Do Plants and Growing a Small Business have anything in common?

Growing a Small Business

I would say a resounding, YES!

It is amazing how much Growing Plants is Similar to Building a Team or Business!

With my love of growing plants, I see the correlation between plant care and building a healthy team or business. Now that I am doing both!

You see the same natural laws that go into the caring for the plants goes into your teams or growing a small businesses. You as a team leader or a small business owner, attract others that want what you have to offer. Be it a job or a part of a vision to grow a team around.

This is the visible signs of the law of attraction that we can actually look at!!

When we take to task of coaching or training new people it is much like the caring for your new plants.

So when we bring home a new plant from a nursery, you first pick out the place to plant it.

Then you get to fertilize, water, stake it up (care for and train it)… to make sure that the plant takes hold and gets strong, so later it grows on its own without much care.

Well the same goes for growing a team or small business or even smaller, the teammate or employee.

As entrepreneurs we are thrilled when we see our new people take hold of what we are teaching and move onto being strong individuals in growing small businesses.

I personally will help my team in group situations so they have the ability to learn from each other as well as from me, or any other leader. I will always get in touch with my new teammate to make sure they get going on the right foot, sort of speaking.

Many resources are setup for each individual to tap into and learn at their own pace, which comes in very handy since we have members all around the globe.
