3 Tips on How to Get Organized in Business?

 How to Get Organized so the Overwhelm will not set in.

I have had some of my new team members say that they are overwhelmed and are not sure where to start in their business.

In this video I share more about my tips…

Unfortunately when we start anything new there is a lot to learn before we get good at it, whatever it is.

I remember when I first started working as a court clerk, it was crazy for about two weeks!  Then I started to understand why I was required to do certain things and I could get organized.  Well when we start our own businesses, it is the same way.

The three tips in a nutshell:  After setting your outcome and you can see it…

1.  List the things you know (what are you starting with)

2.  List the things you are learning (things that you have in the works)

3.  List the things you don’t know and number them in order of importance (all the stuff you know you need to learn – this grows as you figure out how much you really don’t know)

For my business my lists to get organized looked like this:

 

1.   I know my interest, have a computer,read self improvement stuff

2.    Learning how to connect with people on Facebook, how to be a better writer, how to tell my story

3.    (the biggest category at first)

What a Blog was, 1

What to blog about, 2

how to put in links, 3

how to put a photo on the blog, 4

what HTML was, 5

how to put in Videos,

how to syndicate,

how to promote on FB,

how to get a YouTube account

how not to get kicked off of FB

How not to get my videos banned by YouTube

What keyword research was

What SEO was

How to look things up on Google

and many more.

On the bright side….

As I went through the training videos, did my reading, listened to the leaders on the webinars, and got better at looking things up on Google, I was able to move the items from list number 3 to list number 2 then to number 1.

As we learn, we have more to blog about and teach others that are coming into our businesses.

Kind of goes full circle, if you know what I mean.

So this list system has worked well to get me organized and I want you to tell me if it works for too!

Knowing full well there are many ways to get organized, as well as organizing products, professional organizers, and different ways to get organized at work and home.  This just worked for me.

This system is adaptable to any business model or new task you take on!

For me,  I  would not have a regular JOB or business that nails me down any longer, I want to see my team and myself as being free to go wherever, whenever.
