have insurance or not
Braces for the kids – no problem!
College tuition – no problem!
Car needs repairs – buy a new one!
